Keep the message of running for President for YOU, the time has come for US!

Law 45 Preach the Need for Change, but Never Reform too much at Once
The continual theme of Obama, who has done no reform to date!

Law 46 Never appear too Perfect
Continual statements by Obama of Michelle always reminding Obama of not being Perfect!

Law 47 Do not go Past the Mark you Aimed for; In Victory, Learn when to Stop
Motion in place for May 20th, to force issues and seek out the fear of rebellion by this action!

Law 48 Assume Formlessness
Never offering a comprehensive plan on policy and when rebuffed by Advisor, dismiss the Advisor!

Now that you can see the Obama campaign properly, an explaination:

So now you have seen the 48 Laws Obama has followed. It will surprise you to know that this set of Laws that are the discovery of American Socioligist, Professor and Writter Robert Greene in his book, The 48 Laws of Power, compiled from anecdotes from notable historical figures such as Talleyrand, Otto von Bismarck, Catherine the Great, Mao Zedong, Haile Selassie, Lola Montez, Saul Alinsky and various con artists in order to exemplify the 48 Laws.

Basic bottom line:

You are seeing before your eyes a political operation predicated on a set of Laws of Power and control that many nefarious leaders have used to form States whose functioning was a result of the ability of leaders to dupe the masses! As Greene states, it is all about ILLUSIONS! And who is the creator of these illusions? David Axelrod, Chief Strategist of the Obama Campaign, who has followed Greene’s text to the letter.

BAMBOOZLE! HOODWINK! OKIE-DOKE!

In other words, people, Obama and Axelrod have conned you and the Media by following rules that deceive you!

48 states, 48 laws of power: why does 48 seem to be Barack Obama’s lucky number?

Comment by BernieO | 2008-05-13 07:34:19

It may be 48 laws but Obama clearly missed #5 - guard your reputation with your life. That is a rule that is a good one to follow, yet Obama had no trouble associating with the likes of Rezko, even after it was publicly known that he was under federal investigation for corruption.
This fact is the thing that makes me really question Obama’s psychological health. For any Democratic politician who has lived through the right wing’s trashing of Clinton, Gore, Kerry, and Cleland to think that he could get away with associating with a guy like Rezko is a clear indication of the delusions of a narcissist. We have suffered through two terms of a Republican like that and now the Democratic party and the media wants to give us 8 more years of this kind of thing? What has gone wrong with our society?

Comment by marshall | 2008-06-19 09:51:04

Hmmm, but other than the house he purchased what other ties does he have with this man. funny how our government is trying to coerce Rezko into embellishing the truth to implicate Obama. Please tell me what has gone wrong with our society.

dont mind them, they are the enemy of democracy

Comment by Frank G | 2008-11-15 01:08:57

Dude, you are stating in one of the laws that his weakness that he must transform is that he is Black? Come on! Blacks with Blacks and Whites with Whites? I can’t believe what you’re saying.

I’m with you in the fact that Obama seems to have gone Law by Law to win this Presidency, but, the fact is that this is what people want.

The prophet Samuel told us that we don’t need a king or a leader because we have the WORD of GOD! But how many of us think like that. So what did he do??? He gave us Saul!

To be honest, aren’t you trying to employ the same tactics that Obama has enacted and Robert Greene wrote!

Are you one of those who are scared that a Black man will do to you what you’ve done to them? Just a question. Frannk G.

It is important to remember that in 1980 Teddy Kennedy was 900 delegates behind Carter and he STAYED IN THE RACE until the convention. He relented the night before the nominating vote. He then gave one of the great speeches in convention history. many thought at the time that had he made the speech before he quit he would have swung the convention to his side.

Kennedy refused to leave the race - though he did not have enough delegates to win - over 900 shy.

Comment by Judith | 2008-05-12 21:28:59

Kennedy is a hypocrite. Bill and Hillary Clinton campaigned for him, when he was in danger of losing his Senate seat. He needs to just retire and go home.

Comment by jes | 2008-05-12 22:06:13

And don’t forget that Bill Clinton also had the Coast Guard search for days for JFK, Jr’s remains when his plane went down. Clinton took a lot of flak in the press for doing that. And this is how Kennedy has shown his gratitude. By stabbing Clinton in the back.

Yea ain’t that a thing…

Comment by BernieO | 2008-05-13 07:26:41

That is because he thinks the Clintons betrayed the Kennedys when Hillary pointed out - correctly - that it was President Johnson who got the Civil Rights Act passed. Most people think it was Kennedy. According to published reports his staff said that Ted had a meltdown when he heard what Hillary said because he thought it tarnished Jack’s legacy.

Comment by Mike Howell | 2008-05-12 23:09:20

Teddy Kennedy has a home?

I thought he just slimed around in his boxers between Au Bar and the beach hoping to pick up on some passed out date of his nephews.

What a drunken whale of a loser.

I have to wonder, does big oil, (who really seems to be the Obama shaker and mover here), do they really want Obama in, seeing him as their key to Africa, African oil, and fighting the Chinese, (in regard to oil), there?

I thought, at first, it was just a rouse to get McCain in, but the Ondinga/Nigerian/Libyan connection rings true, and I was wondering how they , as they seem to feel they are a power unto themselves, how they were dealing with the Asian powers in Africa? Perhaps Cheney can’t or won’t send the army there, but Obama will, as he’s more there boy, pocketed?

So, you know, might not be too far fetched to think McCain, the republican, might not be the candidate of big oil this time, Obama is, for African access.

The future of big oil: BO.

But we knew that, didn’t we?

Ondinga Bay, wasn’t that a 60’s hit?

(sorry, this trash slaughters innocents, I have no respect for him, or his kind, AT ALL).

Comment by Untilthelastdogdies | 2008-05-12 21:57:22

how they were dealing with the Asian powers in Africa?

I think you may be on to something here, I’ve been so pissed-off at everything else that i haven’t given this much thought…

Obama could easily be the tool of Big Oil where African Foreign Policy is concerned, given the reality that Putin is still very much in control of Russia and more than likely to throw his lot in with the Asian powers.

Big Oil knows that Putin played W like a Stratavarius after their little meeting of minds in Crawford.

Comment by hammeringspammers | 2008-05-12 22:05:32

China is essentially creating much of the African infrastructure, too, providing billions of dollars to the dictators, none to the people.

How do the Chinese deal with American/international big oil, overall?

And wasn’t Auchi convicted for bribing African officials in connection with ELF? And guess who just set up a microfinancing operation, in Nigeria, in conjunction with the central bank of Nigeria?

WHY, LOOK, it’s AUCHI…

THE Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) plans to empower operators of Microfinance Banks across the country through an elaborate certification programme in collaboration with the West African Institute for Financial and Economic Management (WAIFEM), Financial Institution Training Centre (FITC) and the Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIBN).

It also said it was aware of the challenges confronting MFBs particularly in the areas of skill gaps/capacity building and the operating environment adding that knowledge and skills in microfinance concepts and methodology were still at the rudimentary stage in Nigeria.

The bank’s Director, Other Financial Institutions Department, Mrs. A.O Ogunnaike, made this disclosure over the weekend at the official commissioning of Auchi Microfinance Bank Ltd,Auchi, in Edo State.

I suppose you got the spelling right. In which case I stop here. But if you were wrong and instead meant Odinga, the Kenya PM, then I think you are one of the few who are ever past by every American election. You do not make a difference at all. The reason is, you do not even know what you are looking for because you do not know what you want.

America is an oil endless pit and the same reason you do not mind spending USD10bln a month in running a country that hates you as a plague. The reason you went to the international human court where you were judge and both benches and accused Iraq of WOMD and sentenced it to hang by overunning the innocents and their livelihoods for no cause.

You handed over Saddam to his tribal haters and you witnessed his blood spew. Yet you talk of oil, innocents and your immoderated ethos linking bystanders to an event you are losing for your natural weakness.

For the records I implore you to look at the Nigerian, Sudanese or Libyan interests that America has not done in the immediate previous past that it would take Obama to make right. You need to be more precious in your research on events beyond your borders like I do if you are interested to use your findings to support certain important decisions you’d pray for others to make. The world has more democrats (I mean democrats) outside America than what America by its nature has given the world in the past and five of them come to mind - Kibaki, Mandela, Gadafi, Odinga and Chairman Mao.

And in telling you that maybe I should let you know that the world might eventually be geared towards a more sane error with the ascendancy of Barack Obama, whom, as you point out, is more Africa’s son. And how do you tell Americans these days?

That is the squalid mentality that has knocked out every noble sense from the thinking and orientations of McCain and Palin that each time they speak they paint America’s future with the same sticky statements that court rebellion by every coma, the very one that the world has resented.

Leave Africa out of the mess that you see in front of you. Our noble sons and daughters know how to live with our neighbors - we fight and make up. Our people are not in the business of dividing the world into axis of evil, our enemies, our allies and other centric selfish balderdash. Use your vote for McCain instead of abusing Africa.

What do you know of India and Indians in Africa? You would not understand if I told you that everyone in Africa is African. Leave Indian Africans alone to enjoy the fresh scenarios in their homeland (and which you dream) that is Africa. You can do whatever you want with Black Americans!

Presently doing a follow up to this piece, hope to have it done tomorrow, remember the name Saul Alinsky, it is a VERY important name! It was mentioned on O’Reiley tonight and fluffed off, but that name carries a ton of weight from:

The weather underground
SDS
Community Organizing
The Woods Foundation
Bill Ayers and Dohrn today!
The workingsof Chicago Politics
and bottom line communism and Marxist view that have been in Obama’s forefront his entire life since the age of 10 years old!

And Alinsky is seen as some like David Sirota as a role model and intellectual founder of the “progressive” movement.

And he’s one of Barky’s biggest supporters as well.

It also makes me wonder who else in the netroots and progressive movement has drank deeply from the poisoned well of Alinsky.

I bet more than a few but they won’t admit for being outed as Marxist-terrorist trash.

It is a sad fact that Barack Obama sneers at experience — yes, sneers at experience — and points to his statement that he would not have voted for the Iraq war resolution as proof that he has better judgment than those with more experience.

BUT, Obama also told his campaign audiences, when he was running for the U.S. Senate in 2003 and 2004, that he opposed NAFTA. Yet, once Obama was safely installed in the U.S. Senate, he voted to EXPAND NAFTA.

So, who knows what Obama would have done if he had been IN the U.S. Senate at the time of the Iraq war vote. Obama had said a lot of things that later turned out not to be true or the way he voted.

While campaigning for the U.S. Senate in 2003 and 2004, Obama also said he would never vote to fund the Iraq war, yet once safely installed in the U.S. Senate, he voted to fund the Iraq war every time the issue came up for a vote (with the exception of the last vote, on which both Obama and Hillary voted “no.”)

We have already elected one president , George W. Bush, who had no international experience, and look what that did to our country and the world. During the 2000 election campaign season, pundits and Bush supporters assured us Bush would be surrounded by people who had more and better knowledge than he did. BUT my question at the time was HOW would such an inexperienced person be able to decide what was the right advice from among the often conflicting advice he would get from different advisors. Well, we found out — to our horror — what happens when we have a president with little national experience and no international experience. And, no, please don’t tell me that living in a foreign country from the age of six to ten (as Obama did) provides sufficient knowledge and experience regarding complicated international relationships and wars.

It would be hard to do a worse job of fighting the Iraq war than Bush has done, but that’s what can happen when we have an inexperienced person as President.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt had important Washington and even international experience during his years as the Assistant Secretary of the Navy. FDR gained important knowledge during those years, knowledge that proved critical to FDR’s presidency and his outstanding leadership that enabled America and its allies to win World War II.

It is STUPID to sneer at Washington experience and international experience (as Obama has done) — and it is a mark of Obama’s immaturity that he does so.

What do you call President Bush? He is the biggest chameleon, excuse me liar on the earth. I guess you think it’s a coincidence that the gas prices are this high? especially considering how he made his millions…

Comment by Soulman | 2008-10-03 05:13:32

LIGHTACANDLE experience is as one lined as it is a one word. Quick questions. When George Bush Jnr was coming in what experience did he have? His being a son of a past President or him living at the Whitehouse for 8 years and seeing his father working late into the night consulting on Saddam and Osama with Collin?

What experience to the Presidency is McCain bringing to Whitehouse that is necessary and is needed? Being a veteran and having stared death in the eye and survived in the war? Aint America got other Veterans? Is America promising the world they will constantly be at war?

Hillary was more experienced than Obama. Was it because she and her President husband lived at Whithouse while he was on the job? If that is all she needed as a cutting edge is Hillary the only woman to have lived with her husband at the Whitehouse while he is on the job and so gained the invaluable knowledge by repetition?

Trivialities amaze me on how irrational they can make strong points appear. America’s President is Commander In Chief and war is all he is in for because America must find enemies, invest in fighting them, threaten the world, digress world development at intervals inorder to maintain its Superpowerdom.

And you think that is what the World should wake up to.

Barack Obama is 14 years younger than Hillary Clinton and yet it is HE who is tired and making mistakes. He’s all worn out, yet she keeps going like the energizer bunny.

That does not bode well if Obama were to become president. Heavens know what a tired Obama might give away in negotiations with some leader of a hostile country — you know, one of those “enemy” leaders Obama is so blithe to meet with.

On February 21, 2008, Obama said, “I do think that it is important for the United States not just to talk to its friends but also to talk to its ENEMIES.”

I just hope that if Obama becomes president he is rested and has had enough sleep whenever he goes to one of those unconditional meetings with an enemy leader.

On Friday, Barack Obama, as NewsBusters John Stephenson reported, told an Oregon audience that “I’ve been in 57 states, (with) I think one left to go.”

http://www.bizzyblog.com/2008/05/11/old-media-ignores-obamas-57-states-but-couldnt-get-enough-of-quayles-potatoe/

Is Obama ALREADY having a “senior moment”?

“Obama Says He’s Visited 57 States”

By John Stephenson | May 9, 2008

Amazingly, Barack Obama claims to have visited 57 states! I’m going to be generous and chalk this gaffe up to exhaustion, because it is difficult for me to fathom that someone who wants to be the President of the United States could actually be this stupid. Watch the video.

I will give Obama the benefit of the doubt on this, and you can bet the media will give it a complete pass.

Comment by SKMF | 2008-05-12 23:11:09

i found this comment interesting over at craig crawfords blog:
*****************************************************

Warren, you actual said that Obama is more electible because Hillary has gne hard left in the primary? I guess lawyers will say anything it takes to get their defendant off the hook. Isn’t that true? I can’t really believe you said that. EVERYONE has observed that because Hillary blocked the center, Obama was forced to go Left of her. From what planet do you hail? And the world is flat, yes? To deny this basic observation of Hillary being the centrist is an example of your disregard for facts. I am surprised you were taught such disregard for evidence in becoming a lawyer. I have the glove Warren and it fits Obama not Hillary.

Not only did Obama go left of Hillary regarding capital gains tax, but he stuttered after being lectured that raising the capital gains LOWERS revenue to the government. His defense positions are LEFT of HIllary. Almost every defender of Obama acknowledges his associations, record and history is more Left than Hillary as HE CALLS her a Republican lite. It is completely amazing and I have concluded you are simply here to spout whatever you must to play the Obama move of the day. Yesterday he threatened to nuke Iran and today he wants to talk. His position on Israel is Left of Hillary. His position on missile defense is left of Hillary. His position on immigration and licenses is Left of Hillary. His position on corporate tax is Left of Hillary. His position on the Patriot Act is Left of Hillary. His position on Iran, Darfur, Syria, and Iraq is Left of Hillary. His position on guns is Left of Hillary. His position on Pastors is Left of Hillary.

By most media measure Obama represents the NeoLIberals and Hillary the Clinton Referendum which is a more centrist approach. But then a lawyer would suggest any theory that would exonerate his client and a politician would say anything that worked. He would even start wearing a flag pin.

And yet you out the absurd notion that Hillary is the Leftist and Obama is the Centrist. WTF This is exactly the dishonest line that Obama himself will now take against McCain and why it is too hard for many Liberals to accept the make-it-up-as-we-go-along tactics of the Obama campaign. Bill Clinton didn’t runon a make beleive centrist line, he was a person who wanted to move Liberals closer to center after years of the more zLiberal losing. The NYT goes into detail describing the CLinton referendum and how this election is a choice between the more Liberal wing and the centrist one. Your claim in not only wrong, but designed to continue the tactics of saying whatever is required to win, even if it false and reansparently so. It is simply disingenuous. It is lying. Just like the fantasy that we can double SOF without seriously damaging it. Sure. let Obama and Pelosi do exactly that. That we can bomb our way into terror caves and keep Iran at bay as we retreat is another fantasy. It is foolish.

Now as Obama tries to pivot center, you have the balls to say McCain ain’t centrist but Obama is, even more than Hillary. It is a joke and a bad one at that. Keep it up and show us why Obama’s camp cannot be trusted to keep their story straight, let alone our ship of State.

Obama the centrist?…..LOL

I have been making my way thru this book for a few months now. It reads like a primer for Obama’s personal campaign style. It started as an interesting enough read, then I started to recognize the tactics as they were being deployed by Obama. I suggest that ANY campaign managerial type (or worker) read this manual, cause that’s what it is. By the way, I’d also say that The Art of Seduction rules are also in play.

And here are Alinsky’s rules

Rule 1: Power is not only what you have, but what an opponent thinks you have. If your organization is small, hide your numbers in the dark and raise a din that will make everyone think you have many more people than you do.

Rule 2: Never go outside the experience of your people.

Rule 3: Whenever possible, go outside the experience of an opponent. Here you want to cause confusion, fear, and retreat.

Rule 4: Make opponents live up to their own book of rules. “You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity.”

Rule 5: Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It’s hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.

Rule 6: A good tactic is one your people enjoy. “If your people aren’t having a ball doing it, there is something very wrong with the tactic.”

Rule 7: A tactic that drags on for too long becomes a drag. Commitment may become ritualistic as people turn to other issues.

Rule 8: Keep the pressure on. Use different tactics and actions and use all events of the period for your purpose. “The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this that will cause the opposition to react to your advantage.”

Rule 9: The threat is more terrifying than the thing itself. When Alinsky leaked word that large numbers of poor people were going to tie up the washrooms of O’Hare Airport, Chicago city authorities quickly agreed to act on a longstanding commitment to a ghetto organization. They imagined the mayhem as thousands of passengers poured off airplanes to discover every washroom occupied. Then they imagined the international embarrassment and the damage to the city’s reputation.

Rule 10: The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative. Avoid being trapped by an opponent or an interviewer who says, “Okay, what would you do?”

Rule 11: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it. Don’t try to attack abstract corporations or bureaucracies. Identify a responsible individual. Ignore attempts to shift or spread the blame.

You all should read the book, its excellent. Even if Obama were using it (and he may be) that doesn’t change the value of the information synthesized. While there are examples of con men, there are also many examples of some of histories greatest figures.

Robert Greene used to has a blog which hasn’t been updated since January but in his last entry he talks about what Obama should be doing and what Hillary should be doing to try to win the election and he’s not too far off.

33 Strategies of War is great too.

But it reveals that Obama is just the creation of a man named Axelrod, a political operative who is both derivative and devoid of any interesting ideas.

On the money Mel, I salute ya. Like that song by Paul Simon “50 Ways” oops 48 ways.

Law 44 Disarm and Infuriate with the Mirror Effect

Obama had a “dairy” in 2007 on K*ofsak where he talked about making the mirror effect by forcing the center of democratic party to protect its left flank.
This whole division in the democratic party was part of the marketing pacakge. I dought it will work when the SD’s see how badly they were played. Maybe they ARE that blind. We shall see.

Well done.

I wish this was an April Fools Day joke:

If President Bush vetoes an Iraq war spending bill as promised, Congress quickly will provide the money without the withdrawal timeline the White House objects to because no lawmaker “wants to play chicken with our troops,” Sen. Barack Obama said Sunday.

What a ridiculous thing to say. Not only is it bad policy, not only is it bad politics, it’s also a terrible negotiating approach.

Instead of threatening Bush with even more restrictions and daring him to veto funding for the troops out of pique, Barack just surrendered to him.

Let me repeat that — Obama just surrendered to Bush.

Oh a now look at him…April fools indeed.

Those videos are the funniest things I’ve seen in a long time!

I love them!

Who’s the guy who makes them?

What a revelation!
You’ve closed some files that I had opened while trying to decipher the underlying philosophy of this illusionist.
Thanks a lot.

From day 1 I knew something just wasn’t right!
The creepy feeling I got was not unwarranted, after all.

Would the counter strategy be equally complex and perhaps also include subtlety in parts??! After all there should also be a reference manual for
deconstructing such deviousness. Even at this stage.

Pity this wasn’t decoded early enough in the campaign. But then, one would not have expected a family member to operate like a mole. It sure felt like “sleeping with the enemy”.

The videos lightened the drama.
I truly appreciate the education.

Comment by AnninCA | 2008-05-13 09:09:55

Obama definitely did exactly as you point out. What I will never quite understand is how so many educated people defended these tactics and turned on Hillary, who did not treat people this way. I’m personally not comfortable thinking it was about misogyny. Yet, fairly educated people repeatedly ignored the obvious and pounded on her without even being embarassed that they were so clearly wrong.

That phenomena baffles me.

This is ridiculous. You could superimpose those laws on anything popular. Do it for Mccain.

Comment by Dennis | 2008-06-24 15:55:14

So did you actually read the book, friend, or just quickly glance at the laws, browse over some conservative blogs, and spit this out in ten minutes?

For example:

Law 10 is about avoiding dangerous, self-destructive people who may pull you into their wake and end up destroying you, and aligning yourself with happy and fortunate people who will influence you for the good.

This law has jack to do with Florida and Michigan not getting their votes counted. However, it does have a lot to do with why he distanced himself from Rev. Wright.

Law 16 has nothing to do with Rev. Wright. Using “absence to increase honor and respect” means removing yourself from a group temporarily to increase your respect within that group. Obama pulled himself away from Wright because it was hurting his campaign, not so Wright would honor and respect him more.

The rest of your arguments are just too weak to warrant comment.

It’s a shame. I was looking forward to a good read.

Not only haven’t you read the book, but you just seem to forget that every good politician in the world follow these rules, because the fact is you can’t access to power if you do contradict the majority of them.

Comment by Obama4YOMomma | 2008-08-13 11:21:23

So True Jim, I’m sure some Obama supporters could apply the same 48 laws to Hillary.
Only I guess she doesn’t employ them very well because she lost the nomination.
How can you say Obama plays the underdog when Hillary is consistently CRYING about how she is treated in the press or about an SNL SKIT. Give me a break lets focus on more pressing issues Hillary Fans.
So what if Obama’s name is arabic does that make him any less American the author of this sounds like a racist bigot.
“Playing the race card” Obama has never played the race card in this election.

GET OVER IT HILLARY LOST!!!!

First of all the laws of power can be applied to every politician in history it is required political reading and that is also where you would find the book in the book store so congratulations on stating the oblivious what gets me most about you Obama bashers is that you never offer anything constructive to the table when discussing these issues it is all about Obama this and that which really sounds as if you are being racist you don’t like that a black man is running the United States of America and your sick to your stomach and need a outlet without sounding like you are un hip or a racist which seems to be taboo now with his election. and anyone who would post something like this doesn’t really understand the laws of power nor does anyone who agrees with this post you are a enthusiast and need to find a more positive outlet for that energy as a matter a fact is I don’t care for the President myself and that is for other reasons most people wouldn’t agree with and I don’t care to discuss Its like my own little personal in my head thing but that’s another story bottom line if you want to help the situation then why don’t you do something constructive in your community be active and help out where you see fit to start change you want to see don’t just sit around writing BS which looks like you spent a lot of time on which I think I am spending too much on this response anyhow change starts with you not the president people who write these articles are the worse because all they do is focus on problems and offer no solutions that’s a number 10 character type all day. Well I offer this solution start with yourself and then your community until you can run for office and talk about some issues and no one person cannot be a issue and if you are already doing that your platform so far sucks
