in january 2006 obama was part of a congressional delegation to Iraq. He was only in Iraq for 2 days
and then “separated from the delegation to ’spend 8 dyas in Israel, Kuawait, Jordan and the Palestinian territories.’ The rest of the delegation went to Afghanistan and Pakistan without Obama.”

is this the time period for the soon-to-drop B.O. tape?

So how exactly did the Democratic members of the Florida legislature vote on moving the primary up? They voted for it, didn’t they? So there is no basis for saying that this forced upon the poor Florida Democrats, was there?

I agree re: the dirty deal. The fact that Brazile and Dean have misleadingly spoken in public about FL is evidence enough that they don’t have facts on their side but do have a motive for disenfranchising FL.

I wish I knew the details. Maybe President Bush could get one of those Telecoms he’s so fond of to bug DNC headquarters (electronically, not the way that Nixon did it in ‘72).

Then again, Bush might want to share the democrat-enraging details but he wouldn’t, because he’d end up in prison.

I guess we’ll likely never learn what the DNC’s “leaders” really had in mind when playing the game as it has.

You’re right: they’re bothered only because Hillary benefited from standing up for FL — while Obama will truly look illegitimate (NO play on words) if he wins the nomination without having fought for FL and MI.
