In order to vote in the Democratic Caucus you have to have been registered as a Democrat at least 60 days prior to the caucus date. My daughter who just turned 18 was not allowed to vote in the caucus because she did not get registered until early January. <strong>So, we are not part of the Democrat for a day crowd</strong>. It really pisses me off that other states allow open primaries and allow primary day registration. I think all states should have the same 60 day policy as Colorado. Independents and Republicans have no business having any voice in the Democratic candidate selection. I did hate the caucus format. It snowed 15" on caucus day (so no one got out) so 13 people chose 11 delegates in my precinct. I’m from Colorado.
