Some are good points, some are farfetched and created, however there are facts that people should not ignore. My mother had a saying “Is better bad known, that bad to yet know” As a politician skeptical, (just don’t care much for politicians of either party), you have this guy (McCain) (non-lawyer, that’s a plus in my book), who might be more or less corrupt than other politicians, and who truly served the Country in the Arm Forces, then you have the other guy (Obama)(a lawyer, bad thing!)that has more shady dealings than other politicians, considering he has only been a Senator for two years, it is only fair to deduct, he is more corrupt than the other guy. Now that set aside, this new guy has also very strong ties with fascist and terrorist characters, (that in itself is very scary! to me anyway)I for one do not look kindly into oppresion, I rather pay and keep my freedom (whatever or how much I got left)I don’t feel lucky! and this is a gamble I do not want to take, once a new regimen is enforced, there is no turning back (look at Cuba)yup! Castro seemed to be for the people’s interest and welfare against the capitalism of that era, while he was a young insurgent, new blood if you will. Without the support of those gullible blind followers, he could not have been sucessful, but people believed him, it was a time of discontent, the time was right!. Is it now the right time as well? When you go to vote in November, think carefully, that might be the last time you will. We all know (I think) that a politician will promise you the moon and the stars, they all do, and that at the end, every single one of them will fail to fulfill their promises, but is not what Obama would not fulfill that worries me, is what he would do that concerns me!

Well put, Lana. The Republicans are letting their desperation show - they’re terrified Obama might actually win. Lacking any real criticism of either the man or his record, they resort, not surprisingly, to rumors, vague accusations, generalities and transparent racism.

I am a sixty-nine year old retiree. This is the first time in my life that I have responded to a politcal situation. I have voted in all general elections since I registered to vote at the then required age of twenty-one.

As of today I have not made a choice to vote for either candidate.

There are some infulential news media people who belong among the professional wrestling dog and pony show. These folks should take their respondsibilites
more seriously.
