For Our Puerto Rican Friends: “¡HILLARY, PUERTO RICO TE AMA !”
By SusanUnPC on May 31, 2008 at 7:03 PM in GLBT, Hillary Clinton, Puerto Rico
WRITTEN BY ANDY:
ADELANTE HILLARY !!!! TU ERES NUESTRA PRESIDENTA.

¡Sí, se peude! ¡Hillary es mi corazón!
Isn`t it convenient that Father Phlegm came out so it would give him a chance to leave the church. This phony can`t fool me for a minute.
All the R`s have to do is keep referring to him as Marxist in every TV interview. Kiss your 401k goodbye, those shares you had on Wall street, taxed at 30% Oh well we have Obama to keep us safe from terrorism……
Yee haw! I’m singing “America” from West Side Story.
Anyone live blogging the Obama resignation (from his church) press conference on Fox? I hope it’s a preview to a resignation press conference of another kind.
So far lots of uuhh. He’s outdoing himself.
Yea I was typing faster than he talks with all those um’s and aaa’s
And evryone knows my typing is a thing of beauty..NOT
He did not see it coming! (the church issue)
oohhh Just in though we are saddend by this…
Oh whaaa…I smell Axelrod all over this stinky crap.
Yep, Obomba is finally hanging it up - tomorrow he steps down and gives his blessings to the unstoppable McCain…..
andy: gracias! si se puede. amalia
Hey I think the image needs to be scaled down. It’s stretching across my browser. Maybe add height= and width= to the img src tag.
Done!! Thanks.
Hillary has major support there, part of it could become a counter positive item if it was pointed out.
It is what it is, on that topic. On the whole there’s a greater value to the results, voters there are for more likely to vote for their interests, far less likely to be convinced by the kind of campaigning that has become a domestic staple.
Real issues matter more to Puerto Rico’s voters.
Gay marriage, stem cell research, etc. will have to be plausible items elsewhere. For the direct correlation of vote to policy that benefits average or median incomes the most, look to place like this.
For that reason, true political poll wonks should value results there above most locations. It is a pattern indicator of broader fundamental motivations.
gracias amigo
Sadly after today this is looking like a Hillary farewell tour.
If Hillary takes it to Denver i will think it a ploy to keep democrats registered as is instead of switchin.
BTW there are way more latin marxists than black so maybe hillary isn’t the free market goddess we think she is.
Keep in mind voters there still favor family values, cultural reinforcement helps with that. Real family values are about a living wage, honorable pay for honorable work. The family values vote that occurs there is the one to model elsewhere for gain.
An economy that thrives upon tourism develops a unique sense of warmth from being host to many visitors. It’s great to see that politicians can meet there and share those experiences as well. For once you can let Hillary be Hillary, and people seeing it like what they see.
More people should plan visits there, from what I can see.
it does look like a cool place for R&R.
And it looks like HRC is having a blast!
Hannity calls in to fox and is spilling the beans on the questions ….I would love a transript posted
How is the real Obama?
oops..
HowWho is the real Obama? Thanks Andy.
Hannity is rippin it. Ouch!
O’Reilly had a groovy show Friday.
He’s mellowing out to encompass a larger viewing audience - as KO hardens into a tight pustule of hate.
Go get Him Hillary! Love the brawl, Senator.

Qué pasa? No comprendo. That’s probably incorrect, but I wish I understood Spanish. I only know French and English. Being trilingual would be cool tho. I heard the last Pope knew over 50 languages. That’s nuts (in a good way).
I am so glad I studied Spanish in college. I didn’t get every single word but I do understand the vast majority of this post.
Thank you for posting this in the native language of Puerto Rico.
A rough translation:
In a few hours the primary election in Puerto Rico will commence where 55 delegates are in play. But most importantly this is the day that Hillary will obtain an absolute majority of the popular vote.
No one in history has received more votes than Hillary Clinton. 17 million citizens have voted for her. She is the clear selection of the people to represent the democratic party in November. The Latin vote has played a fundamental role in these primaries. And they certainly provide the certain key to victory in November. There is only one candidate that will assure a victory: Hillary Rodham Clinton. She is the certain victor in November.
Ricky Martin expressed his feelings in declaring his support for Hillary. ” These elections have as much historical repercussions for the United States as for the world. In the case of presidential primary, the Latin participation will be a determining reason why we must take this opportunity to let feel our force” “Senator Clinton has always been consistent in her commitment to the needs of our community such as the education, health and the social welfare”
Advance Hillary. You are our President!
That ’s pretty good PaganPower!! –modulo really minor corrections
I am impressed!!
Best wishes to the voters in Puerto Rico! I hope we can make the pollsters go speechless with a 40 point Hillary win. I say that only because I realize the 80 point win I’d actually hope for is unlikely
Hillary Clinton winning America one vote at a time.
No mas to hinky delegate allotment schemes designed to give segments of the population more equal representation than the rest of us.
senora susan,
gracias por la historia en espanol.
adelante a la casa blanca!!!
Please, please Puerto Rico! Make your votes count! Vote for Hillary!!!!

Site Violator
Wow, a bilingual Obama supporter. So, Hillary is a “racist whore” ??? You really do your candidate proud, but I would expect no less from you. And you actually linked to your own blog… that’s just frightening that you would actually want the world to know what a misogynist pig you are.
You don’t deserve to use the name “funkadelic”, cuz they were all about the love… not hate.
Oh! Thanks for the translation futher up the thread! I have so loved seeing the videos from Puerto Rico! I would be so proud to know that the voter turnout there is the best in America! Did I see it’s usually at 80%? Wonderful enthusiasm!
I sooo hope that there will be a video somewhere of the awesome Hillary caravan. Puerto Rico knows a good thing when they see it!
Go Hillary! Go Puerto Rico!
Catriley:
It usually is b/c local politics is very passionate there. But they don’t expect that this time. They expect somewhere between 20% to 40% (500,000 voters out of 2.4 RV maybe) b/c there are not local issues on the ballot.
Still HRC has already the popular vote. Look on her site; she is claiming it already.
Why would the turnout be less this time? I saw that in a news story.. do they typically vote in bigger numbers for the GE? I think that they may be surprised at the polls this time, as even though there are no local issues, the attention on PR has been unprecedented at this point in a primary. Hillary’s caravan started with 10 cars and was at 300+ and counting not too much later.
I think any wins at this point would be a bonus for Hillary. She definitely has more of the popular vote, but anything she can show the superdelegates her strength, and Obama’s weakness, is icing on the cake!
Agreed!!
I was just reporting on what I read somewhere else coming for PR papers.
Bless her !!
