The problem is, these crackpot radicals try to “purge” the party every so often when in fact they get marginalized in the end. These are people who know their fringe parties were useless so they want to turn the Democratic party into Them.

I say that the the naive youth, the radical leftists, the black nationalists, , Elitist dilettantes, and the bourgeoise Professors Ivory-tower types, the wacked out Indies and the Obamacans form their own Party — the Disney-Dysfunctional Party. Leave the working-class, disadvantaged, common, everyday moderate Democratic Party alone, please.

I think Dean will obviously be given a payoff. Who would doubt it? He’s to be rewarded for his efforts to seat Obama and has had to fend off the Democratic Party regulars to do so.

In the meantime, Obama tanks. He’s great in la-la land and in states of heavy AA population. Alas, they are 90% Republican states, so that won’t really help him a lot.

And we can’t stand the guy. So…..McCain is dancing the snoopy dance.

Reminds me of the usual tales of what happens when someone hijacks a plane. Those stories don’t end up pretty either.

Reagan also took advantage of the simple fact that middle age has a way of forcing maturity on Idealists…It’s easy to be idealist when you are either Uber Rich…or….Uber Poor…or …..Young and ignorant…
The first string of Baby Boomers had grown up and their concerns matured due to life experience…and the UTTER AND COMPLETE FAILURE OF ST. JIMMY…..They were willing to give Reagan a fair shake because the alternative was more WRONG LIBERAL BULLSHIT….Clinton was able to tap into this as well…to a masterful degree….imho
