Someone, Take Donna’s Blackberry Away from Her

Thousands are calling for her resignation. Thousands more are wondering if she’s off her meds (or needs to be ON some meds). What I WANT TO KNOW is WHAT IN THE HELL the poor saps like us who donate to the Democratic party are paying this woman? (I actually searched for information today on what Donna Brazile is paid by the DNC, but was unable to find any financial statements. If any of you can, please find it and share it with us.)
There’s a sweet soul who has a lovely little blog, Little Isis, who had the temerity to write to Miss Donna Brazile. Her polite note included:

I am emailing you on behalf of many people. I am, as you may know, a Hillary Clinton Supporter. You have probably gotten a lot of emails from her supporters, and I understand from the blogs I often frequent that you have responded to many of them.
I want you to know that I read bits and pieces of your autobiography, Cooking With Grease, and thought it was wonderful and well written. I came to understand from your book and from a lot of what I have witnessed in this election cycle that to simply put groups of people in Demographics and Exit polls is a misunderstanding of both America and the Democratic Party. …
The rest of her letter to Donna Brazile was similarly polite, kindly, and complimentary. She signed it, “respectfully, A young female voter from Ohio.” THIS is the response this young Democrat received:

Well, leave it to the very earnest and polite LittleIsis to write a rational response to her blog’s readers:
I kid you not. That was her reply. This is DNC leadership. A Superdelegate and a person responsible for seating Florida and Michigan. Is this normal behavior for party leadership? I must say that I’m somewhat confused. And if anyone can tell me how my letter to her was “Anti-American” and “Anti-Democratic” and how I supposedly “don’t care about America” because I urged her to count the votes in two swing states, please let me know. I’m dying to figure out how counting votes is “Anti-American” and “Anti-Democratic”.
I would urge everyone not to try and email her anymore. She is beyond rationality at this point. And I would also urge everyone who did have exchanges with her to contact the DNC about this and also to send what she wrote back to every media outlet you possibly can. She clearly is incredibly unprofessional, and it alarms me that she is in the position she is in right now.
You may share your opinions with Little Isis.

Like Marc, MANY of us have found the most respectful, objective, and rational commentaries to have come from Republicans and/or conservatives like Joe Scarborough and Pat Buchanan.
We find ourselves, more and more, watching Fox News because at least there’s SOME chance that Hillary Clinton will be treated with dignity and respect. And because Fox News is truly more “fair and balanced” than CNN and vastly moreso than MSNBO.

A THOUGHT OR TWO:
It was bad enough, during the years of the Bush presidency, to feel like we were powerless to stop a war, to preserve Constitutional rights and guarantees, to protect our nation’s military viability, to give any attention to the massive needs in our own country — from our environmental peril to our crumbling infrastructure to our growing number of impoverished low-wage or unemployed people to our completely unfair health care system.
But now we have to feel powerless because a DNC bureaucracy doesn’t give a damn what we think? Doesn’t pay attention to the inability of its Chosen One to win the major electoral college states required to win the presidency? Doesn’t care that its Chosen One hasn’t the experience or the work ethic to truly make a difference should he, by some miracle, be elected? Doesn’t seem to realize that it is nearly guaranteeing the election of John McCain as the next president?
At least when we felt powerless during the Bush years, we had a enemy we could comprehend rationally. But now our enemy is the party that was supposed to be on OUR side.
I’m dumfounded. I’m confused. I’m upset.
But I’m not going to shut up. And the very best thing is that I know you aren’t either.

You really should talk to one of these outlets. You will need to show them the actual email so that they can be sure it is authentic.
Hate to say it but FOX is probably your best bet - or maybe Drudge. I think this would actually be good for the party if this got out because they need a wake up call before they alienate a huge part of the party. They need to dump Brazile - and they need to know that we can fight back and there will be consequences.
FOX would run with it ISIS, but they would need you to FORWARD the ACTUAL email.
You might want to send it to Rush and Hannity’s radio shows.

I’m so glad Susan posted this. I was surprised to see my comment that was originally posted on your site. That’s great. It would be nice to have Dobbs show this. Maybe it would stir things up at CNN. What’s really amazing is that it seems Brazille thinks her side has taken the moral high ground, as if nothing nasty ever gets said about Hillary at places like Daily Kos, TPM, Air America and MSNBC. As if she doesn’t believe the reports of intimidation at caucuses throughout the country. If we’re repugnant and vile, what do you call them.
It’s time that we destroy the party so that the party can renew itself. The DNC and superdelegates are worried about how Obama’s supporters react to a Clinton victory. Their fears have been misplaced. Life-long Democrats are willing to destroy our party to save the party’s future. We want change, but not the change that the DNC apparently wants to foist upon us.
We say “NO” to a corrupt nominating process, “No” to the ineffective Democratic leadership of the DNC that has favored one candidate at the expense of the other, and “NO” to a false messiah candidate with a questionable background who is a Democrat in name only, and who will surely lead the Democratic party to defeat in the general election.
Unfortunately that may be the only way. Mass rejection of the democratic party so that it can be reborn.
We cannot allow Barky Obama to throw his temper tantrums like the very spoiled brat that he is.
Reviewing his history as we know it — Father Kenyan (with another wife back in Kenya) and Barky’s mother born in Kansas but spent time in Hawaii with her parents, where she met and marries BHO senior. (Yep — little BHO is Jr.). Father of BHO Jr. continues on to Harvard, and white mom divorces bigamist father. Mom REMARRIES and takes Jr. with her to Indonesia. Jr. requests to live with Grandparents in Hawaii. Grandparents are originally from Kansas (probably Republicans — based on genealogical research on my mother’s Kansas heritage). Grandmother is BANK VP — thus well off and can afford the very best for Jr.
Jr. goes to Punahoe — which is an elite, elite high school in Honolulu — where there are lots of private schools, mostly missionary/religious.
In Hawaii it was no big deal to be mixed race — in fact nearly all of my friends in school were mixed race — except for a few Japanese and one or two Chinese — most were mixed race. Obama could very easily have passed as Portuguese or Portagee in the local pidgin English. And he probably did — at the time he wasn’t using his biological father’s name, but rather his step father’s name. Which would allow Barry Jr. to blend in. Meanwhile back in Kenya BHO Sr. uses his Harvard education, gets drunk and wrecks his car and himself. He brings another wife with him to Kenya and he is a drunk and a wife beater in Kenya. Apparently Barky’s mother was lucky to divorce BHO Sr. — a wife beating father can really screw up a kid. But Barky only dreams of his father. Lots of messages here — Hey is there a shrink in the house — BHO JR. is in real need of some professional help — ASAP.
He didn’t grow up poor, nor in a Black ghetto. He grew up in affluence with two white grand parents who adored him. Again it was NO big deal for him to be raised by his grandparents — many of my friends were raised by grandparents or aunts and uncles — no big deal — extended families are not unusual in Hawaii. There was NO stigma attached to being raised by grandparents in Hawaii.
He graduates from High School and attends various high end colleges in the States (or Mainland US).
This guy has learned to use race and race baiting — and the thing is he hasn’t really experienced growing up Black. He has learned to use the color of his skin — and I find that very offensive. What’s worse he has consciously chosen to join a racist AA church. Rev. Wright’s message is the racism of the Black Panthers of the 60s — when Obama was a child and living in Indonesia and Hawaii.
Obama Jr. is a fraud. He grew up in Hawaii — but apparently he grew up in a bubble — rather like bush grew up going to exclusive/expensive schools and spent little time with the common folk.
Who is Obama Jr. really?
WE DON’T KNOW THE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION.
Donna Brazile is a RACIST for trying to swindle an election for her candidate — who happens to have dark skin. And he has learned to act and speak like an African American — but his roots are very different than the majority of Blacks or African Americans who came to this country as slaves.
Why is she so desperate to force Barky Obama Jr. on America? Has she been offered anything for her support of Jr.?
Whatever we can do to get her expelled from any role at all in the DNC would be healthy for the Democratic Party. DB is as toxic as her candidate, Barky Obama Jr.

A few thoughts from a Honolulu resident and staunch supporter of Hillary Clinton:
(1)The senator’s correct name, the one he chooses to go by, is Barack Obama. You sound like a 10-year-old hurling a schoolyard taunt at a rival when you mock his name as “Barky”. Certainly, you can oppose the man’s candidacy ans still conduct yourself with some modicum of dignity and respect, can’t you?
(2) Barack Obama was born in Hawaii, and lived his entire childhood here in the islands, save for the four years in Indonesia between the ages of 6 and 10. I know Obama likes to tout his years in Indonesia as part of his foreign experience, But it is essentially meaningless. Thus, your emphasis of it is likewise irrelevant.
(3) The correct name of the school Obama attended in Honolulu is Punahou, not “Punahoe”. Eh, if you really one local, you know dat already, yeah? Where you wen’ high school? Vegas?
(4) Hawaii is every bit as much a state as “the States.” Honolulu is the third oldest American city west of the Mississippi, after Santa Fe, NM and St. Louis. The aforementioned Punahou is the oldest private secondary school west of the Rocky Mountains.
(5) I’ve found the people of this state to be far more politically sophisticated and akamai (the Hawaiian word for “astute”) than most of their mainland counterparts. Therefore, I really don’t appreciate your depiction of islanders as little more than a bunch of kind-hearted rubes.

But being that you couldn’t even spell “Punahou” correctly — and nearly everyone here knows Punahou — and no self-respecting, “fo’ real” local would ever refer to the mainland as “the States”, I doubt it. BO is not sociologically or cultrually connected to the AA community. For him to be playing the race card for personal ambition is about as contemptible as anyone can get. He doesn’t care about the AA community anymore than OJ did before he got his ass in trouble for killing his ex-wife and Ron Goldman. I just called the DNC - for about the fifth time. They don’t seem very responsive.

I suggest a mass movement to change registration from Democrat to Independent, unless your state hasn’t voted yet. You can still vote for whoever you want, of course, in the GE. It’s the only thing I can think of to get at least a little attention. If reregistering can be spread around pro-Hillary blogs, hundreds or thousands of people switching, might give them the idea that maybe they do need us.
I guess because we aren’t threatening riots we don’t count. What does that say for this country - whoever threatens violence gets their way.

Also, the foreign press. If the American press won’t report, see if the foreign press will. People with bilingual skills should use them. Most foreign newspapers have websites. Upload bilingual videos on youtube if need be.
But by no means feel powerless, especially when in Nov you can show up at the polls and vote and SHOW THEM.

Most of the political scandals, etc. are about male on male sex-a somewhat different thing. Male on male sex is more common than most understand. The gay communities work to control AIDS and have had success, but male on male sex is hidden and riskier regarding AIDS.
Some think denial in part explains the higher rate of AIDS in the AA gay community, the cultural “shame” associated with homosexuality for AA men leading to the rejection of safe sex.
Many Catholics I knew growing up would have sex, unprotected, because the use of birth control would validate their sin of premaritial intercourse.
So they’d risk pregnancy instead, and use abortion as a birth control method, the denial being the driving factor, the ILLUSION.

She is going to win it despite the press and despite the corrupt DNC that has done its best to rig the nomination process for Obama.
Clintons can survive without the support of the press. They proved that throughout the 1990s when the press worked bloody damn hand-in-hand with the GOP and THEIR professional propagandists to attempt to destroy President Clinton.

What can we do about this? I have just stopped watching any of them, and somewhere (I think Confluence yesterday) someone was talking about an organized effort to completely turn off these networks for a day to try to affect their ratings and income. This might help a little in the short term, but the present members of today’s press as a whole are so stupid and biased that trying to get them to do better is like trying to get my dog to do calculus — it may very well be beyond their capabilities. I know this is because networks are no longer hiring people like Cronkite and instead filling the seats with people like Chris Matthews, but can’t anything be done?
The liberal radio network and many liberal blogs turned out to be just as crazy and biased as the mainstream, so where are we to get reliable news these days? Even McClatchy seems to have drunk the Koolaid. I don’t want something biased in either direction — just for someone to report what is really happening without trying to spin it in favor of anyone. Would this be so hard to do?
Is there no Ted Turner out there who might start another news service, even if it was just online — I just want to know what is really going on rather than being lied to and manipulated.

Does anyone have the demographic breakdown of the party? I am sure that if you put non-blacks over 29 (since Obama does often win young white voters) together they outnumber AA’s by a lot. I would think this is true even if you look at likely voters.
I’ve seen the stats somewhere and I thought that blacks/AA was pegged at 10-18%(I have friends who do NOT appreciate being called AA — they are BLACK). The minority group that has recently surpassed the AA would be the Hispanic. One of the polling companies was oversampling the AA vote and thus was off by a huge percentage in projections.
This is probably the last time that AA as a minority can use their political clout as a group.
Someone on this blog pointed out that bush “won” the 2000 election without the AA vote.
There are a few articles about how many AA are eligible to vote and how many do vote. And there seems to be no real agreement about demographics.
However, AAs are being used by very shrew conmen. Universal Health Care would be of huge benefit to all Americans — and Obama’s “plan” is NOT anywhere near “Universal”. This is one area where AA are not voting in THEIR best interest.

We need to start a movement to a) get more working class people in party leadership and b) replace Nancy Pelosi as speaker. I think Steny Hoyer ran against her for speaker - let’s find out if he endorsed Hillary.
We need to start a movement that values a modicum of loyalty, that doesn’t hand-wring and fret when campaigns are competitive, that strives to level the playing field but explicitly rejects victimhood. And a movement that says we expect you to earn your stripes and get experience in some walk of life. At least show you care about the party beyond yourself.

The party, all of us, were united for Gore. He actually did win if we recall correctly. However, the electoral map would not be the same for Obama as we are sharply divided. Now, Obama will do worse than Dukakas and definitely worse than McGovern because the youth vote for McGovern was HUGE. Also known as Baby Boomers. Those same baby boomers are no longer on the bong. The ones who still are living in the past are Obama’s voters. The rest are watching in horror. Last I looked they were the biggest voting block after the seniors. A little off topic, I know, but is anyone following the al-Masri fiasco? Three weeks ago, he apparently “died” of Hepataitis. Yesterday, the US military reports they arrested him after he was found sleeping in a house in Mosul. Today, the military makes a retraction and says that the “terrorist” they found yesterday is not al-Masri. Most likely the truth is that al-Masri will be attending Jenna’s wedding in Crawford tomorrow, along with other “terrorist” friends of the family.

To quote George Bailey from It’s a Wonderful Life, “It’s the people who do most of the living, working and dying in this world.” But if you think Obama can win a general election without us, have at it. And why Dean and Brazle stood like statues while our appeals for them to remember our basic democratic principles washed over them like a tsunami.
The major drawback for Obama for me is not that he can’t beat John McCain in the fall, but that he might.
Not enough youth vote to make the difference.
It’s only the middle aged and older voters who actually KEEP the party’s power IN power, as the kids don’t vote (especially in boring local elections).
So basically Donna is stating “shooo, go away”, so the kids can hand over the local elections to the GOP — as they’re irresponsible enough to do so (heck, even Obama’s video girl didn’t even bother to vote).
It’s granny in her walker who’ll come rain, sleet, snow or shine to vote. While the kids complain it’s too wet, cold and the beach (or the movies) is better.

Karen - I agree with most of what you wrote - we need to protest and take it down ticket - unless one of the Democratic nominees on the ticket supports Hillary.
Second - Not all states allow you to write in a candidate. I live in Texas and McCain will win this state no matter who the Democratic nominee is. Although Hillary would have a much better chance to make it close. I am still going to vote for McCain as a protest. The worse the defeat for Obama the better it will be for the future of the party.
If you live in a state that is not a slam dunk for McCain then you need to vote McCain.

I hope the nasty comments about black voters and the comments about Donna Brazile’s sexual orientation by people claiming to be Democrats are just a result of emotions running high. I thought the Democratic Party was the party of inclusion, the party that worked for social equality, the party that stood up for minorities instead of insulting and dismissing them.

Yeah, I was thinking along the same lines as you about there not being much of a party after August, but after exchanging comments wtih you and karen below, I sort of realized how few people are really as nasty as their comments and how few people really spend time on these sites blasting away at each other, so that made me feel a little better, too.

I didn’t and won’t try to change your feelings or your selection of candidate. Nor am I acting or playing “nicey nicey.” (And, make no mistake, I’m not saying that I’m not acting; I’m saying that I am not particularly nice.) However, I will certainly take you at your word that you are not mean-spirited and are instead mature and rational. I’m hoping that is actually true of most of the people here and it just isn’t showing right now.
In all honesty, there don’t seem to be many supporters of Senator Obama here, so the ones who are here must have been working overtime to get things ramped up to this level if they are indeed the instigators.
My main concern was that it appeared that some Democrats here were saying some very un-[D]democratic things about other party members, and I found it alarming. But maybe, as with ChrisXP above, most of these folks aren’t Democrats, so that explains a lot. Also, those of us who visit these sites probably make up such a tiny, tiny percentage of the overall electorate that we inflate our own importance in the scheme of things anyway. It’s probably silly of me to be distressed by the comments I was referring to, so I appreciate your helping me get it in perspective.

Why senator Obama would be better?
About DB, and other Obama superdelegates, I happen to have some first-hand experiences. I don’t know if it is just my luck or something else, because it seems I always chose the most obnoxious person to write to.
Also, about Democratic Party being the party of inclusion. Didn’t you hear DB and other Obama supporters saying this is the new coalition, and I happen to be in the old coalition, and I am not needed. They only need to bring out the new votes, drive up the turn out of AA and elites, and they will win in November?
No, I don’t think it’s true that any of those people think they don’t need you. I think whomever the Democratic nominee is, s/he will need every possible vote because we’re going to need a huge victory to claim a mandate from the electorate. And I think that either Senator Clinton or Senator Obama will beat Senator McCain, but it won’t be the huge victory that’s needed to make changes quickly. I know on this site, it sounds like only Senator Clinton’s supporters have been offended, but, unfortunately, some of Senator Obama’s supporters are equally offended and threatening the same kinds of action. Either way, the party loses.
And the stuff that was on CNN the other night…I think that analysts and pollsters divide people up into convenient groups so that they can be more effective at what they do, and they get desensitized to referring to people by their breakdown groups. Then when they get on television and start slinging the names of those groups around, the general public gets pissed at being labeled. I mean, you don’t think of yourself as a racist, right? I don’t think of myself as a brainwashed elitist either. It’s just that labels are easy and get rid of all the pesky gray areas.
There were some really sharp exchanges that I think both Paul and Donna regret. In all honesty, I think Donna supports Senator Clinton; at least, I was pretty sure of it earlier in the primaries ’cause she kept saying “Hillary’s my girl.” She might have changed her mind since then, but I don’t think her anger that night stemmed from the comments made about Senator Obama. I think it was the comments being made about Black voters in general and Campbell Brown singling her out over and over that got her all het up. Maybe she felt like Black voters were under attack and she got angry.
I may have misunderstood, but I thought she was saying that both the Clinton and Obama camps needed to stop thinking of only their own supporters as “real” Democrats and recognize that if the two camps united, it would be an unbeatable coalition. It would, but it looks like it’s not going to happen. That’s why I hope that what’s going on here and on some of the other sites (by both campaigns) is just a few people being really loud and abrasive. Everybody seems to get braver planted in front of a keyboard, ya know?
Anyway, I appreciate that you were civil, and I hope I’ve responded in kind. As for why I think Senator Obama would be better, if you really want to continue our exchange, I’ll be happy to tell you why I think so, but I’ve been asked to leave, so I don’t want to keep aggravating the people who asked me. I would imagine most of my reasons are the same reasons that other people base their decisions on…mainly that I think more like he does than like she does. I was lucky enough to briefly meet Donna about 6 years ago when I was working on a NY statewide race. She’s actually a very nice, down-to-earth person, who treated all of us with respect and sincere courtesy, making sure she met all of the staff, that they had what they needed, and that they felt listened to and appreciated. The caricature painted here simply isn’t at all accurate.

Barack Obama was not in a position to validate being against the war. He was not in Congress. And it was political posturing and grandstanding on his part to lay claim to the entitlement of being anti-war especially when all of his votes since he got into the senate say otherwise.
A lot of local and state politicians and private citizens were against the war, but in the end, 9/11 had beat everyone down into submission. If you are a New Yorker then you should know that. There was no HUGE outcry here in the state that would have influenced Hillary’s vote. Had there been, then maybe she’d have voted ‘nay.’ And it wasn’t an authorization to go to war. You know that too.
But I see you and your gang of kids have arrived with a fresh bag of talking points to play your tricks on us. Do not confuse what’s going on here. The Democratic Party has hijacked the Primary process with the help of the MSM. People here aren’t fooled even if you are. I could care less than a flying fuck that Donna Brazile was nice to you some 6 years ago. She sent me one of her first nasty emails and frankly, that was pretty unprofessional of her. So save your “I used to be a Hillary supporter til she voted for the war” crap. Get this, I don’t care about the Supreme Court, nor the empty promises to end the Iraq War immediately because I lived through Viet Nam and I know that once any candidate takes his hand off that Bible he/she is going to have to play ball with the Joint Chiefs of Staff and it will be their job as POTUS to sell the military reality to the American public. By then next January we will be more fixated on making the economy strong and Hillary Clinton is the best damn candidate to do that. Barack Obama is not even on the radar and there’s no telling with all the Wall Street and who knows what bundled money what kind of interests are behind him and what their plans are. I do know that from where I sit, they don’t look good and in particular for black people.
So go back and get another bag of talking points and while you’re at it, you might tell them they blew the ability to negotiate in good will before Super Tuesday in their zeal to lock up the nomination for BO. And that maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to have 90% of the AA vote and in the process denigrate a former President and his Senator Candidate wife who have been champions for the AA community. How many blacks does Obama have in his inner circle and working on his campaign in important positions? All it did was make a lot of ‘typical white’ people ask: is race the reason for this support? No that wasn’t very smart at all!
Also, you might want to mention they could have picked a more qualified candidate to go up against one tough smart lady who only revealed how very little your candidate actually knows about anything!

I want to know how much the DNC is paying this rude bully of a person to represent the interests of Democrats like me. She wants to deny voters of MI and FL the right to cast a vote and have it counted, which is decidedly undemocratic. According to the rules, FL should not have lost all its delegates, but Ms. Brazile selfishly pushed for that to happen, and has so far gotten her way, for some strange reason.
Donna obviously has the right to back any candidate she wishes, but not to push him down our throats, as she does day after day with Barack Obama, who is decidedly unqualified to be president.
Donna Brazile needs to be let go, and replaced by someone with care and compassion for America and its people, not just for her own personal interests. This email is just one example of many rude, insulting emails I’ve seen from her. She is extraordinarily unqualified to hold her position at the DNC.

The Democratic party seems intent in the belief that those who say they will not vote for Obama or will vote for McCain are just angry and will come back. We’re just a bunch of pouty, vindictive women, or bitter and clinging to our guns and religion in this debacle, etc.?? Or perhaps what Howard Dean said just the other day, except I do have a gun rack in my truck but I wasn’t a Republican. I will be here shortly though as I have already filled out the paperwork. When I’m writing these superdels, I look at their homepage, to get an idea of what their interests are, then orient the letter to appeal to them. People want to know you’re at least a little interested in what they’re interested in. As Democrats, we see eye-to-eye on so many things.
Here is one example from the list, and I’m going to start posting these regularly, to remind us of our talking points:

Here’s a thought that might be out there but it’s been developing in my mind from a talking head exchange I heard on MSNBC a couple of months ago between Scarborough and a black female Obama supporter. She was talking about the wonderful after school study/ support programs in her city available for AA students. I think her point was - see how effective these programs have been. They’ve brought us to the possibility of an AA president. Blah blah blah.OK, yes it it wonderful. Scarborough then asked why were these program just for AA kids? Why not for every economically challenged kid in that city. She came half up out of her chair at that (this is what really caught my attention)and started in on the stain of slavery and how everyone knows blacks are so oppressed and at the bottom of the social ladder and left behind and and and … Well, for the first time in my 55 years the argument for affirmative action sounded pretty weak. I know alot of black professionals and alot of poor whites.
Out here in California, there are politicians ( Issa comes to mind) itching to dismantle affirmative action. What better argument to do so than to point to a black president? Obama could be seen to have finally kicked open that one last door. I can almost hear Issa saying - see, our work is done. Time to dismantle that social program. Jeebus, I’m asking myself if he might be right?
My mother, a lifelong FDR democrat, mystified and politically allientated me when she became a Reagan democrat (changed to a Republican) predominantly because of Reagan’s welfare queen argument. Is this the new incarnation of that old saw?

He’s trying to goad McCain into a public temper tantrum so that McCain will look like a wacko. It’s my understanding that he and McCain already had a little senatorial run in with each other and McCain might have lost a bit of his cool.
Frankly, and this is why I am rooting so hard for Hillary, I was afraid of this tactic. And McCain better watch his step. Obama may have pegged him. I’ve had the distinct suspicion that Obama is a devotee of Neuro-linguistic Programming and he may have McCain’s number. It doesn’t work on everyone, but when a person who has practiced this finds someone that it will, they can get the desired results they want.
After I had delved into Obama’s background, I said to myself this guy has lead a very charmed political life thus far. And as much as I hate to admit it he has. Hillary has come the closest to derailing him even though he has hamstrung her on racial politics and exploited the American males’ proclivity toward sexism as well as the self-hatred of many women. NLP did not work on Hillary. It doesn’t when you have a good command of the issues and have steeled your own vulnerabilities which Hillary has. In fact, she came close to making Obama lose it, which is why no more debates.
If McCain blows a serious public gasket, it will be hard to justify voting for him and many WILL just sit it out. (“Message to the base: stay home”)
McCain and his advisors better study BO’s weak spots carefully and take a page out of Hillary’s book. BE PREPARED on the issues. BO is woefully weak and makes mistakes all the time. If I were McCain, I’d forget the part of BO that is black and start dealing with his white half. Stop giving him so much acceptance for being only a black man. He was raised by a white mother and her parents. He had NO CONTACT with his black relatives and THEY WERE AFRICAN. Trust me, this is a sore point for BO and the black community.
If ever there was a case that EXPOSES the racist fallacy of the ONE-DROP RULE, Barack Obama is TEXTBOOK. I’d back him in a corner so tight on this and drop him, then kick him once he was down. It’s killer instinct time.
Also, McCain has to steel himself against ageism. He’s going to have to project the asset of age =wisdom. That BO is already starting on this shows that he’s going play on this BIG TIME. If I were McCain I’d wouldn’t engage anymore than he has already. It would seem to me that the best response coming from the McCain Camp would have been going Robert DeNiro on Obama:
