Why I Believe the Michelle Obama Tape Exists

I understand the skepticism of many about whether there actually exists a tape of Michelle Obama engaged in an anti-white rant. The lady obviously has some anger management issues–just check out her senior thesis she wrote at Princeton–but this sounds too good to be true. However, here is why I think the tape exists.
I have two friends. One is a Democrat and one is a Republican. One lives on the west coast and one lives on the east coast. They do not know each other. Yet each has spoken directly with someone who has seen the tape. In fact, I first heard about the tape from my east coast friend. I thought it was interesting but, without additional proof, not worth mentioning. Later that night I was chatting with a friend, who happens to be an Obama supporter, but is very well connected to the Washington political scene. That person told me he had heard the same thing. He also told me about a separate tape of Barack Obama during an overseas trip that also is in the hands of the McCain folks.
The clincher came when my buddy on the west coast wrote to me that he had a friend who had seen the tape. Given that there are two separate people, completely unconnected, giving the same report, I think it is reasonable to conclude that the tape exists. We shall see.

I don’t know a single person that is still promoting BO for President. But that’s just in my little world. I only knew a couple to start with…

I know a couple of people who support him, both AA. One of them is diehard, but the other one has had their faith shalen a little by events. It may turn out in the fall that he won’t even be able to keep this core group of supporters as more information comes out about Obama and his past relationships.
Whatever happened to the million dollar payoff? Surely someone cashed in? Is the billionaire who was willing to pay the million dollars waiting to release the tape?
I think some one needs to release it for the good of the country NOW and let the chips fall where they may.
You’re rather hastily assuming that it is in fact true, when there’s no evidence to support it. To be perfectly honest, I’m quite skeptical that a sharp woman like Michelle Obama would ever say such a thing publicly, let alone that there’s a video or audiotape of it in existence.
That said, if this “whitey” comment / rant / whatever in fact occurred, it would certainly be in the best interest of the Obama campaign itself to first broach the subject and attempt to diffuse such a volatile issue through self-revelation, rather than be forced to initially respond to the allegation and then do active damage control at the time of actual substantiation.
Oh yeah like he handled Rev. Wright? If he were as smart as you say and he knew he wanted to be president one day, he would have done a sharp 180 in that church the moment Rev. Wright started dry humping the pulpit.

Talk about damage control. Why did Obama come out and tell everyone to lay off his wife right after this story brokw on the internet. Seems suspicous to me.

You can read it on Politico…that’s the only place I could find it. Very light-weight stuff. You’d think that she’s had a lot of years to mature and have grown-up views about race matters, but clearly has not. It appears that she has been unhappy and defensive, all of her life. Not a good trait for 1st Lady.

Similar fakes have existed in the past.
A fake would be exposed as such pretty quickly if the video were made public. But that exposure need never happen.
The purpose of the fake would be to assure McCain’s skittish funders that the GOP possesses the means to stop Obama in his tracks. In other words, the footage exists as a money-raising device. Once that function is fulfilled, the thing can disappear.
The BEST rationale to believe in the tape’s existence is Michelle Obama herself. There is nothing we’ve heard about the tape that is out of character for her or Trinity UCC.

But someone would TALK. If a few thousand maxed-out funders have seen this tape, some of them would talk. Some would even go on TV and say they saw it.
And if it weren’t released in time to turn the tide decisively, they’d start yelling for it. Those bundlers don’t keep bundling if they aren’t headed for a big win!

This story really doesn’t make any sense logically, there’s no evidence offered in support, and it sounds like a cheap excuse to engage in another round of malicious character assassination. One way to verify would be to have each tell you EXACTLY what is said… like a memorable line, or what Michelle Obama is wearing in the tape. If they BOTH come up with the same answer or line, then that is VERY good evidence the tape exists.

Michelle Obama has a serious problem with race. She thinks all of her problems and the reason people don’t like her is because she’s Black (listening to too much of Wright’s “victimization” speech).
Has she ever considered that maybe people don’t like her or the fact that she’s not successful, not because of her race, but who she is as a person? Angry, mean-spirited, hateful? As for her lack of accomplishments, like her husband (mediocre attracts mediocre)- maybe it’s because she’s not talented or gifted? People just told her this to inflate her ego like him, throw them into positions they weren’t ready for for the sake of affirmative action. It’s dangerous and it backfires when we put inexperienced idiots into positions they are wholly incapable of doing because of their skin color or family connections (ie. Until this video is actually released, it is of no help to Hillary at all and Obama supporters will just call it a scare tactic. Therefore, any Hillary supporter who can find a way to get their hands on it should release it ASAP to YouTube and to Fos News and ABC News, which, while not completely neutral, do a better job at airing Obama’s dirty laundry than NBC, CBS or CNN.
Could the Obama supporter be playing hype with it to preempt its actual impact? If everyone things it’s this horrible thing and ends up being just “bad” then it’ll

I wish it would have just come out WITHOUT everyone knowing about it. This has given Obama time to come up with an excuse and time to word a speech in such a way as to blame the victim (white people).
I am almost certain the tape exists after watching the interview on GMA where he told them to “lay off my wife” and don’t misconstrue her statements. It’s pretty obvious.
But the deal clincher for many people, as it was for me, is gonna be the overseas tape of Obama directly campaigning for Odinga – followed by footage of Odinga’s Islamic terrorists chopping down men, women, and children with machetes after Odinga lost the election and yelled foul play. Followed by Odinga saying he is Obama’s cousin and they still keep in regular contact. Unlike with Wright, I don’t think disowning Odinga or throwing him under the bus is gonna erase that image of the two of them together and Odinga’s support for Sharia law in Kenya, which was one of the most stable countries in the regions before Odinga came along. Maybe even follow that up with famous US Black leaders threatening riots in the US if Obama doesn’t win. Can anyone say race-wars? That is enough to scare the crap out of the most sincere Obamabot and finally wake them up. The tape is just one leg on the chair. The others are the best hits of Michelle Obama as some have mentioned. The treasure trove of strange present votes in the Illinois State Senate and of course the Rezko trial. Any of these could have a big impact as a chair doesn’t sit well on less than four.
As hillarious as it sounds, it might be interesting to see Mr. O get elected. Love to see the republicans take control of one of the houses because they will investigate the daylights out of this guy and all the shady things he seems to have been involved in.
Certainly we live in a day and time when things can be doctored and spliced, but if you had such a tape wouldn’t you think also that you probably had the authenticity checked before you paid for it?
I hope it comes out, but I don’t think it will unless McCain starts to loose the electorate. I believe Obama is very confident that because of his age, McCain won’t put up a vigorous fight. This is a fellow who gave George Bush a kiss and has been waiting eight years or so for the job. He will be patient enough until Obama makes a mistake and then ride it all the way home.
I can’t wait until the GOP convention when Joe Liebermann announces that he is changing parties to run with McCain as VP. The way I count the senate then is 50-50 who know what could happen before the election, perhaps a special session called by a lame duck president?
I am somewhat surprised that more videos have not surfaced of Reverend Wright, but I suppose that those who have the tapes are waiting until a more opportune time to release them. That’s probably the ONLY reason that I believe that a tape of Michelle spouting off might exist–Hillary would NEVER use it since it would likely backfire, yet the Republicans are getting what they want right now–Obama running in November so why would ANY of them release it sooner than the fall? The answer is crystal clear–they’d wait to use it when it can create the most damage.
Also, the one thing that keeps nagging at me are all those SDs who have not endorsed EITHER candidate, which seems strange to me at this point since I honestly cannot see Hillary overcoming Obama’s lead in pledged delegates–the math just does not favor Hillary at this point. It is possible that the uncommitted SDs are waiting on the May 31st rules committee ruling on Florida and Michigan, but with 287 uncommitted SDs, that seems like quite a lot who are waiting for some reason other than a chance to support the person who is likely to finish ahead in pledged delegates. I really wonder about that–for instance, if there is a lot more dirt on EITHER Obama or Clinton.
I must admit that I would be shocked if something scandalous surfaced about Hillary since the Clintons’ have been under the proverbial media microscope for well over 15 years. So that leaves Obama. Clearly, Michelle is the one in the family who seems to carry a gigantic chip on her shoulder so she seems like the one most likely to get caught on tape saying things that she would rather we not see.
One of the posters here claimed that he had seen the video of Michelle (was on one of the earlier threads about this) and that it wasn’t “all that”. He said that Michelle was actually relating a story about what some older AA woman had said about white people. He claimed that in context, the video would not make so much as a ripple–that Michelle’s “first time” to really be “proud” was far more inflammatory. I dunno–seeing is believing so I will wait and see what happens.

With all the negatives of Obama going forward to the general election, what are peoples’ opinions of McCain’s run if he picks Sarah Palin for his vice-president?
She would fill more of shortcomings of McCain and has plenty of executive experience. I don’t see how he can win by picking a white man. Jindal is too young, but Palin has youth and would captivate the women of the country, especially in many of the swing states.
If the DVD/tape exists, and McCain picks Palin and times it right and goes after the non-black female Oprah voters, I don’t see how he can lose. After doing extensive research on Palin, I think you position her perfectly to be the Veep and become the first female President in 2012.

LONGWOOD, Fla. — The home of a Central Florida Republican
headquarters manager was shot up and damaged over his support of Sen.
John McCain, the man told police.

PITTSBURGH — A 20-year-old woman who was robbed at an ATM in Bloomfield was also maimed by her attacker, apparently because of her political views, police said.
According to WTAE’s news exchange partners the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review Ashley Todd, of College Station, Texas, was using an ATM at Liberty Avenue and Pearl Street in Bloomfield just before 9p.m. on Wednesday when a man approached her and put a knife to her throat.
Police spokeswoman Diane Richard said the robber took $60 from Todd,then became angry when he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the victim’s car. The attacker then punched and kicked the victim, before using the knife to scratch the letter “B” into her face, Richard said.
The Tribune reported that Todd, who isn’t familiar with the area,drove to a friend’s house and together the pair located the Citizens Bank ATM at Liberty and Pearl where the attack happened and called police.
Todd declined to comment to the Tribune. Friends said she is in Pittsburgh volunteering for the McCain-Palin campaign.
Richard said the woman refused medical treatment after the assault,which happened outside the view of the bank’s surveillance cameras.
The robber is described as a dark-skinned black man, 6 feet 4 inches tall, 200 pounds with a medium build, short black hair and brown eyes. The man was wearing dark colored jeans, a black undershirt and black shoes.
The Obama-Biden campaign released a statement, commenting on the attack. The statement said “Our thoughts and prayers are with the young woman for her to make a speedy recovery, and we hope that the person who perpetrated this crime is swiftly apprehended and brought to justice.”
The McCain-Palin campaign also released a statement saying “The McCain campaign is aware of the incident involving one of its volunteers. Out of respect, the campaign won’t be commenting. The campaign also confirms that Senator McCain and Governor Palin have
both spoken to the woman.”

Ashley Todd, 20-year-old college student from College Station, Texas, admitted Friday that the story was false, said Maurita Bryant, the assistant chief of the police department’s investigations division. Todd was charged with making a false report to police, and Bryant said police doubted her story from the start.
“…here is why I think the tape exists.
“I have two friends. One is a Democrat and one is a Republican. One lives on the west coast and one lives on the east coast. They do not know each other. Yet each has spoken directly with someone who has seen the tape.”
