Rumors of his Death are Greatly Exaggerated

This is how the Cultists react to someone finally asking tough questions of both candidates. We understand their definition of fairness. It is a one way street.

BTW… This is what the creator of this video sports as her/his profile logo. My apologies in advance. But these are the kinds of people that support Obama.

was that a death threat?

It’s certainly close to being one.

Stephie ought to have his car sweeped every time he gets in it.

I haven’t seen the video, I’m at work, but when do threats against someone call in the authorities? The mob mentality of the Obama zombies coupled with threats of violence against anyone who questions him seems to me to be a very serious issue and shouldn’t be minimized.

Do you guys know that it says this video is no longer available - what often happens with anything damaging to O.
I’m very curious about it. I would think it should be seen so people can know what craziness they are up to.

Well I can’t get the thing to load here or on youtube. I will watch and if appropriate, flag it. If it’s really bad then the youtube folks need to pull it now.

Comment by Uppity | 2008-04-17 18:32:28

It most certainly was. That video belongs in an FBI file. And so does whomever posted it.

You see that’s what hanging around with domestic and foreign terrorists brings for you.

Barack Obama must never be president. We must vote against him and get everyone we can to do the same if he steals this nomination.

I have a funny feeling we haven’t seen anything yet from these people and they must not be allowed to pick a president. This is shades of the 60s.

Interesting article from the NYT:

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/17/opinion/17kristof.html?_r=1&hp&oref=slogin

I wonder…
Why is this happening to our Dem party?
And will we ever be able to come together again?

Comment by beebop | 2008-04-17 15:22:34

I know that this sounds terribly naive. But. When a certain threshold is crossed, isn’t the danger implicit for all? It shouldn’t be this easy to dismiss lunatic behavior. I mean, I call Maureen “Howdy Dowdy,” but I wouldn’t write an obituary. I sent Toobin an email regarding sitting there and saying nothing when Calffries made the leap from Americans to al Qaeda but I chastened him for his silence … I never said that he didn’t deserve to live. (and, he apologized) Do these freaks not see that they are outside of acceptable human behavior? For OBAMA, for Pete’s sake? Cheez!

Sugapea,

That article is a the worst major contortion of attempts at “pop psychology” I have read in a while. Consider the first sentence and I am parphrasing from memory:

“In this post fact world”

First of all if is not fact or factual then it is not true. If is not true it is a lie. After many years teaching Amereican and foreign students - no where in the world are people comfortable with LIES or the people who tell them. Human survival instincts causes you to innately not trust, nor really like those type of people. Hence this guy starts off with a false premise.

As far as his quoting certain unidentified studies, he is discusinng differences in learned behaviors or prejudices. “Converted drinkers, smokers or anything else became “converted” because they hate the way their behaviors made them feel about themselves. Rather than accept that unpleasant fact, it is easier to “project” those negative feelings on others who have not converted for whatever reason or circumstance.

For example, I personally never liked rough sports like Hockey, becuase I do not find people beating each other with sticks or slamming them into walls “entertainment”.

In my experience it really comes down to how comfortable or certain you are of your own values. Everyone world wide knows basic right from wrong.

This guy is either a clever corporate shill who is being paid to propagate a breakdown of sensibilities needed for an ordrly society. Or, he is someone who has no sense of responsibilty toward others of the human race. He is disingenuous as Hell.

OMG! That is really really disturbing.

The ridiculous thing in all these attacks on George Stephanopoulos, is that after his time with Clinton I remember being miffed at him several times for seeming to lean too far to the right. I never saw him as a Clinton partisan since he entered the media fray. He was just pretty balanced, which is what probably bugged me when he was being more objective than I wanted him to be! lol

I met George while I was putting on events for a California Congress candidate (who won btw). George came to a few events I’d planned, and he was just impressive as hell. He really has great energy and a spark about him.

I don’t expect to agree with everything a journalist says — but I’m not going to publicly crucify someone because (I perceived) they were unfair to my candidate. Case in point, Nedra Pickler and Beth Fouhy of AP, they are so in the tank for Obama. I’ve sent them an email calling them on their snarky comments about Hillary, and suggesting they try to be balanced considering they are journalists.

Nothing.. nothing any of us have ever said or done has come close to the mob mentality and hysteria we’re seeing today against the participants of the debate. I read they were actually heckling the Gibson and Stephanopoulos last night. The obamacrats are getting scary…

Decide for yourself about rather or not it was simply a coincidence that Hillary just happened to be so well coached(?) on the Dr. Ayers question posited by her husbands allegedly disgruntled ex publicist.

Hillary is always well prepared for debates. She really does well in every debate, even when she is attacked relentlessly. As has happened in every debate except this one. And by the way, she got some hard questions also. She is able to apologize and admit a mistake and move on. Hillary knew she would be hit over Tuzla.

Obama expected to be given a pass on all of his recent controversies. To pretend that Hillary got some kind of advantage because she prepared is childish. She has always done her own homework.

Obama is incapable of acknowleding he ever was wrong about anything. The voters are always expected to figure out WORM. Again and again. It is wearing thin.

Obama has been really poorly prepared for all of his debates. He doesn’t like to do debates, because he is does not think on his feet. He needs a prepared speech to perform his little unity act.

Comment by Uppity | 2008-04-17 19:00:20

Yeah like Hillary needs to be coached. She can out-answer him on anything impromptu. It’s called having some actual knowledge.

If I were ABC I would be covering this video on the news and call it what it is. A death threat from just another every-day Obama-Frenzied savage.

You know, if you go to the blogspot page of the video maker, “buckpower”, and you see that his profile pic is one of Huey Newton (of the original Black Panther fame), in a military jacket and a shotgun strapped across him, then I tend to believe that this guy could be dangerous. Or, that the mass hysteria violent faction of Obama’s followers are feeding off each other, and a tragedy could be in the making.

Obama’s refusal to denounce these violent followers is a huge problem. I have no doubt that preparations are being made to protect Denver during the Convention if Obama has not managed to grab the nomination by then.

I really wonder about the U.of Chicago — this is the same institution that gave us the scourge Milton Frieman’s style economics — used in many South American countries. Naomi Klein’s book “Shock Doctrine” has the background and details.

And now cultists are trying to bully, intimidate and force their leader, Obama, on America by any means possible.

We NEVER hear Obama telling his followers to keep a civil tone — or any other words of caution. So if he doesn’t speak out against what his cult members are doing — they I must assume that he approves of the behavior (threats & intimidations) of his followers.

And YES these people are Cult members — I’ve been saying this since I started observing Cult behavior from Obama followers on the Orange Satan months ago.

These people are disgusting and out of control. I no longer hold out hope for a win in November. The party is too fractured, the feelings are too ugly.

Their candidate sucked last night. He sucked because he’s not prepared for the office and it showed. Now all they can do is wallow in their crazy Hillary hatred. Bit ironic, isn’t it, the unprecedented ugliness that Mr. Hope and Unity has brought out in his followers?

If the media had bothered in the last 7 years to ask tough questions like they did last night, we may not be at war with Iraq today.

Obama fans don’t seem to understand how crappy our media is compared to much of the foreign press. And it’s partially our fault in this country, because if a journalist dares to question things without first passing them thru a political filter, people get all outraged. I know the Dailyobama’s are presently attacking ABC and trying to get everybody fired. And probably crying to Olbermann, a sportscaster for goodness sakes.

What we saw last night was just a peek at what a responsible press looks like. Instead of realizing that in a democracy people have a right to hear the truth and form their own opinions, Obamabots are out attacking the media, trying to kill the messenger.

This is the same kind of behavior that has made the Iraq war possible and allowed Bush to continue with no accountability.

Comment by John | 2008-04-17 15:58:06

Whenever I see a shirt like that, I fervently hope that the owner has put a picture of himself wearing it on his FaceBook page, etc.

Then, whenever he applies for a job, the potential employee can quickly bring it up and see what kind of person he is considering hiring.

People who would wear shirts like that one should never, ever be allowed to forget it. And I mean NEVER- when they are grandparents, they should have their eight-year old granddaughters walking up to them and asking why they saw a photo on the internet of grampa wearing that shirt, and what does it mean?

Interesting how these are the sorts of new Democrats Dean and Brazile are aiming for!

After today, one needs to wonder if Denver is going to say thanks but no thank you for having the DNC there in August!

This is not scarey, this is the workings of how the Weather Underground formed and how other home grown so called revolutionary cells were made in 1968!

The one thing that never slowed down these movements back in the 1960’s was flow of money. A blog needs to be formed here listing all companies supporting Obama, and refusal of spending any money for their goods or services needs to be started immediately starting with a boycott of the Hyatt hotels!

Endorsers of this sort of action need to be foight against as well including boycotting The Boss’s music and the Oprah show for starters!

This is beyond serious now, this is revolutionary tactics by a bunch of kids who have no morals yet because mom and dad are still footing their bills!

George and Hill don’t even like each other very much. I read 2/3 of his book — up to the point where it was too much self aggrendizing. When leaks were coming out of Bill’s administration, she thought that George was the source of them. There were a lot of tough moments between them. And I have never detected any bias from him in her favor. Actually, I thought he had been a shit to her from time to time, but that’s just me.

The actions of the Obamabots must be fully exposed. So far they have mostly acted under the cover of anomymity on the net. The average person has no idea what these people are doing. America needs to know about the bullying tactics, threats and intimidation the Obamaphiles are engaging in on a daily basis.

I have written to Lou Dobbs and a couple of others about these supporters and their unusual behavior. There is a major story here for a very brave reporter to take on. And there is certainly enough evidence of their despicable attitudes/behavior all over the internet. Sunlight really is the best disinfectant!

I am all for first amendment rights. I don’t think anyone here believes in stiffling discussion. But at some point the party needs to take Axe and BOBO to task. BOBO’s little performance in Raleigh was classic BOBO arrogance!

Comment by Bees | 2008-04-17 16:47:07

That article is so typical of BOBO (love the name). BOBO is a phony. He condones and enourages his supporters to behave like hooligans, but he is just so innocent! Maybe I’ll start calling him PHOBO.

I hope George and Charlie expose those creepy supporters.

A line has been crossed and there is no going back. We don’t want people like this in our party. And if they have taken over with the help of Dean, Brazille, and Pelosi, among others then we need to get the hell out of the Democratic Party and stay out. I want nothing to do with anything like this. Or with a party that contains people that would do it or condone it.

You are right…..This is the type of shit FDR fought against…FASCISM
FASCISM n.1. Totlalitarian governmental system led by a dictator and emphasizing agressive nationalism, militarism, and often racism. Random house dictionary

They have spent the last eight years festering with Ann Coulter. Now that they have another target with whom they don’t agree, it’s like the gauntlet at a frat house. The only difference between the extreme right and the ultra extreme left is the direction.

Charlie Gibson handled it fairly well this evening. H’e packing, I’m sure.

Mr Obama, it is long past time you asked your supporters to cool it! If you are a great leader, demonstrate it by admonishing those that threaten violence to anyone who doesn’t agree with them.

If you can’t stop the implied and blatant ugly threats among supporters, how can we imagine you can be effective bridging a gap between *any* entities if you become president?

Unite your supporters in the name of harmony and sensible, calm discussion.

Comment by beebop | 2008-04-17 18:12:26

He flipped Hillary the bird today … he’s not going to tell them to cool it. He’s only interested in stealing this election. He’s BOBO the head thug.

thanks for posting this. I went to utube, signed in, 1-starred this video, and then i flagged it as “dangerous”.

Obama and his supporters make me sick. they are as wacko as Bush supporters are.

Where the hell has my country gone? I just turned 53 a few days ago and am ashamed to be called out as an “American” when I visit foreign nations. I’ve never felt this way in my life until the last few years. Obama in the race sadly doesn’t help the situation, along with the media’s behavior.

Obamacrats are on a mission. Silence his critics. Silence anyone that dares ask him a question. Silence anyone that does not support him.

We all thought the Young Republicans were a bunch of thugs — they were small potatoes. Obama has been attracting the anarchists. I’m basing that on the widely distributed comments by some of his supporters that referenced the WTO riots in Seattle, as a model or what they plan to do in Denver if Obama doesn’t get the nomination.

Hey Howard, Hey Nancy, Hey Donna, Hey Sen. Kerry!! Are you all proud of yourselves for turning your back on this growing threat? Or are you going to blame Hillary and her supporters for not giving up yet? THANK GOD Hillary hasn’t given up! If this is a preview of what Obama and Co. has to offer.

This may very well spur a real third party when all is said and done. How could any of us ever support or trust the Democratic Party again after this ridiculous exercise in PC-run amok?

Comment by Catriley | 2008-04-17 18:13:19

Oh, btw. AP has a front page article on Yahoo that basically gathers up quotes from reviewers who slammed George and Charlie, and talked about the 8 to 1 complaints to ABC about the debate. Sadly, and predictably for AP, it was slanted to make the DEBATE look bad — not the violent assholes who support Obama.

What is with AP? I know that they trashed Al Gore systematically in 2000, then Edwards, then Kerry in 2004. But this all Obama all the time crap is driving me crazy. I don’t know if it’s actually more of a problem that sites like Yahoo are only picking up the pro-obama pieces or what. But it seems only Nedra Pickler and Beth Fouhy (who are assigned to Obama) get their articles published anywhere. The web content/news editors at Yahoo only pick up PRO Obama stuff to feature on their pages.

For those of you who saw the thread earlier this morning, with the guy from the 60s who ran an SDS safe house, his words were REMEMBER KENT STATE. Now this is a guy who is stuck in the late sixties, early 70s and that is deranged shit, I don’t care what you say. This Obama has raised the senses of these people and lifted them from the dead. They are Blood in The Street people stuck in a time warp. These are the types Ayers would attract, and they have manipulated the children as well. An Obama presidency is a nightmare presidency. Now, more than ever, you must remember that if this man is the nominee, you must tell everyone you know of what you have seen on the internet of these people. Keep links to websites that have these horrible threads. We have all seen them. Bookmark them. Print them out. Show people. Do not be complacent. Defeating this man is more important than we imagine. Let McCain laugh. I don’t care. I would rather four years or his stupidity than Obama blood in the streets AKA 1970.

Ayers’ actions killed people he knew and loved. And yet. He will tell you that he “didn’t do enough.”

What a sick bastard.

Comment by Bamboozled | 2008-04-18 07:27:20

He should have been prepared. He should have known those question would come up. Since he didn’t answer them well, he and his followers are up-in-arms over the questions because they were deemed “too harsh” on Senator Obama.
The Obamatrons have been emailing by the thousands to the major and cable networks complaining about the questions asked.
The guy who works to make a living, who doesn’t have time to email all of the networks, is the one who is being left out of this process. The networks and the DNC need to wake up and realize this.

Comment by beebop | 2008-04-18 07:33:46

If they were “awake,” it wouldn’t have come to this. The rail is out — thanks to them — and the train has left the track. When it lands it is going to be ugly. Either way. I don’t know much about physics … but this looks BAD!

That’s why they loved caucuses too. Working people are left out of caucuses.

That’s the adult way of looking at it. The sophomoric way of looking at it was, they won’t dare ask me, I am protected.

Remember the taxpayers? The ones who actually pay the salary of our elected officials and everything else in this country? They are the ones who are getting screwed this election.
Obama, the media darling, the golden candidate, can do no wrong. Too bad this whole line of questioning we saw on Weds. didn’t happen sooner.
The media is apologizing all over itself. Why?
Hillary has been under that kind of frustrating scrutiny since she declared her bid.

Comment by beebop | 2008-04-18 07:41:10

The Yahoo/AP poll results are out. Go look at the “methodology.”

Results are weighted, or adjusted, to reflect the adult population by demographic factors such as age, sex, region, and education.

What the fuck? Why do they bother to survey at all?

Just go ahead and decide what you want the damn poll to say.

Comment by joey | 2008-04-18 14:11:36

You’re an idiot if you think these moderators asked “tough” questions. They were pathetic and most Americans agree with that statement. Just read the polls of the outraged voters. Learn something and go to Glenn Greenwald@salon.com who explains perfectly why these moderators asked what they did. Using the pettiness of this so called “debate” to suggest something negative about Obama had just the opposite effect as the latest polls demonstrate he took the lead in PA after last night’s debate, and no, it had nothing to do with Clinton but rather with the pathetic vapid questions these republican hitmen asked. David Brooks uses the term most Americans etc to describe his own personal opinions as the [polls show most Americans completely disagree with him. Don’t make the same mistake…the only people claiming this debate was at all pertinent are right wing pundits who try to keep the level of discourse on trivial meaningless personality based levels. Go sign the petition at moveon.org for ABC and other Drudge led groupies to get their heads out of their collective asses. Watch George Step get his head handed to him on his weekend show by Kucinich when he tried doing the same type of hit job on him. Just pathetic.

Comment by The Gringo's Wife | 2008-04-18 18:53:28

It’s all about A-holes and perspectives.

Just as you sir see things Obama’s way, we see it Hillary’s way. What in the world makes you or those who agree with you are right?

Hillary is not without a formidable amount of support from people who agree with her. So I ponder the question of how much ego one must have to insist that millions are wrong because millions are right.

Uhm… huh?

Comment by beebop | 2008-04-18 18:59:53

Can I ask you to which poll you are referring?

The one that weights its results?

The one that includes 300+ additional AA’s and 300+ additional catholics (Casey, anyone?)

There were “polls” that had him even with or just behind Hillary … and he lost to her by 10%.

Believing in fantasy is a terrific way to live if you are 3 years old. Imagine who you are going to feel Wednesday morning when you’ve been reading “polls” and find that he lost by double digits after spending AN OBSCENE amount of money …

Don’t trip over your lower lip.

Comment by joey | 2008-04-18 14:33:50

If only Clinton would have laughed out loud when asked about McCain instead of saying he’s a formidable opponent and instead said, “Are you kidding? More wars McCain?, who doesn’t have a clue about the economy and is just two steps away from senility. Who has to have somebody tell him what to say to keep from getting it confused. What a joke. The only reason he’s even a candidate is because the GOP couldn’t come up with a less embarrassing candidate. Of course Obama can beat him, I can beat him. A blind monkey could beat him because he’s just another Bush on steroids. Hell, we couldn’t survive 4more yrs of Bush or McBush as I like to call him.No McBush has nothing to do with it. The next president is going to be one of us. Next question?”

Quit acting like these snakes are worthy of respect. They are incapable of playing nice or even talking about real issues. As soon as you’re done telling then how much you respect them they hit you in the face with a snowball and laugh at how stupid you are. Look at what they have done to our democracy. Look at what they are. They do nothing that is not motivated by self-serving interests and their entire platform goes against the founding principle of “in order to form a more perfect union…’. If Clinton would have responded that way to the McCain question the moderators mouths would have dropped open in silence as the crowds would have laughed and cheered wildly.
Bush and McCain are enemies to this nation and should be treated as such but dems are so afraid they might hurt their feelings or make them mad. Just saying…

Boy Joey!

I am just surprised as hell that Senator Clinton’s office hasn’t contacted YOU to advise her how to handle herself at a debate. Gee. Wow. Rock on.
