Well, kudos to his campaign, he sure put that to rest - haven't heard that meme in months. By stoking the fires of race hatred, he successfully painted the Clintons as racist opportunists, facts and history to the contrary, pulling in a solid majority of the AA vote in southern states. I believe his strategy was to eliminate all challengers before less savory aspects of his resume became public knowledge - at which point the left would back him as he painted McCain, in turn, as racist. So much for a "different" pol, a "uniter", a new savior to lead us from the fires of partisanship into the promised land of mutual love and respect. But pull away the curtain and he's just another sleazy Chicago dealmaker, brutally crushing friends, mentors, fellow partisans in the pursuit of power. Sheep go to heaven, goats go to hell.
