Delicious Dissent

Amid all the calls for party unity from the same folks that brought you a very undemocratic solution to Michigan and Florida, a new voice is beginning to be spoken. Loudly. And from many directions.

One website is already offering Democrats for McCain bumper stickers. Their motto is: You only thought we were bitter before!

dems 4 mccain

And then there is the wonderful new creation from Riverdaughter at The Confluence.

The Puma Party. Party Unity My Ass

PUMA

The action plan for PUMAs is:

1.) Dissociate yourself from the party. Tell them you will not be a party to its self destructive behavior.

2.) Reflect on your values. Read the credo at the top of this site and create at better one. Keep the language general and inclusive. Concentrate on universal truths and beliefs. Avoid wordsmithing.

3.) Stick together. We are powerful as a unit if we do not fall victim to the psychological warfare that is about to be directed at us. Turn off the media. Avoid conversations with trolls. Stand firm and do not yield.

4.) Remember that there is a better alternative. Hillary Clinton is the strongest candidate for the party and the nation. She has a lot of support out there. The nation will rally around her if we let them know we are not giving in. We must not let her concede one inch. Stand firm. Send her your good thoughts. Send her money. Do not give up.

5.) Spread the word.

And finally the fine folks at Democratic No More have began a campaign called Say Goodbye. It is a wonderful way to express to the rest of the country that you have had it with the Democratic Party and are not looking back. So please take the time to sign up.

One of my absolute favorite bloggers Uppity Woman says it best in her latest blog: Delusional Barack Obama. Baaarack

Because as I mentioned earlier in Screw You Roger Simon!, the Obama camp thinks we are all little sheep that will come running back to the fold. It is as if the anointed one really does believe that his very word is all we have been waiting to hear. According to them Obama isn’t even going to waste his time working for our votes. He sincerely believes we will follow him like the rest of his Cult. Delusional is Right Uppity. No other word even comes close.

Except perhaps Psychopath.

Love the Pink Puma.

Ditto that…..I’m cutting a stencil to put that on T-shirts for me and my daughter….I’m a Clinton Democrat and until August Support her. If Obama the fascist is still standing I’ll vote McCain as an independent…

**** OBAMA IS UNFIT FOR ANY ELECTIVE OFFICE ****

Comment by s. hall | 2008-06-05 10:47:33

amen to that — Working Class. I respect Hillary’s decision but it does not and never will effect my decision. If I had been treated like Hillary was by the Demonazi Party I would have walked and taken my delegates with me. I would not have allowed Nancy and Howard to talk down to me like that.

I was a Hillary Precinct Captain for the last year and a half. She was in my thoughts 24/7 — but I always kept in the back of my mind that I would not vote for Obama under any circumstances. No matter how much the media or the Democratic Party pushed him. I will be a Democrat for McCain (although I just switched to Independent) because he stands for whats right about this country. He approaches the job with humility and a love for this nation that Obama couldn’t even begin to understand.

I believe that McCain is starting to come across more as a moderate which will help pry alot of people from our party. God bless him and keep him well. I just hope the media starts doing its job and that the powers that be have not anointed Obama.

Comment by SergeiRostov | 2008-06-05 19:26:01

As proven by The Daily Howler, McCain only wants to stay in Iraq “for 100 years” if no soldiers are being wounded or killed, citing as analogy our presence in South Kroea. So your argument is phony right there.

And as for the economy, you might call McCain a Bush clone on that, but at least Bush manage to create a few million jobs, while Obama not only left his constituents in the poverty in which he found them, but actually defended his district’s slumlords against criminal prosecution so that they could make that poverty WORSE.

I have opposed this war from the beginning. You sound like the kind of idiot who believes Obama intends to leave Iraq. Dream ON! His buddies Rezko, Khaladi and Auchi have been cleaning up stealing millions of taxpayer dollars on this war. He is not going to do a damned thing. He has had his advisors state that he does not mean that whole 16 months thing.

By the way, my son’s best friend lost his eye, one arm and the use of one leg in the war. Another close friend died. A third friend has been shot twice. You see poor people know what this is really all about.

I believe some with a little backbone stands a better chance of keeping those who are there safe. No one in either party has demostrated any inclination of ending this war. Talk is cheap. I want someone who will stand up for those who are there. That is not someone who votes present every time a controversial issue comes along.

So, shame on you. You are dispicable.

AND BELOW MY REPLY:

I AM SORRY SEN RODHAM, I CANNOT SUPPORT SEN OBAMA, THAT MAN IS NOT QUALIFIED FOR THE PRESIDENCY. IT IS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO PUT IN THE WHITE HOUSE THE BEST QUALIFIED PERSON AND THAT IS YOU. I DO NOT HAVE TO FOLLOW THE MISTAKE THE DNC HAS DONE WITH THEIR TRICKS TO TAKE YOU OUT OF THE RACE. AND I FELT THAT INJUSTICE DONE TO YOU HAS BEEN DONE TO THOSE 18 MILLIONS PEOPLE THAT VOTED FOR YOU.

IF THIS WAS ABOUT TO VOTE FOR WHOEVER THE DNC WANTS FOR CANDIDATE, I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN A DEMOCRAT, BUT SADLY THERE IS DNC ANYMORE, THE DNCE IS A CORRUPT PARTY.

IF THEY FORCED YOU TO FOLLOW ORDERS, THAT DOES NOT APPLY TO ME. I WON’T NEVER VOTE FOR THAT MAN, AND TO WAIT REPUBLICANS FIND OUT WITH PRODUCED EVIDENCE THAT HE IS A CRIMINAL, IT IS A SHAME FROM THE PART OF THE DNC TO ASK US TO VOTE FOR A DELINQUENT. THAT’S DISGUSTING. NO MONEY FROM ME, NO SUPPORT, WHEN THE DNC COMES TO ITS SENSES I WILL REVISE MY DECISION TO CONTRIBUTE FOR THE PARTY AGAIN, ONCE YOU PUT SEN RODHAM AS THE NOMINEE, SHE WON AND YOU KNOW IT.

NO WAY YOU WILL CONVINCE ME WITH ”THE FALSE MESSAGE OF UNITY”, YOU THE DNC WERE THE FIRST ONE WHO DID NOT PLAY FAIR BY STEALING FL AND MI VOTES FROM SEN RODHAM, AND WITH ‘THAT’ YOU CREATED DIVISION. WE ARE HURT, THAT’S NOT EASY TO HEAL. I PREFER TO HAVE A REPUBLICAN THAN TO HAVE ‘A TERRORIST AND CORRUPT POLITICIAN FROM CHICAGO’. WHAT? TO WAIT WHEN HE IS SWORN AND THEN REVEAL ALL THE SCANDALS THAT ARE IN ‘HOLD’, TO ASK HIM TO RESIGN AND HAVE THE PEOPLE AGAIN GO THROUGH THAT DISGUSTING SCENE. COME ON, YOU KNOW ALL ABOUT THIS MAN, DON’T TRY TO FOOL THE PEOPLE. I DON’T CARE IF THE MEDIA WON’T COVER IT, TO HAVE HIM AS THE DEMOCRATIC NOMINEE, FOR MCCAIN TO DEFEAT HIM ONCE ALL THE ‘DIRT’ COMES OUT.

NO, YOU ACT WITH RESPECT TOWARDS THE VOTERS AND REMOVE THAT MAN FROM POLITICS, SEND HIM TO AFRICA, HIS MAJOR INTEREST IS AFRICA, WELL SEND HIM TO AFRICA, THIS IS THE USA AND WE NEED A PRESIDENT CONCENTRATED IN OUR GREAT NATION NEEDS RIGHT NOW! AFRICA HAS TO GET RID OF THE BUNCH OF CORRUPTS THAT ARE RUNNING THAT GREAT CONTINENT. BUT THAT IS NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY, THE PEOPLE FROM AFRICA HAVE TO FIGHT FOR THEY FREEDOM AND JUSTICE, THE ALREADY RECEIVE AID, HELP THROUGH MANY ORGANIZATIONS, AND WHERE THE MAJORITY OF THAT HELP OR AID GOES? TO THE CORRUPT POLITICIANS. STOP WITH AFRICA BEING A VICTIM, THEY CAN FIGHT TOO THE SAME WAY WE FOUGHT IN THIS NATION TO BE A ‘REPUBLIC’ TAKING OUR OWN DECISIONS, WE ARE FIGHTERS, AND SEN RODHAM IS ‘A GREAT FIGHTER AND INSPIRATIONAL WOMAN’ AND YOU WANT TO END WITH HER POLITICAL CAREER, YOU DNC DO NOT DESERVE HER!

PUT THAT MAN SEN OBAMA, UNDER INVESTIGATION, AND BE FAIR WITH THE VOTERS. WITH ALL THOSE RECORDS IN CHICAGO AND ALL THE DISGUSTING THINGS THIS MAN SEEMS TO HAVE INVOLVED, AND THE DNC DOES NOT WANT TO INVESTIGATE, HOW I AM GOING TO VOTE FOR WHATEVER THE DNC TELLS ME TO VOTE AND SUPPORT, YOU ARE NOT A DICTATOR, JUST A PARTY WITH PUBLIC SERVANTS. THOSE 18 MILLIONS VOTERS ARE FOR SEN RODHAM, SHE WORKED HARD AND EARNED IT!

THE COMMITMENT FROM SEN RODHAM IS WITH ‘US’ THOSE 18 MILLIONS THAT VOTED FOR HER, NOT WITH THE DNC THAT HAS TREATED HER LIKE TRASH!

GO INDEPENDENT HILLARY, AND YOU CAN COUNT ON ME AND MY MONEY, NO WAY I CAN STAND THE DNC NOW, AFTER SEEING THE WAY THEY TREATED YOU AND US THOSE WHO FIERCELY HAVE SUPPORTED THE BEST CANDIDATE IN YEARS TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT, AND THE DNC WANTS FOR SOME WEIRD REASON A ‘DELINQUENT THAT I DO NOT KNOW HOW HE GOT INTO POLITICS’, THIS MAN, SEN OBAMA IS LIKE HAVING A TERRORIST IN DISGUISE WITH HIS SMOOTH PERSONALITY AND FRIENDLY SMILE TO PLAY HIS ROLE AS ‘THAT WILL BE THE WAY TO GAIN THEIR CONFIDENCE, ONCE WE HAVE “THAT” WE WILL GET THE POWER OF THE WHITE HOUSE’, AND THEN YOU-DNC- WILL SEE THAT YOU WERE THE ONES TO BLAME FOR ALLOWING A TERRORIST TAKING THE WHITE HOUSE, IN YOUR OWN FACE, ONLY ‘WITH WORDS AND SMILING’ AND GETTING ALONG WITH REP AND DEM. SORRY I AM NOT THAT BLIND AND STUPID YET.

DON’T DARE TO SEND ME ANYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH GIVING SUPPORT TO THAT ‘DELINQUENT’, FOR GOD SAKES THIS IS THE USA, NOT AFRICA, WERE ‘WHOEVER PEOPLE WITH MONEY’ CAN DECLARE THEMSELVES ‘KINGS’ OR ‘PRESIDENTS’. THIS PRIMARIES WERE BOUGHT AND MANIPULATED FOR THIS MAN AND HIS SUPPORTERS.

I WILL SUPPORT ONLY SEN RODHAM AS PRESIDENT, NOT VP EITHER. LET’S WAIT AND WE WILL SEE ALL THE DIRTY COMING OUT, THEN SEND ME A NEW INVITATION THIS TIME TO SUPPORT THE REAL NOMINEE, AND THAT IS SEN RODHAM!

THANKS

Hi Larry….thanks very much for your blog here.

I’m a democrat of 30 years. The 2000 election, the current economic state and the Iraq war remains the defining moments in my recent political life.

And I must admit that the democrats have shown little or no spine in any of the above. The only spine they have shown is that in pushing Hillary and the Clintons (remember peace and prosperity in the 90’s) down a flight of stairs?

Why? I can only surmise that they believe that they, as individuals and a group, will have much more power pulling the strings on a very inexperienced Obama from behind the scenes.

What does that now tell me about my party?

They are far more interested in their own political advancements than they are of solving this country’s problems.

With Hillary out, I am undecided for the fall election at this time…..but I am leaning McCain based on his long past record of standing up against his own party, when he felt he was right.

Why don’t you just vote for Bob Barr with the disruntled Republicans? At least Barr is against the war.
John Mc Cain has stopped rebelling against his party so that he could receive his party’s nomination, and now surrounds himself with the same group that has surrounded Bush.

Okay so,

I was an Obama supporter, but I have been visiting this site for a couple of days now and I think I am coming around. There are a few things that have helped me see the light.

1)The existence of the damning tape. It is so obvious that this is real and not some kind of “sore loser” smear campaign. The fact that nobody has actually seen the tape just adds to its magic and mysticism.

2) I have also been persuaded by all of the happy positive Hillary supporters I have met on these comment forums. You seem like a very positive bunch of folk who would rather tout the great qualities of Hillary (my new candidate) then spend all day making up terrible mean spirited things to say about that other guy (I won’t even say his name because he is so evil).

3)I am into the whole whining and crying over my losses scene. I think people who say “man Up” or “grow a set of balls” are mysogynists. I believe I have every right to weep and throw a tantrum and I even bet Hillary is behaving the same way right now. I think my new friends on this board do a great job at showing that you don’t have to be tough or logical to win a campaign. We will take this thing to the heart of America and then to the whitehouse based solely on emotion. Then who will have the last laugh Mr. Obama/Jerk?

4)I really like that guy in the upper right hand corner’s haircut. Whenever I visit this page I think “where would you get a haircut like that?”

5)Most of all though the think that has brought me to my senses is this awesome video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UefSpWGD19k

You know it is the “Hillary 4 You and Me” one. Man that ROX MY SOX! I ripped that thing to my ipod. I really believe it shows the true nature of Hillary supporters (of which I now consider myself). Anyone who says this video is Gay is definitely a homophobe or a racist or both and has probably never even been in a Gay club EVAH!

So come on new friends! Lets take the whitehouse back for anti-abortion-war mongering-private healthcare lobbyist supporting republicans.

And just to show you I am serious I came up with a clever name for Obama: Ostinka!

Ostinka is a big jerk!

I am a proud member of the PUMA Party. I do not know if I can ever go so far as to vote for a Republican but I do know that I cannot and will not vote for Obama. The Democratic Party I supported for over 40 years is no more. Perhaps it never was.

If you believe that Obama and the DNC as well as the Democratic Party Leadership with the overwhelming dishonesty of the media has gamed this primary from start to finish and then vote for Obama you are in effect saying that you will reward bad behavior.

Even the good Obama supporters, and I assume there must be a few here and there although I haven’t met any, should be appalled at what happened to MI and FL and most especially at the stealing of 4 Clinton delegates and giving them to Obama.

After all the talk of the “rulz” the Demcratic RBC “fulz” broke the rules right there on national teevee in front of God and everybody.(Of course your pinheaded media pundits are too stupid or too currupt or both to point that out to the public they are supporsed to inform.)

God help Democracy because the Democratic Party and the media sure as hell won’t.

Hey – I came up with the name as a joke on Riverdaughter’s blog that I was joining a new party called the PUMA party, and the brilliant Riverdaughter wrote this great post behind the idea. And it worked because it’s spreading!

It is

P arty

And now the Brilliant Murphy from the Corrente Building made it into a 527 PAC org!!

Officially it’s:

P eople
U nited
M eans
A ction

So it’s both.

Together with Corbett’s Operation Turndown, we have the PUMAs, we have Democrats for McCain, see, I can’t vote for McCain – but I won’t be cajoled to voting for the 0bambi.

I am mystified at the arrogance of the ObamBam crowd!

Do they really believe that those of us that are angered at the way we have been Ridiculed, Taunted, Bullied, Spit on, Shit on, Harrassed, Ignored, Dismissed and Tossed aside by not only The DNC but by those Infantile Trolls that serve the Cult of Obama, will all come together and make nice?

The arrogance of this is stunning! The wounds are deep! The scars will never heal with some. The damage is done!

I had hoped that there was some way that “something” would derail this so-called movement. I had hoped that the party would come to their senses. I was wrong.
I know that some “TROLLS” will say I am bitter. No I am beyond bitter. I am angry!
I am angry that I have to step aside so that the powers that be can attempt to wipe away whatever guilt they have and RAM this Idiot down our Throats!
I am angry that I have to hear his code words about, “This Being Our Time”. I was not borne yesterday. I know what he means when he says that. This is affirmative action run amoke!
Call me racist all you want. I know what I am and a racist i am not. A realist I am. I fear we will “ALL” regret this day.
Obama and his crowd have set out to use his race from the very begining and now we are seeing the fruits of his labour. Either you vote for him or you are tarred with the label of being a bigot!

If his crowd believes we will all come together this November, they are fatally mistaken.

I penned a little ditty that sums it all up for me:

I’ve been cheated
Been mistreated
When will I be loved

I’ve been pushed down
I’ve been pushed ’round
When will I be loved

When I find a new man
That I want for mine
He always breaks my heart into
It happens every time

I’ve been made blue
I’ve been lied to
When will I be loved

When I find a new man
That I want for mine
He always breaks my heart into
It happens every time

Oh, I’ve been cheated
Been mistreated
When will I be loved
When will I be loved

I just finished another one…. I tried to imagine how a certain someone feels right now.

I’ve been alone too long
Sitting by myself
I’m getting to old
To help myself

But I won’t be hangin round your door
Begging
No I won’t be hangin round
To feel the pain
And if you take my life in hand
And finally make me understand
It won’t do no good
You’ll just hurt my plan

And I won’t be hangin round your door
Begging
No I won’t be hangin rond
To feel the pain

Sometimes I think I can’t go on
And every day I live
Well it seems like my life’s unreal
Sometimes I think I won’t live too long
But I hope I’m wrong
That’s the way I feel

And I won’t be hangin round your door
Begging
No I won’t be hangin round
To steal a kiss
I won’t be hanging round your door
Begging
No i won’t be hangin round
To feel the pain
No I won’t be hangin round your door
Begging
Oh I won’t be hangin round
To feel the pain

I have really had it with the Obamabots. I turn on Air America this morning (because there isn’t much else in terms of talk radio here) and the show’s host and callers are lecturing “these women” who voted for Hillary about how a.) if you don’t vote for Obama, you’ll lose your reproductive rights and b.) if McCain wins, your children will be drafted into war. I am sick of the threats and blackmail, and the fact that the threats are directed solely at “women” — as if only women or a certain subset of women are the only people who could conceivably feel this way — only makes it that much more disgusting. Plus, I think they are starting to believe in their own creation: this cartoon image of McCain that is increasingly distant from how most people see him.

I’d be more inclined to write-in or vote third party on principle, but if the purpose is to teach these wayward “progressives” a lesson and make sure Obama loses, and prevent such an inexperienced and unqualified candidate out of the White House, then voting for McCain would be the most direct way. I’m still not sure, but I’m leaning heavily in that direction. McCain would be smart to tack to the center and promise to tackle climate change, have a smart energy policy and appoint neutral O’Connor-like justices.

Comment by Kickass Old Lady | 2008-06-05 07:59:02

I just laugh when told a vote for McCain will endanger womans’ reproductive rights. Let all the unapreciative young women learn to go out and organize to win them back.

Comment by bert | 2008-06-05 08:22:59

Right on, Kickass Old Lady. I am 62 and my reproductive days are over. If Roe gets over turned it won’t affect me any lomnger. let those young kids go out and fight for it like I had to. That tired old line is not going to scare me into voting for the most inexperienced candidate ever.

Comment by american sawbuck | 2008-06-05 08:40:12

Ditto i am a 66 year old and who cares anymore…..nothing scares me at this age……I will vote republican….

Comment by Lizzie | 2008-06-05 09:38:26

I agree with you ladies, although I am 26 years old, if R v. W gets overturned, too bad. My mom (about your age) had to fight the good fight, while many of my friends sit on their laurels, explaining how they don’t believe in abortion but yes, they go to Planned Parenthood to get their birth control pills. The scare tactics are empty…I’m voting McCain all the way.

Comment by Concerned | 2008-06-05 09:46:48

Excuse me,

I don’t mind if you vote for McCain… but this is the most self-centered thing I’ve ever heard. What if your parents had told you, “Sorry, I’m old, doesn’t affect me anymore, you’ll have to go re-fight WW2 again”, hmm? Are you really so calloused that you’d want your daughters, and their daughters to have to live through a second age of backalley coathanger abortions?

Is this really what it’s come to?

Comment by ulahane | 2008-06-05 09:56:12

The simple fact is that Roe V. Wade will NOT be overturned under McCain. Congress will not approve any Supreme Court appointment that favors overturning it.

Comment by Concerned | 2008-06-05 10:18:47

So long as Congress remains Democratic, yes. But I’m not about to start making predictions for how Congress is going to look after the 2010 elections, and I’d prefer not to even set up the possibility of that situation.

However, that’s not the point. I posted because I am quite frankly shocked that anyone could so openly claim their willingness to condemn the next several generations of women out of spite.

You are right about one thing, though; the voting in this primary was largely Old vs Young, but do you know what? It happens. Every few decades, in fact. You did it to your parents and grandparents, as you voted in candidates that reflected your worldview, and now your children and grandchildren are doing it to you. Just as my children and grandchildren will eventually do.

This entire primary, I’ve had Bob Dylan stuck in my head.

“Oh the times, they are a-changin’”

(We’ll gloss over the fact that my generation lacks a good Dylan analogue. It’s incredibly sad. ;) )

Comment by tinat | 2008-06-06 18:18:44

Oh really, congress won’t approve?
Do you know how many conservative anti abortion democrats are in the Senate? Quite a few and more on the way in 2008

What you should really worry about though is McCains stance on equal pay for women, he doesn’t believe in it, he voted against it.
So go tell your daughters you voted for a man who thinks they are worth less then a man because you didn’t get your way..yeah, that’ll teach the DNC

screw ‘em. don’t need roe any more and everyone i know is too old to be drafted. we worked for civil rights and women’s rights and the end to the draft. if they screw it up, they can fix it.

will be voting mccain. just staying home or voting nader or whoever makes a statement, but voting mccain raises the number obambi needs to steal. if the number is high enough, he won’t be able to get away with stealing it.

This sense of resentment towards the next generation really saddens me. It’s our job to fight to make sure the next generation doesn’t go through the same hardships that we did. It would be irresponsible of us to make them fight the same issues we had to fight.

Hm, I’m an American living abroad and I’m oddly fascinated with the cut off your nose to spite your face attitude displayed here.

Roe v. Wade, Gay Marriage and other liberal causes are larger than just candidates and that’s why we try to vote on issues.

To say that you don’t care if young women have the rights you fought for is incredibly short sighted. We’re progressives and how are we supposed to make any progress if we’re constantly refighting old battles? Universal health care is what we should be fighting for next not trying to regain ground that we managed 30 years ago.

Admittedly I’ve got a little distance from all of this from living abroad so I’m not as emotionally connected to the primary process but when people from No Quarter talk about how rude Obama supporters were by calling them Obamabots or some other not so clever nickname it makes me cringe.

I’d ask anyone here that speaks with so much vitriol about Obama that they’d not vote for him, or forehead slappingly, McCain, spend a week away from the computer and the media surrounding all of this and gain a little perspective. Obama is a good candidate with decent experience and an okay human being. Is he perfect? Absolutely not. Will he make a good president? Yes, most likely.

Comment by so saddened | 2008-06-05 14:45:58

we’re not making them, asshole. it’s their choice. if they support obambi, they made that choice. we’re not going to elect a fascist out of a trumped up claim that not doing so will undo roe. 1) it won’t; and 2) if you don’t want to risk it, don’t nominate obambi, the unelectable.

You would actually vote for John McCain??? You people have gone completely over the edge. Sit back. Take a few deep breaths. And keep in mind that a lot of Republicans—for wildly divergent reasons—don’t even want McCain in the White House. Unbelievable. You think Hillary wants McCain in the White House? Think, people. Think back to before you decided Obama was the biggest threat to . . . whatever. Think about the two parties’ platforms, views, ideals. McCain is the default candidate from a weak and crazy field of Republicans. You can’t possibly be serious.

Comment by ulahane | 2008-06-05 07:41:40

This should terrify you Obama zealots. We are, for the most part, long term Democrats and we consider Obama and his associates unacceptable. And though we here aren’t too many, we are representative of many, many more Democrats.

You must think us completely ignorant of politics. The reasons some Republicans are hesitant about McCain are the reasons that we find him semi-tolerable. Don’t forget, just four years ago, John Kerry asked him to run as his vice-president.

Comment by TheViking | 2008-06-05 07:42:14

I’ve written a song that best sums up my feelings about things. I thought all of you might enjoy reading the lyrics:

This eagle’s place is in the sky.
She’s still got a lot of flying to do.
You can see it in her eye,
Though she’s cried a bit
For what we’ve put her though.

She’s soared above the lifted lamp
That guards sweet freedom’s door.
In the dews, the damps, the watchfires
Of a nation torn by war.

Oh, she’s far too young to die
You can see it in her eye
She’s not yet begun to fly.
It’s time to let the mighty eagle soar once more.

Let the eagle soar,
Like she’s never soared before.
From rocky coast to golden shore,
Let the mighty eagle soar.
Soar with healing in her wings,
As the land beneath her sings:
‘Only God, no other kings.’
Let the mighty eagle soar.

This country’s far too young to die.
We’ve still got a lot of climbing to do,
And we, we can make it if we try.
Built by toils and struggles
God has led us through.

We’ve fought for freedom dear
both here and on the distant shore
Paid a price a sacrifice
A price you can’t ignore
Oh, we’re far too young to die
We can make it if we try
We’ve not yet begun to fly.
It’s time to let the mighty eagle soar once more.

Let the eagle soar,
Like she’s never soared before.
From rocky coast to golden shore,
Let the mighty eagle soar.
Soar with healing in her wings,
As the land beneath her sings:
‘Only God, no other kings.’
Let the mighty eagle soar.

Let the eagle soar,
Like she’s never soared before.
From rocky coast to golden shore,
Let the mighty eagle soar.
Soar with healing in her wings,
As the land beneath her sings:
‘Only God, no other kings.’
Let the mighty eagle soar.

‘Only God, no other kings.’
Let the mighty eagle soar.

If I act a little strange
For I know not what I do.
Feels like lightning running through my veins
Everytime I look at you
Everytime I look at you
Help me out here
All my words are falling short
And there’s so much I want to say
Want to tell you just how good it feels
When you look at me that way
When you look at me that way
Throw a stone and watch the ripples flow
Moving out across the bay
Like a stone I fall into your eyes
Deep into some mystery
Deep into that mystery
I got half a mind to scream out loud
I got half a mind to die
So I won’t ever have to lose you girl
Won’t ever have to say goodbye
I won’t ever have to lie
Won’t ever have to say goodbye
Yeah na na na na
Yeah na na na na
Please forgive me
If I act alittle strange
For I know not what I do
It’s like my head is filled with lightning girl
Everytime I look at you
Everytime I look at you
Everytime I look at you
Everytime I look at you

Here we go….Trolls gone wild again.

I realize ALL politicians have flaws. I realize that ALL politicians will do and say anything to get elected. I support my candidate with both eyes open.
What “WE” are angry about, isnt the fact that he won…th efix was in after Iowa, what sticks in the craw of most of us is the fact that there was no “VETTING” of your “Savior”. Do the Math. After the shit about Rev. Wright, Rezco, Pfleger, he only won 2 out of the last 7 Primarys. He had to be helped across the finish line by so called “Super Delegates”!
He would “NEVER” have made it past Iowa had the media done it’s job! Now I know you will say, “Hillary has Baggage”! Sure she did, but he baggage IS known! You still don’t know all there is to know about Barky! Shit, you can’t even give me a single thing he has done since coming to the Senate that is of worth! He sure didnt do a damn thing here in Illinois!
So please…take your snarky ass, infantile remarks to a place where someone gives a damn….We sure as hell don’t! No one here has drank the Kool-Aid and we sure as hell KNOW who Barack Obama is!
Good luck In Novemeber…you sure as shit will need it. It’s a general election not a primary!

I would say a porportionate system of electing nominees is very affirmative action. Either you win or you don’t. There is no getting a share of the prize if you loose. The general election won’t be that way, when he comes up short in these “white” states (which is a majority of the states and electorial districts), he won’t win a certain portion of the electorate, he won’t get anything.

Comment by WestPalm4Hillary | 2008-06-05 07:42:19

And most important of all, do you know what it means for healthcare?

Yes, we had a bitter primary season, but do not forget why you are a democrat and not a republican. Hilary Clinton is a great woman and I am proud that is a leader in my party. Vote for Obama, if not, enable Mcain and be happy that you’ll get more the last right years.

“Do you know what it’ll mean for minority rights?” see above.

“Do you know what it’ll mean for our prestige around the world?” We should shoot ourselves in the foot so that other countries will like us better?????

“And most important of all, do you know what it means for healthcare?” Nothing – Democratic Congress.

So stupid, not even worth reading, since they follow a basic template put together by people who have no unique or individual talent.

Bad writers, bad triggers, the whole thing useless.

Tell your bosses they need to reassess, and hire new talent.

The contestants on American Idol “sing,” (barely) but they’re not musicians.

Do you understand?

It’s like a any ordinary community, you have Mozarts, and Salieris, the Salieris desperately want to think they’re Mozart, not understanding why they aren’t, and someone else knowing the difference, and making a profit.

You are a tagger, and, well, like most taggers, and eyesores, easily ignored.

And despite the carpet, the real talent moves on, just like it always has, because it simply has nothing in common with the lessers. Either that, or it learns to manipulate the far less intelligent Salieris.

Do you understand?

You never will.

The President of BET Entertainment was on Fox this morning talking about how the Congressional Black Caucus is trying to talk Obama into making Hillary his VP, because Obama needs her votes to win. Really? During the campaign La Brazile told us that they could win without our votes. Maybe a bit of reality juice got mixed in with the KoolAid last night.

“If McCain wins, you’ll be drafted into war…”

This isn’t going to win me any friends among so-called “progressives,” here or elsewhere, but let me tell you something. There should be a draft in this country. We should call it “national service.” The problem for “progressives” AND “conservatives” in my view is that they are ready with a shout out of “support for the troops,” when it’s politically expedient; but they don’t know a damn thing about the “troops.” I do. I grew up in a military family, served in the military, and am the spouse of military, who also comes from a military family. We have served in every war since the Civil War in my family. We have lost the comprehension in this country of what it means to serve in war; and that is what makes it so easy to send our sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, siblings and relatives to war. When everyone is forced to serve–there will be FAR less military adventurism in this country.

Oh, yes. It is a thing devoutly to be wished–a DRAFT. So, please continue to use that argument about John McCain. I will vote for him in a heartbeat if he institutes a draft.

Sorry Uppity for the outburst. I am so so tired of these people telling me that Obama is great! i am so tired of the Lemmings coming here with their bullpoop and disrupting our conversations. They have no clue as to who this man is and is not.
They threaten us with McCain and the end of the world if we don;t fall in line. They threaten women with the abortion issue to try to get them to “switch”. This is the Unity that was promised? I want no part of it.
We don’t go to there cave and bother them. we don’t follow and ridicule them. little wonder why we are angry. ” YES WE CAN”!, yes we can destroy the Dem party should have been their mantra!
Again… I am sorry for the lingo Larry and Susan….I am just fed up with this “Unity” schtick of theirs.

From Hillary: On Saturday, I will extend my congratulations to Senator Obama and my support for his candidacy. This has been a long and hard-fought campaign, but as I have always said, my differences with Senator Obama are small compared to the differences we have with Senator McCain and the Republicans.

I have said throughout the campaign that I would strongly support Senator Obama if he were the Democratic Party’s nominee, and I intend to deliver on that promise.

I hope those on this site who really are democrats will join Hillary in supporting the Democratic nominee for President.

Comment by ulahane | 2008-06-05 08:06:53

Lone Star is a lousey beer. McCain is the better president when compared to Obama.

Comment by so saddened | 2008-06-05 12:30:11

i share lone star’s state, and wish it were not so. but as a true democrat, i.e., one who believes in democracy, not one who cleaves blindly to a party label that has become antithetical to its name, i recognize that lone star is entitled to speak his/her piece and vote his/her choice.

oh, what a lovely country we would have if that were still the case for all of us. (of course, we can go to the polls and push the buttons, but our choices may be changed to reflect the “will of the people” based on exit polls or whatever, or cut in half…)

anyway, poor lone star has the delusion that a vote for obambi has any meaning in texas. obamanuts don’t understand the concept of a red state that won’t go blue. and sure as hell won’t go blue with a fascist on the top of the ticket.

i’ll be voting mccain, even though it’s only symbolic as he’ll carry texas bigtime even if i don’t. but i think even those of us in solid red or solid blue states need to do so to run up the popular vote count and send a loud message to what i now call the autocratic party.

I already gave my first donation to McCain today. The majority of Hillary’s campaign staff and volunteers here in Texas are going for McCain. These are LONG time party activists, who have run elections and worked their asses off for years. They are PISSED that the DNC would even consider this fraud and sham as POTUS.

Time to revolt. It will be resounding, trust me.

“Do you know what a Mcain presidency would mean for women’s rights”

What a joke you just said right there. Obama, the DNC, and his supporters have already set women back 30 years thanks to their treatment of Hillary.

As a woman, the WORST thing to me has already happened, that is, the best female candidate for president who would have won has been shafted by an arrogant, corrupt bastard.

And then to be lectured by the likes of you.

I don’t think McCain is a bad Republican. He actually has Global Warming as an issue on his own website. I’ll be OK with a Republican who wants to help the environment, even if he’s just moderate about it. The environment is much more important to me than your vague threats over “minority rights” and other stuff that presidents don’t really have anything to do with.

Comment by s. hall | 2008-06-05 12:54:19

Hillary or Bust — Hilalry wasn’t just shafted by this arrogant fool she was also shafted by the media and the DNC who said they would not allow her to make a decision past tomorrow they were going to shut her down. I can never call myself a Dem again.

Comment by LVII | 2008-06-05 15:48:55

IT was not Obama or the DNC that shafted Hillary, she did it to herself.

Where was her plan after ‘Super Tuesday’?

How did she allow her so called advisers to misguide her so?
How did they manage to blow their warchest of dollars so foolishly?
How did she manage to misjudged the zeitgiest of the nation?

She is formidable who got her tactics wrong, nobody ’stole’ this from her. She gambled and she lost. I dig her and if she were to run again, she knows her has a massive audience ready.

I still havn’t decided myself but like he, I too am a Military Man and I believe he has the best interest of the country at heart. What I find curious is how Kerry will try to spin out of the fact that he asked McCain to be his VP, now that he is so Pro OBlama.

3. His inexperience

4. His mysogyny

5. His inability to distinguish himself in any way in 25 years except by having friends like Ayers, Rezko, Auchi, Wright, etc.

6. His wife

7. The way the media shoved this man down my throat to get the nomination

8. His use of the race card

9. His verbal abuse of Bill Clinton

Which is why he will definately get the Hispanic vote. So your crap about minority right is just that, crap. Do some reasearch.

You will have to excuse me, but in the name of reality, I’m not going to accept the Obama is inevitable meme.

He has not won, and I have no intention of feeding the meme.

And secondly, to buy into that crap is to buy into a false picture, no matter WHO are you, and to make decisions on the basis, and at the level, of an A (or in Obama’s case, a D list lobbyist), as opposed to a superior thinker.

It’s crap, and no.

This is how they’re losing the wars, the economies, their businesses, and all the oil, this method of Washington corporate thinking, mediocre thinking exemplified by the wannabes, and really, well, if you buy into this, the country falls, doesn’t it?

We have a Washington FULL of Rezko’s and Obama’s, and we need to face it, and get rid of them, once and for all.

WE all agree there are problems, and rather than really look at the problems, namely Corrupt Washington forcing third rate candidates on us, we co opt an attitude of “well, McCain is the lesser evil” or “what does it matter, the whole thing keeps chugging.”

And it doesn’t.

Again, sorry to sound like a broken record, but we all see how the trolls think, and well, they’re dumb.

And dumb can’t run a war, or an economy, republican, or democratic.

Mostly, DUMB can’t sustain a superpower. Can we agree?

Time to get real.

Now, for some coffee…

I have decided to suspend my Democratic party interest. I make this announcement with a great degree of hope for the future of this nation and this party.

I woke up today not giving a rat’s a^^ about how stupid and willful it intends to be. Instead, I am baking cookies for my 3 year old niece who — at her age is entitled to be willful and immature. I am cleaning my house, donating old clothing to a battered woman shelter and a stack of the local newspapers to the dog shelter so that the dogs can pee and poop on all of the “she should drop out” editorials that the bully boys have published for the past six months. I am pulling the last few pesky weeds out of my back yard and putting in the remaining plants that I bought and will make plans to enjoy the outdoors and STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM MSNBC, CNN, and NBC. ABC is on my last good nerve and I am about three minutes away from giving them the heave hoe as well. I am going to change my MySpace page and warn anyone who visits NOT TO MENTION POLITICS to me until after November, unless of course Barak Obama drops out.

NoQuarter will still be my only source of news for all things political, but I am not reading posts from anyone whose screen name I don’t recognize since I cannot be bothered reading troll nonsense and won’t risk it on posts by people I don’t know.

My stimulous check arrives today or tomorrow — I got notice from the IRS — and half is going to Hillary and the other half to John McCain to run ads against Obama.

I suggest that all of you find something positive to do. It is going to take all of our strength to keep this country from going to the special interest groups represented by the Obama bundlers. Not a good thought imho.

America 2008.

Comment by WMCB | 2008-06-05 08:50:20

When they say “McCain is bad on minority rights”, what they mean is “He treats all minorities with respect, and the same, and does not kowtow and genuflect enough to the AA powerbrokers.”

Their definition of “bad on minority rights” has nothing to do with McCain’s actual record. It has to do with his refusal to join the white guilt genuflecting to AA leaders bandwagon that keeps the Rev. Wrights of the world in their 10 million dollar homes.

Even NY Congressman Charlie Rangel was supporting a return to the draft with virtually no exemptions, as the best way to mobilize the public to get the hell out of Iraq. After the Vietnam War, the politicians maintained draft registration (in case of emergency), but ended conscription because they saw that conscription gave many folks who were not enamored of our entanglement a real stake in trying to end it. The argument was made that a professional all volunteer military would be more economical better trained, better disciplined, and more effective, and that argument has merit, but the position that a military largely made up of conscripts can provoke virulent (and highly contagious) opposition (in a society that has some safeguards for expressing political opposition)to some military adventures is also correct. Once the protesting youth got their parents on board against the Vietnam War, then the war had to end. The prospect of being sent to fight and die (against your will) in a war that you do not understand or support can be a terrific motivation tool to get the youth into the streets for protest. When its just the “volunteers” fighting and dying, its more like “fetch me another bag of Cheetos”.

I’ve said for awhile now that I was Independent rather than Democrat. I got mad back when Dean was on the circuit calling for Hillary to quit. It makes me laugh now to see that she has the popular vote win. He was so smug about the entire situation until the DNC was flooded with calls and e-mails. Then his tune changed.

The articles today are still so terribly rude in tone. I’m not convinced that Hillary even wants the VP position, but you’d think she’s demanding it from the editorials. I highly doubt that’s the case. What I do know is that the pundits continue to underestimate his electability problem. They seem to think some kind of general academic discussion of racism actually means squat. The fact that Obama has angered groups just hasn’t dawned on them yet.

Oh well….passing the popcorn to fellow Pumas.

With you there! No need to give up!

Hillary WILL BE OUR NEXT PRESIDENT!

OT troll food:

Obamatons: Hillary is still very much in the race! We have until August 25 to actually select a nominee. We are now in the second half of the campaign. In case you did not notice on Saturday Hillary will only be suspending her campaign. By doing this she keeps her delegates and can still seek the nomination and we will help her get the nomination.

Now that your pals in the MSM have anointed Obama the nominee you won’t have them bashing Hillary any longer. And already the MSM is turning on Obama as we warned you. You won’t be able to bash Hillary as she supports Obama for party unity. Hillary will support party unity because she will have to fix this disaster you and Obama have created. Sorry Obamatons you will have to fight your battle on three fronts:

1. Keeping your supporters from jumping ship.

2. Fighting the GOP.

3. Fighting us Hillary supporters without bashing Hillary since she supports Obama (for now) for party unity. We still see Hillary taking the nomination no matter how hard you click your ruby slippers that we just go away.

Sorry but we won’t be going anywhere. Obama limped over the voting portion of the finish line. Hillary charged over by winning the popular vote. There is no nominee until August 25.

In the end the DNC will be begging the Clinton’s to save the party and Hillary will be our next president. I hope the Clinton’s take a long vacation sipping pina coladas on the beach while they laugh there asses off while Obama and your trolls spin your wheels for the next 2 months.

Hillary ‘08 + ‘12!

FROM THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN…I beleieve honesty is the best policy folks so here goes. I voted for Bush, I still like him, and I was going to vote for McCain until I say what was happening. While watching the Democratic primary I have to tell you that I gained enormous respect for Hillary. I has always thought she was to hard, but during the campaign I saw someone who truly loves this country & wants to help the American people. I could not believe how she was shafted. From the start the media was on Obama’s side. It makes me sick to see how she was treated. The DNC and the media made it impossible for her to get a fair shot. Bill Clinton was right, I have never seen a candidate treated the way that Hillary has been treated. The names she and her supporters have been called and are still being called is disgusting. After all that is known and still remains unknown about Obama the nomination is being handed to him on a silver platter. What really scares me is that after all the radical stuff that has come out about him and his wife I am dumfounded that anyone still supports him. What is going on in America. Have you watched the YOUTUBE video..OBAMA TO DISARM THE MILITARY…this man is not fit to be commander in chief of our military. I don’t care if McCain or Hillary get prez, but Obama CANNOT. It isn’t a matter of what party we as Americans belong to anymore, we have to do what is best for this country. I heard on Fox this morning that Robert Knovak was told by a top Democrat that he would sleep better if McCain is elected…my question is than what the hell are all these DNC leaders doing by voting for Obama and forcing Hillary to support him. I know from reading other blogs that we all want the same things and feel the same way…our GUTT tells us something is not right about Obama. I am working as hard as I can to get people to get Hillary or McCain elected. I hope all of you will also. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

one really big difference between clinton and obama is that obama steals votes and has been stealing votes and sabotaging the democratic process for his own personal gain his whole political life…

no american can support Obama’s shameful vote stealing…

green, black, orange, white, democrat, republican, independent – we are all united behind the principles of democracy

adios Obama

Dream on Sleepy. I am sure you believe that. The problem with your argument is that as an Edwards supporter, I find it hard to believe you have ever supported “HILLARY”. You may have supported her “HUSBAND”, but i find it hard to believe you ever supported her. I may be wrong. If I am, I’m sorry. but I have spoked to many Hillary supporters, maybe not as many as I would like to swing the election, but enough in my district to defeat any candidate that supports Obama! If that is what we have to do than so be it!

Comment by Big Tex | 2008-06-05 08:49:06

“Democrats for McCain”? There is no such thing as a Democrat who supports McCain. If you vote for McCain, you’re voting for George Bush’s war in Iraq. You’re voting for George Bush’s tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy. You’re voting for anti-choice, anti-gay rights Supreme Court justices. You’re voting for privatized Social Security. You’re voting for legalized torture, against habeas corpus and against the rule of law. You’re voting against equal respect and dignity under the law for gays and lesbians. You’re voting against the interests of organized labor. And you’re voting against 95% of what Hillary Clinton stood for during her campaign.

Call yourselves whatever you want, but if you think McCain would be a better president than Barack Obama, you’re a liar if you call yourself a Democrat. Real Democrats support candidates who uphold the values of the Democratic Party. They don’t vote for Republicans because their tender feelings got hurt.

P.S. You didn’t get robbed of a damn thing. Barack Obama is the choice of a majority of Democratic voters, and Hillary didn’t win the popular vote – not unless you include Michigan’s non-sanctioned, all-white exhibition vote.

Comment by Mel | 2008-06-05 09:03:41

A vote for Obama is a vote for communism, no thanks, already seen how Obama works in the Primary, no way he and his thugs will EVER be in the White House!

That is Democracy!

Comment by Big Tex | 2008-06-05 13:22:14

If you think that Obama is a communist, then you’re not intellectually fit enough to be trusted with a vote. The more I hear from people like you, the more I’m convinced that the vast majority of you Obama haters have absolutely no clue about the policy stances of any of the candidates, much less Obama. You’re all just frightened out of your tiny little minds about the idea of a black man having a position of authority over this country. Don’t worry, if Obama gets elected, armies of black men aren’t going to invade your lily-white neighborhoods and start raping your wives and daughters.

Big Tex hated his now dead mother, yet writes about her in platitudes. When it serves his purpose!

He suffers from the Obama syndrome of love/hate for his mother which makes him cling to men and denigrate women such as Hillary Clinton.

He cannot stand the thoughts of a woman having control over any aspect of his life, especially his emotions, as his mother did.

Quote from Big Tex re his mother: ” She was a tough bitch when she needed to be, but never towards anyone who didn’t deserve it.”

Yet he just calls Hillary Clinton a bitch, and claims Hillary deserves denigration!

Sad, Sad. Hamlet/Obama/Big Tex, all confused mother haters!

Big Tex’s psychological problem re women is prevalent among Obama minions, and drives their male savior psychosis.

Comment by Big Tex | 2008-06-05 14:05:49

Since you’ve decided to yank things out of context from my blog that have nothing to do with presidential politics and twist them to suit your demented purposes, allow me to educate your clueless ass about a few things. First of all, I never called Hillary Clinton a bitch – you’re a fucking liar. That said, Hillary does deserve denigration, just like you and the rest of the Hillary Harpies, because you’re all a bunch of lying, hateful, racist assholes. As for my late mother, you don’t know jack shit about her or about the relationship I had with her. You’re just bringing her into this because, like your candidate, you can’t win an argument of any kind without wallowing in dogshit. You’re too much of a coward to address the substance of what I said, so instead you drag my dead mother, who isn’t here to speak for herself, into the conversation so you can say a bunch of inflammatory shit about her. What a lowlife.

Wanna vote for McCain? Go ahead. Every one of you who does will be replaced by the vote of an independent or moderate Republican who loves their country more than they hate black people. Most of Hillary’s supporters are smart enough to know that they’re better off voting for Obama; the handful of people who don’t, like you, are nothing but a bunch of bitter, deranged sociopaths, and we’ll win without you.

When they say “McCain is bad on minority rights”, what they mean is “He treats all minorities with respect, and the same, and does not kowtow and genuflect enough to the AA powerbrokers.” Rev Wrights of the world

Their definition of “bad on minority rights” has nothing to do with McCain’s actual record. It has to do with his refusal to join the white guilt genuflecting to AA leaders bandwagon that keeps the Rev. Wrights of the world in their 10 million dollar homes.

I think in the next five months, most of you will calm down and reflect a bit on how exaggerated and fabricated this resentment towards Obama is and rediscover your political values. The main thing is to start looking at this as political and stop taking it all so personally. You feel kicked in the gutter and ignored and neglected and abused, but as the weeks pass you’ll see all that happened is a lot of people got excited about a different candidate, and one who is not the monster your resentment has led you to construct out of vapors and rumors. Moreover, most of the insults and spite from Obama supporters is inspired not by your support for another candidate, but against your own name calling, insults, and hate mongering.

I know, I know. Obamamot! Hater! Troll! That’s what you say today. I think the lot of you need to take a deep breath, walk away from this little hate-o-sphere and Larry’s psyops, do things that make you happy, and let the hate subside. Then come back with a newfound sense of purpose that’s based on your political values, not on hate and resentment.

Comment by AnninCa | 2008-06-05 09:07:54

Unfortunately, that’s just BS. I was one of the few Hillary supporters on Huffpo for months. I never resorted to name-calling and avoided snark replies as much as humanly possible.

Daily I was called names. Daily I was treated to insults that took my breath away at first. (I did, indeed, learn to not take it personally.)

No, there is a distinct attitude from Obama supporters that is why they like Obama’s elitism. Elitism is nothing more than arrogance. That’s just a nice way to say that someone’s ego is running the show.

The attitude has been and remains that the Obama camp can get along fine without the working class, the old white women, the elderly who just won’t get with the change, man, those racist Latinos….and the list goes on.

OK, we heard them.

This isn’t just about disappointment. It’s about the direction and attitude of the new Democratic Party.

Change always means that some groups are going to be shifted out of being relevant.

We’re the irrelevant Democrats now.

We still can’t get anyone to acknowledge the sexism. That’s called whining. OK, but then don’t be surprised when we don’t vote for Obama. Ignore it, fine. But don’t ask for our vote.

We still can’t get anyone to acknowledge that the Democratic Party leaders railroaded this primary because of their own petty need for power and fear of the Clintons. OK, but then don’t ask Clinton Democrats to give you money for a DNC convention.

We still can’t get anyone to acknowledge that the best candidate who won in the hard primaries is being talked about like she’s a pest. She beat him in the popular vote. She beat him in every major state. She built a much broader coalition. No, we’re told to admire his gaming of the caucus system as though that’s clever. OK, but don’t expect us to actually agree that he’s the best candidate or vote for him. The guy gamed the system.

There will be a lot of justification and rationalization of this travesty. I don’t expect anyone to acknowledge what is obvious. It would be too self-aware and too anti-Democratic to do so.

In the meantime, the Democratic Party, I’m sure, just lost their base.

Good luck winning with AA’s and the college kids.

NO ONE GIVES A FUCK about your cries for unity except for the Obamabots. First of all, anger is NOT a bad thing in and of itself. Anger often leads to action that is for the betterment of everyone. How many happy oblivious people go out to protest something? They don’t, they sit at home content and lazy. How many angry people change the system? Take a guess.

Don’t dismiss righteous anger with “venom.” Here’s some venom by the way: fuck you. Fuck you with your demands to calm down. Do you support misogny, race baiting and vote stealing? Well if so, you are a true Democrat. Good luck with your ideals. As for me? I prefer to think of myself as a true American, equal rights and fair representation for all.

Remember that the vast majority of Democrats voted for Gore, too, but enough voted for Bush to allow that election to be stolen. Much as the party hacks like to blame Nader, it was Florida DEMOCRATS that cost us a Gore presidency. Once again, team Obama thinks that I OWE the party my vote (and I’m not even a Democrat). Hubris is a dangerous thing. My vote isn’t OWED to anyone, and he would do well to remember that.

Being dismissive of entire classes of people, and saying they don’t need us to win is NOT the way to go. I’ve done my own research on Obama, and I DON’T like what I see. He has not earned my vote. You have certainly “known” him a long time haven’t you?

He is ephemeral, he is a mirage. You are in love with an Image!

We support HRC because we know who she is, what she desires to actually accomplish, and because she is “not perfect”.

We know she is human, has flaws, yet we still know she is best to be President. She is like us, we too have flaws. Yet, we work for what we get, don’t ask for hand-outs, and we get the job done.

Hey, I am not afraid of the Draft or Roe V. Wade arguement. Why, cause I am one of those old bitter women. Ok, I am not that but old enough to have worked on the Dukakis campaign and never again will I get sucked in to work for somebody I think is that incompetent. Obama is more incompetent and corrupt. I was a big giver to the democrats, not anymore. Hey let these young obamabots give to all the congressional campaign committees and the DNC. Oh that’s right, they don’t have anymoney cause they are spending it all on ipods, iphones, etc. Guess the DNC won’t miss all that money from us bitter old women with disposable incomes. The Obama people and campaign are making some big mistakes by attacking Hillary and her people won’t inspire me to unify, it just makes me more pissed off. (Lest the Obamabots thinks I am a complete racist-I gave money for Senator Obama’s US Senate race and a small of money for him when he declared because I was a good democrat and supported candidates all over the country-then I found out more about him-I am not giving anymore money) So all these young people might find out what it really is like to live without privilege.

Exagerated? Bitter, clingy, gun-toting, ignorant racist white person? That’s fabricated?

No, this is about a primary gone very, very bad. Republican-style sliming against a very good, highly qualified woman from her own.

We (my husband and I), just had some doubts about him back in January, but now…oh, we can’t stand the nasty, back-biting, hysterically hypocritical coward. Not. At. All.

My political values are this…I’m an old Democrat, and the liberal elitist isn’t going to get my vote. Not now, not ever. Why would I ever want to vote against my best interests? Meaning, vote for some whiny, arrogant elitist, who’s been obvious in his disdain for my unpapered, working class white self?

‘Sides, him and ol’ Donna don’t want us, so we’ll just take our two lil’ ol’ votes elsewhere.

Yup, us hicks is Dems for McCain!

Comment by JB | 2008-06-05 09:12:41

Moreover, most of the insults and spite from Obama supporters is inspired not by your support for another candidate, but against your own name calling, insults, and hate mongering.

Hillary supporters must ask themselves: why do Obamatrons hate you?

If your bf or husband smacks you around, what did you do to deserve it?

They’re just excited about a “different” kind of candidate.

See, they’re strung out on hopium. And you can’t be so cruel to a junkie as to hold him responsible for his actions.

If Obama did not get the nomination the blacks would of been saying they will not vote, it sure is strange that they now feel all of us are dumb and stupid so we should just run to the polls a vote Obama because Hillary says so.

Maybe some will but not me, I am not going to let anyone use my vote to get Obama into the white house, Hillary needs to do what she feels to do for her political life, I am just a voter and not seeking office so I can do what the hell I want with my vote.

How embarrassing it is here is the DNC making fuss over this great candidate Obama, wanting all of us to get on the train and celebrate the first AA to win the nomination and the next day Obama main backer get convicted on a host of charges.

Does the DNC have no shame? This is the first stain on Obama with more to come about his little “board games” and Rezko, but yet me must all follow like sheep and vote for him anyway, if Hillary wants to attach herself to that and get pulled into that shit with the entire lot of them its her chance she is taking.

If we are to take a cue from the Rezko trial as to the kind of dirty politics, with kickback, money laundering, big deals and scams as the new kind of politics that Obama is brining to the WH well I say leave the dam republicans there, I will not be part of changing one set of people to put in others that are going to bleed the treasury in wonderful deals all over again.

That is not change that is exchange we are being fooled into moving one set of players to put another group that from day one questions is being raised on what role Obama played with Rezko, I guess they also want us to believe that the republicans will sit quiet on this Rezko event and not point out scandal after scandal of what was going on with those hospital boards in Chicago.

No I will not be part of that, in time Obama’s name is going to hooked to Rezko, we don’t need a tape the Republicans have the greatest gift they could of asked for, they have Rezko and now its just to wait and see what role Obama played in the senate to get all this money passed between all of them.

John McCain was John Kerry’s first choice as VP.

For the little ones reading this: John Kerry ran for president (that’s the executive office) against George Bush (the current president). Kerry was a Democrat (that was the party of the people before it was stolen by the crooked Chicago political machine).

It’s no coincidence that Oprah lives in Chicago, was member of TUCC, and is funding BO. Apparently she did a “happy dance” on national TV yesterday.

Obama is a deep rooted Communist, taught by Frank Marshall Davis! Anyone who knows anything knows Obama is so deeply rooted in this, his life path proves it!

What is ironic is Blacks overwhelmingly supported Obama, and if they did even a tad bit of reading would have learned Obama’s mentor although Black, placed communism above race! Incredible how stupid people have proven themselves, Obama’s mentor was against going to war against Hitler even when the world was on board!

Ah how stupid those Obama voters are to accept the words of an unknown, but to those who do know, took the time to learn who the guy actually is, will fight for Democracy over communism all the way!

And trolls, crawl back into your Palestine bunkers and cash your Obama troll checks fast they will be worthless shortly!

I was a lifelong democrat, but until the democratic party reforms their election process, I am now an independent.
As for your list of rights that you are worried about all but one will be fine, because we will have a democratic congress. Reproductive rights? This may be something young women will have to fight for. They are choosing to vote for the most inexperienced and unvetted candidate any party has put up for nomination. The democratic party refuses to vet their candidates before swooning. This is one of the major reasons I am leaving the party. They have turned into a party of losers choosing losers.

Justin McCain is already committed to global warming and renewable energy, he spoke about it on Tuesday night and several other times before. McCain and Hillary convinced several other members of Congress to go with them to the Antartic so they could show them the effects of Global Warming. This had always been a bi-partisan issue in fact it was Teddy Rosevelt (R) who initiated the concern for our environment, along with voting against cheney’s energy bill obama voted for it, proves he cares more than obama. He has also promised to regulate the health insurance industry, neither one of the candidates believe in UHC though McCain wants to give more of a tax credit than obama to help people buy it. I know that McCain will do what is right when he becomes President and I know that he believes in our country and will restore us on our path back to the future.

The DNC and The RBC allowed the disenfranchisement of 2.5 million people and allowed obama to squash a revote for both of them, then they decided to usurp the will of the voters for their own when they had no authority to do so (regardless if the michigan leadership proposed it)and what the democratic party did was worse than what the Supreme Court did in 2000. Since then our government with bush’s dictatorial inspirations have taken hold of this new culture and if “we the people” allow this to continue we will not beable to stop this and it will completely destroy our country, Constitution, and her meaning. I will vote for McCain to stop this and work very hard to stop the dems from continuing the killing of a great nation that has continued the quest in the realization of American Exceptualism and realizing her fullest postential.

Meanwhile, I’m going to haul my formerly democratic but now apparently racist white butt to McCain. And I have advised my congresscritters that I will no longer vote for them, nor send them $. I live in MA so it is “tilting at windmills”, but I hope we can put a scare into Kerry and Frank.

Thanks for your permission. In a Marxist society, it is required.

Is this really what it’s come to?

In a word, Yes.

Now I will give you my regular roe v wade “threat” answer:

If my younger sisters lose Roe Wade it will be their own fault for taking the rights they have for granted, because they didn’t fight for them. They are complacent and can take the time to swoon over a sexy empty suit who has already set gender relations back a minimum of 30 years, and we haven’t even gotten to the General Election campaign yet. Serves them right. Not my problem. I know how not to get pregnant.

It’s my job to protect the rights I fought for that matter to me. This is a misogynist’s campaign and if younger women are too busy spawning over Leland Gaunt handing out Needful Things and discussing his vibrating phone when he leans on one of them, then they will have to learn to take the consequences of their own folly along with the consolations. Maybe then they will Get It. I have already done well in my life. Complacency is their enemy, not mine. Let em eat vibrating cell phones.

What is going on with the Obama fawners now is exactly what goes on with wife-beating or child-abusing spouses.
They are begging their victims to come home, please give them another chance, while at the same time blameing the victim for the situation.

They beat, punch, denigrate, torture, and try to psychologically enslave their victims. They feel all powerful until someone or something intercedes and they feel they are losing their power over said victims.

Then they grovel, cajole, and beg for another chance, while still intermittently harassing their victims if the persuasion seems not to be working.

Wise or rescued victims never return to their clutches, remove them from their lives, and avoid them like the plague.

The resolve and common goal of Clinton supporters is shelter. We do not have to deal with the psychoactive projections of the Obama minions.

We shall avoid them like the plague, while understanding their psychosis is not our problem!

Obama cannot and will not win and his abusive, insufferable supporters know it! We hold the keys!

Having been a Dean supporter, and having had to help Kerry even after all the dirty tricks and unfair coverage, I think I can get some of the sentiment I’ve read above. On the other hand, there are a lot of “inside” references to things ‘we all know about’ that are confusing to me. As a worried Democrat who’s not so in love with the party and almost never got to pull the lever for a candidate I loved, I hope to learn something here about what’s standing between all of you and all of the Obama people (I was a Richardson gal, so consider myself a visitor in both camps). Understandable if you consider me a troll fishing before I pounce, but I really am here visiting to learn. Thanks to anyone who can help me see your side.

As a non-US citizen this is really interesting to watch.
All those of you who are now ‘leaving for McCain’ clearly confirms what many expressed beforehand: McCain/Hillary what’s the difference? They both would’ve been 4 more years.

So you tacked along the Clinton trail just for the laughs or what? Now that it’s over you drift back into the fold.

I believe that Obama would be far the best that could happen to USA, just think new Supreme Court judges or Iraq.

But for the rest of the world Republican rule has been a great improvement: I’m sure Putin has been watching Bush’s suicidal policies with amazement. Iran is thrilled by its new strong position after the invasion of Iraq. US is a shadow of its former self, South America is blooming in the absence of a clear us-strategy, Europe is maturing to the challenges of a world without US supremacy.

Comment by AnninCa | 2008-06-05 11:06:36

I agree. McCain and Hillary do share a lot of common ground, and Obama is distinct.

Policy-wise? Not close. Hillary’s health care plan is far more progressive than Obama’s. So is her economic plan. Ditto for her energy plan. Obama is pretty milktoast, and uninspiring in that arena.

McCain and she are similar in terms of bi-partisanship experience, knowing how to get things done, and they agree on energy issues.

He’s very conservative on health care. Not his deal. He’d ignore it, frankly.

I’m waiting to hear about the economy. He’s going to be closer to me, I think, than Obama. Obama’s lack of knowledge about capital gains taxes sure frightened me! I live off, in part, of stocks. So he’s a disaster personally. I won’t vote for him based on that issue alone.

McCain will definitely leave my own finances alone, but he may not help the overall picture. We’ll see. I’m listening. But I’m assuming he’s a Republican and he’ll have too much of a hands-off policy.

Obama is a disaster on the foreign policy front. Other than making Europeans happy, he’ll screw that up totally.

So, the choices will become clearer before the election.

All this stuff about his origins? I don’t think it’s relevant. I think he’s a president in the pocket of Washington insiders.

That’s why I think his entire campaign is a joke. He IS the insider.

Obviously, Hillary was the true populist and the true outsider.

Comment by forbes | 2008-06-05 16:03:03

I see. That’s a reasonable argument, about the only one I’ve seen here. I think who’s an outsider may be debatable. But I guess the real issues are: can the next president bring the US economy back on its feet, can he end the war and can he fix the health care system.
And so who will be better at that McCain or Obama? Personally, as an outsider, I’d prefer someone who continues the Bush policy.

You people are fanatical self-defeating morons. You should have left the party with the rest of the racists back in the 60s. If you think having four more years of Bush regime policies and two to three more far right justices apointed to the Supreme Court (you must not care about women’s rights or Roe vs Wade) is better than the possibility of having a black Democratic president, then you aren’t now, and never have been, a Democrat.

It seems like self serving hurt is more important than reality in this forum. So you engage in a self destructive rant and you just might carry it on till November while AlQaida, Putin, Ahmedinejad and all the others who have benefited from Bush are cheering on.

I, for one, still see Obama as the best choice for America while McCain is the best for the rest of the world.

So all your false democrats, Go for it, vote America down the drain, while the bad guys are laughing their asses off.

He was fifth from the bottom of a class of over 900 graduating cadets. Is this someone you want in charge of our lives? He also is a convenient liar. I am deeply saddened regarding the state of our country and the propaganda that abounds. cheryl

I’m not quite that cynical. I think Hillary is experienced and knows how to walk the line on most of her statements. She’s learned from experience that you have to live by them later.

Obama? He’s a goof.

McCain? He’s known for being a renegade and will just say, “Pshhhhh.”

It’s who has the ability to connect with real people. Hillary does. But she’s also hamstringed by being the “woman.” God knows, if she ever just let it rip, the world would go mad. Even her gentle remarks get the media boys so upset. They all have mother hang-ups, obviously.

Being a mother myself, I get it. I have to be very, very careful with my adult son. I have TOO much power, even today. And he’s a grown man. When I figured that out finally, we started getting along. I like to say I sound like my grandmother these days. Nothing but positive because the slightest criticism sends him into a tizzy.

Women have too much emotional power. Not enough position power.

Hillary’s campaign showed us all the challenge. We just have to balance this better in the future for our daughters.

It’s silly stuff, really.

To all you so-called Democrats who are sore losers and probably closet racists, go vote for John McBush. You think you have it bad now, just wait. Obama has taken the high road from the beginning. He has done nothing but be respectful the entire race. Even when Billary threw party destroying trash cans at him, he remained positive and composed. We don’t need shallow people in the party anyway. Just be prepared for high gas prices, the elimination of roe vs. wade, a non ending war, no health care initiatives, a busted national budget, tons more soldiers killed, a potential war with Iran, escalated food prices and disrespect around the world. The Flip-Flop express has left the station, go jump on! And don’t complain like the idiots that now have buyers remorse over the current Dummy in the whitehouse.

(2) I hope you folks like having seven ultraconservative right-wing justices on the Supreme Court. Civil Liberties, eh, who needs’em. So let me get this straight, because your candidate can’t be permitted to break the rules to win, then no Democrat deserves to be in the White House? Way to cut off your nose to spite your face folks.

So ladies, purchase your burqas now while they’re cheap, because the American Taliban will be coming for you if McSame is allowed to become president and he gets his paws on the Supreme Court and the rest of the federal judiciary.

Comment by ulahane | 2008-06-05 11:46:47

Any qualified Democrat deserves to be president. Unfortunately Obama is neither qualified nor a Democrat.

Forget the supreme court talking point. The Democrat controlled Senate will never approve it. Bush couldn’t end Roe V. Wade when he had a Republican congress and you think McCain could do it with a Democrat one? How omnipotent do you think he is?

Comment by AnninCa | 2008-06-05 11:53:27

Just to make it clear I’m not a us citizen. I live in the Eurasian continent.

We have a great affection for the US over here. You have done great things for the world in the past. But the Bush adm. has so clearly shown us how dangerous it is to have only one super power with corrupt leadership.

Luckily for most of us (unfortunately not for the Iraqis) Bush has exposed how weak the US has become and how it is becoming increasingly irrelevant. Even the current crisis is mostly happening in the US while the rest of the world goes about its normal business.

In my personal opinion is that if you want US to regain its importance in the future you should accept that Obama won and go for a democratic president.

But apparently the current state of affairs is well deserved and an expression of the true nature of your nation – at least if the comments here are representative.

My first prediction is McCain wins, Halliburton will steal billions more of public $, KBR will do the same, Cheney and Co. will continue to funnel public fundings into their private projects. Tax cuts for the rich – no health care for Middle America – sub par health care for the troops. Schooling even more expensive – foreclosures at an even higher rate than what you experience today.

My second prediction is that several states will seek to loosen their ties with the union. The reasons will be
1) public health care – they will create their own solutions,
2) climate change legislation (now hindered by Bush)
3) The National Guard – states will want full control over their young volunteers – they don’t want to see them send overseas and extended indefinitely.

This is what you’ll be voting for when you vote McCain.

If the next election can be judged by the past two elections America WILL be voting for that exciting future.

So why does a foreigner care about the US election? Well I’m old enough to have felt the importance of US rebuilding Europe after WWII. So somehow I wish for Americans to be able to live prosperous and peaceful lives – I want Americans to be loved and looked upon with admiration by the rest of the world. This was mostly the case until the Republicans showed their true face with the Iraq invasion. Now that is all but gone. But not only that, your wealth and influence is melting away at an alarming speed. That’s wy it is so hard for me (and for most other non-americans) to understand why such destructive and suicidal policies can win any votes at all.

This forum, I would expect, would be against those policies but what I’m seeing is that personal sentiments takes precedent over rational thinking. You wow to support further demise of the US. As I wrote above all the bad guys are probably laughing – and trust me, if at some time it looks as if Obama is going to win they will likely voice open support for him in the hope it will destroy his chances.

Comment by forbes | 2008-06-05 18:18:46

> Besides your Indonesian comment has a US Ip and time-zone, how does that work?

No idea – probably got to do with how noquarterusa deals with posts.

as for ‘you poor Americans’: You are in for a major downturn mostly because of the determined effort of an ideology driven incompetent government.

Now after Hillary lost the primaries everybody here suddenly wows to support those policies for the next four years. How did that happen?

As for the ‘Bush is good for the rest of the world’:

In South America democracy is spreading which I find very good. I’m sure a more focused president would never have let that happen. Bush tried astonishingly unsuccessful to stage a coup against Chavez (regardless of the direction his rule has taken he was and is democratically elected).

US is now trying to roll back that development by instigating unrest between Columbia and her neighbors and by supporting a violent opposition in Bolivia.

I guess a Democratic president will better at getting international support in undermining those democracies than a Republican would be.

If you don’t know what I mean I’ll remind you that Bush unsuccessfully tried to convince Spain not to sell military equipment to Venezuela. A Democratic president would probably have succeeded.

That’s why I say a Democratic president would in all likelihood be good for most American while a Republican president would be good for ‘foreigners’ both the good and the bad.

Comment by AnninCa | 2008-06-05 17:06:35

We’re never going to be loved by Europe. LOL* Come on, who would you guys hate then?

That could be self-damaging.

Comment by forbes | 2008-06-05 18:33:53

Don’t kid yourself – you were loved by the Europeans – but you blew it twice in the last 50 years.

First time was the Vietnam War – after that you slowly regained popularity. Second time: Iraq. you are still loosing because of that.

The most significant difference from then till now is that the economic burden of the Vietnam War could be passed on to your creditors through inflationary policies – the dollar was the effective reserve currency of the world – they had no choice but to pick up the tap. Not so today – as you can see international trade continues to thrive even as the US is hurting. Trade is moving away from dollars, and in time, away from the US.

As I predict above, the stronger states will tend to loosen their ties with the union – and I suggest a very ironic trend: the liberal leaning states will be more active in leaving the union while the read states will end up supporting the federal government over states’ independence.

Sacrifice he has done for the country. His son is serving in Iraq right now. When contrasted that to Obama and his accomplishments gave me a big long pause.

Even as someone who voted for democrat party line in last 3 election cycles I cannot in good faith vote for Obama over McCain.

Of course, my opinion doesn’t count as part of your election. But i think we all need friends.

Under the Republicans the US has been excessively good at loosing their friends. You are at the moment little by little being decoupled from the world economy and the incentive to help you out is being undermined by Bush’s inflationary policies and the war. At the same time you have lost in economical strength and in military strength. In such times you really want good friends.

That’s why it is difficult to understand that any American (except the very rich) would support such policies.

Comment by Mark | 2008-06-05 12:12:48

I’m sure some of you will actually vote for John McCain. Okay.

But those who do that might as well admit that they’d just as well vote for George Bush. McCain’s voted the Bush position 95% of the time in 2007 and 100% of the time in 2008. He plans to *never* leave Iran and to attack Iraq.

Are you really willing to see the military, financial, environmental damage done, because the anger in you is *that* extreme? You need to step back and take a careful look at what you’re contemplating. Then, at least go take a look at Obama’s positions on his website, or some of his speeches. Whatever decision you make, you need to do it seriously and with attention to the lives you will harm, as people lose their jobs, health care, and lives as the result of a McCain presidency.

Please remember how important this decision is, and approach it with wisdom and reflection.

Thank you.

Comment by Darryl | 2008-06-05 12:28:34

This aguement is fallicous. You are taking A Bush and B McCain and saying that they equal each other. A doesn’t equal B unless of course you live in the magical land of Obamas, where individuals can occupy the same body simultaneously.

In addition, your premise that McCain wants to stay in Iraq and never leave is false. On his website he has an exit strategy. So once again A doesn’t equal B. You even give evidence of this in your argument 95% doesn’t equal 100%.

I suggest that maybe the reason Bush failed is because his lack of experience and choice of cabinet made the mission a faliure in addition to no exit strategy. That is definately a possible reason for that outcome. Notice I give actuall reasons rejecting the possibility that two different variable can equal each other. Therefore my arguement is more logically sound. Notice I used the word possible, because nothing is concrete untill it occurs in reality. That is another problem with the argument, you are inserting an outcome that hasn’t occured yet.

Comment by forbes | 2008-06-05 12:43:07

> you are inserting an outcome that hasn’t occured yet.

Well, of course, that’s what we all do when trying to predict the future (ie. what will a McCain presidency be like or an Obame one)

I agree, we don’t know what McCain will bring ad we don’t know what Obama will bring. I also agree with most comments here that Hillary probably would have been a better choice than Obama. But choosing third Republican term over a Democratic one I believe (not ‘know’) will be more of the same. He is deeply dependent on much the same power structures that the Bush presidency was built upon so their is only so much he can do differently. And there is another point which I find pretty important – I have watch several hours of McCain videos during the last year or so in many of those clips – to be very frank – he is not quite coherent. This is especially clear if you compare recent videos with older ones. This I find a bit troubling for the world’s most powerful man. He is old, he has had a rough life, and ha hasn’t been entirely open about his medical record (I know he ‘opened’ it for a few hours – why was that?)

Well, take a look around the world – I mean the World (that one outside the US) and see who benefited and who lost during the Republican rule.
Putin is stronger than ever
China is stronger than ever
Iran is stronger than ever
Hamas is stronger than ever (even Israel is now talking to them – they know have no choice)
Hezbollah is stronger than ever
Kazai of Afghanistan is cooperating with Taleban against the will of the US
AlQaeda is having a great time in Pakistan

Do you think all those ‘nice guys’ would want a democratic president?

But if he looks like winning they will publicly voice support for him in the hope he looses.

You can take a look around your home world as well and see who gained and who lost during those years. Halliburton, KBR excelling in raping female workers and then getting massive war contracts.

So my question still remains: Why would an ordinary American vote for such policies?

Comment by Nadabama | 2008-06-05 16:17:04

and he is on the record: as appointing judges that will overturn roe v wade and crimmilize your medical decisions. he is on the record to leave your children, spouses and parents as clay pigeons in the middle of a civil war for a hundred years. his family derives their income from marketing alcohol to your children. and if obama selects The Honorable Janet Napolitano Governor of Arizona will you also turn your back on her?

what exactly are the values this new party of yours stands for?

i live in michigan. i was robbed by gov granholm of my vote along with 1.8 MILLION democratic michigan voters beyond the paultry 600K that voted in an event that the DNC had already declared would not count. there were no deleagtes awarded out of this event. there were no delagtes to ‘take’ from hillary as she had no delegates. the fair approach would have been to split the delegates.

re roe – if you’re truly concerned, support hillary. if you support obambi the unelectable, it’s on you.

btw, there’s a tried and true method to avoid any problem with an unwanted pregnancy, in case you really are worried, and in case you actually have some hope of ever getting laid. it worked great back in the day, 100% effective, and i’m sure even an obamabot can get the hang of it if she practices hard enough.

here it is – maintain clothing affixed to body. take left leg, put it next to right leg, do not separate in presence of penis. guaranteed to prevent pregnancy.

as the last thing this country needs is more obamabots, i strongly recommend this technique.

yeah, if only those dumb black sluts would keep their legs shut they wouldn’t need abortions. you’re really showing your feminist colors here. news flash: the women who are going to die if mccain is elected are not all obama supporters, although a lot of them will probably be black so i understand if you want more of them dead. however, some of them might be hillary supporters and thus worthy of life!
support for hillary at this point is too little too late: in case you didn’t hear she’s dropping out of the race and thus will not be in a position to nominate any supreme court justices. hate to break it to you, but at this point if you want a candidate who’s going to defend reproductive rights you have one choice and his name is obama. while you are obviously either too old or too bitter to care about whether or not women are forced to have babies, i assure you that a lot of women in america still do and will find this attitude more and more repugnant as our november choice becomes clearer and clearer.
