The Michelle Obama Diversion

I give the Obama folks credit–they’ve tried mightily to shift the meaning of my original report. I learned last week that Republicans have a tape of Michelle in a racist rant. She does so while part of a panel discussion. I do not know where this occurred. And the specific date is not known either. BuzzHill offered up his view earlier today but I have not confirmed one way or another.

At no time have I claimed to have the tape or promised to deliver said tape. In fact, I reported that Republicans working on behalf of McCain are desperate to keep this under wraps until Obama is formally nominated in August. Got it?

So as trolls stagger by to taunt and provoke, have pity on them–they cannot read and are devoid of comprehension skills. I guess that’s why they are for Obama. Figures. Meanwhile, with or without said tape, we do know that the Obamas participated for almost 20 years in a church that espoused racism. They supported the race baiter Jeremiah Wright with financial contributions. So enough of the pretense that they were attending a mainstream, vanilla, anodyne Christian church. Au contraire. Non. I believe my sources and believe the tape will appear after August and before November.

Is there no Democrat who can get this tape before August – to avoid a suicide nomination?

Comment by The Real Hope | 2008-06-05 00:33:40

Why in the hell would we care about a suicide nomination when the Democratic Party has eaten its own by demolishing the good name of Hillary Clinton? The Obama brownshirts have done everything to maim our chosen candidate Hillary Clinton. Let them have their suicide nomination. It couldn’t happen to a more gutless fucking party.

As Larry said at no time did he say he had the tape. So we will just have to go with what we know. These 2 people who want the White House hang with some racists and a guy who happily bombed this country. Then there is Obama’s cousin Odinga who cut off heads in Kenya trying to overthrow the Kenyan President until said President gave him a position in the govt. To me people like this don’t belong in our White House. What next — are they going to sacrifice virgins?

Comment by Padraig | 2008-06-05 15:32:15

Wow.

Odinga had the votes in that election, btw. The government has used every trick they had to shut down the election. There has been violence, by both sides, but to chalk up Kenyan political violence to Odinga is insane.

But then, so is claiming that Rev. Wright is racist. There’s no evidence of that. He’s said some ridiculous things, especially about AIDS in the US, but that all come under the heading of leftist, radical critiques of American society. So hate him for being a radical, and for being an idiot, but for being a racist? That’s nuts.

BTW, that virgin comment is flat-out racist. Unless you’re actually a member of the KKK, you should probably think before you post shit like that.

You all have a choice – vote for a candidate who you don’t like, but who stands with you on every conceivable political issue, or vote out of spite for McCain, who is heading the party that has brought us the outing of a CIA agent, death and destruction in Iraq, the undermining of the constitution, and utter negligence in the face of the disappearance of a major American city. This is do or die time – the moment where we really do have to decide what matters. Hillary Clinton has already made that choice – her country means more to her than herself (isn’t this very fact one of the reasons she has engendered such astounding support throughout the nation?). Don’t kid yourselves – if Obama loses in November it won’t be because he’s unelectable. It will be because you all worked to defeat him.

As a Nader voter in Florida 2000, let me tell you this – there is no honor in voting your conscience when your conscience gets innocent people killed.

It ain’t over as long as the Republicans have attack machines. You want to blame the messenger but these Obama’s are a mess. Obama’s pal Rezko was found guilty and Obama said he didn’t know that Rezko was like that. Like right — everything this guy says is a lie.

Comment by Tom | 2008-06-04 23:55:41

It is indeed over for Hillary, this time around. Continuing to attack Obama at this point only serves to undermine our chances of reclaiming the White House at this point.

Please tell me what you and others here believe is to be gained by continuing to smear our candidate. Do you honestly believe Obama would be a bad president? That his agenda is so radically different from Hillary’s that it doesn’t matter who wins in November? I mean, let’s get real.

Comment by jwrjr | 2008-06-05 00:17:21

Others have explained this before, so I have little hope that this will sink through the layer of concrete that comprises your head. But here goes …
Obama may be your candidate. But he is NOT our candidate. He is not qualified for the position of POTUS. Electing him for that position is the only thing worse than electing McCain as President. No amount of taunts, insults, or other nonsense can change that.

Comment by Tom | 2008-06-05 00:36:27

I know you’ve been bombarded with negative comments from Obama supporters over here, but I did not come here bearing insults, and I’d appreciate the same courtesy from you, jwrjr.

That said, would you mind elaborating on what, specifically, you believe will be gained by a McCain presidency rather than an Obama presidency? I am genuinely confused as to why McCain is better on the issues, given that his positions are in extreme opposition to those of both Clinton and Obama. What kind of Supreme Court Justices would McCain nominate compared to Clinton/Obama? What is McCain’s Iraq strategy compared to Clinton/Obama? What is McCain’s healthcare proposal compared to those of Clinton/Obama?

From my vantage point, as an Obama supporter, Clinton is FAR better on the issues than McCain is. Why don’t you regard Obama as being better on the issues than McCain? (Or if, as I suspect, there are other matters that you are privileging over the issues – from the war to the economy to civil rights – what are these other concerns, and why do they take precedence over the issues?

Thanks for your honest consideration. I am genuinely interested to know where you stand on this.

Comment by Truthteller | 2008-06-05 00:39:08

If you were truly concerned with policy, you would have supported Clinton. Because your support bespeaks a predilection for personality and not for rigorous policy proposals, I recommend everyone here ignore your questions. Besides, you are a Chicagoan who voted for the local personality and not for the qualified candidate. In other words, you are a mindless machine Democrat who merely followed orders.

Comment by Tom | 2008-06-05 01:08:38

Actually, since you asked, I am deeply concerned with policy – and integrity. I voted for Obama in Illinois only because both of my preferred candidates had dropped out by then (Kucinich and Edwards).

I found his positions and Clinton’s similar enough, but as a former educator I especially appreciated Obama’s outlook on education (specifically with regards to the expansion of Teach For America). Also, if I may be frank, I had not forgiven Clinton for voting us into war in Iraq. I felt very betrayed by her and her fellow disappointing Democrats in Congress at the time who coalesced on this (Edwards included, but at least he apologized later). I would’ve happily campaigned and voted for Hillary in the general election, but I did not favor her to Obama.

All of this notwithstanding, I have defended Hillary Clinton among friends and in the blogosphere alike, even as I have preferred Obama when it came down to just the two of them. I believe neither is perfect, but that both are infinitely better than McCain on the issues. Neither would bring the agenda that I envision for America, but both of theirs is so much closer than that of McCain. Do you disagree?

Comment by Mr. X | 2008-06-05 01:24:26

About the war, did you know Obama was FOR it in 2004? He was not in the sonate at the time they voted on giving Bush power to invade Iraq, so he cannot claim to have been right on the war if he wasn’t even there. He also voted exactly the same way as Hillary in all war related bills except for one.

Comment by noproblama | 2008-06-05 03:13:20

Obama is a puppet controlled by big money. His campaign was designed by Axelrod to go after the most gullible and easily controlled demographics. He has questionable relationships, political and personal. He has no resume, no grasp of the issues, no qualifications other than an obvious need for self-aggrandizement.

Yes, I disagree.

Comment by Padraig | 2008-06-05 15:41:06

You’re also ignorant.

Obama’s campaign has been marked by millions of small donations. This is a game changer – a candidate who doesn’t rely on corps for all his money. Does this mean Obama is a magical anti-corp candidate – nope. But it does mean that we all have more influence with him than we ever would under McCain. If Cltinon had relied less on Mark Penn, I think she would have done something similar, and probably would have won. Hell if she’d ever apologized for the vote on AUMF, she would have won in a walk. She’s a fine candidate, a great Democrat, and would have made one hell of a president. But Obama has the delegates, and someone has to win. Why is this evidence of corruption?

Frankly, it’s his agenda that worries most of us here. Had you mentioned issues, yeah, you have a wee bit ‘o traction with that. But the agenda of a racist, sexist, anti-semitic, anti-gay, anti-American, terrorist supporting (both domestic and international), money-laundering, lying, bought-and-paid-for Chicago politician with absolutely no experience and no morals – you’re right – it does matter! Gus, Tom,

Ah the fearmongering!!! Roe vs. Wade will never be overturned and certainly not during McCain’s presidency. First, he will have a democratic congress which will not permit it and second the republicans would like to get elected after his presidency as well. Before you retort – SCOTUS appointees must be vetted by congress – which is as we know democrat.

Both draft bills currently in the congress are authored by a democrat. if they are passed it will be by a democratic congress.

Just because he is riding the backlash of the current administration’s fuck-ups, does not mean he is in anyway qualified to correct them. He will lead this country into an even deeper hole on economy, Iraq, foreign fuel dependency, etc. MCCAIN is a better choice by far. At least we know where he stands when it comes to being proud of his country.

MUST READ: Whitey Hoax blown wide open
by The Termite [Subscribe]
Fri Jun 06, 2008 at 09:42:39 AM PDT
Conservative NRO blogger Jim Geraghty asks why the apocryphal Whitey Tape bears such an astonishing resemblance to a plot point in the 2006 political thriller novel The Power Broker, by Stephen Frey:

A major plot line of the novel is the presidential campaign of Democrat Jesse Wood, aiming to be the country’s first African American president — “Wood was handsome, smart, charismatic, and being mentioned increasingly often in the press as someone who could unite a twenty-first century America growing more, not less, racially and economically divided.” (p.35)

He’s a U.S. Senator from New York and former senior partner at a prestigious law firm. His backers include “some of the old Black Panthers.” He wants to make Puerto Rico a state, and a recurring figure in his campaign is a controversial minister from Philadelphia called “Jefferson Roundtree.”

Holy. Shit.

The Termite’s diary :: ::
Of course, there’s a videotape. And on the tape, the candidate uses the word “whitey.”

Later the tape is used for blackmail by an ally, and then the real badguy — a Texan who owns a giant oil company named Hewitt (sorry, Hugh) — gets his hands on the tape. The description of the appropriate timing of the release of the videotape on p. 237 will sound familiar to those tracking the rumors of the alleged Michelle Obama tape.

Hewitt thought for a second. “I’m going to let Jesse win the nomination and let the public get used to him as the Democratic candidate. Give the country some time to get to know Jesse Wood, to start to like him. And they will because he’s a very likeable guy. Then I’m going to drop the bomb, after everyone’s started to like him. That way the clip will have maximum effect and people will be as angry as they can be. Whites and blacks. Whites for the obvious reason, blacks because they’ll feel like he let ‘em down.”

Now. Either author Stephen Frey is clairvoyant, writing this book in 2006. Or this is one of the all time amazing coincidences. Or whoever started this rumor got the idea from a novel.

Remember, this is coming from a conservative blogger on a conservative site (in fact, Geraghty explains why he wants this shit debunked, which is interesting reading in and of itself).

If there was any lingering doubt as to whether this tape actually existed, this should drive a stake right through its heart. Not only was this a hoax; it was a poorly conceived hoax, designed by people with the brains of a garden slug and the morals of a nose hair trimmer.

Larry Johnson is a boil on the ass of the body politic. May he rot.

Wow, bitter, unhinged. This is what the republicans want to see. I’ll bet Bill Orielly loves this website and the commenters here. He’ll be mining it for his show soon enough no doubt. Maybe you’ll replace DailyKos as his primary object of hate.

There are no Democrats here. Conspiracy theorists? Check. Fearmongers? Check. Overinflated ego’s that need to lord their supposed “age and experience” and “double super secret insider only buddy of mine told me” knowledge over everyone who they disagree with. People lacking the most basic ability to look at the question of “is there a tape” using the principles of logic and occam’s razor? Check.

All I’ve seen here in response to honest questions by commenters is abuse and derision. You clearly all fear the inadequacy of your ability to argue.

Why don’t you just answer the questions? Are you afraid?

I smell fear. Powerlessness. And just the faintest whiff of xenophobia.

Feel free to prove me wrong by replying to the questions posed upthread with reasonable responses of course.

Reasonable by the way means that when you throw out a label or epithet you provide some evidence for it’s accuracy that is supported by verifiable fact.

I won’t be holding my breath.

Let me get this straight. In your world, evidence doesn’t matter because SOMEHOW you just KNOW these scurrilous accusations are true. It’s time to check your tin foil hat. It’s too tight.

The rest of us in the reality-based community require more than just your bizarre hatred.

I always thought that Clinton derangement was an obsessive hatred of Bill and Hill. In your case it seems to be a blinding abhorrence of anybody opposed to Hillary’s coronation.

Comment by She hates white people? | 2008-06-07 11:15:28

If Mrs. Obama were a serious racist, would she really have married a guy who’s half-white? Might that not make a difference, somehow?

I don’t know… this is all such a waste of energy (though some of you folks seem to get pretty worked up about it).

The things that are actually relevant to an election are how each candidate would actually govern the country. Somehow, instead of actually discussing actual issues from a neutral perspective, though, so many people squat over every little bit of dirt they can find on the candidate they dislike, cackling and rubbing their hands. Ah, righteous outrage gushing everywhere.

Unfortunately, enough Americans seem to be swayed by this crap that it actually does matter….

Larry Johnson didn’t say he had the tape, but he ‘broke’ (made up) the story, which then found its way to Taylormarsh and Hillaryis44 and even Fox News. Of course the DVDs exist – that’s why the trolls are here. Mrs. Obama is a racist, hateful person.

They are authoritarian freaks — following their messiah’s commands.

Everyone is getting a closeup view of just how cult members act. Each of these snotty creatures is a dumb ass cult member — and they will not tolerate the truth.

The truth is that they messiah is a criminal just like his best buddy Rezko. Obama was heavily involved in the Pay to Play scheme — and that is what will take him down — Obama is a greedy bastard. And he’s no AA — he may have dark skin but he is using the REAL AAs. Suckers.

Comment by **== President & Commander-in-Chief Hillary Clinton **== | 2008-06-04 23:30:21

Why are the trolls still whining about the video? You never promised it. You reported what you knew. They sure seemed concerned about a video they claimed doesn’t exist while at the same time circulating part of a transcript of the nonexistent video.

With the Rezko conviction the trolls have something much worse to worry about. They must wonder what information he has to exchange for a reduced sentence. They also must wonder why he just turned himself in to jail when he could have waited until September. They must wonder if he is about to flip on someone higher up the food chain. They must wonder who that might be.

The trolls must be having serious nightmares when they sleep.

Comment by s. hall | 2008-06-04 23:42:49

re rezko, i suspect bambi and his trolls are hoping fitzgerald goes after blago first and by the time he gets around to bambi, bambi thinks he’ll be president so he can fire fitzgerald and install someone who’ll come out with a phony story about how bambi’s completely clean….

or maybe they’ll plant some story about fitzgerald and his wife and sex clubs or whatever….

whatever happens, it’ll be fun to watch the trolls’ acrobatics as their little heads try not to explode.

Obama wouldn’t even pony up walking around money in Philly for the primary. I worked with junkies on election day in the Great Northeast who were making $75 for a morning’s “work”, if you wanna call it that, for Kerry in 2004.

Look, Mr. Johnson, you were engaging in rumor-mongering. Even if this DVD exists, you can’t go around claiming it does without any sort of proof, and then get pissy when people feel let down when it doesn’t come out. When the NYTimes reported that Iraq had weapons of mass-destruction based on Republican sources who remained anonymous, but then covered their asses by claiming that they were simply reporting what the politicians were saying, we all recognized that as bullshit. Face it – you got played by the Republicans. It happens to the best of us sometimes. But to call people who made the mistake of believing you and getting their hopes up ‘morons’ is vicious.

But I think that we’ve witnessed a public breakdown. I feel for you Larry, I’ve said some harsh provocative things here, but really, get a grip. Take some time off of public comment, and go back to being the critical analyst of US policy that you were until a few months ago. Given Obama’s disgusting (united Jerusalem? Who the fuck is he kdding?) speech at AIPAC today, I’m sure the inevitable Obama presidency will provide plenty of opportunity for Larry’s critical mind.

Also, apologize to the people you manipulated. I don’t blame you for being socialized by CIA protocol, and having a sort of mindfuck penchant. But give it up. You’re finished. You, like Hillary, can salvage your reputation and do important work. Or you can go nuts.

Wow.

Troll wannabe, the gift that keeps on giving, you tool.

Troll has no original thought, an inability to think or understand complex relationships, a very predictable flat affect that expresses itself through and by a very limited vocabulary.

well one thing is for sure.

When this tape hits…if its what is being claimed…its going to be one of the ugliest weeks in political history.

The fact that the republicans are holding it till after the convention is evil…deliciously evil.

The fact that the Obama camp is terrified and has been all over the net screaming that there is no tape and here is whyd’e she said on the tape…is fucking hilarious.

The fact that Larry is getting a reputation wedgey about it is to be expected.

But ultimately the important thing is Obama will not be the next president of the United States thanks to this and many more things to come between now and Nov 4…is reassuring and gratifying.

The fact of the matter is that America is not ready for the first unqualified unpatriotic race-baiting mysogonistic Thief and doubletalking snake oil salesman become the Commander in Chief.

But i hear that Iraq will be having elections soon…again.

Comment by Northwest rain | 2008-06-05 00:07:46

Another glitch — I hope this isn’t double post:

At this point the Democratic party no longer exists — so it is up to the Republicans to destroy Obama — and with all the stuff they have dug up on him — that is going to be such an easy job.

I sort of hope that ALL the dead-wood democrats who have supported snObama are swept OUT with the garbage. I for one will NOT be voting for anyone who endorsed snObama.

So if it is the will of the DNC to anoint snObama– I’ll take great pleasure in voting for McCain.

Also I will NEVER return to the Democratic party. They’ve made it clear that women are not wanted or needed in “their” party — so fine — let them win

Without my Vote!

Comment by Dipsomaniax | 2008-06-05 00:38:22

5. Larry looked like an idiot.

Yes, unfortunately, Larry has become a persona non grata on the internet and by the media at large.

I hated to read how they describe him as a hanger on, whose claim to fame was that he knew Valerie Plame. They even question why he spent such a short time with the CIA, way back over 20 yrs ago, and he still refers to himself as former CIA, as if he had retired after 30 years of service.

They also claim that he is one of those private contractors to the military, which is why he wanted Hillary Clinton to succeed, instead of Obama who wants to bring in change and cut the wasteful military industrial complex expenses.

You really don’t know this issue. Hillary Clinton came out in late Feb or early March on getting rid of private contractors/mercenaries like Blackwater. Obama refused to say that he would because his position is to keep them there while saying he is removing troops. You Obama followers are the really ill informed, low information voters.

How did you like your boy pandering to AIPAC? He now agrees with Hillary on using the “nuclear option” because he needs those Jewish votes. What a sham and a con artist.

Go somewhere else and do a Michelle rant dance because we don’t need or want any of you on this site. Do your rant dance somewhere else, so either go away or shut up and wait patiently like the rest of us.

This is the exact same argument used by Judy Miller – that she was just reporting what others said. It’s us idiot readers who mistook all those articles on Iraq’s WsMD as indicative of some sort of empirical reality. I mean, Bush never said that Osama and Saddam were in cahoots – it’s not their fault if more than half the country believed it for several years after the war began.

In short – this is not cool.

drkate

Do yourself a favor and read the article that was used for reference about Rezko. It would be a shame to see you all worked up about Obama because the malicious presentation on this blog, and to find out Obama has nothing to do with it.

This was clearly spelled out:

But the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee is accused of no wrongdoing and his name was barely mentioned at trial.

And when they refer to the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee they mean Obama, not Clinton.

Comment by Truthteller | 2008-06-04 23:57:02

Prodem is an idiot. What he fails to realize is that Obama was mentioned in the indictment, and he also fails to acknowledge that Obama offered shifting explanations of the donations he received from Rezko. Obama also equivocated when asked about his decision to purchase a home with a man who was already exposed for corruption in the Illinois press.

And there are lingering concerns, including Obama’s appointment to the state Senate Pensions and Investments Committee when Rezko and Levine were defrauding the Teachers’ Pension Fund. We also know a few political donations from Rezko were actually funds defrauded from investors seeking access to Illinois pensions. And then there is the small problem of Rezko staffing Obama’s Senate office.

So much more will be uncovered, and only an idiot who never bothered to read the indictments and the reports would claim Obama “is not accused of wrongdoing.” Of course he was not, for the trial focused on Rezko, not Obama. But as Fitzgerald warned, there are more dominoes to fall.

Life is difficult when one is bright and informed. Obamabots, on the other hand, life in a world of ignorance and manufactured bliss.

I love myself.

Comment by Prodem | 2008-06-05 00:13:56

Glad to hear you love yourself…I guess there were no other volunteers.

You and Larry are agenda driven zealots, obsessed with the destruction of your target.

You present an accusation referencing an article about the Rezko trial, and then claim of course this trial didn’t target Obama.
Then why are you presenting it as evidence of his involvement.
If you are so sure that Obama will go to trial, kindly wait till it happens so we can all watch the TV coverage.

In the meantime, try to find the famous tape Larry tries to peddle.

If it was a DVD that was sold by the church, how come there is only one in existence, hidden at an undisclosed location?

You and Larry must feel pretty rotten, seeing how things turned out…>sigh<

Sounds to me like this entry in Wikipedia:

Urban legends are sometimes repeated in news stories and, in recent years, distributed by e-mail. People frequently allege that such tales happened to a “friend of a friend”—so often, in fact, that “friend of a friend,” (”FOAF”) has become a commonly used term when recounting this type of story.

It will come out – just when…

Hopefully HillBuzz with that incredible investigative journalism helped made it easier to track down. Now just publicly offer a huge reward and a number to call for it – someone else has to have a copy who attended and are just waiting to come forward for the right price.

Whoever breaks this story will forever go down in political history as the greatest political journalist of a generation.

If Obama is such a loser, then you won’t have to worry about his administration. McCain will still win (because Obama is apparently super unpopular once you discount that fact that he’s beating McCain in the polls), and you’ll get to feel really virtuous. Then, you can scream ‘I told ya so’ along with Strawberry without having weighted the dice by voting for the republicans. And if Obama loses, I’ll eat my hat and call you prescient.

Of course they will keep it under wraps. They won’t release it now giving Obama 5 months to do damage control.

Even European blogs are talking about Michelle’s Whitey Tape.

After seeing all the garbage the Obama camp and AxelRove circulated about Hillary (like “Clinton’s Pastor a child molester” when the pastor was from A TOWN NAMED CLINTON), I am laughing that this “rumor” is all over the world now.

The youtube video from THE OBAMA CAMPAIGN telling Republicans and Independents how to register as “Democrats for a Day” to vote against Hillary has been made viewable by invite only! Check youtube for video’s on Obama and you will see many are “no longer available” after the site was pressured to remove them. comments disable, even ratings disabled to prevent them from getting lots of views. The Obama campaign has censored every thing they can! Ah, the press is catching on. Well, the European press. Quote:

Mrs Obama’s stump speech is riddled with complaints that people she calls a generic “they” have tried to deny her husband the nomination.

She draws politically potent parallels between his candidacy and the plight of African Americans who suffer because “they constantly move the goalposts”, a message that some see as reinforcing a culture of the victim among some black voters.

Byron York, the White House correspondent of the conservative magazine National Review, summarised her stump speech as “an hour-long tale of resentment and anger”.

The article also mentions ‘blogger Larry Johnson’.

It was the most up front I have seen Karl Rove be to this date, regarding what is in store for “I did not see it coming” Barak Obama.

If clueless is defined by not seeing that Rev Wright and that church was a problem then BO needs to climb under the bus his own self.

Yes, a lot of references are made to blogger Larry Johnson, and none complimentary…

BTW, the whole premise of the Michelle tape is flawed:

UPDATE: A reader found the schedule for the 2004 Rainbow/PUSH Coalition Conference. For what it is worth, there’s no mention of Michelle Obama as a speaker. She is mentioned as a “special guest” at the Women’s Luncheon on Monday, June 28, 2004, along with Shoshana Johnson, the first African-American woman POW. (This is obviously the event where they were photographed with Mrs. Farrakhan.)

Maybe Obama supporters would do better to go to a Repub blog and argue with them.

I mean, Obama is running against McCain now, right?

Go to Michelle Malkin’s site. She doesn’t believe the tape exists either. However, she is bashing the Obama’s daily on other things.

The IP addresses of many of the commenters on this site match those on right-wing sites such as Captains-Quarters, Red State, and our personal favorite, Michael Savage.

To the genuine Hillary supporters (not the idiot McCain troublemakers), your candidate ran an amazing campaign, but this thing is over. It’s time to come together and prevent McCain from continuing George Bush’s catastrophic policies. Even four years of McCain could do irreparable damage to our country. From overturning Roe V. Wade to bombing Iran and starting a new cold war with Russia and China…

Clinton and Obama’s policies are nearly identical. McCain is George Bush with a bad temper.

First off, the constant tactic of making it about Mr. Johnson vs. Obama supporters and being so negative is a bad start to making an objective argument.

And you know what? I REALLY don’t think Michelle Malkin in an Obama fan. And even she can tell something is up here. I didn’t think there was any anti-Democratic rumor she’d pass up.

Show the evidence or at least, act like an adult when questioned about a lack of evidence. That’s the honorable thing to do. I would be just as offended if someone was posting rumors about Sen. Clinton and I’d hope anyone would.

As for posters:

The Obama brownshirts have done everything to maim our chosen candidate Hillary Clinton

Damn, I hope that is a parody or a flyby troll. If they’re serious and this is typical, it’s worse than Free Republic in here.

I admire Hillary Clinton a great deal. She deserves way better than this kind of “support”.

He has earned this nomination through hard work but you and your bloggers are treating him as if he is the worst human being in the world. Our nation is suffering right now and many people don’t want to hear this crap that you are spreading. I give both Senator Clinton and Senator Obama for running an historic campaign. I try harder than anything else to make myself clear. I try to state things as simply and unambiguously as I can because I find that that’s the best way to convince my readers that we must get beyond name-calling. I would like to start by discussing Sen. Hillary Clinton’s undertakings, mainly because they scare me. The thing I’m the most frightened about is that I will decidedly not bow to coercion, intimidation, or the threat of violence. I know you’re wondering why I just wrote that. I’ll explain shortly, but first, I should state that Sen. Clinton’s helots like to say, “Ruffianism resonates with the body’s natural alpha waves.” Such frothy eloquence neither convinces nor satisfies me. If someone wants me to believe something prurient like that, that person will have to show me some concrete evidence. Meanwhile, I intend to show you that one could truthfully say that people who agree with Sen. Clinton’s ideals are either stupid, drunk, on drugs, paid off by Sen. Clinton, or are the most pugnacious megalomaniacs I’ve ever seen. But saying that would miss the real point, which is that she says she’s going to tear down everything that can possibly be regarded as a support of cultural elevation before long. Is she out of her counter-productive mind? The answer is fairly obvious when you consider that by comparing today to even ten years ago and projecting the course we’re on, I’d say we’re in for an even more corrupt, picayunish, and demented society, all thanks to Sen. Clinton’s precepts.

I heard through the grapevine that the mess that Sen. Clinton has left behind is sometimes hard to see but eventually will be impossible to ignore. Whether or not this rumor is true, her foot soldiers resist seeing that an increasing number of people abhor her nasty crusades and are looking for alternatives, like the truth. They resist seeing such things because to see them, to examine them, to think about them and draw conclusions from them is to listen to others. I never cease to be amazed at the way that I am reminded of the quote, “Any correspondence between what she says and the truth is purely coincidental.” This comment is not as haughty as it seems because Sen. Clinton seems to assume that free speech is wonderful as long as you’re not bashing her and the unreasonable proponents of feudalism in her gang. This is an assumption of the worst kind because it will not be easy to give her condign punishment. Nevertheless, we must attempt to do exactly that for the overriding reason that Sen. Clinton has the nerve to call those of us who lead us all toward a better, brighter future “conspiracy theorists”. No, we’re “conspiracy revealers” because we reveal that Sen. Clinton’s subalterns have learned their scripts well and the rhetoric comes gushing forth with little provocation.

There is not a single word in that sentence that Sen. Clinton can take exception to. That sounds really truculent, but I undeniably contend that it’s an accurate assessment of the situation. Let’s play a little game. Deduct one point from your I.Q. if you fell for her ridiculous claim that her faith in cameralism gives her an uncanny ability to detect astral energy and cosmic vibrations. Deduct another point if you failed to notice that I have traveled the length and breadth of this country and talked with the best people. I can therefore assure you that we must overcome the fears that beset us every day of our lives. We must overcome the fear that Sen. Clinton will create division in the name of diversity. And to overcome these fears, we must prevent the Sen. Clinton-induced catastrophe I foresee and save our nation from its time of deepest humiliation and disgrace. As I conclude this letter, let me remind you that my goal in writing it was not only to shatter the illusion that Sen. Hillary Clinton’s opinions represent the opinions of the majority — or even a plurality. I sought also to use this letter as a means to make her answer for her wrongdoings.

It’s disgusting. No credible blogger would put up with this.

I guess I should take the humorous view, though. If you people are serious, you’re getting more marginalized by the second. Sen. Clinton ran a tough campaign (albeit, not always the smartest one) and she lost. She will concede in a few days.

And how do you cope with the fact that she wants to be, or at least wants to be seriously considered, as Obama’s Vice President? Will you fling names at her, also? And if she believes this rumor, why would she want to be on the ticket?

Mull that over, Mr. Johnson and others. See if you can manage a cogent answer.

Miss O,
Mrs Obama’s verbal and written words create a reasonable assurance that she holds those values. If you take her at her own words and deeds, it is not difficult to see the anger and racial tension she possesses. If you are willing to accept that, good for you. Some others take offense, most would not find it humorous. And regarding the hateful words she spews please don’t insult anyone’s intelligence by suggesting that wasn’t what she meant- again. If you are truly concerned with unity, you might also consider the fact that Mrs. Obama herself publicly stated she would likely not support Hillary-the other democrat in the race.
With regard to the remainder of your post, I personally will not be influenced by anyone that supports Mr Obama. His corruption, lies, and immoral activity coupled with a blatant lack of qualification cannot be wished away.

That is only one of many reasons this ghost of smoke and mirrors will not become the president…not now, not ever!

Comment by Lisa | 2008-06-05 00:54:39

Let me get this straight… 5 separate people tell you there’s a tape of Michelle Obama ranting against “whitey” from the pulpit of Trinity United Church. Then, when people start to question why she would be speaking from the church pulpit, the story (again from these same people apparently) changes to “no, it wasn’t from the pulpit. It was a panel discussion at Trinity”. Days or weeks later, the name “Louis Farrakhan” is introduced into the story. (Why did none of these 5 people who spoke to some other people who saw the tape mention Farrakhan from the beginning? That would seem a QUITE important and memorable detail, no?) Now, via Hillbuzz, the story changes again. It wasn’t a panel (or pulpit speech) at Trinity Church with or without Louis Farrakhan, after all. It was a Rainbow/PUSH coalition panel at the Sheraton with Mrs. Farrakhan. And the DVD of this event was available from the Trinity Church website until recently. (Why, if it wasn’t a Trinity event? Guess that part of the story wasn’t updated when the venue changed to the Sheraton). And why can none of these sources provide a straight story or a direct quote from this long rant?

Have the Obam-ites noticed how well Michelle has been kept under wraps the last few months?

They know she can’t control herself from berating “greedy white folks” also referred to as “they.” She loves to remind everyone “America is mean.”

She couldn’t resist telling a reporter she wanted to rip out Bill Clinton’s eyes. Think about the amount of rage in a woman who could not stop herself from saying something like that to a reporter.

She’s Obama’s loosest cannon because he can’t throw her under the bus as he did with Wright.

And now the game has changed. How can they keep the woman who may become First Lady away from the press for the next 5-6 months.

Impossible.

Michelle is incapable of hiding a lifetime of hatred against “whitey.”

She exposed her children to the pulpit-humping Rev. Wright who tells AA gang bangers who kill other AAs, “You’re shooting the wrong people!”

She let her kids listen to this tripe. She believes they need to learn this hatred rooted in victimhood. That’s how deeply indoctrinated she is.

Michelle has a burning need to remain ANGRY. Her anger and rage makes her feel strong and powerful. She’s incapable of toning down her hatred of white Americans. It’s her drug.

Tape or no tape, Michelle will be BO’s downfall.

Comment by so saddened | 2008-06-05 01:04:54

Dems don’t do their homework the way Republicans do. Everything is always pretty slipshod. Obama’s campaign is exceptional. It is almost as if it were being run by experienced Republicans who leave little to chance.

Assuming LJ’s sources were not all talking to the same one or two disinformation sources, the tapes will air.

Odd so much effort is expended on something that does not exist, or, if it does, is unimportant, or if not unimportant, is a fabrication, or, if not a fabrication, a misrepresentation.

So many holes in this story pointed out in multiple articles that it’s not believeable. This election is going to be a tonic. Erric, I’m sure we disagree on almost all the issues, but the fact that we have two candidates who at least ostensibly want to talk about policy is heartwarming.

I think the reason the Obama/Hillary fight has gotten so vicious is because it’s entirely about personality. They have extremely similar platforms, so what do the Democrats fight about? Obama’s wife, sniper fire, flag pins. The primaries haven’t been about policy, they’ve been about smears. Hopefully from now to the election we can focus on the issues, which after all are the point of government. I’m hoping sites like this will fade (even further) into the background noise as the election becomes more substantive.

Comment by uhh somehow this notion that I am qualified to be president is uhh uhh ridiculous | 2008-06-05 13:52:03

Senator Obama must first decide which of his own policies he will not waffle on or backtrack from before a real conversation can begin. Is Iran a threat or not? Talk to terrorists without precondition in his first year or not? Raise the capital gains tax or not? Nafta? Yes, no..uhhh, uhhh. Just vote “present” and it all goes away, and when all else fail refuse to debate anyone unless it’s a tyrant you agree with, I suppose.

Every time this man appears to use bad judgment or unethical procedures the topic is suddenly changed to policy. We weren’t hearing about policy when he gave Mrs Clinton the finger, when he insulted the gun-toting bigots, when he just wanted to eat waffles in public, when the media thought it was news worthy that he wore jeans. The list goes on and on with Obama’s faux prepubescent dribble.

When a grown up from Obama’s allegiance is ready to substantially talk policy, there may be very few people left willing to listen.

Let me add that Free Republic is another possible source.

I mentioned them also, just in a slightly different way.

For the moment, at least, I refuse to buy that most of these people are real Sen. Clinton supporters.

But it’s the worst kind of form to get angry because you tout something, can’t produce any proof, and have even the wild girl Michelle Malkin questioning the validity of the rumor.

RWers also swore up and down Kerry was having an affair, Edwards was having an affair, etc. etc. etc. That was false.

If the truth doesn’t matter to people, that’s damning as hell. Period.

At no time have I claimed to have the tape or promised to deliver said tape. In fact, I reported that Republicans working on behalf of McCain are desperate to keep this under wraps until Obama is formally nominated in August. Got it?

Yes you did. You told Joey under the Hillbuzz 4am comment that the Republicans didn’t know where to find it and that “we have cracked the code” and you told people to be patient.

i have DEFINITIVE proof that the ark of the covenant exists. several completely reliable sources have sworn to me that they have seen a video in which the ark is opened and peoples faces melt off. they are only keeping in storage for the moment because they want to wait for the most opportune time to release its awesome power on the world and further their dastardly plans….

check back here every few hours for more updates, but i hear that they could reveal the secrets of the ark anytime between next tuesday and the end of time…

this is THE BIG ONE….

Comment by Diana | 2008-06-05 01:10:55

I think Newsmax is the one holding onto the video. I do believe the video exists and I believe this wasn’t Michelle’s first visit to a Rainbow Coalition. In 1992 Sister Souljah basically promoted the same thing Black on White Crime, and Bill Clinton chastised her. She said, “Blacks would be justified in killing whites and that whites had a “low-down dirty nature.” I began researching this last week and have continued. Nexmax has an awful lot of archived articles on that coalition in 2004. Jet Magazine was also there. They wouldn’t dare do anything to harm Obama, even if they had it. However, I also believe Jesse Jackson has it, why after all Bill has done for him he’s not letting go I don’t know or understand.

I heard tonight Hillary is suspending her campaign. I really wish she would consider running on an Independent ticket. The DNC has ruined any chance they had of getting the Independents, or Republicans that were voting for her to come into the party. I’ve been reading the comments and I read where a few people had asked why not a McCain/Clinton ticket. I also heard this asked tonight on the news. The political strategist said it’s not unheard of, but McCain is already a very liberal Republican so he’s going to need a conservative on his ticket. I don’t agree. I think two people willing to cross lines to work for all Americans may be exactly what we need.

Below is the kind of BS that is flowing from the Obama wusses sites: I love the way they are all making demands of HRC, as if they mattered. I also enjoy seeing all of the “kissy-face” stuff, as if it mattered. None of their intonations or wishes matter.

To them, I reaffirm that the war is on! No peace, no surrender, Nobama! Period! Look forward to President McCain!, bastards.

The following is from the constantly carping and puling idiot Bowers at “Open Left-ist”:

On Clinton’s Non-Concession
by: Chris Bowers
Wed Jun 04, 2008 at 00:07

“And yet, Hillary Clinton has not conceded. Part of me doesn’t care, because Obama has won in virtually everyone’s estimation and there is no argument her campaign can make anymore (although maybe I shouldn’t underestimate them). Another part of me thinks that if the campaign is over under the most extreme Clinton campaign argument, it is high time for Hillary Clinton to start helping Barack Obama win the general election in November. She should suspend her campaign as soon as possible. She can even keep her delegates if she wants, but it is time to acknowledge that Barack Obama will be the nominee.

So, since she asked, I suggest that you send her a message on her website. Tell her that it is time to suspend her campaign ASAP, and acknowledge that Barack Obama will be the Democratic nominee. Really, this needs to happen tomorrow, because otherwise the media focus will be on Clinton’s refusal to concede and a continued division within the party. However, I will settle for Thursday, at the latest.

Go to Clinton’s website, and tell her it is time for unity. Be nice when you do so, since nobody likes a sore winner. We have been divided long enough. The time for that division to end is now.”

No, give ME a break. You really think Obama is going to reform health care, end the war, regulate Wall Street, and wean the country off oil? Let me guess–that’s just his first week in office.

Here’s the unpleasant truth about “change”–it happens very slowly. The Founding Fathers wanted our government to function deliberatively, and for good reason. Does Obama even understand how Washington works? What exactly did he accomplish in the 15 minutes he spent in the Senate before he started running for POTUS? Do you really think all the old war horses in Congress with decades of experience are going to fall over themselves to help some young upstart remake our way of life?

Obama has somehow managed to convince his supporters, especially the gullible college crowd, that he can move mountains. I know humility isn’t his strong suit, but he can’t possibly believe that he can “heal the planet,” as he said in his speech Tuesday night. If he does, he’s delusional. And if he doesn’t, he’s a complete fraud.

Of course, he IS a complete fraud. Prepare to be disappointed.

Comment by so saddened | 2008-06-05 02:10:01

didn’t listen to his speech, as i can’t stand the sight or sound of him. but “heal the planet” sounds like a lot of the other crap i’ve read from transcripts of his bullshit. and his wife, who doesn’t impress me as crazy but does impress me as full of hate, makes similar claims – he will heal our souls, etc.

normally, people like this end up getting understanding nods as they rant on street corners before some social agency picks them up and takes them for psychiatric help. or they end up like hitler, stalin, etc. either way, no good comes of it.

either he’s an incredibly prolific liar (i’m sure this is true) or suffering from severe delusions (i’m pretty sure this is true as well) or both.

the idea of this man in a position of power, especially the presidency, is really, really, really, frightening.

Here’s my theory about the “tape.” Since Beckel referred to it the other day (an Obama pundit — aren’t they all?) my guess is the BO campaign is trying to play up how horrible it is, so that when they release it everyone will go, “Oh, Michelle is screaming about hateful whities, but, you know, it isn’t as bad as they said it would be. I mean, she didn’t say she wanted to blow up Washington or that 9/11 was what whities and jews deserved.” So the suspense they’ve created will serve to diminish the nausea that we’ll feel when we finally see the tape.

They were going to release it today, just after securing the nomination and after Hillary conceded (which of course she didn’t do, making her appear villainous to them.) But, since HRC didn’t concede and they remembered BO was speaking at AIPAC they decided to send a team of caucusing super delegates to her house to beat a suspension of her campaign out of her and the tape will be released on Fri or Sat.

This gives them the maximum amount of time to disown his wife and have everyone forget that Obama hates America, hate Jews, hates whites and would be the most dangerous possible President America has ever considered for the Presidency.

I’m counting on every HRC supporter to continue to write super delegates saying that while you support HRC 100% you don’t agree with her that BO is better than McCain because BO’s campaign has subjected you to the most hateful vitriol on the web and, while it is one thing to assualt the character of a political opponent it is another thing entirely to assualt the character of the voters you want to endorse you with their vote. It would be a violation of our integrity to vote for Obama after the way his supporters have treated us. (And, the DNC for that mattter.)

CAIndie,

Which Black Liberation Theology Talking Point is: Clinton and Obama’s policies are nearly identical?

When I was researching McCain last night, I realized that he was far less of a corporate hack than Oblowme.

So, after thousands of dollars spent in the last Democrat Presidential campaign for the primary and GE; I’m backing a WINNER and a REAL WAR HERO!

Not someone who’s too put out to wear a flag pin, but someone who was tortured to the point of his hair turning white and needing a chest cast and being unable to raise his arms over his head to this day.

I’m impressed by McCain-Feingold, in-depth military knowledge and real foreign policy experience.

I will proudly wear a McCain shirt this 4th of July.

And I have already taken down the signed photo of Jimmy Carter and my Husband in my office.

Comment by SONIA | 2008-06-05 01:44:26

Dear ====
I wanted you to be one of the first to know: on Saturday, I will hold an event in Washington D.C. to thank everyone who has supported my campaign. Over the course of the last 16 months, I have been privileged and touched to witness the incredible dedication and sacrifice of so many people working for our campaign. Every minute you put into helping us win, every dollar you gave to keep up the fight meant more to me than I can ever possibly tell you.

On Saturday, I will extend my congratulations to Senator Obama and my support for his candidacy. This has been a long and hard-fought campaign, but as I have always said, my differences with Senator Obama are small compared to the differences we have with Senator McCain and the Republicans.

I have said throughout the campaign that I would strongly support Senator Obama if he were the Democratic Party’s nominee, and I intend to deliver on that promise.

When I decided to run for president, I knew exactly why I was getting into this race: to work hard every day for the millions of Americans who need a voice in the White House.

I made you — and everyone who supported me — a promise: to stand up for our shared values and to never back down. I’m going to keep that promise today, tomorrow, and for the rest of my life.

I will be speaking on Saturday about how together we can rally the party behind Senator Obama. The stakes are too high and the task before us too important to do otherwise.

I know as I continue my lifelong work for a stronger America and a better world, I will turn to you for the support, the strength, and the commitment that you have shown me in the past 16 months. And I will always keep faith with the issues and causes that are important to you.

In the past few days, you have shown that support once again with hundreds of thousands of messages to the campaign, and again, I am touched by your thoughtfulness and kindness.

I can never possibly express my gratitude, so let me say simply, thank you.

Sincerely,

Hillary Rodham Clinton

People who are learned, educated, and do all they can to make themselves better are just fooled by anything because they don’t typically think like me.

And it’s just too darn hard to and too darn slow and too grandiose to try to help the world, even as president, so why should we even try.

The tape is a hoax.

My boss, a well-known conservative Republican who shall not be named, has seen the allegedly explosive tape. There is nothing on it aside from a speech touching on “social justice,” the plight of Africa and the African-American diaspora, and the policies of the Bush and Clinton administrations.

No mentions of “whitey” and nothing any more controversial than a typical column by people I admire like Ann Coulter and Michelle Malkin. I think we conservatives are being set up by Hillary and her supporters.

Personally, I think this tape issue should be dropped, lest it become part of an inaccurate narrative that hurts innocent parties on both sides of the aisle.

However, I don’t see that happening, as I think Larry Johnson and Hillary Clinton both suffer the affliction of being pathological liars.

Comment by Mahatma X | 2008-06-05 01:53:20

If nothing else, just from strolling around the blogosphere – it looks like the “tape” has managed to unite bloggers of a whole variety of political persuasions (except for the usual dead-enders who still think Bush is God) that Johnson’s totally full of it. Quite an accomplishment there, Larry. Good job!

Do you all remember that the very same mean and nasty things you all are saying about Michelle Obama are the very same mean and nasty things people said about Hillary in 1992? A lot of people HATED Hillary back in the day (and some still do). But she turned out to be a great First Lady and an amazing stateswoman in her own right. Please, please… you all have got to stop with the madness and the personal attacks. I understand that your candidate didn’t win, and it is certainly your right to vote for McCain if you feel he is better than Obama, but you have to realize how horribly you all make yourselves look to the rest of the country. I doubt any of you would want your children to read the mean-spirited and hateful things that are being posted here. We can agree to disagree… without all the hate and vitriol.

Did they admit that they had thier daughter baptized by a head klansman? Did there friends, stand up and chear while racist remarks were made? And was there a tape of this happening? No, that is the truth no, so there is no way you can compare Michelle to Hillary, period. Rev. Wright is no different than a klansman…Racism is racism no matter who does it.I do feel McCain is better than Obama, and this is not about bitterness, BEFORE he was ahead I would not have voted for him………understand before???? I had the chance to do that in the ridged caucus, but I did not………So, in the fall McCain will be my choice. This has been hard for some of us, I have NEVER voted rep. Hillary had the support of flag officers and veterans, and McCain served his country. Michelle Obama is not proud of her country, and Obama never served. Obama knows nothing about the military, and no one I know really respects him. How will this guy serve as Commander in Chief? Who will follow his orders? My buds and I laugh each time this Obama guy refers to himself as future Commander in Chief.

I voted for Hillary, but now I will vote for McCain. Obama does not understand the military, and that is a problem.

It’s funny seeing Obamatons saying they dont need or want Clinton supporters. They wont get us anyhow, but they need to learn simple math.

17million votes Obama wont get
+17million votes for McCain
34 million votes.
Do you Obamatons think your messiah can pull an extra 34 million votes out of his ass? Sorry, there aren’t that many graveyards in Chicago.

PS Fox news has started an investigation into dead people voting…perhaps mr Obama should double check the people his Obamatons put down as caucusing for him.

Comment by Kinky Ogremann | 2008-06-05 02:27:36

You don’t even need that many – the last two presidential elections were decided by:
2000 – close to 550,000 people more for Gore
2004 – about a little over 2 million more votes for Bush.

Even if only 1/4 of Hillary’s supporters defect as polls show they would, it’s enough to cause the biggest lost in history by their messiah – especially given the electoral college.

He’s do deeply entrenched in his own horsepuckey that he has lost all sight of reality.

Way to go, dead-enders! FYI–Hillary is conceding.

At least Hillary loves her country. Michelle Obama is a bitter and nasty Black nationalist who hangs out with Muslims.

Comment by banfield | 2008-06-05 02:03:54

Would you describe her as uppity?

How about this: “nasty uppity Black nationalist who hangs out with Muslims”

Comment by Patriot69 | 2008-06-05 02:05:34

No, I would not describe her as uppity. She is an ingrate. Handed opportunities, and she is not proud of her country?

Comment by banfield | 2008-06-05 02:20:45

Is she an “uppity ingrate”?

No MORON she is suspending her campaign. For those of you with inadequate IQ, that means she is putting it on hold, but reserving the right to continue her campaign at a later date maintaining all of her delegates.

Comment by banfield | 2008-06-05 02:05:49

She still has a chance! that video is going to surface any time now!

It didn’t exactly matter if WMDs were found or not to Bu$hCo either, just that they got their war. That’s not exactly a sound approach to reasoning.

Comment by lawrence | 2008-06-05 02:00:35

I voted for Hillary, but now I will vote for McCain. Obama does not understand the military, and that is a problem.

Hill and McCain both understand how to waste our military might away in stupid places like Iraq, while Ayman al-Zawahiri makes new video tapes.

Comment by Carolinavet | 2008-06-05 02:03:54

Flag Officers support Hillary. None support Obama, who is out of touch with the military.

Did Obama’s church allow Hamas to publish letters in the church newsletter?

Hillary may support him but she can do it without me. They still don`t realize, that is not just about Hillary. It`s the DNC takeover, the bias media and newspapers who can`t get of their asses to cover a story. Instead they just rely on memos from BO. Well I`m not falling for this group hug shit. Not for a minute.

Hillary is doing what she thinks she must, okay. I’ve cheered her on,contributed to her campaign, and ranted about how this whole dem primary played out. I know she has her reasons.

However, I can not in good conscience vote for Obama, and I will not. I also don’t happen to believe McCain is a threat as far as supreme judge appointments go, or that he is “McSame”. Back in 2000 I voted for McCain in the primary, and Gore for President when McCain didn’t prevail.

This year I will vote for McCain to Obama won’t prevail.

What I don’t think most of Obama/Marxist supporters do not understand.

Have you even thought about how many people may have voted for Hillary as just a vote against Obama/Marxist?

So stop saying that it is just us “women” who do not want vote for him.

I believe the people on hear with the racist stuff are not Hillary supporters but Obama/Marxist dailyidiots trying to hurt this site.

So, Larry can you not post those so we can not have them saying this is a racist site.

Its not about race it is about we just don’t like or trust your beloved Obama/Marxist.

NO OBAMA/MARXIST
MCCAIN 2008

Marxist/Marxist

We don’t want you voting for our party, is it that hard to understand?

The best thing to come out of this primary is that we were able to purge the people like you from the party. Win or lose, you’re not in the “tent” anymore. Bye bye.

Comment by Parallel Universe | 2008-06-05 02:13:31

Have you ever thought about how many people may have voted for Obama as just a vote against Hillary?

It’s not about gender; it’s about us not liking or trusting your beloved Hillary/Liar/Narcissist/Delusional/Slash slash slash.

By the way, your argument is ridiculous. If you only voted for Hillary because you don’t like Obama, then why are you so upset that she’s suspending her campaign? Better question: Why are you even voting at all???

Comment by Patriot69 | 2008-06-05 02:07:35

She and Barack Obama say they are not Muslims, and I believe them. But they have a lot of Muslim friends.

Comment by Parallel Universe | 2008-06-05 02:16:24

So what? When did an entire religion become our enemy? Islam as a whole is not the enemy; crazed, suicidal jihadists are. Critical thinking does not seem to be a strong suit…. *smdh*

dear new york giants:

despite being 36 years old and a touch out of shape, and despite believing that i truly am your best option at cornerback for next season, i will be suspending my candidacy for the position for the time being. the fact that i fainted in the middle of my tryout notwithstanding, i think a lot of the appalachian coaches on the team really liked me and would have selected me if i had been able to respond to their voices.

please note that i am not terminating my quest to play for the team. i reserve the right to resume my campaign for the position whenever i see fit…and don’t you forget it! but until then i’ll support the other guy who tried out – the one who’s 22, fast, talented and runs a 4.4 40.

What a joke! Obama is a communist now!

I still can’t understand peoples who vote for the ennemy, and furthermore, for a man who only want to raise the world resentment against the US by raising it’s power to do war “on our own”
