Apropos Fleaflicker’s Indictment of the MSM
By SusanUnPC on April 2, 2008 at 11:10 PM in Hillary Clinton, Media, Obamedia
Fleaflicker leveled the Obamedia today. Jon Stewart weighed in last night:
Don’t miss Fleaflicker’s “Anti-Hillary Media Bias Proven!”

Dang. I was going to post this tomorrow. I’ll cross post to you.
Too funny. Dang Democracy. It gets in the way all the time!
I can’t get the video to play right now. Can you?
Plays fine for me!
Hey Fleaflicker, Uppity & SusanUnPC, what about Chris Matthews holding an event for Obama at UPenn. Does that smell right to you? Will he be holding an event for Hillary as well? I wonder. I know that idiot is from PA, but how can he technically, being a so-called news guy from MSNBC, hold a special little event for a candidate. He obviously did, but isn’t this the most egregious of his on-air bias? How can MSNBC support such out and out bias? Aren’t rules being broken here?- Please explain it to me because I can’t see how he can get away with this. Everyplace Hillary has been, Obama shows up too. Ellen, The View etc…Obviously Obama is trying to reach women, but a TV personality, no a network, holding a special event for one candidate. Not right!!!
McCain has been scheduled for a college event also.
Hillary has been invited but has not accepted the invitation yet. Don’t know what she will do.
I left a comment on Jack Cafferty’s blog (it didn’t last too long), telling Jack that instead of Gloria Borger constantly saying “here’s what Obama’s campaign says” all the time, she should just wear a name tag that says “Official Obama Campaign Spokesperson”.
The funny thing about Cafferty is that his shtick is that he’s an old wizened curmudgeon who criticizes whoever he feels like, but you can’t post anything critical on his blog.
I can’t bear to look at Cafferty’s constant grimace. He has a great face for radio. He loves to harp on Hillary and the subject could be totally non-related to her but his question will be about her. I think he thinks his willy will fall off if a woman becomes President. We can only hope so.
Yep…He could do a Great Prep H. Commercial.
What Willy..on that Wonker..?
Edward Furrow Brows.
.Good Nite Chet..Good Nite David..
Good Nite Larry..Good Nite Susan. Goodnite Jimbob ..Good nite Uppity..Good Nite Shadow..
Thank you, Jon Stewart. Is it me, or do you notice how everything is ‘Hillary’s fault.’ Gee, how about the notion that Sen. Obama is blocking any efforts at a revote in MI or FL is killing the party.
So glad Jon called these pretentious pundits on the news on their crap — oh yeah, real unbiased reporting from these fools.
That video is great, and I also have noticed of late the “it’s Hillary’s fault” memo being pushed by Democratic “leaders” and such. It’s just a riff on the Republican “Blame Bill” approach they mastered over the years.
9/11? Bill’s fault.
Somalia? Bill, again.
The restaurant screwed up my lunch order? Damn you, Bill.

Recall John Avarois (sp?) at Americablog’s election loss scenario. If Obama loses the nomination, it’s because Hillary stole it. If Obama wins the nomination and loses the general election, it’s Hillary’s fault.
It’d be hilarious if it weren’t true.
Stoopid democracy. Hulk SMASH!!!
LOL!!
Oh my, does this mean that all those young Hillary-Hating, Obama-Lovin boyz are gonna get upset with John Stewart? After all, he, while not praising Hillary, has not trashed her and that means that he’s a Hillary shill.
Inflicting a hack like Borger on it’s viewers is an insult that CNN insists on continuing.
Cafferty? Well his curmudgeonly schtick was scuttled the minute he became an Obama cheerleader. Curmudgeons don’t much like anyone and his dislikes seem to only seek out Senator Clinton.
They know who signs their paychecks. You do have to wonder how they can call themselves journalists. All they do is steno the talking points. Its so funny that Borger covers the Clinton campaign, but always reports Obama talking points for us.
Watching the oil company hearings, it occurred to me Bush, and Cheney, and staffs, the whole media political infrastructure, thinks just like Wall Street, just like some mediocre kook CEO of Merrill Lynch, say.
Anyone who works there knows what I mean.
And if you understand HOW Wall Street thinks, it’s faults, it’s brittle, faux mediocre provincial intellectualism parading as power, you know why this country has failed, particularly in Iraq.
The Wall Street head is the Washington head, bad at business, and policy.
These are the men behind Cheney, and these are the men behind Obama. They are simplistic, untrained and lack significant skill sets, they are the culmination of the flotsam that floated at the top of the Reagan 80’s soup, their adolescent notions of eternal unchallenged limitless power, and governance finally meeting it’s Waterloo in reality, done in by their FLAMING incompetence.
Lobbyists make up Cheney’s staff, McCain’s too.
It is this crew that tells men like Cafferty what to write, those editors, and superiors.
And, speaking of mooose poop, it’s as if a giant of a moose walked into the Wall Street/New York head, and just DUMPED.
There can be no Democracy without an impartial media. We haven’t had that since media elites swapped their integrity for a big paycheck.
As our freedoms are eroded we are not informed or warned by a media that cares about nothing except their own inflated salaries and access to the seats of power. Our betrayal by the press is nearly complete while they still prattle on about their 1st Amendment rights. Unaware that with the right comes the responsibility.
And while the rest of the country, outside their wealthy, elitist little bubble struggles to get by they make themselves co-conspirators with those corrupt individuals in and out of government that cheerfully destroy all that America was intended to be. Not always the shining beacon we want it to be, often failing to rise to the standards we must insist upon. We are a work in progress; a country that “aspires” and that in and of itself is a worthwhile endeavor. Not as “good” as some believe it is and not as bad as others think.
And while our media and the elected officials that they enable to lie to us feast at their trough, we are seeing, quite plainly if anyone cares to look, that we are being betrayed on a daily, no on an hourly basis by those whose job it is to inform us.

So can I go back to watching The Daily Show now? Because I stopped–he started doing the Obama love, trash Hillary stuff, as the MSM does–and not spend time on dissecting the MSM’s incompetence. Before I got totally pissed at him I thought I should lay off the show and chill. I had to stop reading many web sites for the same reason and didn’t want to go down that road with Stewart. Someone give me a head’s up on how this show is doing.

Sorry about my dbl post, although one had an addition. I thought I stopped the original in time.
Yay Jon Stewart! Thanks for showing this, Flea!
Oops! I mean, thanks for showing this, Susan!

Obama is like Grecian Formula to Jack Cafferty. He thinks his support for BO makes him seem young and with-it. Like, he can “get down” and “rap” with the younger generation.
