His mistake was not in counting the states properly, but in failing to say that he wants to visit 57 states. And who doesn’t? Why didn’t he say that he wanted to bring back “manifest destiny” a little earlier in the campaign? That would have helped him with the Reagan Democrats. For sure.

I started this primary cycle assuming it was about the best candidate. Now it’s clear that a lot of the Hillary camp - and Hillary herself with her most recent remarks about “hardworking Americans, white Americans” supporting her - are about one cut above Joe Lieberman as reliable Democrats.
Stick around for the rampant racism. This blog has slightly more intelligent people posting than TM - not quite as much “Rise, Hillary, Rise!” and “our girl”, but much nastier.
From someone who supports a candidate whose based an entire campaign on “nothing,” literally, you’ll forgive most of us for laughing at your judgment calls of character, as there’s obviously something fundamentally flawed with your analysis.

I went over to his site one time to leave a comment about something he had said that was offensive to me - can’t remember what as there have been so many - and the next day I started to get emails asking for money. I had to unsubscribe. A few days ago I received a fund raising letter with a computer screw up name for myself and husband that has been floating around awhile. He clearly had bought access to a liberal database that had that name on it. They seem to be covering every possible avenue for funds. I have also received calls from his campaign though I have never given any money or my name etc. The person on the other end of the line started out by saying “now that he has won the nomination” and this was weeks ago!

Much derisive laughter, and you can almost hear the Clinton supporters and fair-minded listeners not completely in the tank for Obama being completely turned off.

Think Dick does anything for free? Nope. Guess where everyone’s donations went? To providing travel to Kenya for Morris (and whomever else went to work on the campaign with him), for lodging and food (think Dick would stay at a Motel 6 in Kenya?

the attention span of many obama supporters is about as long as his and that isn’t much. this guy gets bored with each job before the drapes are even hung. and he is out looking for another. he doesn’t want to study the issues. he wants someone to write him a “great speech” so people will drool, stomp, and clap for him. the party elders will use him and then cast him off after he has been the spoiler or poison pill they intended. now his supporters with their short attention span says to me a good percentage won’t be there in november.
In Texas, Obama voters did not vote for any of the downticket races. They made their mark for him and beat feet. Screw everyone else, they only exist for him.

Yes, we should be very concerned. Hillary seems to handle pressure extremely well. Obama does not. In fact, what real pressure has he had? Looking at Obama lately I don’t think he has the stomach for the General Election. He’s chickened out of debating Hillary and backed off his campaign schedule. And every time I see him lately, he looks like he realizes that he’s in way over his head. He looks like he’s being lead to the gallows.
Hillary didn’t even lay a glove on him. Wait ’till the Repubs start their scorched Earth attack on him. He’s pissed off and alienated half the Dem party, so he’s lost alot of valuable defensive resources. I myself, in the past, have defended him from those slanderous email attacks to my Father-in-law, Brother, Sister, Mother and friends. I almost punched someone out at the local Irish pub because he was yelling “don’t vote for the black guy. He’s a secret Muslim”, until I realized he was stone cold drunk (if you ever knocked out a drunk before, you know what I mean). I did tell him to STFU, though. But I stopped defending Obama when he started smearing the Clintons as racists. Now when people make outlandish attacks on Obama, I try hard to conceal my grin and I say “whatever Obama is or isn’t, one thing for sure is that he is an asshole and so are many of the far left scumbags who support him”.
