Actually, that’s not quite fair. A Georgia man is selling t-shirts with Obama peeling a banana looking like Curious George. He made the national news, even though he’s a mere tavern owner selling out of his small town, as a “typical racist” against Obama.

Why, then, isn’t someone doing the same on these types of items being sold nationally?

The gross misogyny is OK?

So if something was done like this to Obama - using stereotypical “black” thing it would be taken as a joke & we would be told to grow thick skin? I THINK NOT….there would be so much outrage and calling for heads to roll at CNBC

Tacky? Yep. Offensive? Sure. Funny? Absolutely. Its a joke, people. We tell bad, non-PC jokes all the time. Grow some thicker skin and move on to spending quality time w/your family. Take this example for the shallow jab that it is. Politics has made everyone so dang SENSITIVE. I’m equally disgusted with all candidates. Even if I had a favorite, I’d have to give kudos to a good marketing ploy (whilst bemoaning our capitalistic tendencies). If all the offended folks out there were viewing a Barak doll that spit watermelon seeds (and yes I’d find it offensive yet amusing), would you be as worked up? Is a DOLL enough to skew our opinions? No - it only appeals to a similar mindset. Is your outrage going to change their minds? How many other instances of clashing ideologies have ticked you off? What have you done about it? CAN you do anything about it? Think, people. Tend your garden to the best of your ability and let the rest go.

Since sexism is o.k going in the Clinton direction why not back the other way!!

How about a Michelle Obama doll carrying a purse with her husbands “nuts” in it.
On the purse it could say, “Obama’s nut case.”

There could even be a string in the back. When pulled, Michelle starts complaining about how “obama can’t make a bed as well as their youngest child.”

She did say that before. What’s the harm!!

It isn’t like she is being called a nut case, just her purse. That is where she keeps them isn’t it?

She is a bit of a nut job. let’s see, tells tales of surviving harrowing sniper fire that never happened, later says she “mis-remembered” it and expects people to think that’s ok, threatens nuclear genocide against another nation, even in a scenario where that nation doesn’t attack the US, and on, and on.

Anyone who votes for a crazy person to have control over the nuclear button must also be crazy. That goes for McCain too, as he’s having a good deal of trouble remembering what he did or did not do or say lately too. He might forget what the button does.

That leaves Ron Paul and Obama. I’m not sure either of them is sane either! What’s in the drinking water in Washington???

I wouldn’t compare Obama to Marx. One of them at least was highly intelligent; and despite weaknesses, had ethics. Guess who I am referring to.

I gotta agree that this doll is incredibly offensive. And it’s not the “tough” part that’s offensive of course. It’s the insinuation (as someone already pointed out) that tough women are men-haters. Sexism alive and well.
