About: Larry C. Johnson is a former analyst at the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, who moved subsequently in 1989 to the U.S. Department of State, where he served four years as the deputy director for transportation security, antiterrorism assistance training, and special operations in the State Department's Office of Counterterrorism. He left government service in October 1993 and set up a consulting business. He currently is the co-owner and CEO of BERG Associates, LLC (Business Exposure Reduction Group) and is an expert in the fields of terrorism, aviation security, and crisis and risk management, and money laundering investigations. Johnson is the founder and main author of No Quarter, a weblog that addresses issues of terrorism and intelligence and politics. NoQuarterUSA was nominated as Best Political Blog of 2008.[1] He has worked as a private consultant on issues of international terrorism and security for the U.S. Government and private companies. Johnson has appeared as a consultant and commentator in many major newspapers and news programs.[2]

[edit]Background
Larry Johnson moved to Washington, D.C. in 1979 to begin work on a Ph.D. at the American University. Although he completed successfully all coursework and comprehensive exams, he did not write a dissertation. In 1978 and in 1983-85 he worked in Latin America on community development projects as a community organizer. Returning to the United States in 1985 he joined the Central Intelligence Agency, thanks in part to a letter of recommendation from Republican Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT) that helped to "open doors" for him at the Agency.[3] Johnson entered on duty at the CIA in September 1985 and was a classmate of Valerie Plame. Every member of that class was undercover. After a year in the Career Trainee program, which included a stint with the Afghan Task Force, Johnson was assigned as an analyst in the Middle America Caribbean Division in the Latin American Affairs Office of the Directorate of Intelligence. He received two Exceptional Performance awards and was promoted ultimately to Senior Regional Analyst for Central America.
Johnson remained undercover in the CIA until October 1989, when he resigned from the CIA and started a new job in the Office of Counter Terrorism at the Department of State. Johnson played an instrumental role in launching the Terrorism Rewards program international advertising campaign (working with Diplomatic Security officers Brad Smith and Michael Parks). [4] Johnson also was involved in a variety of crisis management response operations, including the release of hostages from Lebanon and liaison with the Pan Am 103 families. He left government service in October 1993 and started his own business as a consultant.
After leaving government service, Johnson became a frequent guest on many major television news shows when a question of terrorism came up. He was first interviewed by CNN following the capture of Carlos the Jackal. Johnson subsequently appeared on CNN, ABC's Nightline, CBS, the BBC, MSNBC, the Jim Lehrer News Hour, NBC, and NPR. In December of 1999, for example, Johnson was hired by NBC to serve as its terrorist expert for the Y2000 and was in Time Square with Tom Brokaw and Katie Couric ("a lot of fun and the best way to see in the New Year"). Johnson also was hired in January 2002 as a Fox News Analyst and remained under contract until February 2003.
Since 1994 a significant focus of Johnson's consulting work has been with the U.S. military special operations forces in scripting and conducting military counter terrorism exercises. He traveled under orders from the U.S. military to Iraq in May 2006 to work on a short term project.
A registered Republican who supported President Bush in 2000, Johnson became a strong critic of the Bush administration in May 2003 for its conduct of the war in Iraq and, a few months later, for its role in the outing of CIA operative Valerie Plame.[5] He was also featured in the 2004 political documentary Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism. Since Robert Novak's controversial disclosure of Valerie Plame as a CIA operative in July 2003, Johnson has contributed to public discourse on intelligence matters, often sparking further controversy. He has been interviewed by both the mass media and the alternative media and published commentaries on a variety of issues, including the Plame affair, the controversy concerning Mary McCarthy, and the resignation of Porter Goss as Director of Central Intelligence.

[edit]1996
In 1996, Johnson noted that terrorism worldwide was on the decline. "Terrorist incidents [both internationally and in the US] have fallen to levels not seen since the 1970s. Whether measured by the number of incidents, the number of fatalities, or the number of groups, raw statistics demonstrate that the level of terrorist violence has declined since the mid-1980s. In fact, the evidence suggests terrorism was more widespread and deadly 10 years ago."[6]
He also wrote an op-ed piece for the New York Times suggesting that the newer and more deadly terrorist threat to the U.S. was embodied by "networks of terrorists, mostly foreign, working within its borders." Exemplifying this threat was Ramzi Yousef, one of the masterminds behind the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center. In the article, Johnson suggests that enhanced cooperation between intelligence agencies, particularly the FBI and CIA, is mandatory to meet the growing threat of terror networks.[7]
[edit]1998
In 1998, Johnson argued that while overall terrorism was declining, the threat from bin Laden and al-Qaeda should be the focus of American counterterrorism policy:
The nature of the threat posed by Bin Ladin is highlighted by my final chart, number 7. Osama Bin Ladin and individuals associated with him have killed and wounded more Americans than any other group. This chart also illustrates that groups such as Hamas and the Tamil Tigers (LTTE) prior to 1998 have killed more foreigners in the anti-US terrorist attacks. If we take into account the bombings of the US Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, Osama's status as the most lethal terrorist is certain.[8]
In addition, he told USA Today that bin Laden had participated in "virtually every major attack of terrorism against the United States" in the 1990s. Johnson underlined the threat posed by bin Laden, saying that he was possessed by "hatred and craziness." If left unanswered, "he would continue to terrorize Americans around the world. He has no compunction about killing women and children. He's a complete egalitarian in his murderous attitude."[9]
[edit]1999
In an interview with PBS's Frontline for its 1999 program, Hunting bin Laden, Johnson discussed Osama bin Laden.[10] According to Johnson, Americans had "tended to make Osama bin Laden sort of a superman in Muslim garb." "Actually," he continues, "Osama bin Laden, in my view, represents more of a symptom of a problem, and the problem is this: the Saudi Arabian government, not just Osama bin Laden but many people in Saudi Arabia, have been sending money to radical Islamic groups for years." Johnson continued:
When you look at who's killed Americans in the last 10 years, the individuals he's supported and backed--I'm basing that upon the initial information that's been released in the indictments and conversations with others in the intelligence communities--Osama bin Laden has been the one killing Americans. No other terrorist group in the world has been out killing Americans except for Osama bin Laden.... Osama bin Laden remains out there as the one really targeting us. So, we recognize that he's the threat. He's serious about wanting to kill Americans, but as long as he's in Afghanistan, as long as he doesn't have access to a cell phone, as long as he can't just hop on a plane and travel wherever he wants without fear of being arrested, his ability to plan and conduct terrorist operations is extremely limited. We have to recognize [that] he would like to do a lot of damage. He would like to kill Americans, but wanting to is different from being able to, having the full capabilities in place.[11]
In the interview, Johnson doubted the ability of members of bin Laden's organization to plan and put their lives on the line:
There's not another Ali or Mustafa out there at this point and Osama bin Laden in my view has not been a very effective organizer or leader. He talks a great game and puts out terrific threats as far as stirring the passions in the United States and maybe firing up the imaginations of some young Muslims throughout the world. But when push comes to shove, can he get a group of people who are together who will say: we are going to plan an operation, we're going to put our lives on the line, we're going to go out and try and kill people and we don't care what the consequence is? It hasn't happened.[12]
Frontline asked:
[Is it] ... fair to say what you're saying is that the president of the United States, his national security advisor, his deputy national security advisor for counter-terrorism, are basically blowing smoke [about the danger posed by bin Laden] and his followers]?
Johnson responded:
They're grossly exaggerating the problem. They are hyping it. They shouldn't be talking about rising terrorism. Instead of saying "terrorism's rising," it's not. "Terrorism is spreading," it's not. "More people are dying from terrorism," not the case. But what they should be saying is, "There's one individual out there that really doesn't like us, and he's made it his mission in life to kill Americans, and we've gotta deal with him." But we need to have a voice of reason in that process instead of putting ourselves out crying wolf, because this is essentially what's taking place right now. They call it the administration that cries wolf.[12]
[edit]2000
Johnson co-authored an article in 2000 with Milt Bearden which focused on the threat posed by al-Qaeda specifically, rather than terrorism trends in general. Beardon and Johnson note that new information emerging about the bombings at Kenya and Tanzania in 1998 points to the threat posed by Imad Mugniyah and Osama Bin Laden will require "a coordinated policy that will employ a full range of covert, clandestine, diplomatic, and military operations," concluding:
The Clinton Administration has shot its bolt on the terrorist problem with small effect, and no last minute show of force will change the record. A new administration can start afresh with a more sharply defined set of terrorism goals – Mughniyeh and bin Laden and their protectors for starters – and bring the full, coordinated force of American diplomatic, military, and intelligence capabilities to bear on the problem.[13]
[edit]2001
After Johnson's testimony to the special forum at the U.S. Senate, Gary J. Schmitt, executive director and CEO of the Project for the New American Century, refers in the Daily Standard (blog) to an op-ed piece Johnson wrote two months prior to the 9/11 attacks, claiming that Johnson argued that the US had little to fear from terrorism.[14]
In an editorial entitled "The Declining Terrorist Threat," published in the New York Times on 10 July 2001, Johnson says:
Judging from news reports and the portrayal of villains in our popular entertainment, Americans are bedeviled by fantasies about terrorism. They seem to believe that terrorism is the greatest threat to the United States and that it is becoming more widespread and lethal. They are likely to think that the United States is the most popular target of terrorists. And they almost certainly have the impression that extremist Islamic groups cause most terrorism.... None of these beliefs are based in fact.... While terrorism is not vanquished, in a world where thousands of nuclear warheads are still aimed across the continents, terrorism is not the biggest security challenge confronting the United States, and it should not be portrayed that way.[15]
Ten days after the 9/11 attacks, after quoting the above passage, Timothy Noah concludes a post in his "Chatterbox" feature at Slate: "Johnson's analysis, we now see, was bold, persuasive, and 100 percent wrong."[16] Johnson defended himself against such attacks:
The rightwing is resurrecting an op-ed I wrote in July 2001. I stand by the full article. It is still relevant today. I am accused, incorrectly, of ignoring the threat of terrorism. In fact, I correctly noted that the real threat emanated from Bin Laden and Islamic extremism. President Bush, for his part, ignored the CIA warning in August 2001 that Al Qaeda was posed to strike inside the United States.[17]
After September 11, Johnson appeared several times on FOX News to address the question of military action against terrorism. On 14 November, he defended the FBI's proposal to interview 5,000 students in the U.S. suspected of having information relevant to the September 11 investigations:
I think they should talk to everyone that they feel they have a need to talk to. I mean, look, this is war. This is not a legal proceeding. This isn't the O.J. Simpson trial. The folks that attacked us -- they murdered Americans. And we've got to recognize that in wartime, we should do things differently.[18]
[edit]2003
In January 2003, Johnson wrote an analysis of the relationship between the upcoming U.S. invasion of Iraq and the threat of transnational terrorism. According to Johnson, Bremer's response was to tell him that "it didn't matter what Saddam did or didn't do, we were going to war."[19] The paper warned that an invasion would "do little to destroy the infrastructure of radical Islamic terrorism responsible for the 9-11 attacks." Noting that Saddam Hussein's regime has been a longtime supporter of regional terrorist organizations such as the PLO, Johnson examines contacts between Saddam Hussein and transnational terrorist organizations such as al-Qaeda:
There is no doubt that Iraq is a state sponsor of terrorism—i.e., a country that provides financial support, safe haven, training, or weapons and explosives to groups or individuals that carry out terrorist attacks. . . . According to Central Intelligence Agency data, there is no credible evidence implicating Iraq in any mass casualty terrorist attacks since 1991. . . .
Johnson notes that the period immediately leading up to 2003 saw a rise of activity surrounding terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, suggesting that "Iraq is willing to help a movement that it would otherwise oppose on ideological grounds. Nonetheless," Johnson concludes, "it is important to understand that Iraqi entreaties to Al Qaeda, are most likely intended as a tactic to bolster Iraq’s ability to fight off a U.S. invasion rather than a deep-seated theological and ideological commitment to the terrorist agenda of Bin Laden.[20]
In that analysis Johnson also warns that the U.S.-led invasion was likely to backfire:
In fact there is a serious risk that a U.S. led war against Iraq may crystallize the diffused anger in the Arab and Muslim world — a heretofore unattained goal of bin Laden and his followers — and persuade more Muslim youths to take up the terrorist banner against America and her citizens.... If we decide to invade Iraq we must be prepared for the contingency that our attack will inspire young Muslims to pursue jihad against the West in general and the United States in particular. Just as the 1979 Soviet invasion of Afghanistan rallied many Muslims, especially young adults to the cause of jihad, a U.S. attack may enable Islamic extremists to attract new followers.[20]
Johnson also gave interviews on the topic of what to do with captured al-Qaeda leaders; while he did not condone torture, he suggested that a "sleep deprivation and reward system" might be useful for getting information from Khalid Sheikh Mohammed:
I don't see a constitutional right to have eight hours of sleep. You shouldn't subject someone to freezing but they don't get to wear mink coats, either.[21]
In May 2003, Johnson joined members of Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS) in condemning the manipulation of intelligence for political purposes:
It is a misuse and abuse of intelligence. The president was being misled. He was ill served by the folks who are supposed to protect him on this. Whether this was witting or unwitting, I don't know, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.[22]
[edit]Plame affair
After Robert Novak wrote a column identifying the wife of former ambassador Joseph C. Wilson as a CIA officer, the media invited Johnson to comment on the ensuing scandal because he had been a member of the same Career Trainee class with Valerie Plame Wilson. For example, in October 2003, he appeared on Democracy Now to discuss the Plame affair. He told interviewer Amy Goodman that Valerie Wilson's cover should have been respected whether she was an "analyst" or a "cleaning lady": "if she's undercover she's undercover, period. If the media allows themselves to get distracted with those kinds of curve balls, they ignore the issue."[23]
He told a Senate Democratic Policy Committee in October 2003, "My classmates and I have been betrayed. Together, we have kept the secrets of each other's identities a secret for 18 years. Each and every one of us have kept that secret, whether we were in the CIA, in other government service or in the private sector. But this issue is not just about a blown cover. It is about the destruction of the very essence, the core of human intelligence collection activities: plausible deniability, apparently, for partisan domestic political reasons."[24]
Johnson testified at a special joint hearing of Congressional and Senate Democrats on 22 July 2005 about the consequences arising from the Plame affair.[25]
[edit]2008
In 2008, Johnson emerged as a staunch supporter of Hillary Clinton and a strong critic of Barack Obama. Larry Johnson's blog, NoQuarterUSA, became a rally point for Clinton supporters wary of Barack Obama's qualifications to be president. Supporters of Barack Obama insist that a story that first appeared on Johnson's blog--a report that Republican operatives have a tape of Michelle Obama making racially insenstive comments about caucasians--has been "refuted" Barack Obama's Fight the Smears website.[26]. However, Johnson never claimed to have the tape and reported that the Republican operatives controlling it intended to release the tape sometime after the Democratic Convention in August 2008. On October 21, however, he asserted that the operative in possession of the tape had been instructed by the McCain campaign not to release it.[27]

It is, to be sure, a little bit cheap (and slightly at odds with the usual parameters of this feature) to criticize someone for making an erroneous prediction, particularly after a tragedy. Chatterbox is especially reluctant to tag Johnson because Johnson's op-ed was argued forcefully, backed up meticulously with factual data, and bravely at odds with conventional wisdom at the time of its publication. Add in that Johnson now makes his living as a consultant to corporations about terrorism, and therefore had everything to gain by exaggerating the dangers terrorism poses, and the guy practically looks like a hero. Chatterbox, who two decades ago was an editor for the New York Times op-ed page, would have published Johnson's piece had he still been an editor there this past July. In his capacity at Slate, Chatterbox might well have written up Johnson's prediction, and perhaps even endorsed it.
But boy, is he glad he didn't! Johnson's analysis, we now see, was bold, persuasive, and 100 percent wrong. Sadly, a mistake this embarrassing cannot be ignored. As a fellow skeptic, Chatterbox in all sincerity wishes Johnson better luck next time.

Is David Axelrod the Wizard of Oz operating the theatrics of Obama’s looney Trinity United church?
Axelrod, Obama’s media guru and ventriloquist (”Just words!”), is intimately linked to the controversial renegade Catholic priest and Obama “spiritual adviser” Father Michael Pfleger.
Not only has Pfleger been prominently listed on Obama’s official advisory committee, but he also has been recruited by Obama to campaign for him beginning in Iowa and around the country as an official campaign surrogate. Obama has had a 20 year relationship with him, as long as his relationship with Rev. Jeremiah Wright. And it’s no surprise that Pfleger is one of Wright’s closest allies and friends–and that both of them are the closest allies and friends of none other than Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. Pfleger and Wright are promoters and defenders of the hate-monger Obama consistently and respectfully calls “MInister Farrakhan.” Farrakhan is a big backer of Obama’s candidacy–and has been a supporter throughout his entire political career.
To this day, the press corps, in Chicago and nationally, has not done basic reporting on Obama’s ties to the Nation of Islam despite repeated reports that he has hired members of the hate group for his campaign and Senate Office and that Farrakhan has been one of his most important political props in South Chicago from the start of his political career.
Axelrod, Chicago string-puller and corporate lobbyist, is one of the connections among this motley crew. It turns out that he’s on the fundraising committee for Pfleger’s church. Axelrod obviously has no second thoughts about Pfleger’s flagrant appearances with Farrakhan, who he brings to the church to rail against the evil of white people. And Obama obviously has not even whispered to Axelrod that it might just be a bit inappropriate for his top handler to be so closely associated with anti-Semitic, racist and anti-American hate mongers.
Which, of course, brings us to Obama’s anti-Semitic, racist and anti-American church.
After Rev. Wright’s “God damn America!” festival of hate was exposed, guess who came to dinner? David Axelrod, no doubt with the approval and encouragement of Obama, stepped up to the plate to attempt to rescue the church from its PR disaster. Axelrod arranged the church’s hiring of one of his political allies in Chicago, a political and corporate public relations firm, Jasculca Terman, to guide the church’s image.
Did Axelrod get a commission? How much? How much is the church paying Axelrod’s pals? Nobody has come clean yet. And what does Obama know and when did he know it?
(See “Senior Obama Adviser Asked Top Public Relations Firm To Help Wright’s Church.”)
In effect, the Obama campaign, through Axelrod, has subcontracted image management of the Trinity church to a connected ally. Welcome to Chicago.
Then Father Pfleger mounted the pulpit last Sunday to stage his racist and misogynist minstrel show in white face.
It’s back to the drawing board for Axelrod, Obama & Co.
The Obama freakshow can’t be controlled.
Ready, Democrats?

The dirt never stops flowing. Thank you Larry for your tireless dedication!
Good Post Larry…Keep up the pressure…..I think we have moved well past dirt….
SEMPER IN EXCREMENTO….SOLE PROFUNDUM QUI VARIAT….no ?
( Always in the shit….just the depth varies….No ? )
**** OBAMA IS UNFIT FOR ANY ELECTIVE OFFICE ****
Unfortunately, superdelegates who actually care about the Democratic party are being held hostage by threats of violence if they overturn the will of the “people,” even if by “the people,” the Obamabots mean the fuzzy math that goes into weighing delegates-per-caucus goer MUCH higher than delegates-per-primary voter.
It’s why Puerto Rico is so important. Why Hillary having a popular vote lead WITHOUT Florida and Michigan is so important. SHE IS THE PEOPLE’S CHOICE… Obama is the choice of the fuzzy math delegates.
At any rate, we need more stories to come out and Obama needs to literally TANK in the polls before the convention. His “favorability” rating has shot up recently, and is on par or surpasses the supposedly “divisive” Hillary’s unfavorability ratings.
Hillary has been wise to lay off Obama, and let the Republicans slowly poke holes in Obama. They haven’t let loose entirely yet on Obama, but it’s going to get worse for him, and I for one will enjoy watching it.
Puerto Rico, say it with me: NUNCA VOTARE POR OBAMA!
Marxists always threaten. This is bullshit. Let em riot. Bring the National Guard in and let us get on with DEMOCRACY and an election we can actually WIN.
Two days ago I heard on Lou Dobbs that Hillary is only leading by 15% in Puerto Rico. He says that 50% of Puerto Ricans are not going to vote. Interesting if true, that Obama doesn’t want Hillary’s popular vote totals to be high and now we hear that 50% of Puerto Ricans are not going to vote at all.
Any truth to the stories that Obama is saying the race is over and voters there should not waste the time an d money?
I read on a couple of other sites that Obama has run ads in the main newspapers in Puerto Rico stating that he is already the nominee so their votes will be “wasted” if they vote for Hillary. He is telling them to vote for him since Hillary is basically “out of the running now”. I am told that a lot of Puerto Ricans think that this is true -since it is in the papers- so they are not going to bother going to the polls to vote. Obama is just using more of his dirty Chicago-style politics!!
Hello Super Delegates! Nancy Pelosi! Idiot Dean! Are you paying attention.
Four more years of a Republican presidency are sounding better and better all the time.
There was a time when I thought HRC should pick Obama as her vice president.
But now realize there’s too much Vice around him for even that position.
Obama is untouchable, and would wreck her chances.
True enough. Crazy Wright and Father Phlegm would bring her down.
yeah she would be constantly fixing his mistakes instead of doing things for the american people. it is as if she would have to be his mommy or something… really i can’t believe people are still liking obama after all these horrible relationships all around him, racists and radicals. this is crazy, the kool aid gets stronger and stronger and it is sickening.
I used to think he should be her vice too but not with all this stuff coming out about him.
werent axelrod an pfleger also involved in an astroturfing scheme for a chicago museum expansion against real grass roots activists? i’ll find the link later, maybe talkleft
MSM is just starting to dip its toe into Lake Michigan.
Funtime is just beginning.
Now that’s funny.
Go to the first link, which leads to the cached page from St. Sabina’s. If you look at the cache, David Axelrod’s name is the first one you see on the left.
BUT if you follow the link to download a printable copy of the letter as a pdf, Axelrod’s name does not appear.
So what happened between the HTML and pdf versions of the letter? Presumably one came from the other…
BS girl is troll. get lost troll.
It’s called “scrubbing”… something Obama’s and Obama-related internet sites have had a lot of practice doing the last couple of months. The screen capture is pre-scrub, while the embedded link is post.
I guess you live in Illinois, because if Obama is the nominee, that will be the ONLY Blue State.
yes by the time the repubs spill all the dirt, he will be lucky to even take illinois. i foresee a really red map in november… if it’s not hillary of course…
I live in IL, and I do not know a single person supporting Obama.
I live in Illinois too. I will not support Obama. I also don’t know anyone who is.
I agree that he is going to get crushed in the general election. I see him not even winning Ill. I think its going to be a complete disaster for the entire Democratic party because the fate of the top of the ticket really does affect the bottom down. All of the memebers of the house are up for reelection and I think the republicians are going to have a majority in both seats because I see angry democrats punishing Dems in the fall
The Obamites are howling at that TPM link you have there. Seems they cannot stomach anyone even talking about their savior. The article wasn’t even critical of Obama, they simply stated what happened.
Obamites, what a sorry bunch.
Gee…what a surprise! Axelrove has his fingers in every pie around.
Where will this crazy ride end??? I am hoping and praying at the convention in DEN with Clinton accepting the nomination for POTUS!
Pelosi, Reid, Dean - kiss my ENTIRE white, bitter, bible thumping, gun-toting, blue collar AXX!!

LMAO:-) Thanks for the smile today.
Do you have in your hand a list?
Tell me, again as usual I ask for empirical, contextualized intelligence…why is Obama a hatemonger for the people with whom he may or may not have been associated (and Larry is libelling the senator by linking him with Farakhan) but you are all OK with a human rights abusing thug who will do “everything he can” to make sure that Obama is not elected, hinting at how he likes “the second amendment.”
Various organizations have been informed about this blog. I have it on good authority that even Hilary’s campaign doesn’t approve.
TOOTSKY…CAPUT TUUM IN ANO EST !…waddle back to GAZA….
What’s your problem with Gaza? Are you in favor of how the Israeli government imprisons them, and even American-backed fulbright scholars from Gaza cannot leave their prison colony?
For shame.
haha, for a second there i misread his name to say *kaputski* haha
tootsky: Various organizations have been informed about this blog???? What does that mean? Sounds like a threat. Should commenters be worried? Should I keep my doors locked? Should I watch my back when I go outside? Or the threat is aimed just at Larry? Please explain…
What do Obamalamadingdongs not understand? Obama’s closest friends and advisers are racist, misogynist hate-mongers. Can it be made any clearer for you people or you just done care?
Senator Bernie Sanders just said on Thom Hartman’s radio program that Obama will be the nominee. There is no way I can be a member of the Democratic Party any longer.
tootsky — its not our fault Obama is dirty. He came out of nowhere promising a new kind of politics but what we have seen him do is split the Democratic Party and paint white workers as racist. You blame the bloggers but you should blame the media. These stories are out there but the MSM refuses to cover them.
The only people Obama hangs with are the race baters and America haters. And isn’t it amazing that he has known all these people for 20 years. The man has no shame but then neither does the Democratic Party who is pushing this dirty politican into the nomination.
who the heck are you tootsky, because obama goes to this church for 20 years and he has listened to this hate for 20 years, so even if he is not close associates, though he is, he sat there quiet and listened to it… he is weak. if he disagreed, he should have left the church or spoke out… so obviously this is the kind of leader he will be, one that sits by and lets everyone around him do all the dirty work without saying a word or getting stuff done at all. he is a puppet…
kanaughty — I disagree that Obama is weak. I think this image of Obama was manufactured years ago. You think with racists and America hating pals like this he doesn’t have an agenda?
Remember Obama’s Foreign Policy Advisor (by the way most of his FP advisors are anti Israel) Amanda Power said that Obama doesn’t believe in electionocracy. He would like less elections because it confuses people. However, he has to deal with the current members of Congress because he can’t do nothing about them. A man full of hate who doesn’t believe in elections. Now where have I heard that before?????????
Russia when it was ruled by the Commies and in most other totalitarian countries.
And beyond a minority of folks who wouldn’t vote for Obama anyway - no one cares about your “revelations”. no one wants 100 more years of war. If Larry Johnson does, then he can go ahead and find himself a Sirhan, as he no doubt fantasizes.
Obama has never lived up to one campaign promise in his entire life. As a resident of Chicago, no one knows this better than I do. Are you really saying that we should vote for this racist clown so that he can break that promise too? Obama will accomplish nothing as POTUS. Oh wait that’s not entirely true. His Chicago buddies will get richer. Jesus are people really this blind?
So you’d prefer an irrational man with a bad temper having access to the nuclear trigger?
Yeah
yes at least if mccain hits the button it wont be b/c he got CONFUSED about which button to press….
perhaps Barry will accidentially blow up one of the 8 states that do not exist except for in his mind.
To Obama? Definitely. Obama will just hand over this country to his pals in Pakistan.
Yes. At least I’m sure Mccain won’t try and aim the missiles at us. Not so sure about Barry.
Billy Ayers, Sec. of Defense.
Absolutely! At least Mccain won’t point the missiles at us. Obama and his crazy pastors keep saying America needs to pay for it’s crimes. Holy Hopium Batman!
Hey LBJ…How’s Obama and his fascists gonna fit all us CRACKERS in Utah….chuckle….
Nah, Ayers would be his Secretary of Education.
yes, i would rather have someone who loves this country and is not a racist have access to the nuclear trigger… f obama sincerely, he doesn’t even deserve to be a senator…
Amen to that.
Yes I would. Tootsky, I see and live everyday the kind of mess that Obama carries with him. The man and his cronies are an absolute joke. Illinois politics is probably the most corrupt in the country. I honestly believe that the last 8 years will be nothing compared to Obama and the Chicago Machine taking over the White House. In a perfect world Obama will lose the election (even to McCain ) and some of this Chicago crap will come to light and people will go to jail. I for one am tired of paying for all this shit.
Keep whistling in the dark over there. In the meantime, the DNC will be hosting thousands of Hillary supporters tomorrow, and they all are saying the same thing. They’ll vote for McCain if Hillary is not the nominee.
McCain got great press today. He’s the new Barry Goldwater. Finally, the man’s moderate stances are about to pay off for the Republicans in a big way. I even saw a great piece on how his judicial appointments are likely to be very acceptable to a lot of moderate Democrats.
Obama hit 52 disapproval rating today. Imagine that. The Golden Boy is not exactly winning over people strutting around with the crown on his head, branded by Pelosi and Company. Seems people don’t like the fella and are liking him less and less.
But you can believe, as Obama does apparently, that it’s just a few “sore losers.”
I hope he continues to ignore the problem. In fact, I’m counting on it. His ego wouldn’t allow him to see the writing on the wall.
Anyone arrogant enough to name this priest as part of his campaign group is simply too bizarre to be considered seriously.
I think the head-to-head polls next week will show an even more serious dip, particularly when people get wind that he’s using the same tactics with SDs as in caucuses.
The dam is just about to break entirely.
Wait until you hear what’s really been going on.
It’s going to be the doozy story of a lifetime.
yes, i am waiting for 3 scandals to come out today to beat yesterdays two scandals… the flood gates are opening finally
go hillary!!! keep fighting for us and we’ll keep fighting for you!!!
annin — great post. Glad to hear about McCain’s good press. He is about to get millions of Hillary Dems so I hope he treats us right. In years to come the picture of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi defying the will of the people will replace that of Dukukis on the tank–the two dumbest Democrats destroy the party as millions of Democrats make a quick exit.
tootsky — if you don’t care why are you here. Your idol has feet of clay. It remains to be seen what his real agenda would be if he became president.
Look, everybody…..tootsky LOVES when you respond.
Just ignore him/her. Don’t respond.
He’s not my idol.
Hillary Clinton supporting loons are my enemy

The corruption continues–From Chicago to Texas:
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/casey/5808894.html
I heard rumors of that earlier today. Glad to see it out in the open.
From the link above:
“I made the comment that I may need to jump over to Hillary’s side because I’m not going to be treated like a dish rag,” she said.I asked if she was serious.”I’m very serious if they keep trying to get me out of the race and I learn that Obama is behind it,” she said.
Amen, my dear. Welcome to the Obamanation. He throws women under the bus, but more importantly he often throws AA’s under the bus. It’s going to be bitter pill of betrayal for many to swallow.
Thanks BMC….I HOPE THE STATE OF TEXAS EXPLODES SHIT ALL OVER OBAMA….annnnnd that would be a lot of sheeeeit !….great story ! lol
The shitkickers have come home to kick…..chuckle….
A picture is worth a 1000 words, and this little story from Texas is a picture of what the new politics looks like. It looks a lot like old school Chicago politics.
Not too long ago there were a couple of posts saying Obama was in trouble now because hed made “the sisters” mad. I’m a thinking black women aren’t too fond of Obama. On the other hand, at his point “the sisters” might be a band of disgruntled nuns that don’t want to see the obamadisaster anywhere near Washington. Hard to tell with his disapproval rating soaring.
I’m amazed by the lack of judgment in linking himself to this priest at all. It shows an incredible lack of insight into how national politics works. Remember the famous words, “I won’t be swiftboated!”
*whew*…it’s a tsunami of revelations coming.
It’s the same lack of judgment when he said, “My supporters won’t vote for her, but I’m sure I’ll get her supporters.”
These people should be in jail. Why haven’t people looked into this before? Did they really believe that Obama floated to the top of the biggest pigstye in politics without getting shit on himself? Obama is in “tight” with all of them. I would bet that 65-70 % of his campaign contributions (bundles) are coming out of Chicago. What a great day it would be if Obama and these clowns go down.

Let’s remind everyone that Pfleger backed up Farrakhan in a 2006 controversy over some remarkable Farrakhan bile. Pfleger criticized a mass resignation of Jewish members on a state of Illinois hate crimes commission: http://www.nbc5.com/news/7782149/detail.html?rss=chi&psp=news
What was the issue? A member of the commission, Sister Claudette Marie Muhammad, was the Nation of Islam’s minister of protocol.
The three Jewish commission members who resigned wanted Muhammad to repudiate Farrakhan’s criticism of Jews, gays and other groups. The Jewish Community Relations Council, representing 46 Chicago-area groups, passed a resolution supporting the three commission members.
Here’s the quote from Farrakhan that Pfleger implicitly supported. http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/objects/pages/PrintArticleEn.jhtml?itemNo=698094
When is the media going to expose the Nation of Islam and Farahkan’s ties to Obama? We don’t have to worry about another nation nuking us — Obama is destroying us from within.
Now Nancy and Harry are pulling out all the stops to make this freak our nominee. This song says it all — CAN’T YOU SEE WE’RE ON THE EVE OF DESTRUCTION?
There are none so blind as those who will not see.
I’ll raise you one Marc Rich over all the shit that you’re smearing. Perhaps Hillary will be outed too.
What part of, “that’s old news and apparently everyone either doesn’t care” are you NOT understanding when we say “ALL OF HILLARY’S NEGATIVES ARE IN THE OPEN?”
Mark Rich? Yawn.
Crazy ass racist preachers - THAT’S what gets America talking.
He’s getting paid by response. Don’t dignify his crap. He’s a crazy communist coot …. or is in his addled brain.
The Clinton’s open marriage and bisexuality? We all know about it, but more details can be delivered.
Delurking.
That innuendo is too disgusting for words, and indicates a mentality that I personally find distasteful. Have you no shame?
He has no shame. Only hate.
The Hope of Hate: Obama 08!
I LIKE THAT
TRUEEEEEEEEEEEEE
HT: Just ignore the old bastard … he is only upset that Obama hasn’t asked him to kneel for him …. he’s hoping to get someone’s attention — anyone’s — he doesn’t seem to be too choosey.
I want you to repent of your sins by saying three Hail Mary’s and four Our Father’s. Or in Obama style —- well we won’t go there.
I don’t believe Hillary is a bi-sexual, you are obviously one who think she has a little green alien baby too… but are Obama supporters against homosexuality now? There is another preacher that says Obama and Rev. Wright are lovers. That is nothing proved yet. My mother, a republican, poor thing, thinks he is the Anti-Christ. There are lots of rumors out there, BUT some things are undenialible = This church is racist against 75% of the U.S. Blacks are only 13% in the country, this racial divisive stuff won’t win the GE.
Well lets be honest lets say that Hillary is bisexual which I do not believe and lets say Obama is bisexual it is more acceptable for a woman to be bisexual than it is for a man. The AAs are very homophobic and more so when the Homosexual is a male. That is a fact of life. I still do not believe that Hillary is bi but if she is so what.
Ken Starr and 70 million could only prove women love Bill…a lot. The man is a chick magnet.
Tootsky ! Commodum Habitus Es ! Si me Rogas, Morologus Es !….Now waddle back to GAZA….
tootsky — wow thats a biggy lolol. Get a life or go to the Huffington Post where crap like that is welcomed.
The Reverand Moss at the January MLK service is the daddy of the Reverand Moss at TUUC …. he just retired as the pastor of a very well connected church here in Cleveland.
tootski,
What I question is the alleged judgement of Obama. Keeps affiliations with people like Wright and Pfleger, who cannot but help popping off and creating damage. The issues are disenfranchisement, and whether this man is electable, and quite frankly whether he deserves the high office which he seeks. I for one thinks he doesn’t merit that office, and given his lack of experience, his associations, his affiliations, his profoundly bad judgement, arrogant elitist and sexist attitude. And I was not a clinton supporter, I grew to respect the hell out of her because I want a fighter, and that she is in buckets. Do you think that the karl rove run republican attack machine isn’t going to use the vastly abundant amount of material available to them to roast Obama? Hell, they had to make shit up about Gore and Kerry. Here it is in the public media, waiting for them to pick it up and throw against a wall to see what sticks, its free for the taking, the only dilemma is that there is so much available they may fall down in a seizure from sensory overload.

Seek the truth, embrace it, and act accordingly.
Larry is a DIAMOND! Obama is a lump of coal.
lump of coal
oh no -he is a big gutter of shitt
Some folks have asked about the priest’s status within the Catholic church. Here’s a quote from today’s Chicago Sun-Times.
Chicago Sun-Times religion reporter Mike Thomas asked Cardinal Francis George’s office for a reaction, and his spokeswoman, Colleen Dolan said, ”The cardinal has made it clear to Father Pfleger in the past on more than one occasion that it’s inappropriate to speak about political issues from the pulpit and that his own personal opinions are his own personal opinions.”
In other words, Daley, Axelrod, Giannoulias, Wright, Obama and Farrakhan have too much influence over the Chicago Archdiocese.

Quote:
“On a national level, we don’t count much, and it’s very special that somebody of this caliber would come to Billings,” said 58-year-old Linda Harris, a lawyer from Shepherd, Mont., who came out to support Sen. Clinton’s rally there. “It isn’t curiosity,” she said of the reason people turned out to see the candidate. “It’s an absolute faith in what this woman can do for this country at a very critical time in our history.”
http://www.online.wsj.com/article/SB1212…googlenews_wsj
it was on hillforum –very touchy
It would appear the good priest is a weeeee bit off the reservation, as far as his diocese is concerned.
Yeah but its the RCC, remember they kept shifting pedophile priests around parish to parish.
In another section of that tape he goes on about RAPE … don’t you think that’s a word that the Vatican would prefer a Priest not use? I’m just sayin’ …
Strange group of guys … what happened to the Crusades argument? How does the “good” Father fit in with all of that …
I found that part about rape, really creepy. In fact, I’m offended by all the talk of sexual assault while similtaniously humping the podium like Rev Wright did. There is something so misogynistic and perverted about that church, that it reminds of the sexual perversions of fascism.
Rape is not a talking point, it’s not something to be used as a political tool. And listening to them talk about it over and over and over and again is really creepy.
I was raised Catholic, and I’m sure if Father Pfleger were our parish priest, my mother couldn’t have dragged us out of there FAST ENOUGH! Much less sit there for 20 years…
yes but the Pope is very against Liberation Theology VERY
I contacted the Vatican as did many others
I am hoping they come down on the bishop and cardinal who wont do anything to rtemind them liberation theology is heretical for RCC
ginaswo….The Pope has been fighting Liberation Theology and it’s spread for 40 years….keep spreading the word and that link ( I could not get it to work though ) and tell folks to mention LT endorsed at St. Sabina’s…good job….This shit is fascism….
ginaswo–please explain Black Liberation Theology. I can’t find anything on it.
S. Hall….Look up James Cone he is the architect of Black Liberation Theology…
If you go to the Catholic Encyclopedia they have plenty on Liberation Theology….James Cone took Liberation Theology and added Racism to it by redefining the marxist class struggle as being a racial struggle. In a nut shell…Liberation Theology changes the identity of Jesus and the theology of salvation. It reduces Jesus to being merely an historical militant fighting for Social Justice. Salvation is gained through engaging in the class struggle for Social Justice. It uses the classic Marxist argument for eliminating social structures and replacing them with collective. It is dangerous for 3 main reasons as defined by the RCC and specifically Pope Benedict…
1. It is heretical as it contradicts fundamental Christian Theology about Jesus and Christology especially in relation to Salvation and fundamental values of the Church…
2. It uses Marxist analysis ( solutions ) to solve social ills and encourages salvation through militantism…
3. It seduces ordinary christians to Marxism and class warfare…
Liberation Theology swept Latin America…El Salvador and Nicaragua andno matter what folks say the result was mixed and it ended up a big mess with the Priests being shoved out by the Marxists….
They are very detailed as to the theological argument…Now Cone took the rudiments of this Theology and added Racism…The class struggle according to Cone is a racial struggle….This of course is fascism…
Look on this site. Yesterday there were 3 easy u-tubes that were an excellent education on the players, theories, etc.
“tax the churches. tax the businesses owned by the churches.”

That’s one quick way to fix the country and economy.
“Burn Down the Malls!”
All these churches are part of elaborate financial machine in Chicago. And yes, Axelrod does orchestrate the activities of these churches. It leads one to wonder why Axelrod asked Pfleger to utter the words he did in the God Damn America Church in inner city Chicago. To whom are they appealing? And who are the intended recipients of Pfleger’s sermon? Are they warning superdelegates with Pfleger’s words? Or is Axelrod attempting to incite violence?
SHUT THE FUCK UP TOOTSKY! you bore the shit out of me! that WILL be the last time I even ackknowledge your stupidity!
I’m here to fuck with you.
You all need to be woken up. Everyone else knows you’re finished. If for some reason the party hands the nomination to Hillary, you’ll see 1968. Fine by me.
As long as Obama isn’t elected, I’m happy.
Go back to school and learn grammar . . .please!
Tootsky…( sigh )…Puto vos esse molestissimos…Qualem Blennum !
what part of we don’t care don’t you understand? Threats do no good. go fornicate with yourself.
Silly fool.
1968 will happen regardless…
“The Democrats eventually nominated Humphrey, who went on to lose the election to Richard M. Nixon. The confusion of the convention, and the unhappiness of many liberals with the outcome, led the Democrats to begin reforms of their nominating process, increasing the role of primaries and decreasing the power of party delegates in the selection process.”
Thanks for memories.
I think the Dems are going to combine 1968 with 1972 and break their own record for snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory.
Unless hillary manages to prevail which she just might do.
Wasn’t it Richard J. Daley — Richie Daley’s father who claimed at the Convention in 68 that the Hippies put LSD in the drinking water?
You’re so scary!
I’m surprised the Tootskinator wants a repeat of 1968, since the unrest of 1968 played a big role in sending many old-style Democrats rightward into the GOP, which led to the current period of GOP/conservative hegemony in US politics.
That period of hegemony wasn’t very good for Communism overseas, either. Of the two major Communist powers, the USSR collapsed, while the People’s Republic of China morphed from Maoism into a system of authoritarian state capitalism that resembles fascism more than Communism, although it does remain just as despotic as the old Maoism.
No, you need to get a life. Look sweetie, when I was 20, you sure as hell couldn’t find me behind a computor, trying to put lip stick on one ugly ass pig, I was out in the world…backpacking my way from Asia to Europe and back. Meeting people face to face. Seriously, go take a walk, get some fresh air, get laid. Ya know, live a little?
No,
I would prefer a woman with a high level of experience than a junior intern with ties to louie farrakhan

Donna Brazile - she’s abusive
——————————————————————————–
Several of my friends and I have been e-mailing Donna Brazile - donna@brazileassociates.com — no matter what we say if we mention Hillary Clinton’s name she comes back with a nasty rude response. Each and every time.
Example -[color="Blue"] Ms Brazile,
As a Superdelegate, your responsibility to the Democratic Party is to choose the candidate who can win in November.
As this race comes to an end Hillary Clinton is that candidate. She will beat John McCain in Novermber.
For the good of the democratic party, please make the only choice possible, select Senator Clinton.
Donna Brazile’s response - [color="Purple"]You can make up your own mind. So will I have time to do what is right. But [COLOR=”I will not base my decision on arguments generated by the passions of partisans.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Please respect those of us who like both and I will never denigrate or demonize one in order to justify my support for the other.
You are pleased to make your choice. Respect my choice too.
Donna
Read the original e-mail - it was NOT negative at all.
She sites on the Rules & Committe team which meets tomorrow. She’s also a superdelegate. She hasn’t come out in favor of “barry” but it’s clear with her paid pundit post at CNN she’s totally in love with him.
Let the Democratic Party know, have your voice heard. Here is a link to the Hillary Clinton Supports Count Too web site that has an email listing for Dean, Pelosi, Richardson, etc. Send an email to let them know Hillary Supporters Count!.

Here is the response of the Catholic Church in Chicago
STATEMENT OF FRANCIS CARDINAL GEORGE, O.M.I.,
ARCHBISHOP OF CHICAGO
Friday, May 30, 2008
Statement of Cardinal Francis George concerning remarks of
Fr. Michael Pfleger about Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton during
an address at Trinity United Church of Christ on Sunday May 25, 2008
The Catholic Church does not endorse political candidates. Consequently, while a priest must speak to political issues that are also moral, he may not endorse candidates nor engage in partisan campaigning.
Racial issues are both political and moral and are also highly charged. Words can be differently interpreted, but Fr. Pfleger’s remarks about Senator Clinton are both partisan and amount to a personal attack. I regret that deeply.
To avoid months of turmoil in the church, Fr. Pfleger has promised me that he will not enter into campaigning, will not publicly mention any candidate by name and will abide by the discipline common to all catholic priests.
He should lose his parish.
He probably will…Cardinal George will be under heavy fire…already is that is a swift response for the RCC…it will build…Pfleger is probably being asked to arrange a leave….Priests are in short supply and the bishops are spread thin…Chicago is a big Parish takes time to fill gaps.
When Dallas was dealing with the aftermath in 95 we had to import a Bishop from NJ….He was terrific…He did double duty cross country…
WCA, you in Dallas?
Yeah…My kid went to Holy Trinity bout the smallest and poorest parish school and church. That Bishop saved our diocese as we were reeling from that evil Rudy Koss and were on the brink as the scandal became Natonal. The Good Bishop from NJ came back every year to officiate the confirmation of what he called ” His Kids” from the 8th graders in 95 all the way to my kids class in 2004….When he came back for the last time in 2004 the church was packed and his homily moved the congregation to tears….For every one bad priest there are many very good priests and nuns world wide…
His name was Bishop Galante from NJ and that man healed our parish….The program he initiated for reform became the model adopted by the American College of Bisops and it is working…Pope Benedict held a meeting with survivors of abuse when he was in America…The RCC has many problems but we can overcome them and I believe we will….
I am sure that some how this will be the Clintons’ fault, as it always is ….
Email the Holy Father, Pope Benedict, at:
benedictxvi@vatican.va
Tell him you are outraged by the behavior of Father Pfleger.
Done! Great idea and thanks for the link.
Cool,
The pope has e-mail! and nice red prada slippers. I’ll ask him to be my myspace friend, then I’ll have two degrees of separation from God.
Oh, I’m agnostic, the pope won’t be my friend.
LOL. Thanx.
Please simply label the trolls and move on. We have work to do.

I sent her an email back that said that if she was going to “decide” for me who the Democratic nominee is, I sure as heck am a “constiuent” and I expected an answer to my question. DO THESE PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THAT THEY CAN BE FIRED via the ballot box?
It looked to me like just a photo op deal where she and Reid will take credit.
Dumb stuff. She’s a goofball.
beebop — Just called Sen. Reid’s office. I am a Nevada resident. I told the person who answered that they needed to leave this nomination process continue because new things are coming out everyday about Obama and his associations with people who hate America and anti-semites. I told her that Sen. Reid’s son was Campaign Chair for Hillary in Nevada and that we really need to let this process continue to the nomination because if we don’t we will end up with a nominee nobody wants.
oops I started to spittle all over myself like those Obamaphiles and misspelled NO Quarter..LMAO…Thats what happens when you orbit in Obama’s Universe! LMAO!
I am hoping that Sen. Clinton will stick it out long enough for Obama to finally implode….shouldn’t be much longer now…
hi tvlcrazy!!
*waves*
ALL THE WAY TO DENVER AND THE WHITE HOUSE BABY!!
BOOYAH!!!
HILLYEAH!!!
tvlcrazy — So do I but its up to the media to cover the implosion. Right now they are bound and determined to put him in no matter what.
Jacques Berlinerblau is program director and associate professor of Jewish Civilization at the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. He writes for Post/Newsweek. Here is his take on Pfleger. http://newsweek.washingtonpost.com/onfaith/georgetown/2008/05/pursuing_the_jewish_vote.html
To avoid months of turmoil in the church, Fr. Pfleger has promised me that he will not enter into campaigning, will not publicly mention any candidate by name and will abide by the discipline common to all catholic priests.
Does the “discipline” include spanking?
no, they’ll make him have female altar attendents
Holy Shit that was funny!
I was struck by the fact that even though performing schtick and being a flamer, Pfleger isn’t funny. No Faux Cage for him. Maybe just a prison cell at Camp Xray or a rubber room because he is either evil or demented or both.
Well up here in the boston area we had a little “trouble” in the Archdiocese. And some of those naughty priests had to be moved around to molest as many children as possible. Now if Bernie Law had not been a cardinal, and had been a CEO of a corporation, and had covered up for pedophiles for years, he would have gone to Jail, instead he got transferred to the Vatican to a nicer post.
The RCC just pisses me off. Richest private org in the world, and they let this freak Pfleger play wanna be homeboy in a radical church.
I hope she takes it all the way to the convention. I don’t think Barack Hussein can stay politically viable through the summer.
First they came for the Jews
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the Communists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for me
and there was no one left
to speak out for me.

There is something REALLY wrong with a church that has to hire a consultant to manage its image.
It’s one thing for the guest pastor to issue an apology after he was caught in his hate-filled rant. What is most telling, however, is the fact that no one in the congregation appeared to be shocked or offended - they were all fully immersed in the frenzy. That’s where the real problem is. They should have all gotten up and walked out in protest. An un-biased compassionate human would not have been able to be a part of that.
That church doesn’t have an image problem; it has a genuine problem.
Feed the hate. Obama 08.
No, I have to say that that is not the case. It was true with what we saw for Unca Jerry, but if you go back and look, there are some really crazy people jumping around and high fiving, but there are some elderly women sitting and not looking happy about the “performance.” I think it is essential to be fair in this and not everyone at TUUC was lapping this up like fat kittens. There were some very unhappy women in that audience.
They should have done something about it then. The thing that scares me about all this, is does BO give another “discussions on race in america” speech. chris matthews soils himself again in ectasy, and it goes away. This is systemic. If you sit there and are silent, you are participating in condoning it. Just like BO. he sat in that place for 20+ years, and condoned it all with his presence and/or lack of comment either about it or against it. Now when it goes public, he denounces it. These crazy assholes have been spewing this garbage for years, and they were listed as spiritual advisers. That isn’t ignorant, its just plain stupid. And we have currently a stupid man in the white house and I for one would prefer someone smart, like Sen. Clinton.
I am not disagreeing with you. But it takes a lot of courage to go against your community. Some of these congregants have probably been there since the beginning and like us resent their church being hi-jacked by the new comers. Expecting the oldest to be the bravest is not likely. They are more inclined to disappear. Which is what the party is counting on insofar as the elderly Democratic voter. First they tell you not to vote. Then they pray that you’ll be dead in four years so they don’t have to both hood winkin’ ya’ … no more okie doke wasted on ya’.
Who Is Good With Writing
pls write diaries at MYDD
and when you do that just post it on pro-hill sites
we will support you
we can not let MYDD become like DAILYKOS,,,,
You know, I think that this Pfleger thing is just so offensive that people need to band together and demand Obama resign from the race due to being associated with a racist church.
Because look, if this were the opposite, a white candidate at a church that was spewing hate towards blacks, the candidate would have resigned already.
So we should get organized and start a group of people demanding that Obama resign from the race due to his association with reverse racists.
Karen,
Many of us have been banned from MyDD. I’m afraid they’ve become like the Daily Hemorrhoid already.
I am sure ,we can find new people who supp our hillary acn join mydd.com
We must not let that happen .
We must keep writing and putting up the fight there ,thats what Hillary does AND thats what we gotta do .
If they troll us –we can troll them too .
God Damn It –Fuck them up ,
Look, why stay where people are being banned? I was fine with Huffpo until they started banning Hillary supporters.
That’s just over-the-line dishonesty. We were polite and followed the guidelines.
So, the way I look at it is that they made an executive decision to serve only one niche. That’s a private site. They are allowed. And they get to do that, but why pretend it’s anything more than a PR site?
I personally won’t click Taylor Marsh’s links anymore because she too often kicks me into HuffPo.
The forumla for what HuffPo did is simple. We’re starting to see this same forumla on other sites. I’ll support the ones that offer free speech. I have no problem with moderating out threats, true trolling, etc.
I do have a problem when a site claims to not restrict opposing opinions and then turns around and does just that. That’s just plain ole’ BS.
And it’s BS to ban pro-Hillary diaries.
This type of activity is EXACTLY why very reasonable people all over the country are fed up and speaking out and taking busses to Washington to make themselves heard.
It hasn’t been just “that” woman they wanted to shut up. It’s been all of us.
Yes and we have better things to do
let them be another Obamanaut echo chamber if that is what they want
I will be at NoQuarter
There’s something Quiotic about that.
a. He will never do it
b. It would be fun
c. but we would be called racists
What I don’t get is that if any other candidate, even for county dog catcher, belonged to the KKK or Aryan Brotherhood (I hear they throw swell cookouts, by the way), orthe American Nazi Party, the MSM would be howling. They just only report it when their inboxes fill up with youtube or blog links. Then BO gives a speech and it as hailed as next to I Have a Dream, or the Kennedy Inaguaral, chris matthews soils himself with delight, and BO rolls on.

sorry bout that double pump
Thats the great hypocrisy in this country today.
If a white, hispaic or asian were to have said that, the world would have come to an end! People have become so scared of AA backlash that no-one will call this what it is! Reverse racism! And if you believe that this does not occur, you really need to get out more often. It Has and It does!
What’s very sad about this is going to be in the future. There is now a real backlash going on. In the future, voters will be asking some questions about AA candidates that, heretofore, have been considered impolite.
They will be grilled on their attitudes on this issue.
People simply aren’t going to tolerate this type of racism. We are not going to live in a country where calling people “whitey” is any more acceptable than using derogatory labels from those of other races.
That’s just not going to happen.
One thing that is clear. His numbers were already tanking. This will sink him entirely.
Haven’t you noticed? Nobody cares about this crap except you suckers. Obama is not these other people. What Hillary has herself said is far more damning. Keep huffing and puffing and banging your heads against the wall though. It’s entertaining! lol
Yeah, nobody cares.
See his unfavorability rating today? Higher than Hillary or McCain. 52%. That’s a 30 point drop in less than 60 days and doesn’t even involve this latest tidbit.
Obama is not fit to hold any public office. Put that in your crack-pipe and smoke it, you will get more out of the pipe than you will from Obama.
See, that is where you are wrong. You probably don’t go to church, too hung over from beer bongs and XTC from the night before, I suspect. But America is one the most religious countries on Earth. Most people here consider themselves one religon or another. So they understand and comprehend just how much influence a religous or “spiritual leader” has in a person’s life. For most people, it’s up there with family and country. So when those people with different religous views see Rev. Wright and Fr. Pfleger prance around like nut jobs and spout hate towards whitey, give us your 401Ks, and women are ho’s…well that tends to make even the most unpolitical person sit up and take notice. Besides, if you weren’t worried about Barky and all his fuck ups, you wouldn’t be here. You’d be out doing beer bongs and XTC. And you wouldn’t sound so defensive. That’s the dead give away, honeybuns.
Thats the Media feeding you a bowl of Bulls***! I don’t believe anything the ObamaNewsNetworks tell me. They have been so wrong this whole primary. I Suspect they are Trying to suppress the vote in PR
They are clinging to each other at Huffingtonpoop and Dbecause and PRAYING for this to be OVER so that they can start to breathe again. Every time they think that they are in the clear, their boy flushes the commode again …. It is almost predictable. I honestly think he wants to lose.
beebop — when Obama implodes I see a mass reorganization at most major media outlets especially hard hit will be the Obama ejaculaters like Obermann, Matthews and Cafferty.
Obama is your person if you are looking for a black jesus, a black mohammed, a black buddha, a black zoroastrian, a black hindu, a black rastafarian, a black shinto, a black cao dai, a black jain, a black tenrikyo, a black juche, a black agnostic atheist, a black neo pagan, a black african traditionalist, a black panther, a black liar, a black ass-hole, a black racist–Obama is all things to all people, except a president.
>>> a black zoroastrian
Phew! Thank the Flying Spaghetti Monster that my Left-Handed, Albino Zoroastrian friends will be safe from Senator No-Rhythm and his Hope-a-Dope campaign!
Hey, he’s also half white, don’t forget that. And what was his mom anyhow? What was her maiden name?
OOOOO….you said Black…. Be careful Irish…THEY ARE WATCHING US! LMAO
WHITE POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol!
“Typical Harps, clinging to their religion, their families, their traditions of service to country and community…”
I caught a bit of Lynn Sweet Chi sun times on Fox talking about the good Father and how Obama’s people are angry. Also saw Joel Ferguson (AA) from the R & B committee — he is a Hillary supporter and said all the right things about FL and MI.
Lynn Sweet was great.
She also emphasized the federal government earmarks that Obama had hustled for this Catholic priest’s church.
You can bet your bottom dollar that the RNC will 527 the fact that Obama funneled our tax dollars to this racist, anti-Semitic priest.
Watch for an FBI sweep, too.
Mary what a wonderful scandal that is. Bush can use the FBI to investigate Obama. I love it. The payoffs, the bribes, the threats. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEES
mydd.com makes you wait a week to post.
interesting line of “reasoning” there, the white on black assasination, and no woman seeking office has been assasinated
lets see
lincoln, killed by a white man
garfield, killed by a white man
Mckinley, killed by a white man
T. Roosevelt, shot by a white man while running as an independant
Truman, shot at by puerto rican nationalists
kennedy, killed by a white man working for/with the soviets/cubans/mafia or aliens depending upon your particular paranoia
ford, shot at by white women
reagan, shot by white man
MLK killed by a white man
Malcom X, killed by the nation of islam
America being destroyed by a black man
That would be a half white man.
>> and no woman seeking office has been assasinated
Didn’t the Gov of Arizona, a woman, get shot in the butt a few years back over some stadium funding issue?
Or was I having drug/PTSD flashbacks that week?
must of missed that one. I was just making the point in over 200 years of major politcal figures gettin’ whacked here in America, only once was it white on black, and only twice did it occur across racial boundaries. In fact most homicide/attempted homicide occurs within racial groups. See, I can lie with stats!
A bit off topic but interesting just the same….
Healing the wounds of Democrats’ sexism
Email|Print|Single Page| Text size – + By Geraldine A. Ferraro
May 30, 2008
LAST YEAR at the beginning of the presidential primary season, Democrats were giddy with excitement. Not only did we have an embarrassment of riches in our candidates but we had two historic candidacies to enjoy. Once and for all our country would show that racism and sexism were not part of our 21st-century DNA.
Here we are at the end of the primary season, and the effects of racism and sexism on the campaign have resulted in a split within the Democratic Party that will not be easy to heal before election day. Perhaps it’s because neither the Barack Obama campaign nor the media seem to understand what is at the heart of the anger on the part of women who feel that Hillary Clinton was treated unfairly because she is a woman or what is fueling the concern of Reagan Democrats for whom sexism isn’t an issue, but reverse racism is.
The reaction to the questions being raised has been not to listen to the message and try to find out how to deal with the problem, but rather to denigrate the messenger. Sore loser, petty, silly, vengeful are words that have dominated the headlines. But scolding and name calling don’t resolve disputes. The truth is that tens of thousands of women have watched how Clinton has been treated and are not happy. We feel that if society can allow sexism to impact a woman’s candidacy to deny her the presidency, it sends a direct signal that sexism is OK in all of society.
In response, a group of women - from corporate executives to academics to members of the media - have requested that the Shorenstein Center at Harvard University and others conduct a study, which we will pay for if necessary, to determine three things.
First, whether either the Clinton or Obama campaign engaged in sexism and racism; second, whether the media treated Clinton fairly or unfairly; and third whether certain members of the media crossed an ethical line when they changed the definition of journalist from reporter and commentator to strategist and promoter of a candidate. And if they did to suggest ethical guidelines which the industry might adopt.
That sexism impacted Clinton’s campaign, I have no doubt. Did she lose a close election because of sexism? I don’t know. But I do know that it will never happen again as long as women are willing to stand up and make sure that it is just a one-time bad experience.
As for Reagan Democrats, how Clinton was treated is not their issue. They are more concerned with how they have been treated. Since March, when I was accused of being racist for a statement I made about the influence of blacks on Obama’s historic campaign, people have been stopping me to express a common sentiment: If you’re white you can’t open your mouth without being accused of being racist. They see Obama’s playing the race card throughout the campaign and no one calling him for it as frightening. They’re not upset with Obama because he’s black; they’re upset because they don’t expect to be treated fairly because they’re white. It’s not racism that is driving them, it’s racial resentment. And that is enforced because they don’t believe he understands them and their problems. That when he said in South Carolina after his victory “Our Time Has Come” they believe he is telling them that their time has passed.
Whom he chooses for his vice president makes no difference to them. That he is pro-choice means little. Learning more about his bio doesn’t do it. They don’t identify with someone who has gone to Columbia and Harvard Law School and is married to a Princeton-Harvard Law graduate. His experience with an educated single mother and being raised by middle class grandparents is not something they can empathize with. They may lack a formal higher education, but they’re not stupid. What they’re waiting for is assurance that an Obama administration won’t leave them behind.
Hope, change, and inspiration don’t do it. A speech on racism might persuade editorial boards, but to these voters it’s “just words.” Obama has less than six months to make the case.
Geraldine A. Ferraro, a former vice presidential candidate, resigned from Clinton’s Finance Committee in March.
Just because I am white doesn’t mean I have to be silent about things I care for. Just because I am white does not mean I do not care for my country. Just because I am white does not exclude me from my constitutional rights. Just because I am white I am just as proud of my heritage and culture as any african is of theirs.
And another………..
Via Politico, the Pew Research Center has a new report, available here, finding 49% of white women and 35% of Democratic white women now have a negative perception of Obama. Politico summarizes:
Forty-nine percent of white women view Obama unfavorably, while only 43 percent hold a favorable opinion. In February, 36 percent of these women viewed Obama unfavorably, while 56 percent had a positive perception of the likely Democratic nominee.
Over the same period, Democratic white women’s negative view of Obama increased from 21 percent to 35 percent, while their positive view decreased from 72 percent to 60 percent — roughly the same rate as white women overall.
I read that this am in Pravda, I mean the boston globe, good article. it’s the hard truth. When I was finishing my degree I was one “diversity” core away from the requirement, the two I had to choose from that fit my schedule were Political Economy of Black America, or Women’s Political Economy. I took the BA one, what an eye opener. According to the prof. and the texts, AAs cannot be racist, and the real kicker was All whites are GENETICALLY RACIST. his case for economic reparations was that even a newly arrived immigrant, say from Ireland or Russia, was just as culpable as Tom Jefferson, George Washington, Robert E. Lee. I being one of three whites in the course, argued at length with him, to no avail. I got along great with my classmates, and some of the AA students would privately agree with my points.
I wonder if he is BOs econ advisor.
As a Republican I never thought I’d say it, but I so wish Hillary would win this primary. And not because I think she is beatable–no, I think she is a far, far, far better choice than Obama, who is extremely inexperienced and dangerously left leaning.
I may not like Hillary or her politics, but i must admit she would make a far better president than Obama. What the heck happened?
Stooooooopidity!
Like nominating Goldwater in ‘64.
Both parties have substantial Lemming Wings. Yours gets excited about other people’s uteruses and JAY-zus!
Ours wants to tear itself apart about shit that happened before our great grandparents were born.
M thank you for that. I wish I knew what happened. This is the first time I can remember where the media pushed so hard for one candidate. If you get a chance take a look at The O’Reilly Factor’s website. I wish I could pull up the video. O’Reilly does a rant against the rest of the media taking down Hillary. It was very moving. If Hillary doesn’t get the nomination I will vote for McCain. He is a good man who loves this country and maybe with millions of Democrats voting for him he will save Social Security and work on a plan to have Healthcare for All Americans. There are some Republicans talking about McCain picking Hillary as VP. God that would be the best news. Ya think???
What has made me smile in the last few months is that I find myself watching Fox News. Something I have never done before. They are fair and balanced and I believe they are Americans first and Republicans second.
Did anyone see Hillary’s interview in 1996 about her book It Takes a Village on c-span last night. It was great! It proved to me once again that Obama is so green. Hillary was talking about the same stuff in 1996. Obama the plagerizer, most of his “new” talking points could have been taken from this interview and book. She could talk about policy and issues for hours. She is incredible, her ideas and knowledge unsurpassed. I was so proud of her watching that interview. All I could think is “she must be our President”. If Obama wins this nomination it will be like the new charsimatic popular “ethnic” guy gets the job over the one ready for the job with more experience, more knowledge, better judgement. The DNC will try to tell Hillary that they couldn’t upset 13% of the country who Obama told it was their time. And Hillary will run anyway! My stepmother a republican and many other republicans, independants and all her ex-democrat supporters will deliver a win in November.
HUSSIEN OBAMA AND HIS UGLY WIFE NEED TO GO TO THE BACK OF THE BUS
Tacky. Especially since Rosa Parks put her foot and her fanny down YEARS before either of those clowns drew their first White Dominated, Racist Exploited breaths.
I think this might be bigger then anyone expects. I think this might be what ends it for Obama
IF HE STEALS THE NOMINATION FROM HILLARY, MCCAIN WILL SURELY WHIP HIS BLACK AZZ
Julie, you are NOT helping.
Now Julie,
That’s racist. and its ok to say michelle obama is attractive, although the good rev. Pfleger will say you are a rapist.
Why is Obama ashamed of his Arabic lineage? Is it because of the history of slave traders on his father’s side of his Arabic family? Or is Obama afraid of what his Arabic lineage might do to his bid for the US Presidency so soon after 9/11?
As a child I was a target for AA racism on the south soide of Chicago. I am Apache/Mexican American. I went to an ALL black school in Hyde Park. 55th and Cottage Grove. I was BUSED there. I was called every name you can think of.
Okay….you grow up and get over it, but I never forgot it. neither did my 8 other siblings. I don’t hold the friends I have now to account for this but I HAVE heard them ALL say things like…F-That Honkey! White Bi***! and such. As a matter of fact as soon as you piss one of these racist off, those are the first words that come from their mouths! Now to be fair, not everyone does this, but it has been my experience that this was the case. I know some will say BullS***, but I challenge anyone who has grown up, or still lives in a big city to call me a liar!
Being from LA, it ends in death all too often here.
werent axelrod and pfleger also involved in an astroturfing scheme for a chicago museum expansion against real grass roots activists? i’ll find the link later, maybe talkleft
Yes They were!
You might want to catch up on Larry Sinclair stuff.
Says he will have a press conference this afternoon.
You can listen to radio interview from yesterday with Jeff Rense and Larry Sinclair.
larrysinclair0926.wordpress.com
5/29/08 interview
interview mentions driver of limo–Larry’s attorney to give him two weeks to come forward and do affidavit or will go public with identity.
also attorney for sinclair in talks with Rev. Manning’s attorneys.
nothing earth shaking, but the beat goes on.
more harassment from Obama-turds.
I believe Sinclair. We’ve got murder, drugs and sex.
All that’s missing is rock and roll.
I believe Sinclair is telling the truth on this..There was a whisper here in Chicago back in 2000, about Obama’s supposed Bisexuality. Although I believe sinclair, I am a realist and I don’t think it will go anywhere unless Sinclair has Iron Clad proof..DNA? All this will do now is give the Obamaphiles a reason to Whine about how much we are grasping at straws.
As ” I ” have stated above….I believe this story to be true, but without proof, It won’t go anywhere!
[...] in this post, Johnson exposes David Axelrod’s long-term affiliation with Father Pfleger: To this day, [...]
Bottomline, until the white latte liberals break free of their collective white guilt, Obama will be handed the nomination PERIOD. And if the obama to pfeger and wright to farrakah connection does break the hold of white guilt- nothing well. Obama has known wright and pfeger for over twenty years because they have a common connection–resentment and loathing towards “typical white people.”. You know not white people like pfeger and axelrod–”theys gooood” white people who believe whitey is the root of all evil on this earth. Those “typical white people” not so much.
I never thought i see the day when farrakan was a stones throw away from controlling the most powerful military on the planet! Go figure!
But really I believe obama is doing all of this to show his father he WAS deserving of his love. His white blood did not “soil” the obama bloodline. He is as pro black (see wright and farrakan and only non typical white people) as any full blooded black even more so. I always wondered why obama would name a book after a man who adandoned him at 2 and he only saw once after that in an airport between flights–”Dreams of my Father”. His white granparents nuture him, feed and clothed him and give him a fine education but yet it was his father he felt compelled glorify. That has to make you wonder, no?
Yeah it does tell you something. This man has always hated his “white” bloodline. It didnt matter that it was his “White” grandparents that took care of him while Mama was running around the world looking for love. And by the way….I suppose his “White” Mother was good enough to bed but not good enough to stay with? His fathers so-called Shame is Bullshit.. What is sad is that he has thrown away the chance this country actually had to unite. Guess that “White” blood was too much for him to handle.
My Kids are White/Apache/mexican American and I can tell you this…..THEY ARE PROUD OF THEIR HERITAGE! This man is a disgrace to the human race period!
Can someone please tell me the bad news that’s been breaking around Obama for the past several days? I’ve been out-of-town on a business trip and I haven’t been watching the news and didn’t bring my laptop with me (no internet). Today is the first day I’ve logged on since Tuesday.
Oh, and more:
Pfleger, known locally as a community activist and organizer, was arrested in June 2007 with the Rev. Jesse Jackson during a protest outside of a south suburban Chicago gun shop. The criminal trespass charges were later dropped.
He also has hosted Louis Farrakhan, the controversial leader of the Nation of Islam, at St. Sabina and has called him “a gift from God to a sick, sick world.”
http://news.aol.com/elections/story/_a/priest-apologizes-for-mocking-clinton/20080530074409990001#cmntbgn
Nancy Pelosi and her little leftist clique in House says they are going to unite the party..Now they want to play nice and make love…Hey too little, too late.. I think its time to start petition for resignations of Howard Dean, Donna Brizile.
Can we start a boycott of CNN, MSNBC, NBC and Newsweek. Start writing to sponsors of their news networks, boycott their products. Our family will organize and push for John McCain if Obami, the closet case is nominated. The extreme left wing has gone off the deep-wing. Look what happened to Conn. when the crazies took over party-Joe Liberman
want the election..Can we get Clinton to run as an independent?
You know, if Axelrod is on this priest’s fundraising team, then there’s no way he gave this sermon without permission from the Obama camp. Notice that he quit the advisory committee a couple weeks ago in the lead up to this. Could it be that either, they’re trying to keep Clinton from deciding to run as an independent (on the off chance there will be defections among superdelegates), or they’re trying to deflect attention from something else? (One other possibility is that they did this to denigrate Clinton in the eyes of Puerto Rican voters, who see a Catholic priest on TV publicly repudiating her and think maybe they shouldn’t support here.)
What is particularly AMAZING in the coverage (bordering on conspiracy, in my view) is the utter embargo on reporting of Obama’s well-documented links to two Iraqi foreign agents, including Saddam’s ex-money-man (according the the Pentagon) AND the former Minister of Electricity in Iraq (now living in Illinois) who’s wanted by Interpol for stealing $650 million in reconstruction funds. How an earth could Obama pass a basic security clearance for employment in federal government when he’s apparently benefitted financially from both of these fellows and has a paper trail with them as wide as the Panama Canal?
I honestly thing this pastor stuff is a deliberate distraction. And instead of protesting DNC meetings we should all be standing outside the office of the Dept. of Homeland Security demanding that Chertoff open an investigation into Obama’s ties to these two characters. NBC and CNN and all the rest can hardly avoid covering up the facts once that happens.
(Click on my screen name for articles that document Obama’s organized crime links.)
