Will Barack Throw Mama From the Train? [Update Two] + NEW THREAD

COMMENTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW CLOSED, and new comments may be posted in the third thread above.

We had over 600 comments in the original post below — “Will Barack Throw Mama From the Train? [Update Two]” — and bega a new thread. We’ll wait about 10-15 minutes to close comments on the previous thread, just in case there’s a reply you may need to get in.

THIS IS THE STORY. And it is thanks to LARRY JOHNSON that we have a good shot at wresting control from the “happy world” hacks at the DNC and get people with COMMON SENSE to hire the best woman for the job of president.

I sneaked in a new story, third down from the top — a hilarious remix of Obama’s 57-state gaffe.

Wasn’t it ABC before who had bought all of the tapes and started going through them? If so, maybe they’ll find this, too, and publish it before it’s too late.

Comment by RMJ | 2008-05-16 15:01:21

Maybe ABC bought them with the intention of keeping anything they found until after they succeeded in getting BO nominated.

I find this entire primary has been a gigantic eye opener for how dishonest the DNC has been in their efforts to keep Hillary off the ticket. They have turned a blind eye to so many absolutely unethical and questionable tactics.

Comment by Leisa | 2008-05-16 16:37:57

I agree with you. $$ rules their world, and Obama has it… and it is not the $5 contributors that the DNC wants to line their coffers.

Comment by AnninCA | 2008-05-16 17:51:12

Sort of, but the Clintons raised tons of money for them, too.

That’s why the rules committee has Clinton backers as the majority, and why they have to avoid that if possible to win.

FOOLS!

Comment by raymo, a.k.a. sweetie | 2008-05-16 16:20:26

Chumps? What is this–1953?

If the race was over you wouldn’t be so hysterical, and you certainly wouldn’t be spending your time on this website.

No, I think you’re scared. I think you know there’s more dirt out there. Big piles and mounds of dirt. I think you know Clinton is going to have more votes when this is all over.

Comment by Clinton Fan | 2008-05-16 16:30:50

You have NAILED it. Scared of dirt, and scared of the voice of those people and that pesky popular vote.

It’s funny how that works, isn’t it? They’re both transparaent AND pathetic!!

Why aren’t they popping the champagne, if it’s all over?

Why aren’t they being conciliatory, and unifying, instead of argumentative?

What’s funniest of all is that they think that ALL CAPS WILL SOMEHOW CONVINCE YOU TO CHANGE YOUR MIND.

Axlerod isn’t getting his money’s worth with these Obamaposters. That much is plain.

Sorry you people didn’t INSIST that your candidate fully disclose his TRUE intentions.

Public relations only works for so long. Projection only works for so long. I suggest that you hold Obama accountable for his lies and misdeeds. His supporters have a lot to be angry about. Betrayal at its finest. You have my deepest sympathies.

Comment by AnninCA | 2008-05-16 19:28:36

I agree totally. At the time he was at his popular peak, I wondered if the very people he was attracting are equipped to handle the reality. They really didn’t realize he’s a Chicago politician. They really did buy in, hook, line, and sinker.

I doubt the AA voter bloc did entirely. They’ve been there, done that with politicians.

But the young crowd? They really don’t know.

I have to agree with many folks here who have noted the HUGE amount of BO supporters who are bothering to post here. Regardless of anything else, this gives me heart that the race is far from over because you folks are all trying to make money off of an unsettled mess. This is very, very good. Not worth arguing with you but it is hopeful that you are spending this amount of time. I would have been hopeful anyway, but this certainly verifies my beliefs here.

Clinton’s debt must be the talking point of the day. I like to read talkleft and someone posted the same thing over there. I have noticed sites getting weak on being willing to stand up to their own party and not vote for Obama.

Some of the people were so inspired by Clinton’s attitude regarding the sexism (great attitude), that if she asked them to vote for Obama they would now consider it. Is it just me or does that seem kind of spineless? I can’t stand him. (or the party right now)

I support Clinton for president, but not even she can get me to vote for Obama.

Nice to come read here and see people so fired up.

Comment by Shainzona | 2008-05-16 21:06:52

I for one will not be scared or fooled this time with the diversions and scandals. I will vote Obama.

I knew what Michelle meant as well as many of you and the American people are really smart.

Obama bashing is not working, we are all looking for a change and McCain is not it. He seems to be close to an Alzehimers victim. Can’t remember, changes his mind ever day.

The repubs have lawyers, guns, money, a multi million dollar PR firm, and a might makes right attitude. THERE’S NO WAY, barky will withstand the coming onslaught. The only folks who have kicked GOP ass are the Clintons and you neophites are too stupid to see it. But hey, Donna Brazilla says you don’t need us or our donations. I am ashamed as a white person to see that we still live in a country with racism. You guys are making us an embarrassment to the world.

He we are supposed to be the land of opportunity, unless you are black. That is the message we are sending. This is shameful.

Comment by TeakWoodKite | 2008-05-16 18:35:41

ashamed as a white person

Here it is in black and white for all to read.

Another one bites the dust.

It is not about what color you are, it is about the content of a person character and that of their associations.

Poor bugger, you would think it was a “wanted ad” from “Red Shoe Dairies”

Wanted; Guilty white person…

Nothing personal LA but take your “we message” of guilt and put it where the sun don’t shine. If I take responsibility for my actions then what in hell is the guilt thing about?

Comment by Uppity Woman | 2008-05-16 20:48:08

Don’t even think of giving up on Hillary, Obama bots and Republicans want her to drop out now for a reason!

The DNC have rules which they have already violated. Their rules call for a maximum 50% reduction in the number of delegates. They broke their rules to revoke 100% of the delegates. The DNC didn’t even bother conducting an investigation (as required by the rules) before hurling the harshest sanctions possible at Florida and Michigan. The rules of the DNC also state that if the legislature moves the the date of the primary/caucus against the wishes of the DNC that the state need only make a good faith effort to remedy the problem. Both Florida and Michigan tried to develop a plan to revote. It was Sen. Obama who stopped the vote. Thus, both made a good faith effort. Thus, both delegations should be seat (100%) at the convention. Further, there is no provision for reducing the total number of votes needed to gain the nomination even if the delegation is reduced. It only states that that delegations number will be reduced not the total needed for nomination (2209).

Grandfather who fought in WWII and had a military burial (check it out)

Rude: He never encouraged his audience, in fact stopped them from negative response, as for finger flipping, he did nothing of the sort. Only people who would do that can imagine and willfully misinterpret his gesture.
Then you go into physical characteristics, and his huge ears. ]
Well you convinced me. Someone with huge ears doesn’t deserve to be President.

You got it wrong:

Obama said his dead Kenyan father had a coffin draped in the US flag.

The grandfather came later when some else caught up with it and pointed out this couldn’t be true since his the father’s burial happened in Kenyao]

Kind of Obama saying ” I already visited all 57 states and have one more to go” ….

Lamentable….

Comment by Gary McGowan | 2008-05-16 18:10:42

Something else that Senator McCain can’t see:

“The Obama agitation should not be seen as a political campaign of the customary type, but rather as a strange hybrid between a political campaign and a relatively new type of covert operation of the intelligence agencies. The initial thrust of the Obama campaign was the attempt to achieve nomination by acclamation through a surprise people power coup or color revolution employing the same repertoire of techniques which the CIA, the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), the Soros foundations, the Brzezinski clique, and Gene Sharp’s Albert Einstein Institute have carried out recently in such places as Belgrade, Serbia; Tiflis, Georgia; and Kiev, Ukraine. Something similar is afoot in Tibet and in the rest of China.

“These color revolutions have exhibited common features like a telegenic demagogue, generous CIA-NED support in cash and narcotics, the cynical gaming of existing political customs and party rules, savvy exploitation of the internet, fake polling, media hysteria, catchy slogans and colors to establish branding, and the widespread use of rent-a-mobs and dupe-a-mobs of swarming adolescents. For the first time in many years, the left wing of the CIA-NED-Soros-Ford complex is assuming center stage inside this country. The last time the left-liberal wing of the intelligence agencies assumed similar importance in domestic affairs was the catastrophic and abortive Carter administration of 1977-1981, which was controlled and ruined by some of the same people, notably Brzezinski, who are running Obama today. …”

- From the Preface, OBAMA: The Postmodern Coup, Webster Griffin Tarpley, 2008

I hope that this tape gets released before August. There’s no time like the present. Thanks Larry for letting us all know about this. You are the man! The TN repubs probably have seen this particular video and that is why they released that 4 minute tape about MO not being proud of her country. They are just getting warmed up. I also saw that Obama challenged McCain to a debate. He has the nerve when he is not even the nominee. Obama is going to fall hard off of his pedestal and I am going to enjoy watching it all. I just hope it happens before August.

Yes. And I rather doubt that Michelle Obama will handle it as graciously or professionally as Hillary Clinton did.

Comment by mimi | 2008-05-16 20:53:20

I’m not too sure about that. Why is so anxious to debate McCain and not Hillary? Because he’s got McCain’s number or at least he thinks he does. Obama would not be this bold if he didn’t feel this way. He already got McCain to lose his cool in a Senate run-in. That’s why he’s anxious for Hillary to drop out. The game plan is to make McCain blow his famous stack in a way the will scare the voting public into not voting for him. If I were McCain’s people I’d delve into the Senate incident, study it to find out what indeed was the tipping point and strengthen my resolve. I’d also make Obama wait. Like he’s trying to do with Hillary. McCain should also study the earlier debates where Obama sucked. Obama is not the best debater in the world. So his cockiness could backfire if McCain plays him right and is astute. Of course, I’m hoping that none of this will come to pass and McCain will have to face the more formidable debater : Hillary.

mikeindc,I notice the Obama trolls are busy inviting themselves to the Hillary threads this days.It shows the rudeness of Obamas’minions.
For your information, mike, sweetie, there is nothing to show of Obama’s greet accomplishment in his resume. Why will I hire him to the highest government office, when his rival has a long list of successful accomplishments in her resume?
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is the next USA President!!
We love America & that is the reason we are fighting for Hillary!GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

Comment by Gary McGowan | 2008-05-16 18:45:51

Well, mike in DC, Senator Obama’s wife DID in fact say to a reporter, that she would like to rip President Bill Clinton’s eyes out while clawing at the air with her fingernails.

Also we remember her very public statement that she had never been proud of her country until her husband’s presidential campaign. (What in he world was she thinking when she studied the Revolutionary War, The Declaration of Independence, Lincoln’s Gettysberg Address, and the presidency of FDR which saved the world from fascist-corporatist rule and–had FDR not died at the end of WWII–would have set all the former colonies of the Anglo-Dutch system on a path of development and freedom from poverty and hunger?

Is this what we want… a first lady who will be saying to a reporter’s query about President Putin of Russia, “I want to rip his eyes out!” with her husband’s chief foreign affairs adviser, Zbigniew Brzezinski, leering in the background?

Now stop before your mom finds out that you’re posting all of this crap on the computer and she asks for her car keys back.

Comment by Greg | 2008-05-16 14:55:49

For the sake of the country, this should be released BEFORE Obama wins the nomination.

I am a Republican but I would rather have Clinton get the nomination on the back of this than use this for the benefit of McCain in the general election.

Mrs. Obama is appalling and this confirms the self loathing trend amongst liberal white people that it is OK for black people to be racist against whites but not the other way around. There is a horrible double standard in this country. There is, clearly, a race problem as well.

Mr. Obama is not a “unifier” and his wife is a disgrace to this great nation.

Comment by jocelyn | 2008-05-16 15:02:20

Greg.

You make an important point. Republican leadership needs to know that it will be held accountable for rolling the dice with something so offensive and anti-American for political advantage. If there ever was a time to take the high ground this is it (then again it is politics…)

First of all the score is still undecided and the game is not over.

Furhtermore, be nice to us Hillary fans as if you win, the McCain folks will be actively asking us for our vote. If you continue abrasive and snotty, tell me why I should give you the time of day?

Comment by Salty | 2008-05-16 18:29:54

This is the point that Obama, the DNC, and Dem Leadership forgot, sure, Obama can be elected without the white women’s vote; however, we Women also can elect McCain and force Obama’s lose. White Women are the largest identity group in the electorate at 41 percent in 2004 and looks like it will be well over 50 something in 08 and no other group comes near. Treating others with respect would be have been nice and the right thing but I’ll take the balance of power and Hello Clinton supporters have it. I hope this story turns out to be false using the term Whitey is ignorant and bigoted; if it’s true then I also would also believe the DNC and Dem Leadership had to have known and that will be very very unfortunate.

Comment by Tom | 2008-05-16 20:40:44

The GOP is wasting its ammo if they release it now. It won’t hurt Obama’s standing among many Democrats and most if not all SD’s who already endorsed him.

The thing is, they don’t care if Obie and his wife are racists and buy into black separatism. they don’t care he’d rather hug thugs and have tea with them, they don’t about his terrorist and criminal associates.

Just look at how the DNC and entire establishment rallied around Barky over Bush’s remarks in Israel. You’d think Bush put a bullet in God given the whine fest from Democrats.

I don’t care if Obie is exposed as gay and his partner is Bill Bennett wearing a dress, it would just elicit yawns from many Demeocrats.

No, they want Obie so bad they are willing to commit sepaku to do it.

It could happen…

Comment by Eurogirl70 | 2008-05-16 17:54:47

Oh now the Obamatrons want us to hold hands and sing Kumbaya. Not going to happen. You guys could have taken the high road in this primary season, and instead you decided to take a page from the Karl Rove playbook and turn Senator Clinton into some closet racist. Don’t you think that after a 75 million dollar investigation into the Clintons, something would have come to light?

As for us all coming together, your guy had over 2 years in the Senate to extend his hand across the aisle. He did not; unless you want to count voting for the Bush-Cheney energy bill as taking one for the team! It was assumed by many that Senator Clinton would be a divisive figure in the Senate. She turned out to be very friendly and conciliatory. She has worked with members of the other party. What about your guy again? You know there is an old saying that actions speak louder than words…

Don’t they pride themselves on their violent tough connections?

Comment by Gary McGowan | 2008-05-16 19:20:01

bamaoil,

if you think the narrow and venomous Islamophobia and resulting slaughter of human beings of the Bush-Cheney neocons is bad, the NEW ERA of subversion, balkanization, and imperialist subdivision of existing nations (promoted on the basis of “multiculturalism” and “dignity through self-determination”) could be a real eye-opener for you.

Really, you should spend less time posting on the internet and more time studying history. I know that may not sound very attractive with the experiences you have probably had in school these days. In that regard, I offer you something more interesting and nourishing. Have a look, and renew your efforts to be part of making history instead of being carried along in turbulent conflicting currents and having your mind and your life controlled by things you don’t understand.

Someday, God willing, you will be as old as I am (probably old enough to be your grandfather), and you will look back at past years and evaluate how you have spent them.

Good luck to you.

Comment by moose-14 | 2008-05-16 21:08:34

You have no clue what I’m speaking of, and your sad attempts to appear the intellectual, troll boi, are transparent.

You suck as a troll, you have about 3 angles, and once challenged, you fail.

Every time you open your mouth you look more and more foolish to me, clearly ignorant, and desperate.

I don’t play into racist screed, which is what you insinuated ie “you can’t fix it, it’s not oils fault, they would kill each other anyway, it’s the liberals fault for expecting peace, and cooperation.”

Bullshit, you’re scared, and out of your league, you failed, and you can’t admit it.

I know African slaughter is funded and driven by the pursuit of oil, something we can shape in terms of how we pursue oil, the policies we create.

There is historical precedence. Money IS power, coupled with brains, you can succeed, win- win.

Let’s try it, rather than shrugging our shoulders, and saying “well, the savages will murder each other, anyway.”

Which is untrue.

If you had any knowledge of history, you would KNOW this, too.

Doug Feith, I think, has a PhD in some historical study.

And he knows shit, Tommy Franks calling him the “dumbest motherfucker in the world.”

This man “helped” Cheney determine strategy in Iraq. So what does it matter if the Phd isn’t able to correctly apply what he has learned, if the phd is not only stupid, speciously learned, but also ideologically blinded?

We both agree Ayers is a kook, what about his acolytes, are they brilliant because they graduated from Harvard, say, even though they spout his Marxist nonsense?

No, they’re arguments are based on logical fallacies, bound to fail, but no one called it.

Same with Cheney’s neocon kooks, and here we are, no end in sight, and how many dead?

So, what is your point, again?

Big oils’s foreign policy is bankrupting the US, weakening national security, corrupting our elections. It is also funding terrorism.

At the very least, republican troll boy, this should concern you.

And you want history, how about Israel? Given the statements of Farrakhan, the African and Middle East conglomerate with ALL that oil money, the willingness of the African dictators to commit genocide with Chinese arms, et al, I can see the Jews threatened again, if this is not confronted, intelligently.

Big oil corrupts our elections, you think they give a shit about Israel?

The US traditionally stood as the defender, what happens when it fails, too, in the hands of an oil boi/ terrorist sympathizer like Obama, and a Congress full of…pelosis?

The unthinkable, slowly dismantling the system.

Didn’t the whole oil tradition of “TRAITORS R US” start with the Prescott Bushs, who almost had his company taken away for dealing with Hitler?

Do you see it?

And no matter how you try to paint it, oil is in trouble. Just because it’s easier to pretend nothing is wrong doesn’t mean the truth goes away. Funding all those dictators gets expensive, and the wars the US is legally involved with are breaking this nation, it simply cannot be ignored.

Where does this fit into your lil scenario, you snapping turtle you?

Bad day?

So a solution has to emerge, if the republicans are too stupid to see it, so be it.

But don’t waste my time, after seven years of Bush, after observing this troll behavior for even longer, with this garbage, I’ve concluded you people only know shit.

I have no respect for you, at all.

And I would look to Clinton, and men like Clark and Wilson, Albright before I would give a fart toward Cheney, and guys like Feith.

awareness means knowing, intuitively, when a premise is flawed.

Funny, all those White House HArvard degrees, and not one of the tools understands the problem.

Maybe the problem is them, they’re not smart enough. And you’re angry I don’t agree with your ideology.

Tough.

Just bring some BO positions and take a sandwich to lunch. Not ONCE has any BO supporter posted ANY position’s of BO’s that was in anyway close to the facts, that I have seen posted here. Please exclude the “for good of the party” meme, or calling any one a looser, as that won’t help you advance your case and makes you sound like Hanoi Jane.

Go right ahead. Maybe at this late date the kool-aid will wear off. But I think that maybe a tall order for you.

Dr. Dean, I am a registered independent voter who normally votes the democratic ticket.

If you do not re-instate the Michigan and Florida delegates as reflected in the their respective states’ certified vote counts , along with seating them at the democratic convention , with ALL the delegate votes being counted, I will vote for MCain.

Respectfully, If these two states with 2.3 million voters are shown the door for early primary dates; then what of the other states that were not stripped of their votes for doing the same?

You are to have me believe that 2.3 million voters are to be cast aside? This will seal the DNC’s and Democratic Party’s fate, losing in November. I will activly work towards that goal of seeing the Democratic Party loose big. From the top to the bottom of the ticket.

When you consider this, remember, I am not speaking on any one candidate’s behalf. I am speaking as a citizen who believes “votes matter” more than the empty words. Your lack of common sense and understanding of the real damage you personally are responsible for is staggering. I will be watching you on the 31st of May and in Denver. About the republicans the DNC suddenly today wrote

There are factions among those who would like to destroy the United States of America (as there are factions among it’s defenders).

At least one faction is working very hard to hold off Senator Obama’s inevitable collapse as a viable candidate until after Senator Clinton is pushed out of contention for the presidency.

“The beef” comes with personal discoveries made (or re-made/re-discovered) within each sovereign human mind.

“The beef” is found only by constant reevaluation of ones thoughts and beliefs.

Barack Obama’s staunch support for his cousin Raila Odinga’s bid for the Kenyan Presidency has long been forgotten by the American mainstream media. The ethnic cleansing that followed, however, is well-documented and quite disturbing. Obama’s involvement in the Odinga campaign has been ignored long enough.

Comment by Catriley | 2008-05-16 17:55:01

And let’s not forget Dick Morris’ role in all of that, as a “pro-bono” political consultant to Odinga for one month (on a tourist visa, no less!) His story is that he “met” Odinga at a party thrown by “a mutual friend in Chicago” and was so moved “impressed” by Odinga that he volunteered to travel to Kenya on his own dime and provide divisive and dangerous campaign advice (ala Alinsky method) to Odinga, which resulted in the ensuing violence.

Yeah.. Don’t we ALL believe that Dick Morris would give ANYTHING away? And that “mutual friend” (read Obama.) Morris made the mistake of using that inciteful and dangerous style of politicking that Obama’s campaign has been using, but you cannot use that without an understanding of the other culture. While the cowardly little pissants for Obama might whine that they’re gonna tear up Denver, it’s an entirely different scene in the culture of Kenya where people are murdered with machetes and killed on a large scale.

I would LOVE for more MSM coverage of Dick Morris and his Kenyan “vacation”, and whether any FEC rules were broken by funding Morris surreptitously through Obama’s campaign to fund his month long working trip. There’s some dirt there waiting to be dug.

The reason there’s no more on this story is because it’s a spurious invention. Why on Earth would the Republicans find one snippet of tape when the entire media has been poring over anything at all to do with this Church since March? Add to that the fact that this story doesn’t even make the slightest bit of sense. Just put aside your hatred for Obama and his wife for a second… why would she say that and those words. Why would Hillary not splash it out now that she needs something Earth shattering. Why would republicans risk waiting till the fall when they have no idea how easy this will be to debunk. All, I SMELL A GREAT FAT STINKING RAT. It’s crap.

Comment by Mercedes | 2008-05-16 16:40:03

Perhaps the media knows about this tape. Releasing it would not only damage their wonder boy but would also make them look like the fools they are.

As for Michelle making inflammatory comments…we don’t know when this was supposed to have occurred…perhaps it was in the dark past before her feelings about America changed. I guess her thesis is so potentially damaging that the university (whichever Ivy League one she went to) is sitting on it until the day after the election.

And as for Hillary, if you think she is a decent person, she may not want to incite the racial tensions such a revelation would create. Or if you think she is a calculating politician, why antagonize her opponents in this way unless it is absolutely necessary and the consequences of not doing so are as dire as they clearly seem to be.

Comment by TeakWoodKite | 2008-05-16 18:03:29

thesis is so potentially damaging

I have a copy Mercedes you want it?

Personally I wonder how she would have graduated with it, but I can tell you it was basically a statistical survey about the racial divide, white acceptance of black people and how much “guilt a white person can absorb, with a poorly constructed “hypothisis”. I wish there is a story. Because there are plenty out there about Bill Clinton and his shenangans and lets not forget CINDY MCCAIN. Yup. Lets do this. HRC had a 150 million dollars when she started, name, fame, 100 SD’s and every advantage that she could muster. But, this black guy came from nowhere and eviscerated her. she HAS LOST. the ONLY WAY TO WIN IS BY DEFAULT. find a tape of Obama or his wife and run it so it benefits her. If we are going to use guilt-by-asso., lets look at the cast of characters in CLINTON”S inner circle. They pale in comparison to Jeremiah wright. So, lets bring this one out and release it, so everyon’e dirty laundry can be released too. Now you know why O is winning. we don’t want this brand of politics. That is why he has a 1.5 million dollar donor base and she is 25 million dollars in debt. she LOST.

My God. You Obamabots are hysterical! Why are you sending out 400 trolls to pro-Clinton websites? Why are you freaking out if you’ve already won? Why are you worried about Michelle Obama railing against “whitey” when we all know Michelle Obama loves white people?! Loves them!

Why did you lose West Virginia by 41 points?

Why do you have to cheat 2 states out of their votes being counted just so you can pull almost even?

Why are the numbers so different in states that held both caucuses and primaries?

Why do you think any of us would buy your bullshit that Obama has one chance in hell of winning in November?

I’m just another sweetie looking for an answer. :(

And Barack’s buddy on the verge of Federal time lost FIFTY FIVE MILLION dollars and declares bankruptcy, despite loaning Barack money to but the vacant lot and adjoining house from he and his wife.

Talk about fuzzy math. The same moth Obama was claiming fifty mill in campaign donations his partner in kickbacks loses that much?

Who could have imagined?

If the Repulicans couldn’t get Bill on anything but a blow job then, what else could they have dug up? Seriously, we older folk lived through it, saw it for what it was, and so did the voters. 65% approval rating for both President Bill and Sen. Hillary, ring a bell? This is a very old argument that doesn’t hold water. I ate the little Obamabot’s lunch at the caucus who used it.

No, Dan, it’s not true, even though you skewed everything from the press, to the elections, truth still matters, no matter what.

Imagine skewing an election in this manner, and then trying to use the same “logic” and criteria to run a war.

You get Iraq, and the empire of big oil, both failing.

Someone has to keep it real, just to save you from yourself.

Comment by Dan Harkoff | 2008-05-16 15:49:30

Don’t even suggest that Hillary is more honest or trustworthy than Obama. Don’t insist that Hillary has taken the moral high ground.

Tell us more about dodging sniper fire in Bosnia. Tell us more rumors about something that might hurt Obama in November, but don’t give any specifics.

Promise not to campaign in Michigan and Florida and then break your promise.

Wait until AFTER those “primaries” (misnomer), check to see if you like the results, and then whine and complain that they should count.

Obama appeals to people in part because he doesn’t stoop to this level. These antics are appalling.

Right. So you think Obama has integrity, because he went to Rev. Wright’s church for TWENTY YEARS and then “suddenly” clued in that the guy was a radical, anti-American hater just when Rev. Wright was hurting Obama’s chances in an election?

Right. Some “integrity” that Obama has.

I never for an instant believe that Hillary is a saint. She’s a politician. But unlike Obama (and his supporters), Hillary does not paint herself as above politics or make herself out to be the second coming.

Obama sets himself up for a fall by trying to pretend he’s above all this when he clearly is not. Rev. Wright was clearly a sign that Obama panders and lies when convenient for him.

Senator Clinton did not campaign in Florida. Senator Obama ran ads here. Apparently it was a “national” buy and he could not exclude Florida.

The man went to Harvard and he couldn’t figure out how to not run ads in Florida? And once it was brought to his attention why did they still run?

Also – as a Floridian our votes count. Period. They have been certified by our state. Howard Dean may say no to our delegates but he cannot negate the popular vote. Which Senator Clinton won handily.

Let’s not forget that Obama is a man with no nation, no culture, and no identity. He has flirted with his muslim background, his white background, his black “christian” background, but he still hasn’t developed a coherent sense of self. This is why he promiscously panders to any and all groups. This is the unfortunate result of coming from a broken home. Maybe, if he gets elected, he will finally come to terms with who he is and gain a cohesive sense of self. Let us hope it doesn’t happen when he’s kneeling on the oval office floor and facing Mecca.

I guess I have a question – these “tapes” aren’t really secret, are they? Unless an urban church filled with African Americans all of the sudden went blind and didn’t notice a bunch of white men in slacks, blazers and crew cuts walk around with videocams, I assume that these tapes are available to other people as well. If that is the case, I would believe that those tapes have been pored over by a multitude of people, especially the Rev. Wright “scandal.” So, let me get this straight – this is a leaked hint of an Oct. surprise in May, with the promise of showing it in October. Umm, that doesn’t make much sense. However, if they dont actually have a tape, then it does make sense. Also, it seems that our crack ex-CIA analyst is being played again. Say, whatever did happen to that Kenya story Larry was trying to peddle?

If so, it seems like we should be able to access it somehow.
What do we have to do to get it from the Repubs?
Do we have to take them to dinner?

Hillary is more honest or trustworthy than that fraud and loser named Obama. Hillary has taken consistently being classy, brillantly smart and has the moral high ground; unlike Obama who is weak, uses race biting like a crutch and has had a lifetime of the utmost disgraceful intimate relationship with Jeremiah Wright ( Obama’s “uncle” and “moral compass”)

Barack Obama is unelectable.

Barack Obama and Axelrod consistenly and continuously stoop to the lowest level of antics, lies and fraud; only equal to G.W. Bush and Rove.

Hey Larry and Susan,
I know this issue has been brought up before…
But can’t we throw the trolls off this site. I have now seen a blogger post on another pro-Hillary site that they find the trolls here completely destroy the conversation.
I know you are committed to free speech. But in constitutional law free speech is not an absolute right. “Fighting words”, yelling “fire” in a building, child pornography, insider trading, speech encouraging “imminent and lawless behavior”– these are some of the restrictions on the right to free speech. One of your reasons for allowing the trolls must be the belief that through a type of “moral-suasion” they can be brought to see our viewpoint in an objective manner. I don’t believe that has happened in any troll case. I also know that some people seem to enjoy beating the hell out of them.
But for all that, it defeats the greater purpose which is the dissemination of important information and the sharing of ideas. I hope you will revisit your decision to allow these idiots (who now seem to be paid employees of a opposing political candidate)
to roam here.

Your decision, of course. And thanks for all the amazing work you do, regardless.

Comment by moose-14 | 2008-05-16 16:39:35

My pov is there really isn’t much a troll problem, other than the obvious.

If that person chooses to spread rumors, or tries to discredit the site he is again engaging in a negative, and whatever.

You see?

Why worry about a load of crap, from someone who doesn’t understand how he’ s being gamed.

Concern, or not?

Gosh, it feels sometimes as if you’re dealing with a really dysfunctional family member, desperate for attention, who just cant seem to get noticed.

Why would anyone care, if the people spreading rumors are untalented?

See, narcissists can’t grasp why their methods are ineffective.

has anyone noticed that Taylor Marsh sometimes tries to be a little too “in-control” of her posters? if you go to her site rigth now she has comments paused. she told one person a while back that they would be banned if they keep typing in all caps. have no idea what sent her over the edge this time. folks, we need to get a list of other nobama and ABO sites available so that the tm people can try other safe harbors. there’s no quarter, savagepolitics, but there must be more as well. Taylor’s already telling her people that voting for the “UNKNOWN” of Obama is better than voting for McCain. I think that viewpoint is ludicrous.

Comment by moose-14 | 2008-05-16 16:44:15

I wonder, how does a guy like Karl Rove, who tries to game like an old embittered queen, deal with men, who just laugh this garbage off, as do most women?

Yes, but the format doesn’t work for me, really.

Comment by ChrisXP | 2008-05-16 17:19:10

Taylor’s already telling her people that voting for the “UNKNOWN” of Obama is better than voting for McCain.

Taylor Marsh’s and TalkLeft sites are partisan and more interested in “unity”, and Dem special interests (TalkLeft is really about criminal “rights”). They’ll be turning the channel, when May 20th comes.

Hopely, Noquarter will hang in there all the way to November. One site has to keep the public informed of this election treason — and focused on it, not 100001 other issues that stray from the points.

Comment by Catriley | 2008-05-16 18:08:35

I like TM, and started there before I came to NQ. But I don’t like the interface much — you can’t really respond to anyone in real time, and sadly it’s gotten too clicquish for me. I still go there maybe once a day, but I don’t really post much anymore. I like to be able to respond in real time, and feel like I’m connecting with people here… instead of feeling like I’m invisible.

Oh.. and people there freak out if you swear. I can’t possibly talk about politics without swearing. It’s the law! ;)

Taylor Marsh means well, and I liker her.. but I don’t dig the comments section much, and the admonishments to move to a new thread, etc.

Comment by ChrisXP | 2008-05-16 18:24:27

People are organic. The less structure, the more they speak. For blogs and forums it’s an asset. ;)

Problems come when in the effort to “tidy” up things for archiving, changing formats and such, the admin/mods get too curt about it. It rubs posters the wrong way, and posting volume takes a hit — if it doesn’t scare posters away.

A light touch works the best. Even better when there’s little moderation but to remove spam, ad bots and obvious disruptions (like a troll cascade).

Partisan sites can’t operate with a light touch though, as they must dictate content and the reaction to it, as they’re selling agendas. They steer to a goal.

Noquarter is more open, and the format works here (knock, knock) as folks post more content, than just copy and paste treatises and 2 liner screeds (high signal to noise ratio). Plus, Hillary supporters need a place to vent without the controls — we often come from other sites that the admin/mods are Hitlers about Obama.

Winning format, and the content shows it — it’s mostly original, something that blogs/forums crave.

Comment by AnninCA | 2008-05-16 20:32:55

I agree, Chris. It’s been frustrating to be on sites where the topic is the first amendment but then it’s not practiced.

LOL*

That sort of wigs me out.

I also agree with you about moderation. It first starts to “feel” constrictive. Then you start to “feel” moderated. Then you find out….you were right.

I am all for blog owners getting to control their own blogs. Their effort. Their deal. And their choices.

And also I do not think that these will be the blogs that attract the masses.

And obviously, there is a huge, huge market there.

I think this is a growing phenomena.

But it’s not going to grow around moderation policies.

It will grow around quality of the site.

Comment by jcb | 2008-05-16 16:56:43

I don’t think she said that. She said that she is Hillary all the way. And that if Obama wins the nomination she cannot just turn around and start supporting him, so instead she will focus on fighting McCain.

Comment by ChrisXP | 2008-05-16 17:31:44

Yes, days ago even. Futhermore, TalkLeft has always been about “unity” (couldn’t even call Obama OBABA there without the blog owner making an issue of it, giving me a lecture even of it being inappropriate [code word for: racist] -- while McInsane being called that was okay. Left after the double standards, and came here [I'm an equal opportunity basher]).

Appreciate Larry's blog. 24/7 Hillary coverage, with like minded. An oasis in a sea of Obamania, and tolerant of those who aren't Dem party liners. Hope more independents find it online -- as I had to get the site link from a post (more marketing, Larry). :/

Comment by ChrisXP | 2008-05-16 17:48:14

Overburdened, and probably revamping the webcode.

Time for a load balancer (cheap ones exist, Larry)! Biggest drain on blogs/forums are two things: Apache (it eats memory); and Mysql (the free version performance sucks).

On the cheap, go with lighttp. There’s also a free Russian webserver client, that’s even better (name escapes me at the moment) — can carry thousands of active connections, with a extremely low memory footprint. Great for being on a no Cloverleaf budget, and to deal with the “Slashdot” effect.

Ack, talking web stuff again. :/

Obama has BIG money behind him and BIG corporate string-pullers. People who don’t want Hillary Clinton to be President no matter what. The Clintons are not controlled by “them”, so they must be destroyed.

Obama is just a slogan, a logo, a marketing campaign. He has NO, count ‘em , ZERO, accomplishments in his very young career in the US Senate. Yet we are supposed to think he will save us all? Just on his word?

Sorry, this mountain girl ain’t buying the hype for one minute.

I at first wondered at the suggestion that the Obama campaign had hired a bunch of idiot-keybord-dorks to fan out across the web to tout/bully/complain/whine/screech the “Obama message” but, judging from the recent activity here, it’s apparent that I was sorely mistaken.

All I can say is, if Axlerod is vetting the rest of the campaign staff the way these fucking nitwits have been vetted, the “Movement” is about due for a massive flush.

And that’s with, or without, the addition of this GOP Trinity tape.

Comment by moose-14 | 2008-05-16 16:51:22

A real MSM would have reported this, too, in an effort to keep the elections equal, so the public can stay informed as to the quality of candidate they were voting for.

An informed public works against the Roves, and the Barry’s, but actually, anything does, as neither is fit to govern.

Comment by Muppet | 2008-05-16 16:40:09

No – Larry’s source is his own mind. Can’t you see he’s playing you? You just want to believe this stuff so bad that no-one stops to think “Could this even remotely be true?”. I cannot imagine Michelle saying this stuff, let alone going off on one with cameras recording – she’s a politicians wife, for heavens’ sakes: she’ll have been trained from the off always to vet what she says. All these tidbits coming out like “One of the sources was an Obama supporter” are just little nuggets to get those who want to believe it more fervently inspired. It’s exactly what cult leaders do when they set up a new religion. Larry said that if he were a GOP strategist he’d wait till october to release this. Really? If these tapes exist, which they don’t, then someone else will steal all the GOPs thunder and it would be worthless.

A very dumb one at that, too. Her Harvard days will come back to haunt her. But that’s the price to pay for wanting power and influence — it isn’t peachy.

But I was never an Obama hater. And as the matter of fact I didn’t know NoQ (TL etc) existed until I got fed up with Huff and started looking for a blog better suited for me. I used to get all the political news from the Huff (although didn’t post there.) But things got ugly and I stopped.

Comment by AnninCA | 2008-05-16 18:06:20

Yes, but I bet you thought it was great when a national talk host talked about beating Hillary up to get her out of the race, right?

You see, when things like Dean going on TV to insist that the SD’s MUST come out and stop the election happen a week before PA, when Hillary was doing well?

Well, it didn’t escape anyone’s notice that the fix was in.

And THAT means Obama’s bid is not legitimate.

We DON’T support behind-the-scenes takeovers by DNC thugs.

So Operation TURN DOWN is now in full swing. He’s not going to be president.

If there is a tape that is going to be released, then Michelle will regret her attitudes and public comments, won’t she? It will reinforce her comments on the campaign trail. It will reinforce the Wright connection. It will also show that Obama is lying when he acts as though he didn’t know Wright was quite so “bad.”

So make no mistake. The comments are expressing true outrage.

And by the way, even though he’s acting like he’s got it sewn up, Hillary’s poll numbers in KY haven’t dropped a bit, she’s rising in Oregon, and he’s dropping like a rock in even the states he’s already won. (See Kansas.)

I think you better huddle with other Obama supporters and mull over the facts.

You can trot out endorsements all day long….

but VOTERS VOTE.

So peddle your faux outrage somewhere else. The trolls becoming indignant at other trolls (who are pretending to be Hillary trolls) is a worn-out tactic, and we’re all on to it.

Enough awareness to know, given Obama’s behavior, damaging evidence exists.

CNN’s Woof Blitzer just told me that it’s not kool if the GOP attacks Michelle Obama.
It was OK if they attacked Hillary Clinton, and punched the living sh* out of her for the last 16 years because Bill Clinton ran for President, but Michelle Obama is off limits.
Don’t we all wish we had the special privileges that the Obamas have?

Comment by cc | 2008-05-16 17:11:30

wolf is an absolute jerk! just like you said, we have every right and responsibility to go after Michelle because 1) she is a blatant racist just like Jeremiah Wright and 2) because of the vicious attacks heaped on Hillary since she first came into the limelight years and years ago. What’s fair for Hillary is fair for Michlle. wolf can f…off!

Comment by Mercedes | 2008-05-16 17:14:06

It’s almost unbelievable that Blitzer would say something so hypocritical.

I think the Obamas get a pass because they have been anointed by the power brokers. The Clintons, and especially Hillary, apparently, have as you say had the living sh* punched out of them because they have defied the power brokers and still are defying them.

I just wish I knew just exactly who these Olympians are so I could give them a piece of my mind and maybe join in a nice peaceful but overpowering demonstration.

I beleive that some lower level functionary has to watch to hours upon hours and hours of video tapes before he found Michelle running her mouth. I guess people at that church are not camera shy.

Some organizations tape every last thing and later people regret what they said and did. The Obama’s are not seasoned enough to be careful.

Maybe Michelle spoke out of emotion, but she’s still accountable.

PS – Obama will, he will, compare his acceptance of Michelle’s craszy tale to Hillary accepting Bill’s blowjob. Bet the rent on it. I am not kidding.

Comment by moose-14 | 2008-05-16 17:02:16

Yeah, the same in evangelical churches, EVERYTHING is taped, I never understood why…

Comment by Arabella Trefoil | 2008-05-16 17:13:00

Exactly. I’ve had to sit through a couple of hours of this stuff at a neighbor’s house once. At her church, everyone gets a turn testifying and singing (badly) with a mike held in their mouth. And the preacher went on and on.

Plus, her church sold tapes of everything. I guess is partly a social thing. I am not at all surprised that Wright’s church has more uneditted tape than Mark Burnett.

Comment by Phillybits | 2008-05-16 16:55:04

Someone has to be the devil’s advocate here.

So – up to now, nobody has seen this video except those here who claim they have. But we only have their word and as far as I know, unless I see it, it’s rumours and speculation for now. It’s not on any blogs, we can’t all watch it to make our own opinions.

It is effectively the equivalent of the Iraqi WMD’s that the Bush administration claimed were everywhere and that’s why we had to go to Iraq and yet now that we did, they’re nowhere to be found.

So I find it so ironic and surprising that so many here have already made up their minds that A) this video is real and B) Michelle Obama is this huge racist.

Sheesh. Does anybody have any sense of patience, logic, or control of their emotions anymore or do we all just ask “How high” when someone says jump?

Comment by jcb | 2008-05-16 17:08:37

I can only speak for myself. I do not believe that it is necessarily true. Nor was it reported that way. No one is trying to hide the ball here. It is a rumor that Larry heard from different people.

On your second point, I don’t need any tape to believe BO and MO are racist (or otherwise seriously lacking judgment) they took their children to a church where the paster recently reaffirmed his racist believes (blacks and whites have different brains.

I’m curious what the Obamanots are going to say if their man suffers a double loss on Tuesday. I just got off the phone with some friends who are insiders with the Oregon Dem Party… they tell me the early voting there is very close and that even some of the papers are thinking this is going to be close… just a few days to a week ago Obama was winning by large numbers. We all know KY is a loss for him, so I’m wondering what this might do for his big “race is over” announcement. I think most mainstream people would think he’s entirely lost it if he makes such a public claim… LOL Frankly I think most are already saying that he’s lost his mind if he thinks the race is over on Tuesday!

It does remind me though of the N. Carolina scenario…

The O’Babies (who more than likely aren’t early voters) may spike the tally.

Even though they have vote-by-mail, I tend to believe the over 40 crowd are more likely to send those ballots in first!

I read a good chunk of Michelle Obama’s Princeton thesis. It is an unremarkable, poorly done effort.
When one stops to consider, however, that this thesis was completed at the end of Michelle Obama’s time at Princeton, both its quality and content leave one wondering about her abilities. She devotes her whole thesis to changes in the self esteem of Blacks who attended Princeton, and how contact with lots of non-Blacks affected their feelings towards Blacks.
The quality of Michelle Obama’s writing in this thesis, if it is representative of her scholastic ability in general, would lead one to conclude that she was a most unremarkable student, and probably felt rather insignificant. The content of this thesis would also lead one to conclude that what most concerned the young Michelle was how being around White people made her feel about herself, and that she felt worse about herself. It even seems probable that she blamed White people for hurting her self esteem, rather than blaming her own weak academic performance for not giving her more to be proud about.
When Michelle Obama discovered the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, it must have seemed like a godsend to her, and his screeds claiming that Rich White People were responsible for all the problems of Blacks, must have resonated in her. It’s not so very difficult to believe that Michelle Obama would have raised her voice in the Jeremiah Wright chorus, and spoken out at a videotaped event, railing against the evil Whitey.
This is the same woman who gave the “this is the first time in my adult life that I am proud to be an American” speech to two different audiences. This is the same well paid corporate lawyer and board member who lectured young Black women not to go into corporate America. This is the same woman whose father, courtesy of the Chicago political favours network, earned $45K a year (or more than a teacher) while she was growing up. Michelle Obama went to good schools and her family could afford for her mom to be a stay at home mother. Yet Michelle Obama complained about the poverty and hardship of her childhood on network television. Who whined that she and Barack had done all the right things to get the Presidential Nomination, from fundraising to giving speeches, but that the nomination was still not in their grasp, only because “THEY” kept “raising the bar”. Michelle Obama acts as though she and Barack were the first people to ever fundraise and give speeches who were not automatically awarded their party’s nomination. Michelle Obama’s ego and sense of entitlement can leave one gasping.
As to the Whitey video, I guess we’ll know soon enough whether it exists or not, but it sure doesn’t seem outside the realm of possibility.

Comment by workingclass artist | 2008-05-16 17:14:10

I read Meeeeeechelle’s thesis as well….I totally agree with you…
It is as poorl written as Obamas’ books….and just as whiney….
Mediochre Minds think alike….sheesh.

Comment by Arabella Trefoil | 2008-05-16 17:21:20

I agree 100%. I took the time to read her thesis. It is a disgraceful production. Even if you ignore the content, the grammar is poor. It’s unreadable in parts.

The Obamas have benefited greatly from affirmative action. Michelle is especially bitter toward white people. Wright and his black separatism were exactly what she was looking for.

Comment by moose-14 | 2008-05-16 18:28:59

Affirmative action has done much to equal the playing field in this country, making it stronger.

We shouldn’t generalize, and say it’s results are typical of Barry and MO.

The greatest beneficiaries of affirmative action have also been women, title 9, and college admits.

Comment by mimi | 2008-05-16 17:54:34

Then she should have gone to a black college. Why does she live in a suburban mansion? Why not stay in a black community? That’s just pure and utter bullshit. If being around white people gave her self-esteem issues, then she had those issues from the git-go. Geez, she went to school in what? The early 80’s????? Princeton as in NJ? I know a number of black people who graduated from Ivy League Universities and not one of them carried on like white people gave them poor self-esteem. If anything they were like, yes there are always racist assholes, so fuck-em.

Comment by AnninCA | 2008-05-16 19:54:27

Nah*……this was the age of African American studies growing like mad. Today in my area, it’s Chicano Studies…big growth.

And, not to defend her? I assume you guys are right about the quality.

But have you gone back and looked at your own thesis or papers?

Nobody should have to expose that to the world, even to be the first lady. (Just my opinion.)

The MSM is trying to prevent this story from coming out.

I have posted the following over at Jake Tapper’s site, political punch, and every time, it is deleted.

Jake Tapper,

I am hearing that there is a video (with audio) of Michelle Obama railing against white people from the pulpit at Trinity that is about to be released for the world to see. Also hearing that there is equally damaging footage (with audio) of Barack Obama that is about to be released.

http://noquarterusa.net/blog/2008/05/16/will-barack-throw-mama-from-the-train/

What have you heard about this, Jake?

This story has legs and is gaining traction by the minute! Looking forward to watching Obama and his campaign try to spin the video proof of Michelle Obama’s racist views.

Comment by Phillybits | 2008-05-16 17:17:33

The MSM is preventing this from coming out?

What do you expect Jake Tapper to do? Have you seen the video? If you haven’t, there’s good reason to believe that neither has Jake Tapper.

So where you get the idea this story has legs is beyond my level of logic considering that this “story” started here and at this point, remains an unsubstantiated rumour based on anonymous sources with no direct evidence (the video) to back it up. The only “legs” you speak of that this story has is the flurry of bloggers eager to see such a video cross-posting this unsubstantiated rumour on their own websites, all linking back here, and creating a buzz around – wait for it….

…an unsubstantiated rumour.

And yet you are simultaenously gleeful and angry and smell a media conspiracy to cover this up?

Whatever you’re smoking, I’d like some please.

This is bunk. There are 3 and only 3 possibilities here:

1. There is such a tape, in which case Hillary’s oppo research team, including our friend Larry here, are a bunch of utter incompetents. Do you really believe that Hillary’s team, having learned of the existence of such a tape wouldn’t have turned over the entire Earth to find it?

2. Larry is not lying, and the Repugs are floating this around, in which case Larry is being used to perpetrate a GOP psyop on the American people.

3. Larry is lying, and HE is perpetrating a GOP psyop on the American people, possibly to ensure an Obama loss in November, opening the door to a Hillary re-do in 2012.

All of which makes Larry either an incompetent, a fool or a liar. None of which makes me want to believe him…

Comment by beebop | 2008-05-16 17:05:58

And, yet, you are here

You believe that Michelle Obama — never proud of her country until her husband ran for the presidency and began to win — is capable of saying something profoundly an irrevocably ugly that will make America cringe. That is the biggest telling point. Everyone here believes that it is possible.

I don’t think ‘the chosen one’ would ever go for Hillary as VP, and I don’t think it fixes the problems Obama has in Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania. On the other hand, he would make a great VP candidate and could bring in Iowa, Wisconsin and Montana, but thats all he really offers to the map. I don’t see how he wins with MI, OH and PA in play, even if Hillary is VP… and it looks like he will have to spend a lot of time in California (OMFG??? how are we losing this this year???)

As VP, Obama makes it so that McCain has to spend time and resources campaigning in the deep south, but not the other way around…

I don’t here any of the bias liberal media giving the great Messiah a hard time about his ad. I can never vote for anyone that has turned hald of my party into a pack of hypocrites.

And Africa, the genocide in Africa, why hasn’t that been mentioned?

How many dead?

It doesn’t matter, because they’re poor, and black?

You have to be kidding me, and Barry having so much family in the region feels unconnected, or doesn’t see it as a responsibility of the US to help resolve the issues, issues which are fueling terrorism, connected even to the middle east?

And this man HIRED Samantha Power?

Why?

Oil is stake, and the situation will just work itself out, right?

One would almost say it’s indicative of real racism, to know, and not do anything, or know, and stay silent.

Ask a Hitler-era Jew.

Exactly why Barry Queen of Snots will never be POTUS….
There is goin to be EMPIRICAL WOMP ASS IN THE MIDDLE EAST….Cause nobody wants $ 6.00/ loaf of bread….This shit is gettin old and hurtin the bottom line….OPEC is in trouble…This is bigger than Republican vs. Democrat….This is business….

It seems like such a relatively small transgression to me in light of disenfranchising voters in two states and saying its “rules,” that to be honest, I can’t even think about it. The Democratic party is a joke. I keep waiting for the punch line …. don’t you?

His fliers all year have been downright dumbed-down to the max, whether on NAFTA, healthcare, or now this religious one.

Nobody cared who supported him.

I’ll never understand the low standards for him.

I have to say even if this is not true the fact is… it is believable..It is so in context and completely plausible another sign that barry is not coming clean on who he really is…Did anyone see his body posture and his look while 400dollareddy was endorsing him…how very very Benito…great 30’s fascist cult of personality. Once again we see the supporters of obama desperately trying to escape their freedom…(Fromm and all)

I saw someone recently with a sight that chilled me to the bone. It was a cellphone with Obama wallpaper on it. He had black and white rays of sunlight behind a posterized picture of him. It was very retro, in a communist Mao Tse Tung propaganda kind of way. And with that, I was 100% done with him. That is just SCARY.

Well, Sec of the Treasury is good enough.

So if true what’s the rationale going to be and I have no doubt that the DNC would be aware recall Obama’s delay before his denial that he wasn’t in church when Wright spewed his hate they would have had to scan the tapes. Is this why the SD’s drum role has ended? And how do we hold these folks responsible for this fraud? It could not possibly be that the term Whitey like nutcracker is ok with them is it. Can’t we get a hold of this tape the back lash will be massive.

“It is their October surprise.”

Sigh, so many surprises, so little time.

Closing arguments started 12 May on Rezko. A killer verdict and a Draconian sentence might shake something loose ala Sarica.

Odd, Rezko didn’t call a single witness. Is this boyo slated to be under the care and feeding of Soros while in the joint, a Syrian/Hungarian take on omerta?

Fitzgerald is still poking around in Illinois but is quiet as a wee churchmouse about it. Will yer lad find his voice come September?

I haven’t read the many comments in all the threads so this might have been mentioned today in detail…

The DNC sent me a fundraising request and had the gall to include this line in reference to republicans: “They’re gearing up for a Swift Boat offensive on our nominee”

I wrote back stating “you have no nominee and it will not be swift boating it will be the truth” and followed with a ranting two page letter that nobody will bother to read but I had to get it out.

They are aware there is going to be an attack on bambi and it is going to be brutal. They are in full panic mode of that you can rest assured.

Well they can’t say we haven’t warned them for the last year due to our own research and vetting process of the man who they wanted to make king.

They deserve it, they are fools and have behaved like cads and crooks.

Toooo bad, we told you so.

also at 7pm Hillary will be joining in a phone call with all her phone bankers to rev us up for KY and Oregon.

The stupidity of the leftist establishment in their support of Obama is absolutely astonishing. NARAL has just destroyed their organization over their Obama endorsement, and they still won’t apologize after 3000+ members swamped their blog in protest. I left Move On long ago when they endorsed Obama after a sneak 24-hour “vote” that I was not alerted to. I’m wondering if I need to switch to the Libertarian party, except I don’t like their environmental stance.

When will these people wake up?

They just said Hillary used the Activate system today and called voters herself on it.

They are talking about pundits saying the race is over when it isn’t. They are talking about the thousand voters who came out in oregon and how hillary dropped into the Salem office.

She is coming on the phone now.

She’s thanking all. She used the phone and got to see the enthusiasm of the volunteers. 2 million phone calls made on her behalf. Tx OH PA IN WV strong supporters. She’s not exhausted or tired out yet. She’s encouraging us to keep calling.

She’s overwhelmed and grateful. 17 million voters – 15,000 more than ob. She believes she will be the best president and the strongest against mccain in the fall.

Final thanks. she is hoarse but very positive.

We’re gonna do this, we’re gonna win this, bye bye!

They actually said that in an e-mail?

Good grief.

Where has all the decorum gone in this party? I still can’t believe Brazile wrote a rude e-mail back to a Hillary supporter, calling her supporters vicious and vile. (Although I’m sure some are. :) )

Comment by karen for Clinton | 2008-05-16 18:21:41

below is the first part of the email from DNC which includes the hideous quote:

karen,

Last week, we told you how John McCain raised over $9 million for his campaign and the Republican National Committee in 48 hours.

Yesterday, he was in Washington, D.C., attending back-to-back receptions for his top donors. The night ended with a “Spring Gala” dinner for those willing to pay thousands of dollars to wine and dine with John McCain and his top campaign staff.

The RNC has boasted it plans to raise at least $120 million to support John McCain. That’s why Republican operatives are working around the clock to bank as much money as they can, while they can. They’re gearing up for a Swift Boat offensive on our nominee.

Make a contribution now — and help match what the Republicans are raising:

then the had the email repeated from last week begging for money.

my comments were harsh. They could mean Clinton or Obama but to me – from them it means obambi.

Valerie,

Isn’t it funny that this unites us. Before this primary I had NEVER visited a right wing blog or seen FOX news but shockingly they are MORE fair and balanced than ABC, CNN,MSNBC, etc.

I think moderates from both parties are coming together over our fervent dislike of Obama’s candidacy and the grossly unfair media treatment Hillary has endured.
Her fighting spirit has won over several Republicans I know who really can’t stand McCain. One friend told me, I don’t like Hillary but I respect her, I respect McCain’aservice but that’s it.” I think lots of Republicans and Independents feel the same way. She was BORN to do this, she will make a fantastic President.

Comment by AnninCA | 2008-05-16 18:18:52

Fox is fair only for the primaries. They out-foxed the rest of them by playing fair to her and grabbed off her supporters market share.

I wonder how long it will take to see the drop in viewership numbers that MSN must be experiencing. :)

Comment by Hillary or Bust | 2008-05-16 18:21:43

I’m watching Fox News right now (HORROR!) for the first time in…like…ever. I am surprised that they are actually reporting the NEWS. CNN lately has just been the same pundits over and over again, Donna Brazile and the others, rehashing the same ole same old.

I think the other thing I’ve learned from this is that I’m much more moderate than I thought. When I see how dismissive Obama and followers are towards the average American, I realize that I’m not interested in a truly “liberal” candidate, if being “liberal” means being unreasonable and unwilling to think critically or take into account other viewpoints.

Comment by AnninCA | 2008-05-16 19:06:25

I always knew I was moderate on fiscal matters and on several other issues. I am very liberal, however, on social programs, education, health care.

I will never accept that liberals would stand by and watch a woman be trashed as she has been, so this entire “progressive” label to me is nothing more than the same unreasonable rigidity I saw from the Christian right. They strangled the Republicans.

The ONE thing I do like about Obama is that he has already dumped that progressive group. His move to block funding outside groups? Telling.

Hillary did the same, but she did it on political differences.

What was really neat listening to the women on this radio call in is that they were well-informed, bright, mature, reasonable……AND mad as hell.

This is just not what the insiders were expecting.

And given the sound of the voices, I’d say this group doesn’t get mad easily and definitely won’t be protesting in any way that is ineffectual or temporary relief. They are mad in a big way.

The Democrats are in real trouble.

The women are mad. :)

Comment by alibe4-Hillary | 2008-05-16 19:50:31

We lived thru Nixon, we lived thru Reagan, we lived thru the Bush’s, we can make it thru McCain. Hillary or we vote for Mccain. You can take it to the bank.
Yes, the women are mad!

Why is it that when anyone person asks a question about BO the only rebuttal is, “Hillary this or that” as if the person posting the question even gives a rats ass about her. Blindly following someone who has yet to shell out a plan for change is grealt misleading. Words are words, unless you have something of substance to add to them, they will remain meaningless.
