this is a great video: not only is it timely; it is apt. for here is the bilge obama is leaking in north carolina:

http://www.charlotte.com/540/story/554481.html

I quote:

GREENSBORO –Sen. Barack Obama said Wednesday that his chief rival, Sen. Hillary Clinton, was too closely tied to the Washington status quo to bring about change.
“She takes more money from lobbyists and special interests than any candidate, including John McCain,” the Democratic presidential candidate told about 2,400 people at a town hall meeting in Greensboro’s War Memorial Auditorium. “That shows she doesn’t have the sense that things need to change in Washington.”

Why does he insist on lying to the voters of North Carolina?

Comment by Douglas | 2008-03-28 09:59:14

He’s not lying.
He is when he says “I don’t take money from special interests or lobbyists”
…but he’s not lying to the voters of North Carolina when he says “She takes more money from lobbyists and special interests than any candidate, including John McCain”

Yet when Hillary suggests that McCain, with 21 years in the Senate, is more qualified than Obama, with 3, she’s accused of undercutting a fellow Democrat. It becomes a huge story which dominates in the media for days.

Obama can say anything he wants about Hillary, and the media nods and agrees. If Hillary sneezes in Obama’s direction, she’s a racist and a bitch and she needs to WITHDRAW NOW.

Yep, that’s a perfect video. Great job! Obama is one helluva hypocrite. The audacity/mendacity of hype.

Fitting video of for Mr. Clean, the “I am better than thou”candidate, brought to you by…..the divine trinity: Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., David Axelrod and
uncle Dick, whose 2005 Energy Bill, Mr Clen, the One so proudly voted Yea for it gave him tons and tons of cash from his lobbyst friends in Chicago; (all that ethanol….) and so on.

Talking about Mr. Clean, did Obama practice for his crossed arms posture during McPeak’s “remarks” ?

Comment by mimi | 2008-03-28 10:55:49

He’s already posing for Mt. Rushmore and the $3 dollar bill.

Great video. Probably one of the best I’ve seen.

BTW maybe you’d be interested in this story.

A CALL FOR LATINO DEMOCRATIC UNITY….FROM DEAN

Insiders tell me that Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chair Howard Dean has been meeting with Latino DNC members asking them to make a call for Democratic unity to Latino voters. Dean must be concerned that a significant portion of the Latino Democratic vote, which favors Clinton over Obama by a two-to-one margin, will prove hard to deliver should Obama take the nomination….

Comment by jwrjr | 2008-03-28 01:16:37

Dean wants Latino unity? Splendid idea. Instead of 2/3 of the Latinos favoring Clinton, wouldn’t 100% be better?

Comment by Andy | 2008-03-28 01:32:21

latinoDem:

Thanks for the link. That’s interesting.
Dean should indeed worry.

These people are slime! My Independent registration come November is looking better and better all the time.

They are determined to give this fraud the nomination. I will personally see to it that these people never get my support again.

WOW! Bravo! Two thumbs up

- way up BO’s 98 lb weakling ass!

How about that arrogant pose he strikes all of the time?! “I kickback scammed a mansion and you didn’t - so there!”

Comment by Andy | 2008-03-28 01:38:09

How about that arrogant pose he strikes all of the time?!

Especially when looking at Hillary in the debates : a sure sign of an inferiority complex.
What happened to “body language ” these days ?

Has anyone heard that the Gov. of TN –the same that
“put out a proposal for a “pre-convention” in June 1
for SD to align themselves; repeated exactly what
Pelosi said on ABC? The cigar-smoke filled back-room politics is happening now.

mimi might have a point when in a prebvious thread wrote:

“Senator Obama talked as if he has already won.”

Maybe the fix is in. I’ve had a bad feeling about this man’s candidacy from the get-go. Now this is a conspiracy theory I could get into.

Comment by mimi | 2008-03-28 11:00:10

I’ve been saying this for quite awhile. My paranoia quotient is registering on the Richter Scale. We are seeing something very scary play out right before our eyes.

sorry this is ot, did you see the quote from BO on the veiw that are posted at talk left? little gems like
“I’m not vetting my pastor,” Obama told “The View”, “I didn’t have a research team during the course of 20 years to go pull every sermon he’s given and see if there’s something offensive that he’s said.”
“Had the reverend not retired, and had he not acknowledged that what he had said had deeply offended people, and were inappropriate and mischaracterize what I believe is the greatness of this country,” Obama explained, “Then I wouldn’t have felt comfortable standing in the church.”

Any day now they’re going to proclaim Flineo a genius. For one very good reason. :)

Comment by JoeySky | 2008-03-28 09:05:13

I wonder if he felt uncomfortable when he lied. It’s so fluent, so smooth.

Comment by barbh | 2008-03-28 10:21:43

Most psychopaths are very good at that kind of lying, so are most serial liars. As often as he lies, he is at the very least a serial liar. First he never heard Wright say controversial things, then he did, and then he didn’t it seems once again. Ridiculous.

Comment by speaktruth | 2008-03-28 11:30:11

And the smoothness and seeming candor when he tells what we know are lies since he contradicts his statements, confirms yet again that we can never trust his statements.
One good thing is that the Dems are starting to get the idea that they can’t count on our votes, to not take for granted Hillary’s base, that we are a formidable presence, and that they need us.
Unbelievable that it’s taken so long.
It’s important to keep up the pressure, otherwise they think that the whole world is Obama supporters.
Media does try to give that impression.

[...] Obama: Talks Economy, But Takes Subprime Companies’ Money (by SusanUnPC at No Quarter) [From the Clinton campaign:] On Monday, the Obama campaign responded to Hillary unveiling a comprehensive plan to deal with the housing crisis by attacking her for taking contributions connected to subprime lenders. Campaign manager David Plouffe said: “If we’re really going to crack down on the practices that caused the credit and housing crises, we’re going to need a leader who doesn’t owe those industries any favors.” As it turns out, those were just words… Today, Senator Obama gives an economy speech followed by a fundraiser at - you guessed it - one of the top 10 issuers of subprime loans in America, Credit Suisse. In fact, Senator Obama has taken more money from the top 10 issuers of subprime loans than BOTH Senator Clinton and Senator McCain. Click through for a detailed listing.  And there’s a video. That ‘Color of Money’ pose reminds me of photos of ‘il Duce’ - Benito Mussolini.

If Obama gets elected, it oughta be an interesting four years, or ten years, or maybe even thirty or forty years. How old’s Mugabe? He came in on a platform of reform too. True reform can take a long time. A long, long time.

Luckily, Obama will inherit Bush’s cool new super-unitary executive powers.
