[Updates] Irrefutable Proof That Obama’s Own District Was Home to 11 Rezko Foreclosed Properties

UPDATE: TWO VIDEOS: The second is a must-see from the NBC affiliate in Chicago. RezkoWatch: “This video is always a valuable—and vivid—reminder of the living conditions in Obama’s district:“

Eleven Rezmar buildings were in the state Senate district Obama represented between 1996 and 2004. Many of the buildings ended up in foreclosure, with tenants living in squalid conditions, the Sun-Times reported last year. In one instance, Rezko’s company left tenants without heat for five weeks. Obama said he was unaware of problems with the buildings and minimized the legal work he’d done. — From the Chicago Sun-Times via District 299 The Chicago Schools Blog.

The senator says he had no indication of any problems with Rezko when he accepted thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from him. — From ABC News via Truthteller’s story here, “It Is “Possible” Obama Was Aware of Rezko’s Financial and Legal Woes.”

Obama said in the interview Monday that he was unaware of the scope of properties owned by Rezmar or the problems surrounding them. He said none of the affected residents personally sought his help and that aides at his state Senate district office did not recall any inquiries. Still, he said it was “possible” that during his tenure in the legislature that a constituent may have written or called his office “saying, ‘We’re in a building, and we’re unhappy with the service here.’”Such problems, he said, would normally be brought to the attention of an alderman or the city’s Housing Department. “Had I known that there were buildings that were in deteriorating or poor condition, that certainly would have given me pause. But I didn’t know,” Obama said. — From the Chicago Tribune.

“I didn’t know,” he says? It’d give you “pause”? Oh really? Explain these maps from the Chicago Sun-Times that show the “Illinois Senate district Barack Obama represented from 1997 to 2002 — the area between the lines below — included 11 Rezmar buildings.” (Click on the images to see the larger version, or go to the Sun-Times page.)obama-map-1-sm.jpgobama-map-2-sm.jpgELEVEN buildings in your district, and you didn’t know about the problems? Or was it that, given a choice between helping your constituents or taking “fixer” money from Tony Rezko, you chose the latter? Here’s what your constituents put up with before those buildings were foreclosed and shut down (leaving your constituents without a roof over their heads). From Truthteller’s exceptional work in his story here, “It Is “Possible” Obama Was Aware of Rezko’s Financial and Legal Woes“:[L]et us listen to constituents of Obama who resided in Rezko’s tenements.  Here is Joann Larkins, a resident of a dilapidated Rezko structure just eight blocks from the palatial mansion Obama jointly purchased with Rezko:

Mrs Larkins, 51, lives just seven city blocks away, in a district where posters advertise “dirt cheap properties” and “foreclosure advice”. She moved there almost a decade ago, taking a subsidised apartment with her 20-year-old daughter and one-year-old grandson in a building that had fallen into neglect when run by Mr Rezko. The family boiled water on the stove and draped plastic sheeting across the windows in an effort to keep warm during the city’s bitter winters, as the heating was not working. Rubbish piled up uncollected and repeated requests for basic repairs were ignored.”It was a terrible place to live: there were a lot of drug dealers and people fighting and getting shot,” Mrs Larkins, a widow who receives invalidity benefit, told The Sunday Telegraph.”The owners never took any interest in the place; they just wanted the rent money. We had to call the city just to get the garbage collected.”The 44-apartment complex was one of 30 low-income housing projects run by Mr Rezko and his partners with funds from the city during the 1990s. By early this decade, many were boarded up as bills and mortgage payments went unpaid, but Mr Rezko moved into the fast-food business, while tenants like the Larkins struggled with the legacy of his management.

Janet Jenkins, a neighbor of another Rezko property in Obama’s state Senate district, also witnessed squalor and crime:

Janet Jenkins witnessed the deterioration of one building that Rezmar co-developed with the Chicago Urban League a dozen years ago. Today, the 12-unit building at 62nd Street and Rhodes is boarded up. And she’s glad.”Oh, absolutely,” said Jenkins, 57, who lives a few doors south of the building. “That building has been a problem to this block for years.”We had numerous complaints. Drug selling. Prostitution. The whole nine yards. Filthy. Deplorable. Rats. Mice. Roaches. Urine. Feces. Name it.”

Thank you Susan, again, relentless pursuit of the truth. I applaud your tireless effort. On my own personal front of trying to get to the truth I have been in personal correspondence with Jim Fetzer, I challenged his choice of anti Hillary articles. Long story short, after a few back and forth emails he offered a suggestion of writing a guest submittal to op/ednews.com, he said that they are looking for pro Hillary articles. Just a suggestion to all of you who would like to make your voice(s) louder.

Thanks, FleaFlicker! When are you going to write another story for us? I love your work.

P.S. EVERYONE, avoid Olbermann tonight. He’s doing one of his pompous, arrogant, bombastic “Special Commentaries.” (Which I soon tired of after he began them, because he was so wordy, too long, and so in love with his own voice.)

‘course, in December, I took Olbermann off my DVD list of shows to tape daily. I’d really gotten tired of the light coverage of news, the long-winded questions to his pets (er, guests), and the Britney Spears crap (which was actually quite cruel).

Ok, I’m not fan of Obama but I am from Chicago and I’ve seen that first video before. What strikes me is how much of the buildings don’t look like Chicago architecture.

Second, for a predominantly black district the video has very few images of black people.

Third, by looking at the gang tats and symbols I can tell those are all gangs from the west coast and not from Chicago. A lot of the photos I’ve seen on the net before the Rezko issue even camp up. Somebody was lazy and pasted together a bunch of images in this video.

Susan,

A really great journalistic coup and getting the facts out, but more than that. Tying it up with a timeline and reason. There is a video on Youtube which shows the devastation of the actual buildings in Obama land that make a complete phony liar of his allegations of “innocence of awareness, blah”The photos are tragic and stunning in their obvious ruin and neglect.

But I congratulate you at getting out the truth, and this is just the beginning. i am grateful for your hard work.

I was wrong about the video i attributed as seen on YouTube. The one shown here is the same.

I heard Obama’s “Caberet” just opened in one of the forclosed buildings and he did not know about it!

A question for you SusanUnPC. After all the goobs of info you’ve gone through, isn’t odd that there are numerous references to questionable activities by people very close to Obama and it is like Obama has been “scrubbed”, cut out of the family photo with a blunt pair of sissors?

And who is witness “CC”?

Comment by Fleaflicker | 2008-03-12 17:01:49

It would be smart to do a series of exposes on these associates. I am working on something that I want to keep under wraps for the time being. But it is taking me much longer than I would normally put into something like this. Hopefully when I am finished it will be worth it.

Comment by TeakWoodKite | 2008-03-12 18:44:07

I have my penny bet in my head.

From all I have read, it is flat out bizarre that in the course of this I have seen Craig Nesbit as spokeman for Exelon, his brother Marty the “owner” of a airport parking company who was sponsored for the minority contract by Emil Jones and Obama is the godfather of Marty’s kid, and in turn Obama calls Emil Jones a “god father”.
The CEO for Habitat.CO is a very close friend of Barak and the Rezko owes the owner Habitat.Co “millions”. And they all sat on the Finance Board or the Hospital Board they all freakin no each other well I would say and it is un-natural for Obama to be even mentioned. Oh yeah Obama was interested in the Metro issue because a bud was connected to the transit board.

I can see many of the spokes but not the hub which is like a “google blur” on a military base.

I enjoy your work.

I have a question on this - wasn’t this the same neighborhood Obama was the community organizer in? And isn’t that a part of his life’s experience that he references as making him qualified to run for Pres?

I’m really not sure if this is the same neighborhood, but if it is and if he was a community organizer there, wouldn’t he still have local contacts with folks who could have told him about the state of these bldgs?

Someone in another post yesterday, succinctly made the point Rezko made millions of dollars off of NOT rehabbing those buildings, Obama tacitly assisting him, at the expense of the well being of his constituents.

Ok, given a Chicago winter, the SURVIVAL of his constituents.

I wonder where Rezko stuck all that money?

I don’t see much point in going after Obama now. He will keep his lead and eventually Clinton will ruin out of steam. All this oppo is coming too late to make any difference, and now it may even be detrimental to the party.

Comment by MarkL | 2008-03-12 15:40:31

Is that satire, Salo?
Obama is burning his bridges now.. there’s little chance he can win in November, given how he is alienating Democrats, not to mention how weak and inexperienced he is. Hillary is doing the right thing

Comment by grannyhelen | 2008-03-12 15:41:23

I disagree on who’s running out of steam - I actually think the O train is slowly pressing its brakes.

Stuff like this has always bothered me about Obama as a candidate. If he gets the nom I’ll vote for him but frankly I’d rather have a full discussion of his record in representing his constituents. To me that’s fair.

Comment by simon | 2008-03-12 16:09:19

If he gets the nom I’ll vote for him

His corruption doesnt bother you?

dcmediagirl wrote an essay about Obama in the general election, have you seen what Fox, and the others, are hitting him with?

And it’s true, btw, Obama has connections to a man with terrorist ties, Auchi, and possibly Rezko, through Syria.

WTH do democrats support a man with terrorist ties, imagine the 9.11 families on that one…

Someone is missing the boat here, all the wishful thinking in the world will not make those actions go away…

Comment by grannyhelen | 2008-03-12 16:19:19

Let’s just say a whole party - i.e., the GOP - entrenched in the corruption that they built bothers me a lot more…

Comment by simon | 2008-03-12 17:26:16

Let’s just say a whole party - i.e., the GOP - entrenched in the corruption that they built bothers me a lot more…

Obama is a democrat, with direct connections to a man who enables terrorist, probably closer than Bush, and a first degree, meaning Obama has no firewall between himself, and the crooks, and can be manipulated, easily.

Wow, I have to disagree with you, vehemently.

I think he presents a much bigger danger than McCain, and a vote for him is the same as a vote for that republican corruption you wish to see dismantled, with the exception Obama will be easier for the bad guys to frighten. Applying Obama’s corruption to the White House, the problem will be exacerbated, won’t it? Obama, of the corrupt Daley/Chicago/Baghdad ring. Sorry, granny, I just don’t think you’re being realistic.

And I think there is a good chance Obama will go to prison.

Why would you want the democratic party associated with Obama?

Does a vote for him in anyway lesson the GOP corruption?

Aren’t you discussing apples and oranges here, thinking a vote for one corrupt man will displace the corruption of another, given both have the same financial supporters?

At the very least, McCain shows some degree of empathy with the voters, Obama does not, Obama STARTED his career corrupt, McCain did not. Psychologically, that makes a significant difference in motivation. I think you are grossly mistaken.

You should research Obama’s history, and Chicago, and the Arab connection. Again, you seem to have a disconnect with terrorism, not only to the American victims, but to the international victims of Auchi. How the hell can the Presdeint of the US take money from Saddam’s former bagman, while the army is trying to win hearts and minds, in Iraq, or even Syria, or Lebannon? How would you feel?

I will work until Obama sees jail.

Why add another criminal to the fire, this one with the least empathy of all?

The least experience, too.

Somehave suggested Obama’s war vote was motivated by Auchi, what about keeping the army in Iraq, since Auchi is making money, there, too?

Given his past history, and Auchi’s, how do you predict Obama will react?

Seriously, what do you think will happen?

Will he be pressured by his financial supporters, his corrupt financial supporters with an overriding interest in Iraq, to keep the army there, against the better interests of the US?

Yes, he will, and they would blackmail him, too.

Comment by simon | 2008-03-12 17:35:34

Again, you seem to have a disconnect with terrorism

I was mistaken with this remark, granny, I in no way can make that assumption about you, and it is incorrect.

I’m sorry.

Yes this is where Obama held court as a community worker with Urban League and Rehab Commission groups,Grants, etc. He was a perfect foil for Rezko to use him to get into the Legislature to grant city, state, federal subsidies for rehabbed low income buildings. So Obama worked it two ways.

One was doing left wing organizing and standing up for low income slum dwellers. Then he and his law firm repped Rezko after tax free subsidies were granted by Illinois legislature. Then Obama took money Rezko fundraised to keep his political career going. Rezko was main fundraiser for Obama.
Rezko was lead fundraiser for 12 of the 17 years Obama and he were friends. Of course, Obama behaves as though he hardly knew him.

Rezko had the Governor in his pocket as the current trial will show as kickbacks to Gov, are just one of the crimes at issue.. Obama’s law firm, who BTW also represented: Real estate deals for community groups. Represented Rezko’s receiving
subsidized tax free govt rehabs, and Obama’s district was involved in 11 buildings that Rezko trashed.

Rezko systematically witheld heat and repairs and for 5 weeks in Chicago, and the entire city was up in arms as Rezko would not provide heat to one of his rehabbed buildings, He was cited for violations as he also refused to repair or maintain buildings that he had received subsidy grant to do just that, Then he refused to make mortgage payments, and allowed many to be foreclosed. Rezko buildings exceeded 35 at one point, and all were scammed.

What happened to his city violation citation for denying heat? Down the road a few months later, he received a $100 fine.

At no time did Obama who was a good friend of Rezko”s object to the fate of the 11 buildings and the thousands of apartments that became empty crack houses.

Also the Community Groups and Urban League, were repped by Allison Davis sr. partner of Obama law firm that handled the “deals” for getting the legal legislative details involved in giving Rezko subsidy grants.

Allison Davis, Obama’s boss ultimately became apartner in Rezko’s firm…Rezmar.]

All of the details, time lime, Obama’s original hire are in Chicago SunTimes articles by investigative reporting team led by Tim Novak in 2005,’06,’07. They can be accessed at: http://www.suntimes.com probe for archives relating to Novak articles. Also Larry Johnson has a good
take on this scandal.

It hasn’t gotten traction as the press has favorewd Obama to an outrageous extent. One reason is plain old fashioned sexism. It’s easy and there are no penalities. Say anything Negative about Obama, and it’s Racism and Al Sharpton and surrogates will shout racism all over the place. The press fear these repercussions, so they are waiting for the Republicans and 527’s to do it for them.

Obama has and will continue to play the race card as he well understands the collective guilt whites are anxious to expunge. He offers them redemption which feels awfully good.

He mis-states,mis quotes, and spins, and no one has really called him out and is now on a “do the math” campaign to leave MI and Fla out of the convention. It’s to his advantage to allow the public to think he’s ahead even if he hasn’t gotten the votes in the big states. He is the caucus king, and is trying hard to keep the 2 states out.

If Florida and MI are not redone so as to convincingly decide a fair representative vote of their states, the Democrats are running towards the cliff.

Howard Dean has mismanaged this situation either through mischief and forethought, or because he’s an Ass. This contretemps could lose the election for Democrats.

This election will be ugly no matter what. Obama is a corrupt tooth fairy who pretends to be the Messiah, and with Oprah and his Harvard cache has been knighted and waits for ultimate coronation.

The process we have been seeing is deplorably sexist as there is little penalty for trashing women in our society. I am not a feminist, but what I have been seeing on TV and the talking heads trashing Hillary, I may actually become one.

Obamatics are removed from factual reality. We’re dealing with hero worship, and lots of black anger at the ready to cry “racism”.Whites seeking miracles and redemption love his message which are the same words used over and over by pols before him..

Reverend Jeremiah Wright who bestowed a Lifetime Achievment honor on Louis Farrakhan has been Obama’s pastor for 20 years. Farrakhan, leader of The Nation of Islam has trashed the Jews repeatedly over the years, yet Obama accepted votes that Farrakhan asked his people to deliver to Obama, which they did. This is a form of anarchic black fascism.

Obama is a complete opportunist and has lied, taken sweetheart personal real estate kickbacks from Rezko. Michelle also was placed on Landmark Commision with Rezko pull, and found their mansion for sale and bought it with Rezko help on no bid at a big cut in asking price including adjacent land which was a Rezko “Transfer”enabling Obama to save hundreds of thousands dollars.

If Howard Dean and the corrupt party elders have their way even if Clinton wins they will block her nomination.

The winds of racism are raging on to a tornado,

Only the Democrats could screw up a “made” election into a firestorm of disenfranchism, hate, and resentment.

Comment by Fleaflicker | 2008-03-12 17:11:54

Please forgive me for asking, but do you have a direct link to back up this statement? It seems to me that if there is hard evidence that “the whole city” was up in arms it would be very difficult for Obama to claim he knew nothing about this.

If I had more time I would just do the research myself. Unfortunately I don’t and would appreciate any assistance you may offer.

Actually, I don’t think it has to do with liberal guilt, I think it has far far far more to do with narcissism.

The white liberal guilt is more Ayers generation, the old Reagan youth, and their children, don’t feel that responsibility.

And the people supporting Obama are not the true democrats, they’re the opposite side of the Ron Paul/Bush supporter coin, personality wise.

Public Burning of Ferraro over at DKos…

I’m seriously disturbed about where this country is headed.

Dkos is a SMALL minority that has apparently morphed into a kook group.

Too bad.

The rest of America sees it for what it is…

There are a lot of really good people trying to solve the problems people like Obama, and Rove create.

During the worst of the elections, in 2004, when Bush and Cheney and Rove were braying, using the same tactics Obama is, right now, the confusion, hopelessness, and spool of doom, I heard about a small group of women, in Kansas, I think it was, who reported the Republican political churches to the IRS, the IRS taking action.

They were middle class women, appalled at the hatred they were seeing, the violation of the law, and they took aciton, no money, no newspapers, just American citizens doing the right thing.

A lot of that goes on, it’s important to remember Kos and the rest are a very very small minority.

People who hate, no matter who they are, are fucked up, somebody elses target. And the closer Rezko cuts, the louder they’ll get, out of fear, and a need to distract.

Expect it.

Comment by simon | 2008-03-12 15:59:19

The other point, in regard to Dkos, sometimes trolls feed the hate, to screw them around.

You might be seeing some of that there, too.

It doesn’t benefit Obama to have hateful acolytes, in the GE, so perhaps they’re trying to purposely provoke the Dkos wommin haters club.

From the sounds of all this Rezko should be sentenced to live in those buildings while he’s bringing them up to code & then you’ll see how fast they get rehabed. I don’t understand why Obama is being painted as the bad guy here, what’d he do? Besides trying to clean up a skank ghetto? As I said before, hi-end developers don’t usually gravitate to these types of projects, they’re usually too busy hustling local govs into granting them tax allocation district status (TADS) so public $$$$$$$$$$$$ meant to go to school boards, etc, gets rerouted to pay for all their infastructure +. Cry me a river.

Comment by simon | 2008-03-12 16:04:30

I don’t understand why Obama is being painted as the bad guy here, what’d he do?

Obama and rezko are financially related, there is question of money, and legal, ethical proprieties.

In addition, Obama failed to represent his constituents, helping his political godfather obtain city contracts, while neglecting the tenants, depriving them of habitable living conditions, for which the taxpayer money was to be used.

I would suppose there may also be an issue of fraud.

And if Obama treats his constituents in this manner what makes people think he will respond to them, as President?

Obama appears to only work for those who pay for his services, his contributors.

It’s too bad he’s $50 million in debt, his attorneys say. I’d make him rehab every one of those buildings gratis — and with him doing the heavy lifting on site every day. (Far better than prison.)

What the 50 mil is in LLC heaven?…and back in Auchi’s accounts?

The banking laws in the UAE are very lax, see no evil, and Auchi is still the main sahreholder in BNP Paribus, right?

This from Nick Cohen, in 2003:

Allow me to introduce you to Nadhmi Auchi. He was charged in the 1950s with being an accomplice of Saddam Hussein, when the future tyrant was acquiring his taste for blood. He was investigated in the 1980s for his part in alleged bribes to the fabulously corrupt leaders of post-war Italy. In the 1990s, the Belgium Ambassador to Luxembourg claimed that Auchi’s bank held money Saddam and Colonel Gadaffi had stolen from their luckless peoples. In 2002, officers from the Serious Fraud Squad raided the offices of one of Auchi’s drug companies as part of an investigation of what is alleged to be the biggest swindle ever of the NHS. With allegations, albeit unproven, like these hanging over him, wouldn’t you think that British MPs would have the sense to stay away?

Imagine this piece of trash near the American presidency?

And why is Obama the candidate of less corruption?

Comment by QuietOne | 2008-03-12 21:16:32

Re all of your comments and SusanUnPC’s comments, too: Why press the arguments here? Why not actively and very publicly demand that Obama be arrested and charged? Why not insist that the media print all of this? Why not call a press conference? I’ve seen press conferences for a lot less serious issues. Why not show photos taken over the next few days in his district at the conference? If I had the evidence I would. Why sit at your computer and let something evil go on?

Interestingly, I paid a visit to Tony Rezko’s wikipedia page yesterday. The only picture on that page is Rezko with Bill and Hillary. A friend of mine tried to put a recent picture of Obama with Rezko or Obama’s mansion, but to no avail. His editing privilege has since been removed. BTW, that page is semi-protected from editing.

This Rezko deal has nothing to do with Clinton. Clinton is not the subject today. You are trolling and making very lame and evasive case which is exactly what empty suit Obama Precious has been famous for.

Then of course Obama takes $625,000 of land from Rita Rezko and pays $104,500 for it. Meet the Nesbits…ala Rezko.

Re: Is Rezko a Lobbyist?
The Nuclear Energy Institute jumped out in front by announcing its voluntary initiative for plant operators to report even small leaks. An Exelon representative told an industry newsletter, Inside N.R.C., that Exelon was “working with Senator Obama’s office to address some technical issues that will allow us to support the legislation.”
Last week, an Exelon spokesman, Craig Nesbit, said the company sought, among other things, new language to specify what types of leaks should be reported, and assurance that enforcement authority remained with the nuclear commission and not state or local governments.
http://www.mydd.com/story/2008/2/15/142618/574

“…He [Obama] invited a group of African-American professionals to the house of Marty Nesbit, who had served as finance chairman of his congressional campaign. Nesbitt is the president of a Chicago parking management company and vice president of the Pritzker Realty Group, part of the Pritzker family empire…He had been friends with Obama for years. Their wives were also close…

Pritzker’s acquaintance with Obama started in the mid-1990s by way of a basketball court at a North Side YMCA, where Obama’s brother-in-law, Craig Robinson, coached one of her children’s teams. Marty Nesbitt, a close Obama friend and Pritzker business associate, also had a child on the team.
“Through Craig and Marty, I was introduced to Barack and Michelle,” Pritzker said, referring to Obama and his wife.
Soon the Obama family was making visits to the Pritzker summer home in Michigan. It was there - she believes during a bonfire on the beach - that Obama first mentioned in 2002 that he was thinking of running for the U.S. Senate in 2004 and wanted her support.

Exelon based in Illinois is country’s largest Nuclear Energy providers.

Obama has taken $227,000.00 from their lobbyist as reported by the NY Times this past few months,

Also true of Obama who lies about lobbyists, his campaign manager Dave Axelrod also worked as lobbyist for Exelon.

When vote came up in Senate to curb loan guarantees to Nuclear providers, Hillary
Clinton voted to do so…and voted YES.

Obama owing Exelon his loyalty, voted against it.

Rezko is in jail and currently on trial. Any details about trial can be read on http://www.suntimes.com, leading chicago paper.

There is great loyalty to Exelon from Camp Obama.

I have shared your concern and it is very reason they created super delegates to void a election catastrophe like that of George McGovern.

It’s one thing to appeal to your own kind (Democrats) and have the swoon over you. That is only half, or less than half, of the electorate. It is quite another to think that translates into the balance of the electorate.

Obama has no cross over appeal while Hillary does, as does McCain.

Jarrett brings two decades of Chicago political experience including as a former aide to Mayor Richard Daley and his appointee to head the Chicago Transit Authority. Jarrett now serves as chairwoman of the Chicago Stock Exchange Board and will rise to CEO of the Habitat Co. at the end of the month. As a good friend, she can speak bluntly to Obama.

He also lives in Hyde Park and has occasionally played basketball with Obama–most recently at the 40th birthday party of Martin Nesbitt, president of Chicago-based PRG Parking Management and another informal adviser. Also at that party was Jim Reynolds, chairman and CEO of Loop Capital, who also provides regular counsel.

Hillary and Bill Clinton have made a significant issue about how the press is treating Hillary unfairly in their hyper-critical reporting on her and their “softball” reporting on Barak Obama. Hillary maintains she has been fully investigated by the media and Barak hasn’t! As the Tony Rezko trial begins in Chicago, Clinton and her surrogates are linking Obama to Rezko and the media is speculating about whether Obama will be called to testify as a witness in the case. Obama has always admitted he received $85,000 in contributions from Rezko which Obama has now donated to charity rather than keep. Yet the civil fraud trial of Bill Clinton for defrauduing Hillary’s largest donor in 2000 into giving her campaign more than $1.2 million, pending in Los Angeles courts since 2003, is now preparing for a November, 2008 trial. The discovery that is now proceeding after a February 21 hearing, and the pending trial, have NEVER been announced by the mainstream media. Hillary was able to extricate herself as a co-defendant in the case in January, 2008 after years of appeals to be protected by the First Amendment from tort claims arising out of federal campaign solicitations she made. Her abuse of the intent of California’s anti-SLAPP law after the California Supreme Court refused to dismiss her from the case in 2004 is emblematic of her contempt for the Rule of Law. Hillary will be called as a witness in both discovery and the trial according to the trial court Judge who so-advised Hillary’s attorney David Kendall when he dismissed Hillary as a co-defendant in 2007. A subpoena is being prepared this month and will be served personally on Hillary, along with Chelsea, Pa Gov. Ed Rendell, Al Gore and other well known political and media figures. Yet the media has refused to report about this landmark civil fraud case- brought by Hillary’s biggest 2000 donor to her Senate race, regarding allegations that were corroborated by the Department of Justice in the criminal trial of Hillary’s finance director David Rosen in May, 2005. That indictment and trial was credited as resulting from the civil suit’s allegations by Peter Paul, the Hollywood dot com millionaire Bill Clinton convinced to donate more than $1.2 million (according to the DOJ prosecutors and the FBI) to Hillary’s Senate campaign as part of a post White House business deal with Bill. The media - except for World Net Daily- has also suspiciously refused to report on Hillary’s last FEC report regarding her 2000 Senate campaign, filed in January 30, 2006. In a secret settlement of an FEC complaint by the plaintiff in Paul v Clinton, Peter Paul, the FEC fined Hillary’s campaign $35,000 for hiding more than $720,000 in donations from Paul, and it required Hillary’s campaign to file a 4th amended FEC report. In that report Hillary and her campaign again hid Paul’s $1.2 million contribution to her campaign and falsely attributed $250,000 as being donated by Paul’s partner, Spider Man creator Stan Lee, who swore in a video taped deposition he never gave Hillary or her campaign any money. Lee did testify to trading $100,000 checks with Paul to make it appear he gave $100,000 to Hillary’s campaign (admission of a felony) but none of that has been reported by the “overly critical” media! Where is the outrage from Obama that the press is engaging in a double standard relating to his possible role in the Rezko trial and his refunding the $85,000 contributed to his campaign by Rezko- which Obama has always admitted taking. The media makes no mention of Hillary’s role as a witness in Bill’s fraud trial for defrauding Hillary’s largest donor- and Hillary’s refusal to refund the $1.2 million she illegally received from Paul, which she has denied taking from Paul ever since the Washington Post asked her about Paul and his felony convictions from the 1970’s before her first Senate election in 2000? Naive Americans ask why America is so hated around the world. Actually it is not. What America is, is envied, and all those, as I have pointed out in previous posts, that wave a banner saying “Yankee Go Home” (as I witnessed in my youth in Cuba), and wearing T-shirts of that monster Che Guevara that murdered so many thousands of innocent people, in cold blood, before a cold concrete wall of “PAREDON” firing squads - without any of those “human rights”, “legal niceties”, and other “creature comforts” Obama and the Democrats wish to offer Islamist terrorists - what these people really want in their innermost hearts of hearts, is rather to “Go Home With The Yankee” - as proven by the over one hundred thousands Cubans (once proud Revolutionaries) of the Mariel Boat Lift of Jimmy Carter days, and all the “Sandinista”, Central Americans, and Mexicans half-breeds pouring from south of the border - not to mention the rest of the world - like an unstoppable Tsunami of “cucarachas”!

I have often wondered if most Mexicans so “Idolize” Che and Fidel Castro, why in the hell they sneak into the “Imperialist Yankee Pig’s Lair” (the US) instead of immigrating “en-masse” to Fidel’s “Haitian” paradise in Cuba! After all, after almost 50 years of being a Revolutionary, Communist, and Socialist “Paradise”, the once prosperous and affluent Cuba - the “Pearl of the Antilles of the Spanish Crown” - looks more like Haiti (literally), even ethnically! Ninety five per cent of the whites of European, Spanish descent, have emigrated to Miami and elsewhere, leaving the island to impoverished, uneducated, and indigent blacks and mulattoes. So much for Obama’s “socialism”. Shall we call that the “browning of Cuba”???

But what most people around the world feel about America is disgust and contempt! An Iraqi will chance being killed and proudly show his purple finger to show he voted in the first “FREE” elections the blood of our American Heroes bought those SOBs; yet if it’s raining on election day here in America voters will not go out to vote…Oh my! How fickle!

I learned from a Palestinian I knew 20 years ago, long before 9/11, that to the Arab mind-set: “The American male is an over-sexed, overfed, effeminate creature that has been ‘emasculated’ by comfort and luxury, and even let mischievous women do as they please, and are all but prostitutes (his quote) and wanton women”, and that America - proven so true by the “commie” Democrats and their allies in the liberal media during this Iraq War- “do not have the stomach or backbone to defend our democracy”….much less the world!

In their view America, in spite of all its financial, strategical, and technical superiority, it’s but a “Paper Tiger” - step on it’s tail or its paw, and it will run back whining back home, in defeat, with all its gadgets, firepower, and much touted superiority, with its tail between it’s legs, sucking its thumb…as it did in Vietnam!!!

That is why the gnats of the world dare stand up to America!!! Look at Castro…dying of old age and hemorrhoids on his “Throne” with billions of dollars in his Swiss bank accounts, while assholes in America (from Michael Moore, Harry Belafonte, to Michelle Obama - too many to name) make the “Cuban Butcher of the Revolution” into some kind of a “hero” or demigod … even as they are trying to make out of Obama! (puke!)

I see the Obama presidency looming….I see Obama as president selling Israel out… I see him normalizing relations with Fidel the Tyrant and paying homage to him before he dies. I see his wife wearing a Che T-shirt holding hands with Belafonte, and Hugo Chavez, Daniel Ortega, and Ahmadinejad in triumph, while raising the clenched fist of the Black Panthers and the communists for all the world to see! And as in the Fall of Rome, we the “suicidal lemmings” would have been the ones that granted her and her husband that power - in our cowardice and banality!!!

Perhaps, America, you deserve no better fate

Althor..

You make some very interesting points..and I am glad I took the time to read what you wrote..as i can understand your arguments..at least some of them..
since I see the “Good” side of America too..even tho I don’t like many of the Actions and policys of The Government..and it always saddens me to see desperate Boat people being sent back..That is not the America I believe in..

ALL The world leaders come to POWER..”FOR THE PEOPLE’
or on the Backs of the People..

This is the Chinese Year of the RAT..not the Year of the Tiger..Its the year of RAT SHIT..Not Gnat Shit..

Its the HOUR of POWER..One hand at a time..
