17 S. Dakota County Commissioners Do Not Endorse the “Presumptive Nominee”

As Barky Obama continues to crawl on his knees through broken glass toward the finish line, hoping his fairy godmother at the DNC pushes his limping butt to the other side, 17 Commisioners of 15 South Dakota Counties have endorsed Hillary Clinton. Kind of makes you wonder exactly how much confidence people have in “presumptive” nominee Barack Obama even at this late date, doesn’t it?

With less than fifty percent of the popular vote, Barack Obama still hasn’t closed his own deal, even after he was given free Michigan delegates and votes that were actually cast for other candidates. He hasn’t closed his own deal even after four delegates were arbitrarily removed from Hillary Clinton’s total and given to him as an Affirmative Action Gift from the Rules Committee.

There just aren’t going to be any more primaries after today, so Barky is going to need another Affirmative Action injection in order to be declared the “winner”. Apparently, none of this seems to be a problem for the Party. Somebody needs to explain to them that in General Elections, nobody gets spotted any points. Somebody needs to explain to them that there are no caucuses in General Elections, so no busloads of college students will be at the polls taking control of the room, threatening old ladies and fudging results. Come to think of it, somebody will explain these things to them–on November 4.

In the meantime, South Dakota’s leaders aren’t buying the smoke and mirrors surrounding Barack Obama’s “Nomination”. They kind of feel like the rest of us do. Honestly, you would think these people would get the message that people don’t pick Presidential candidates, Marxist Party leaders do that for them.

In a clear display of momentum two days before the primary and on the heels of multiple visits by Hillary, Chelsea and President Clinton, the Clinton campaign in South Dakota today announced the endorsement of 17 county commissioners.
These commissioners, who are endorsing Hillary because of her commitment to South Dakota, have been helping the campaign’s efforts in their counties and spreading the word about why Hillary Clinton is best prepared to be President.

The list of commissioners who have endorsed Hillary is below.

Richard Waltman, McPherson County
Bill Nibbelink, Moody County
Shirlee Leighton, Lake County
Gerald Weiss, Davison County
Chester McManus, Hanson County
Thomas Thompson, Lawrence County
John Pesek, Bon Homme County
Sharon Drapeau, Charles Mix County
Robert Sperl Sr., Gregory County
Denny Deffenbaugh, Gregory County
Monte Anker, Jones County
Doris Miner, Tripp County
John Lind, Dewey County
Connie Whirlwind Horse, Shannon County
Francis Pumpkin Seed, Shannon County
Larry Bakke, Hamlin County
Clinton Fowler, Zieback County

This is the West where he was supposed to do really well, right? How much was he up just a few short weeks ago? And they would have you believe this thing is over? I really do feel like I am in OZ.

What “West?”

The one full of Hispanics who won’t vote for him?

The democrat party has been taken over by the

Country before party!!!

I would rather vote for a patriotic old war hero than an anti-American Marxist racist.

I understand some people can`t vote for McCain but I urge them to keep this in mind. Staying at home or write in`s are one thing but for everyone of us that votes for McCain, Obama needs 2 votes from the I-pod crowd just to compensate.

Don’t waste your energy. This poster is an obvious GOP troll.

Comment by beebop | 2008-06-03 06:01:07

You wish … all of the support HE got in Pennsylvania …. such as it was was crossover Republicans and he will not be seeing that in November! hahahahahahahahaha

Comment by Mawm | 2008-06-03 06:41:42

The GOP weren’t trolls while Obama thought he would win them. Now, that it is obvious no Republican would EVER cast a vote for Commie Obamie, the GOP are trolls.

That’s got a great ring to it

I urge all Hillary supporters to vote for McCain in November if Obama is the nominee.
This is beyond party interest. BO is a very dangerous man. We will need every single vote to keep him out of the White House. Do not underestimate the power of the ruthless opportunist.

Obama and his crowd reminds me of how Lenin in Russia took over, how the Hungarian elections were hijacked after WWII, making Hungary a slave country to the Soviet Union. These people have no shame and the limit of their aspiration is just nonexistent. They will do anything and everything to achieve their objectives.

We have seen at the Rules and Bylaws Committee, how democracy was trampled on.
Donna Brazil had the nerves to say that they “conceded” delegates to Hillary Clinton from Michigan… It is same as saying that “be glad that we robbed you but we were so kind and left your shirt on your back”.

There is no word to describe how eerily familiar this whole story sounds.
Donna Brazil had the nerves to say that Hillary Clinton got a “present” by getting 10 more delegates from Michigan… It is same as saying that “be glad that we robbed you but we were so kind and left your shirt on your back”.

Comment by Mary | 2008-06-03 07:49:34

I second this urging.

If you want to see the DNC structure change, certain people fired, and respect for the real rules reinstated, a vote for McCain is the ONLY choice.

This is about principle, folks.

Comment by Hanna | 2008-06-03 09:45:02

Absolutely right Harp. I hope more people will consider voting for McCain. I do understand and respect the opinion of those who feel they cannot. But McCain, will be a one term President - the danger of having Obama goes far beyond the disgraceful way Sen. Clinton and supporters have been treated. Obama is a dirty Chicago Combine politician. This country can’t afford the brand of change at the root of Obama’s candidacy.

The supers will not do anything to keep Obama/Marxist from being the nominee. They have made that very clear. We get it.

In the months leading up to the general election, I predict Obama/Marxist and Axelrod Salinsky Organizing Cooperative will need to hold many seminars discussing the many principals of organizing “The Alinsky Chicago Way”. It is the only way they will be able to increase their Young and Black Marxist army.

I know when I write about this people say I am too tin foil hat but I don’t care. It is the truth but the media will not investigate the real truths. They are out there and this site has shown some of the truth but there is so much more.

Obama/Marxist is only the vehicle for the real Marxist agenda to to come into the population. He is the perfect candidate for them. Play on the white liberal guilt with his blackness. Attract the young who are looking for something “new” and “change” they will accept that this is nothing new it is replayed over and over every few decades. Threaten and hold the party hostage with fear of the black vote leaving the party. Classic - Marxist behavior.

Sal Alinsky would be proud. the caucuses are perfect for his type of organizing tactics. That is why he won the caucuses. Hillary although studying Alinsky did not embrace it as she did not have the void to be filled that Obama/Marxist did.

For the marxist agenda to take hold there has to be a boy/man looking for approval and the desire to belong. He found that with the Chicago Black Liberation Theology/Marxist Agenda. He found his father and his father is Marx.

NO OBAMA/MARXIST

There can be no logical reason to vote for BO in the end if he is the DNC’s candidate.

No American citizen can elect this wacko, Marxist, socialist, communist, racist in sheep’s clothing, to be President of the United States.

Looking at the roots of his thinking, the company he keeps, the choices he makes, his true meaning of change is not to unite, but rather to racially divide. That is the message he has listened to, absorbed, adopted and supported all of his adult life.

Divisiveness, anarchy and racism are not ideologies of unity and especially not Presidential ideals. BO knew well before announcing his candidacy, that he was immersed in those beliefs, more than twenty years worth.

He has every right to run for any office in the country, even the Presidency. But he can never be anywhere near the White House in a Presidential or vice-Presidential capacity.

It’s not a black or white issue.
It’s an Obama issue.

The choice for the country, if Hillary does not end up on a ballot without BO, is to vote for the next best candidate to win the WH, John McCain.

Comment by cc | 2008-06-03 02:53:10

I posted this the other day…but it bears repeating here.

America FIRST. Democrats, Republicans Second. Obamatons NEVER!

Comment by Mary | 2008-06-03 08:06:10

Barak Obama and his supporters are NOT “uniters.” They are street-fighter DIVIDERS, Chicago style. Anything to win.

If you want any real change to happen in the DNC, a vote for John McCain is the only way to make it happen.

Comment by nickoury | 2008-06-03 02:33:20

I’ve got a question.

When was the last time BO or Cheney bought a gallon of gas?

Don’t say you feel our pain.

BO is sitting on more than 42 million dollars and hasn’t bought gas for at least a year or more.

Cheney never has to buy gas and gets a good dividend off the profits of every gallon sold.

So why can’t we get even a small break on our gas expenses, no matter how minuscule?

And don’t tell me it’s needed for road repairs.
Yeah, the same roads that are neglected for years until they fail, and then a ten-person crew is sent out to watch a two-person detail fill a pothole.

Give me a break. Give us all a break.

Get Hillary in the WH and maybe some relief will finally trickle down to us.

Upppity Woman:

You said:

There just aren’t going to be any more primaries after today, so Barky is going to need another Affirmative Action injection in order to be declared the “winner”.

Since Hillary’s plan and only way to win is the same as Obama’s — to convince the superdelegates to vote for her — are you saying that she is asking for an “Affirmative Action injection,” too?

Comment by Uppity | 2008-06-03 02:40:17

No I am sying NOBODY should have an Affirmative Action injection. Taking delegates from her and giving them to him was Affirmative Action. Taking delegates that belong to other canidates on the ballot and giving them to him was Affirmative Action. The office of the President of the United States is not an Affirmative Action job.

As for the superdelegates, what they decide to do will be on their own conscience. We can win or we can lose. It’s all up to them. It is very clear that they are deciding who the candidate will be, as NEITHER of them collected enough pledged delegates.

Now bug off.

Comment by Uppity | 2008-06-03 02:44:22

And let’s just say for the sake of fairness, they owe her One injection, but Obama will get two instead.

Comment by Brendan | 2008-06-03 03:02:02

Uppity:

If by “taking away delegates from her” you mean the resolution of the FL and MI messes, we’ll have to agree to disagree on this one. I am of the impression that all of the Democratic candidates agreed that those primaries were to be disqualified. The fact that any delegates were assigned to either candidate is a crock, although I grant the political realities of having to toss them a bone.

The DNC should have penalized them half their delegates to begin with and stuck to that plan.

Comment by Kinky Ogremann | 2008-06-03 04:05:33

No - they agreed to NOT campaign there, with the explicit punishment being that anyone who did campaign there, would lose ALL the delegates they picked up in those states.

Now why would they fear that punishment if the beginning assertion was that it was never going to count?

Just think about it …

and might I add, Obama ran ads in FL for 2 weeks and actively campaigned in MI for “uncommitted” along with Richardson and Edwards. He broke the rules - and should have lost ALL delegates, as the DNC pledge stated, but noooooo - he had more people on the committee, and so he gets to cheat.

Comment by Uppity Woman | 2008-06-03 04:18:25

It’s not up to “candidates” and politicians and party bosses to determine what to do with votes…other than to COUNT them. Since when are these people more important thatn the electorate? When did Rules become more important than the Right to vote? This decision was Marxist, pure and simple. They negated the will of the voters. They took liberties that should never exist in the framework of a democracy.

Comment by Ai1een | 2008-06-03 04:30:01

The “agreement” was “not to campaign”. The agreement was NEVER to take one’s name off the ballot (which is WHY Obama’s name remained ON the ballot in Florida). Clinton, Biden, Gravel and Dodd honored the agreement, Obama, Edwards and Richardson BROKE the rules. However, the RBC in their infinite wisdom chose to PUNISH the states of Florida and Michigan for breaking their precious “rules”, but REWARDED Obama for breaking them.

Yo - Donna Brazile - MAYBE YOUR MOMMA SHOULD HAVE A SERIOUS SIT DOWN WITH THE RULES AND BY-LAWS COMMITTEE, FOR WHAT THEY DID SATURDAY WENT FAR BEYONE CHEATING…IT’S CALLED CORRUPTION. CAN YOU SAY HYPOCRITE, DONNA?

Comment by beebop | 2008-06-03 06:06:33

Are we going to cut South Carolina in half and give four of his delegates to her? They voted early as well. Arbitrariness is not “rules.”

Sen. Daschle - just in case you’re reading - there is a reason why you LOST your reelection - and it wasn’t because of the Clintons. It was because YOU lost touch with your state and your constituents! You became a DC-elitist (if you don’t know what I’m talking about - recall the campaign ad with YOUR Jaguar pulling out of your DC garage) and that’s why you’re supporting Sen. I ask one favor of all of you, though: PLEASE do not insult marxists/communists by equating O’Barky with the holders of that philosophy. You’re trying to make the distinction between authoritarians and communitarians, is that correct? If you are then I completely agree. Obama wants to be a dictator.

Comment by HARP | 2008-06-03 02:55:12

The constitution of the Communist Parties and Communist states was grounded in Marxism; the basic difference between Communism in general and Marxism, is that Communism aims at the realization of a “Communist society”, while Marxism is a theoretical-practical framework based on the analysis of “the conflicts between the powerful and the subjugated”.[2][3] As a consequence of this, there are many scholars and thinkers who use Marxism as a framework for analysis but do not advocate a communist society.

Comment by bpeale | 2008-06-03 11:16:58

when you think about all the powers that bush has amassed in his tenure as CIC, it’s scary to think of those powers in Obama’s hands.

Comment by Joe | 2008-06-03 02:46:37

Stalin was just a petty dictator who took advantage of Russian culture and long history of living under czars and tyrants and the political machinery of the Communist party to build a cult centered around his paranoid self.

Comment by cc | 2008-06-03 02:57:22

sounds like BO’s plan to a T. He’s paranoid and his following is most definitely a cult.

Comment by Joe | 2008-06-03 03:02:27

In Obama’s case, he gamed the system to win himself a pile of delegates with the help of his cult, but that strategy is not going to ensure him victory in the GE against McCain.

Comment by mimi | 2008-06-03 08:56:54

What’s even more ironic about this is that he grew up in a home with ONLY white people on an island paradise where the native population, i.e. people of color ruled.

What’s wrong with him? He must have one of the most confused psyches since Hitler.

Hitler was a psychological piece-of-work, too. And we all know how that turned out!

Comment by Michelle | 2008-06-03 02:50:16

We’re all with you on the HRC or McCain!!

I think all that “No Barks” was trying to point out is that Obama - even if he is a communist is not even a Marxist - he’s actually more of a Stalinist and that is MUCH scarier.

Comment by Mirlo | 2008-06-03 11:09:18

The question should be the other way around: can you insult Marxism by calling Obama a Marxist? My answer is yes, bcs he is just a corrupt oportunist; he will not uphold and apply any values, throws under the bus whatever is inconveient at the moment.
Marxism hasn’t funcioned and never will, mainly because there are a lot of thugs in every society on the planet. In Democracy, where people are the sovereign, we have tools to control thugs. But it is not easy, takes a lot of thinking, analysing, reasoning, discussing, (and blogging, haha) less following blindly. It takes responsibel citizens who do not leave everything to politicians. I also think that we should choose politicians not because of our own, personal gain with someone’s program, but because a politician proposes wise, middle- and longterm solutions for the whole society and doesn’t act to the benefit of one group at the cost of another, weaker one.

Comment by Mirlo | 2008-06-03 11:13:59

Oh, and I believe Hillary is such a politician, I wish nothing more then a HRC WH in 2009.

Comment by jadwiga | 2008-06-03 09:41:38

Yes, Marxism was a fairly utopistic idea. Lenin came and changed it to Marxism-Leninism. Than came Stalin and changed the whole thing into Stalinism.

Stalinism is really a handfull losely put together communistic ideas enforced with iron hand. The opposition is eliminated by deception, fraud, and force.

The order is maintained by internal spying, political policing.

The purpose of the ruthless erradication of any opposition is to ensure the unlimited power of the selected group. This selection is arbitrary.

The punishment of those outside of the chosen group is severe - even if they didn’t do anything deemed wrong.

A policy after WWII in Hungary was to deport adults born in noble families to labor camps. Their children mostly ended up in foster care.

Not this time - not unless HRC is the nominee.

They have been talking about Republicans reversing Roe ever since it was law. Never has happened.
McCain is a moderate who I think actually wants a legacy of compromise and unity.
I would be more concerned about losing ALL my rights under an obamarxist regime.

I have taken to cutting and pasting my answer to the supreme court threat:

If my younger sisters lose Roe Wade it will be their own fault for taking the rights they have for granted, because they didn’t fight for them. They are complacent and can take the time to swoon over a sexy empty suit who has already set gender relations back a minimum of 30 years, and we haven’t even gotten to the General Election campaign yet. Serves them right. Not my problem. I know how not to get pregnant.

It’s my job to protect the rights I fought for that matter to me. This is a misogynist’s campaign and if younger women are too busy spawning over Leland Gaunt handing out Needful Things and discussing his vibrating phone when he leans on one of them, then they will have to learn to take the consequences of their own folly along with the consolations. Maybe then they will Get It. I have already done well in my life. Complacency is their enemy, not mine. Let em eat cell phones.

Supreme Court to hell! Some things are more important - such as ALL of our rights that will definitely be destroyed in a Communist regime!

Like we’re stupid. There’s no way McCain is going to be able to shove in a conservative Supreme Court judge with a Democratic Congress. Also, they say no Supreme Court judges are looking to step down and McCain will probably not run for 2 terms.

I will gladly vote McCain over Obama - at least I know he’s a patriot.

I am trying to remember what — other than Bill Clinton’s administration — Democrats have done for me recently. Roe v. wade isn’t going any where. You know that, we know that. It is the ignorant crowd who buys that BS.

Me either. Keep your panties on young girls. They won’t move me with this bullshit either. I could care less about Supreme Court Justices.

Say, didn’t Barky want to vote ‘yes’ on Chief Justice Roberts? I don’t trust his choices either. BTW, Africans, mudlims tend to be pro-life and anti-abortion. Most black women and latinas have their babies. They may not be rabid pro-lifers, but at best they are indifferent. So I guess young white women have backed the wrong horse.

Tough!!

I would be more concerned about supreme court justices that took the general rights of woman away under a Commie Obamie regime

I pray Hillary doesn’t accept the VP slot.

Speaking as an Obama supporter, I believe we have found a basis for agreement.

What are you doing here? You’re not welcome.

What are you doing here? You’re not welcome.

I’m sorry. I was under the impression that this was an open forum, where people who believe in democracy welcome different points of view.

Comment by Michelle | 2008-06-03 03:14:28

Of course there is democracy - I just was asking why you’re such a masochist?

Time to start building bridges.

Saw this today - can’t take credit it for it - (http://riverdaughter.wordpress.com/2008/06/01/ladies-and-gentlemen-you-are-looking-fine-today/) - but it pretty much describes how I feel about you Brendan. And quite frankly, I’d rather have good sex.

We should actually thank the RBC for yesterday’s ruling. It just dawned on me that we are the hottest voters on the damn planet. Yes, indeed. EVERYONE wants us now.

The DNC is going to try to push us around like some bad soon-to-be-ex-boyfriend. But secretly, they’re insecure and desperate for us to stay with them. Expect them to vacillate between violent threats and sweet talking. They want make up sex in the worst way and will probably do it badly. There is no orgasm in it for you, Clintonistas, but that doesn’t mean they won’t try. Just don’t return their phone calls. Get a restraining order. Change your address.

The GOP will see us as the prizes that we are. Yeah, they’re a bunch of jerks too. McCain will ply us with roses and champagne. They’ll want to “listen” to us. Lend us a shoulder to cry on. But they’re rotten to the core and we know it. As long as the sex is good, sleep with them all you want. But use protection and don’t commit to anything.

Hey, enjoy the single life. Life is pretty good right about now. We’re sitting on top of a goldmine

Ahhh, you’ll get over your anger and come to your senses. I’m not worried.

Maybe not you, specifically, but you, collectively.
