Let Me Explain to Obamazoids Why We Don’t Care To Hear From You

Recently, No Quarter has had a rash of Obama supporters who have been dispatched to Make Nicey-Nicey. To add insult to injury, they are really bad at it. You can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. Then we have those who don’t bother to hide their disdain, thrilled to stalk us after maliciously driving us away from other forums dedicated to their Messiah. These are the things the campaign of Barack Obama is really made of–and this is why we have no use for Barack Obama or them.
I was reading an article this morning about how one of Obama’s advisors had to resign because of his connections to Hamas. Pretty serious stuff, wouldn’t you think? I mean, considering his other Middle Eastern affiliations of dubious intent and criminal status, you would think that an Obama supporter would at least be somewhat alarmed. Nope. Here was an Obama supporter’s comment:

This is just one of scores of messages I have read and captured from Obama pigs–with links captured for posterity, deleted or not. I do hope that young women who swoon for this man at least understand that self-respect demands respect from others. I shall be using these comments well throughout the election season.
On behalf of millions of Clinton supporters who have made it very clear that we will vote for a cockroach before we vote for Barack Obama, I would like you pieces of Obama crap to know that you can kiss our asses. We will collectively do everything in our power to see to it that you and that mysogynist, bigoted, race-baiting pig you worship, the fraud who has already set gender and racial relations back thirty years, goes down in flames in a big way. And there are millions of us. Millions. The kind of millions that brought his type down before from the voting booth.
Our goal is to make Barack Obama lose by an even bigger margin than George McGovern, and he got 38% thanks to his ill-behaved savage followers. And you guys are worse! And George was actually a gentleman with some brains, unlike Barky Obama. He didn’t even do the rap on camera and give people the finger. His nutcase followers didn’t even have the internet where they could make comments about slitting Hillary Clinton’s throat and tossing her into a river like you guys do at my.barackobama. But, there is one huge simlilarity. Like his crackpot followers, you folks are the reason that the Democratic Party has only elected only two Presidents in thirty years. And only one of them served two terms. Guess why? Because he was a moderate instead of a crackpot Marxist hanging off some radical cliff.
So who are all these people who will bring Barack Obama and you down?
They are The Women who fought for rights and recognize sexism and misogyny when they see it; women who will fight you with every fiber of their beings.
They are the Italians who would like you to know that their Garlic Noses are going to shove it up your asses in November.
They are the gays and lesbians who understand why Barry Obama refused to have his photo taken with San Francisco’s Mayor. The people who remember that a blank white page occurred in a magazine in the area that was supposed to contain Obama’s interview.
They are the Irish who watched that raving, crazed maniacal America-despising, white-hating “reverend” insult them on national television.
They are the Catholics who love Hillary Clinton and have a huge allergy to people who go to churches with preachers who act like whackjobs.
They are the Latinos who have received the same kind of unfair treatment from African Americans that African Americans have long resented themselves.
They are in Michigan. They are in Florida. No sense of hiding it. They know.
They are the Seniors, who are old enough and wise enough to recognize an empty suit peddling bullcrap when they see it.
They are the “Hicks” with guns and blue collar and service workers in those badly needed Swing States.They provide your smug arrogant asses with silly things like food, products and services you would be screaming about if they weren’t there. Now, Barry might pick himself a Vice Presidential candidate from one of these states, God knows he has plenty of swing states to choose from where he needs help badly. As a matter of fact, he needs to pick about four VPs to run with him. I’m sure if it can be done, they will allow Barry special dispensation to do it, right?
They are all the marvelous feminist men, the real progressives among you imposters, who are horrified at your behavior toward women.
They are the elderly and disabled who couldn’t caucus. They are the working people, including nurses and police officers and firefighters on shift who couldn’t caucus and tell you what they really think–because they were too busy keeping your arrogant asses safe.
They are the Baby Boomers who aren’t still on the bong, who recognize exactly what Recreate68 means. They won’t let you force us back to that vile time. They remember Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn too. Get it?
They are the Jews who recently had to hear Hamas say on the Day of Mourning for those killed in the Holocaust –that the Holoucaust was created by Jews to get rid of their own weak people. That was right after they had to hear Hamas endorse Barack Obama with a wink-wink.
And most of all, they are people who recognize ability, experience and knowledge as easily as they recognize an empty-suited media creation with a resume the size of a postage stamp, who is handing out Needful Things ala Leland Gaunt.
That’s who they are folks. Good luck with that.
So kindly don’t bother trying the Nicey-Nicey. We are not your wives you can beat the crap out of and later come back and get back together with. You are so vile you give yourselves away by the third comment, so really it’s a waste of time. You don’t even know you are offensive because it’s in your DNA or something. So really, there’s no sense of stressing yourselves trying to hide your disdain for us. It’s not necessary. We hate you even more than you hate us and all of you only serve to solidify our resolve. And when Barry Obama goes down in November, kindly remember why. Or don’t remember why. Nobody cares.

Uppity pretty capture what I’ve been feeling for the past couple of weeks. It’s one thing if they were civil during the primary and they were actually making real efforts to unite Obama supporters with Clinton Supporters. But no rational Clinton supporter can over look the hate and unfair treatment she has got during this primary if she isn’t getting knee capped on the pro-Obama blogs, she’s getting knee capped on progressive talk radio by pro- Obama talk show host and Obamaite callers and she’s getting knee capped by people like Keith Olbermann. Can someone explained to me how Elton John makes worst person and people like Randi Rhodes does not? It’s not like he couldn’t see the video of Randi calling Hillary a “fucking whore” because it was every where on the net even this blog had the video link.
Joe Conason, Paul Krugman and Gene Lyons warned his supporters don’t yuk up the treatment Hillary Clinton is getting from the media now because once Obama secure the Democratic nomination he’s going to get the same treatment. But maybe worst because everything Obama in his past will be fair game from him using coke in his college years to people he has ties to.
And once the attacks from the RNC and RNC backed 527 groups caused enough damage to Obama his supporters are going to realize maybe they shouldn’t picked up the habit of burning bridges.

The main difference is that there seems to be such a lack of historical awareness in the most powerful nation on the planet that you could actually end up with a president who can indeed move the masses. The testimonies from the caucuses are scary, as are a number of other incidents such as the delaying of votes that kept Clinton’s victory in Indiana on hold. They are really sure of themselves when they can do such an utterly undemocratic thing on national TV and none in the media follows it up! You have my fullest sympathy and I dearly hope something comes up that make the American people wake up to what is about to happen before it is too late for you, and for the rest of us!

I was waxing my floors(!) and when the news bulletin came on TV, I dropped to my knees, and started sobbing! I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Other than the birth of my daughter, that was one of the happiest moments in my life!!

An Open Letter to: The DNC, Main Stream Media and Pundits, and Obama Supporters and Super Delegates.
It seems to me that you hear what you want to hear and you see what you want to see, but let me be extremely clear on what has gone on during this primary season and what will happen after it is over.
First of all to the Obama voters, I can’t speak for the White Obama voters someone else would have to speak to them. However, I can speak to the African American Voters because I am an African American. It is easy for you to try to justify 90-92% of you voting for Obama, but the truth is the truth, you are voting for Obama simply because he is an African American. Let me ask you a question, how many of you? Did what I did and researched both candidates equally, how many of you pulled down their policies and voting records and evaluated them against each other? How many of you sat down and thought about the things that are affecting you on a daily basis and then took a good solid look at both candidates and made a decision? How many of you if your life or the life or your children depended on it can easily list two or three bills that Obama has voted on or written? How many of you know his stance on Healthcare, the Economy, and Education? If your life depended on it right now today how many of you know exactly what Barack Obama stands for. How many of you know what the change is that he has promised? If your life depended on it could you explain what the Change actually is? I say this because I find it offensive that my own friends, family members and co-workers choose to call me a sell out because I am a Hillary Clinton Supporter and I simply say to them. I am not interested in making History. I am interested in the future of this country that my nine year old child will grow up in period. I’ve done the homework, I’ve made a decision and I’m sticking to it. It offends me even more when fellow African Americans feel that it is ok to walk up to me on the street or at my Childs school and say to me “so do you think he’s gonna do it, do you think Obama is going to win” what makes them think first of all that I am an Obama Supporter and when I tell them I am not why do they have the audacity to say to me “ come on sister we owe it to him” how can you just assume because I am an African American that I will automatically vote for Barack Obama?. Ask yourselves the tough questions, step back and take a good look at yourselves and see what you come up with. To those supporters who have been so vile and disrespectful to Senator Clinton, you are the reason why the party is being torn apart, and it shows your lack of knowledge in what your candidate stands for, because according to him, he is the great unifier, but his followers seem to be the great dividers, all you have to do is take a look at the blogs. Debating the issues is one thing, but vile personal attacks and nasty rhetoric is a sign of the characters of those who support him, which says to me if he were to be elected to office you would not hold him accountable, you would continue to bury your heads in the sand. How can you Unify a country when you continue to use the Race Card, everytime someone disagrees with Senator Obama, they are labeled racist. His Administration would be mired in constant back and forth about race, if you don’t agree or you speak out against him you will be considered racist, this is what type of White House we would have and nothing would get done.
To Senator Obama: Your arrogance is not becoming, the way that you talk down to people is not attractive, you are asking us to put you in charge of the people of the United States of America, but yet you act as if you are Superior to us. You take us for fools, by expecting us to believe that you had no knowledge of what your Pastor was preaching for 20 years. You expect us to believe that you and your campaign did not inject race into this campaign, but those of us who viewed this primary with clear open eyes, know what you have done and we will have our voices heard in November. To the DNC: For 22 years I have been a loyal member of this party, a party that I thought was the party of the people, but I now see that you all are nothing but the good old boys club. You have totally thrown Senator Clinton under the bus, someone who has been loyal to this party and fought for this party, someone who has shown so much strength and passion for the people, because you cannot break away from the good old boys club. It took this long Primary season to see just how flawed and undemocratic your system really is. First of all you penalize the American People the voters for what their legislators did, you didn’t have the common sense to say ok we will fine the Michigan and Florida Democratic Party for Moving up their primaries, but you chose to take away their right to have their votes counted, how undemocratic is that at a time when we have soldiers coming home in body bags because they are fighting in a country to give others the right to simply vote. Yes the candidates agreed, but why should they have had to in the first place, no one had the common sense to say that we cannot disenfranchise millions of Americans? You have a system where someone can win an entire state and come out with only 10 or 13 delegates more that the person that lost, how is that Democratic, that means that the notion of one man one vote is not the what this party runs off of. You have a system of Caucuses, which does not allow for elderly and hardworking Americans to participate in, is that democratic?, You put Super Delegates in place to make decisions and vote how they wan to, but mid game because it does not benefit the candidate that you want, you strong arm them into voting how you want them to vote. This is the party of the people? You have a system where you have a number of 2025 delegates, yet neither candidate has reached that mark, but you declare a winner and then the good old boy network decide that they will come out in droves to back him up, even though millions have not voted, so then you are saying that the Super Delegates make the decisions? Which is it?
To the Super Delegates: There is something to be said about Character and what I have seen in the last couple of month has no signs of it. For those of you who backed Hillary Clinton in the beginning and then felt it necessary to throw her under the bus when she was behind in the delegate count or was being declared down and out by the pundits, you are the reason why the Democratic Party is divided; those types of antics are unprofessional and disingenuous. It’s one of two things, you were backing her because you thought she would win, or you backed her because you believed in her candidacy, her policies and what she stood for, and if it was the latter no matter what the numbers said or what the Pundits said you would stick with her, it’s called courage and conviction something that her true supporters have shown, for those African American Super Delegates who have been threatened and brow beaten by your fellow African American Colleagues, Talk Radio and constituents, thank you for having a back bone and standing up for what you believe in, that is what true Character is all about. I suspect that those turn coats will hear from their constituents in the future. Jumping on the winning bandwagon does not take any effort but standing firm to your convictions takes everything.
What will happen next, the Pundits, the DNC, Barack Obama Supporters have all said, oh, people are just saying that they will vote for McCain or stay home in November but that will not happen the party will come together. Understand this loud and clear. We did not vote for Hillary Clinton because she is a woman, We did not vote for Hillary Clinton because she is White, we voted for Hillary Clinton because we felt that she was the best person for the job and that she would fight for the people of this country. We did not vote against Barack Obama because he is Black or he is a Man, we voted against him because we felt that he was not the right person for the Job, we felt that he is not experienced enough, we felt that he was not honest about the way that he feels about this country, we felt that he has not substance, we felt that he give great speeches but has not backed them up, we felt that he goes on the defense when he is questioned about his policies and his way of thinking. What makes you think that that has or will change? We will not vote for Barack Obama, we will take our chances with John McCain, at least we know that he loves this country without a doubt, at least we know that he has the National Security Background in the event of any issues, at least we know that he has a record of reaching across the aisle even at the dismay of his party. We know absolutely nothing about Barack Obama. We will not vote for him, no matter how you wave it off or dismiss what we would or would not do, it will not happen, common sense tells us that in the next four years nothing but clean up will take place, I will take my chances with someone that I know where he is coming from as opposed to someone who has shown no substance, only the promise of Change in Washington, someone who is supported by all of the very Washington Insider that he chastise, someone that will be so indebted to the old Washington Insiders he won’t know which way is up. Now you ponder that, Pundits say what you must for ratings and see what happens in November and by the way. If an when Hillary Clinton gives her Concession speech, it will be the last time that we will watch the mainstream media again until election night, no convention, no commentary, no Sunday shows, we are not interested in the Dog and Pony show that the Democrats will make Hillary Clinton perform for the so called good of the party after the party turned their backs on her, we love Hillary, but we will not vote for Obama because she said so , we are not robots and we will not drink the Kool-Aid, keep this in the bank until Election day.

Either one would have to expand their current voting blocks before November. Bill Clinton’s 1992 victory was greatly strengthened, and arguably made possible, by his support among African Americans (he got less than 40% of the white vote). Obama has an uphill battle with working class white voters, and I certainly agree that white votes matter. But so do black votes, and Hillary has much more ground to make up among black voters than Obama does among white voters. I doubt McCain would get strong support among black voters, but at this point they shouldn’t be expected to turn out in numbers for Hillary.
Don’t count on that Obama does not have the white working class voters..nor the hispanic vote..try making up that..it won’t be easy..in fact according to my husbands very large hispanic family..i can’t fi nd one that will ever vote for Obama..they will cross the fence to McCain before they vote ozbama..and they are a very large voting block..more so than the AA vote.

I have been thinking for a while about whether or not i can vote for Senator Obama. The more i think about it, the more i am inclined to either stay home or vote for McCain. I just cannot bring myself to vote for someone who has 18 months of experience on the national level. Come on, this is not 1860 and Senator Obama is no Abraham Lincoln.
Not only does he have 18 months of experience on the national level, Senator Obama has not proposed or passed any significant legislation and he has no executive experience, no business experience and no military experience. For all his talk about bringing this country together and unity us and move us beyond partisanship, he has no significant bipartisan legislation. The man has never been a governor, or a businessman, or former officer of the US military or great legislator. His CV can be summarized in 2 words: community organizer. In all honesty, this is not enough for me to vote for him for president. In my mind, he did not cross the threshold to become a CIM and i just cannot vote for him.
The only way for me to vote for him is to have as his VP Senator Clinton. That is the only condition. Other than that, i am staying home or maybe voting for McCain.
If the folks here are serious about opposing Obama, we need to organize in groups and by states. We need to target battle ground states and organize our efforts in those states. Let us start here discussion groups that oppose Senator Obama in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Missouri, and Florida and let us organize our opposition efforts. These states represent about 79 electoral votes and without these 4 starts no one can win the presidency.
I still would not vote for him if Clinton were his VP. For one thing, why should she carry his ass to victory just to be his bridesmaid and do all the thinking while he gets the credit. I am a senior that did make it to the caucus to be treated so rudely by the obamakids andthugs. however there are approx 300 senior apartments at least, in my precinct…only 3 seniors showed up, the rest were not even aware of the caucus and had mailed in their absentee ballots unaware the primary votes would not be counted…this is Wa state. Of course if they had shown up there would have been no place for them to park or sit….the site most definitely was not set up for full participation…and that is how the boy wonder won Wa State.

Let’s face it…. before John Kerry voted against Hillary Clinton he voted for John McCain. He was ready to give him the vice presidency in 2004.
For midwestern Democrats, a vote for John McCain is not that far a stretch — probably less a stretch than a vote for Obama.

I tend to agree with you Greenley…. The thing that Dean & the Elites haven’t acknowledged is that they are foisting a candidate like Obamay with a verifiable past and associations that make him another “City Elite” type, but he would be running against the “Straight Talk Express”, and someone that is seen as moderate and/or independent. While I’d probably never vote for the guy, I can absolutely see the Reagan Democrats becoming the McCain Democrats, and the Bill Clinton republicans voting for McCain.
There was a reason why Bill Clinton was the only twice-elected Democrat in 30 years. The Country is much more moderate than Dean & The Elites care to accept. That’s why McGovern, Dukakis, and Kerry, didn’t pan out. I think Jimmy Carter won because he had that Southern thing going on.. and was billed as a ‘peanut farmer’, not an academic elite.

“Looking back at history, it’s hard to find evidence of the same media response to Ronald Reagan’s failed 1976 presidential campaign. Taking on President Gerald Ford, Reagan lost more primaries than he won, and Ford won a plurality of the popular vote, but neither man had enough delegates to secure the nomination. So the campaign went to the GOP convention, where Ford prevailed. The bitter battle did nothing to damage Reagan’s reputation (in fact, it did quite the opposite), in part because the media did not collectively suggest the candidate was acting selfishly or irrationally. Instead, Reagan walked away with a reputation as a resilient fighter who stood up for his conservative values.
And what about Sen. Ted Kennedy’s doomed run in 1980? He trailed President Jimmy Carter by more than 750 delegates at the end of the primary season and insisted on fighting all the way to the convention, where he tried to get committed Carter delegates to switch their allegiance. The press did not spend months during the primary season ridiculing Kennedy, in a deeply personal tone, for remaining in the race.
And what about Gary Hart in 1984? He and Walter Mondale split the season’s primaries and caucuses evenly, and neither had the 2,023 delegates needed to secure the nomination. Superdelegates eventually determined the winner. (Sound familiar?) Mondale had many of them locked up even before the campaign season began, so after the final primary between Mondale and Hart was complete, it was obvious that Mondale was going to be the nominee because Hart could not persuade enough superdelegates to change their mind and support him.
When Hart took his crusade all the way to the convention, the media did not form a posse and decide it was their job to get Hart to quit for the good of the party. (And the press certainly didn’t form a posse in March to start pushing Hart out of the race.) Nor did the press collectively suggest that Hart had an oversized ego that had turned him into a political monster.
That new media standard has been created exclusively for Hillary Clinton.
And where were the catcalls in 1988 for Jesse Jackson to ditch his quixotic run before all the primary votes had been tallied? He finished with 1,200 delegates, nearly 1,400 behind Michael Dukakis, yet soldiered on all the way to the convention without having a prayer of winning the nomination. There were few if any media drum sections trying to pound him out of the race.
Or Jerry Brown in 1992? He continued his campaign against Bill Clinton through June despite the fact he tallied fewer than 600 delegates. (By contrast, Hillary Clinton has won approximately 1,600 delegates so far.) Brown’s attacks at the time were far more personal and bruising than anything we’ve seen this cycle. As The New York Times reported on June 2, 1992, Brown “put his party on notice that he intends to carry his politics-is-corrupt, Clinton-is-unelectable message to the Democratic National Convention in New York in July, and beyond.” Brown also told the Times that voting for Clinton was like buying a ticket on the Titanic.
At the time, Clinton was actually polling in third place nationally, behind President George H.W. Bush and independent candidate Ross Perot, so why wasn’t the press in a frenzy demanding that Brown drop out of the race because he was hurting his party’s chances in November?
If you look at Reagan and Kennedy and Hart and Jackson and Brown, those men all ran competitive races. But toward the end of the primary season it was clear most of them had no mathematical chance of winning the nomination. (Reagan was the exception.) Yet none of them was told collectively by the press to go home. Nor were they routinely depicted in the media as being self-absorbed.
Today, Clinton does have a chance to win. Yet she has been told by the press to go home and to get over herself.

If Obama really wanted to make nicey-nicey:
1. He could have gone for the revote in FL/MI. Carville put $15 million on the table, and Obama has more money than God. So what could have been the issue that would lead Obama to disenfranchise two states?
2. He could have put forward a truly universal health care plan, instead of demagoging on mandates and running Harry and Louise ads.

My own blog, which had many regulars who would come by daily, have disappeared once they turned to Obama. They refused to read anything negative about BO and I would receive e-mails about how *I’ve* changed and am now “bitter”. In fact, I received one e-mail which used the word “bitter” 5 times. They are a bunch of robot soldiers who use all the code words that BO hands them. They can’t even see that they are EXACTLY like the mouth breathing right wingers they have said they despised in the past.
I have nothing but disgust for women who support Obama, their stupidity astounds me.

Seriously. WTF is going on? I noticed that 41% of Texas caucus reported at CNN and thought “WTF?” I checked the state website to see if the vote had been certified and it hasn’t been. The popular vote hasn’t been certified, either.

Weird thing is that MSNBC has a completely different set of #’s (delegates) for the popular vote. They ALSO have the Texas caucus reporting in at 41%.

No Obama, not ever. family pledge- Let’s see, My mon is 82, I have 6 siblings, all with spuses or significant others, in total my motehr has 19 living grandchildren eligible to vote, and two great grandchildren, also voting Hillary and pledged not to vote Obama. Hubby has five sibs and their spouses, and 7 nieces and nephews, all took the pledge.
Not one person I work with will vote Obama and hubby’s whole shift is solid Hillary. (He is working on the pledge, I will keep you updated.)

Thanks for the post. It well reflects the worries I have about the Junior Senator from Illinois and his Obamically Correct minions.
I fit the demographic that could have fallen in with the Obama camp. The misogyny, the vile abuse, everything about the Obama campaign and his supporters strikes me as just another version of Bush. It is his lack of experience, the vagueness of his plans and policies, the cadre of senior supporters propping his candidacy up, the fawning media, his arrogance and disregard for ordinary Americans, and his Stalin-like supporters. He and his cohorts shows more concern for the feelings of Iran’s president than for the innocent victims of 9/11.
I can’t vote for Obama in any context. He seems the great con artist in the same mold as Bush. The Democratic party as envisioned by his constituency has rejected me. Every time I get a call or letter from the DNC or any other liberal organization, I tell or write back to them, thanks for reminding me, I need to donate to Hillary’s campaign, I won’t have any money for you until she wins. If she doesn’t win, my money is going to those organizations and candidates that supported her.
I’m related to many people in South Texas. The feedback I am getting from the Hispanic community is a large “anyone but Obama.” The Hispanic community in Texas is very Democratic but also has a long history of serving in the military and respecting veterans. They don’t find his lack of respect or pride in the country very salutary. Many Hispanics will vote for McCain.
However, I do think Obama has the organization to win and that scares me because his followers and he have all the marks of tyrants. Just like the Bush followers they use threats and intimidation to coerce submission to their rule. It is the systems however that support this behavior. Think about Zimbardo’s studies on the bad systemic structures that lead to evil behavior. The caucus system is rather like the prison experiment Zimbardo set up. It invites abuse. The transition from television to Internet and the consolidation of television into entertainment mega-corporations invites the conditions of abuse. These TV shills are trying to hold onto jobs that are changing, withering away, transiting to new technologies by abusing what they perceive is the metaphoric threat to their existence as men of power – a woman as president. Obama is the jailhouse insider that cages cigarettes from the guards and banters with them so that he doesn’t get the brunt of the abuse little knowing that the moment he does have power, they will turn on him like savage rats.
I am not voting for Obama. I will vote down ticket Democrat and I will write in Hillary Clinton. No threat will make me vote for him. But I want to be for a new direction instead of against this candidate. I agree with many women on this thread that we need to devote our time, energy and money to the andro/feminist (andro referring to males and male feminist supporters, / meaning and/or) causes we believe and can support. I can’t believe how much money I’ve wasted on the Democratic party and various other liberal organizations that think of women as bitches and whores. Never again.
Before I speak my piece I just want to say right on Uppity! I watched Obama speak during the convention in 2003, and before he had spoken more than a paragraph I was onto him and turned off by him. For some strange reason I just couldn’t feel anything for him at all, and now I just can’t stand the man. I have always been for Hillary, always thought she was the best candidate for the job, and will right up until the end, whatever that may be. I understand why the Black community is supporting Obama. This country, my country, has done nothing but beat black men down since the end of slavery. America has done nothing but practice mind numbing, soul crushing racism, to the point where I fear my people will never recover. We protect our own because we know what this country does to them. Do I condone it? No, but I do understand. Unfortunately it is leading us to the wrong decisions of supporting everybody and not filtering out ones such as Obama, who don’t deserve our support. As a Black American and a woman nothing would please me more than to vote for a Black man or woman for president, but Barack Obama is not that candidate. My own opinion is that not only has Obama and the democratic party disenfranchised me, but millions of already disenfranchised and marginalized people, blacks, whites, and hispanics, and the democratic party has allowed them to do so. Our party has moved away from being the party civil rights and service to community, towards being the party of “creatives?” What the hell is that all about? Lately, some whites have not hesitated to write that they are tired paying attention to the needs of blacks as if the stroke of a pen wiped out one hundred plus years of denied education, health care, good paying jobs and housing. This should be chilling for us all. As if racism no longer goes on. Barack Obama does not pay attention to the poor and this is the way they want it. With the party abandoning its’ core principals I don’t know who will fight for these groups if not the democratic party. Please, let’s not forget that no matter who comes and goes that there is still work to be done on behalf of those I spoke of, and our vote does most of the work. I hope and pray that at the end of all of this that Hillary is our chosen leader. Otherwise we are going to have to make it hell for the rest of the democratic party in whatever form it exist.

When I ask if you care at all about policy, this is what I mean. Do you care that you are going to pass over a candidate whose stated positions on the above issues almost EXACTLY match those of your chosen candidate? Or that the man you are going to vote for instead of Hillary is pretty much as different, policy-wise, as is possible in mainstream American politics?
I don’t think Obama is going to be as good at getting things done as Hillary would have been. But when it comes to what these three candidates believe in, go to their official websites and compare. The two Democrats’ platforms are extremely similar, and they are both starkly different from McCain’s.
Of course this is America and we are all free to vote based on whatever criterion we want. If you really believe that Obama is a secret Muslim or a terrorist or massively corrupt, like Larry Johnson does, then by all means vote against him. It just seems silly to give up on your Democratic values because of some unsubstantiated rumors you read on blogs like this one.
Here is the deal. I didn’t and won’t give up, Obama is immoral. Beyond that one fact what else matters? Perhaps the company he keeps?

I don’t really understand what you mean re: education. However I will point out that Obama and Clinton agree with each other about sex ed., school vouchers and increasing funding, and McCain disagrees with them both.

a) I will not support such a flawed and incredibly ignorant primary process that will allow the activists in the party to over rule the popular vote.
b) I’m going to make sure I send a message to the press that misogamy is not ok with me. Screw all of them, Olberman, Mathews and the bunch. My god, I can only imagine the $$$ value of the free, uninterrupted air time they given Obama to lull the masses into believing he is actually the real deal
c) AS a democratic activist, I’ve watched the complete irrationality of activists in the Dem party. Obama’s coronation was a given once he broke things loose in S.C. via effective race baiting.
d) I’m going to teach the DNC a lesson about allowing a candidate such as Obama to accuse long time civil rights activists of being racist AND not uttering one word of correction.
f) I want to teach the AA community that just because you CAN vote as a mindless block of people, throw the people who supported your equality for decades under the bus for a black candidate, and believe that you can absolutely ignore the Dr. King’s admonishment to NOT JUDGE BY THE COLOR OF ONE’S SKIN…that it ISN’T OK with me. It doesn’t make me a racist, it does point out that the AA community needs to wake up and realize that a 90% + vote for Obama is indeed racism of the worst sort.
