Barack Obama has ordered his faithful to “be nice to Clinton supporters“!!! Are you not excited about this??? Everybody can line up and fall into place now and join the Hope-y Change-y Train! We know from past experience that he’s an honest and sincere man who never lies and isn’t a bigot, so let’s get with the program! There’s no reason why we shouldn’t trust him, right? Right?
Seriously, what is it with this clown? Is it that he just doesn’t get it — or is it that he gets it but enjoys pretending that he doesn’t get it? Does he have a missing comprehension gene or something? Is he a member of DENSE-A? What?
How delusional is it for Barack Obama to imagine that all it takes to whip those girls and hicks and other useless people into shape is to make Nicey-Nicey, now that he needs us? Do you think maybe somebody counted up those beans and said, “Whoa Barry! You’ve got a problem! We just added up all the African Americans, College Professors, College Students, Old Hippies Still on The Bong and terrorists who aren’t in jail—and um….Barry? Even if they all vote twice which is possible if the Mayor of Gary IN does the counting, you’re in trouble, man! You better go do Nicey- Nicey right now!”
How funny is this guy? He and his surrogates have insulted millions of Women, Jews, Gays and Lesbians, Italians, Blue Collar workers, Democrats Who Prefer Democracy to Marxism, “Bitter Hicks,” Seniors, everybody in Michigan and everybody in Florida. And that’s the short list. Yet, he somehow fantasizes that he can wave his Hopey Changey Magic Eraser or something, and they will not only forget, but they will just fall at his feet once he declares himself The President.
Is this just plain surreal or what? Here’s the most frightening part of what might be headed our way, fellow bitches: I read somewhere, or maybe I saw it on one of those hallucinating news channels, that Barry should use Michelle to reach women. Think about that for a second, sisters.
Michelle is going to reach out and just….well….heal our female souls. After all, we all want to be just like Michelle, don’t we? Just listening to her bitch and moan about how we should just give them the Presidency hard it is to run for President, and watching her exude that contagiously endearing Gospel Of Misery should cure us, don’t you think?. Between Michelle and Barry, do you not imagine that these two arrogant snobs in the White House would constitute the most depressing and out-of-touch Presidency in your lifetime, George Bush only possibly notwithstanding?
But wait! There’s more! So that we might start heeling “healing” faster, and as if we hadn’t already thought we’ve seen Barack Obama reach the pinnacle of Audacity Of Arrogance, he is also planning to officially declare himself the Democratic nominee on Tuesday, May 20. That’s right. On May 20, Barack Obama is going to throw a big huge “victory” bash and say Look! I just got my butt handed to me on a plate in Kentucky. I’m the Winner! I’m the Winner!
Well, of course he can declare himself The Winner! You could declare yourself the winner too if you made sure that two swing states’ votes were not counted, and then make damned sure that neither state was allowed to re-vote. I mean why bother with voters’ rights when you know you are dealing with two states that would kick your a$$ back to Pakistan Chicago if you let them near a voting booth? Why take the chance, when you can just remove two entire states from the primary? I mean it’s not as if you would look like a cheater or anything……
Barack Obama may get away with declaring himself the nominee of 48 states, because who’s going to dare stop him, right? But what I really want to know is what are his campaign people taking? I want some! Has nobody explained to this man-child that in order to become a President, a person has to participate in an actual nominating process? And after that, he has to participate in, you know, a General Election? Did somebody at least tell him it’s not a big caucus and the kids in the buses can’t scare old and disabled people without getting arrested? Did anybody try to at least take him aside and explain that Florida and Michigan voters, and all those other useless people he ticked off, are going to get another chance and that they just might not be in the mood to vote for him–with or without his Nicey-Nicey campaign? Is there some kind of parallel universe happening over at the Obama homestead?
Yes there is! As Obama has stated ad-nauseum, he is “confident” that we will all “come together” for November. And just to help us all “heal,” he is moving ahead with his “Be Nice To Clinton Supporters” program.

Fox morning news show quoted Gerri Ferraro as saying SHE did not think she could vote for obama……he was to much of a mysoginist….

I was impressed with Ferraro. She’s shown a lot of courage lately speaking the truth.
I’m not voting for Obama. We just had a pompus ass who liked to run around declaring mission accomplished. I seem to remember he also suffered from electile dysfunction. There’s no need to count the votes, just declare me king.
I’m personally in the camp that dislikes the mixing of religion and politics, so the flier is off-putting to say the least to me. The Compassion forum was interesting and respectful, but I liked Hillary’s frankness that she considered this to be a private matter. I do, too.
The supposed intention of this flier is to set aside the notion that he’s a Muslim radical. I get the overt purpose. But honestly, this is the 3 or 4 campaign visual image that has him posing as a spiritual mentor.
One of the reasons his campaign bothered me from the start was the mixing of politics and a kind of new age spiritual message of vagueness and emotionalism that really seemed highly manipulative. It still does.
But then, I don’t agree with Obama that our souls need healing or that any politician has any business rooting around in that part of my life. I hadn’t realized at the time that this was all coming from the theology he embraces. Now I “get” it. I just thought that it was a very victim-like stance to believe that people need to be “healed.”
The directive to “be nice” to Hillary supporters, I guess, is in response to the outcry that his supporters have been boorish and off-putting. It’s entirely too late, however, to rein in the masses. He’s set them on caucuses like dogs, enflamed them to wild booing against Hillary, incited them to threaten the public with promises of riots, and that type of irresponsible bully pulpit energy is now loose on the country. There’s no way to rein it in.
Obama, like many of the evangelical ministers, has a highly irresponsible streak in him in this regard.
I fail to see how someone with the maturity of a 12 year old ever expects to be handed over control over “the button.”

I don’t know if you are just kidding but, the Obama chocolate references are disturbing. I don’t particularly like Hilary and would only vote for her if she were the nominee. But Barrack will be the nominee. She can’t catch up in pledged delegates. Now she is losing the fight with the supers. Even if you add MI and FL in toto she can’t when, because there are no winner take all primary’s. They are apportioned by vote counts. He will still get delegates even when he loses by 35 points or 40 points. The way she got delegates when she lost by 20 to 40 points on Super Tuesday.
Any Democrat that states he would vote for McLame or stay home is no Democrat.
And I will check back after the primaries to see if the tone of this site has changed. I loved this site when it went after Republicans and the failures of the intelligence issues about Iraq.

The Obama camp told a Politico reporter today that he would not be declaring victory tomorrow because it may make him apppear presumptuous or antagonistic toward Hillary Clinton.
He plans to walk right up to the line without explicity going over it even though he says he believes he will have enough pledged delegates.

Ditto for me. As for who I’ll vote for in the Fall, I’m still mulling it over. However, the reasons I was never an Obama supporter are still true today. His resume is entirely too weak for the job. “Operation Turndown” has no headquarters or mailing address. We offer no coffee mugs, bumper stickers or T-shirts for sale. You cannot contribute cash or deduct your investment in tomorrow from you federal income tax.
But “Operation Turndown” is no mirage.
The voice of a movement that got underway last week on WILK News Radio belongs to all Democrats who refuse to do as we’re told and vote for Barack Obama if he receives the party nomination for president.
If Obama’s the chosen one, we’re turning him down.
Count us out.
Countless Democrats, men and women alike, have come to the realization that Hillary Clinton is the best candidate to receive the party’s nomination. The senator from New York is the strongest Democrat to face Republican John McCain and his well-oiled war machine in November.
But too many good old boy bosses don’t see it that way. They expect loyal party followers to do as they’re told. They expect the mostly women who voice outrage at the abuse leveled at Hillary by mostly male political bosses and mostly male media motor mouths to just shut up and vote.
Women have betrayed Hillary as well.
A whole new generation of young women who have no sense of the sacrifice that took place before they were out of diapers have signed on to the anti-Hillary assault as well. Sadly, even some of them sneer at the sexist portrayals of this woman who sacrificed for them and did her best despite harsh odds to bring equity to the workplace, the home and the country.
Last Friday women from all over the nation called “Corbett” to share their anger, their frustration and their commitment to fight absurd accusations hurled by some Obama supporters that they’re racist if they do not vote for Obama.
They called to enlist in the movement to stand on the very principles that sent them into the streets as organizers and activists for Democrats in election after election, year after year after year.
Now, like Hillary, they, too, feel abused.
And they’ve had enough.
If Democratic bosses believe they can win in November without Hillary, they have to do it without countless Hillary supporters who have made the Democratic Party the true party of change it is today.
This is dangerous territory for bosses who usually expect women to do as they’re told. After all, many women have been content in the past to follow their dream that one day their turn would come. Their turn has come. It’s here and the moment is long overdue. Hillary is their one-and-only Democrat.
Hillary is my Democrat, too. I’m with her to the end. If she wins the nomination, she wins the White House. If party bosses don’t agree, they’re on their own.
When I left the station last Friday night, I had received well over 200 deeply personal and well-thought-out emails. I received calls on the air from all over the country and calls off the air from as far away as New Delhi, India. The mostly women callers wanted to know how to join Operation Turndown. They wanted to know where they could contribute. They wanted to know how to spread the word that we will turn down Obama.
Some powerful people even suggested that I head up a national movement with a web site and an address and appearances all over the country. But although an organized and unified voice that Democratic Party bosses ignore is very much needed, I must humbly decline.
I’m just a news talk radio guy from Scranton. I’ll continue to do what I do as best as I can for as long as I can. But I hope that somebody among the many clear, strong voices of the mostly women whom I heard last week picks up the “Operation Turndown” banner and raises it for the whole world to see.
You have my blessing and my support.
Organized or not, “Operation Turndown” lives in the heart of anyone who sees this elegant political hustle for what it is – a dangerous maneuver orchestrated by the party elite to take care of themselves at everybody else’s expense. Operation Turndown will continue in every town and every city where women are taken for granted.

I have never been a feminist or at least not an activist feminist, but this campaign has chilled me to my bones. Too see the degree of misogyny expressed and the lack of any pretext to hide it has been appalling. For me this campaign is no longer about Democrats taking back the White House; it’s about women standing up and demanding to be treated with respect.
Even if this campaign hadn’t devolved into a woman hating contest, I would not have voted for Obama. He’s not qualified, his lack of foreign experience and weakness as a leader will put this country at risk, and he has built a career around accomplishing nothing which is exactly what he’ll accomplish as President. Obama has no indention of forging real change – universal health insurance is a nonstarter, remember? And revising NAFTA is off the table; just campaign rhetoric. Further, I don’t trust Obama. He talks out of both sides of his mouth and I think he owes a lot of favors that are not in the interests of the American people or progressive causes.
By contrast McCain is not McSame. McCain has a proven record of standing up to his own party and fighting for issues that matter to Americans. Ironically, McCain, a Republican, is better poised to advance progressive issues than Obama – like immigration reform, environment concerns and maybe even health care. With Hillary, Biden and the many other capable and committed Democratic members of the House and Senate in control of Congress, a McCain presidency could possibly accomplish more than even a HRC presidency because McCain will be better positioned to bring Republicans on board. And, importantly, McCain will keep this country safe - saber-rattling is not warmongering, it is necessary component of national security. Of course, my opinion of McCain is conditional. If he makes a hard right or neocon turn or appoints a white male as his running mate, I may just sit this one out.
But if HRC is not the Democratic Nominee and McCain stays true to himself, I will actively campaign for McCain against Obama - not just for the good of the country, but for women. If we women allow ourselves to be treated the way we have been treated in this campaign, if we allow a woman candidate like HRC to be dumped on by the Media like she has been, if we allow the DNC to trash the more qualified and more electable candidate because she’s a woman - without any consequences - women will be taking a giant step backward.
We have a voice, let’s use it. The DNC has shown no respect for women, the MSM has shown nothing but disrespect for women; they need to be taught a lesson.

Dear all,
I was just wondering if you had noticed the recent Supreme Court decision against the WOMAN who brought a pay discrimination lawsuit. This held in a 5-4 decision that the plaintiff, though she proved that the discrimination existed, was intentional and based on gender was not allowed to recover because she had failed to bring her claim within 90 days of her first discriminatory paycheck even though she had no way of knowing that the company was discriminating at that time. This overturned previous rulings which held that each discriminatory paycheck is itself a violation of the law and the 90 days would therefore renew with each paycheck. So, to recap, and correct me if I’m wrong but John McCain has made judicial appointments one of his selling points and has stated that he would appoint conservative judges like the ones who made this intentionally insulting and mind bogglingly unjust decision, the employer can pay you whatever the hell he likes, even if he would pay a man more, as long as he can keep you from finding out for 90 days. What good is the legislation then that makes this discrimnatory action illegal? The court, by a procedural ruling has essentially gutted it and if the GOP can retain just 41 seats in the Senate that will remian the law.
Ladies, keep your eyes on the prize please. Obama’s wife is a lawyer and she would kill him if he appointed judges like this even if he wanted to which I don’t think he does. And I also love it when Scalia goes on 60 minutes and states that torture and punishment are not the same. Therefore the Constitution will prohibit cruel punishment but not torture. Uh-huh. Is this the kind of court you want interpretting our laws for the next 30 years. One more or less run by Scalia. In light of these FACTS, what is the serious point gotten across by hopey-changy train? No really, what?
