That does make sense. Rereading the quote, it does sound a lot like Jimmy Carter. The ideas are good and noble, but it was said in a bumbling way that will cause people to recoil by reflex. Surprise! She did not expect the party to betray the only democrats that have won the White House for them in 28 yrs. Many of these people wouldn’t have jobs if it weren’t for the Clintons. Who would expect they’d back another loser like Obama? Ironically, the party that shows this much loyalty to the Clintons (and to MI and FL) is the one touting the fact that we should be loyal to the party.

Nancy, you know the irony here? You constantly question my motivation, just like the MSM always do with Hillary! Now I know how she must feel. No one will accept that she takes a position because she actually believes it is the best course. Right now, I’m having a lot of trouble believing you don’t work for McCain for Karl Rove. Aside from shady personal associations, you haven’t explained how McCain has better policy ideas or will sign/veto/nominate better than Obama. As a Hillary precinct captain and progressive doctor who supports universal care, how could I possibly support Obama over Hillary — stop questioning my motivation. This is sad. Over the past several months I’ve said on many occasions, regarding many topics, “Hillary supporters are better than that.” You make me think that generalization is false.

Same thing! And I don’t believe you’re not working for the Obama campaign, either. If you had done your homework on Obama and truly wanted what’s best for this country, you would agree that while McCain is not the first choice, he is the only one. Go back to your boss and tell him we mean business. We will not only vote for McCain, but we will contribute to his campaign, and spend as much time campaigning for him as we have for Clinton. Don’t believe it at your peril. The DNC can expect a mass exodus from the Democratic party come November. It can disband for all we care. They’ll never get another penny from us.

I didn’t bother? Please explain how you know so much about me. You apparently know lots of things I didn’t know about myself — such as my love for Obama and how his campaign is paying me. News to me. I know exactly who and what Obama is because I’ve also done my own vetting. I know he would not be as good of a president as Bill, but better than any Republican in my lifetime.
