I wish he had mentioned all the other stellar diplomats who backed up her Ireland foreign policy experience: Prime Minister John Ahern, Gerry Adams, and George Mitchell. Isn’t it amazing that he gets a pass on everything, and she and her surrogate literally have to fight to get a positive point across? So bizarre, but he was tough and clear like Hillary.

Most people did not believe Amanpour is a real journalist since some stunts she pulled on CNN this past summer. She is a far cry from objective. I’m on here to hear facts and information, but I feel like this site is becoming exactly what it’s not supposed to be — SPIN.

I do know that our media is rightly ridiculed in most Western European countries (outside of maybe Italy during the Berlisconi era) as being American-centered; leaving our citizens very ill informed on a wide variety of global issues. Who is “most people?” I’ve been watching Amanpour for years and she is a first class journalist. She’s one of the very few who’ve had the courage to speak out against the corporate news network owners who tell their reporters what to say and how to frame it. If you’re really here for “facts and information,” try keeping an open mind and not using phrases like “most people.”
I’m almost beginning to be unhappy I’m not in a contested state, so my potential non-vote for Obama matters.

How is it that this mis-statement by Hillary is seen by pundits, including Andrea Mitchell in this interview - as something that “challenges her credibility”? Yet the press seemed eager to move on from the Wright story, even though the fact that Obama sat in that church for 20 years listening to a pastor that often spewed divisive, hateful words - a storyline that cuts to the very heart of Obama’s campaign of “hope” and “unity” and “judgement”? How can Andrea Mitchell sit there and actually believe that this Bosnia story is worse than the Wright story in terms of revealing a candidate’s true nature? I’m disgusted!
How many times has Obama changed his story on Wright, Rezko, everything else? All these people have an axe to grind with Hillary because they know she actually has the audacity/gonads to do what she says she will. Obama won’t do a freaking thing as president and they know it. He’ll capitulate. He’ll hem, haw and stall and nothing will ever get done. Meanwhile, the infrastructure of our country will continue to crumble, the poor will continue to struggle, those without quality health care will still be without quality health care. An Obama presidency along with a democratic congress will bring us nothing except maybe higher taxes. The corruption will continue, the treasury will continue to be bankrupt, and our national debt will never be paid.
