Must-Watch: Barack is WEAK — From McLaughlin Group [With Critical Update]

UPDATE via Taylor Marsh and Corrente Wire: “Clinton Election Juggernaut Accelerates“:

After Hillary Clinton’s historic 41-point victory in the West Virginia primary, two questions loom: How long will Barak Obama cling to his shattered dreams of the presidency, and how much damage will be done to the Democratic Party by his stubborn and divisive refusal to accept the obvious? [MORE BELOW THE FOLD]

This may be the best segment I’ve seen on WHY Hillary can win and WHY Barack cannot:

This segment covers her HUGE West Virginia win, and what it really means. As the videographer states, “The Mclaughlin Group talks about Hillary Clinton’s landslide victory in West Virginia and the “bizarre” math that make Barack APPEAR stronger.”

Here is the home page for the McLaughlin Group.

I make it a habit to watch this show weekly. I find that, conservative that he is, John McLaughlin has great respect for Hillary Clinton, and always has many astute observations about her abilities versus those of Obama.

You can also listen to podcasts and read transcripts from previous shows.

Here’s a sample quote from a previous show:

“And I think this thing has been very hurtful to Obama in this sense. It has drawn him out of the middle of “He’s one of us, a regular guy” over onto the left, where he’s got a wacko preacher. He’s got this Weatherman bomber friend of his. His wife has never known America to be something to be proud of. And I think it’s been overall the most…”

-Pat Buchanan

MORE FROM THE KEY CORRENTE WIRE STORY:

What just weeks earlier had looked to the Obama camp like an easy path to victory has been derailed following his confidence-shattering defeat in Indiana, a state conventional wisdom and his own campaign had projected he would win, and his disastrous showing in Pennsylvania in spite of outspending Clinton 3:1. The North Carolina win was expected, with a demographic that heavily favored Obama’s race-based campaign style, and is of no value strategically since it came in a state that will certainly end up in the Republican win column. In sharp and defining contrast, Clinton’s 41-point West Virginia primary victory is highly significant because current polls show Clinton leading McCain there by a growing margin – it is a state she can win in the fall.

Obama’s best hope for convincing party elders of his general election viability was a decent showing in West Virginia, the closest thing there is to a “key” state for Democratic victory in the general election. Obama aides tried to dismiss the state’s importance – and avoid disturbing questions about why he is badly trailing McCain there in the polls – by saying that West Virginia won’t be part of their plans for victory in the fall.

It is difficult to see how Obama could win the general election without West Virginia; no Democrat, in fact, has taken the White House without West Virginia since 1916. When pressed for Electoral College details, Obama staffers could offer no specifics on what the general election campaign plan might be. “We’re still working on that, but don’t worry,” a source* cites one staffer as saying; “we’ll come up with something.”*

Concern Mounts Regarding Obama’s Electability

The superdelegates certainly are worried. Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have repeatedly taken the trouble to make clear they don’t need to force a decision before the end of June, giving them time to see how Obama does with the remaining primaries before they make any decision. What happened in West Virginia, the single biggest percentage loss ever suffered by a leading candidate this late in the primary process, must certainly give them great pause; the expected result of next week’s Kentucky primary will only add to those concerns. The last thing these leaders want is to nominate another flawed candidate, one who can win the activist part of the Democratic Party but will fail in the general election.

Anticipating rejection by West Virginia voters, the Obama campaign scrambled to create a positive spin for an increasingly faltering effort. …

Except for the minor problem that one day’s worth of superdelegates for him completely obliterate her gains in WV.

Give it up….. He can win all the supers he wants, it wont help him come NOVEMBER. The racist folks will remember..

Comment by stodghie | 2008-05-18 12:26:33

the voters for hillary aren’t racists. i hope that was snark.

Comment by standard | 2008-05-18 13:17:16

It means the party wants something BESIDES a president.
And they are willing to lose the presidency to get it.
Governor Cuomo wisely says that we must have them both on a ticket. Because of Obama’s rotten smear campaign, this is the only way to keep the party from splitting.

But I do NOT want Clinton as Obama’s Vice President. I hope that she would not accept such a demeaning position. He will treat her like dirt.

It’s Clinton/Obama, or it’s nothing.

Comment by Nellie | 2008-05-18 13:40:11

Its Clinton and ???

NO BAMA EVER!

Comment by karen for Clinton | 2008-05-18 13:57:53

anybody BUT ob. not fit for the presidency not fit for the VP then.

There are hundreds of better choices, she will chose wisely.

you are a troll for obama making us look bad?

anyway, i reject and denounce racism and so does Hillary and Bill their WHOLE lives.

and so do an enormous amount of democrats.

Go bother the republicans with your racial slurs.

We are sick of it and you are just adding fuel to the fire of how much we can’t stand you folks.

Comment by jcb | 2008-05-18 12:13:00

That is why if Hillary does not get the nomination, bo will be a joke. And your “rules” will not help you in the general election. Ignore the will of the people and they will in return ignore (and abandon you).

Comment by Lou | 2008-05-18 13:19:45

“bo will be a joke”
BO is a dangerous man.
He’s not a joke.
He has everyone fooled…everyone.
It’s not in our mind-set to even think of what his true agenda is..

Comment by ScottVA | 2008-05-18 12:21:35

Frankly, superdelegates aren’t what gets you the win right now. Their votes only count at the convention. He needs to achieve the magic number of PLEDGED delegates on his own merit. I think he’s going to have a hard argument going into the convention with on just a delegate lead alone. Why? Because he didn’t make the magic number on his own… if she goes to the convention with a commanding Popular Vote lead his argument dims…

Comment by PssttCmere | 2008-05-18 12:57:08

You are right…obama seems to think the convention isn’t important. As for the dem leaders, they should be worried as it looks like obama is planning on taking bows for winning the nomination on Tuesday in Iowa. Not sure how good that will look when he loses KY by a landslide and maybe lose OR by a squeaker.

Comment by standard | 2008-05-18 13:19:30

The delegates might get him the nomination.
But Clinton has what it takes to win the GE – VOTES.

Comment by kanaughty | 2008-05-18 14:49:28

yeah he can claim victory, but he will look like a complete idiot because he won’t have the number 2025 in pledged delegates, so screw him, cause the sd’s don’t count until they actually vote… and i think hill is going to win in oregon. she is doing great at convincing people who haven’t voted yet and undecideds there…

Comment by Lou | 2008-05-18 13:23:07

This has to go to the floor..nothing else will do!Threats of riots are our least concern.

This is very important
Hillary is not counted out.

Think out of the box.

BHO is a very dangerous choice.

And FU Oprah..alias Okra

Comment by Lou | 2008-05-18 17:11:00

And to the convention this must go. Why the sudden bull of it has to end by June 3? HFC is done campaigning. She is ready for anythng.
Her topped out contibuters have a new clean slate to contribute in the GE.

Comment by Vince Foster | 2008-05-18 12:55:25

He can’t win. Your refusal to admit that he has no electoral college path to victory is pathetic.

Comment by Arabella Trefoil | 2008-05-18 12:02:06

The world has turned upside down! I now watch John McLaughlin because he makes interesting points. I don’t always agree with him, but I like the way he thinks. (Did he go to Jesuit Schools?) Like Pat Buchanan, McLaughlin seems to respect Hillary for her “character.” An old-fashioned word, alas.

Stainless steel back and a heart of gold.

Comment by workingclass artist | 2008-05-18 12:11:58

Good post Susan….I watch McLaughlishout weeky too….It is the only TV program that seems to at least tries analysis that is not pro obama…Besides it is a guilty pleasure to watch Buchanen eviscerate Clift as she has lost my respect….chuckle….Ol’ Pat has a keen eye even though I don’t like his politics….He is deft at analysis….thanks

Comment by beebop | 2008-05-18 13:04:04

The two in the tank for Obama (what the hell has happened to Eleanor Clift, for God’s sake?) hopey we will changey our minds in November. If they would pull their heads from their rectums long enough to look at the statistics the others use rather than shake their heads furiously in opposition to factual analysis, they would start to see it a little differently — the difference is they will have these sweet little gigs and will be telling us in December how fucked up WE WERE and never understand how angry Americans are at the MSM for once again giving us their opinions when we are looking for facts. Iraq war anyone?

Comment by karen for Clinton | 2008-05-18 14:10:21

eleanor at least admitted he has a vulnerablity.

baby steps.

Comment by KJMontana | 2008-05-18 19:18:59

I used to like Eleanor. But she has drunk so much kool-aid it’s starting to seep out of her pores. Doesn’t she know she’s one of the people Oshama doesn’t need… she’s female, white and over 50….3 strikes and she’s out.

Comment by Ellen D | 2008-05-18 12:59:17

I was under the impression McLaughlin had been a Jesuit teacher himself.

Comment by workingclass artist | 2008-05-18 13:44:51

Was he a former Jesuit Priest ?…..That is what a Jesuit teacher is…A member of the Jesuit Order….If so than the proper designation is former Jesuit….Like former Dominican…Fransican…Benedictine…etc….

Comment by seeker | 2008-05-18 16:28:03

Yes, he was a Priest; Jesuit, I think.

Pat has become the real defender of the traditional American way of life. He knows what’s at stake for us all. Pat can see that Obama is represented by the international elites who want to take over our country. That’s why he likes Hillary and calls her one of us.

Comment by Arabella Trefoil | 2008-05-18 12:06:15

Yes, you nailed it. He’s a blustery common-sense type of guy.

Comment by PssttCmere | 2008-05-18 12:59:42

Did you ever think dems would be extolling the virtues of Pat Buchanan? It is truly a different world… :)

Comment by karen for Clinton | 2008-05-18 14:18:42

well, I will say they are being nice and fair and balanced for sure. I also know that none of us have left our guard down and are still wary of republicans handing out flowers to dems.

They do seem to genuinely admire her though.

Can’t find any fault with that. She’s one of the strongest and best candidates we’ve had, um, since the big dawg!

Must run in the family.

Comment by kanaughty | 2008-05-18 15:01:29

yeah before i stopped watching msnbc it was pat and joe scarborough who were being fair and defending hillary… which is crazy. i always though pat was a cook before, but now i really really respect him for having the vision to see the other side of things. i always respect peeps who can see both sides… which is one reason i love hillary, cause she used to be a republican and then switched to dem, so to me that makes her a more fair judge of things.

Message from Missionaries in Kenya about Obama

Celeste and Loren Davis are Missionaries in Africa
and can shed some light on one of our Presidential
candidates.

Thanks for sending out an alert about Obama. We are living and
working in Kenya for almost twelve years now and know his family (tribe) well.
They are the ones who were behind the recent Presidential election chaos here.

Thousands of people have been displaced by election
violence (over 350,000) and I don’t know the last count of the dead.
Obama under “friends of Obama” gave almost a million dollars to the opposition
campaign who just happened to be his cousin, Raila Odinga, who is a socialist
trained in east Germany. He has been trying to bring Kenya down for years and
the last president threw him in prison for trying to subvert this country!
December 27th elections brought cries from ODM (Odinga Camp) of a rigged
election. Obama and Raila speak daily. As we watch Obama rise in the US we are
sure that whatever happens, he will use the same tactic, crying rigged
election if he doesn’t win and possibly cause a race war in
America.

What we would like you to know is what the American press has
been keeping a dirty little secret. Obama IS a Muslim and he IS a racist and
this is a fulfillment of the 911 threat that was just the beginning. Jihad is
the only true Muslim way. We have been working with them for 20 years this
July! He is not an American as we know it. Please encourage your friends and
associates not to be taken in by those that are promoting him. It is world
wide jihad. All our friends in Europe are very disturbed by the Muslim
infiltration into their countries. By the way, his true
name is Barack Hussein Muhammed Obama. Won’t that sound sweet to our
enemies as they swear him in on the Koran!

God Bless you. Pray for us
here in Kenya. We are still fighting for our nation to withstand the same kind
of assault that every nation, including America, is fighting. Takeover from
the outside to fit the new world order. As believers, this means we will be
the first targets. Here in Kenya, not one mosque was
burned down, but hundreds of churches were burned down, some with people in
them, burned alive.

Jesus Christ is our peace but the new
world order of Globalism has infiltrated the church and confused believers
into thinking that they can compromise and survive. It won’t be so. I will
send you a newsletter we sent out in February documenting in a more cohesive
manner what I’ve tried to say in a few
paragraphs.
Good Morning to all of you..First let me say that I love my country, and in doing so I respect the opnion of others, but that don’t mean I agree with everyone either..I don’t care if a black man becomes President, as long as he is good for this country, but I do have issues with Obama..First he disrespects the United States flag, wich to me is Disrespecting this country, and then of course instead of showing his support for the troops by wearing the flag, he chooses another way to go..I don’t support this war, but I do support the troops over there, trying to do what they can to make this world a better place..They risk their lives for the life of other’s..anyhow here is something that was sent to me and I wanted to share it with all of you..

There is only ONE real problem for Hillary. Her name is NANCY PELOSI and she has had her Jealous Fangs out for Hillary a very long time. Mark my word!

Comment by Dawnelle | 2008-05-18 12:16:37

I am not convinced of that yet.

She’s #1 a woman, #2 a practicing Catholic, #3 as concerned about women and childrens issues as any one, #4 would HAVE TO (by faith) agree and support Hillary for staying with her husband (I left mine).

I can think of more but that’s enough for now.

Plus, I think she MUST maintain an even keel about both until it’s decided otherwise be slammed as partisan and maybe she’s even giving MORE rein with the Obamatrons to try to soften their BLOW when the truth comes out.

just a thought

Comment by Ulahane | 2008-05-18 12:26:13

I might buy this except for the fact that Pelosi has been pushing superdelegates to vote with the pledged delegate winner ever since Obama pulled ahead in that category.

Comment by stodghie | 2008-05-18 12:31:38

pelosi thinks she walks on water and that she is really, really special. the only thing dems have going for them is how much they public doesn’t like bush. what they forget is that they public has given them even lower poll numbers. dukasis had high approval rating before november. need i say more!

Comment by Dawnelle | 2008-05-18 12:49:22

well she is special

she is the FIRST woman speaker of the house

I was mad at here a year or so ago for not getting us out or trying harder to get us out of war and I was siding with the MOM of that VET (I forget her name now)

but even that MOM (a bit wacked and extreme left) disliked Nancy for not being far enough LEFT

which leads me to believe she is in fact more moderate than her constituents would like

I’m holding out hope she will come around in the end and stand up for what is RIGHT

HILLARY in NOVEMBER!!!

Pelosi along with Reid have been absolute disasters. They have been selling out the Democratic base from Nov 2006. Pelosi’s interests were to make nice with Bushco inorder to attempt to pass legislation of primary interest to the increasing corrupt California delegation and her cabal of female cronies like Zoe Lofgren and Helen Tauscher and Feinstein. Therefore Pelosi and Reid have repeatedly pushed legislation like “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” The Dream Act, H1-B Expansion all AgJobs. All bills that stoked fierce nationwide grassroots oposition among working Democrats, Republicans and Independents. One great big FU to the Lou Dobbs Independent, Reagan Democrat and Buchananite Republican vote.

Yes Hillary Clinton and Obama both supported the same legislation. However, Pelosi, Reid and Dean have together been in the forefront in turning the Democratic party away from being the party of the wage earner during the FDR New Deal era, back into the Cheap Labor party of Grover Cleveland which will always consider the demands of employers and upper professional and the investment classes for surplus labor over the the income and job security interests of average Americans.

Deep down Pelosi could give a rats ass if the party loses with Obama as long as She remains speaker. I think she may suspect that Hillary might a back move to elect a different speaker if elected.

Any Democratic politician with the interest of the American people at heart would have recognized that there were opportunities to pass major populist legislation by working with the Buchananite/Paleocon/Ron Paul factions of the Republican party. They would have worked to draw down the Iraq Occupation, end the Open Borders insanity and restore some basic fiscal responsiblity that would helped ease energy costs by cutting back the speculative hedging on oil against an increasing weak US dollar.

However, Pelosi is too much a upper class Left-wing San Fransciso Democrat and Open Borders idealogue to ever do such a thing.

Republicans 527s would love to tie Pelosi and Reid to Obama and basically sink down ticket Democrats this fall.

Comment by beebop | 2008-05-18 13:06:51

I am all for throwing Pelosi and Reid overboard. They have done a very poor job of reflecting what voters sent them there to do.

The clip reminds me why I stopped watching the McLaughlin Group. Is it really possible that Eleanor Clift can be so dense? Is she just reading from a script and simply playing the role of the hapless clueless Beltway Liberal?

Once again Buchanan is the voice of reason and sanity which in itself is pretty scary for Democrats.

Comment by Dawnelle | 2008-05-18 12:21:00

ya know a hundred years ago when he was running I ALMOST voted for him because of his BLUNT FRANKNESS!

I totally admire that. Unfortunately when I realized along with that honesty was the fact he’s too MUCH a bigot for me. I still admire him for his bluntness. You can TELL when he’s fibbing he starts laughing! And when he’s being honest he’s even MORE obvious.

Of course being honest as HE sees it. Which often correlates with how I see it. I like Pat. I don’t respect his bigoted ways sometimes but at least he’s honest about it and not pretending to be something he’s NOT.

Of course he’s not running for anything either.

Comment by ScottVA | 2008-05-18 12:24:16

You want to know why that is? The left liberals will argue anything even if it’s weak… where as McLaughlin and Buchanan argue on the facts and the rules that play along with them. Clift would try to say the White House was pink even if it was green… LOL

Comment by Catriley | 2008-05-18 12:24:20

Clift has to be an Obama supporter. She was completely irrational on that clip. I swear she actually said that “Obama is beating McCain in all the matchups!” in regard to polling. THat’s a lie. Obama comes in second to Hillary or McCain in all the polling. She and that Chicago Tribune guy were hilarious — “he didn’t campaign in West Virginia!” that Tribune guy kept saying that and refused to answer McLaughlin’s question about how many offices Obama had open there.

Comment by PssttCmere | 2008-05-18 13:02:51

Eleanor Clift has gone off the cliff…she is so in the bag for obama. She has said some other thing I have questioned lately also. I think the death of her husband has had quite an effect on her. Same with Mort Kondracke. He appeared pretty reasonable, then his wife died and he turned, and not for the better I might add.

Enormous resistance to the candidate of the Democratic Party

Well, shiver me timbers…I agree with Pat Buchanan!

It will be interesting to see if we have the same spin after Kentucky. We’ll see if they take the same race-baiting tack as post W.V.

Evidently, The Obama-Rama isn’t selling many tickets

Comment by kanaughty | 2008-05-18 15:37:10

his excuse for kentucky will be the fox news emails… and his excuse for oregon will be that in the end it wasn’t his demographic to win… he has an excuse for everything, when since everyone is saying he wins right now, he should be closing the deal and shutting her down, but he can’t … she is gaining momentum, while his wax job is fading…

Whats the superdelegate count for poor hillary since west virginia? ONE! LMAO!

How many superdels do you think she’ll get after beatin Obama in KY by 30 points? I’ll put the over/under at 1.

I bet that Obama will at least double her superdelegates after KY/OR on Tuesday.

POOR POOR HILLARY!

what troubles would it pose the Dems and would you vote for it. What say you.

Comment by karen for Clinton | 2008-05-18 14:44:58

well Kefa, I’ve thought about that. We all know Kerry offered the VP to McCain and that McCain is a centrist, and that obama has lied about McCain’s statements (and everything else, obama is just a fabrication and figment) and if the dems are dumb enough to ditch Clinton… well perhaps that would work out for the best.

and conveniently the dem con is 4 days before the rep con.

interesting idea.

it sure would beat any ticket with ob.

Don’t think the republicans would allow mac to put hill on top though! :-)

We need a way to get truth to the general population.
Every news channel is repeating that Clinton has no chance to win.
That she is just playing this out to the end, and then obama will be declared winner.

I guess what the mean is that the small number of cultists who own the party have more clout than the democratic majority.

Thanks! You’re so right. I just got off the phone with someone who isn’t tracking this, and she called to get my “take.”

This was a great discussion.

And it outlines the challenge to the DNC.

They have their heads in the sand. He is truly, truly not the nominee that has won the Democratic Party.

The DNC is wrong to back him. The SDs are wrong to back him.

And they will learn this when they have to brush up their resumes and go back to selling real estate, in a down market. :)

It is ridiculous to see Clift and that black guy repeat Obama talking points — more delegates, more states, the rules.. Do they want to win in November or not? They think we all automatically fall in line behind this charlatan. Are they really journalists with their ear to the ground? Did you see the disdain on Buchanan’s face as he watched Eleanor say more delegates and more states? I want to not vote for Obama just to see these assholes like Clift and others eat their words. Of course, I have more important reasons not to vote for their miserable candidate. But McLaughlin was right on the money. In fact, someone did the numbers a while ago and came up with an equivalence of 1.5 Obama delegate to get 1 Clinton delegate. Those numbers would have changed now but the fact remains that more people went to vote for Clinton to give her a delegate than Obama. Her delegate is worth more than a Obama delegate. His caucus wins mask his weaknesses which will come out in the GE if he is the nominee. Bizarre math, indeed.

Obama is simply incompetent. And responsible voters will not back him.

I personally think we’re all witnessing the end of the Democratic Party.

We’re making history here.

But our commitment to minority rights does NOT extend to electing incompetent minorities.

From Day 1, I have said that his weaknesses indicated that this had to be a race all about “appearance” and, therefore, would fail.

It is so plunging.

I hope our AA voters are ready to see this. It’s going to hurt like mad until they figure out why it’s plunging.

Comment by Lou | 2008-05-18 15:27:49

I agree. And the entire Democratic party is crumbling.

Those women who work the precincts in the years when it’s not “sexy?”

They are done. Outta there.

Let the “new” party figure it out

In the meantime, we’ll take our lifetime skill set and move on.

To a more respectful ground.

And with us goes our roledexes, our ability to pull together a rally, and our skills in talking to “soft” Democrats.

They are on their own for sure.

So far? That’s resulted in no money for the convention. :)

They have not hacked off Denver, the heartbed of Obama supporters.

Are they truly going to claim that Col will go blue?

*hahahahahaha

Not in your dreams.

Comment by Linda | 2008-05-18 13:38:36

BINGO! you hit the nail on the head

women drive and do the leg work for the dem party. the DNC screwed them and there is going to be payback

(of course, the AA also work as hard too)

The real rub comes from long time civil rights activists being called bigots by Obama and his campaign, the misogyny and the inability of Obama to actually articulate more than fluff.

the party is going to pay in November, their ticket is going to get punched by women. It isn’t about racism, it’s about misogyny that was allowed to run rampant in the MSM, DNC and the Obama campaign.

It ain’t about Hillary nearly so much as sending a clear message that this happens again to a female candidate at your peril.

Comment by Lou | 2008-05-18 13:45:16

The voters will decide in November. They are starting to make themselves heard now. If he can’t close the deal … and is in fact losing his key constiuencies in states that the Democratic candidate HAS TO WIN in November with Jay Rockefeller all but blessing him on stage, when the hell do people get the message? If Eleanor thinks that Obama = Clinton to Hillary’s supporters, she needs to revisit this campaign, starting in the weeks leading up to SC and ending with the day after WV … Obama is a no class candidate.

Comment by AnninCA | 2008-05-18 13:37:19

Rockefeller is a bit like Kennedy. They enjoy his influence but don’t like him, really.

But that’s not the real story.

The real deal?

This business of really not knocking her out is the real story.

The party is split. There is not hope for uniting it.

It’s ideological, not personality driven.

We have all just witnessed the end of the Democratic Party.

Amazing.

We’ll be talking about it for years to come.

Just amazing.

i agree anin with you. this is the end of the dem party because it is cut in half from this. the independent party is now going to be equal to the dem party if not even larger, so maybe they need to consider running real viable candidates and break the 2 party stranglehold… they would have to rethink the electoral college though because if there are 3 strong parties, maybe no one will win 270 votes…

It’s a distraction and an emotionalism ploy.

Comment by beebop | 2008-05-18 13:38:31

Racism is not a practice exclusive to the white blue collar worker. You can hear it in Reverend Wright’s tapes. Barack sat and heard it for 20 years. He’s the last person who should be talking about racism …. oh, but that’s how he got this far in the first place, I keep forgetting that without playing the race card and getting 90% of the AA vote, he’d be another John Edwards.

Comment by Lou | 2008-05-18 13:48:49

90% of the AA votes is not alot of votes.
49% of them actually vote-so 90% of 49% is what is really the vote count…
If a state has 10% AA that is not alot of votes.
Why hasn’t anyone looked at this?

Comment by Lou | 2008-05-18 16:49:04

It’s 50 to 100,000 votes depending on the state. Averaging 2M votes cast per state

Rev J Wright to me is still very much so aliveObama lied heard what he said then and heard what he said “DAM AMERICA.RICH WHITE PEOPLE.THE CHICKENS COMEING HOME TO ROOST”AND HILLARY CLINTO HAS NEVER BEEN CALLED A ____,Now what was that for?Obama claims he did not heard about it.As if his campaign would not call him and tell him.He only did what he did was because it may havbe bad for his campaign but didn’t when he thought it would blow over.Well it hasn’t to many!He didn’t when it came to america now did he.

I don’t trust him.I don’t like him,I will never give him my vote now or any other furture run!!!!!!

Howard Dean and pepis lady I call her will as well never get a vote from me or any support for the democrats.Senator Hillary Clinton is my choice but it will be John McCain and I then be a repub. It wasn’t senator Hillary Clinton who did the damage to the democrat party. It was Dean Howard, pepsi lady-MSNBC-NBC AND PRESS PRO-OBAMA. CHOOSE WHO YOU WANT AS YOUR VOTE BUT DON’T GO THROWING MUD INTO ONE OF THE BEST CANDIDAES WE HAD IN A LONG TIME.what you did is not only throw mud on senator hillary clinton you also throw it in the faces of her supporters and more.I don’t like having someone shoved down my throat!and I won’t take that bit I will spit it out and continue supporting the best to be our leader senator Hillary Clinton. And as to think that Obama thinks that he will get Hillary’s supporters it’s in far reach to get.And as they run the polls as they did in the past to ddetour peoples thinking..i don’t buy it.sorry but not really sorry.

NEVER WILL I VOTE OBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND YES I WILL NOT WATCH MSNBC NBC OR ANY OTHER NETWORK THAT’S CONNECTED WITH BISA AND EVIL PEOPLE

Several months ago when I became aware of the 24-hour pro-Obama propoganda coming out of the MSM I began asking the question “why?”. At no time did I believe it was just some frat-boy journalists with man-crushes on him.
Many people were saying cheerleading would switch to McCain as soon as Obie was the nominee, but I wasn’t so sure. Now it appears he is still their guy. Again, question is why.
I played with lots of reasons. One which I still think has some validity is to prevent Universal Healthcare for their big pharma and insurance company advertisers. Another is that he is the pro-corporate candidate anti-business regulation candidate. Another is that Bill Clinton ordered GE to clean PCBs out of Hudson River (which they still have not done), costing them millions of dollars, and they don’t want him or Hillary near the White House.
All of these reasons are probably part of it, but now I think I have hit on the number 1 reason. I just read a letter from Elme on Rezco-Watch which confirms exactly this idea.
When Gore was at energy hearings in Congress, every Republican who spoke said we had to end dependence on oil and find new “green” energy.
Every one of them touted nuclear energy very loud and clear. That will be their new cause and new money-maker over next twenty years. Nuke energy will bring in many billions of dollars, especially for General Electric (NBC companies) and Westinghouse (CBS stations) and all their pals.
There are now plans to build 29 new nuke plants. Gore said he did not think that was the best option, but Repubs pushed it some more.
They know their time with oil is pretty over. Windmills and other really green options won’t allow them to rob the people and make enough billions. So, lo and behold, let’s all bow down to nukes.
BTW, inhaling a small particle of plutonium is enough to cause lung cancer that kills in about a week. To say nothing of other radiation and water pollution as slower ways to suffer and die, including children. It’s just evil, just so a few can make more billions.
McCain is one of those clearly for nuke energy plants.
So is Barack Obama. He voted for Cheney energy bill. He enabled Exelon not to clean up its leaks in water mess in Illinois. He says he’s for nuclear energy.
That’s the biggest reason he’s their guy. It’s their new big thing. I wonder what all those anti-war Obama people would say if they knew this.
Hillary is not for nuclear energy as new energy source.

Hillary as third party candidate in 2008. Hillary as president 2008. She can win on Independent party ticket.

Finally a thinking person posts..
the noise on the blogs is incredible otherwise.

The above post is not assumption but reality.
It will pollut the earth in a short time..

One of the reasons HRC is pushing back so hard.

There is power in numbers if only people can stop being duped into the BS distractions and noise of “racism & sexism ..
“He said she said” attitude is not working..
We all need to push back against this evilness in a collective manner for our country and our families.

When pressed for Electoral College details, Obama staffers could offer no specifics on what the general election campaign plan might be. “We’re still working on that, but don’t worry,” a source* cites one staffer as saying; “we’ll come up with something.”*

Like lying, cheating, stealing, scamming…

There is so much distraction and lack of focus on the blogs. But the blogs are what bring people together.
They contain many who have bits an pieces to completing the entire puzzle. But the noise sepaerates the truthers from each other.,

Comment by Mr.Murder | 2008-05-18 14:14:00

“All of the EV bad news is more troubling is the admission by his team that he has no general election plan. This is a guy whose only “national” race was against a Republican was against Alan Keyes.

His campaign now is almost exactly the same as it was two months ago. Right down to bringing in John Edwards to prove he can reach out to working class voters just as he brought in Ted Kennedy to reach out to hispanics in California (many of whom, it should be noted are also working class voters). I have the feeling it will be about as successful. He’s the one who should be reaching out, but I don’t think he knows how. He’s alienated a lot of people he’s going to need in November and instead of moving to repair that damage, he seems intent on continuing to inflict it. I’m beginning to suspect he has no second act.

I should add that while I believe the party needs to usher Obama out of the race, I don’t think he has to quit anymore than Clinton does. She hasn’t been able to put him away either. Instead, the SDs will need to step in and do what’s right for the party.

Finally, I can’t help wondering how the popular vote plays into all of this. The Obama campaign seems terrified they aren’t going to win the popular vote (witness the hyperbole comparing the popular vote metric to voters’ heights). While I know the democratic leadership isn’t bound by it, I do think given the electoral reality you’ve laid out, it becomes very awkward for them to go with a weaker electoral college candidate who also lost the popular vote. Or, to put it another way, a popular vote win by Clinton would give SDs some political cover for going with her instead of Obama.”

I was thinking about John Edwards as I watched that video clip. You know… I supported Edwards in 2004, but I’m starting to question whether now, in 2008, he really DOES have that support of the blue collar workers that people assume he has.

I just don’t see blue collar workers suddenly decided Obama is on their side just because Edwards endorsed him this late in the game. Hillary still has the hearts and ears of the blue collar workers, and frankly… McCain has a lot of appeal to them (surely more than Obama or Edwards at this point.)

I think Edwards endorsement actually takes him down a peg with those voters, instead of lifting Obama up. Edwards waited too long, until people had already formed their opinions about Obama. There are few undecideds out there — so to the folks that used to support Edwards, I think they’d see it as more of a cheap shot against Hillary, than a reason to give Obama a second look.

Penn is the problem here. He is why I am so burned up. He sat on his fat ass and collected his fat pay that came out of poor people’s donations while our girl was stumping her brains out and being bamboozled by a crook.

He hired campign managers who never had any experience. Patty Solis whatever ring a bell?

What tics me off the most is that he was moonlighting. Now if you have ever had two jobs you know how they each suffer.

Continuing the thought on bizarre math, if Obamabots like Eleanor Clift repeat his talking that he won more states, here is my reply: If the number of states won is a legitimate metric, then why have elections in each state? Just conduct a poll, give the state to the candidate leading in the polls. Anyway Obama does not believe in working for every vote, he does not seem to respect the voters and trying to earn their votes. So we can save a lot of tax payer money by eliminating the primary elections and let us nominate the candidate who leads in the polls in more states. See how ridiculous that idea is in a democracy. Well, Obama minions are not short of coming up with ridiculous ideas in this election season.

Comment by Lou | 2008-05-18 14:40:48

Comment by Lou | 2008-05-18 14:52:04

This is the primaries. AMOUNT of states are not in play. IT’S REHTORIC. Usually the nominee is decided by very few of the 52 states. It’s never been an issue.

Comment by Mr.Murder | 2008-05-18 14:57:53

52, isn’t that more like 57 states?

Obama has done wonders for THE MATH.

Do you know how many states COMBINED have less population than California? 21 states + DC combined have a total population of less then one state California. 21 + DC < California. And guess who cleaned who’s clock in California?

we had that happen already on obama’s side when they tried to play the race card with the video of “the war room” and it was an obvious forgery, pennebaker came up with the original and proved it was a lie.

If you have an original, then contact somebody.

Oh, man, McLaughlin hit it on the mark about why the MSM is so dumbfounded by Hillary’s win: even they don’t understand the process.

The highlighting that Obama got more delegates with less votes based in caucus states says the most: he’s running on inflated delegate counts.

Even when he loses a state he continues to pick up delegates. If that’s not the pinnacle of liberal ideology — that everyone is equal even losers, to the extend of stopping sports in school, in case someone isn’t picked and how the poor kid’s esteem will suffer — nothing else is.

Sports teams don’t give the game to the losers.
Bidding on contracts, the losers go home empty handed.
Fail a test, and it’s over.

Only in Dem politics does a loser GAIN votes!

Dems you have to stop this stuff. Hillary should’ve cleaned house by now, simply by picking up all the large states. Republicans were over with their primaries months ago. No disputes. Fair and square. WINNER TAKES ALL — just like the GE.

Comment by Michelle Hates America! | 2008-05-18 15:47:47

Comment by Lou | 2008-05-18 16:24:43

This needs to be investigated. One of the questions is how many Delegates were allotted to begin with and How many were alloted to end with?
There has been evidence of Obama changing the total Delegate amount in the end. It’s very new news.

When Obama began running in Iowa, he did not know he was running for delegates. He thought it was the popular vote. They made fun of him on TV.

Furthermore: I do not see him as a representative of the AA community. The illiterate AA’s voting for him do not know he will abandon them.

This is an entire media narrative that has been in play since the 2006 mid-term elections. Before there was any campaigning, before there were any primaries and before the penalties on Florida and Michigan by the DNC. My family noticed that the show on MSNBC, Hardball lead each and every show with the name, Hillary. Hillary this or Hillary that. She wasn’t campaigning. There were lots of other issues discussed on the show. But we became aware that the sole purpose was to make people sick of hearing her name. Its called over exposure and every media person has to be careful of saturating the market because blow-back can result. Its a known marketing no-no. They’ve has this planned by the corporate media all along and Obama has played perfectly into their plan. Thats why there hasn’t been any vetting of him. Rev Wright was exposed on the internet. There has never been any revealing articles or expose or investigation of his policies, legislation, background. Its been total hearsay. The AA community is being used. The only hope for the developers, oil companies, tobacco companies, war profiteers is a president that can be controlled ala McCain, maybe Obama. How many times have you seen on TV Obama praising Donald Rumsfield and his direction of the war in Iraq. The tape exists but try to find it now. As Obama talks about his judgement against the war, don’t you think a media market might point to that speech of Obama praising Rumsfield’s work? The most reviled member of the Bush administration besides Dick Cheney.

Comment by Lou | 2008-05-18 16:18:08

Obama is in Cheney’s back pocket.

An Open Letter to: The DNC, Main Stream Media and Pundits, and Obama Supporters and Super Delegates.

It seems to me that you hear what you want to hear and you see what you want to see, but let me be extremely clear on what has gone on during this primary season and what will happen after it is over.
First of all to the Obama voters, I can’t speak for the White Obama voters someone else would have to speak to them. However, I can speak to the African American Voters because I am an African American. It is easy for you to try to justify 90-92% of you voting for Obama, but the truth is the truth, you are voting for Obama simply because he is an African American. Let me ask you a question, how many of you did what I did and researched both candidates equally? how many of you pulled down their policies and voting records and evaluated them against each other? How many of you sat down and thought about the things that are affecting you on a daily basis and then took a good solid look at both candidates and made a decision? How many of you if your life or the life or your children depended on it can easily list two or three bills that Obama has voted on or written? How many of you know his stance on Healthcare, the Economy, and Education? If your life depended on it right now today how many of you know exactly what Barack Obama stands for. How many of you know what the change is that he has promised? If your life depended on it could you explain what the Change actually is? I say this because I find it offensive that my own friends, family members and co-workers choose to call me a sell out because I am a Hillary Clinton Supporter and I simply say to them. “I am not interested in making History. I am interested in the future of this country that my nine year old child will grow up in period”. I’ve done the homework, I’ve made a decision and I’m sticking to it. It offends me even more when fellow African Americans feel that it is ok to walk up to me on the street or at my Childs school and say to me “so do you think he’s gonna do it, do you think Obama is going to win” what makes them think first of all that I am an Obama Supporter? and when I tell them I am not why do they have the audacity to say to me “ come on sister we owe it to him” how can you just assume because I am an African American that I will automatically vote for Barack Obama?. Ask yourselves the tough questions, step back and take a good look at yourselves and see what you come up with. To those supporters who have been so vile and disrespectful to Senator Clinton, you are the reason why the party is being torn apart, and it shows your lack of knowledge in what your candidate stands for, because according to him, he is the great unifier, but his followers seem to be the great dividers, all you have to do is take a look at the blogs. Debating the issues is one thing, but vile personal attacks and nasty rhetoric is a sign of the characters of those who support him, which says to me if he were to be elected to office you would not hold him accountable, you would continue to bury your heads in the sand. How can you Unify a country when you continue to use the Race Card, everytime someone disagrees with Senator Obama, they are labeled racist. His Administration would be mired in constant back and forth about race, if you don’t agree or you speak out against him you will be considered racist, this is what type of White House we would have and nothing would get done, very similar to the Bush White House, where people were labeled unpatriotic if they did not agree with the war. Look at the similarities!!

To Senator Obama: Your arrogance is not becoming, the way that you talk down to people is not attractive, you are asking us to put you in charge of the people of the United States of America, but yet you act as if you are Superior to us. You take us for fools, by expecting us to believe that you had no knowledge of what your Pastor was preaching for 20 years. You expect us to believe that you and your campaign did not inject race into this campaign, but those of us who viewed this primary with clear open eyes, know what you have done and we will have our voices heard in November. It’s not your race take it from me I’m a sister, it’s your lack of substance and your ability to come up with your own views and your own policies and we will be heard in November. You are supposed to be a Uniter, but you have caused more division in this country than I have seen in the past 30 years.
To Senator Clinton: I support you 150%; I know in my heart of hearts that you are truly a champion for the people. I have known your work. I have researched your policies, I have watched you during this campaign, in times of trouble you are the one that I would want to have my back, because I know that you would go down fighting for us. Thank you for your body of work for the American People, though it may not feel as though they appreciate it right now, those children that have healthcare because of you Thank you, those women that are able to spend time with their children after their birth or those children who are able to take time off of work to take care of their elderly parents without worrying about losing their jobs due to your hard work on FMLA Thank you, the people of New York Thank you. This country is lucky to have a fighter like you, although they don’t deserve it. Thank you for your brilliance.
To the Main Stream Media and Pundits, you chose to praise this unknown man without thoroughly vetting him and now it’s too late, you I hope will take full responsibility for this, when he tanks this country. You all don’t even have the common decency to act as if you are trying to be fair and balance, Chris Matthews cannot stop salivating over Obama, Tim Russett seems as if he just gets angry every time Hillary wins, his eyes just bugs out of his head and Oberman he is an island all by himself, need I say more all of the networks are at fault here, but MSNBC is the most blatant. It is a sad thing for me to say that I have gotten all of my fair and balanced news from Fox News Network, which is totally unbelievable. It amazes me how the African American Pundits just defend Obama to no end, it is so very obvious that they are in the tank, that it is embarrassing. You have assailed Hillary Clinton and tried to make a Mockery out of Bill Clinton, you along with Barack Obama and his camp have made the case that Bill Clinton is somehow a Racist because he said something that was totally true, because of your dislike for the Clintons you have trashed them constantly and you are the ones that started the whole “The Clintons” I don’t see Bill Clinton’s name on the ballot, it is totally disrespectful the way that you have treated “President” Clinton and “Senator” Clinton, absolutely no respect. You have failed the American People and it will come back to haunt you; let me see you spin the disaster which is Barack Obama. And you often wonder why the International Community has no respect for us.
To the DNC: For 22 years I have been a loyal member of this party from the age of 18, a party that I thought was the party of the people, but I now see that you all are nothing but the good old boys club. You have totally thrown Senator Clinton under the bus, someone who has been loyal to this party and fought for this party, someone who has shown so much strength and passion for the people; because you cannot break away from the good old boys club. It took this long Primary season to see just how flawed and undemocratic your system really is. First of all you penalize the American People the voters for what their legislators did, you didn’t have the common sense to say ok we will fine the Michigan and Florida Democratic Party for Moving up their primaries, but you chose to take away their right to have their votes counted, how undemocratic is that at a time when we have soldiers coming home in body bags because they are fighting in a country to give others the right to simply vote. Yes the candidates agreed, but why should they have had to in the first place, no one had the common sense to say that we cannot disenfranchise millions of Americans? You have a system where someone can win an entire state and come out with only 10 or 13 delegates more that the person that lost, how is that Democratic, that means that the notion of one man one vote is not the what this party runs off of. You have a system of Caucuses, which does not allow for elderly and hardworking Americans to participate in, is that democratic?, You put Super Delegates in place to make decisions and vote how they wan to, but mid game because it does not benefit the candidate that you want, you strong arm them into voting how you want them to vote. This is the party of the people? You have a system where you have a number of 2025 delegates, yet neither candidate has reached that mark, but you declare a winner and then the good old boy network decide that they will come out in droves to back him up, even though millions have not voted, so then you are saying that the Super Delegates make the decisions? Which is it?

To the Super Delegates: There is something to be said about Character and what I have seen in the last couple of month has no signs of it. For those of you who backed Hillary Clinton in the beginning and then felt it necessary to throw her under the bus when she was behind in the delegate count or was being declared down and out by the pundits, you are the reason why the Democratic Party is divided; those types of antics are unprofessional and disingenuous. It’s one of two things, you were backing her because you thought she would win, or you backed her because you believed in her candidacy, her policies and what she stood for, and if it was the latter no matter what the numbers said or what the Pundits said you would stick with her, it’s called courage and conviction something that her true supporters have shown, for those African American Super Delegates who have been threatened and brow beaten by your fellow African American Colleagues, Talk Radio and constituents, thank you for having a back bone and standing up for what you believe in, that is what true Character is all about. I suspect that those turn coats will hear from their constituents in the future. Jumping on the winning bandwagon does not take any effort but standing firm to your convictions takes everything.

What will happen next, the Pundits, the DNC, Barack Obama Supporters have all said, “oh, people are just saying that they will vote for McCain or stay home in November but that will not happen the party will come together”. Understand this loud and clear. We did not vote for Hillary Clinton because she is a woman, We did not vote for Hillary Clinton because she is White, we voted for Hillary Clinton because we felt that she was the best person for the job and that she would fight for the people of this country. We did not vote against Barack Obama because he is an African American or because he is a Man, we voted against him because we felt that he was not the right person for the Job, we feel that he is not experienced enough, we feel that he is not honest about the way that he feels about this country, we feel that he has no substance, we feel that he give great speeches but has no back to them , we feel that he goes on the defense when he is questioned about his policies and his way of thinking. What makes you think that this has or will change? We will not vote for Barack Obama, we will take our chances with John McCain, at least we know that he loves this country without a doubt, at least we know that he has the National Security Background in the event of any issues, at least we know that he has a record of reaching across the aisle even at the dismay of his party. We know absolutely nothing about Barack Obama. We will not vote for him, no matter how you wave it off or dismiss what we would or would not do, it will not happen, common sense tells us that in the next four years nothing but clean up will take place, I will take my chances with someone that I know where he is coming from as opposed to someone who has shown no substance, only the promise of Change in Washington, someone who is supported by all of the very Washington Insider that he chastise, someone that will be so indebted to the old Washington Insiders he won’t know which way is up. Now you ponder that, Pundits say what you must for ratings and see what happens in November and by the way. If an when Hillary Clinton gives her Concession speech, it will be the last time that we will watch the mainstream media again until election night, no convention, no commentary, no Sunday shows, we are not interested in the Dog and Pony show that the Democrats will make Hillary Clinton perform for the so called good of the party after the party turned their backs on her, a total media blackout!! We love Hillary, but we will not vote for Obama because she asks us too, we are not robots and we will not drink the Kool-Aid, keep this in the bank until Election Day.

Sincerely,

An Ex-Democratic Voter

To quote Oprah herself on behalf all all AA”s
“I am not only a black women, but a FREE black woman.”
perhaps using this quote may suffice when they assume you are ready to go over the cliff with him.

Obama HAS NOT FOOLED all AA’s like he fooled Oprah.

thanks for sharing your letter. i have written about 3 similar letters to them. i don’t know if they ever see any of these, but at least we have tried to tell them they are in trouble in nov if they insist on not listening and not nominating the right person for the job… :)

thanks for sharing your letter. and as the other person said, I too have written them a few times after things happened in this contest that were so wrong I couldn’t remain silent.

I always feel better when I let off stream, even if the DNC isn’t listening.

I think the money he received is a trick too.

I also why no one has cared to notice the non-binding primaries in caucuses states that ended in a tie. These are the states that obama won in the caucuses 2 to 1 . So the caucuses aren’t representative or the primaries show buyers remorse. These are states that Obama thinks he can turn blue. At this point he is tied with Clinton..so how is going to change them if he can’t convince a majority of democrats of his divine greatness in a non-binding primary vote?

Obama has serious problems and him jumping up and down declaring himself king for the day is going to make him look foolish. He has bamboozled people up until Super Tuesday and it has been down hill ever since.

Comment by Lou | 2008-05-18 18:48:05

he won 2 to 1 because he threw her votes in the trash, gave Hillary voters fake pens callingthem “invisible ink” and more.
He has not votes. It’s a fantsy.

Comment by Lou | 2008-05-18 18:52:51

He didn’t WIN caucuses 2 to 1. He stole the caucuses. Hillary votes were thrown in the trash or written with the invisible ink pens..In WA precincts reported 20 obama 0 Hillary…not possible that Hillary would get 0. I’m not from there though I was involved in witnessing the horror of it.

The only thing Obama really has that HRC doesn’t, is the Washington political media insiders. There’s teh answer why the media disregarded WVA.

We’ve got to stay strong and keep telling the truth. Obama’s delegate lead is a false indicator of what is happening for many Americans. Clinton wins the map, and we have to keep pushing this truth forward. Time is our friend. More and more “stuff” is coming out on Obama, and Hillary just needs to hang in there. I truly believe, that I will be casting my vote for Hillary in November. Obama’s chickens are coming home to roost.

I’m so sick of hearing Obama whine that people who don’t like him “don’t know him.” No, it’s the opposite – the more people learn about him, the less they like of him. Note that most of his primary victories came in the early weeks, before anyone knew about Jeremiah Wright, Ayers, Rezko and Michelle Obama’s hatred of her own country. The media sold us this phony image of Obama as a true, “post-racial” patriot and lots of Dem voters in January and February fell for it. Then in March the truth finally started coming out and look at the difference. He’s not just losing the white vote, he’s getting absolutely hammered. (And Hispanic and Asian voters aren’t exactly flocking to him either.) The guy’s getting weaker as time goes on, not stronger. Screw the idiotic delegate rules, which are nothing like the November general election ones. DUMP HIM ALREADY.

Comment by Lou | 2008-05-18 18:59:01

Mary,
LOL
the more they know him the less they like him

RE:”Note that most of his primary victories came in the early weeks, before anyone knew about”
Yes. Before the HRC campaign was alerted to the many voter irregularities. Before Super Tuesday

To Hey You Guys upthread:

If you state those in WV are racists, what are the 80-90% of blacks who voted for Obama? At least there is a history with Hill, who’s this guy who came through the combine like a shot? As they say in Chi-town, ‘I don’t want nobody, nobody sent’.

I suggest you re-read his books (where he contradicts himself), and go to the southside to see what he did and didn’t do… who bought him and who got paid through contracts.
