It was called Cave Canem and was actually a renovated Gay club...the communal "baths" were left intact, on the level below. My table was next to one at which sat Jodie Foster and the actress who starred in Flashdance (Jennifer Biel, I think). At another table sat Barbara Walters with some guy who could have been a Senator...who knows. The restaurant probably lasted 6 months. I do not know if I am going to lose my house or not right now. <strong>SO, Fuck Gene Robinson.</strong> Families in America need help, and Robinson is living in a dream world if he thinks taxpayers don't know that Washington D.C. is all fine with bailing out banks and Wall Street, but when we (the bitter ones) are hurting, then they suddenly become all about being "fiscally responsible". I know roads need repaired, but they won't fix the roads I drive on anyway. And I can't afford to drive on them. Oil companies owe something like $10 billion in taxes right now. Why do they need subsidies? Congress needs to make them pay up. There are lots of places Congress can find money to help working Americans. They do not want to.
