Bill Ayers and The Subversion Of Education

As we all know by now, Bill Ayers, unrepentant Weather Undergound leader and terrorist, is a Professor of Education. Funny, how Barack Obama called him a Professor of English. Obama certainly knows what Bill Ayers teaches, since he has been in his company during campus presentations. I guess Barack thought a Professor of English isn’t quite as dangerous to young minds as a Professor of Education can be. I mean, Mr. Ayers educates future educators–who in turn shape young peoples’ minds.

It has already been shown that the Ayers-Obama relationship is far closer than Barack Obama’s lie casual rendition of a friendship that goes back further than a decade.

SusanUnPc has already shown us a recent photo of Ayers stomping on an American flag. NQ’s story was also covered by Hannity on Fox. At this point, I think it’s pretty safe to say that we all have a better chance of seeing God than we have of seeing this photo displayed on CNN or MSNBC.

The interesting thing is that the flag isn’t the only thing Ayers and Dohrn are stomping on. They are also stomping on American Education and influencing the thought processes of future teachers.

In most educational quarters, a person with Ayers’ and Dohrn’s background would never be allowed to teach in a public school. Recently a public school teacher was fired for wearing a bikini at a second job. So, as you can see, most public school districts are pretty serious about the character of teachers.

Apparently this is not a theme that is important to the University of Illinois at Chicago, where Professors of Education get the privilege of influencing the thought of future teachers. The university is referred to as “a hotbed for the radical education professoriate”. But then again, it is Chicago.

According to Barack Obama’s website, “Ayers is a tenured professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a ‘respected advisor’ to Mayor Daley on School Reform“. I know all of us can rest easily knowing that a fine upstanding unrepentant former terrorist has a hand in “school reform”. Well, you might rest easily, but I won’t.

Let’s examine what Bill Ayers’ office door looks like.

Yes, this is Bill Ayer’s office door.

No kidding.

I didn’t make this up.

Fortunately, I am not charged with the task of analyzing and summing up his office door up in one sentence. Jim Geraghty did it for me. He called it a “Where’s Waldo of lefty radicalism“. And I think he’s right.

I would describe the image as a Where’s Waldo of lefty radicalism. There’s at least three pictures of Malcolm X, a cartoon of a smiling police officer saying, “I’m going to kick your [tushie] and get away with it.” A Red Star, an Amnesty International sticker, a Mumia Abu-Jamal picture, a picture of a bomb dropping on the Gaza Strip.
Geraghty wasn’t sure what “ABU-ZAYD” was referring to, so he did the wise thing and asked readers if they knew what this means. He got answers:

A lot of readers are sending me information on Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd, an Islamic theologan. But the more likely answer
is found on
another photo in that Tribune collection, where
the caption depicts a young couple with a child between them: “Bill Ayers walks with wife, Bernardine Dohrn, and their son, Zayd Dohrn, 4, outside a federal courtroom in New York circa 1982.” Abu is Arabic for “father of.”

It does appear as though Bill Ayers’ politics hasn’t changed much since his Weather Underground days.

He still boasts about working full-time to bring down American capitalism and imperialism. This time, however, he does it from his tenured perch as Distinguished Professor of Education at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Instead of planting bombs in public buildings, Ayers now works to indoctrinate America’s future teachers in the revolutionary cause, urging them to pass on the lessons to their public school students.

Ayers’ texts on the imperative of social-justice teaching are among the most popular works in the syllabi of the nation’s ed schools and teacher-training institutes. One of Ayers’s major themes is that the American public school system is nothing but a reflection of capitalist hegemony. Thus, the mission of
all progressive teachers is to take back the classrooms and turn them into laboratories of revolutionary change.

As Ayers puts it in one of his course descriptions, prospective K-12teachers need to “be aware of the social and moral universe we inhabit and . . .be a teacher capable of hope and struggle, outrage and action, a teacher teaching for social justice and liberation.”

Apparently, Barack Obama has no problem with Ayers agenda for the children of America, just like he has no problem with Bill Ayers as a terrorist who still thinks he hasn’t “done enough”. In fact, Bill Ayers’ agenda has become quite influential in the American educational system.

Ayers’s influence on what is taught in the nation’s public
schools is likely to grow in the future. Last month, he was elected vice president for curriculum of the 25,000-member American Educational Research Association (AERA), the nation’s largest organization of education-school professors and researchers. Ayers won the election handily, and there is no doubt that his fellow education professors knew whom they were voting for. In the short biographical statement distributed to prospective voters beforehand, Ayers listed among his scholarly books Fugitive Days, an unapologetic memoir about his ten years in the Weather Underground. The book includes dramatic accounts of how he bombed the Pentagon and other public buildings.

Remember, we are talking about the influence upon the teachers of America’s children. It is one thing to be liberal or “progressive,” whatever that even means anymore, now that the term has been sullied by radical nutcases. It is quite another thing to have an agenda that undermines everything that America stands for–including democracy– and replace it with crash and burn hatred.

Considering the display on Bill Ayers’ office door, I would say he has a great start at turning America’s children into well-trained Anti-American radicals just like himself, wouldn’t you? Yet Barack Obama has given further credibility to this man through his ongoing relationship with him.

It’s just plain amazing what terrible things a man with lofty personal political ambitions will dismiss for the sake of garnering favor with people who have strong influence in Chicago, isn’t it? No wonder Obama didn’t denounce Ayers and Dohrn. He can’t. Ayers is too great a part of his sudden political rise. So Obama not only has no problem hanging out with a terrorist who helped him rise, he doesn’t mind if the same guy is proudly poisoning America’s children with his own violent brand of “social justice and liberation” either. That’s Chicago politics for you. And nobody exemplifies Chicago politics better than Barack Obama.

He will be held accountable on all those issues, the sooner the best.

NOW,…

Please the media is again trying by blowing the smoke ball that Hillary might be looking for a meeting with Barracka as to cut a deal by her becoming the VP, the media and the DNC, now is trying to humilliate us by saying, look now if she accepts running as the VP you will have to vote for Barracka since he is in the ticket. They insist in viewing us as ‘fanatics’, no from my part I am not, I will not vote for Barracka no matter with whom he runs. That man is a corrupted criminal, opportunist, trained in how to manipulate politics, the electorate and people. I will not feel the obligation of voting for him because Hillary is in the ticket, if they do that, adding to it, that Bill Clinton advised her to accept the VP nomination, then I will be disappointed, Bill has nothing to do with her decisions. She has to prove that he will not be an influence in her, we want her to fight till the end. Let’s hope is the press trying to sell advertising with empty news…And only she as the nominee for President I will cast my vote, period.

If by then, she has a ‘criminal case completed’ for Barracka, put that man in jail or remove him from politics or then in October she might be the nominee by default, if that ‘idiotic meme’ is still around. I am sorry but I will abstain of voting, if for some evil ‘powerful reason’, this ODINGA-OBAMA with their black magic rituals done in Africa, and they know they did it, receive another free pass of not being found guilty of ‘all the acussations against him’.

Remember Barracka, we too will protect her from evils like you, we will stand by her, we were sent to fight for her. And we are for ‘real’, your people might try to scare with your ‘black thing’ those who follow her, this is her time Barracka, mother Earth celebrates her, will shake its foundations again if it has to do so, nor you and your people attempt to do with her, like it was done to Benazir Butto, and whatever comes to your afliction, only you has bring it upon you and those who betrayed and humilliated her and Chelsea will know, that Hillary was the one ‘chosen’ not you! You will go to Africa to avoid jail, and you better accept the offer!

This VP smoke will blow over like all the other toxic emissions from the MSM.

Send what you just wrote to the DNC and Hillary campaign:

I will not vote for Barracka no matter with whom he runs.

I require confirmation before taking this VP thing seriously. The MSM is now notorious for blowing smoke out its ass. But it won’t hurt to send what you wrote to Hillary.

Comment by Milly | 2008-05-23 13:31:28

I have done it, I did write to Hillary’s campaign and I did write also to the DNC.

But hey, as you say, I will keep saying it again, the same way the detractors want to insist that the majority of people believe in the ‘lies’ they portrait as factual accounts in their articles, well we will be in alert to remind them, that not they will not put us down by playing games with people’s minds. For their surprise they have found we are not the ‘cowards and numbed’ ones that allowed an election being stolen from the right candidate in 2000. This time we will alter ‘what they call -a mandate-’,
we will defy it!

They decided to play ‘ignore Hillary’ I know, to make her and us who support her to believe she like us, is delusional,in a state of denial or living in a different parallel, umm, maybe in that part they are right, Hillary now has the support of scientists who can alter reality, and they have already removed Barracka from it.

Great story, reality or fiction?

Since there is something tricky when you try to open the page for the article, I will post it here, if Susan feels it can cause conflict, please remove my message then, and accept my apologies, I am just trying to share something that goes as the plot in the movie Deja Vu, although I agree with the mayans, we are not limited to move just from point a to point b. Read the story, and hope the -meme obamians- will be reading it too:

Operation Obama Erasure

By Michael Mccord
mmccord@seacoastonline.com
April 27, 2008 6:00 AM

It was only by accident that I discovered Operation Erasure, and what I have to report is a remarkable advance in 21st century campaigning.

Dr. Jeremiah Queenheart is not your typical political operative and in fact admitted to me that he was a bit of an anti-social nerd who spent most of his time dealing in parallel universe quantum mechanics. He hadn’t voted before (this reality wasn’t really important to him) and really didn’t know much about the 2008 election before he was contacted by the Clintons to help them solve a problem or two.

What he did know about, he told me, was creating alternative realities and developing wide-scale historical revisionism software models.

We met by chance (or perhaps not )when I was attempting to dial into a conference call by the Hillary Clinton campaign. It was the day after Clinton’s decisive victory against Barack Obama in the Pennsylvania primary and the campaign gurus set to talk about how the tide was turning in her favor.

What I didn’t know is that Dr. Queenheart was the driving force behind the campaign’s latest phase — and I found that out when I dialed the wrong number.

“PU shop, Queenheart here” was the answer.

“Uh, is this the Clinton campaign conference call?” I replied.

“No, right campaign, but wrong office, I’m afraid. They spin reality upstairs and we manufacture it down here.”

“Excuse me?” I stammered.

“Not familiar with alternative realities, are you?”

“No, the one I inhabit is challenging enough.”

“You know there are many out and about.”

“That’s a scary thought.”

To make a long negotiation short, Dr. Queenheart, a transplanted Englishman and descendent of H.G. Wells, let me interview him and even to write about it — but he promised me it wouldn’t matter because no one would believe me and he would eventually transform the reality of our encounter into non-existence.

“I was contacted by the Clinton people after that peculiar holiday you call Super Tuesday,” he explained while allowing another self in a different reality work on his latest project — create a new historical record for the bastard primaries in Michigan and Florida.

“We’ve been bashing at this a few times. I’m sure you’ve heard Mrs. Clinton’s announcement that she’s now the popular vote leader in the primary.”

I said I had, but was skeptical because Michigan and Florida don’t count in the vote totals because the primaries didn’t count.

“So you say. Well, Mrs. Clinton believes it entirely now — that was the problem before when she brought it up. She wasn’t entirely convincing. Eventually, we will insert enough pieces of the alternative reality puzzle to have it become reality — one I dare say will be embraced by you and other gullible members of that media herd, the superdelegates, the voters in Michigan and Florida, and even the Obama campaign itself.”

When I asked how this was possible, how could history be erased and rewritten, he said it was the wrong question.

“You should be asking, why not?”

Eventually, he admitted, Clinton would win the nomination because it will be proven that Michigan and Florida primaries actually did count and that Clinton won them big and bagged a huge cache of delegates.

“That’s why we laugh when we hear another pundit shout that she should leave the race. Give it a few weeks and the conventional wisdom will shift and Obama will be under pressure to quit the race.”

I was shocked.

“Dear chap, you know all those irrelevant caucuses in god-forsaken places like Iowa and Alaska and Wyoming?”

“Irrelevant?”

“Indeed.” It seems the gang at Clinton’s PU (Parallel Universe) office were changing perceptions of results so that superdelegates, even those from caucus states, were ready to dismiss those delegates as illegitimate.

“We call it the Orwellian invective.”

Dr. Queenheart continued to tell me that “when the Clinton brain trust called me on Feb. 6, they told me they had made a slight miscalculation. They thought the race would be over because of the inevitability factor, but they missed a few variables. I became their Plan B.”

It was brilliant, I told him.

And there was more, he told me. His group of chemists, computer experts and mechanical engineers (the machines used to create alternative realities were recycled from defunct factories) were working fast to create a new Bosnian sniper-fire reality.

“We think by the time of North Carolina primary, not only will the sniper fire in that 1996 incident be real, but many will die — and she will take charge, fly a helicopter gunship, and kill the attackers with a few well-placed missiles. It fits in with her new muscular profile of obliterating Iran if they raise an eyebrow.”

When I mentioned this explained why the campaign was broke and had lost 11 contests in a row in February, Dr. Queenheart agreed.

“We were getting some things in place. Hillary will be the nominee; it’s guaranteed.”

I knew better by this point, but when I mentioned that Obama’s delegate lead seemed insurmountable, he quickly cut me off.

“Who’s Obama?”

The top alternative reality project is called Operation Erasure and it is the equivalent of a miracle that Clinton supporters were waiting for.

“Obama will simply no longer exist as a candidate. It’s tough work and we are fighting hard, but we are making PU inroads. By our calculation, just after she wins the Puerto Rico primary, she will be declared the nominee because Barack Obama won’t exist.”

“He does exist,” I countered.

“Not if his African father doesn’t come to America or his mother stays in Kansas. He will become stuck talking about change in a meaningless parallel universe.”

It all seemed diabolical, right out of Karl Rove’s playbook. Wasn’t he afraid, I asked, that all this alternative reality creation for the sake of one person’s political ambitions, well, wouldn’t it tear the fragile space-time continuum mentioned by Einstein?

“This isn’t a game for the faint of particle heart. People forget what Rove and Einstein both said: If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen of alternative realities.”

When he’s not jumping into parallel universes, political columnist Michael McCord is the editorial page editor of Seacoast Sunday and the Portsmouth Herald

You are right. I ignore them now. In fact, I never even watch them when they talk about this. I click them off. They have tried to kill off Hillary Clinton so many times it’s laughable. Always, she rises. Now that their calls for her to leave the race no longer work, they are into “trying to figure out” what she’s doing in the race. I’ll tell you what she’s doing. She’s waiting for Barky Obama to self destruct. It seems Florida’s law suit is a good start.

In the meantime, Hillary has not “dropped out” and that keeps her a viable candidate after all Barky’s shit hits his own filthy fan. I don’t imagine Hillary would be caught standing next to him much less be his VP, where she can carry him in a race he deserves to lose. Besides that, who wants to be bridesmaid to a mediocre dud so she can do all the work while he preens around and takes the credit. We’ve all seen that movie before.

Hillary ignores what they say. You should too.

Uppity,

Don’t you think this is a strategy to back him into a corner? We all know he HATES Hillary. The Obama camp is already on record as saying nasty things about her as a VP choice. The nastier comments the more they alienate her supporters, especially those who like the idea and there are quite a few. Imagine how those folks will turn against him if he seems to repudiate the idea? It makes him look bad. He doesn’t want her on the ticket, if he did, he’d have offered it to her long ago. They’ve already denigrated her and Bill Clinton as well as the Clinton Presidency. Even though I loathe the idea and won’t vote for the ticket, if it makes Barky and his yard dog supporters SQUIRM, - well - I gotta love that idea.

But something tells me there’s a reason behind this.

I saw that picture a while ago of Ayers office door and thought, is this a child’s room? This guy is 62 years old and still goes around acting like a kid in a first time dorm room!

The real unfortunate thing is that Ayers and Dohrn have their thumb prints all over Obama, so a vote for Obama is a vote for Ayers and Dohrn!

As soon as the right wing attack machine let slip their dogs of war and I don’t mean just Faux news, Obama will be shredded. My republican family members were set to vote for Hillary as punishment to the GOP for diving off the deep end with Bush. Now with shit like that photo upthread along with Michelle “For the first time, I’m proud of my country” and Rev.”Goddamn America” Wright, and anything else they have squirreled away (and believe me, they do) Obama will be on the floor, in a fetal position begging for his typical, white grandmother to “make the bad men go away, please grammy” by mid October. I swear this is what happens when you take dodgeball out of grade school PE and give awards to people just for showing up. But hey, I’m actually beginning to look forward to the General evisceration…oops, I mean General Election with Obama as YOUR nominee.

I’m in the minority on this, I understand. But Ayers is just an academic. And not all that relevant, either.

Frankly, I was an education major for awhile. I couldn’t take it. LOL*

This is going to reveal my OWN snobbishness. So be it. I deserve the criticism.

You know what my education buddies worried about?

Passing Dumbo Math.

I’m serious.

They couldn’t do basic college math.

Do you think they had a clue as to the nuances of radical education theory?

*lolololololollo*!

These are guys are publish in journals that nobody reads, nobody cares about, and nobody gives weight tot.

Now, let me be fair. In the area I finally landed in?

Same thing.

The big academic names in my own field? Major in the areas. Highly radical. And did that have a dang thing to do with my actual life?

Nope.

I enjoyed the radical thinking as a student. Opens up the mind. Lets the air in.

But real life?

Very much different.

Let me repeat. I eat dinner weekly with teachers, and Ayers isn’t on their mind. Hillary is right on target, however. What they are forced to do in No Child Left Behind is focus almost 1/4 of the year on the TEST. It is ALL they think about, ALL they worry about.

A friend of mine is a principal at an alternative school. (Read: Gang members kicked out.)

She spent last week driving around to personally pick up kids because she HAS to make sure they take the test. Her school is a national award-winning alternative school. She’s done amazing stuff. She has knocked the socks out of every metric possible.

And she has to go escort these kids, no matter what. She is required to have them tested.

Ayers to me? Academic egghead. He’ll hardly be a footnote.

No Child Left Behind? Now, that’s the real story.

Hillary is right to blast that.

Comment by **== President & Commader-in-Chief Hillary Clinton **== | 2008-05-23 12:07:28

I understand your position.

The 527’s will have a field day with Ayers though.

Comment by Ulahane | 2008-05-23 12:11:06

Good observations. I don’t personally feel that Ayers is a serious threat, only that his value system reflects very poorly on Sen. Obama.

Though “just an academic” might be underestimating someone who travels to Venezuela to give anti-American speeches.

Comment by AnninCa | 2008-05-23 12:21:35

Oh hell…these guys just like to travel. Sincerely, I mean that. I was married to a professor. He went to Bosnia, btw. Hillary was right spot on about the sniper fire danger, too. He never encountered the real deal, but it definitely was the threat.

But that aside, he mostly went because it was a cheap way to see the world. Perks of the job, so to speak.

Comment by Uppity | 2008-05-23 12:14:00

I taught high school for 8 years before getting a techinical degree and changing careers. Trust me I know what you mean. But it is pertinent to parents to know that people like Ayers is out there trying to influence Thought. When a large organization puts their eggs in his basket, I would say it’s worrisome, because guys like Ayers are subtle– but they do infiltrate. In the meantime, hug your teacher friends for me and tell them I am glad I am not there with them.

Comment by AnninCa | 2008-05-23 12:33:14

Academics have trouble influencing anyone. They really are amazed when anyone pays attention, and they honestly do have some good stuff to offer.

I still say that’s the deal about Michelle Obama, too. She’s just a bit of an egg-head. Now that people are listening? She’ll grow up fast.

My own story? I went to an “award winning writing program.”

On my first job out of college, my goal was to inform employees about the new maternity leave law. Well, I was a young professional, and I didn’t exactly hit the sweet spot. My bosses all understood the law and approved the piece.

Except, I managed to confuse 15,000 employees. LOL*

Really, it was a disaster!

I confused a fortune 100 company on the law that would transform employee policies.

I have always said: There is nothing that beats experience.

:)

(Yes, I managed to clean up the mess. Yes, I did not get fired. Yes, I learned that real people are out there reading. Yes, experience taught me.)

But beyond this, you guys need to know something. The Annenberg School of Communications is highly discounted among those of us that field.

It’s known for turning out vague, undisciplined, and ineffectual graduates.

Nobody who knows much about any of the related fields gives that group much credence.

Here’s another fact. It’s the “rich kids” degree.

I actually used to hire some of them. I’m embarrased to report why, but I will for the sake of discussion. They dressed well and looked good, and I had to have that “quality,” given the corporate world I was in.

BUT we all knew they had no real skills. Their real gift was a wardrobe from Ann Taylor.

I was expected to actually train them. *arrggghhh*

If I could keep them from getting married or pregnant, I had a shot at that. They were lovely people. They had all the right attitudes.

They simply had no skills. :)

After reading that Obama chose his friends carefully (somewhere in the recent past)…I wonder if he chose them for what he could glean that would be most beneficial for his childhood aspiration of being POTUS. Ayers would fit the the bill on teaching Obama how to tap into the youth vote, as well as teaching kids how to bully their parents into supporting him, as well.

I get so empowered by the trolls visits, don’t you? No matter how much drivel they post, the mere fact that they take the time to come here and post is a testament to their fears.

Surely by now, they realize that the bridge is out as in destroyed. Talk about ‘make believe worlds’ How many different ways are there to make them understand that Obama will have to:

WIN WITHOUT ME!

And by the looks of it, a whole lot of other people, too.

Yes millions of us hardworking decent people will NEVER vote for Obama.

If Obama’s lead was so massive and we did not matter, why are the trolls here? Why not just let this go to the convention?

We know why. Time is Obama’s worst enemy.

So this is where the dead enders went.
To a blog started by a guy I once considered to be a hero, who I wanted to have on my radio show, and who has completely divorced himself from reality.
This will be my only comment here - at least till after the presumptive nominee is the nominee de jure.
Disappointing in the extreme.

To a blog started by a guy I once considered to be a hero,

So when you agreed with him he is a hero. When you disagree with him he is the devil incarnate? He is trying to save you from a national security disaster: Obama.

Your radio show which I will never listen to must suck if you flip flop so easily on your heroes.

and who has completely divorced himself from reality.

I think this shoe might fit you now but certainly not Larry Johnson.

Kestrel, go back to KOS, you don’t want us there, you don’t need our votes or our donations. You keep telling us that. We’re “DEAD ENDERS”. So if that’s true…why are you here…at this point in time? This is our port in the storm. Go celebrate your victory back at KOS and ignore us, please, after all, Obama has it all sewn up. You may consider yourself a kestrel, but Obama will be your ALBATROSS.

Thanks for sharing that you are fickle.

And the news that you can’t handle someone having a thought that is opposed to your’s despite evidence that Obama has repeatedly lied about Ayers and other shady characters in his life.

It is interesting to see people so caught up in Dubya-2 they won’t actually look at the man.

Just like it was clear from who Dubya was surrounding himself with before the election, that we would be going to war with Iraq. Despite his campaign promises of a humble foreign policy with no nation building.

But head sticking your head in the sand saying you are disappointed in others, doesn’t make reality go away.

People should check up on the people who influence Dubya-2….just like they should have with Dubya.

Hey Kestrel did you read today’s news about florida? Oh wait, nevermind, you don’t bother with silly things like News. I guess Barky’s “count em so long as they don’t count” plan isn’t going to work.

Comment by Larry Johnson | 2008-05-23 14:16:08

Fucking hysterical!! You are calling us “dead enders”. Jesus, now where have I heard that phrase before? Oh yeah, it was Don Rumsfeld. I remember him. When I was saying there was an insurgency in Iraq, old Rummy was denouncing folks like me as “dead enders”. And guess what? I was right then.

So you now have no better answer than to quote Don Rumsfeld. Well, like it or not, the facts about Obama’s unsavory raft of associates will make him toxic come November. If he had been vetted in the way that a normal candidate for Vice President is vetted he never would have made it this far.

There is some cold blooded people coming out of there, and here I thought college produces more tolerance and compassion.

How naive…lol

Uppity Woman,

Obama is so FFFFF’ng stupid. If the DNC is stupid enough to swing the nomination Obama’s way prior to the Convention, then the Republican 527’s will begin to unload their arsenal of Anti-Obama counter-intelligence.

You dam well know Bill Ayers will be a front and center exhibit as to Obama’s unfitness to be president.

The first question is how Obama will react. Obama will be exposed as having blantantly lied about Ayers in the ABC debate. We can expect Obama to attempt to throw Ayers and Dohrn under a bus. But would a bus the size of the Golden Gate Bridge be large enougn for Ayers and Dohrn.

Second is the likelihood that Ayers and Dohrn will retaliated with the same fits of ego as Rev. Wright. Will Ayers and Dohrn encourage their New New Left followers to create all sorts of mischieve and worse in Denver?

Larry, You work in the field of aviation security, right? Please explain with thousands of people on The No Fly List how someone like Ayers gets clearance to fly to Venezuela or is that classified? Just think of everything he has admitted to, even bragged about. I don’t get it. Maybe he flys private charter.

>>>THIS THIRD ARTICLE OF THE 14TH AMENDMENT COULD BE USED AGAINST OBAMA FOR HIS LINKS TO WRIGHT, REZKO, AYRES, FARAKAN ETC WHICH WOULD DISQUALIFY HIM FROM THIS PRESIDENTIAL RACE!!!!
Amendment 14 - Citizenship Rights
3. No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Marilyn, no matter how much you may dislike someone or think them guilty they are still entitled to due process. To the best of my knowledge none of the people you listed have been convicted of crimes of sedition, etc. So there goes your argument.

Comment by whoframedrudy | 2008-05-23 22:02:04

“none of the people you listed have been convicted of crimes of sedition”

Has Bin Laden been convicted of sedition? He certainly meets the ‘enemies’ criterion. I think Ayers meets the ‘enemies’ criterion also. The article doesn’t require a conviction, and I don’t think Ayers’ due process rights (the reason he’s not in prison now) would extend to Obama — since the punishment is not prison, but disqualification for office. As far as Obama goes, the issue is what constitutes ‘giving aid and comfort’ to an enemy. That’s a stretch. And ‘aid and comfort’ would probably have to be given at the time of the terrorist activity.

I notice Obama supporters offer criminal defenses, like ‘guilt by association’, as if he’s on trial. He’s not on trial, he’s running for President. A criminal on trial, even filth like Ayers, gets the benefit of reasonable doubt before we can put him in prison. There’s no benefit of reasonable doubt for the Presidency. Just another example of how Obama’s supporters lower the standards of the Presidency.

I always look at that pic of Ayers and think what a brave radical showing his rebellion hiding between two narrow walls so that no one can see what he is doing except for the photographer. This is typical of a terrorist, sneaking around in the shadows.
