Cavuto Hands Desperate Obama Adolescent Her Head On A Plate

Please witness why it’s always nice to get some experience in life before you leave the Little League and become a “strategist”, Mmm-Kay? And always remember, the one who screetches using the highest octaves always wins by sheer head explosion, even without the nervous laughs.

Flavia, here’s your head on a plate. Study. Learn.

One thing I do think Flavia is accidentally right about. McGovern is very significant. But not for the reason she thinks. Of course, how would she know that considering she probably doesn’t know squat about McGovern. McGovern sees himself in Barack Obama and wants to try to at least minimize the November slaughter.

Good for Cuvuto!

Anti-American Democrat Party Bosses Cost Hillary the Nomination

For the record, of the top 10, Obama won the primaries in Illinois (his home state), Georgia, and North Carolina. Hillary won the rest.

Florida is number 4 and Michigan is number 8, and the 28 million people in those states will not have their votes counted in selecting the Democrat candidate. And why is that? Because one man, Howard Dean, from the little state of Vermont, said so. It is that simple. Florida and Michigan defied the orders of the Democratic party bosses to leave their primary dates alone, and Dean, the leader of the party, threw a tantrum and refused to count their votes.

What is this, Communist China? Since when does a person unelected by the people decide that the votes of American citizens do not count? Isn’t that the definition of disenfranchisement? Well actually yes it is. From Merriam-Webster (italics in original).

Disenfranchise: transitive verb - to deprive of a franchise, of a legal right, or of some privilege or immunity; especially: to deprive of the right to vote.

… So Obama can’t win without the Democrat National Committee cheating for him.

To all our Democrat friends: Doesn’t it make you proud?

Didn’t you love the way that batch went on — Hillary is hurting our Party. Well I could tell her that there are 50% of Americans who believe that Obama, Howard Dean and Donna Brazile are the ones who are hurting The Democratic Party. Then the batch said — Hillary can run but she should not be allowed to run attack ads against Obama. Its amazing isn’t it. So now the party who believed in the little guy is the party that is going to tell one candidate what kind of ads she should be able to run. I am going to leave this party before it implodes. Hillary should run as an Independent to save the Democratic Party from itself.

If this is indicative of the “new young voter” of which Obamacrats brag, we are in serious trouble. How about “new young voters with functioning brain cells and the ability to speak without the use of talking points”. Or is that too long? Maybe just “voters with brains, new or otherwise”?

I would hope that an old hand like Cavuto, whom I have loathed these many years, was smart enough to chose some brainless little twit to make him look good? No?

Otherwise, the “new young voter” is a drag on the whole Democratic Brand. We all ready have numerous ignorant twits in the party shooting off their mouths and posing as pundits anytime they get a chance to get their “fix” of attention on camera. (Bob Shrum anyone?)

Flavia may be better looking than Shrum but she’s no improvement in the I.Q. department.

I need to go lay down. Because I must be hallucinating if I am actually glad that a cretin like Cavuto just made a bigger fool, than God all ready made her, out of a Democrat.

He was “hurting America” by attempting to find out who won.

Of all people, I’d have expected him to tell people to wait until every vote is counted! Especially the overeager DNC!

Er, not so fast! Obama did not contest FL or MI, so to call that a “win” is sort of silly. And he got more delegates out of Texas (mainly because the dumbfcuk Hillary campaign never learned how to do a caucus). You know what else is interesting, though: he got more of a vote margin in Illinois than she did in NY. I guess he’s just more popular at home than she is.

Wonder how he did in the next ten?

Five five split (including the veritable tie in Indiana).

21 through 30? 7 of the 8 contested so far. Uh, oh . . .

31 through 40? 7 of the 9 contested so far.

41 through 50? 7 of the 8 contested so far.

There is your winning margin . . . kicking ass in the mid-sized states beats squeaking by in the large states.

Comment by requiemforadancer | 2008-05-08 19:17:35

Spin it all you want, but you’re still trying to prove a negative.

Your lying, and you know it, and if you don’t, you’re confused.

And this is where judgement comes in, it’s about a lot more than stealing a nomination for Obama, and you either can’t, or won’t, see it.

And we depend on that, goddammit.

Comment by dpvegas | 2008-05-08 19:26:01

Running an honest campaign is dumb? Wow. Having been in the Caucus state of Nevada, his campaign left a lot to be desired, and his ads were all smears on her, hers were on issues.

I was undecided until those fliers got into my mailbox, then it was Hillary all the way!

Comment by MC | 2008-05-09 03:44:08

B-Rob,

Please tell we doubters and non-believers the totals for Texas.

Exactly what was or is the final delegate count that you so proudly refer to.

Could it be that you do not actually have a total? Could it be that all you have is your “messianic hope” regarding said totals?

Texas’s delegates have not yet been allocated, despite the protestations of you and your ilk. The convention is in June. They will be allocated then. Until then, all you and anyone else can put forth is pure speculation.

No. It has nothing to do with her arguments in favor of Obama and against Hillary. She is ridiculous and silly and her arguments don’t stand up to basic logic or basic math — but that is no reason to attack her physical appearance. It is offensive when people do the same to Hillary — but it is still sexist even when it’s done to people we don’t like.

Really, if these are Obama’s strategists, there’s no way he can be winning honestly.

Comment by kenoshaMarge | 2008-05-09 07:40:58

I’ve often wondered how one gets the designation of “strategist”. If her strategy was to go on national television and allow a Republican Cretin to make an absolute fool out of her, she succeeded admirably. If she intended anything other than parroting Obamacrats talking points, it was a total flop.

I like young women as much as anyone, I was one once myself. Fortunately when I was young and foolish I didn’t get the opportunity to showcase my silliness before a national audience.

Yes, on one of those CNN appearances she referred to Sen. Clinton as “that woman”. She is just another Clinton hating misogynist. I really like that she says “people wouldn’t mind” if Sen. Clinton continues to run as long as she tones it down a bit. In the last two primaries Sen. Clinton received approx. 1.3 million votes out of 2.7 million cast. I guess that’s because “people don’t mind” her continuing her campaign.

Comment by Mitzi Morris | 2008-05-08 19:30:11

She needs lessons on how to use her diaphragm instead of her whiney nose for starters. Then she needs to take some SERIOUS debate courses. Then she needs to actually go get some life experience and some POLITICAL experience. Till then, she needs to go have a nice desk job and chew some gum or something. she’s a child. Her entire demeaner is childish. She is unhoned, inexperienced and has a huge hole in her knowledge base. Of course, when it comes to Obama, there isn’t much substance to talk about other than the ad nauseum generalized ‘talking points’ given to them. Anyone seen this in Indiana as well, stuff just comes out day after day, now shouldn’t Superdelegate Connie Thurman be removed from pledging? This throws more proof of Obama using dirty Chicago Politics!

500 UAW absentee ballots rejected in Indiana
Posted in: Absentee Ballots, Election Journal, Indiana, MR | May 1st, 2008
The Kokomo Tribune reports more than 500 absentee ballot applications in Howard County will be rejected because they were filled out by officials with the United Auto Workers.

Howard County Clerk Mona Myers said the part of the application that designated what party ballot was being requested in the May 6 primary election, the type of ballot and the reason for requesting an absentee ballot were filled out in advance.

Myers said state law prohibits anyone from giving out a pre-filled in absentee ballot application. She said all the applications received were for Democratic Party ballots.

This could be a blow to the Obama camp - although Indiana UAW has not endorsed a candidate in the Democratic Primary, Obama was endorsed by UAW in the Iowa Caucuses (maybe);

Indiana Superdelegate Connie Thurman, a political representative for UAW, has committed her vote to Obama

All the help he gives us is GREAT. Every time he puts his nose in the air, i can just FEEL the votes hitting the ground. This is all just so perfect. Right out of the 72 playbook, only now we have the internet where his nutcase supporters can put things in writing.

Here is the latest mini scandal. A phone conversation with Clinton was recorded and she was heard to say that she is the more mainstream candidate because she can get white workers and Obama can’t or won’t. RACISM. I didn’t know we can’t say white people anymore. Funny Obama can say he hates white people but Hillary can’t say white people even if she likes them They are also angry at Paul Begalla for saying to Donna Brazile–you can’t win an election with eggheads and African Americans. It was Brazile who said the Democratic Party didn’t need White workers or Hispanics. But it wasn’t racist when she said it — hmmmmm so the lesson is its only racist when a white person who support Hillary Clinton speaks.

Some how this lady and other Obama supporters cannot comprehend that other people feel Obama is just not qualified to be president. There seems to be this entitlement that if they feel that way all others are wong.

In fact he has a lot of characteristics similar to George W Bush in terms of experince and he will be rolled by the legislaters or lobbyists. Now he may win the nomination, but do not think that every one has the same favorable view of Obama. In fact I think he will be worse than George Bush.

In the same token we can be cute about Michigan voters now being elegible to be counted. This goes against all forms of Democracy and gets us back to the Poll Tax concepts. You have to think the parties way or forget it.

Most of all Obama shows his inability to address the issues as demonstrated in the debates. As soon as he is off script, he starts fumbling and takes a long time to address the question.

If Obama gets the nomination, it will be in large part on race and that is something we were supposed to be against. Race does not qualify a person for president. International Experience and legislative expereince are key factors. He has demonstrated nothing in these two area’s. All of his legislation ended up in folding to the lobbyists or the Republicans.

Sorry - this persons view is that McCain will do less damage. At least Hillary will be a articulate president versus a repeat of George Bush in terms of stumbling when off script

Comment by Judith | 2008-05-08 19:07:04

Meanwhile we have two real grown ups, McCain & Clinton, who have political battle scars to prove that they can get back up and keep fighting.

Shall anyone again answer what has Obama done in politics, love how stupid voters for him look when unable to answer a single question like that! But WTF because Obama says so, he determines the outcome, hardly! The only outcome he will determine is the destruction of the Democratic Party!

Flavia is yet another one of those “analysts” that make you wonder wtf the qualifications must be to call yourself one. How utterly embarrassing that woman was! I apologize to everyone on behalf of the blonde females of America, I promise you — we’re not ALL that vapid.

I love how she throws out these point and Cavuto just slaps ‘em back at her, so she changes her point and tries again, and so on and so on. Obama does not have the math, and he’s going by the BS DNC NEW math, anyway.

As far as that rockstair welcome in the Capitol. What a fucking egotistical asshole. He wants the title, not the job. He hasn’t done jackshit to deserve the presidency. I just love how Flavia the Wise told us that it would be unfair to “disenfranchise” all those new voters for Obama. Well.. hate to say this but if they couldn’t get their apathetic asses to the polls before Obama came along, then why should their votes be anymore important than people who have faithfully supported ALL Democrats? They’re like sports fans that suddenly love the local team when they get into the playoffs….

Comment by pm317 | 2008-05-08 19:58:29

This woman is on national television being rude and disrespectful, smug, and aggressive. That “kid” is telling a member of the Armed Services Committee when SHE should drop out of the race for President. She deserves no break from us… she calls her self a political strategist, she is fair game.

Interesting how she managed to slip the little “let’s split MIs delegates 50/50″ idea in there. Too bad Cavuto didn’t catch that one — I don’t know how they manage to argue that Obama should not only get the uncommitted votes, but also some of Hillary’s. I would liked to have seen her try to explain that one — there is no rational argument for it, and she was already getting a little heated.

Still not the worst Obama surrogate to be embarrassed on tv — I think that distinction still goes to that TX State Senator who couldn’t name even one Barack Obama accomplishment.

Comment by Mel | 2008-05-08 19:38:01

And we will see plenty of him in the fall if Obama is the nominee and won’t be Obama using it as an advertisement!

Comment by Iphie | 2008-05-08 19:43:22

Very true — it will be one more thing Obama and his supporters seem ill prepared to face. I thought it was interesting that Flava said that she would rather face the questions from Republicans than from Hillary — well, if he answered them fully and to the satisfaction of the voters, he wouldn’t have to face them again at all. When the Republicans ask, is Obama going to have better answers?

Comment by Patrick Walker | 2008-05-08 21:24:37

What they also seem to suffer from is the idea that McCain’s popularity is short-term.

I’m not so sure myself anymore. Do I think the MSM is going to turn on McCain? Do they ever turn on the Republican nominee? When was the last time this ever happened? Anyone?

Comment by Uppity | 2008-05-08 21:31:58

Republicans fall into line. After they are done painting Obama as a “taxer” and a race baiter, after his surrogates start blathering and scaring the shit out of everyone, the Republicans will all be voting early on election day just to make sure they don’t gets stuck in the long lines.

As for the MSM, I would like to remind you that they gave us George Bush. Twice. They are merely seasoning Obama for the roast. They want him to run. He’s easy prey for the republicans. When all of his middle eastern ties get revealed, people will be fighting to the polls to get rid of him, including democrats. All the Reagan democrats will go for him. The mere idea that Republicans or any kind are in love with Barack Obama is sheer delusion. Most of the DEMOCRATS I know can’t even stand him.

I remember this type from the “good ol days”. They were the “true believers” that could parrot every slogan and had the rhetoric down pat. They also put down and insulted anyone that didn’t agree with them and whoever was their particular “hero” of the day.

They were the “you’re either part of the solution or you’re part of the problem” crowd. The problem with that was that the only “solution” was what they envisioned.

Oh yeh, I’ve seen “Flavia” before. And it was because of her and those like her that many of the things we wanted to accomplish back in the day never happened. When you alienate a substantial portion of the electorate you cannot win. The “Flavias” then didn’t understand that back then and this “Flavia” doesn’t understand now.

She might learn something if she just shut up once in a while; but her type never does. Tiresome little twits like Flavia have no idea how tiresome they are. Too impressed with themselves.

One question never answered by Obama, and never really asked, but is a vital one requiring asking and will be asked by the GOP is:

Obama has 2 core bases, the SDS/MDS movements of students and the Elite Wall Street Subprime Bankers and War Industrialists and Power Utility Companies on the other side, that is Obama’s base, plain and simple!

Obama’s money till has been basically split, although the registrations of donations realistically lean far more to the Industry side than what he promotes as the every day people side!

So being indebted to the new world Lobbyists, is that who Obama is going to support should he be POTUS or is it the SDS/MDS he will support, both have opposite determinations, Industry wants more moeny, SDS/MDS wants shared wealth!

So Obama which is it?

We saw once, on Tv, a documentary on some of Al sadr’s followers, and really, they had no clue WHY they did what they did, they were led to believe a gun was enough, they chanted, the whole nine yards, but the expression on the guys face was one of confusion, he looked like he’d rather be raising his family.

So, as much as I despise Al Sadr, I couldn’t in good conscience hold this “follower” responsible, because his leaders failed and manipulated him.

As annoying as this woman is, I see the same thing in her, a kid.

I know Flavia. I really Like Flavia. I have a secret crush on Flavia. She is a very bright and VERY ambitous woman…

And there lies the rub…

Flavia has aligned herself completely inside the Arianna orbit…

She was a good supporter of the Clintons until post Ohio - when she wrote a column for her paper the Phila daily News endorsing Obama. (She lives in both LA and Philly - shes the one person to ever do this Id bet)

I expected it, but it still saddened me greatlyt….

I have seen her twice on tv giving idiotic Obama talking points…this time and another.

The other was MUCH WORSE! (she went into the Bush/Clinton/Bush/Clinton stuff and may have even mentioned Bosnia.

Arrrgh!

I do have a crush on the woman (I LUV her voice) - but she is what we call a Harvard Puke….shes just ano9ther elitest…and during this years divide…those folks look down on the Clintons as hillbillies and Obama and his wife as “classy”.

Its tragic ya know…now Flav and I can never …you know….

Seymour,
Whenever you begin to feel the LUV for Fellatia or Flavia, or Miss Flavorful, just remember to put on the ruby red shoes, click them together over and over again and yell out “NO I CAN”T”!

And don’t forget to throw salt over your shoulders to ward off the Obamatrancers!

The voice of reason trying to argue with the typical Obama cult programming. It was like watching the proverbial train wreck. Thanks for the laugh.

Can’t stop LOL at this Flavia idiot; she is bloviating nonstop talking nonsense: first this is “mathematically impossible” then she says ” I am here to say my opinion; I don’t know about the math” Which one is it Good for the anchor that stop her BS…. Can’t believe the Dems have the low IQ morons involved in a US Pres. race…. If they were on TV speaking for a company they would be fired as soon as the show ended….
This Flavia is really embarrassing….
Who is she?

I have to wonder, with all these morons runing to make the case for “the one” that cannot make it on her own; will they be involve in his Adm at all? What a disaster….These people are one more reason Obama would be a disaster as Pres. look who has he surrounded himself with…. I wouldn’t delegate to this these people even a simple memo.

Although a Hillary supporter, I do agree that Obama will get the nomination. The nomination can be bought, yes it can. However, please don’t make the same mistake Brazille and Hart are making - oh, and did I mention Obama? - that Clinton supporters will automatically turn their support over to Obama. Those who are going over to McCain - including me - number around 40% now. Gee, that’s how many millions of votes that Obama can NOT count on? :) And before you call me “racist,” I’ll add that if Philly’s mayor were running for president instead of Obama, we wouldn’t be blogging like this. We wouldn’t have to, because we’d probably be behind the same candidate.

You guys are kidding me right?

You’re applauding someone on FOX News right now. Soon you’ll be behind Rush for his (now rescinded) support of Hillary. The only reason these people show support for the former First Lady is because they’re sure that she’s the weaker candidate in the Democratic race.

I hope, after Hillary drops out, that you’re not So caught up in your dislike of Obama that you end up voting for McCain.

There’s no reason to cut off your nose in order to spite your face.

Comment by Seymour Glass | 2008-05-08 20:40:02

ill never vote for barry.

Comment by Uppity | 2008-05-08 20:54:54

Let me be clear here. If Rush can help make sure Barack Obama lands in the political graveyard where he belongs, that works for me too. The moderates in this party are the majority and we are sick and tired of you whackjob radicals and children trying to hijack the party just because you can’t make it in the Marx party. Each and every time you try it, you go down in flames. This time we have to make sure it’s even MORE clear that adults do not let radicals, college kids and old hippies that are still on the bong pick presidents. All bets are off. And yes, plenty of democrats will be voting for McCain. Just like last time you tried to turn our country into an assinine Marxist state.

Comment by NemoOmen | 2008-05-08 21:07:38

No one here is a Marxist. I’m arguing for who I think is the stronger candidate.

Also, if by “hijacking” you mean “voting in general elections”, I suppose that’s exactly what we’ll be doing. If, by some miracle, Hillary lands the nomination I’ll punch the Chad next to her nameand reflect on the last eight years of Republican disastership while I do it.

I do not like Hillary as a candidate or leader but I can get over it in order to keep the real elitists out of office.

Comment by Uppity | 2008-05-08 21:24:23

By hijacking I mean putting us in a position where we have a loser for a nominee, brought to us by the left cliff academics and radicals who can’t make it in fringe parties. Because they rear their ugly heads every decade, we have only had two, count them TWO Democratic presidents in THIRTY years. Now we are looking at another McGovern. The majority of Democrats just don’t take well to college kids bullying them. They make that clear at the polls every time. WHen Recreate68 shows up at the convention, you can kiss all the baby boomer votes good bye too. They Remember these assholes from another time and place organizing The Children. We are supposed to be electing a president here, not the latest rock star. Barack Obama is the MoGovern candicacy all over again, and I am telling you with A HUNDRED percent certainty, the moderate democrats will reject him handily. Dukakis (another one of their picks they forced upon us) will look like a star when Barack Obama is done getting wiped out in this general election. Adults just plain do not let radicals and children elect presidents. And so we will have lost another one, thanks to the fringe who are very good at tempting The Children.

The Republicans have a comparative moderate running. All those “bitter hicks” will have NO problem voting for him. Barack OBama has handily managed to alienate himself from most of America. But then that’s the hallmark of a candidate championed by academics and radicals chomping at the bit to bring back the days of revolution, rage and riots. Barack Obama will never be president in a year when we will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Because most democrats aren’t going to vote for him just because he has a “D” after his name. I haven’t been around all that short of a time, and I can tell you without hesistation that Barack Obama has set race and gender relations back at least 30 years. And that is why most women despise him.

Comment by Lillian | 2008-05-09 06:48:52

I can tell you without hesistation that Barack Obama has set race and gender relations back at least 30 years. And that is why most women despise him.

The black people have to wake up and demand a better candidate than this clown. He’s going to set them back decades - especially when his dirty laundry is aired.

Instead of reading the signs now seeing that he doesn’t support them. Realizing that his voting record and Chicago antics did not favor the poor he claimed to represent but sold them down the river is enough to start the debates.

It is very sad to see that AA’s will blindly accept any black candidate. If there’s one thing they learn from this campaign, is not to repeat the same mistake. He is using their votes to lead them to the slaughter and they’re encouraging him.

Their leaders have let them down. At the very least these should have vetted BO and asked to see his plan for enriching the AAs. Especially after he voted for the Class Action Fairness Act in 2005 (http://www.counterpunch.org/martens05052008.html) which does not favor AAs. This despite receiving a plea from the NAACP to refrain. The NAACP should have called him up on this but chose to keep quiet. What will happen when he does this again Or even worse?

I’d like to think their vote should not be taken for granted. It has to be earned. Just as its done for other races.

Sugar N Spice says it best in her article “Obamas chick o the side: Black America” (http://sugarnspice.typepad.com/sugar_n_spicea_meeting_pl/2008/05/obamas-chick-on.html)

Actually, I’ve changed my mind. I’m not going to vote for any of these people. I’ll vote, I just can’t even stand to read about or take part in this discussion. We’re talking about how Cavuto verbally sparred with a twenty two year old about politics instead of talking about anything substantive. We’re being fed silly garbage about electibility by advertisers and at the same time our extranational detention facilities are known to be “the worst in history”.

I can’t take any more discussion about preachers and political endorsements, discussion that wants to lend false credibility to a silly show made by entities whose only interest is base manipulation.

I apologize for calling anyone anything they didn’t like being called and for misspelling Kool-Aid©

Comment by Ellis | 2008-05-08 20:58:06

Cavuto did a good job of analyzing the actual data and dismissing the adolescent shots of Flavia. That it happened on Fox is amazing, but then doesn’t Obama advocate “reaching across the aisle” and at least considering alternative viewpoints? Is an Obama supporter telling me that we should automatically dismiss the analyses of people that are across the aisle? Wouldn’t that be politics as usual? Comments like that would pretty much explain why I support Hillary.

Comment by Patriotic Lion | 2008-05-08 21:06:26

Why are the trolls whining about Fox News? Answer: because Flavia fucked up. If she did well there would be no “Faux News” negativity stuff. You would not hear even a mouse fart out of them whining about Fox.

As is typical for Obama and his troll WORMS they always blame everyone but themselves.

You still believe that weaker candidate crap, do you? Did you see her on Bill O’ hostile territory? Let us see that waffleman of yours replicate that performance to a fraction. Fox knows that idiots like you are doing enough to prop him up and make him the nominee even though he has not shown any strength in building a diverse coalition. You are all praying that Hillary supporters automatically fall in line with him. No such luck. He is not their kind — no I don’t mean race and don’t even go there — he is an arrogant snob with his elitist attitude and middle America has rejected him in the primary and even scared of the prospect of this unprepared hack of a candidate and why do you all think that they will come back to him?
No, republicans are very happy that you morons have been propping that weaker candidate — they don’t have to lift a finger right now. They like fighters and winners and they see both in Clinton. But of course, she can’t win against the ignorance of people like you.

Comment by Patrick Walker | 2008-05-08 22:07:06

Obama is not an elitist.

He’s the political equivalent of Tofu. It takes on whatever a person needs him to be. For liberals, he’s a liberal. For a bipartisan moderate, he’s a bipartisan moderate. For the transcendent racial candidate, he’s the transcendent racial candidate. For people who want “vision” and “hope”, he provides both.

In another age, he’d be selling snake oil. He’s no McGovern at all but the end effect will be same.

Comment by Truth | 2008-05-08 21:47:23

Comment by Denise-Mary | 2008-05-08 23:48:58

Please see my comment above. I will never, in this lifetime, cast a vote for Obama. McCain’s looking better all the time to this lifelong Democrat - not to mention also looking good to oh, about 40% of Clinton’s supporters. Calculate how many millions of votes that is, and then watch the senator from Illinois crumble in the GE.

Comment by Mimi Schaeffer | 2008-05-08 20:45:25

Please, don’t go so far as to vote for Me Cain in November. Just think, for a moment, on what a tragedy that would be. Imagine McCain winning the white House on the backs of jilted Hillary supporters.

Comment by Hope | 2008-05-08 20:54:46

Well then these idiot party leaders had better start thinking about Hillary’s supporters and just how BITTER we will be! WE WILL NEVER VOTE FOR SNARKO!

Now there’s that “Bitter” word! Very good.

If you mean do I despise that sexist pig Barack Obama along with his online surrogates enough to vote for McCain? Yes. I do. I would vote for a cockroach before I would vote for Barack Obama. Is that clear enough?

Comment by NemoOmen | 2008-05-08 21:15:13

No, not bitter, sane not to give the election to someone who isn’t prepared to be president of the US, is surrounded by neophytes and imbeciles who think they know anything, losers and people who have really bad ideas.
Obama is a danger and our country and our world comes before “the party”; especially with the current DNC headship and talking heads that take pride in
disenfranchising millions of people, that went to the polls. It is the most undemocratic and shameful thing they are doing: it is treason of democratic values.

I can live with four years of comatosed presidency. It beats Recreating 68. In four years, he will be chasing a real democratic candidate around in his wheel chair. That con job Obama won’t be a problem because he will still be in a fetal position from the bashing he’s going to get. It’s worth the wait.

Oh Goodie! I am listening to more Race Cards on TV. Pretty soon nobody will be able to string a sentence. Vocabulary is getting smaller and smaller. I am so thrilled to see Obama choke on his own Racism.

One minute of Barack Obama is a nail in my coffin. I will do all I can to make sure that Barack Obama doesn’t Recreate68. And you would too, if you had any maturity. But you don’t Know. You only know what you have been fed. You don’t recognize what’s there. I don’t blame you. But I will not let you ruin America by picking this radical sexist, racist turd who has all kinds of gremlins haunting him as my president. I will not give credibility to Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. I will not give credibility to Pakistan. I will not give credibility to a candidate who conjurs up something I have seen before that did nothing but cause rifts and pain. Barack Obama must never be president.

I strongly think an Obama presidency will be quite damaging for the party. Will the Republicans ever forgive this? If this is the ‘best’ the party can deliver, they’ll not be voting a Dem for a long long time. Even Bush will look like an angel and his ’sins’ rationalized.

Seriously, if you can bring yourself too, consider McC and wince for the next 4 years. Much better than getting embarrassed and cringing whenever the Obama clan open their collective mouths…

And somebody please ask Hillary not to run a joint ticket with Obama She’ll be forever tainted by this and will not be able to run in 2012. Seriously!

Yeah we know the troll talking points:

* Fox News is bad. (MSNBC can do no wrong)

* Hillary has to drop out for the good of (Der Fuhrer Obama’s NAZI) party (that he is trying to take over with threats of riots and race-baiting tactics.)

* We are electing McCain and are Switboating (poor baby) Obama.

Blah blah blah.

Obama can’t close the deal, he doesn’t have and won’t have the delegates to clinch. We can add. Get it?

And the delegates will do the right thing because we and the Hillary campaign will convince them to.

It’s not that complicated and we see through all the noise, spin and misdirection.

FYI

Web Exclusive: My Neighbor, Barack

by Rabbi Arnold Jacob Wolf
Special to the Jewish Week

Not everyone can claim to be the neighbor of a Presidential candidate - I can, though, because I am.

Barack Obama’s Chicago home is across the street from KAM Isaiah Israel, the Hyde Park synagogue at which I’ve served for 27 years. He spoke to our congregation as an Illinois state senator; more recently, his Secret Service agents have made use of our, shall we say, facilities.

But it’s not neighborly instinct that’s led me to support the Obama candidacy: I support Barack Obama because he stands for what I believe, what our tradition demands.

We sometimes forget, but an integral part of that tradition is dialogue and a willingness to disagree. Certainly many who call me their rabbi have taken political positions far from mine - just as Barack Obama’s opinions have differed from those of his former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

On March 18, the candidate gave a speech that made abundantly clear that he and Wright often disagree. Obama condemned Wright’s “incendiary language,” and “views that have the potential not only to widen the racial divide, but… that denigrate both the greatness and the goodness of our nation.”

Of course, race is only one issue on which Wright has stepped beyond the bounds of civil discourse. He’s frequently made statements regarding Israel and the Jewish community that I find troubling. But to limit our understanding of Obama to the ill-conceived comments of the man who once led his church is dishonest and self-defeating.

Obama’s strong positions on poverty and the climate, his early and consistent opposition to the Iraq War, his commitment to ending the Darfur genocide - all these speak directly to Jewish concerns. If we’re sidetracked by Wright’s words, we’ll be working against these interests. After all, a preacher speaks to a congregation, not for the congregation.

Many people remain concerned that Obama isn’t committed to Israel. Some want him to fall in line behind the intransigent, conservative thinking that has silenced Jewish debate on Israeli policy and enabled the Bush Administration’s criminal neglect of the diplomatic process.

Clearly, though, anyone who thinks Obama waffles on Israel hasn’t been paying attention. In 2007, he spoke to AIPAC about “a clear and strong commitment to the security of Israel.” Today, his website states clearly that America’s “first and incontrovertible commitment in the Middle East must be to the security of Israel.”

For my part, I’ve sometimes found Obama too cautious on Israel. He, like all our politicians, knows he mustn’t stray too far from the conventional line, and that can be disappointing. But unlike anyone else on the stump, Obama has also made it clear that he’ll broaden the dialogue. He knows what peace entails.

Speaking recently before a Jewish audience in Cleveland, Obama did the unthinkable - he challenged the room. He talked about the need to ask “difficult questions” on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict: “I sat down with the head of Israeli security forces,” he said “and his view of the Palestinians was incredibly nuanced…. There’s good and there’s bad, and he was willing to say sometimes we make mistakes… and if we’re just pressing down on these folks constantly, without giving them some prospects for hope, that’s not good for our security.”

Yet, in spite of all of Obama’s strengths, we’ve been loathe to admit a difficult truth: Among some American Jews, race plays a key role in the hesitation to support the Obama candidacy. We’ve forgotten that Black and Jewish America once shared a common vision. In the civil rights era, I and many in our community stood shoulder to shoulder with the giants of our generation, demanding freedom for all Americans.

Obama himself doesn’t share our amnesia, however. “I would not be sitting here,” he said in Cleveland, “if it were not for a whole host of Jewish Americans.” That was literal truth, but not everyone remembers it.

I’ve worked with Obama for more than a decade, as has my son, a lawyer who represents children and people with disabilities. He has admired Obama’s dedication and skill as he worked on issues affecting our most vulnerable citizens.

Obama is no anti-Semite. He is not anti-Israel. He is one of our own, the one figure on the political scene who remembers our past, and has a real vision for repairing our present.

Barack Obama is brilliant and open-hearted; he is wiser and more thoughtful than his former minister. He offers what America, Israel, and the Jewish community need: a US President willing to ask hard questions, and grapple with difficult answers.

I am very proud to be his neighbor. I hope someday to visit him in the White House.

Rabbi Arnold Jacob Wolf is rabbi emeritus at Chicago’s KAM Isaiah Israel, Illinois’s oldest Jewish congregation.

Yeah I guess getting endorsement from HAMAS and all those Pakistani bundlers, and his affiliation with a former PLO member has nothing to do with it. The difficult truth is, Barack Obama is pwned by the middle east and probably just can’t wait to reverse the direction of the fire. I think if I were a Jew I would kind of be upset too.

This is contrary to the majority of the assessment Jewish Community I know. Obama is a politician! It is not what he says but who he mixes it with and what he tolerates and accepts: for example at his church.

Accepting the publishing of the Hamas manifesto shows by his beloved “moral compass” and then reading what you posited only reiforces the belief he is a most cynical politician with terrible judgement. Obama will be such a weak president he will get run over politically and diplomatically by Hamas, Ahmadinejad, Hezbollah and everyone else.

You obviously do not understand not care much for Israel and the Jews

Here is the truth about Obama (from The New York Observer)

I asked someone who would know, Ali Abunimah (of electronic intifada), who lives in Chicago. Abunimah wrote me back:

I used to know Obama when he was my state senator. I met him several times in different contexts, and he was often very progressive about Israel-Palestine. He attended fundraisers in the Palestinian community, one in which the keynote speaker was Edward Said. That’s what really made me believe in him at first. But then it all went out the window when he started his climb up the greasy pole.

Wait until Obama gets to power and you’ll see what he does. Obama is a danger.

Comment by cc | 2008-05-08 21:38:17

I believe that the Obama underground is all planned, fully enabled by their messiah. This is sinister, well-oiled shit. They want us dead. You can almost feel their bristle. I am telling you if Obama doesn’t get the nomination, they will burn and loot and kill. Blood will run in the streets like it did in the 60s, which I remember well.. I believe Howard Dean lives in fear right at this very moment.

They will bulldoze their way through the streets of America until people will be too afraid to say ANYTHING. That Fear has already started. Are you not choosing your words for Fear of being called racist when you have no such intent? It is the 60s again. Only worse. They are using The Children. Nothing is more horrible than that. Only one horrible man in history was able to achieve this!

If they could kill us to keep from voting against Him, they would.

My goodness. What if, what if, oh my what if, reporters ALL reporters took the kind of approach Cavuto took…REPORT THE FACTS! Everything he said was completely and utterly the TRUE and the FACTS. That is exactly what I say when one of Obama’s “scareogates” are on MSNBC. After watching that I feel like the chip on my shoulder has been removed it was therapy for free.

Another thing, what is up with the superdelegates anyway. Everytime Obama has a big lost his camp puts the word out that he has 50 or 100 SDs in his pocket ready to announce for him. Then **CRICKETS** Now Obama is on CNN, cover of Time(?) Timmie has proclaimed it, I don’t know what KO is doing but I bet he is feeling the rapture and from the SDs ***CRICKETS***. I don’t get it. I expected an avalance of SDs by now. After all, Hillary is killing the party because she is not treating Obama like a Kitten.

The SDs know Obama will be slaughtered in the general. They are not just watching MSM and forming their opinions they read blogs, too. I believe the SDs are waiting for Obama’s Rezko shoe to drop or his Auchi or his Ayers…

I do believe they are waiting to see if there is something in this moron’s life that is going to vet again. I agree with you there. All along, he has been in a huge hurry to wrap this up. Besides the fact that he seems not to be able to keep up without looking burnt out, I think he worries about the next shoe he has hidden. That is why Clinton does us a great service by forcing this man to be exposed to time. I bet there are millions of people who wish they could re-vote in their primaries now that they have met Wright and Ayers. And really, there is so much more about this man that hasn’t hit the general public yet. You can be sure the republicans know all about it too. They are dying to get their paws on him.

To win the GE, you need majority votes in every possible state. Therefore, very unlikely he would win in November.

I love my tv, but I love my laptop more, and I was on the verge of breaking it. This kool-aid drinker person, said so many lies, so many condescending remarks … too many for me to endure. Hillary should quit for the sake of the party? Which party, the one that threw her and the supporters under the bus? For the sake of Clinton’s legacy? The one that they trashed without mercy worst than the legacy of repug presidents combined? My God, I am so mad. I cried Tuesday night, and I am in tears now. I would like to grieve in peace (pessimistic here, I don’t think she will make it.) So, I need some time to respectfully grieve before it turns into rage … November rage.

It will be ok. Trust me.

Comment by Amanda | 2008-05-08 22:36:41

You are cracking me up. Stop!

I don’t know what’s funny about what I wrote, but, well emotions are running crazy these days.

Here is something that is not funny at all, from “open left”

Cultural Shift: Out with Bubbas, up with Creatives: There should be a major cultural shift in the party, where the southern Dems and Liebercrat elite will be largely replaced by rising creative class types. Obama has all the markers of a creative class background, from his community organizing, to his Unitarianism, to being an academic, to living in Hyde Park to shopping at Whole Foods and drinking PBR. These will be the type of people running the Democratic Party now, and it will be a big cultural shift from the white working class focus of earlier decades. Given the demographics of the blogosphere, in all likelihood, this is a socioeconomic and cultural demographic into which you fit. Culturally, the Democratic Party will feel pretty normal to netroots types. It will consistently send out cultural signals designed to appeal primarily to the creative class instead of rich donors and the white working class.

The whole article is here:

http://www.openleft.com/showDiary.do?diaryId=5650

I think it should be separate topic for discussion.
When you wrote in April, “they are going to kill us”, is this the “political death” you were talking about?

Comment by Uppity | 2008-05-08 22:46:05

I meant that in a feel-bad kind of way.

No, Amanda, what you are reading is the same thing that has been said and tried before. It just doesn’t work. The real party base votes and are the majority. There is no way the party can be hijacked. It has been tried over and over again with the same results. What they DO manage to do is marginalize the party again for a decade or so. They bring us the same candidate every time. The only difference is the name. What we see is the other side of the Right Wing Social Conservative nutballs. People who couldn’t make it in their own fringe party. The other side of the coin is the Democratic elitist radicals. They just don’t get it. The majority of democrats just don’t want them. They can’t drive away the majority. They are the minority. The majority is not the loudest but they vote and they vote in huge blocks. This is just the same old thing that has happened before. They just won’t admit that nobody wants a socialist society or a marxist society and nobody wants radical riots and crashing and burning. Nobody wants “revolution” in the sense they portray it. These are people who are extremely unhappy with America and prefer to take it over rather than just leave it. They are the Perpetual Unrest people. They are the people who think Bill Ayers is a frigging hero, to be honest with you. But the majority may not speak up–but they always speak up in November.

McGovern sees himself in Barack Obama and wants to try to at least minimize the November slaughter.

Meanwhile, the Republicans can replay the Nixon ‘72 win (despite Nixon’s negatives, he STILL won the GE even during Vietnam!). He also helped launch the “Southern stragedy”, which has been the winning factor in every GE since.

Nixon’s ghost is all over this campaign, even more so that McGovern opened his pie hole — and McInsane, unlike Nixon, is the MSM darling (give the press access, and they’re like puppy dogs in a park. So evident from 2001-2003 when they did nothing but be the White House mouthpieces).

Cute girl. This is a good example of what the fall will bring if Obama is the nominee, except the Republican 527s won’t be as civil as Cavuto.

They’re already in production against Obama and I’ve seen some of their early stuff. It starts off with Wright’s rants, and then Obama himself acknowledging that Wright is a “legitimate political issue.” No need for a voice over when your opponent does the heaving lifting for you.

Small wonder that international opponents of the U.S. are rooting for Obama. If he is this easy to snooker in a primary election, they figure that it won’t be too long before they will be circulating videos of him outright dissing his own country during his “unconditional” meetings with Iran, North Korea and Venezuela. In fact, aspiring foreign politicians who would otherwise be ambivalent may even style themselves anti-American so as to get their own “unconditional” face time with Obama to enhance their domestic political prestige.

What a putz!

Brazile, Dean, Axelrod and Obama must be hoping for a new cluster of losers to come out of the woodwork, along with the raised level of Hillary bashing by the media to get him through this.

Also they must be hoping that all of their “prime choice” new Democrats come out in numbers suficient to replace us old-line Democrats they now despise. I have never needed the Democratic party, it has needed me and all I brought with me. People and money.

So far, just about every Democratic loser has come out in support of Obama. Perhaps they think that by using Obama as a surrogate to defeat the Clintons, and to control the party, somehow they will magically turn into winners.

Kerry, Kennedy, Carter, Dean, Gore’s campaign folks like Brazile, Kerry’s like Shrum, Reid the ineffective Sen. leader that has not won a single legislative victory, Pelosi to whom the same applies, and on and on. All losers.

It doesn’t work that way. Losers are losers, winners are winners. Even if the losers help defeat the only winners we have had period in the last 42 years, and the only 2 term winners we have had in the past 64 years; nothing changes for them.

They are still losers, and history has recorded them as such.

They can have the Democratic Party. They have destroyed it anyway, with their egomaniacal attempts at redeeming themselves by defeating HRC, and totally denigrating the positive governance of WJC.

Obama will soon join their infamous clique of losers, either in the primary or the GE.

If they really wanted to win, they’d have held BO to the same standard they hold HRC. Maybe losing isn’t so bad for them seeing as they’ve done it a number of times…
