She held 3 hearings for the subcommittee which she chairs last year, the last being on Oct. 17, 2007. It is the subcommittee for Superfund and Environmental Health (you can get the details from their website).

The Republicans can’t achieve, they can only take apart what can be put together again, easily, but they cannot solidify or advance an agenda.

And that is because narcissism can’t do the work, can’t make a plan, can’t succeed, but narcissism can fire a gun, but then, so can a two year old.

I believe she came into these primaries believing she was going to have a clear and easy path to the nomination. Therefore she was completely unprepared for any challenge. That is evident in her debates.

I think you are fighting with a Rovian model, and it is trite, internecine, and in the long run, ineffective.

It is very important for the candidate to maintain a higher level of discourse, here, a real discourse, one used be real players, not engaged in a game of special olympics football.

Obama, like Rove, cheats. Neither can do their jobs, neither is qualified. America then suffers because neither Obama nor Cheney, say is capable of winning a war, or managing a world class crisis situation. Bush all over again.

Period.

So why use the strategy of a loser, a strategy subject to the law of diminishing returns?

Hillary must lead, and she must do it in a way that finally crushes the no talent narcissists currently infesting Washington, and the media.

Really, the mess we are facing now, in the world, and domestically, is due to men who think like the idiot Salon writer, all puffed up, “dressed and self impressed” but no talent, no intellect, an elite beauty contest for the inane and simple minded.

And if they all wanna take pictures of each other, fine, but we face a real crisis, there is a real war going on, and none of those people have a fucking clue how to run it.

I have done the same but it was several weeks ago. I will not support a party that memes RW talking points against their own - expecially for such a lesser candidate.

The cable groups have been banned at my house - they are unprofessional corporate shills. We have no journalists providing unbias facts. It has been this way for a while. I just decided enough was enough. There has never been a time that we have needed Sen. Clinton’s experience and grace more.

I recommend to all like-minded Democrat’s, that if Obama gets the nomination, we all cancel our subscription to supposed “left-leaning” podcasts, that are anything but and stop tuning in to this MSM drivel.

I called Bill Press’s show this morning to say that I am all in favor of critical analysis of political candidates, howver that analysis should be fair and based in fact. I then went on to tell him that I had canceled my membership to MoveOn.org, Air America, Stephanie Miller, et al because I am not going to support outlets that complain that the MSM isn’t doing its’ job in the fair analysis department, but they parrot right-wing talking points about Hillary Clinton without any careful review of Obama’s flimsy record as well.

If Barack Obama were a woman (age and inexperience level included) “she” would be laughed off the national stage as having the hubris to think she was qualified for the country’s highest office.

I agree and do not know why Hillary in that debate did not make more of it herself and keep coming back to that point.

I’ve watched Hillary since she arrived in New York and it is more than fair to say that this primary election is her first “contest.” She got the Dem nomination for Senate uncontested and her first election was primarily against a no-name GOP Congressman who was over his head. This last election was against an even bigger no-name GOPer.

You pick your opponents weakest areas and just hammer them home and do not give in. She gave in too easily on his admission of absentee-Chairman on a foreign affairs committee that does have relevance.

If he is the nominee the many areas Hillary should have cornered Obama on McCain will.

Silver, you brought up good points. I think the answer to your first question as to why Russert did not question the lack of any action taken by BO on the subcommittee is simply 1. - they hate Hillary (unhingled - undisguised) and 2. “they” (MSM corp.
shills)can not wait to rip into the unqualified BOH. He’s going to be shredded, diced, and fried and they are really looking forward to doing it. A piece of cake!
