Go Rocky Hill.! Sock him.

Comment by Therese | 2008-04-16 19:49:27

I am so deeply disappointed in the questions being asked tonight. This is just a blatant rehashing of old inflammatory news in order to get ratings. What a crock of shit.

Comment by Mrjonessr | 2008-04-16 20:01:26

Glad they got off of those same ole comments, Obama is trying to take the high road ,but the Media today has no integrity.

Let’s say a prayer or send out Buddhist metta to our girl; whatever works for you.

Let’s say “NO” to blogger boy sexism, the big media gang rape, Obama’s racial politics, and selective disenfranchisement of voters.

Comment by Amanda | 2008-04-16 19:03:19

They have rules on this one. Time, and not applauding from the audience. Obama, first lol.

Comment by Talktruth | 2008-04-16 19:02:36

Yep, they padded the audience with BO supporters.

Gibson…blah blah blah

Hillary in Green announced first. Looks good.

Obama blue tie. Ugly bastard

Obama speaks first. It’s been a long strange trip we’re on. Lots of frustration. No gas money to find a job. No bitterness yet. Blah blah blah

Comment by Uppity | 2008-04-16 19:15:53

Somebody needs to rip that friggin’ black suit off of him. Does not this man ever wear anything but black? This is not a comforting thought.

Comment by Linda | 2008-04-16 20:19:22

I agree with you totally. Hillary looks rested and beautiful. Obama is an ugly, disgusting bastard.

Comment by Linda | 2008-04-16 20:25:03

This is a charming video. Hillary was a beautiful little girl and she is a gorgeous mature woman. It is also interesting that her life is an open book compared to Obama who is the Mystery Man.

Comment by Melissa | 2008-04-16 19:06:38

WHOA she kicked butt on the opening statement! He is still half ass explaining his bitter comments! Go Hillary!

NEVER TAKE BO AS YOUR RUNNING MATE, FOR OBVIOUS REASONS!!!

Comment by Talktruth | 2008-04-16 19:10:14

What is audience tracking?

Comment by Fleaflicker | 2008-04-16 19:11:45

Gibson: Both candidates appeal disproportionately to different types of voters. Fight it out but pledge to take the other as the running mate.

Obama: It’s premature so far to discuss running mates. Does he have sexual problems?

We have all of these problems, I can’t think about anything other than everyone will be supporting the Democratic ticket.

Gibson: Shouldn’t the original Article 2 system work, where the person with the second amount of votes becomes VP?

Hillary: She will support whoever wins. Unite the Democratic party.

Comment by Amanda | 2008-04-16 19:12:21

Ohhh, nooo, here we go with the bitter question.

Comment by Uppity | 2008-04-16 19:19:41

Yeah that was stupid. The bitter question didn’t belong in this for Chrissakes.

Annnnnnnd as I write this, Thug just said how clinton called him condescending, which he is. So I take back the statement that Bitter didn’t belong in here. Jesus that guy is slime. SHe owes him one.

Comment by Eurogirl70 | 2008-04-16 19:13:54

yeah Obama. Hillary mentions the desire of our forefathers and then you have to work it in for yourself.

Hillary Clinton is a classy act. Obama for damn sure is a spoiled brat and you can be sure that while he talks about unity during these debates he has done nothing but divide and rip this party apart.

Oh yeah, I “mangled” what I wanted to say…..won’t be the last time.

Why have you been holding on to your religion for the past 20 years if only people who are bitter hold onto their religious affiliations.

Screw you!

Comment by Talktruth | 2008-04-16 19:14:07

Charlie, I can’t possibly say what I really meant, which is people are worshipping God because they’re bitter, shooting guns because they’re bitter, not voting for me because they’re bitter. I’ll say the opposite, if you don’t mind. Thank you.

Comment by Amanda | 2008-04-16 19:14:30

Comment by Kevin | 2008-04-16 19:20:30

Okay, the “can’t be condescending to people of faith” was a gimme… he left his guard down -right or wrong, the Wright controversy is there…(he should anticipate an immediate following jab)

Comment by Kevin | 2008-04-16 19:21:55

See… he didn’t anticipate a natural, reflexive jab. Hillary retorts…

Comment by SusanUnPC | 2008-04-16 19:20:38

Comment by SusanUnPC | 2008-04-16 19:21:22

He’s lecturing her now … trying to beat her down … bad move, Barry. You look mean and low.

Comment by Kevin | 2008-04-16 19:28:20

What’s w/ the presumptive “beat down”? They’re “debating” or more to the point - trying so show why they’re the better (job) candidate.

They’re both going to put their individual foot forward. Though… so far, I’d have to say she’s got a slight (expected) edge in the debate. So far she’s doing better in this one than in the previous… IMHO

O.M.F.G - Did Charlie Gibson actually just try to balance out an attack re: Wright by asking Hillary about the rest of the church?????

I’m shocked.

Comment by Talktruth | 2008-04-16 19:20:54

Telling people they’re stupid doesn’t help pay the bills, either.

Comment by Fleaflicker | 2008-04-16 19:20:56

Gibson to Obama: The Bitter question

Don’t you think people think that is patronizing.

Obama: I make frickin mistakes. Get over it. Now he talks all flowery about how bad things are. The point he was making was that people feel like Washington isn’t listening to them then they find refuge in religion and voting about guns. because they are frustrated. People are bitter because they are getting wedgies? People are angry. Not bitter.

Hillary: Granddaughter of a factory worker. Active in methodist church. Her family wasn’t clinging to religion when Washington didn’t listen to them. People don’t cling to guns when they are frustrated with the government.

She understands why people are offended by SnObama’s remarks. But despite their frustration they are looking for leadership.

George S: Richardson call: She said Obama can’t be elected. Does she think Obama can beat McCain.

Hillary: Democratic candidate will beat McCain. Praises McCain but says he has wrong ideas about America. Obama can win but she can do a better job. She will be the best President and the strongest candidate.

Obama: I am the better candidate. Now to get on Hillary. He can’t be condescending toward people of faith because he is a person of faith. Gun owners love me. Hillary is beating a dead horse. It isn’t helping people pay bills. Brings up the baking cookie comment.

Oh… and Obama is NOT wearing a flag pin.

Comment by Kevin | 2008-04-16 19:24:22

And he should be wearing a pin why? Oh, I guess Hillary is wearing a pin because she knows that’s the better political play, regardless of how she feels about the necessity of said pin????

Comment by beebop | 2008-04-16 21:24:02

Actually, she wasn’t wearing a pin ;)

Comment by TeresaINPa | 2008-04-16 20:01:53

Exactly. I thought the irony amusing as well.

Comment by Mechan | 2008-04-16 19:20:57

Comment by Eurogirl70 | 2008-04-16 19:21:40

I can’t wait for Bill Richardson to have a sexual harassment lawsuit leveled against him

Yeah Obama, you bring in people of faith like Donnie McClurkin on the campaign stump. (I got cured from being gay)

As for gun owners, my understanding is that it is against the law inside of the city of Chicago to own a handgun….so it is interesting that he references gun owners in his home constituency.

isn’t interesting that the question was about who could win, and Obama has to go back to mean old Clinton calling him out for his comments. (and rightfully so!!)

Comment by Mechan | 2008-04-16 19:22:01

she should have put her flag pin on….that would have been great

Comment by Psychodrew | 2008-04-16 19:23:48

Comment by Uppity | 2008-04-16 19:26:45

Why doesn’t he just admit the guy is a psycho and get it over with. The end.

Oh cripes now they are asking her about Rev Wright, what the hell are they doing?

Comment by Fleaflicker | 2008-04-16 19:25:14

Hillary: We need to get enough votes to win in November. Repubs jumped on SnObama’s comments. My record is much better than him. I have a proven record. I respect people.

Gibson: Race speech question. Never heard Wright say that crap? But rescinded the invitation to him when he announced for nomination. Why did it take so long.

Obama: He didn’t see or hear the remarks on Youtube. I have discussed this extensively. These comments are objectionable. But the snippets aren’t Wright. The church provides comfort. What i tried to do was lie about all this crap and hoodwink you bunch of white folks. It’s been working pretty well so far.

Comment by TeresaINPa | 2008-04-16 19:27:08

Comment by TeresaINPa | 2008-04-16 20:11:32

yes we hire our own and they work for us. It is a very democratic set up. The members vote on EVERYTHING top to bottom.

some off brand churches are owned by the pastor him/herself.
I could call myself Reverend TeresaInPa and start my own church and I would still be a protestant church leader.

Obama, Hillary has lived in the public spotlight for the past 20+ years. She has been fully vetted. For him to say that anything about Clinton is going to come out that will be as remotely offensive as his pals, he is completely living in a dream world.

Oh poor Rev. Wright, he has been threw so much, but now he has received his final reward with a 10,000 square foot house.

PRAISE JESUS!!

Comment by TeresaINPa | 2008-04-16 20:18:40

Comment by Melissa | 2008-04-16 19:32:26

Did Hillary just mention Farrakhan???? Go girl!

Comment by Fleaflicker | 2008-04-16 19:32:35

Gibson to Hillary: You said he wouldn’t have been my pastor.

Do you believe 8000 people of that church should have walked out.

Hillary: I was speaking for myself. Wright blaming 9/11 on America.. she would have left. maybe it is just a personal decision but I would have walked out. Obama indeed wouldn’t have. (she didn’t say that)

Obama: I already said I wasn’t on church that day. Hillary’s former pastor talked about how Wright had been mischaracterized.

I wasn’t there when he said it. A church is more than a pastor. Unless we bridge these problems we will get no where.

George S: Does Wright LOVE America as much as you? What will you do if these videos are played.

Obama: If not these videos then others. If Hillary is candidate she will have lots of videos. I have track record of doing really cool things. Damn shame there is no real record of them. Wright loves the country because he was a marine.

Hillary: So many variations on the explanations we were told. this needs to be examined further. We need to find ways to overcome this frustration.

As leaders we have to decide who we associate with. Farrakhan, Hamas, Wright and Obama.

Whew! You go girl!

Comment by Kevin | 2008-04-16 19:32:58

Hmmmmm… are they really trying to “make nice” (a little) to unite the party against McCain??

Problem is, I think the damage is done and a runaway train (or pair) has been set in motion that I don’t know if they can regain control. At the very least I hope we point the runaway at the GOP.

Then again, they’re both locked into “modes” and the questions being fired their way are going to take them off the Us vs. McCain.

This is looking and sounding like a “media event” more and more - by that; driven by the media for entertainment and market share tonight.

Comment by Melissa | 2008-04-16 19:35:17

I agree

Comment by Psychodrew | 2008-04-16 19:34:09

I’m no apologist for Obama, but George S pressing him on whether Wright is patriotic is rather stupid. I have a feeling that he’s going to go after Hillary on Bosnia next.

Comment by Uppity | 2008-04-16 19:36:28

andddddddddddd you were Wright…um right.

Comment by Uppity | 2008-04-16 19:34:42

I love the Bosnia thing. It’s the only thing they have. Meantime, there’s Nafta-wink-wink. No it didn’t happen, yes it did. No credibility problem there. The Fictional books called autobiographies. No credibility problem there either. Then the Wright thing. Then those poor hicks. It just goes on and on. Hillary needs to make another mistake.

Yep - goading questions, they’re going to egg the controversy/antagonism rather than ask substantive questions about policy.

And God forbid they’re given a chance to go back to slamming the GOP, George and McCAIN

it is very hard for me to believe that this black messiah has not heard of this idiot preacher. Rev. Wright is a very angry black man that not many in the black community have renounced. All of these black preachers promote churches that I could never see myself in.

Charlie on electability- voter question- American Flag- why won’t he wear the flag

Comment by Andrew Gepford | 2008-04-16 19:38:28

35 minutes and one quarter way through the debate…

HAVEN’T TALKED ABOUT A SINGLE ISSUE YET.

WHAT is wrong with this country? The democrats will win the election, not based on the merits of their political philosophy but on the buzz which has erupted around these two candidates.

It makes me ill to see such a lack of interest on the part of our citizens in relevant issues throughout this campaign.

Comment by Uppity | 2008-04-16 19:39:32

HAVEN’T TALKED ABOUT A SINGLE ISSUE YET.

Exactly. No substance.

Comment by Uppity | 2008-04-16 19:40:14

But on the other hand, it’s about time Obama is forced to address these questions instead of ignoring them.

Comment by Andrew Gepford | 2008-04-16 19:44:21

Not important. We have two hours and a lot of questions about things that actually need to get done. His character is a matter of debate not appropriate for this venue.

Comment by TeresaINPa | 2008-04-16 20:30:10

I disagree, his character is an issue and most of the time he gets top spin with no one to question him.

What’s w/ the Freakin’ flag… seriously.

If it’s part of a uniform, fine, you choose to, fine - but otherwise? And compared to the other issues that will pop up - Gibson thinks the flag thing will be a major issue???? Geez

Comment by Amanda | 2008-04-16 19:41:13

To be honest, it’s not Gibson. Rightwing media, talk radion show rave about this all the time.

Upppps, Weatherman.

Comment by Kevin | 2008-04-16 20:01:53

that I recognize, but that’s why I don’t think it’s a major issue… a side one, sure, but let’s still w/ real substantive stuff - particularly these two vs the GOP/Right candidate.

Don’t think it’s gonna play out that way though

Comment by Don | 2008-04-16 19:39:49

Comment by barbh | 2008-04-16 19:40:38

George: Do you believe that sen. Clinton has been truthful about her past.

O: I haven’t commented on the issue of BOsnia, George - but you campaign has.

O: The fact of the matter, both of us have been working as hard as we can to get our message to the American people…Sen Clinton deserves the right to make errors once in a while, I certainly have. goes on to say shouldn’t get hung up on gaffes….

country in bad shape, blah, blah….shouldn’t be obsessed with these kind of errors.

says that his campaign hasn’t been about that, been about issues, washington blocking real reform, blah, blah.

Charlie: Question of basic electiability. Woman asks if BO believes in the American flag…talks about how it is a theme, how do you convince dems, not a vulnerability.

BO: would not be running for president if he did not revere this country…goes into the single parent, teenage parent (?), grandparent shtick (leaves out the goatherder African father shtick….talks about Iraq…economic fairness, etc..fight for those issues.

confident during the GE when HE is in a debate with JMC, I gotta stop now overcome by his arrogance….

Comment by Eurogirl70 | 2008-04-16 19:41:49

Obama

Hillary flew into a war zone. She has been to over 80 countries. You have held no substantive meetings. You claim you do not take money from the oil industry when you do. You never heard anything nasty coming out the mouth of a crazy like Rev. Wright, whom you have known for over 20 years. You called Rezko “that individual” when you had a very cozy relationship with him. You don’t know Auchi, except that you toasted and sang his praises at a dinner in 2004. Now you are saying that you made a trip to Pakistan during your college years….yeah, that’s the ticket!!

Comment by Don | 2008-04-16 19:42:05

Obama may be able to talk but he is dangerous and won’t answer the question directly ever. Hillary is distastful and also a liar but who is worse

Comment by Eurogirl70 | 2008-04-16 19:44:21

Comparing Hillary Clinton to Barak Obama is crap. That is what you trolls do. Democrat’s-Republican’s, there is no difference. Now you come along and play that little tired game by saying Obama-Clinton, what is the difference, they are all the same!!

Pull your crap somewhere else!!

Defending knowing Ayers.

Hillary: Says Ayers served on board with BO. Relationship with Mr. Ayers on this board continued after 911, comments deeply hurtful to people in NY. Comments were published on 911? Issue that people will be asking about. BO a good man, she respsects him greatly, Repubs will certainly be raising this….how are we going to run against JMC. Wish that they would apologize for Bush admin…..

I have a lot of baggage and everyone has been rummaging through it for years….

Comment by Kevin | 2008-04-16 19:45:50

Comment by Amanda | 2008-04-16 19:51:59

Comment by Fleaflicker | 2008-04-16 19:45:58

Some dude about Bosnia: I made a mistake. I am embarrassed and I have apologized. Wes Clark was there. I am proud that I went to a war zone. I know from my experience of going to all of these countries that these experiences will help me battle John McCain. Maybe I should get more sleep.

George S to Obama: Is Hillary a liar? You said she hasn’t been fully truthful.

Obama: Sometimes we screw up. We shouldn’t get obsessed with gaffes. this is a defining moment in history. our economy sucks. Foreign policy is shattered. Costs going up. We should forget about these gaffes. Especially mine because I sure don’t want people to think about me being a dumb ass.

Some lady to Obama: Why don’t you wear the flag?

Obama: Well look… I revere the American flag. There is no other country in which my story is even possible. The Kansas lie, teenage mom. Yep… couldn’t happen anywhere else. I respect America by all the work i do in the Veterans Committee. I will fight for those issues.

He doesn’t say a word about the flag pin. He wore one yesterday because a Veteran gave one to him. This is a manufactured issue. Who gives a shit.

George S to Obama: Ayers question….

Obama: This is a guy who lives in my neighborhood who I know and who I have not been endorsed by. He doesn’t give me advice on a regular basis. it doesn’t reflect on me very much. Who I know doesn’t mean a thing. Americans are smarter than that.

Hillary: Obama served on a board with Ayers. paid position. Friendship occurred after Ayers 9/11 comments. It is an issue people will be asking about. This is an issue the republicans will bring up. How are we going to win against John McCain? I have a lot of baggage and everyone has been rummaging through it for years.

Obama: By Hillary’s own standards she wouldn’t be vetted . Bill Clinton pardoned two weather underground members. People clapping..

Hillary should go for the jugular here.

Comment by TeresaINPa | 2008-04-16 20:44:58

Comment by Uppity | 2008-04-16 19:52:45

Respect from that bunch?? Hahaha. It’s McGovern all over again. Next thing they will be marching and demonstrating and generally scaring the shit out of all the adults who will go to the polls thinking let’s get rid of this guy now!

I cannot believe how McGovern this campaign is. It’s exact. And as we all know McGovern got, what, 38% in the election? It was a massacre and it was all because of the same type of uncontrolled, rude supporters.

Comment by SensibleWoman | 2008-04-16 20:24:50

Yet, I keep reading comments about thugs, unruly supporters, etc. - not to forget the comment earlier about Obama’s ears and him looking like curious george, and I’m not supposed to hear stereotyping?

Comment by simon, too | 2008-04-16 20:00:42

dumbo, you forgot dumbo.

I keep expecting dumbo to lift off with those years, or break into another, what me worry? grin, ala the MAD cartoon guy.

Obama takes money from Auchi, given that, how many deaths do you hink he’s connected to , indirectly?

Or how many has he profited from, indirectly?

You know, no matter how you paint, that pollution fills up the river, and you can’t ignore it, and Obama can’t either…

tick tick tick

Comment by Kevin | 2008-04-16 20:07:04

Dumbo I could care less about - but your “murder” comment -

You’re kidding right? Ummmm… let’s just ask a similar question considering how much more money from such a broader pool of questionable sources that both Clintons have…

Or for that matter - every day either of us or anyone reading this handling cash is indirectly touching something that might be directly or indirectly linked to a crime and or death… what all of your dollar bills come from your own printing press?

Please - make your point w/o the hyperbole… you just weaken it.

Oh, yeah they did about Iraq.

Might as well throw in the towel for the GE, while McInsane uses it to mop up the nomination.

Listen to the Far-Left about Iraq, and it’s bye bye in November — we can’t just leave in 60 days, it’ll ALL implode with the Iraqis hating our guts worse. That’s like saying after V-E and V-J day, we were out of Germany and Japan 60 days afterwards.

AGH!!!

Gibson to Hillary: Do candidates have a plan to get out of Iraq? if military said it would destabilize Iraq are you going to do it anyway?

Hillary: Civilians control military. Best interests of the country and Iraq to withdrawal within 60 days. Responsible and careful manner. Iraqis no longer have a blank check. Commitment to withdraw makes Iraqis do what they need to do. Work with other countries to help stabilize region. I will make this decision!

Gibson: Do you know better than the military commanders?

I am sure that our staying in Iraq makes it impossible to have strength in any other part of the world, like Afghanistan.

We don’t know what will happen if we withdraw but we do know what will happen if we stay. We will be unable to exert our moral leadership and strength in the world.

Obama, you too?

Damn right. What Hillary said because I can’t think on my own about this and that Power chick let the cat out of the bag about what I really mean. So I am going to hide behind Hillary’s pantsuit.

Not just look at situation in Iraq, but Al Queda in Pakistan and Afghanistan. No strategic reserve…maybe he will draft all his obamatron supporters..!!!

How do you expect to pay for fundamental social programs without a tax hike? Isn’t this the price we inherently pay for such services? Maybe if we had more of them paying more in taxes wouldn’t sound so terrible.

Comment by simon, too | 2008-04-16 20:07:26

How do you expect to pay for fundamental social programs without a tax hike? Isn’t this the price we inherently pay for such services?

History 101: Revolutionary War and the real reason for the Civil War — high tariffs on cotton, to benefit northern mills.

That’s the price the US pays for high taxes.

Go to my website. I pay for everything I propose.

Obama? I will cut your taxes. You will get up to a $1000 if you vote for me. It’s why I have been raising so much money. And blah blah blah. Damn this guy is boring.

Comment by Uppity | 2008-04-16 20:10:45

I want to hear about health care, because I honestly don’t think Obama has a clue what a single pay health care policy costs. When he keeps saying he’s going to save people 2500 a year it’s chicken feed. People still won’t be able to afford a single pay policy. Here, it costs nearly $900 a month for ONE person on an HMO. A family is more like $2000. PER MONTH. 2500 isn’t going to help anybody on a single pay policy. These are the nearly fifty million uninsured people. They cannot afford single pay.

Comment by Sugar | 2008-04-16 20:10:52

I love these moderators. Yes, they’re not hitting the issues (really, by now you should know where each candidate stands), but they are not letting either candidate sidestep the answers. They are prepared, and when either candidate tries to gloss over something…they seem to be right there with the facts. So much better than Campbell Brown or others who could barely contain their admiration for Obama.

Comment by Eurogirl70 | 2008-04-16 20:14:38

Wow Obama

I thought that article came out months ago, and it was Warren Buffet who said it when referring to his tax rate and that of his secretary.

Just because you have stocks, does not mean you had any control in investing in them. Your 401K is diversified and the manager decides how that money will be invested. If a stock tanks, you take the loss. During the Eisenhower years, the tax rate for the wealthiest 1% was at 90%. People still got wealthy. They just didn’t become robber barrons. Obama. always accuses Hillary of throwing the kitchen sink at him, when in fact during every debate he throws in every extraneous piece of info that he has heard in passing because he thinks it makes him look smarter. Instead, it makes him looking like the grasping ignorant ass that he is!!

Comment by vincent | 2008-04-16 20:14:48

hoe can the reTHUGS continue to harp on this trickle down BullSh$$.

Comment by Fleaflicker | 2008-04-16 20:18:50

Hillary: We know we need to get back to an economy that works for everyone. The good ole nineties. I don’t want to take a single penny from anyone. We can create jobs. that will move the economy. Good union jobs. Tackle the housing crisis. Freeze foreclosures. Freeze interest rates. We need to invest. I will not raise the capital gains tax above the 20% it was during the first Clinton Administration. I am against Obama’s plan of raising the cap on the payroll tax.

Obama: I have to respond because of what she said. Because she made me look bad and therefore I am going to bore the rest of you because well, doggone it she made me look bad. She said something in Iowa that was recorded somewhere in Iowa. She is a liar. And I am going to continue to talk even though you guys think you can get me to play fair and give equal time.

Hillary jumps in. Fiscal responsibility is the most important thing you can do with Social Security.

You can almost see her invisibly flipping off Obama. And he can see it.

Comment by Melissa | 2008-04-16 20:19:17

GOD now I really need a shot! Straight up! No back

Comment by Mitch Bartley | 2008-04-16 20:19:31

I hope they start asking more questions about the issues, but one thing in particular I would ask them about if I had the chance is what their feeling is about government back student loans and healthcare. As a medical student, I fear increased interest rates on student loans and losing the ability to defer those loans while I’m in residency when I likely will not make enough to cover living expenses in addition to making my student loan payments. In terms of healthcare, I like both of their plans, but am interested in how they plan to pay for their ideas, and how they think it will affect physicians.

Comment by Melissa | 2008-04-16 20:23:04

I heard Hillary speak to student loans a few weeks ago- she is really committed to getting the cost down. Go to Hillary’s web site click on the fact Hub, go to the issues box on the right side of the page and click on the education section. Lots of good stuff there. My daughter is in college- this is a big issue for us too.

Comment by Melissa | 2008-04-16 20:30:53

This plan also builds on Hillary’s work in the Senate to make college more affordable. As Senator, she has worked to enact an:

Income contingent repayment option - Hillary successfully included a provision in the College Cost Reduction Act, which was signed into law in September, which would give student borrowers of federal loans the right to fair monthly payments that do not exceed 15% of the borrower’s discretionary income. After 25 years of payments, the remaining balance will be forgiven.

Comment by Uppity | 2008-04-16 20:30:10

We can show you to Daily Kos if you would like, where they are happily bashing Hillary. Guess you picked the wrong door.

Comment by barbh | 2008-04-16 20:30:49

Yes, go to D***S and see how they treat Hillary and her supporters, I could copy some vile comments about her right now from over there, but I choose not to go there anymore. Are you posting comments like this at DK*S when they call Hillary and her supporters every sexist name in the book… Many here are refugees from other sites, we are just a tad “BITTER”!!!! and clinging to our NQ!!

Comment by Talktruth | 2008-04-16 20:32:22

Too late for that already. Obama supporters declared us as their enemy since Jan.

Comment by Uppity | 2008-04-16 20:31:40

I’m dying here! Use an assault rifle to hunt deer and call it sport. It would be sport if we equipped the deer with assault rifles and taught them how to use them. Now THAT’s sport.

I get so sick and tired about the “Southside of Chicago”. There is a neighborhood in “Southeast” D.C. that I would dare step a toe in after midnight, but there is also a gorgeous section of “Southeast” D.C. that is nothing like the notoriously crime-ridden area. BHO needs to drop the “Southside of Chicago” bit. It’s getting really worn.

Back for more fun…

Gibson: One year anniversary of Virginia Tech. Let’s talk about guns. Annie Oakley… I mean excuse me Hillary, what do yo think about this stupid question.

Hillary: I will be a good partner to cities like Philadelphia. I will reinstate the assault weapons ban. I will reinstate the COPS programs. Cities will get access to federal info that they need. I respect lawful gun ownership and they want to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and idiots like Obama and his wife Michelle. Especially Michelle.

Obama, do you agree?

Obama: I must confess i don’t know what the hell you are talking about. How dare you ask me a question I haven’t memorized the answer to.

Gibson: Do you still favor a ban on handguns? Your signature was on a document that said you did?

Obama: Charlie, how dare you bring that crap up. I am Obama and if i say that my signature wasn’t on something it wasn’t. If you don’t believe me ask my cult. Whoops, I mean my followers.

Guns are a big issue here in Texas. I think Hillary just walked the tightrope brilliantly. She said she supports what works in New York. In New York, there are different rules in different places. I for for a lot more gun control than anybody else in Texas but gun control is the only reason that some of my relatives use for saying they will not support Hillary. I hope he is watching this tonight.

I’m a conservative, darn right v-e-r-y conservative on some issues, but I’m right here. When you truly believe that your country is more important, you no longer see labels, you see what’s good for the USA.
