If you are seriously going to vote for “100 years in Iraq” McCain over this, then you weren’t much of a Democrat to start with. If you feel this strongly, then stay home and don’t vote at all.

I second that emotion. Ickes’s speech with respect to MI was potent and historic. Other than that, the DNC self-destructed today. The persistent calls for “unity” are pathetic and laughable. What’s left of the Dems will be financially depleted by the lawsuits resulting from today’s decisions, a clear violation of civil rights. Sen. Arlen Spector is already on the case. The Republicans are the only winners today. Obama supporters were provided only with the illusion of winning, a consolation prize for the imminent failure of their candidate.
