re obama never talking substance - he does sometimes - when he repeats hillary’s policy positions and pretends he came up with them.

“obama should demonstrate leadership by allowing the delegates (the will of the people) to choose his vice president.” - the delegates chosen by intimidation, bullying, cheating, and “losing” hillary sign in sheets at texas caucuses? the delegates chosen by busing underage kids into iowa? the delegates chosen by the msm ensuring that people didn’t find out about wright before they voted? the delegates chosen by states other than michigan and florida? the “will of the people” is not as you describe.

and it is awfully generous - sarcasm - to propose a “solution” based on how “his vice president” is selected. last i heard, he’s not the nominee yet.

and by the way, your solution is a way, you say, to ensure a democratic victory. millions of us do not want a democratic victory if that means obama.

re the anti-clinton faction being an ugly side of the obama campaign - agree.

however, obama himself has encouraged that ugliness and demonstrated the absolute worst kind of so-called leadership. he is very good at convincing people that he is a good guy and it is just others doing the bad stuff. not the case!

i know you disagree. but a snake is a snake. (take a look at the alice palmer situation for some insight).

nbc already has horrible ratings. and i’ll certainly never watch them again. but some might come back if they do the right thing.

i sure miss the days when meet the press was actually a credible program, when i could watch the nightly news without screaming at the tv, and when i could read the paper without being bombarded with propaganda. those days are gone. so i watch sports and seek out news on the net. the rest of the time my shiny new hdtv is off. i bet advertisers don’t like tv’s turned off.

i think the dnc has finally taken that one step too far and crossed the line they had only approached in the past. they think we will just go along, as we have done in the past. but once the line is crossed, it is crossed. no longer will i have any trust whatsoever in the party.

this year i vote AGAINST obama - no matter who the opposition. in future years, i evaluate candidates as individuals but give no extra credit for being a dem. if dean and the rest of the crooks are still running the party after this year, i’ll be sure to vote AGAINST whoever they put up, no matter who and no matter who the opponent.

there comes a point when one must take a stand. i’m doing it now.

Maybe we could start a “Beans For Hillary” donation drive.

Who the hell do these people think they are? Isn’t this supposed to be a Democracy? I have never seen anything like it–except the build up to the war and the coronation of “W” the first time around. But the unanimity of this push for Obama. And based on what?! Look at his flimsy and unethical record! I just don’t get it. Why would they insist on such a flawed and damaged candidate and forcing the rest of the Democratic Party over a cliff with him. This constant refrain of “she has to quit” is beyond belief. I am going to PA to campaign for her–we have to fight this injustice with ACTION!! And if they try to force him on us without FL & MI having a say, it’s time for a mass PROTEST!! We need to start thinking of powerful responses to that kind of coup.

Supposedly, Kerry and Dodd both belong to the Bilderberg Group–which from all available information is a “New World Order” group dedicated to using all their illicit power to dissolve nations into a One World Government and dedicated to shaping all the common folk into a uniform mold. That is a conspiracy theory, of course, but one that seems to be born out by the facts. What better way to get people to “Group Think” than with a multiracial “inspiring orator”, or, if you prefer, a “flimflam puppet”.

I voted for Kerry in the last election without thinking too much about it because Bush was such a disaster and such a totally repugnant character. So I didn’t pay much attention to the Swiftboating attacks on Kerry. Now I’m interested, and actually checked out the book “Unfit for Command”. There is an interesting quotation from Rear Admiral Roy F. Hoffman, USN (Retired), a former Swiftboater,

“I do not believe John Kerry is fit to be commander in chief of the armed forces of the United States. This is not a political issue. It is a matter of his judgement, truthfulness, reliability, loyalty, and trust-all absolute tenets of command.”

So if Kerry is not fit, then I must conclude his surrogate, Obama, is not fit either.
