Tim Russert Tells You What’s What, m’kay?

Mmm, ‘kay, Mr. Timmy. South Park needs to do a send-up of you.

Well, Taylor March didn’t take KINDLY to Mr. Timmy Russert telling us what to think and how the world is. And I QUOTE:

You loud mouthed, self-important, elitist, John McCain pimping, pile on artist, anti feminist, misogynistic, ego driven, over paid, hack, blow hard, Clinton hating, so 20th century male, mind numbing pontificator, against all things Democratic jackass.

Who elected you to anything? Whose place is it to announce we have a nominee when neither candidate has enough delegates? I’ll tell you who: no one.

You couldn’t get elected to the Senate if your life depended on it [or president of your first grade, I'll add obnoxiously!], and as for the top job, what a laugh.

So here’s some advice for you. Take a trip to Columbia, Missouri and drop by the school of journalism there, the first and finest. Take a couple of classes. Learn what your job really is. Then quit unloading your rhetorical turds on television.

No one cares about your predictions. It’s also embarrassing to see a grown man get paid all that money to make an ass out of himself every day, but especially when it comes to Hillary Clinton. Don’t think for a second we don’t know your real game. It’s been obvious for a very long time.

Woah. Taylor is one tough woman. She also runs a great, hugely successful blog! And she has one of the gentlest hearts and kindest souls. But she is also made of steel. And — like me — she has a NOSE for bullshitting pontificators.

What say you?

She couldn’t. Invested too much in the party (it’s how she can even be candidate in this party system). Sad, because she would be more viable away from the fringe elements of the Democrat party that hates moderates.

What the party has done to Geraldine and Hillary, I wish they both would exit and start a new one. REAL family issues that women understand from day one!

Google “Jeff” or “kevin” or even “john.”

it means people who think they’re strategists, applying a level of amateur offense to ostensibly demoralize their opposition in a clearly inferior manner, mostly due to a lack of skill, or a personality disorder that leaves them defenseless to adequately judge their lack of talent, or even properly assess how their enemy is gaming them.

Most of those work for Cheney, are republican trolls, and/or game for Obama. It’s how we lost Iraq.

You can tell who they are by their shallow affect, their lack of critical thinking skills, and their obtuse thought process.

And Mr PotatoHead needs to shut up.

I guess Obama is just supposed to be the nominee when he doesn’t have more of the popular vote, wants to exclude the voices of two states, and cannot even get the needed delegates…

How is Obama still in this race? he should have bowed out in shame months ago.

Comment by JM | 2008-05-08 00:44:36

There was no rule that stated the candidates needed to remove their names from the ballot. That was a political blunder by Barack Obama, so get that through your thick skull.

As for Barack Obama obtaining the needed number of delegates to clinch the nomination, he can’t do it either. Sorry, but besides not disenfranchising key states in the nominating process which could very well cause a loss of these states to the Republicans in the general election, this is exactly why Florida and Michigan’s votes must be counted.

Comment by Uppity | 2008-05-08 01:27:46

Barky refused to allow a revote. His sycophants in the state senate blocked the bill. One of them smirked into the camera and said, “It’ good to be in the lead”. Obama lost Michigan that day. He did the same in Florida. Obama is a loser right out of the chute, you jerk. NO Democrat can win without those two states. You are a real genius. What was Obama afraid of for those PAID FOR revotes, eh? I’ll wait for your answer. Take your time.

Bzzzzzzzzzzzz! Time up! He was afraid because he knew his skinny ass would be kicked. Now Massachusetts knows he’s a clone of that loser Deval Patrick and for the first time in freaking HISTORY, Mass will not go democrat. Are you following me yet? Good. Now let’s move on to those other states that are swing states. PA and Ohio. You know, those places with all those bitter hicks? Exactly WHO do you think is gong to elect Barack Obama? AAs, old hippies on the bong, radicals and colleges kids? Mississippi? States that haven’t gone Democratic since the SIXTIES? Did anybody let you guys know that Republicans get to vote in November too? just wondering, because I am sitting here trying to figure out who the hell you think is going to elect this slug?

Someone on another blog said that Russert looked more like a little troll dolll! It’s true! If you photoshopped his face and added some of that wiry, long hair up top, you’d see an amazing similarity. I really don’t mean to be cruel, but squint your eyes and visualize it, and you’ll see what I mean.

I lost all respect for Russert a LONG, LONG time ago when he’d interview Bush cronies and never do follow-ups. Brian Williams’ smug little smirks grate on my nerves as well—guess it was the debates that did it. I think there are many bloggers, and tons of the people who leave comments, who are much more talented and have far greater insight than Russert and his cohorts—the folks at CNN are duds too. That’s why I’m totally baffled that people like Russert make the big bucks when they’re wrong on most issues over and over and over again. Now if his profession was labeled “bullshit spewer” instead of “pundit” I might get that.

Comment by requiemforadancer | 2008-05-07 22:29:23

the need to defend a lie results in a false proof, illogical fallacies that confuse and delude the liar.

Like you, like now.

For those manipulating you to think this way, it’s very easy to control your behavior, until your thinking is so confused, and stressed, enraged, you cripple your organization, unable to cope.

You don’t grasp the abstract.

Russert is an embarrassment with zero credibility. Did you see him interview Obama last week, hunched over, sotte voce, with his softball questions – where previously at the Ohio debates he was growling and barking at Hillary Clinton like a rabid dog — I thought he would chew her face off!

He is a cretin. No one cares about his holy opinion.

You know I was actually speaking with three Obama supporters today (I know very few) and by the way, they also like Hillary — and even they were saying — they don’t think she should quit!

So much for Timmy’s pronouncements.

I can’t keep up. And also, if he wanted to be really clever he’d try courting the white women with some HOT VP choice that is also moderate (to piss off the far right W lovers) someone like ohhh say Chuck Hagel? or Cross over and offer it to Wes or how about Joe Wilson? I’d vote for that!

They are marginal no talents, if you take a look at K** for example, his entire” career” is built around almost, and not quite, never a true talent, but in his head, he is just as good as everyone else.

He’s not, no one here would hire him, but Dean would.

He made the assertion the CIA almost hired him, but he turned it down (Bwha!, not quite ready for prime time, huh?), and he was involved in Silicone Valley, but that didn’t quite go either, and now his methods have alienated many of his former readers, resulting in his web page traffic declining, and seeing this, he, and Brazile, rationalize with ” well, we’re NEW talent, they’re old.” The ultimate example of infantile narcissism, like Rumsfeld, say, when Europe stayed away from his kook mess.

Read K## college newspaper work, it reflects specious thought, uncritical thought, the inability to do anything but parrot the memes of the day. So, K** isn’t a thinker, and it’s a HUGE weakness, he’s a parrot. Just like his groups use of Rove’s tactics, a parrot who cuts and pastes, and not very well. Pretty much true of Axelrod, too, the whole Obama experience, really.

WHAT an inept bunch o tools.

So, this is pattern with him, and them, and he, and they, are projecting this pattern onto Obama’s campaign, too.

And it will fail, K**, the whole crew, know nothing BUT failure.

HTH

And they really dont know HOW they’re being used, and it isn’t what they think…

On what was probably one of the toughest days of her campaign so far, with pundits and analysts of all stripes declaring her presidential candidacy finished, Mrs. Clinton put on her battle face Wednesday and confronted what was at times a hostile crowd at a hastily arranged speech here at Shepherd University.

Mrs. Clinton endured boos when she mentioned her proposal for a gasoline tax holiday, catcalls when she spoke of ending the Iraq war and, most difficult of all, the heckling of her daughter, Chelsea, who introduced her.

“End the dynasty!” a young man holding an Obama poster shouted when Chelsea Clinton stepped to the microphone.

But the modestly sized audience applauded at the appropriate times and, except for an unusually large and at times vocal contingent of Obama supporters in the crowd, the appearance went off without incident.

Comment by requiemforadancer | 2008-05-08 08:32:15

And rather than intimidation she looks more ballsy, compared to the effeminates of Obama’s crew.

Gosh, I didn’t know Obama’s crew stripped, part time.

And they dont know what that means.

Thank you, Hillary Clinton. Many will be disappointed if it ends up being the end, and I pray that it doesn’t, but in many ways, the ride was like none other. I will not regret any money donated, the money spent traveling, or the time spent campaigning. Thank you for being a progressive, a true champion of the working class, a champion for us. Thank you for still being there after facing what you did from both sides of the aisle, through the sexism and the insults. None of us could have taken that and still wanted to come to work everyday. You did, because you believed in fighting for us.

When I’ve seen you in person, I can tell that you do care. The warmth, the smile, the humbleness in which you describe yourself with is what endeared you to me on a personal level; caring about people is what you are about. Comment by RC | 2008-05-07 23:42:44

HC, a white wealthy women, calls a black American man raised by a single mother elitist? Please…

HC claims she and McCain are qualified to be pres, but BO is not?

And the 3am phone call commercial…pure Carl Rove

She has no morals.

Comment by tam | 2008-05-08 00:29:24

LOL! 3am ad is “Carl [sic]” Rove to you?!?

How long have you followed politics?

BO is an elitist. Being black doesn’t automatically release you from that title, and neither does being raised by your fairly wealthy white grandparents and growing up in Hawaii.

Please just go away. You shame yourself and Obama with your posts.

Comment by RC | 2008-05-08 00:53:14

You bet 3am is Carl Rove…it is playing on FEAR, which is the Republican, and now HC playbook. She did it again with her “obliterate” Iran comment….the theme: be afraid, but I am tough.(As an aside, I found amusing that HC in the past has tried to avoid “hypotheticals”, but jumped all over this hypothetical scenerio.)

You want more Carl Rove from HC? How about never clearly refuting rumors that he was Muslim.

Listen, it is simple. HC failed. She had the “Clinton Machine” backing her and she couldn’t beat a new/grassroots candidate.
The rats are jumping ship and the Clinton/DLC machine is fading.

Can BO beat McCain? Easy. He’ll make McCain look like what he is: a frail, borderline demented old man. Wai till the debates…The Repubs will try to avoid them, because McCain ain’t no Reagan or Bush…you could put lipstick on those pigs.

LOL

I’m beginning to think they’re right, “jeff” can’t dance, and “jeff” doesn’t get it.

Jeff?

Just call all the wannabe IT boys “jeff.”

When they’re really stupid, but think a lil muscle makes them fiercesome, call them “kevin.”

All “Kevins” are victims of their delusions, as they look like Karl Rove, have no brains, and think they’re as attractive as the former NFL guy man who endorsed Hillary yesterday, from North Carolina.

And they think they’re as bright as Einstein, or K$$, even.

like the party is poised to nominate someone who has very little chance of winning.People seldom vote for the VP so I dont think HRC can help Obama get elected. I think the problem with Obama is not his past associations but that the entire underpinning of his candidacy is weak. There is no real record of bringing people together in private or public life. The vitriol he has inspired in his supporters is hardly reassuring. In order to run any enterprise one needs loyal people around, unfortunately the disloyalty exhibited by some people jumping on his band wagon does not augur well for the future. From Susan Rice and Patrick Deval to robert reich the disloyalty is breath taking. The only understandable reason for their stance would have been a conviction that HRC would have been bad for the country.
The bottom line is that there is no state that Bush won that McCain will lose. He will win NH over obama in the fall. Although HRC would win the GE there is no conceivable way she can carry Obama over the finish line especially if McCain does an “Ike” that i will go to Iraq (again) and stop the war. A run for VP in an unsuccessful bid in an atmosphere where Obama is the media darling would only result in HRC getting blamed for the loss. She should decline the VP spot and do her best to help the down ticket candidates.

lets say BO does win the nomination, it will a by a nose and he moves on to the GE. and lets say we see what HRC and many of her supporters fear/suspect could happen to BO. which is a repeat of 1972 where mcgovern was humiliated like no loser had been humiliated before

Let’s Take it to Denver
by LDFan, Wed May 07, 2008 at 09:59:26 PM EST

There is one simple truth in this campaign:

Whether it’s 2,024 delegates we’re talking about or 2,203; the votes that matter won’t be cast until August.

That’s when between 4400 pledged and unpledged (super) delegates will make their voices heard.

Kennedy waged a battle in 1980 to ensure that “pledged” delegates have the right to switch their vote if they want.

In addition, as Joe Andrew and George McGovern have made clear over the last few days, super delegates can switch at will as well.

So; Hillary Clinton can and should continue her quest for the nomination of the Democratic Party all the way to the floor of the convention!

Why? Because NEITHER candidate will have the ncessary number of pledged delegates by the time voting ends in June! And the super delegates (as well as “pledged” delegates) have an obligation to the party to cast their vote for the person who they feel is the most electable candidate.

As far as I and millions of other Democrats see it, the Obama coalition is the same coaltion that failed to deliver in ‘72, ‘80, ‘84, ‘88, ‘00, & ‘04!

Hillary’s coaltion looks remarkably similar to the one that succeeded in ‘76, ‘92, and ‘96!

I don’t know about you but I’m not about to cede two or three Supreme Court nominations because someone is “ahead” in pledged delegate votes…it ain’t over till it’s over…and that means one thing…Denver!

USA Today:
Wright story: What took so long?

“Barring some really strange math or a lot of second thoughts, the Democrats seem poised to nominate for president a man with the fewest credentials and least familiarity to the American people of anyone in modern history. It’s just one more way that Barack Obama is breaking the mold, and barring a major shift, he should give some of the credit to the news media.”

“Speculation aside, Obama has been ill-served by a press corps that seemingly was mesmerized by the large, frenzied crowds who turn out to see the Democratic rock star. Crowds can be deceiving: McGovern, nobody’s idea of a rock star, attracted huge and exuberant crowds throughout the fall of 1972 — on his way to losing 49 states to Richard Nixon. ”

“More than two years ago, at a Gridiron Club news media dinner in Washington, Obama poked fun at his meager accomplishments when he told his audience: “I want to thank you for all the generous advance coverage you’ve given me in anticipation of a successful career. When I actually do something, we’ll let you know.”"

Courage under fire

May 8, 2008

To those of you who fight on to propel Hillary to the nomination:

Hillary needs funds and volunteers. Please visit her Website for more information. If you are working hard for her and not distracted by the MSM propaganda and trolls, no need to read any further — you “get it.”

The Obama/MSM propaganda machine is pulling out all the stops as usual telling Hillary she has to quit. They do this periodically. Do you see Hillary quitting? No, because she does not have to. This race is even, in the sense both candidates will make it over the primary finish line. Remember that. And Remember that’s the help Hillary needs for us right now is our positive energy, focus and actions on her behalf.

Drop the “what if McCain vs. Obama” stuff, unless you want to be dragged down. That’s future worry and is counterproductive.

This situation is not complicated at all:

1.) The Obama/MSM propaganda machine continues to whine about really nothing that important. If this was over as the Obama/MSM propaganda machine demands it is, it would be over. But reality is, it is not over. Let the reality in front of your eyes and ears guide you as to what reality is — not what some biased asshole like Chris Matthews tells you it is.

2.) Both candidates will cross the primary finish line as both camps have been heavily lobbying the delegates.

3.) Reports of delegates doing this and that is posturing. Until they force someone out en mass, both candidates remain in the game. Having anxiety over this is pointless and is a diversion and saps one’s energy to fight for Hillary. Remember, the focus is on winning.

4.) The candidate with the best argument to the delegates, wins.

Obviously, by and large the delegates are having serious doubts about Obama. They don’t like the idea he is blackmailing our nation with the threat of race-riots. They also don’t like his serious baggage. Obama can’t close the deal and the delegates know Hillary is the best choice. The delegates are looking for cover so they can wrap this up.

Based on logic, Hillary is inevitable as our nominee: she is the clear and only choice, unless the Democratic Party wants to commit political suicide yet again. If they do, they do. But I don’t think so. The irrational Clinton haters will just have to get over their anger.

Hillary supporters need to fight on and get her to the finish line. She is a master politician and she and her team will handle the private lobbying and come out on top.

So keep up the good fight, Hillary is inevitable! Don’t worry about her failing — that’s beyond your control anyway. We move forward assuming the Party will do the right thing. We lobby the party to do the right thing. And future worry is anxiety and as I said, that saps your energy.

Our foes will try to use fear and anxiety to stop us. Tune them out, and like Hillary, roll up your sleeves and get the job done! Hillary has set an amazing example of courage under fire. Don’t wimp out on her now! We are almost to checkmate!

My Daughter and I Met Hillary Tonight!
by alegre, Wed May 07, 2008 at 11:54:44 PM EST

Wow! Just Wow!

What a great day! An event that started out with a goal of bringing together 1,000 women, and maybe raising half a million dollars turned out to be an even bigger success than expected. They completely sold out and then some guys – we were 1,400 strong and together we brought in over $1 MILLION for Hillary’s history-making run for the White House!

My daughter and I got down to the event at around 4 or so – just in time for the check-in. The campaign thought ahead – goodie bags were at the ready for the kids so they wouldn’t get fussy or hungry. Just the thing for an excited and bouncy 7 year old.

Each table host was encouraged to name a woman who they admire or has made a difference in their lives. The honoree at our table was Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones, who has worked night and day on behalf of her friend Hillary.

Everyone’s been working hard for our gal – and I think this video says it all as to why..

I now believe he would be the weakest of the Democrat nominees,” Limbaugh, among the most powerful voices in conservative radio, said on his program. “I now urge the Democrat supereldegates to make your mind up and publicly go for Obama.”

“Barack Obama has shown he cannot get the votes Democrats need to win – blue-collar, working class people,” Limbaugh also said. “He can get effete snobs, he can get wealthy academics, he can get the young, and he can get the black vote, but Democrats do not win with that.”

For months, Limbaugh has urged his listeners in states with open primaries to cross party lines and support Clinton in an effort he has dubbed “Operation Chaos.” The conservative talk show host has said the Republican Party will benefit from a protracted Democratic race that grows more bruising by the week.

It remains unclear how much influence Limbaugh has actually wielded. The Obama campaign estimates 7 percent of Clinton’s vote in Indiana could be attributed to cross-over Republicans. According to Indiana exit polls, Clinton did win the Republican vote by 8 percentage points, but those voters only made up 10 percent of the electorate.

Obama supporter John Kerry credited Clinton’s win entirely to Limbaugh.

“Rush Limbaugh was tampering with the primary,” he said on an conference call with reporters. “If it was not for Republicans taking Democratic ballots, [Obama] would have won.”

But CNN Senior Political Analyst Bill Schneider disagrees.

“There is a slightly measurable Rush Limbaugh effect but it is not the reason she won Indiana,” he said. “She dominated the Democratic vote, and two-thirds of the voters were Democratic.”

Self-identified Republicans voting in previous Democratic primaries have been more evenly split between Clinton and Obama. In Ohio, they broke 49 percent to 49 percent, and in Texas Obama won the Republican vote by 7 points.

I KNEW IT!! We’ve been hoodwinked, and that Limbaugh got much of the party in the ass. Not to mention, John Kerry once again proves his idiocy.

Yesterday, there was only one narrative: the Democratic race is over.

TIME has a cover offering an Obama victory pic.

Broadcast media had their list, as captured by Jim Rutenberg in the NY Times

From The Hill):

“I, as you know, have great fondness and great respect for Sen. Clinton and I’m very loyal to her,” [Dianne] Feinstein said. “Having said that, I’d like to talk with her and [get] her view on the rest of the race and what the strategy is.

Clinton, who eked out a win in Indiana Tuesday night but lost big to front-runner Sen. Barack Obama (Ill.) in North Carolina, has not responded to Feinstein’s phone call, the California senator said.

“I think the race is reaching the point now where there are negative dividends from it, in terms of strife within the party,” Feinstein said. “I think we need to prevent that as much as we can.”

TIME TO STAND UP FOR
YOUR COUNTRY AND IT’S TRUE IDEALS…
vs. just one person and party.

STAND UP for AMERICA.
STOP the in-fighting.
START CLEANING UP THE MESS
THE NEO-CONS
DUMPED ON US AND THE WORLD.

Funny thing about the Taylor article and Russert and her finding that video today of him saying the opposite on the day after PA. He said she’d be in it till denver if she won Indiana. He flipflopped.

As for the obamatroll psy-op army. That’s how I got my name. It was one way they couldn’t pretend to be me. On other boards I was active and then suddenly there were three other Karen’s posting who were for obama and acting like they changed their mind from Hillary and referenced thing’s I’d written there as if it was their own.

They did that to many of the regulars.

I don’t think they would use “for Clinton” so it is a safe bet it won’t be hijacked.

They also hijacked Taylor Marsh’s name on some sites. Scum.
