Just a Guy in Barack’s Neighborhood

Obama Ayers Dorhn

Barack Obama is running on his “judgment” and “integrity in government.” He tells us that Washington is broken, and he is the one who can fix it. But looking back at his fast rise up out of the slime of Chicago politics, one can legitimately question where he got the “creds” to fulfill what he professes.

Rev. Wright has probably used up most of his 15 minutes of fame. But why Obama chose to attend and financially support a church whose religious leader screeched anti-American diatribes remains unclear. However, far more telling about Obama’s character is his statement that he could no more disown Rev. Wright than he could disown the Black community, followed shortly thereafter by tossing him into a ditch when Wright resurfaced spewing essentially the same old rants. What firm commitments would he make as President that are subsequently turned upside down? What impact would such 180 degree turnarounds have on our people or our country?

Tony Rezko, major fund-raiser and house hunting-purchasing companion remains on trial (as of this writing) for wire fraud, bribery, money laundering, and attempted extortion. But enough is out there to expose Rezko for lining his own pockets at the expense of the poor who lived in the slums of Obama’s state senate district.

Obama gave the estimated $250,000 bundled by Rezko to charity, but that doesn’t erase the relationship itself, nor does Obama’s characterization of the home-lot-buying caper as “boneheaded” expunge this bizarre transaction from the record. What other “boneheaded” decisions would Obama make as President, and what will the consequences be?

However, to me the relationship that will ensure that Obama could never win a general election is his complex business-political-friendship with Bill Ayers and wife, Bernadine Dohrn. These unrepentant home-grown terrorists of yesteryear, whose group planned and set off bombs at the Capital, Pentagon and other buildings resulting in several deaths, were instrumental in getting Obama’s career off the ground. [Note: Ayers was never tried for the crimes he has never denied committing, because of a violation in FBI surveillance tactics.] Obama is trying to discount his relationship with this couple as casual, but numerous reports suggest that it was otherwise.

Obama’s campaign excels at word-spinning, especially the art of the ambiguous. To wit is his answer to George Stephanopoulos’ questioning during the recent debate on ABC about the extent of the relationship, Obama replied: “This is a guy who lives in my neighborhood… He’s not somebody I exchange ideas with on a regular basis.” What is “regular?” It sure isn’t “never.” Upon reviewing their mutual involvements over many years, it is clear that Ayers and Dohrn are not just a couple who Obama waves to while out walking the dog.

Before I get labeled as a traitor to the Democratic Party by creating another cartoon that questions the judgment of the individual who could be our nominee for President, let me assure you that my single concern is wanting a Democrat to move into the White House in January of 2009. Obama says that Clinton has attacked him. Well, he hasn’t seen anything yet! The Republicans already think Christmas is coming in June.

When they run McCain on a national security theme, the Ayers relationship, in particular, will play out in ways that will devastate Obama’s candidacy. Republicans are unconcerned with the fact that Obama was only 8 years old when the bombs exploded. Images of that devastation, followed by highly disturbing images of 9/11, paired with the details of the relationship between the two men will be broadcast repeatedly into everyone’s living room. I don’t make this stuff up—it’s all out there already.

The only remaining question is, “Will the Super Delegates see the neon-bright writing on the wall in time?”

it is true. all obama supporters are vicious and violent, and they will do anything in order to ensure that their messiah hussein is elected to the presidency. they enjoy his affiliations with reverend wright, louis farrakhan, odinga, who has slaughtered christians, and ayers, the terrorist who bombed the pentagon. motivated by rage and by impulse, obama supporters are low information terrorists who harass supporters of other candidates.

and just observe their behaviour on the blogs and in the field. they tear clinton signs, throw objects at clinton supporters, write hate mail to clinton supporters and even attempt to have clinton supporters fired from their jobs.

these terrorist supporters convinced this democrat to vote against obama in the general election.

Comment by requiemforadancer | 2008-05-07 20:13:49

As hyperbolic as this sounds, it’s true.

So, should we minimize it, or wait, until it develops into further violence?

What do you think, “john,” you have control, Axelrod has control?

That is simply a projection, now, isn’t it?

Go ahead, bury your head in the sand. It reminds me of Bush supporters in 2004—they just didn’t want to look at the glaring negatives and look what we got. So many Obama supporters just don’t want to admit that Obama has any negatives. The folks I talked to in Indiana when I phone-banked for Hillary said the Wright connection to Obama was a problem and they were not going to vote for him for that reason.

I’ve heard Black pundits and politicians threaten uprisings worse than the 1968 Chicago riots, bloodshed, and even civil war if Obama is not the nominee. Black women on TV have said they have been ostracized and threatened by family and friends for supporting Hillary Clinton. Obama supporters have been threatening and intimidating in their speech and behavior, notably in blogs and at caucuses, while Obama rallies seem overtaken with mindless religious fervor. When Hillary attended the Black State of the Union meeting recently, Tavis Smiley had to talk his audience down and remind them that it’s wrong to threaten violence and that they should be polite to Hillary.
Obama is strongly supported by the New Black Panther Party which (I read) is more violent than the old Black Panther Party. I saw their website before it was taken down, and it was plastered with Obama worship. While the Obama campaign says Hillary “will do anything to get elected,” he seeks and accepts funds and support from even criminals and terrorists. He didn’t denounce/reject or otherwise dissociate himself from Rev. Wright, Antoin Rezko , Louis Farrakhan, William Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, or The New (or old) Black Panther Party as long as it seemed these benefited his candidacy.
What should be of great concern to Obama’s supporters and others is that his loyalty seems to go as far as his personal self-interest. He has avoided being publicly associated with Black groups and leaders. A Saturday Night Live skit showed comically how he avoids associations with Black leaders (Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson). He didn’t even attend the State of the Black Union. And what did he do for the Blacks in New Orleans - not to mention the poor people living in Rezko Chicago slums without heat? Moreover, while Black voters threw Hillary and Bill Clinton under the bus to support a Black candidate who so far has done nothing substantial for them, Barack Obama did the same to Rev. Wright along with his White grandmother in order to court the White vote. WHAT WILL HE DO TO ISRAEL WHEN HE COURTS MUSLIM FAVOR?

What the Ayers issue highlights for me is not so much Obama’s already-known poor judgement, but the moral relativism of the left.

Can’t believe I’m referring to “the left” as “them” but sorry, I don’t care how intelligent Ayers is, he’s an ass. I can’t believe he has a teaching position at a university.

Trippi, who advised Dean on his 04 run, wrote a scathing article about Dean’s behavior, post election, in the Atlantic.

At the time, I thought it was unprofessional, given current circustances, it would probably prove very enlightening.

Comment by Nancy K | 2008-05-08 05:59:27

Is it a fact that “vetting” potential presidential candidates is not practiced today as it was in the past or are you assuming the above because Obama should not or would not have been a candidate if he were properly vetted?

Comment by MessyMarcy | 2008-05-07 20:51:44

True, but his point is well taken. Consider further the verbal attacks on women and the elderly that have come from what I call the ivory tower wing of the party. I previously had just considered them rather unrealistic, but I now stand corrected. They are just as bigoted as the ultra right — they just have different targets. I never thought I would see such hatred come from fellow Democrats. Heckuva job, Howie & Barack.

And the disabled, who they feel is “dead weight” and expendable (the Terri Schivos of the world). Ever wonder why euthanasia is pressed h-a-r-d by this sub-group? They don’t want it to be a personal decision, but a State one decided by strangers with different values (so evident in Texas by giving doctors rights to kill patients by their expertise — ask how many folks who have been misdiagnosised how much they trust MDs on THAT decision!).

In other words they want to practice Eugenics on the scale that would be worse than Hilter’s “T4″ “euthanasia” campaign.

They put the State before the individual.

I think that Ayers comes from a wealthy background and “those” kind of people (like Bush) get privileges that ordinary people do not get. I wouldn’t be surprised if his family didn’t donate enough money to get him a job. Of course, Obama has benefitted because he was “useful” to Chicago movers and shakers.

Speaking of Chicago movers and shakers, what is Oprah up to these days. We haven’t heard from her much lately.

Comment by Nancy K | 2008-05-08 06:07:34

I noticed her disappearance also. I just read an article that said Oprah only took 2 years to understand that it was unwise to stay in Rev. Wright’s church. Do you think anyone believes that Obama didn’t know what Rev. Wright was preaching - for 20 years?

The New Left hd a stranglhold on the Democratic party until the Centrists came to prominence with the electon of Bill Clinton and Al Gore….
New Left = ID Politics…….Centrists = Focus on Economics as a way to achieve social policies….This is why the New Democrats are vilified by both the Left and the Right…..After all WHY ACHIEVE ANYTHING WHEN WE CAN SQUABBLE IN AN ENDLESS SHITSTORM OF VICTIMHOOD AND MORAL POSTURING ?

The delegates know all about this. It is logical to assume Obama has not closed the deal because he can’t close the deal. The delegates are looking for cover so they can give the nod to Hillary. The delegates know all about Obama.

Check out my troll advisory for a clue:

Comment by Patriotic Lion | 2008-05-07 15:50:59

Troll advisory, and I am just making this up so nothing to be concerned about:

All the nefarious tactics by the Obama campaign have been compiled into a briefing document and dossier. Obama is being held responsible. Plausible deniability may protect Obama from legal sanctions, but the information has the power where it is needed: to convince the delegates Obama is a threat to national security and our very way of life.

The delegates have this document and it is being updated continually.

By the way, all those votes in Michigan and Florida do count where it counts: the delegates (and not you trolls) who will nominate Hillary.

Since Hillary is actually electable against McCain the nefarious stuff makes her case ab easy sell to the delegates. The delegates posturing you see in public is just that: delegates posturing.

I hope you sleep well tonight knowing that knucklehead you adore and idealize is being walked patiently out the door by a master politician: Hillary Clinton. Hillary still is in the race and pout all you want, she’s going the distance.

Worry for not though, I just made all of this up.

By the way, McGovern telling Hillary to bow out is laughable, considering how successful a “President” he turned out to be. :) Not to mention the D party nominating him.

Comment by alibe | 2008-05-07 20:26:38

Maybe McGovern is hoping that Obama will erase the legacy of McGovern as being the Democratic candidate who lost by the biggest margin.

The Democratic party, or the left, does not get why Ayers and Dhorn are offensive.

Look up Ira Einhorn. He was embraced by the academic elites because he was “brilliant.” He also killed his girlfriend and a lot of people knew it.

Comment by MessyMarcy | 2008-05-07 20:59:22

Good analogy. What was it Ayers himself said? “Guilty as sin, free as a bird.” When his ass was in a crack he didn’t seem too radical to use daddy’s money to be able to walk away without serving any time. I think our system of justice is better than in most countries, but it’s pitiful when sleaze like Ayers is walking around writing books and profiting from his murders, while elsewhere a young poor kid is serving a life sentence for doing nothing more than wearing a Metallica t-shirt.

Comment by rwc | 2008-05-07 22:52:57

You nailed it, and I might add why they don’t find Wright and Farrakhan offensive as well.

If they did find them offensive Mobama wouldn’t have made it past Iowa.

I really think large segments of the party especially its activist nutroots/move-on portion actually agree with Wright, Ayers and Farrakhan. Heaven knows I’ve read way too many excuses and outright apologetics from so-called “progressives” who aren’t the least bit enraged by Wrights comments or with Mobama friendship with Ayers. They were more outraged that people found it deeply disturbing.

The thing is if folks are the least bit upset over these sort of associations you have to wonder if these people don’t at some level agree with the Wrights of this world or bloody reign of terror by Ayers.

Comment by Nancy K | 2008-05-08 06:17:27

The most frightening thought is that IF WE KNOW, THEY KNOW and that “they” are actually intentionally helping the Republicans, the corporate media, the war profiteers, and whatever obscenely wealthy multi-national corporations, hedge funds, governments, etc. benefit from the downfall of the (old) Democratic Party.

Another question - it may seem simplistic but I really am curious

Doesn’t the President of the US (whether legally elected or not) need to have a security clearance before obtaining the job?

Even me as a lowly Specialist in the Army had a Secret Clearance for my MOS (71Q71R).

Well, if I had friends like Barry they wouldn’t have even given me that!!

And there are a few levels above “Secret” (doh)

just saying - a Pretzeldent should be the TOP level and I don’t think he’ll pass the requirements. If given responsibly and NOT as “exception” due to Affirmative Action BS.

Comment by Melissa | 2008-05-07 19:47:04

Remember Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame. Vice President Cheney and Karl Rove outed a CIA agent for political revenge and intimidation with no repercussions to Cheney and Rove. I think, sadly, in the US today - and maybe it was always so - laws, rules and regulations only apply to those at low levels of power.

Sensational colors on a splendid cartoon.

You are absolutely correct about Ayers and Dohrn. This isn’t a casual relationship. Even Assholerod admits that Obama and Ayers are friendly. I am sure it is just a little more than that. And of course not much is being said about Michelle’s friendship with Dohrn where this relationship actually began.

It really doesn’t matter that Obama was 8 when these two began their reign of terror bombing things. What does matter is that as an adult Obama chose to enter into a relationship with these terrorists. And I am also certain that Obama shares the core belief of the Weathermen, that whites are the enemy. It explains his association with Wright as well.

As Mark Rudd, one of the Weathermen founders said in his unpublished memoir:

At that point in our thinking, there were no innocent Americans. At least not among the white ones. All guilty. All Americans were legitimate targets for attack. I cherished my hate as a badge of moral superiority.

I highly recommend that everyone watch this video and all of the others in the series about the Weather Underground. These are the types of people that Barack Obama associates with. And please remember that these friends of Obama are unrepentant and both of them have not given up on the possibility of doing it again. It should put a chill in anyone that cares about the safety and security of our country.

Great work Pat!

A strong AA leader who would tell the truth would help, but these inculcated attitudes take time to unwind.

But really, anyone willing to tell the truth about Obama, and his corruption, and connections, would help the situation enormously, the pretentious brother stole money intended for the black community.

And those poor fishers, you know, you lie to smear, you still lose.

And you don’t get it.

Man, Obama is whipped, whipped, whipped, whipped.

Comment by victim.of.violence.of.obama.supporters | 2008-05-07 19:41:37

Large support from African-Americans who voted against their economic interests catapulted Obama to victory in NC. Here they are voting for someone whose putative blackness is manufactured by a white man named David Axelord, Obama’s campaign manager. Obama is the product of a white mother and an African man who visited the United States on a student visa: he was raised overseas and in Hawaii, and he never had to endure anything that resembles the African-American experience. Essentially a white man with African blood, Obama has no relationship to the African-American community. But they fell for the minstrel show in blackface put on by David Axelrod, John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, Howard Dean and other anti-Clinton elements in the Democratic Party. And what has Obama ever done for the African-American community? How has he ever improved their lives? The Clintons did, but I notice they are ungrateful. Motivated by impulse and by an emotional identification with the skin of a man to whom they have absolutely no relation, they voted for pigment and not for their economic interests. I must say I found it all both tragic and telling.

Comment by requiemforadancer | 2008-05-07 19:54:38

I get angry over his financial exploitation of poor people, AA’s included.

Really, the Ayers fund, and the Annenberg Challenge, where DID that money go, too?

And what about Wright, and Rezko?

It is unconscionable that as a black man, he steal from other AA’s, and then hypocritically calls himself an advocate.

I would think that Obama doesn’t like to be reminded by others he is black,(Aa’s or Anglos) I wonder what uppity thinks of this, she’s always good for insight…

Must be a breaking point, or something.

Comment by Kathy | 2008-05-08 05:41:39

Black people hate white people. After listening to Wright and some other AA pastors, I realize more and more that they really do hate us. I guess I can’t blame them when they are inundated with the kind of rhetoric Wright spouts every Sunday.

It certainly is not uplifting or forgiving, and it must inflame hatred for whites every Sunday. How do you get over that when you listen to it for 20 years. I don’t care if you are a Harvard graduate, itt must take its toll.

When I think of 90% of AAs voting for Obama, it also tells me they hate white people. Some of these AAs have to be educated and intelligent and yet they vote for him because he is black (knowing his history–even if only half of them know his history) or because the hate for us is so overwhelming they must vote for him.

Think about a McCain with the same church indoctrinations and the same associations as Obama. Would you vote for him? I sure wouldn’t but AAs will vote for an Obama with those religious indoctrinations and associations.
91% did in North Carolina.

Obama seems to be really a SPECIAL INTEREST CANDIDATE…..
The American Voter has no idea WHAT OR WHOM THOSE SPECIAL INTERESTS ARE…..BUT THE FOLKS AT NQ ARE REVEALING A DANGEROUS EVIDENTIAL CASE THAT IS A CAUSE FOR ALARM…..

One does wonder about a few counties in Indiana and their reporting of votes and the strange happenings. Perhaps Hillary won bigger than it shows, but we know that would never happen with an Obama inspired election filled with his honorable supporters.

was howard dean, current dnc chairman, involved with barack obama’s rise to power?

check out this web log:

http://www.rezkowatch.blogspot.com.

according to an article entitled “obama and the plan for a “new democratic coalition” “, he was.

note: “new democratic coalition” is a phrase donna brazile likes to use.

howard dean supporters were designing obmas’s career even before dean left the democratic race in feb, 2004.

so,

has dean placed impediments in clinton’s path to keep her from getting the democratic nomination?

Comment by requiemforadancer | 2008-05-07 19:59:58

Yeah, and then I wonder if he’s involved in the corruption, too.

You take money from terrorist enablers, even the Russian or Chinese government, you risk the security of the US. That’s what they want you to do, risk the security of the US.

Is this ok with that group of cretins?

American intelligence is dedicated to removing and mitigating those threats, did they forget, or think Rove had nullified national security, so they were free to transact?

Rove was supposed to take care of national security, like he was supposed to take care of Fitz?

Who would protect them, then?

That work out for them?

Thats creepy as hell. Dean has set himself up as king maker.

No wonder Edwards got crushed so easily and Hillary has had nothing but a brutal uphill battle.

This site was good when it investigated intelligence gaffs. Now it’s a desperate attempt to smear the inevitable Democratic nominee.

I get that people love Hillary over here, but Obama is nowhere as evil as he is being painted.

My post is probably useless, but try & deal with the fact that Hillary needs to unite the party, show a little class & be a team player.

The focus should be on exposing the criminals in the Bush Admin, like Bloch who just got his office busted by the FBI.

How about the criminally befriended black guy dropping out for party unity?

The lone blue and incredibly corrupt state of IL won’t do anything other than make it a 49 state loss in the GE for Oblamer!

The FBI has already focused on your candidate’s homey and co-conspirator Rezko.

Screw you Paul and the screwed position your moronic cohorts have placed the decent people of this country in.

The only remaining question is, “Will the Super Delegates see the neon-bright writing on the wall in time?”

Its the delegates en total who decide the outcome.

And the delegates will see in time.

As I posted before:

Contrary to popular troll belief, Obama vs. McCain is not inevitable. In fact, Hillary is inevitable.

Obama is a real threat to our very way of life. The delegates know this and will show the courage needed for the nation. We can’t wait 4-8 years. Obama and McCain are entirely unacceptable.

The delegates are figuring out how to provide themselves cover. Hillary is a master politician and I have total faith in her to pull this off.

The child trolls will pout for a day then go back to Internet porn and video games when Obama gets his pink slip.

Do nate to Hillary

Yes, Ayers is like Mr. Rogers, just some guy in the neighborhood who darns a cardigan and wears sneakers.

Remember, “Hillary is inevitable!”

You can’t win a war when fear and doubt plague your spirit.

I also posted this:

By the way, get this inevitability of Obama vs. McCain out of your heads. That’s what Obama and his propaganda arm the MSM wants us to think. It’s all smoke, misdirection…

Hillary is gonna make it, send her cash and work your heart out for her, she is doing the same for us!

And finally this:

Here’s the secret to keeping the “Hillary is inevitable!” mantra focused:

Stay away from the MSM as much as possible. Don’t click on troll links. Ignore the trolls if they bug you at all. Also, avoid using a freebie Email provider that has news links on it, they tend to be pro-Obama and keep our morale down. I generally use my main ISP account E-mail address because it has no advertisements nor news links.

As self-appointed morale officer :) I have stopped watching the MSM news except when Hill is on, and even then, I put a box in front of the bottom of my TV screen so I don’t see the scroll propaganda. :)

I’ve also blocked MSNBC totally.

My spirits are soaring because I have no noise and misdirection propaganda in the way.

Glenn Beck just had a great time with the Ayers story. It will be a terrific election season you can count on it. The Republicans are going to have some fun with Barack H Obama. It is going to be never ending Christmas Eve for the Republicans … and John McCain. The NoQuarter picture of Bill Ayers standing on the flag was front and center.

Comment by Patriotic Lion | 2008-05-07 20:26:28

The delegates are aware of everything you speak of.

I find great solace in your information as it verifies again what we have known for months, Obama can’t win a general election race against Mickey Mouse, let alone the seasoned pol John McCain.

Remember, what is going on behind the scenes in the D party camp is where the action is at. Both candidates will make it over the finish line. Terry M. said last night it is simply a lobbying effort on the phone type of thing. Hillary has the compelling argument. All we have to do is help her across the finish line and not give a flying fuck about what the Obama/MSM propaganda machine has to say.

If we burn what I have said into our souls Hillary will make it.

Comment by waiting | 2008-05-07 21:49:11

I am in contact with one very high ranking SD in my state and this person does not think Ayers is a big deal. I am in the process of writing a long email with links laying out what I have learned here, but I really would like to know why you think they all know about this stuff. I think many of them are just consumers of the MSM and do little extra digging if they are busy. I would like to believe you, but from what I have encountered I am way more informed than this person.

Comment by Patriotic Lion | 2008-05-07 22:08:30

Logic. Both candidates are on the phone with the delegates. The delegates know everything. They don’t live in the MSM vacuum, they talk to each other.

What you are being told (if I understand you correctly) is posturing and the delegate could flip at a moments notice. They can say whatever they want, the convention is not tonight.

The fact Obama has not closed the deal yet means people are hedging bets. Hillary has the better case and Ayers is a huge deal in the GE and the delegates are not stupid, they know it. Besides, Ayers is not the only baggage issue and there is electibility based one which states have been won, etc.

Both candidates will cross the finish line and make it through all the primaries. The candidate with the best argument will prevail. Its not that complex. People are making this much more complex than it really is. The question is, will the delegates cave in to Obama’s blackmail of race-riots or do the right thing and go with Hillary? Time is Obama’s worst enemy as more and more comes out about him every day.

It is really pointless for us to debate this, Hillary will make it to the finish line. There will be lobbying of the delegates and a decision.

Hillary needs money and folks to help her — that’s what Hillary supporters are concerned about, getting her to the finish line. I’ve tuned out the Obama/MSM propaganda machine’s nagging about Hillary getting out. They can’t force her and she won’t quit.

Back to work getting her to the finish line now! :)

Comment by waiting | 2008-05-07 22:29:39

Well I hope you are right. When this person replied to my sending info on Ayers with the comment that using Ayers would be a weak arguement because he just sat on a board with him, I was somewhat taken aback. And this is a Hillary supporter!

Me, I find it very offensive that Ayers can be teaching and has suffered no repercussions from his violent past. But I lived through the 60’s and 70’s and knew SDS folks and experienced the chaos of the era. I have no use for those people. I really wonder how Obama could get a security clearance with Ayers in his past.

In a way, if Barack could win, it would be in the AA economic interest, he’d be a great role model for staying in school and in that way he’d help. That problem is that he may not be able to win the GE, he has a great primary ground game, he can get out the vote in the primaries and in small state caucuses, but in November we all vote on the same day. Also, he won’t be able to run ‘against’ HIllary if he’s the nom. I have yet to hear one person come out for Barack that hasn’t based their support on saying something nasty about Hillary. How far can Hillary hate get him? I think he’s had those voters locked up for some time now, and his character smears against her are starting to turn people away from him. And although he fights dirtier than Hillary ,no one fights dirtier than the pugs, for them it’s a badge of honor to slime the opposition in the worst possible ways. Let’s just say they’ll make No Quarter looking like soft ball punch pulling wussies.

Comment by victim.of.violence.of.obama.supporters | 2008-05-07 20:22:55

barack obama only serves as a role model for himself. after all, he has no demonstrable relation to the african-american community, unless, of course, the blackface david axelrod painted on obama’s face counts as blackness.

Comment by requiemforadancer | 2008-05-07 20:24:28

Except that would not be true, and when a lie has to be spun, it hurts Obama’s handlers in ways they cannot grasp.

And others can play that chaos, my goodness if the CIA can bring down a government internally, they can certainly handle Obama’s people, psychologically.

Comment by MessyMarcy | 2008-05-07 21:21:36

I don’t think his election would be in AAs interest in any way. He doesn’t really care about that community except to use them for political purposes. His real loyalties lie with his monied backers — Rezko, Ayers, hedge funds, oil companies, nuke interests, etc.

And even if a miracle should occur and he gets elected, he would be just an ineffective puppet like Bush and would in all probability turn out to be a liability for AAs seeking office for years to come. It would be a shame to see a no-talent wannabe like him ruin the careers of people like Nutter who actually worked to get where they are.

I would like to take credit, but it is not mine. It was another poster on a previous posting (I believe that it was in Pagan’s “Spade is a spade”) that pointed the way. I wish I could remember who, but it was their work, not mine. I just followed their direction. Anyway, I’m thankful that more people are reading the link because it is important to understand that there is a diconnect in the AA community as well. Not all AA’s are for Obama just because he has the same melanin quotient. Perhaps some folks will reconsider their comments in light of this news. Obama may carry some AAs, but not all and one should consider their comments before they truly alienate supporters. I have seen comments here that are beyond the pale - not from the regulars, but from folks that drop by and drop their racist comments in disguised formats. I haven’t seen Mimi post lately, and although sugar did comment on an earlier thread, if one pursues this sadness of white versus black, one will lose a lot of friends.
There are educated, intelligent folks out there of all stripes, who are not deluded by color of skin, but truly want a candidate that reflects their own values.
If I may be so bold, please, focus on Obamas deficiencies, such as the artcle on a black site, and less on the AA vote factor. Perhaps I’m wrong, perhaps I’m naive, but I don’t think Hillary would approve of AA or any other minority bashing. As mentioned, I’m a foreign national so I can not vote. If I could it would be Hillary all the way. And, honestly, I could not vote for Obama, if I had the chance, because I suspect that he will further weaken the U.S. abroad. Respect has to be earned. So far he hasn’t done that, quite the contrary.

Don’t say election fraud to Karl Rove, it scares him, apparently, speaking of crap in the pants.

Comment by requiemforadancer | 2008-05-07 20:54:51

Btw always having to cheat to “win” an election whether it be Rove, or Cheney or Obama — it must get to them, knowing they can’t win on merit, or skill, alone, knowing they cheated to gain their position.

If they didn’t cheat, they wouldn’t have won, and it hurts, I suppose, knowing they’re not good enough.

I just sent her some more money. She’s not giving up-neither am I.
She had great showings this week and I don’t buy the media narrative. She won Indiana after being down by 6, she came within 7 votes in Guam, after being down by 11%, and she closed from 25 down in NC.

I believe he is unelectable. I’m glad she’s still in it.

Comment by JP | 2008-05-07 20:54:29

Thank you for this post! That cartoon is a breath of fresh air. You are not a traitor, you are a hero for speaking the truth in times when so many are persecuted for doing so in the name of “unity” (read: fascism). Let’s face it, Obama may very well be a terrorist, but because of paternalistic race-based pandering (with perhaps, some gleeful Republicans who hope he’ll be the nominee thrown in), he’s given a pass. Isn’t the idea equality? Shouldn’t he WANT to be treated the same as whites? This big embracing of the victim identity is repulsive. I for one will do everything in my power to make sure this man never sees the inside of the White House, heck, I don’t even think he should be allowed in for a tour.

Thanks NoQuarter, keep it up!!! I love this place, where the truth is unapologetically spoken.

And by the way, let’s not get disheartened that Hillary did not win Indiana big. Legally, she probably did, but Barry “I’ll do anything to win” in charge, he stole it.

When Barak arrived in NY (1980-84?) Bill Ayers and wife, Bernadine Dohrn, were in NY.

Mr Davis filled BO with the “stories” of these folks. Davis was close friends with Ayers father. At a minim BO knew the history of the Ayers and still made a choice to have him be the first one to kick of his state senate campaign, still made the choice to work for Ayers.

So I am working on proving they crossed paths much earlier than 1995.. between 1980 to 1984 is when they met.

The question really should be, when BO says he just some guy in the hood, “which hood”?

And if you think the RNC has not made this connection and just waiting for the proper moment to use it.

Ayers
M.Ed from Teachers College, Columbia University in Early Childhood Education (1987) and an Ed.D from Columbia University in Curriculum and Instruction (1987).

BO
He received his B.A. degree in 1983 C.U…

I’d like to know who the link is between Camp Obama
and the MSM. Who is the direct shuttle to their copy desk? All these Obama cheerleaders didn’t just arise out of the sand. I say expose that link and you know a lot more about what’s going on. And, of course, the truth shall set you free.
—————
I would like to see that huge dossier that our campaign has on the illegal activities of Cult Obama.
Please let us see it! Please publish it! I think it would be as good a read as we’ve ever seen.

A new Pentagon Papers type ditty.
——————-
Come on Obama insiders—- don’t you want to be famous? Really, really famous? Write your story of being on the inside of the biggest farce to come down the political pipe in eons!!! Step up, step up. Don’t be shy. You will be rich from royalties, public heros. On every talk show you can find.
Come out from the shadows– tell us the real story of Obama the madman. Operators are standing by.

The guys that speak for them get big pay hikes and fancy perks for backing the bogus dem candidate and spinning till he gets in.
If OB had a shot in hell they would be shooting at him with everything they had.

They only take shots at the real deal, the one who can actually win it.

He can’t so they shoo him in.

There are only something like 10 media corps in the world and everybody is owned by one of them so they make the rules and the toadys follow.

Little blogs that speak truth don’t get many viewers but they sure make more sense.

Notice how rich Huffington and Markos are?

Notice they were republicans. Are they now just dems for a day or for pay?

They’d sell their souls for moolah.

my 2 cents.

I am totally confused as to how Barry got secret clearance or do Senators not have the need for clearance? Of course knowing Bush’s military career he got clearance.

Pat, another great ON POINT cartoon. This guy is Toast. Just wait for the Rezko verdict of GUILTY.
When he’s facing the rest of his life behind bars, he will give up the Gov. and Obama. That will be the end game. Keep it up Pat. WONDERFUL.

Comment by Nancy K | 2008-05-08 08:10:33

I just read that it will be a few weeks before there is a verdict. Then there is time before sentencing IF he is found guilty. Then there’s the question of what the public will ultimately know about what information Rezko will trade for a lighter sentence.
Bottom line: Obama wrote letters on behalf of Rezko and friends to promote their business dealings with Illinois, and Rezko and wife purchased the property next door to Obama’s mansion making possible Obama’s purchase of his mansion for $300,000 less than the asking price, after which Obama bought a strip of Rezko’s property to improve Obama’s - not to mention Rezko’s political and financial support of Obama.
One does not need proof in court to recognize “influence peddling.” What really angers me is that Barack just said, in his most recent “eloquent” speech that we will end the old politics of influence peddling. Either he’s the hypocrite of the day/year/decade/century (?) or he doesn’t want to participate in influence peddling anymore.

I believe that Obama will present a real problem for the GOP in the general election — just which attack ad should they use first?

They have so many to select from. It is bound to have all the GOP consultants arguing and yelling as to which attack to use first.

Maybe we should get up a betting pool: Which attack ad will the GOP run first?

I think that in the near term the GOP will run an attack using Ayers — just like Pat notes in her most excellent cartoon.

However, for the really heavy hit they will run ads that link Obama to Rezko to make the point that (a) Obama is corrupt, (b) Obama’s friend is Auchi (Saddam’s money man), (c ) Obama threw poor people under the bus to get Michelle a nice home, and (d) Obama is a waffler since he gave multiple accounts of his relationship with Rezko.

Then, to finish things out for the general election, they will bring out Wright again (the GD America video is just too good not to keep using) to make the point that Obama gave 6 different explanations of his relationship with Wright — a point that Karl Rove proudly made in recent FOX commentary.

When the repubs get well started with their attack ads (against Obama) he will think that he is getting circumsized with a weed whacker. (I ‘borrowed’ that line from Robin Williams.)

Another great cartoon and appropriate backup commentary by Pat who is becoming a leading political cartoonist. I’m just hoping the Dem delegates are seeing your series of cartoons and comments that very nicely question the poor judgement and electability of Obama. No doubt the Repubs are enjoying your work and will use it if the AA messiah becomes the nominee. Let’s hope they don’t get the opportunity to hone in on the implications of Obama’s history of associating himself with shady characters. And let’s hope the Dem delegates are aware that if Obama is the nominee, McCain will devastate him in an election. Hang in there, Hillary!!!
