As a neighbor of yours from NH - I simply cannot believe what Dean has done. He has totally foresaken the values we in Northern NE hold.

When Sununu did that, and then tried to come back to NH, we made sure he knew he was not welcome in our state any longer. How does VT feel about the betrayal by Howard?

I will never forget how the Democratic Party has treated Hillary Clinton, nor will I forget how its leadership allowed the Obama camp and the MSM to malign her. If she is not the candidate, I will without hesitation not only vote McCain but happily vote against any Dem on the ballot that perpetuated the Obama myth. Since I live in a blue state, it probably won’t make a difference, but I will have made my stand. I don’t think I will be alone.

I will do this as a personal condemnation of the four horseman of the apocalypse of the Democratic Party, namely Kennedy, Kerry, Dean and Brazile. I will not forget that Kennedy forever altered his brother’s legacy and that Kerry never voiced any opposition to his swiftboaters but found his voice to attack Clinton. (Thank you, Sweet Jesus, that the American people never allowed either of this two to become POTUS.)

My vote will be my repudiation of the “new Dems” and their mindset. Like other posters here, I don’t care about the Supreme Court. I leave that worry to the soccer moms who supported Bush and Obama.

Gallup says “Obama remains in a statistical dead heat with Clinton for the 16th consecutive day.”

And Obama et al is claiming he won already. No old pol Chicago type campaigning here just Mr. Hopey Changey jumping the gun again. Votes don’t count in their world. If he is like this prior to actually winning - imagine what he would be like if he did.

If you had any doubts that the Democratic DNC and party “elders” will not choose to lose this elect you must be crazy. Did anyone miss the remarks of D. Brazile in the last few months and today our “leader” Ted went out of his way to denigate Sen. Clinton. People who want to win elections do not speak in public like this. They either love train wrecks or are totally bat crap crazy!

If you want to win, support Hillary. I just made another donation and, I got to send her a Mother’s card at her site. If the FL/MI votes and delegates are not counted/seated, then this disenfranchizing of 2.5 million votes in states that will not vote for BO period will forever color the DNC as corrupt.

The only vote the Democratic party can depend upon from me now is if I get to vote for Hillary in the GE. I’m bailing, had enough abuse and seen way more than I wanted to. To try to paint the Clintons as racist is obscene and a blatant lie. They have all shown their hubristic butts with no regard to 70% of the loyal Democratic voters. Blech! If BO just had some quality, some experience, some maturity - something to vote for. But he doesn’t and it does not bother the party “leaders”? They wanted a baby tool to do as they tell him to - that’s it in a nut shell. So, either vapor man or lose. They do not care is the message they are sending.

Obama is just being used to knock Senator Clinton out, because she might apply FDR-Democrat kinds of solutions to the extraordinary problems the USA (and indeed the world) is facing–the bankruptcy of the casino-style floating-exchange rate monetary system, and the hyperinflation cure being foisted on the people of the USA and the world; the collapse of the U.S. dollar, etc. And the stealth “draft Lisbon Treaty,” which is close to putting all of Western Europe under tyrannical rule and no longer with sovereignty of individual nation states… leading to wars between the West and Asia.

The FDR Democrats put people first, and REGULATE and CONTROL the “top of the pyramid” and “the money changers.” (FDR’s words. I suggest that anyone not familiar with Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s speeches go have a read. His inaugural address is a good place to start.)

Howard Dean is from a family of investment bankers going back generations. The sort of people who would not want FDR policies regulating their activities in the U.S. or across the globe.

Yours is an excellent question, and as far as I know, it hasn’t been answered. The makings of a great book, I would guess. Also a question that could attract a storm of disinformation.

Another facet of the answer is that he’s an upper class baby boomer, but that’s another story.
