Re-watching Wexler throw a tantrum, I still don’t understand his logic or argument. Asking for half the votes to be counted is generous? No, it’s self serving. And I can’t believe anyone would clap for such an asshole. I can not believe that anyone would act as if they were at a f-ing football game. This is a question of democracy! We don’t cheer when half the votes are denied. That is nothing to be happy about.

At this time in this country, the most boneheaded thing the DNC could do right now is to NOT seat all the delegates. We need not to lose Democratic votes of the citizens in MI and FL.

Florida is a no brainer. Waive the rules, accept the election and seat all the delegates. In Michigan, waive the rules, accept the election, give Clinton the delegates she won, and give Obama the rest, just for a gesture of fairness and goodwill.

That would be the fairest, smartest decision. But I fear the DNC are too stupid to realize this. The Republicans, with their utterly failed policies, have virtually handed the 2008 general election to the Democrats. But the Democrats’ unfathomable stupidity in this primary contest is utterly losing that opportunity.

What I find hilarious is that everyone on Obama’s side is quick to note that “we need to honor the desires of those who did not vote” (i.e. those who didn’t bother to make their preference known) but they don’t give a damn about the millions who were disenfranchised because of caucuses. How about we just allocate delegates from all the caucus states based on a statewide poll, because all the voters couldn’t make it to the caucuses and many were overseas or out of town and couldn’t cast absentee ballots.

Bottom line: Obama’s MI argument is pure shit. How can they argue he should get ALL of the UNCOMMITTED delegates when THEY ADMIT the sacred “EXIT POLLS” only had him winning 75%. Then they want to give him HILLARY’S VOTES because “of course some of them would have voted for other people…” and write-ins THAT THE RULES SAY CANNOT COUNT AND NOBODY EVEN SAW!!!

It’s pure bullshit. You can’t just hand delegates to candidates. He took his name off the damn ballot. Actions have consequences! Isn’t that the message they were trying to send to FL and MI in the first place?!?! You can’t get votes if your name isn’t on the ballot. Obama knew that and is now trying to game the system. If they give him any delegates from MI I am leaving the party. How can people who masturbated to the “teh RULZ” shit on them the next minute?!?!
