Leave Barack Obama Alone!

And he had to answer the very hardest debate questions ever, and those questions made him cross and defensive.

Hilarious!!! A great way to end the night. My Typepad account is not working at this hour, so I’ll have to do my own happy dance tomorrow.

Now that made me laugh. I think there are places tonight where something like this is occurring for real.

Comment by SusanUnPC | 2008-04-16 22:12:57

Rachel Maddow was all cranky about the debate questions. And I hear that ABC News’s site is down — people guess it’s from all the Obamabots whining about the debate.

Comment by fafnir | 2008-04-16 22:47:12

Yeah, and Kos has issued a fatwa to call the ABC network and whine.

Comment by Hope | 2008-04-16 22:51:42

Oh Temper Tantrum City! LOL

I’m finding it not surprising that Obama has captured the fancy of so many 60s radicals that consider violence as a way of communicating, and at the same time attracts the young college thug vote. Bad combo. I totally disagree with the ways the radicals chose to express their dissatisfaction with the government. They were totally wrong. The difference between them and the Obamacrat Kidz, though, is that the Kidz have nothing that they’re really fighting against. I mean.. yeah.. they’re against the war. But was there a draft for Iraq and these guys are fighting that? Or are they sitting in their mom’s basement, hyped up on Red Bull and dominoes pizza, threatening ABC and anyone that doesn’t agree with their new celeb obsession? They’re fighting just to fight.

When I marched in all the Iraq War protests, there were very very few college aged men in the marches. They were mostly people in their late 30s and up to 90 or so, mostly with kids. The only time we saw these angry young college guys was when they’d drive by us and flip us off or scream obsenities at us. And at that same university now, it’s all Obama all the time. Same students, different obesssion. During the run up to the war they were all calling us stupid hippies…. oh, how the worm turns.

Yeah, and Kos has issued a fatwa to call the ABC network and whine.

This is the sentiment that causes Dems to lose elections — look at the votes, and what the tyke is demanding…

You know (18+ / 0-)

this country really does need a revolution. And it’s got to begin with breaking up the media monopoly. I think whichever Democrat gets to be President HAS TO make it a top priority to radically strengthen the FCC. Take the fucking bandwidth FROM these asshole corporations and reallocate it across America to small, local stations everywhere. The bandwitdh is PUBLIC–it’s ours — not there’s. Fuck them. We take it back by law. And that’s our revolution. They can fucking try to communicate with us from their gated communities with fucking bullhorns for all I care, but they don’t get our airwaves anymore.

Pure anarchy over there at Kossack land!

Read this over at Corrente:

It just so perfectly describes how the “Kids” ae acting tonight.

Gee, imagine if their candidate had been treateed like this all along (i.e. not as “The Precious:). Those poor little tykes would have developed a case of apoplexy long before this! ;-)

Comment by mimi | 2008-04-17 09:03:07

” imagine if their candidate had been treateed like this all along”

But he wasn’t and should have been. It’s the media’s fault for softpeddaling this sexist, uqualified, narcissitic creep. The MSM legitimized BO. They created this disgustingly polarizing atmosphere by fueling Hillary-hatred and propping up a candidate that should have bitten the dust long ago.

Now, if he doesn’t get the nomination, he’s been exposed as someone no one will want next time out.

What were they thinking? And what were the people behind him and Obama himself thinking as well?

Comment by beebop | 2008-04-17 06:43:25

“whichever Democrat” will not include Barack taking action against the media. He’s a Soros possession and he’s already told us what he thinks about fighting “banks.” Every time he says something in an unguarded moment — picking the Chinese government instead of voicing concern for Tibet — he shows me a little more of what a sissy he really is. Spineless sissy. That’s why he finds strong, powerful women scary.

Comment by anna shane | 2008-04-18 14:05:21

ah, but they loved it when she was getting the rough questions, couldn’t be fairer then, and then whining was supposed to be a sign of a dishonest character or something, and she wasn’t even whining. It’s funny that so many complainers are trying to say they’re non-parisan, that there is some bigger issue, it’s just a coincidence that they’re also for Obama, and it was different back when she got the hardest questions that led Obama to doubt her character, cause she had it coming to her, and he’s done nothing to bring him such unfair attacks. I know history isn’t studied much, but gosh this was only a few months ago, wonder what these newly affronted whiners were smoking.

yes it is, in fact, I was lambasted the other night by my elderly father who has decided now, after once greatly admiring the man, to go on a hate-campaign against Bill Clinton. His rant left me shaking I was so angry and insulted.
Now if my elderly father can go to this level of nuttiness, imagine that of people 60 years younger. Scary indeed.

That’s what they are. They did it to Nutter too. These kids are batshit crazy and will bring Obama down. In fact, I think they are even worse than the McGovern savages were. They had better understand that the USA is not going to put up with that bullshit now anymore than they put up with it then.

This is also very funny. It’s a snippet of a diary over at the orange place:

Tomorrow We Take On ABC, and Disney
by Dartagnan
Wed Apr 16, 2008 at 06:23:45 PM PDT
Well folks, you’ve witnessed it. I can’t describe it any better than what you’ve already seen. I’m not sure what their motivation is. I really don’t care. I’ve never seen anything quite like it in my life and I hope I never have to see it again.
My opinions on this are largely irrelevant. What matters to this network is money, and that is where we need to go. Starting tomorrow, my spare time, meager as it is, will be dedicated to revealing the advertisers of this network, for the purpose of organized boycotts.
* Dartagnan’s diary :: ::
*
When a corporate behemoth like Disney decides it can control its News Division to filter, select and distort what the American population will or will not see in order to make decisions about its leaders, whatever murky motivations may underly that decision, there is a fundamental imbalance that needs to be addressed if this country is to remain a Democracy. What we saw tonight was neither Democratic nor Republican–it was corporate and it was disgusting–disgusting beyond my capacity to imagine just a few short years ago.
So let our response begin here, tonight.

To even imagine that these people would cover up for this scum ball in itself says a lot about how much they care about this country vs. their overblown, arrogant egos.

Comment by Hope | 2008-04-16 22:50:52

They think Obama can wave a magic wand and it will all go their way. Sounds like “The Secret” or a Tony Robbins infomercial. Sorry to offend anyone on that, but truly, instead of a mature person of substance, Obama is a big boohoo crybaby who can’t take the heat. I hope Hillary thumped him. He needs a good spanking – spoiled brat.

LOL – I especially loved Dartagnan’s line “and it was disgusting–disgusting beyond my capacity to imagine just a few short years ago.” Yeah dude, a few short years ago you were actually at DisneyLand, excited because you were finally tall enough to ride Space Mountain.

OMG — they’re hilarious! What exactly are they going to claim? ABC stole their crayons? ABC held a balanced debate and asked questions of Obama that he “wasn’t prepared” to answer? Obama knows Ayers. Obama spent 20 years with Rev. Wright as his “spiritual advisor”, Obama was cozy with Rezko, Obama gave 26k last year to the church that preaches hate against whites, jews, europeans, America, etc.

Where exactly does ABC fit into all that? Why is ith THEIR problem exactly? It’s Dartagnan and the Orange Koolaid Kidz fault for falling madly in love with a flawed candidate with more baggage than a socialite on a world cruise.

Comment by lifelong dem leaving party | 2008-04-17 01:22:36

lol – space mountain. so funny and so true.

saw one of them commenting somewhere earlier today that obama had already been through the worst he could due to hillary and the general would be easy compared to that – silly child, silly silly child. but, of course, the silly child probably hasn’t even followed a general election before, maybe read about one in high school if not too high.

unfortunately, missed the debate tonight. have been trying to find a link to a video of it, unsuccessfully so far. but the obamanuts’ reactions are downright funny, basically rage that someone would dare ask hard questions of their guy and not just hillary. that tells me she ate his lunch.

Don’t these kids know that Walt Disney personally reported “unAmerican” activity in the 50s? The Mouse was a real commie buster. ;)

Comment by TeresaINPa | 2008-04-17 07:15:44

how is the relevent? Walt Disney is dead and communism was a real threat in the 1950s. How that threat was handled by some people was despicable. But hindsight is 20/20. It is no crime to be a communist but it is not virtue either. I have always thought that leftist americans who join the communist party these days when they should know better are rather pathetic. If you want to know what a lousy system it is ask anyone who has ever been forced to live with it.

ABC delivered a FAIR debate. All Hill supporters have ever asked for was fairness….but it’s been so rare, it seems to OB people like ABC was “on Clinton side!! WAAAA Lord! Does anyone remember the debates where Obama and Edwards tagged teamed on Hill? Hillary cleaned up. She has been taking people questions for months and so is able to answer well! I don’t think BO has ever had an non scripted moment that went even ok. Well guess what? The Presidency has a lot of unscripted moments!

Here’s a hilarious comment on WaPo’s FactChecker blog:

I’m on the West Coast and the debate has not been on the local ABC channel yet. However, after reading three different debate blogs I might just go for a late bike ride rather than watch the debate because it sounds like the whole affair was lame due to the moderators being inept.

As an Obama supporter I would advise him to strongly consider not debating Hillary anymore because these debates now appear to be devoid of real substance.

Bruce Springstein’s endorsement of Obama will probably have more clout than 99% of what politicians and pundits think. Bruce is probably more insightful and smarter than than these so-called political experts.

I can’t wait for Obama to get elected so that we can REALLY GET SOME CHANGE IN WASHINGTON. The same old game is really fatiguing .

Leave Barry alone!!!

God these children are funny! Lord, protect us from the Flying Monkeys.

Comment by Uppity | 2008-04-17 06:36:59

I had this vision of Caffery, Matthews and Olberman’s heads blowing off their shoulders as they watched last night.

Cooper did a piece last night and said to the people, “but this is old stuff its all been done”. I thought: Where? Did I miss them covering Ayers? Coulda fooled me!

The fact is, for most Americans, thanks to CNN and MSNBC, this was a shock.

Comment by jyotinc | 2008-04-17 06:49:22

Bruce endorsed Obama? Now, definitely Obama will lose in this primary. One of the reason why Kerry lost is because of his endorsement. Look, Obama didn’t even win in New Jersey, so what’s the point.

Comment by beebop | 2008-04-17 06:51:29

Bruce — quite sadly — doesn’t realize that most of the people who bought his music aren’t supporting Barack Obama. Four years is a lot of time.

I think it is something we need to do- I suspect not many of Obama’s college aged crowd know how to actually use pen and paper, never mind buy a stamp! It’s one thing to flood the net and take down their site, anotehr entirely to get nice hand written notes from “the viewers.”
