Well, I wouldn’t cite the veterans of the American Revolutionary war if trying to sell the idea of non-violent change; it’s poor salesmanship.

And I don’t think Ayers and Dohrn hate the country; they were merely wrong.

It’s tough to appreciate the actions of the Weather Underground outside of the context of the times. It was a time of madness and violence.

Set the Waybac for 1970, Sherman, and you’ll find the teenage me– with my too-short flared pants, and let’s don’t even talk about the hair– at an anti-war demonstration in MacArthur Park here in LA. I was the guy carrying a bucket of wet handkerchiefs in anticipation of the overzealous use of tear gas by the LAPD and guess what, they did in fact gas our asses.

Don’t be such a dope, Uppity, no one is claiming that the bombing did not occur.

What I am saying is that there is no evidence to support your contention– and that of John Murtaugh– that this is the work of the Weather Underground.

Again, enter data now. Murtaugh says that Bernadine Dohrn has claimed responsibility for it “several times.” Where, and when? Name just one instance. Data, Truth, Fact.

If you look at it with an unjaundiced eye, you’ll see that this is merely a bit of political tomfoolery from a republican guy who wants to get in some digs at the presumptive democratic nominee. As example of the silliness of the man, I note that at the end of the interview with Greta on Fox, he claims that Ayers is “an advisor” of the Obama campaign.

The Wikipedia entry for the Weather Underground has a timeline for the activities of the group. The timeline includes bombings they claimed responsibility for as well as bombings they are suspected of but did not claim responsibility for.

The Murtaugh home bombing is not included in the list, which by itself ought to be enough to convince you that Murtaugh’s not being truthful.

From Murtaugh’s description of the night, with its “gasoline-filled bombs”, I’m inclined to infer that “molotov cocktails”– which consist of a rag stuffed into the neck of a bottle full of gasoline and then lit and thrown– were the, uh, IED.

Any cop’ll tell ya: this doesn’t match up with the MO of the Weather Underground, whose explosive devices were dynamite-based and in every case planted at public buildings, not private homes.

But as long as daddy has the $$$$$$ his shithead son can do as he pleases. It creeps me out that Ayers is associated with Education — and that future teachers probably have to take a “required” class from him in order to get his degree.

Professors have a very powerful position — thankfully I had some excellent ones. That’s where I learned that the left and right political extremes meet in the middle.

But then my generation learned that research is our friend — verify and research BEFORE you support the latest fad in leaders. Therefore I research Obama — and what I learned told me he should NEVER be President.

Then I did a personality profile on him — HELL NO Obama should NEVER be President.

If Trolls knew how to debate or were the least bit intelligent they would have googled for the details and then posted the opposing views or facts.

Green (rich=color of money) is the common denominator of Ayers, Obama, GW Bush and the people who are backing these dopes.
