Obama Boys: Let’s Hire 400 Bloggers To Make Nicey With Those Bitches

Today’s male idea of a little “blip on the radar,” entitled Women Threaten Boycott of Obama is just the Start. This I already know from the past.

It seems that Barky Obama knows it too. He’s hired 400 new bloggers to “sway” us women that they and their fellow sexist pig, misogynist Barry Obama, is good for us. They hope to “bamboozle” us. “Hoodwink” us. God, I wonder how many of these guys’ wives actually stayed with them.

Those bloggers are going to have their work cut out for them. I mean besides us bitches, they have to convince other otherwise useless people to vote for Barack Obama, such as: Gays and Lesbians, Italians, Irish, Catholics, Latinos, Florida, Michigan, Old People, Jews, and Bitter Hicks With Guns.

Meanwhile, while Howard Dean and Teddy I bang em and then I pretend I care about their rights Kennedy are giggling about those ‘girls” making a little noise, women are doing what they eventually always do when they have been pushed to the limits by misogynists and sexist pigs:

They Rebel.

In case The Enabler, heretofore known as “Sweetie” Obama, has had a laspse in memory, there’s always this as a small reminder.

I think Red Queen describes how we all feel best. If I were you Blogger Boyz, I would get my pay check up front. Because there will be pain. Much pain. Good luck with that.

flowerman301104.jpg

It’s too late for flowers and candy.

Dear Blogger Boyz: Perhaps if your candidate hadn’t spent the last 6 months being a misogynist douchebag things could be different.Perhaps if he hadn’t thrown everyone under the bus except for you, things would be different. Perhaps if you all hadn’t jumped on the Why won’t the stupid bitch quit already campaign, things would be different. Perhaps if you all hadn’t spent the last three weeks declaring that the white underclass couldn’t possibly have valid opinons and that they are all just racists, things would be different. Perhaps. But it’s too late.In fact, I think another post-sexual white woman said it best with this.

Comment by Gaylen | 2008-05-18 01:30:17

omgwtfrofl

Either you’re a dude or you’re young and incredibly naive.

Dearie, misogyny is thousands of years old.

Think about that for a minute. Thousands of generations of men have had daughters but were still mysoginists. Just like there are plenty of homophobes that are still homophobic even when their kid/s come/s out of the closet.

Good golly, it’s frightening that I might be explaining this to an actual woman.

Comment by ginamc | 2008-05-18 01:50:22

what’s really scary is that this a whole upcoming generation of women who are so desensitized with daily consumption of misogynistic videos, music and a pop culture that portray them as mere sexual objects, that they actually have become desensitized to their own self-respect as women. Young women who actually have no critical thinking skills to see beyond what The Boyz are spoon-feeding to be the truth about themselves. Taking their cues and their perspective of reality and self-identification from immature, sexist boys (young and old) is a sad, sad testament to the current state of affairs for ALL women and men.

The only thing that I am grateful to BO’s campaign for is that this national dysfunctioinal pathology of abuse towards women that apparently was latent is exposed wide-open for ALL to see.

To the dismay of my sister returning from work the other day: seeing 2 teenaged girls not only pregnant, but pushing strollers with other kids inside.

Destination? The street corner to hang out with the “My pants are down to my knees” luzer boys, that probably got them pregnant.

Do they treat them as moms? No. I couldn’t type the trash they say, and to explain their disgusting and unhealthy habits — like spitting on the pavement like it was chaw.

Guess who pays for this “freedom” (as their parents couldn’t afford the $700/mon house payment to live here)? Taxpayers.

No responsibilies. No consequences. Everyone else pays for them to even have zero self-respect.

Comment by starfish | 2008-05-18 15:36:07

Yep. Just as long as it was done to a white woman. and as long as it gets them to the white house.

Directly, no, but as a way to aide and abet her husband’s candidacy, yes.

Michelle (”if you can’t run your own house, how can you run the White House”) Obama is about as sexist as they come. She thinks that if a husband is having an affair, the wife is to blame.

Comment by Linda C. | 2008-05-17 17:15:08

Comment by AnninCA | 2008-05-17 18:23:27

Michelle? Surely you jest. She actually said, “Anyone who can’t keep their own how in order can’t keep the White House in order.”

That’s trash talk, sexism to the max, and that was the moment I stopped paying attention to anyone who suggested she was “fresh” and “frank.”

That’s crass, boorish, and sexist.

Comment by mimi | 2008-05-17 22:49:42

Actually, Barry needs Michelle for his AA creds so she’s getting a certain amount of glove treatment. And the above poster is right. As long as he’s doing it to white women she could care less. She’d actually enjoy it.

Comment by Gaylen | 2008-05-18 01:32:53

Since his wife laid the blame for Bill Clinton’s affair at Hillary’s feet, I’d say he’s done more than tolerate it.

Love to see O+M get out and talk about GLBT rights. Come on, they’re not afraid of “my pants are down to my knees” punks opinions about GLBTs, right?

Hope every GLBT voter sees what “change” will be really like, when that Black voter block conservative church values kicks in. If they bought in to Obama, they’ll really be in shock what will happen…

[Add politico.com to the below link]

/blogs/bensmith/1007/Blacks_and_gays_in_South_Carolina.html

That’s just not SC.

Remember there was a gay video on PBS, and one of the Black gays on it actually lived and attended school in my GA area. He explained in detail the discrimination he faced from his community, and how once discovered in high school, how he was constantly beaten over it (and going to the principle for help wouldn’t have helped).

Blacks didn’t learn the “sins” of homosexuality out of the blue. It’s taught in church, that major organ of the Black community. Where whites even in the buckle of the bible belt, will politely make no comments on GLBT issues — Blacks will say what they feel without prompting — just go to any street corner where the “hip hoppers” hang out and get an ear full.

Obama represents the most devisive candidate in over a generation. He can manage to piss off about every group and demographic. That “change” is exactly what America doesn’t need.

I am not supporting any candidate that is supported by child porn addicts. Im not saying that Obama consumes child porn, only that his supporters do.

There’s 1001 values in the world, and everyone is ENTITLED to say them in this country without censorship (apart from yelling “FIRE!” in a crowded theater) — and even believe the world should follow their values, and also say it. If another dislikes it, they’re ENTITLED to argue their points and world view, too.

That’s the beauty of free speech. All sides can say their stuff. Not look for hall monitors to police what they dislike out.

And I still want to know if it was faith-based tax dollars that built his $1.6m mansion. Even if the church didn’t get that money from government programs, they could have used it in a manner consistent with the teachings of Jesus instead of black liberation theology. But the rationalization for turning tax dollars over to religious groups sure wasn’t so pastors could live in mansions.

Comment by ChrisXP | 2008-05-17 17:21:01

Shhhhh…that would upset the apple cart of ALL religions that enjoy tax-exempt status. Shhhh…

The reason the tax-exempt status was created, has a very old historical reason: those who came here on the Mayflower refused to pay taxes to the Church of England. Puritans came here to be free of religious presecution (despite that Oliver Cromwell, a Puritan himself, did more to help his opponents, by calling for a sitting king’s head later — and got it. He suffered a traitor’s death even after death, later).

But, I don’t like how churches are being used as grounds for revolutions. Mixing religion with politics is a no-no — not this junk ruling even morality out of the city square stuff, I’m talking churches pushing ideological policies, like banning the GLBT community’s equal rights. When churches get that powerful, they no longer should get the protections they enjoy, as they’re political factories. Tax them if they want to play politics, and treat them just like corporations — will need the funds in case of more Wacos.

That’ll leave the rest of the houses of worship to enjoy their status, as they keep to their teachings, not using their houses of worship as senatorial recruitment centers.

Tired of this special+equal junk.

Ewww! But I realized today that Republicans, Democrats, Independents, and Undeclareds (?) are all joining together to keep out the conman that is Barack Obama. And if we end up having to vote for McCain, then it’s a whole new ballgame…

Comment by tm | 2008-05-17 19:44:59

McCain is definitely a better choice compared to Obama –

he wants to help out all us Americans that ended up in adjustable loans that are tripling our mortgage payments and says that the solution is to GET A 2ND JOB AND DON’T TAKE A VACATION

he gets his money to run for office from people who solicit it from child enslavers, dictators and other scum of the earth

McCain has sought closer ties to the extreme religious right in recent years. The pastor McCain calls his “spiritual guide,” Rod Parsley, believes America’s founding mission is to destroy Islam, which he calls a “false religion.” McCain sought the political support of right-wing preacher John Hagee, who believes Hurricane Katrina was God’s punishment for gay rights and called the Catholic Church “the Antichrist” and a “false cult.”

The Children’s Defense Fund rated McCain as the worst senator in Congress for children. He voted against the children’s health care bill last year (SCHIP – advocated so passionately by Hillary) then defended Bush’s veto of the bill.

and by the way i’m a UNPAID WOMAN BLOGGER – sorry to disappoint

Did anyone hear Mike Papantonio on Air America today? He compared the Republicans’ refusal to acknowledge the existence of global warming with the Democrats’ acceptance of Monica as not being very important. In his little world these are two equivalent examples of blatant partisanship. Why can’t I listen for more than 10 or 15 minutes without being subjected to outrageous Clinton bashing?

Why do I continue returning to Air America you wonder? Because I work at home online and get bored. (No, I am not one of the OB Blogger Boyz.) I cannot listen to Taylor Marsh’s podcasts more than once a day. BBC and NPR put me to sleep.

I found Lou Dobbs on the radio last week. Apparently, he has a new broadcast and he’s an Independent. No Hillary bashing. In fact, he was bashing the DNC last week and told a FL voter that he can’t understand why the MI and FL voters haven’t all quit the Democratic party after the way that they were treated. That it would send a loud and clear message.

Nice way to sum it up.

Even I don’t believe the hocus-pocus of “global warming”, since I remember in the 70s these same bozos were claiming of a new “pending Ice Age”. Want a Xerox copy from a book I copied years ago of the igloo that was suppose to keep us toasty?

Surely these brave new – or should I say neo-democrats don’t need us. We are so bitter and partisan and we don’t know how to do politics right. In fact, all the bad stuff that’s happened to our country was our fault. Obama said he’d get the Republicans to help him…and I’m sure he will.

Shows how fucking stupid they are–it isn’t the President who MAKES law, it’s the CONGRESS.

I think that no matter who wins the WH, the Democrats will be sitting pretty in the Senate for the next six years. They’ll be able to beat that kind of shit back. It’s amazing what you can do legislatively if you need to. Should it even come to that, and I don’t think the Supremes will touch a challenge–they’ll simply “decline to hear” the case. They aren’t stupid–they CAN be impeached.

But then, you can’t teach a zitfaced punk who slept through history class anything that has more words or ideas in it than “Yes we can!” See, that phrase has the same number of words as “Pass the bong!”

Excellent resource. His 2 investments were interesting as well as his typical mushy-mouthed passive denials of impropriety. It’s gotten to be a real pattern with him. But for today’s hypocrisy tidbit, I liked this one:

CHARGE 39 – “I believe in fairness, not tactics, to win elections.”

“I liked Alice Palmer a lot. I thought she was a good public servant,” Obama said. “It was very awkward. That part of it I wish had played out entirely differently.”

His choice divided veteran Chicago political activists.

“There was friction about the decision he made,” said City Colleges professor emeritus Timuel Black, who tried to negotiate with Obama on Palmer’s behalf. “There were deep disagreements.”

Had Palmer survived Obama’s challenge, he would have faced the daunting task of taking on an incumbent senator. Palmer’s elimination marked the first of several fortuitous political moments in Obama’s electoral success: He won the 2004 primary and general elections for U.S. Senate after tough challengers imploded when their messy divorce files were unsealed.

He’s got more excuses than George Bush. I feel entirely comfortable with calling him a fraud now.

Comment by Rickya | 2008-05-17 16:30:20

I think that we, Hillary supporters have always held a strong belief that in the end, truth and competence will prevail. This is what kept most of us from expressing our disgust over the race-baiting and misogyny in this primary season more concretely. Most of us have an underlying belief that the DNC leadership, despite it’s shilling for Obama will, in the end, be fair.

But the events of this week (NARAL endorsement, Edwards endorsement, etc.) has confirmed the worst fears of most of us – The DNC party elites are going to crown Obama regardless of the results of the primaries. And this has forced many of Hillary’s grassroot supporters into action.

I have been lurking not only here but also in other places on the net where fellow Hillary supporters congregate and I am feeling a sense of finality in the decision to abandon support of the DNC. I think it would be impossible ( not just hard ) for the DNC to get back the support of Hillary’s coalition if Hillary is denied the presidential nomination.

Comment by President Hillary Clinton will beat Obama and his troll army | 2008-05-17 16:39:01

Let the DNC know! They won’t be able to claim ignorance when they fall to pieces. Or maybe there is still a slim chance they come to their senses. Never give up until its over.

Comment by swannyj | 2008-05-17 16:57:27

This is very true and for every HRC supporter that post he/she will not vote Obama you can bet there are others in the community, buy not on the net, that feel the same way. My entire family, including extended family voted for HRC and although I may be the only one voicing I will vote for McCain before Obama on the net they all are feel the same. Obama’s (DNC) problem is not only with women crossing over but with women and their entire families crossing over.

Obama’s father was a muslim who had more than one wife at a time, and there’s no proof that Obama’s father was divorced when he hooked up with BO’s mother. Obama dreams of being just like his father, so yes, he can be sexist.

Comment by Linda C. | 2008-05-17 20:21:11

Carie
You have been doomed. Obama was not raised by a single teenage mother. Obama’s biological father left when he was 2. His mother re-married when he was 5. Thus he had a stepfather. They moved to Indonesia. He was sent back to Hawaii to be with his grandparents at age 10. He lived with his grandparents until he went to college. He has never been to Kansas, but lives mostly in Oz where he is known as the Wizard.

I say he’s a sexist. He’s proven it.

You need to be tranquilized with a dart and hauled off to de-programming. You’ve got it bad. And it’s useless to think you can spread what you’ve got around here. We’ve been vaccinated! Now be off with you before we pack you off to Botany Bay!

Carrie — you are a liar!!!

Obama’s mother married not long after the Kenyan bigamist left for Harvard.

So Obama had a step dad– and went to live in Indonesia with his mother and step dad. Then Obama asked to return to HAWAII to live with his mother’s parents. He lived with his grandparents through High School — an elite, exclusive, expensive private High School.

Hey sweetie — get your facts right before you drop in for a visit again.

Have you notice that they can’t tell you why you should vote for Obama, only why you shouldn’t vote for McCain.

There is a pathetic 50 state er a 57 state general election strategy.

Super Delegates are pretty useless.. For sale to the highest bidder, and nothing they do or say has any meaning until they cast their vote at the convention. That is why there is a push to get Hillary Clinton out. They are a bunch of lazy ass profiteers who don’t want to do their job. The has-beens of the party get to parade around before the media on last time before the nail goes into Obama’s coffin lid.

There isn’t one super delegate that has pledged for Obama that actually did anything positive for the campaign. Bill Richards has had no luck with the Latino vote. Bob Casey had no impact of the blue collar vote. Kerry and Kennedy haven’t changed anyone’s mind in their state. McGovern came out for a moment and thought it was still 1968. John Edwards is being sent to talk to white people in KY. He never managed to get the white vote for himself. They are hangers on attaching their name to a failed shooting star.

Comment by tm | 2008-05-17 19:53:01

reasons TO consider – or at least look at Obama as a possible candidate for your vote:

1.MORTGAGES/FORECLOSURES – Intends to set out to penalize companies identified as predatory lenders and use the money to establish a fund to help those having trouble making current payments. Intends to reform BK laws to allow bk courts to restructure mortgage payments and help the people – not the companies.

BK REFORM – For people forced into BK by medical issues, he intends to develop a program of debt forgiveness to keep people out of bk and assist them in getting back on their feet.

Intends to provide a $500/person – $1,000/family “making work pay” tax credit 6.Will make the Child Care Tax Credit REFUNDABLE up to 50% – this will GIVE BACK 50% of the money people spend on child care expenses and decrease their everyday costs!

ELIMINATE TAXES FOR SENIORS MAKING LESS THAN $50K/YR and eliminate their requirement to file returns.

Create new Teacher Service Scholarships to cover four years of undergraduate or two years of graduate teacher education in exchange for teaching for at least four years in a high need field or location.

Increase teacher pay and provide incentives to those that teach in underserved places such as rural areas and inner cities.

American Opportunity Tax Credit – universal and fully refundable tax credit that will ensure the first $4K of college education is completely free and will provide any tuitition costs up to 2/3 the tuition at a university as a tax credit – making college basically free to Americans.

GAS/FUEL ISSUES – requiring increased fuel economy standards with credits and loan guarantees for auto manufacturers, investing money into advanced vehicle technologies, providing tax incentives, government contracts to develop new tecnologies to deploy cellulosic ethanol, promote farmer owned biofuel refineries, increase renewable fuel standard, reduce oil consumption.

Obama actually has several very detailed plans to assist those in rural America – particularly beginning with their schools – he intends to promote programs to attract well qualified teachers to the rural communities that need them with incentives, he wants to assist farm communities by increasing the ability of independent farmers to compete with the large corporate farms, intends to invest in improving the infrastructure in rual communities, increase the number of doctors and nurses who provide services in rural areas by providing loan forgiveness for service in rural communities, making medicaid and medicare payments to rural providers on scale to match those paid in urban areas, and wants to enable rural communities to have access to broadband internet and modern

Comment by AnninCA | 2008-05-17 19:59:02

Good try, and most of these programs haven’t a shot at getting through congress.

But at least you put your argument forth on a policy issue.

Here’s a problem:

Capital gains. Lots of retirees have stock portfolios from 401K. His plan will kill them.

Taxes. Any dual income family on either coast….you’re dead.

Health care…….lousy plan that will continue to kill my state, anyway. Either it’s universal or forget it. It’s another medicaid plan that will be rife with problems.

Mortgage? Please! See his voting record.

And energy, which you wisely skipped….he’s a disaster. But then, he’s so inexperienced, he actually owes his lobbyists favors.

Real politicians don’t. They’ll cough it up just to have lunch. :)

Comment by tm | 2008-05-17 20:18:58

McCain’s assertion that Obamas plan and whom capital gains taxes would affect is another story. He says they would affect “mutual funds and 401(k)s.” He’s right on mutual funds, but not about 401(k) or mutual funds held under a 401(k) retirement planA 401(k) is a retirement account to which workers can contribute earnings without paying taxes on the earnings. People aren’t taxed on their 401(k) accounts until they withdraw the money. When they do withdraw that money, it’s subject to regular income taxes, not capital gains taxes.

The only difference between his plan and Hillarys is that his doesn’t mandate adult coverage – therefore it doesn’t impose penalties/fines if adults choose to opt out. Only difference.

Experience record – Hillary has her 7+ yrs in US Senate (only elected office) in addition to her 28 years being involved in politics other than serving in office.

Obama – 3+ years US Senate, 8 years Illinois Senate – + 8 years before running for office involved in politics (community organization, etc) other than serving in office –

Look up Senator Clinton’s experience. Runs circles around Obama’s.
Senator Clinton twice voted as one of the top most influential lawyers in the country before she was 42 years old. Was also a “commnity organizer”. Worked for the Children’s Defense Fund. Actually has trial court experience. Was one of two women on faculty for the University of Arkansas School of Law. Considered to be on of the top 100 most influential women of all time biography noted by Deborah Felder.

First Lady of Arkansas…worked on education and health care reform

First Lady of the US. Put her neck on the political chopping block for NARAL in 1999.

Supporter of care for veterans, universal health care, child health care, human rights, international speaker, yes foreign polciy experience

Twice elected to US Senate

Now please go do your homework on Hillary Clinton.

Also read Obama’s own book. You will find out that he wasn’t raised by a single mother on food stamps. What a myth everyone is creating starting with the rev wright all the to axelass

I wasn’t trying to take anything away from Hillary – merely pointing out that he isn’t as “inexperienced” as most seem to think.

Comment by mimi | 2008-05-17 23:56:20

I’d like him to cough up some hardcore results during his time as a Community organizer. His entire State Senate record not just the last year when Herndon passed all those Bills his way. I’d also like him to produce his transcripts from Colunmbia U so I can personally see what he studied while he was there and with whom. I’d also like this bit of curiosity satisfied as to why he lived ALL the way over on 94th Street near the FDR where he had to make that long arduous commute to class each day, rather than live in Morningside Heights. Was it to be close to the Islamic Center on 96th and the FDR Drive? Or better yet, why didin’t he live in Harlem where he could have connected with real live AAs in a vibrant community that is known throughout the world and has such a rich history. Especially seeing as how he was raised with his Caucasian relatives and had virtually no contact with black people.

This is what I’m interested in so could you be a good little troll and run along and bring that info back to me!

You’re missing the point. At some point, people’s 401K protections are over.

At that point, Obama’s capital gains tax plan will KILL them.

Get it?

It’s disastrous.

Now, personally, I can handle a bit of an increase, but not what he’s saying.

That alone pushes me, although younger than most, right into McCain’s arms.

When you don’t LIKE someone, then pocketbook issues will override social issues.

That’s what I’m pointing out.

He’s got way too many pockets of voters who really aren’t motivated to vote for him.

He’s tanking in the polls for a reason.

And, oddly enough, the fact that he’s ignoring Hillary in KY and Or. is testifying to his real problem.

It’s not racism or the big stuff. It’s that Wright caused people to step back and look.

And based on their own reasons, he’s not worth voting for anymore.

He’s tanking.

No, no, no….and this is core stuff. He mandates parents. First of all, I think that’s probably not even acceptable by the courts. I’m no lawyer, but I’ve been amazed that nobody challenged him on this. You can’t require parents to buy insurance and not single people. That’s nuts.

What’s up with nobody asking this question about his plan, anyway?

(And that includes, Hillary, btw)

No, his plan will KILL CA.

No mistake that we didn’t support his candidacy.

We’re flooded with uninsured. It’s shutting down our medical system.

Either the country helps us or we’ll have to pass our own plan.

But let me tell you this, as a So Cal voter, this ticks me off in a way that is direct and sure.

We’ve been run over with the immigration problem. Now, you’re telling me you don’t care?

Well, phooey on you.

I care.

It matters.

And I’m not about to vote for a turkey who thinks otherwise but still thinks I’ll vote for him.

No way.

McCain’s program will be just as good in So. Cal. It’s a nothing program.

At least it won’t cost CA taxpayers money supporting some ineffectual plan in states while we die.

I have argued this with obamabrats ad nausieum…they don’t see it that their parents are still paying for them or if they have no health care and need it ..that we are all paying for them..seems their college education left off at common sense..and math skills.

Comment by Uppity | 2008-05-17 21:58:24

I completely disagree that Obama’s health care plan even comes close to solving the probem of the uninsured. His health care plan is esentially useless because it won’t work.

Here’s why: He says that he isn’t going to “interfere with states” as if the states are going to do the magic changey thing. Whomever put that plan together is woefully unknowledgeable of how States operate. In MANY states, the state legislators are in the back pocket of health care insurers. Barack Obama clearly also does not know that some states forbid by law that their residents cross state lines to get health insurance cheaper. This means they not only cannot purchase “congressional health care plan” but they cannot shop beyond the state. This means that health care insurers in these states, NY comes to mind, will happily gobble up any ’supplementary incentives” and STILL continue to raise rates– and the state ‘leaders’ won’t do a thing about it.

Secondly, people who “can’t be forced” to be insured have to be paid for by the rest of us, thus driving up premiums rather than reducing them. I am also not so sure Obama has a clue what a single pay health care policy costs. Where I am it is just shy of $900 for a lousy HMO. That’s Per month. For a family, it’s closer to 2k. That is not going to change any time soon. In my state, legislators passed some kind of “law” to ’supplement’ single pay and in the end, the insurers reduced premiums by $5 a month. You can imagine that was a joke.

Barack Obama does not understand the way single pay health care insurance works or he would automatically know that he cannot depend on state-to-state improvements in costs. The only way to force health care insurers to cut the crap is to regulate them or as a minimum force then to be not for profit. If this is not done, health insurers will continue too answer to stockholders and a bottom line, which means people will continue to die or be refused treatment while paying a high premium. I would take Medicare any day of the week. The seniors have a far better health care plan than I do at a far more reasonable cost.

There are people I know right now who are spending down their retirement savings in order to buy health care. To continue on this way is to ensure millions of very poor seniors in the future. In many states, qualifying for a state sponsored policy at hugely reduced costs requires you to liquidate you assets, in other words, be one step up from eligible for medicaid. To Depend on states and the “free market” is a doomed plan. Without regulation and a demand for accountability to health rather than a bottom line, the program will be the same as it is today–unless of course Barack Obama realizes that he does have to enact a federal mandate to states and/or regulate the health care industry.

Barack Obama needs to go back to the drawing board and learn something about how health care works from state to state before he claims he can do this by waving his hopey changey wand across America and all the states will just swoon and comply and “drive down costs”. The only way to ensure health care at a reasonable cost for everyone is a universal health care plan or the same 50 million will remain uninsured as far as the states are concerned.

Are you trying to elicit a nasty response?

I grew up in a SMALL town in Wisconsin – I live in a pretty small town in Nevada – I have no animosity for rural people nor any interest in calling them names nor anyone who supports Hillary – I’m doing this because I believe that for all Obamas faults – he will make a good president and can help us help make this country great again.

I see the media in Egypt A front page editorial in Al-Gomhouria, another Egyptian state-owned daily, described Mr. Bush as “a failed president who delivers nothing but a lousy speech.” and I see that becoming worse under McCain.

As I said before – I’m just doing what I can not for Obama – but for me, my kids, and the rest of my family that is all over the US – my reasons are personally selfish – not campaign motivated. I don’t expect everyone to just “fall in line” or forgive the nastiness that you all obviously experienced in his name – but if I can get even one of you to at least look at his site and review his plans and maybe even decide to support him, then I’m doing my part.

Frankly, I’m not going to set aside MY interests for anyone this year.

The Democratic Party has toasted me. I’m going to vote my own pocket book and my own feelings, and I can guarantee you, it won’t be Democrat.

I have always been someone who would have benefitted from Republican tax policies.

This year…..they have earned my vote.

And that’s because of the hideous, appalling behavior by the DNC regarding Hillary.

I’ll be voting Republican for the first time in my entire voting life.

And I couldn’t care less if I’m labeled a racist.

Go ahead.

But you’re still going to lose my vote, because these insults are beyond acceptable behavior.

Comment by tm | 2008-05-17 21:27:28

I have not insulted anyone on this blog and no intention of doing so.

I’m glad that you are in a financial position to benefit from Republican policy – unfortunately I’m not but that isn’t the point.

I am fully aware that personal preference or “liking” someone is always part of a vote.

McCain isn’t just about republican policy – my issue with him is that if he gets into office, my 25 year old brother will end up back in Iraq for a 3rd tour – which is unacceptable to me, that he has a complete disregard for people who are losing their homes and is of the mistaken impression that its only “going to take couple months to level out” – which is delusional at best.

I’m not here to convince you to NOT vote for McCain – I’m just trying to point out some of the positive strategies that Obama has – which even your candidate stated are almost a mirror or her own in many important respects.

While I don’t like the way the Democratic rules are set up – it is what it is – and no matter how anyone wants to spin it, the numbers don’t look good for Hillary – but they haven’t pushed her out – they are finishing the primaries – which I had hoped would be a good thing since they were getting such great voter registration turnout between the two of them – which seemed to fuel the interest.

They WILL end up seating Michigan and Florida – and the last discussion to do MI wasnt blocked by Obama – that time it was Hillary who blocked it.

One other thing I did want to comment on was that the actions taken in Hillarys name are also a direct reflection on her – just as you’ve put the actions and statements made by Obama supports on him.

Obviously democrats the country over have deep loyalty, belief and are passionate about our respective candidates and I believe either of them would serve well as President, but only one can go on from the Primaries.

But anyways – I’ve said my peace and I’m not here to start a nasty conversation, take or give insults – I’m sticking to the facts & that’s all I can do. I hope you all have a great weekend. =)

All well and good. You have your story I have mine. I don’t think Barack Obama will make a good president. He doesn’t have enough experience. Elected in NOVEMBER 2004, sworn in JANUARY 2005. What’s that? Like 3 full years in the Senate, one of which he’s been running for office. Roughly 18 months in the National Arena. He was Chairman of an all-important sub-committee for NATO and didn’t hold one meeting. Too busy running for President? Bull shit! He has traveled no where in Europe where our Allies are and these trips to Africa at best were excursions to reconnect with family. He has yet to explain what the fuck he was doing taking this side trip to Pakistan and India as a college student and hasn’t spoken anything of what he experienced on that junket. Please spare me the “ I lived in Indonesia” crap. He was a child. Trying to use that as experience to is no different than Hillary exaggerating her Bosnia story. Both incidents actually happened, but were spun well out of realistic proportions to have any real relevancy.

I enjoyed the posters comments above with regard to healthcare and the Capital Gains tax. I don’t have anything to add except BRAVA!

I’ll end by saying I respect your right even if I think it’s delusional, to support Obama. Please respect mine. It’s beyond Hillary and the insults. It’s down to the core of the Democratic Party. This is not the first time they did this: 1968, 1972, 1980, 1984, 1988, 2000, 2004 and 2008. In my mind I have to make this point to them:

ENOUGH!

And if that means a McCain presidency, so be it. America will survive. And unless Barack answers some of the questions I posed to you upthread, I’m not sure America can survive an Obama presidency. If he is the change you’ve been waiting for, good for you.

I’m still waiting.

Obama will have to:

WIN WITHOUT ME!

Obama’s campaign has been extremely negative — from the very beginning. Obama used his followers to deliver the message. For children who grew up hearing nothing but negative messages about the Clintons — they HATE Senator Clinton — and they cannot give one valid and true reason for their hatred.

Okay, you really have no idea what the meaning of sexism is.

Of course it is possible; in fact it happens all the time that the men who are sexist pigs have a wife and daughters as well.

That you might not know any does not mean it is not possible:
all you have to do is look at history, read for G’sake. Do you think that the men who refused to give women the right to vote for so long all had boys or were single? Today’s sexism is expressed differently but there it has nothing to do with being a married man or having daughters.

In fact many women make sexist comments all the time about other women as well.

Question:

If Obama has won already; why aren’t all the BOManiacs
battling the Maverick supporters already?

I mean, if I knew that HRC won already I wouldn’t be wasting my time with the BOmaniacs; couldn’t care less in fact. I would have my energy set in the November prize.

So, let me ask again: why have they increased their traffic with angry, vulgar and insulting comments in the pro-Hillary blogs lately?

He probably wanted boys. The only time he will “get it” is when those girls grow up and some smarmy guy at work starts calling her sweetie and honey and patting her on the shoulder or lower. Then after she trains some guy and he becomes her manager the next week, Barry will “get it” some more.

How would you explain what it means to the people you are arguing with? I have a feeling that this word has different semantic connotations for Carrie than for the rest of us.

Carrie, having two daughters has nothing to do with somebody making “sexist” comments to women.

I’m all for making nice, in fact, it’s about time. It’s been embarrassing to be a Democrat this primary season with all the garbage talk coming out the BO crowd. But the thought that making nice to HRC supporters will “bring us to Obama” is the same thinking that thought we would melt over the “hope” and “change” rhetoric – we didn’t and we won’t because we aren’t vulnerable to rhetorical baloney – we see right through it. More importantly, all the making nice rhetoric in the world won’t change the fact that Obama is an unqualified, unproven leader whose past is at best troubling.

If Obama wants our support he’ll have to earn it – and at this point I don’t see how he can given all the misogyny, race baiting, caucus abusing, finger giving, debate dodging, plagiarizing, two-talking, issue straddling and b_ll-sh__ting coming from the Obama campaign.

Thanks for the topic. I’m shocked by the absolute insanity of thinking that women who kept voting in state after state, who kept speaking up, who sent her $10 million dollars in hours when we found out she needed money, who have created blogs, written the truth like maniacs over and over……are actually being ignored.

The latest? This rudeness of Obama in not bothering to show up in Kentucky? It even has Buchanan fuming.

When did conservative men become the champion of women? When did the Democrats start treating women in the party as though they should fetch them their slippers?

I thought I had long ago left behind my feminist anger. I was so wrong. This debacle has brought it right up to the surface, and this time, I’m older, richer, and know dang well what to do with it.

This is going to be a turning point in history, one way or another. :)

Just what the hell kind of message is that? Perhaps it’s just uncool to not participate in this misogyny fest… am I missing something here??

When Hillary Clinton leaves the race, there will be a quiet riot among the largest, most faithful voting bloc Democrats have ever had. Women work the 2 shifts necessary to make sure our kids can go to college. Women keep families together and children safe and sound when irreparable circumstances tear at the fabric of family. On the day Hillary leaves the race, women in America – regardless of who they personally endorse for the White House – owe it to this courageous woman Hillary Clinton to make our voices heard as one. Women care about health care, education, and the environment. If you are a woman tired of being told by anyone to leave your dreams behind, do this for yourselves. On the day Clinton leaves the race, join in one moment of QUIET RIOT — stop working or caring for others long enough to let America know it needs to take care of YOU.

Comment by Richard | 2008-05-17 23:18:52

White women should also realize that they are the biggest beneficiaries of the civil rights movement where the blood that was spilled was that of the Black man. Where were you when the marchers were being lynched, murdered and shot with water cannons. I don’t think any of you angry white women were around or there when Blacks were dying. However, to get the voting rights act and civil rights act through you were included and benefited greatly from the very same policies that you rail against when they apply to minorities.

Now that it appears that a Black man is on the verge of capturing the title coveted by the white majority, POTUS, there seems to be a problem. You engage in rumor mongering and when someone fights back you play the victim. You use buzz words such as “boyz” to heighten racial tensions. That’s not right. When a dissenting opinion arrives on this blog the unintellighent among you – you know the “uneducated and uninformed voter” – are quick to show your stupidity with one liners (stuck on stupid).

But I digress. I do believe that you have the right to your opinion, but sometimes it is better to sit at your computer and look stupid, than to start typing and remove all doubt – karom shot to you UPPITY

PS – Where do I apply to get paid for my posts. I would like nothing better than getting paid for something I really enjoy doing – educating the ignorant

Richard,

Didn’t I advise you on another blog that you’re not helping!!! We may not be on the same team, but I can assure you that rants like this validate nothing but bad things for Obama. You really ought to stop typing this crap into your computer and go visit Obama friendly sites. Do it for your nerves. But if you are so gung ho over Obama then do it for him. Besides, there’s nothing you can do to force people to vote for someone they don’t want. This is a democracy, the Primary feature of which is choice. Anything else is a dictatorship. Is that the change Obama is talking about? Gangs of bullies forcing people to vote for him? Also, you better brace yourself because if you’re upset now, you are really going to be upset when he doesn’t win because as it’s been pointed out, Republicans get to vote too in Nov and all the people Obama and his supporters have insulted will also get to vote and express their anger about that. It won’t be a Caucus where people can be shouted down and bullied (so much for he beat her fair and square). People will be able to go into a voting booth, close the curtain and in the privacy of that booth do whatever they want to.

So deal with it!

All the carrying on about white women and racism is not going to change that. You might as well get a grip.

Comment by Ai1een | 2008-05-18 02:15:36

Richard –
Please don’t tell me that you are DARING to post publicly that no white women marched for civil rights. Can you really be that ignorant? You might want to do a little bit of research before you post next time because the truth is, there ABSOLUTELY were whites that marched and demonstrated for Civil Rights in America, plenty that got on buses and traveled to the South -college age young women and young men…some of them happened to be our mothers or aunts or fathers or uncles, and many of them are what made us be the politically passionate women of today posting on this pro-Hillary site and others that abound, fighting for another very just cause. Yes, there were white people there, they DID march for civil rights and they too were shot with water cannons, and bit by German Shepards and clubbed in the head and YES, Richard, there were even whites MURDERED for the cause of Civil Rights. Were they as many as African Americans? No, but whites were very much a part of this worthy movement in America just as there were some men who fought for the Suffragette movement. Were there more men than women? No …but they were there. And, just to let you know, while Jesse Jackson,Jr, Axelrod and the passive aggressive Obama were saying that Hillary had “disrespected” Martin Luther King by mentioning LBJ at the end of her speech,(which Obama later claimed in the MSNBC Nevada debate that he could find no disrespect in Hillary’s MLK Speech) you might want to do a little research on that too. Martin Luther King is the undisputed leader of America’s Civil Rights Movement (imo), however, a “MOVEMENT” indicates more than one person – you can’t have a LEADER of a movement,if there are no people following. Therefore, it was especially revealing that while 99.999% of Hillary’s MLK speech was glowing and reverent about the works of Martin Luther King (& deservedly so) the fact that her one mention of LBJ at the end caused Obama’s entire campaign to cry foul was the most BLATANT act of racism I have seen in quite some time. If Obama was truly a UNITER, he should have applauded her mention of LBJ as well, for while LBJ was certainly NOT the leader (and she never said he was) he did work his ass off trying to do what he could in his political world in Washington DC to try and get the Civil Rights Act passed through Congress. Why? Because so many Senators and Representatives were too afraid to vote “yes” because they thought they wouldn’t get re-elected. LBJ, didn’t face the physical danger that MLK did, but he did recognize that America needed to change and he did work night and day to cajole, twist arms and even harrass Senators and Congressmen to get on board and give that piece of legislation the vote it deserved; the vote that Martin Luther King wanted him to work and get through Congress. So though 99.999% of Hillary’s speech in Columbia SC in January was centered on the work of Martin Luther King, and deservedly so, it was especially revealing that the Obama camp took umbrage at daring to give a white man one small mention at the very end. If you have the moral fortitude to read the transcript, you will see why the accusation of “disrespect” was a FABRICATED LIE and more importantly, Richard, not only should they have applauded her nod to LBJ; if Obama was truly a UNITER, if he TRULY doesn’t see the world in terms of race, as he claims, then the words should have come out of his own mouth. But, in truth, Obama’s (Axelrod & Jackson’s) entire strategy in SC was to win by “race baiting” – Jesse Jackson Jr. started it in NH by going on television with a prepared statement the morning after her NH win saying that Hillary’s tears were racist, then they “conveniently” made the “disrespect” accusations about her MLK speech (which Obama later said there was no disrespect) and 4 pages worth of smears against both Bill and Hillary that were spread by the Obama campaign which Tim Russert verified in the MSNBC Nevada Debate (which Obama later blamed on overzealous volunteers) not to mention the “work” of the National African American Religious Leadership Committee which was first set up in SC – on which was personally placed by Obama the infamous Rev. Jeramiah Wright. 12/4/07 Press Release – “…The SC campaign has held Obama Faith Forums across the state, launched the ‘40 Days of Faith & Family’ effort and reached out to people of faith to help them organize within their own networks to spread the word about Obama. So far, the Obama campaign has recruited more than 200 Faith Community Contacts – grassroots church leaders who are identifying and educating voters in advance of the primary election – in 27 counties.” Hmmmmmm – I wonder Richard, if one doesn’t see the world in terms of race, as Obama claims – how does one go about “identifying” voters in order to “educate” them about Obama? Incidentally, you will note, these convenient “African American Religious Leadership Committees” are set up in every state Obama enters that has a fairly significant AA populace.

A Letter to Clinton Supporters Count Too in Ohio

.. you have allowed your evangelical belief in her candidacy to cloud your judgement and endanger the very nature of the General Election

.. I hope that all young women across this nation who are forced to endure watching McCain’s strict constructionist SCOTUS appointees take away their right to chose are given your names, addresses and telephone numbers so they can call and thank you and your compatriots personally.

..This is our year to reinstate the dignity, standing and decency our nation has lost through 8 long years of Corporatocracy and demigogoury [sic].

..Your selfish soap box pontification……
blah blah blah wahhhh leave Barky alone!!!! etc etc

Mother Earth to “Heather” – First you need to know how to spell demagoguery before you blindly fucking follow and worship a prime example of the concept. Second of all when did you start thinking it was OK to go all Kossucker/Malkin on us and out personal private information on anybody. For what purpose, to be able to send your Obot thugs to threaten and endanger their or our lives? Do a little research, like google Hillary and you will discover that right from the beginning she did not present herself as a kind of woman that we could be proud of.
Imagine what would happen if the first woman president turns out to be criminal? How long would it be before another woman would be trusted? Think about that. What we need is the intuitive wisdom and intellectual kindness that most woman find instinctive. I mean, Hillary got balls alright, but then she is no better than a man.

“don’t worry be happy”

Sounds like an obamabot to me.

Anyway — we here know all about google. And we also know that Hillary Clinton is probably the most minutely investigated candidate EVER to run for the office of President.

The sort of garbage Obama has been throwing at both President Clinton and Senator Clinton is frankly Republican behavior. From calling the Clintons racists — and bringing out the very racists Mrs. Obama who plays the race card without breaking a sweat — being racists is what SHE learned in church. Sort of like the white identity crowd — except she believes in the black identity — skin head garbage.

Nearly 8 years of “No child left behind” and the results? We get the idiot baby bloggers who have no sense of history, nor understanding of history, nor any critical thinking ability.

Just like your messiah — you Obamabots can’t debate and are devoid of any logic — all you can do is repeat the same tired old phrases.

But guess what — Obama is a Baby boomer and he’s over thirty — he’s OLD — really OLD. The only hopie, changie he has is that he wants to loot the Social Security FUTURE — that means you idiot Obamabots — he’ll use you and then toss you away.

And you little girls who scream for Obama — how stupid can you babies be? Amazing — you are willing to sign on to a traveling salesman’s show — a con artist.

Sisterhood is powerful — perhaps one day you baby girls Obamabots might understand what that means. Meanwhile swoon after the latest FAD. But right now I don’t give a damn about your right to choose or your right to control your own body — because sure as shooting — Obama could care less. He really really liked Roberts and wanted to vote for him for the Supreme Court — until one of his aids told him that might not look so great on his record.

I loved this one, and I do want to comment here that the obama folks don’t seem to want to make nice with us in other places like……

for instance, I live in Baltimore and it is no secret that Baltimore is a 50% AA city. Yesterday at the Preakness Stakes which is a NATIONAL EVENT!, there were t-shirt hawkers out there selling the ” BROS BEFORE HO’S” t-shirts, In my humble opinion, I thinks it is a really sad statement to sell these things in front of Pimlico, as well as they were selling them in front of the Orioles game too last night, BUT , I digress in this 50% AA city its even worse when the young men selling them are AA, to me thats worse, as they want us to not be racially charged in this election but that t-shirt is making the very statement they are racist as well a misogynisic, an AA selling these very tshirts let us know how racist they are, as well as most who were raised in a home by momma, should never throw any woman under the bus! I did however let this young man know it as innappropriate at this national event! so us bitches are not feeling like they are making nice with us here on the streets as well as the internet, which again the Mccain folks must be salivating over!
