I couldn't agree with you more. The Democratic Party need to wake up and clear up this mess now! It is apparent that the leading candidate can't do it alone.

I agree, it is a sad thing not to know whether you are black or white or neither in the U. S. Obama must be very confused by now. He wants and use the money from the rich, to try to get the support of the poor, and yes, he has taken the Black Voters for granted. That's a mistake, because there are a lot of minority voters that believe that we have done more to hinder our own growth by trying to find someone else to take the responsibility. I don't want to be taken for granted.

Well, this is one that they can't blame Hillary for. This is something that Obama will have to clean up by himself. Is he strong enough to defend his own reputation and the reputation of the people who voted for him? If not, will he be strong enough to defend our country or stand up for the poor, the old, the wounded soldiers, the women and children in the U.S. or in the world who are suffering from a lack of compassionate leadership? Think about it.

I agree with many of the comments made here. If the relationship between Obama and Wright was in the media when the campaign was initiated, Obama would be toast by now. But the media knew all of this back then and kept white-washing Obama while draging Hillary through the mud. Now Wright has pulled all of us into the mud. I am so ashame of both Obama and Wright. They have used eachother for their own political or popular gains, and both have been used by the media for financial gain. The nation needs a leader who is willing to put the people first, and a media who represents the unbias truth. It may be too late for the superdelegates to change thier opinions about who the nominee should be now that most of them have decided to support Obama. So I think all democrates need to get ready to lose in (again!) in the fall. But the party needs to realize that their failures are their own doing. They can't blame the Republicans for taking advantage of their weaknesses.

Well, this "liberal cracker" took the time to watch Moyers' interview. I didn't buy Wright, but I understand more about the issue now. And BTW, I'm NOT in any kind of "fold."

Several of these responses smack of their own elitism and sell the American people short (e.g., we are not paying attention to the primaries because of NHL and NBA). Sadly, they remind me of statements from the Obama-supporters.

Are y'all just the same? I give more credit to the people who post here.

To me he is a guy with an identity problem. He solved it by associating with and becoming one with racists and radicals and was financed by criminals.
His supporters seem like the same type as Bushies. Blinded by their worship.
His whole campagin is so Rove like, stealthy gutter politics, constant character assasination and repeating lies ad nauseum to try to make them true.
I think Obama is a right wing tool and dangerous for our country, and Im a pretty lefty liberal or so I thought. If this is what passes for liberal now maybe Im should be called a moderate centrist. And what is with having first an ex drunk Prez and now an ex druggie? Seems we could find us one nonaddict candidate.
If the world was mine to run, there would be no question, Hillary is far and away the better candidate.

I watched parts of the interview on CNN. Rev Wright is making the point that Obama threw him under the bus, which is not true. This is all about IN. NC they have that "under controll" with black leaders pulling the race card again, and blaming the Clintons for the "damage" they are doing to Obama so that he looses in November. As if Obama needs help there.
I don't know if anyone noticed or mentioned above the good words Wright had about Farrakan. Don't know if there was a follow up question on that, but I didn't see the media picking up on that.

But they might lose Indiana while they're at it. Losing IN would be a huge loss for Obama. It would mean the only big state he won was his own. And the GOP in NC is playing an ad against Obama using the Wright video. It's a dangerous game and, God-willing, it backfires big time.

I am hoping that the combination of Obama's humiliating loss in Pennsylvania and the GOP's ad attacking his association with Rev. Wright will work miracles in the Tar Heel State.
