I can tell you a great place to look – based on a history of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge the announcement ceremony was a huge photo-op – Ambassador Annenberg’s daughter handed the mayor of Chicago a poster sized check for $49.2 million, presumably to flashing bulbs and the whir of videocameras.

SO, would the head of the group that led the grant proposal be in a photo with the newly annointed chairman? One might think so. But I can’t find a
photo in the Chi Trib or Sun archives.

The event was Jan 1995 at Washington Irving school in Chicago; maybe a society mag had photos; maybe the Annenberg foundation could be contacted.

I do not have good memories, I remember violence and bloodshed. I remember cults, children being sexually abused, the Weathermen, and people praising the Manson murders. I remember a lot of insanity and no one at the helm.

Idealism without wisdom is deadly. Now I understand why I’m so opposed to Obama.

Like voting in Democratic open primaries for Obama.

That makes him an elitist in my book.

Coincidence? I think not.

Has anyone heard that Hillary Clinton worked for a communist law firm in the 1970’s? Oh wait, I’m not supposed to mention that…

If you find yourself writing statements like “Obama is a terrorist”, you need to back off, get some R&R, and up the prescription.

Folks, if this is what happens to you under the pressure of a tough primary season, where you suddenly decide your opponents aren’t just political opponents, don’t just have different ideas that you don’t agree with, but that they are actually “terrorists”, then politics isn’t for you. Some feudal or tribal society where disputes are dealt with violently perhaps, but not a functioning democracy.

Rev. Wright’s labelling of American military actions as “terrorism” has been rightly (and universally) decried on this site. The same should be done to people who take their language like this one gigantic, incendiary leap too far, just like Rev. Wright.
