Excellent cartoon, as always, Pat. You’re the best!
Ha! Now if you could only sew those two halves together you’d get one whole person…who still won’t vote for Barky Obama.
Could this be were all those HALF votes went?
LOL! But if one tried to put these two together one half would be facing the wrong way, which I sort of did on purpose because that wouldn’t work either!
The whole situation is very Humpty Dumpty.
Very appropriate! Unity, but how? Impossible given what has been done.
You’ve hit the nail on the head. And Pat, this cartoon is WONDERFUL, as usual.
Juli
OMG Pat, you really hit it this time!
Funny stuff. I have to say I feel more grown-up today. I’m glad I’m no longer a straight party Democrat.
I really think that was lazy of me. It gave me a way to vote quickly and without thinking a lot.
Today, I’m prepared to be a lot more responsible. I want to take the labels off, listen, review the records, and vote for a mix.
Enough of party politics. I contributed to this disaster, frankly. I’m the voter they “take to the bank.”
That’s wrong. Nobody should take any voter to the bank.
So I’m going to make my own personal amends for the next 20 years by making sure I’m not a “take her to the bank” voter.
Anyone with integrity and a record has my ear now.
Great post and I couldn’t agree more!
Excellent post….well stated and right on point AnninCA..I think we all had a terrible rude awakening this primary season…I join you in your statement..
Pat….as usual…another great cartoon…you are the best and we are very lucky to have you on our team…thanks
Today, I’m a PUMA “Free Democrat”.
I love this. Write an LTE to your paper, spread this message far and wide.

I completely agree.
I will never again be a “party” voter. I will now vote for the candidate – not a party. And John McCain is my Presidential candidate for 2008.
Party loyalty is dead.
The DNC killed it.
LMAO Pat all you are missing is DNC headquarters where the other half of peoples rights have been stolen and held!
Ha. That reminds me of when I had to cut the toilet seat in half because my half-assed brother-in-law was coming for a visit.
obama backs Lieberman to the wall?
http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/06/obama-confronts.html
Oh yea, it must be the new politics…let the unity begin.
Lieberman can keep on telling the Democrats to kiss his ass. Damn straight he can criticize Obama after he called his Iran legislation “war mongering.” I would love Lieberman to run as McCain’s VP, but I know that won’t help win the election. But I have much respect for Lieberman, much more than I did going into these primaries and seeing the Democrats turn on their own.
Lieberman ran as an Independent because the same folks who “selected” Obama, promoted Lamont.
The results will be the same. Defeat for the Donkey in the fall.
nope don’t trust Lieberdouche
don’t trust any of them
Yeah, this is the way to win the Jewish vote. Methinks Obama’s “Jewish Problem” WON’T be going away.
The FL/MI issue is completely moot; Obama has enough delegates now that he would be the nominee even if they were seated in full.
BS…..he stole 40 plus delegates.
You all are so full of BS.
He crowned himself.
He stole the election.
And you just are going to have to deal with it.
Or as you guys are fond of saying, “Pull up your big boy pants.”
He’s a thief.
Plain and simple.
We’ll swallow this.
But you’re going to lose big in November as a result.
Anna,
I agree with most of what you wrote.
Where I disaree is with the We’ll swallow this.
I for one truly believe that Life is like a sporting event.
1. there are RULES
2. If you break the RULES a referee (judge) gets to penalize you and remove you from the event.
3. You cannot return to the event until you have made amends by accepting and fulfilling the penalty.
In Obama’s case so many RULES were broken. Our problem is that the referees either didn’t show up or were bought off.
I for one am willing to bide my time, and then make sure the Referees (judges and courts) penalize ALL the corrupt, craven, morally and ethically bankrupt players.
We can start by reminding congress and the members of the RULES committee that they took a sacred oath to uphold the constitution. Those who did not do so, by allowing the breaking of laws written under that constitution, are guilty of TREASON.
Then we have bibery, corruption, Fraud, and a host of other crimes.
It is beyond STUPIED to REWARD public officials who intentionally break the RULES (law) and I for one will not sanction this type of behavior no way no how. Therefore I cannot and shall not swallow this string of criminal travesties.
You mean like when Fl and Mi moved up their primaries despite being told by the referee (the DNC in this case) that it was against the rules and they would be penalized?
You DON’T understand what this is all about, do you? You will come Nov.
It will never be moot to us Floridians, and I suspect, Michigan either.
OB hasn’t won a damned thing. In Novemeber, he will be a bad memory.
Mcainocrat and proud to dump this “democratic” party!
NO maney for the dnc!
PUMA!
What a daft prick. NEITHER candidate has the REQUIRED PLEDGED DELEGATES to be the nominee. BO won’t be the nominee until August when the Super Delegates vote and until he asks nicely for Hillary’s delegates and she releases them. You know he needs HER delegates too, right? He needs 4234 delegates to be the nominee. Without HER delegates, he’s NOTHING.
So, fuck off.
strange.. in my country candidates need to reach 2118 delegates to become the Democratic nominee.
What a daft prick. NEITHER candidate has the REQUIRED PLEDGED DELEGATES to be the nominee. BO won’t be the nominee until August when the Super Delegates CAST THEIR VOTES.
So, fuck off.
And the Obama waffling begins
Today he said that the Iranian National Guard was rightfully named as a terrorist group
When will the people learn not to believe this guy
The guy has no center
Has no compass
Has no beliefs…except to be elected
He has never worked for any issue in his life except to get ahead
He is going to disappoint SO VERY his bamboozled followers
Ah, I must disagree with one point. He does have a moral compass – or two even – but one just retired from his church and the other was put on leave by the diocese.
Indeed…but note that Rev Wright is trying to get back to the Trinity pulpit
Iranian National Guard was rightfully named as a terrorist group
He voted against it. before he was for it.
I understand Senator Webb’s position.
However the idea that just a piece of the Iranian military is a “terrorist” orginization is a mixed bag.
The contrast between Senator Clinton’s speech to AIPAC and BO’s was devestating for BO. Senator Clinton was on the mark with personal knowledge of AIPAC and BO? ZIP…NADA…
BO had a chance and blew it badly while Hillary ran circles around his ingnorance. Smart man, my ass.
Dems for McCain 08
I now agree with those including Bush who call my former party the DEMOCRAT party – they were right after all. They are not democratic.
I also feel suddenly grown up – no longer feel an obligation to be loyal to the DEMOCRAT party! Yeah!
Wonderful, isn’t it? I feel like a heavy weight has been lifted from my chest.
I’m free from those hypocritical, lying, stealing, backstabbing bastards in the Democratic party. I only feel sadness for the wonderful Democrats who will sadly still remain in the party.
By the way, did anyone see this at TaylorMarsh.com?
—————————————
FINAL 2008 DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY COUNT:
Hillary Clinton 17,785,009
Barack Obama 17,479,990
-ABC News
————————————–
Hillary won the popular vote by 305,019 votes.
It’s Florida in 2000 all over again.
The Marsh site is now an Obama site and the bots are at it full blast. They claim Obama is a MODERATE democrat. Uh Huh and we were born yesterday.
obama just said in Virgina the “Democratic party is NOW HIS PARTY, and the DNC will no longer accept money from special interest”….LOL wait till he loses the general it will be a sweet day indeed.
He said that? “It’s now my party.”
On Wed. Nov. 5, it’ll be his party and he’ll cry if he wants to.
He will definitely want to.
well, if he thinks it’s now “his party,” he can have it. he and dean and pelosi and a few children can get some potato chips and have a little party down in rezko’s basement. that’s all that’ll be left of the party.
Obama stole nothing. It’s a primary. People lose. Grow up.
Remember these words after the general. . .
The new democratic thought police has spoken.
Bob:
Obama is a FRAUD and an illegitimate nominee. That is how he will be remembered by historians; and you can take that to the bank.
Buddy,
You and your kind, that think breaking laws, terrorist attacks such as shutting down the City of Philadelphia computers for a day, physically battering women. assault (use of vile threatening languaage) and on and on, will learn the hard way that actions have consequnces.
Just remember, all your IP addresses are stored so tracing will not be a problem.
Further, my County Sheriff lives 3 doors away, and a Police Captain lives across the street. They have copies of the violence committed and that which is planned.
My neighbors are in agreement that any Obamanations thht come into the neighborhhod WILL BE arrested on charges of verbal assault, harassment and attempts to foster civil unrest.
Drip, Drip, Drip little by little you SHALL learn that breaking rules has consequences.
Did you get excited writing that?
So much lunacy. You will have Obama canvassers arrested because you didn’t like some pro Obama internet posts?
That’s Hillarious.
Nellie
I am “suresure” that the Convention in Denver will have a zero tolerance policy.
“All Politics are local”, as Tip O’Neil pointed out.
So one should look at who controls the voting apparatus on a state by state basis.
As witnessed in Florida, The Republicans jammed the DUNCE. How did the DUNCE play a no brainier PR situation?
They aided an abetted the dis-enfranchisement of Dem’s in that state.
So what could have been Dean saying, “We refuse to have the state of Florida Republicans dictate the circumstances of our Democratic Primary and we will stand by our deeply held principles, that every vote counts and every vote will be counted.”, we get;
the country witnessing the honest decent hardworking Democratic voters of Florida getting screwed first by Republicans, which is nothing new, but then by their own party, BIG TIME.
The level of distrust of Florida voters is some of the highest in the nation and the DUNCE was to busy scamming the “rules” and process for BO, to notice they literally shot themselves in both feet.
If was a Dem in the state of Florida trust your own party? I think not.
This pattern of behavior at the state level is not lost on some of us. So what states have WHO controlling the voting apparatus?
The Florida democratic voters got screwed by their local Democratic politicians.
Go back over the history of what happened (like the smart ass politicians making a joke of trying to change the primary date ON CAMERA) it wasn’t a case of the local republicans forcing the dems into something.
Go look at how many dems voted against it.
Are you one of those pukes I listened to all this spring. I Hillary steals the election from Obama you will pea your pants in Denver?
Talk about feeling entitled. You get your talking points every morning – say this today, say the opposite tomorrow, do you, yourself, as an individual person, when you go home at night have any ethics any love for this great nation?
You will lose too. On November 4.
Bitch.
hey Bob……you grow up…November is coming!
hey Bob……you grow up…there is nothing more you can say or do to us that we care about…we heard all your rhetoric for months, you won the battle but you didn’t win the war…….November is coming!
These would make excellent PROTEST t-shirts at the convention!!! Where can I buy one?
I may be mistaken but didn’t Obama mock Hillary for her vote on the Iranian Revolutionary Gaurd as Terrorist? I thought so….
Did anyone hear him do a “SUPER FLIP FLOP” the other day at AIPAC? he NOW says he sponsored a bill to “LABEL” the Iranian revolutionary Gaurd a Terrorist Organization! Does this man have no damn shame? He bitched and moaned about Hillary’s vote on this and now he’s claiming he was for it before he was against it and now he’s for it! What a slime ball! I just saw this On FOX and they are going to town on him about this! LMAO!
Amzing wasn’t it? 180 degrees FLIP FLOP: what a fraud. It was so embarrassing that even HRC has to vouch for him….
Obama is such a fraud that it makes me puke.
I don’t think he convinced anyone at the AIPAC; they aren’t fools !!
To Larry Johnson:
could you make a post on you take of Obama’s farse yesterday at AIPAC?
Second that. The contrast was something I will never forget watching.
It could not be any clearer why Senator Clinton is hands down the more qualified candidate.
All those BO platitudes and flip flops contrasted with a very deep personal understanding of the issues that Senator Clinton posesses, laid bare the scism that is this countries future as it relates to the middle east.
What I am trying to understand is WHY both spoke on the same day. It was not a good idea BO choose to look like a fool.
The old saying is true. A picture is worth a thousand words.
obama just said in Virgina the “Democratic party is NOW HIS PARTY, and the DNC will no longer accept money from special interest”….LOL wait till he loses the general it will be a sweet day indeed, sorry not looking for another dictator.
I’m sending HALF a check to the DNC today. I suggest everyone else do the same. (Just make sure to keep the half with your account number.)
Today, I’m a PUMA “Free Democrat”.
I just sent the DNC my old Kerry-Edwards ball cap… stuffed into Howard Dean’s Postage Paid envelope.
LBJ ROFLMAO
This place really lifts my spirits!
Didn’t think of that – excellent idea.
I just cut up my two DNC cards and mailed them to the DNC, and Sen’s Reid, Schumer, Durbin, and Leahy.
Enclosed was a letter stating I DO NOT SUPPORT CROOKS, LIARS, THEIVES and that I am now a proud member of the PUMA Party.
Great picture.. BTW the fraud;s camp was in debt at the beginning of June and the DNC is having lots of trouble getting $$, since most Hillary supporters will not give 1 cent to the DNC
AGAIN>>>>>> DO NOT GIVE 1 CENT TO THE DNC!!!
NOT 1 CENT!
give to hillary, NOT TO THE DNC!
I have recieved an e-mail from deans brother calling for unity. I replied.
HELL WILL FREEZE OVER BEFORE I VOTE FOR THIS RACIST – ANTI-AMERICAN – KNOW NOTHING. I WILL DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO DEFEAT HIM AND ALL THAT BACK HIM. THERE HAS TO BE A SPECIAL PLACE IN HELL FOR THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY THAT SHOVED HIM DOWN OUR THROATS.
That is my reply to their phony unity.
I don’t think healing is what they should go for
I think if the old Kennedy faction “won” the nomination, their operatives should focus strictly on registering new voters night & day in hopes of replacing those of us in the mass exodus if they have any hopes of winning whatsover. I don’t know if NCLB is responsible for their inability to think critically, learn from history, or to do math, or if their new math just matches their dismal new politics.
If when Kerry decided not to pursue the vote fraud in Ohio, in particular, after soliciting several million dollars for a Legal Defense Fund that never materialized (how many hundreds of millions of dollars does THK, widow of Republican John Heinz, have again? And isn’t John Kerry on the top ten list in the Senate for $$$$ investments (profit) made off the war? I think Richsez popped some breathtaking statistics in here about a month ago & Kerry made that list- so shocking) he negotiated a Dem win or a Republican pass on 2008, and they have some control over the machines, or John McCain will be helped to implode or not nurtured along, that’s another story.
I don’t know what to say. Every election comes down to this one way or the other & normally you could count on some grumbling but a coming together. I don’t think that is the case here. There’s certainly been something unique about this one. To me, the – apparatus? of the Democratic Party has proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that it is every bit as craven, shameless, power hungry, nasty & short sighted as their peers across the aisle.
Personally I have no plans other than popping popcorn & watching the rest of this sad farce unfold. Dorma had a great great post awhile ago I should have saved- about- We’re Democrats, we leave, we storm off, we kiss & make up, we take a stand, we return… blah blah blah but this is different. There ain’t no “D” after my name on my voter registration after this one. I’m moving next week so I may as well wait until I get settled & change my driver’s license, etc. otherwise I would literally do it today. I already looked into doing it online.
I came into the Democratic Party because of vote fraud & because I had extraordinary interest in national security & fp, particularly after 9/11 & because we need to do something about health care. This turn of events would be laughable if it weren’t so deeply frightening.
Perhaps it is true that most of the same people will ultimately be involved on the Dem side administratively, but my trust has been abused & now is broken.
Dem operatives reading- I’m telling you right now. Go register new voters & don’t stop.
You have lost – not misplaced, not temporarily offended, millions of voters. I remember that “hope”ful feeling in my chest in 04, sitting around listening to Air America, etc. & so many broadcasts about how the Democratic Party could reach out to women, particuarly single women. I’ve watched this long slow trainwreck coming for months & I believed that someone somewhere would wake up & see this with some clarity & realism.
I honestly believe that other than Mike Gravel, your machine coalesced behind the one candidate who could possibly fracture this party to the point where John McCain gets a pick up opportunity.
And no, idiots, it’s not racism.

Pat is a big fan of Bluemoon
Likewise, friend.
“I don’t think that is the case here. There’s certainly been something unique about this one.”
there is something unique — they declared they are going to nominate the candidate who lost NY, NJ, MA, CA, FL, MI, PA, OH, WV, KY, RI, IN, AR, NV, NH, NM, and SD. Clinton won virtually every Democratic and swing state except IL. BO has to reinvent the globe to put together a winning coalition in November — or he has to get Diebold to rig the election for him. I admit, I am terrified, after the 250,000 odd votes in NC, that this is his strategy. He is better at stealing votes than any Democrat in history.
I hope all 18 million of us regular Democrats pray for a new record in electoral loss. Maybe that’s why Mcgovern endorsed BO…to get rid of that hateful record associated with his candidacy.
I hope all 18 million of us regular Democrats pray for a new record in electoral loss. Maybe that’s why Mcgovern endorsed BO…to get rid of that hateful record associated with his candidacy.
———————–
Yep.
It’s telling. One huge loser from 1972 endoring another in 2008.
Well said Bluemoon, what you post resonates strongly with many many people including me.
As BO said “I did not see it coming and I am sure there will be others like it”.
I will watch it happen with a degree of sadness but with absolutely zero empathy for the display of indifference.
lmao
PRICELESS!
Yes – how dare the Democratic party rule that the Florida and Michigan delegates be seated at half strength, when it’s the exact same thing that the republicans did.
in your mind the Florida and Michigan republican voters going to similarly refuse to vote for McCain too – or does that sword not swing both ways.
First, the Republicans didn’t give delegates to a candidate that voluntarily took his name off of the ballot for political reasons (pander to Iowa and NH and deny a victory to Clinton). The DNC and the Party illegally and against the Party’s rules, gave Obama the Uncommitted delegates and four of Clinton’s. They expressly went against the certified votes – that is called blatant theft. Uncommitted delegates are a legal part of the DNC rules and should have gone to the convention as uncommitted with both Clinton and Obama having the chance to sway them to their respective sides. Never, should any delegates from Clinton be given to Obama.
Also, the Republicans followed their rules from the beginning and did not use extra ordinary and draconian punishments. The primaries were held and counted as part of the nomination process. This was not the case for the Democrats who disenfranchise voters first by not allowing their votes to count, second by stealing their votes and third, not counting their votes fully. This is my prime reason for working and voting for McCain, working against all Obama supporters and working for Clinton backers. I no longer see any real difference between the Parties (Roe is a false hope – it is essentially gutted so only those who can afford abortions, get them, which is no different than pre-Roe).
I am an independent voter who will use my time, effort, funds and votes for those that I either like or against those that I like less.
Greg, couple of problems with your argument.
First, Florida was forced to move up. The “safe harbor” clause should have applied. They were outvoted 2:1 in the Florida legislature (same ratio they were outvoted by the RBC). That was simply theft on the DNC’s part.
Second, they didn’t just take half away from the Michigan voters, they REASSIGNED them to guarantee Obama went over the top. Can you hear me yet? THE DNC-RBC REASSIGNED VOTES FROM ONE CANDIDATE TO ANOTHER (using their patented Obama Crystal Ball) TO ACHIEVE THE DESIRED RESULT.
If I appear to be screaming, it’s only because you appear to be deaf.
The DNC caused this clusterfuck in the first place by trying to protect Iowa and New Hampshire (for no good reason). For years, people have complained about the unbalanced impact Iowa and New Hampshire have on American Presidential Politics. Florida and Michigan tried to change that, as they are far more important states electorally that either Iowa or New Hampshire.
You broke it, you fix it. I suggest you make glue out of the old donkey.
The DNC should change their letters to PUP : Phony Unity Pony.
LOL! Love it. Would make a good bumper sticker. =)
VOMIT ALERT
Just channel flipped while lunching. Who turned up on LIFETIME, the most viewed TV by women, almost exclusively? bulshitboma giving a FREE spot encouraging a new support program for Army wives. hard to keep down my lunch.
PLEASE PROTEST
If you are a woman (and who cares if you’re not)- send an email protesting the use of a public cause FOR OBAMA’S CAMPAIGN PURPOSES. Just google lifetime network for who best to contact. ALSO contact DISNEY which owns Lifetime –
again, just google for best contact info.
These protests now are no joke. These companies don’t want to lose viewers and supporters. We really should nip this in the bud. Otherwise, his ugly Dorian Gray face is going to start turning up on every Feminine-related TV product – in his hypocrisy of trying to charm the woman’s vote. Makes my skin crawl~!!!
About the above on Lieberman – Did see on Daily Kos they were going nuts happy that Lamont is in the Dem spot and Lieberman will be running as Independent Dem. Do we have some effective ideas to help support Lieberman’s campaign?
I believe Oprah owns lifetime now. Obama will get all the air time she can give him. Stinks doesn’t it. He is absolutely the most disgusting person I have ever heard talk. I cannot look at him for fear or ralphing uncontrollably. Screw the democratic party. I just signed up as a republican for the first time in my life. No turning back for me. I’ve had it. Disgusting liars, cons and power hungry people have taken over the democratic party so its no longer a party I want to be a part of. I don’t believe anything they say anymore. Likewise the mass news media. I’ll get my news online where I can get the truth.
oprah doesn’t own lifetime.. she has the oxygen channel, which is losing $$
For army wives?
I swear, he thinks it’s the 1950s. What about women who are enlisted in the Army themselves? No wonder women aren’t warming up to him.
Regarding the bozo above, “you lost, just saying” Since these illiterate fools have NO idea in the world of American govermental procedures or even what a democracy is, there’s not much point explaining that there is NO official Dem Nominee until the August convention. They’ve just hear to do their standard vampire bat act – hang out til they think they get the fresh blood of a living being to react to them.
Really BEST IGNORED. CAN WE PLEASE JUST START SKIPPING OVER THEIR COMMENTS AS IF THEY AREN’T EVEN THERE?!
Wonderful work Pat. And so very true that it hurts.
It is sad what the DNC had done. It is all over for Den.
After all the insult and on going insult from the the media and all the rest towards the Clintons.
My take is that the Clinton should stay away from this DNC run.
Sen. Clinton should start preparing for 2012, that could not be stolen from her then. My relatives will not be voting for Obama and DNC, not this time.
Thanks
Bush has established a Presidency that explicitly places itself above the law. McCain has indicated that he will further entrench this authoritarianism. Neither Congress nor the Press are willing to challenge it. Another four years may mean a permanent turn away from the essential structure of the Constitution, as the Bush way becomes “the way things are”. We and our children may never have the chance to reverse this that we have now in the imperfect, yet single, Democratic nominee. Please choose wisely!
And given that Obama never has OBEYED the law???
What the hell is the difference?
Exactly! The only candidate who stated that she would reinstate the Constitution by “bringing it out of cold storage and warming it up” was Hillary. She also would go through a litany of real changes to the Bush war against the Constitution.
Obama lusts for power. He will try to entrench this authoritarianism for the benefit of his backers and blacks. Go away.
OK, I thought I would run this by you “Freedom”.
Which candidate will and which one will not permit Blackwater and other “contractors” to operate in Irag? Or New Orleans and the borders for that matter.
Just checking.
It’s great to be free. I’m about to tell one of the Dean brothers to eff off in response to his solicitation email.
…lower than a yallow dog thou shall not drag me.

Obama fe fi fo fama says……..
Thats not the Reverend Wright I have come to know.
Thats not the Reverend Plfeger I have come to know.
Thats not the Tony Rhezko I have come to know.
Thats not the Mahuod Ackmadinajed I have com to know.
Thats not the Hamas I have come to know.
He must think Americans are total imbeciles. He is going to have a rude awakening.
Joel… fantastic!!!
winning the nomination is not winning the general election. and obama will never win it…. at that glorious time, the trolls will all be rounded up and disposed of. obama will be indicted and the world will be safer with a real american running our country. it was very easy to become an independent today. the bhodnc can kiss my big fat white ass and i fully support john mccain….
I can`t wait to see all the pundit`s faces on Nov 4, when the results start coming in.
You mean when Hillary is elected president?
Yes!!!
Sounds good to me.
Oh my. Logged on and spewed coffee all over my screen. What a great cartoon.
Yes, Pat, you’ve captured the reason for my splitting headache! I am no longer a whole person! After what happened to my state when I voted for Gore and now this, I am just utterly disgusted. HRC for me every day.
What say you Obama?

Hi Everyone,
This is my first post here though I have visited MANY MANY times. I am one of 18Mil Hillcrats who the DNC and NObama and crew have said they don’t need in November. Well this Latina will make sure my vote DOES NOT go to NObama in November.
Just wanted to say Thank you to Larry J. and other’s here for giving us this space in the blogworld and exposing the REAL NObama’s!
The Hillsite has been invaded by Trolls making nicey and “attempting” to sway us. They are CLUELESS at the damage that has been done.
Obama may not need you but we do. Welcome.
Thank you HARP!
I have joined the PUMA movement also! Anything to keep the corrupto Obitter out of the Oval office.
Denver here we come!
Give those trolls hell!
Wonderful!!!!! Party Unity My Ass!
I like the “blood” detail. well done as always.
what cracks me up is that if Obama wasn’t so corrupt and didn’t steal votes that there would really be no need for any healing…
as americans we all respect the vote…
the reason we aren’t falling in behind Obama is that Obama chose to shit on one of the most sacred beliefs we have.
America has lost its “moral authority” now…
How can we ever confront Mugabe or any other thug in the various corners of the globe now?
we are lost.
Americans, be they republican, democrat, ind., green, orange, purple, black or white all respect the vote.
We must all UNITE together to to protect the vote, our democracy and save america from the Daley, Rezko, Obama machine…
This is the one thing we must all unite on…
Obama has already started slinging the excuses and the new lies…
just today there was an Obama announcement on how he is cleaning up the process and they are stopping special interests from donating money…
kinda silly now that they already lined up at the special interest trough, isn’t it?
Lets move now and get to work…
Vote against your economic interests! My family is in the top percent of income, but not in wealth of this country. I think America is in better shape with policies that favor a strong middle class. NEO-CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICANS DO NOT! There is too much corruption, cronyism, inefficiency, and the uber rich are doing very well, the rest of us are being squeezed. I want a better America for my children and grandchildren.I will not be okey-doked by big money interests and be swayed by rumours, innuendos, short remarks taken out of context (and repeated ad nauseum). I am voting for real change for a better America. I am an independent and have voted in the past for both republicans and democrats. Not this time. Obama is so strong a candidate that the criticisms against him are petty. I am proud of my country, but ashamed and embarrassed by ignorance, bigotry, dishonesty, and our manipulation of intelligence to justify an unprovoked invasion of another country. Ask Bush to define “SUCCESS IN IRAQ.” No one is promising VICTORY! If we cannot have military VICTORY than we need to attempt a MEDIATED PEACE. I believe that a complete change in administration is our best hope for that to happen.
Are you a Hillary supporter posing as an Obama supporter?
This statement is whacked:
And the rest of your comment is more suited for a pro-Obama blog where Hopeium smokers might appreciate it. But not here.
F&*K OFF! Go someplace where someone gives a damn about a word you’re spewing!! You and your ilk have f*&ked us again in the General election if your Messiah is the nominee!! Go to HE((, I will never vote for that lying sack of sh*t, misogynist, arrogant pr!ck! Did I mention…F^&K OFF!
Yep I heard that fool Obama with the its my party crap, now he need to kick Dean and crew butts to the curb, all who rallied around him he should start to cut them off by the knees it would be fun to watch.
Guess he got a kick out of declaring ‘its his party” and even that fool Major Garret on FOX was saying yes Clinton needs to understand that now, I guess these media people will never stop, I sure hope Hillary does not go all over the place begging for votes for this man.
Did anyone see this news break—Can someone tell me what happened to it being official?
I thought it was not official until Denver?
“NEW YORK (AP) – Acting swiftly as his party’s presumed presidential nominee, Barack Obama is keeping Howard Dean at the helm of the Democratic National Committee, while bringing in one of his top strategists to oversee the party’s operations.”
That just means Howard gets TWO hands up his ass now.
As with all your cartoons and commentary, you really nail it. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. But the cooments you make and the documentation accompanying most of your cartoons really clarify the issues. You are are really great and valuable political cartoonist! Very insightful!
Keep the cartoons coming as we move toward the convention.
I have put it up at my site…you are all welcome to come see it for yourselves…http://reddragon62.blogspot.com
WOW! What an spot. I don’t know if it will change anyone’s opinion but it will harden opinion, that’s for sure.
Today, I’m officially a PUMA. I’m free from the tyranny at DEM-Rat party.
Great cartoon Pat. It’s really hurt.
I wonder how he is going to keep all his lies straight?

Excellent cartoon and it describes exactly how us people in Florida and Michigan are feeling. Please if you can go to where McCain is speaking and wear Hillary Tee Shirts. Or if you can find them get a Dem for McCain tee shirt and wear them. Let the public and the media know we shall not forget this. Anyone in Kerrys district he is trying to stop a guy from getting on the ballot so if you are there vote for this guy against Kerry. Florida and Michigan we will speak and loud in the GE. Obama is saying he will reinstate us in full force, we honestly do not care as if he had given a crap about anyone except himself he would have done this a long time ago, not when he feels it benefits him. you have to read this…it mentions, Alegre, Riverdaughter, NoQuarter, etc…in other words, it’s about us…lol
How Clinton’s Supporters Might Be Obama’s Next Big Problem*
Wonderful, Pat!
PU-MA!
PU-MA!
PU-MA!
Great cartoon.
Now I’d like to see one of Donna Brazile when she was on CNN and said about Hillary Supporters:
“Of course they’ll vote for Obama in November. Where else will they go?”
That’s when I realized they took loyal Democrats for granted.
The Bluffing Is Over
With the high volume in Clinton supporters flock to McCain John McCain headquarters, just launched an official website for Dems for McCain. There is a part on there where it asks what
roll you took for the Clinton campaign.(703) 418-2008 ask for the dems for McCain team and talk to them, they will ask you if you would like to be on one of there ads and lists for McCain. They are going to make ads with Hillary supporters that are finished with
the Dems.
this might be a better link…try this…
How Clinton’s Supporters Might Be Obama’s Next Big Problem ….
It’s going to be hard for anyone, even Clinton herself, to bring her bloc back into the Democratic fold.

“It’s going to be hard for anyone, even Clinton herself, to bring her bloc back into the Democratic fold.”
Hard?
That’s a severly gross understatement.
How about damn near IMPOSSIBLE!
this might be a better link…try this…it mentions Alegre, NoQuarters, RiverDaughter etc..

The rumor is Kathlene Celibus is going to be Obama VP to appease the Women Voters…How dumb is this FUCK?
ead liberal sites such as Daily Kos, Clinton backers now gather at new watering holes, such as Hillary’s Bloggers, a site founded by a former Kos diarist named Alegre. And they express their emotions in the language of post-sixties identity politics, protesting categorical wrongs to their civil rights. The result is an Internet Hillaryland full of intense grievances and extraordinarily wishful thinking. “She’s not backing down because she doesn’t f%&*(ing have to,” Riverdaughter wrote last night at the Confluence. “Hillary Clinton made history tonight and nothing will ever be the same again.”
The most popular pro-Hillary sites are filled with venom for Obama, who is often sneeringly referred to as “Barky” or “messiah,” and an abiding bitterness toward the Democratic Party. At Taylor Marsh’s site, an epicenter for Clinton support, last weekend’s Rules and Bylaws Committee decisions sent commenters into apoplexy: “In Illinois, he eliminated the competition. In FL, he eliminated the voters. In MI, he stole the voters. Thank God, he is the hope and change candidate. Otherwise, how low would he go?” And: “It was bad enough when the Republicans started rigging the general. Now the DNC is rigging the primaries. What power do our votes have now?”
At its worst, the Clintonistas’ vehemence has turned downright scary. On May 30, Larry Johnson noted that the Secret Service was investigating two threats posted against Obama on his No Quarter site, and told his readers: “While I don’t believe Barack is qualified to be President, nothing justifies or warrants a death threat. Please play nice.” (The next day, Johnson’s fellow blogger Susan UnPC wrote, “John McCain is a stand-up man. But Barack Obama is a SNAKE IN THE GRASS who is using 1) BULLIES, 2) COERCIVE TACTICS, 3) the THREAT OF VIOLENCE, and 4) PROMISES OF BIG CASH INCOME to FORCE his nomination on the Democratic party.”)
RedDragin62; I am bemused at this term Clintonistas???
What like a certian picture on the wall of BO’s campaign office in Texas?
At this point, even a concession speech isn’t going to wash away the resentments and hopes at play among Hillary’s biggest believers, and Clinton shows no signs of giving one, anyway. The Clintonistas are ideologically committed and emotionally wounded — just the kind of voters who could withhold support from the Democratic nominee “on principle” in numbers big enough to threaten Obama in several key states. And there’s no way he wants to toss them the one sop that might mollify them — a Hillary vice-presidency. For months, we all wondered what African-Americans and young voters might do if superdelegates trumped them. Now we — and Obama — get to ask the same thing about white women. —Peter Keating
More Genius from Camp OBama
Lock in a majority of 12.5% of the electorate
And lose the majority of 51%.
FWIW:
Electing a woman president would have been real change.
Obama Change is nothing more than the same old marketing and hype.
LOL*…yes, indeed, I think a lot of the men in the political world are going to be watching this one and wondering.
Truth is that a lot of women have very long memories. They usually don’t make false threats, either.
Online, the Clintonistas’ passion, frustration, and refugee status have fused into an identification with their candidate fully as powerful as that of Obamafans. Mocked if not shunned at many widely read liberal sites such as Daily Kos, Clinton backers now gather at new watering holes, such as Hillary’s Bloggers, a site founded by a former Kos diarist named Alegre.

Sorry about the top part of this…it got cut off…here’s the first part of the story…
Hey, guys come on over and join the party at fox news………On The Record…….one of the hottest blogs around……
Full of new PUMA party…
http://www.foxnews.com/ontherecord/index.html
Of course, none of you gave a rat’s ass about either state until it looked like Clinton needed to change the rules to win. Which she didn’t. Deal with it.
Another BO supporter talking out of his butt.
I live in FL — you best beleive there are record numbers of FL DEMS pissed off at the DNC.
HRC made noise about, made a press release urging DNC to find a solution for FL & MI primary. Her press release was on 25-Jan before the primary on 29-Jan. She also urged other candidates to join her quest to find a fair result for both states.
But none of them gave a rat’s ass about it. She had been making noise, but no MSM gave a rat’s ass to report the story.
Dumb Obots who never think for themselves just bought the lies that their messiah gave. Just keep repeating it, it really suit a behavior of a robot.
Are you a PUMA?
Join the rebellion by Hillary supporters.

I like these paragraphs from the NY Mag article:
“All this virulence isn’t just Internet howling. It appears to be the leading edge of opposition to Obama’s candidacy: a mostly female, nearly all-white bloc that is growing in solidarity rather than receding at the end of the primary season.”
“The Clintonistas are ideologically committed and emotionally wounded — just the kind of voters who could withhold support from the Democratic nominee “on principle” in numbers big enough to threaten Obama in several key states.”
“For months, we all wondered what African-Americans and young voters might do if superdelegates trumped them. Now we — and Obama — get to ask the same thing about white women.”
LOL! I love it. They forget we boomers were the first to start grass-roots movements in the 60s and 70s.
There may be touches of white in our hair, but in our hearts we’re still 25 years old.
Never underestimate a boomer.
I knew you would love the article Susan…my eyes almost popped out of my head when I started reading it…These kids haven’t a clue…we all have been there, done that and know what a “movement” is all about…let the peons learn the hard way like we did….
Onward to November!
So true Patriot.
You go girl………..I just frost my hair…white woman from FLORIDA over 50 and I will die before I will give BO my vote…
Obama’s Official List of Forbidden Topics that Distract Us from The Real Issues:
1 – Calling Obama a “liberal”.
2 – Questioning his commitment to the War on Terror.
3 – His extremely liberal (breaking rule #1 already) social views.
4 – His interesting background in Chicago politics.
5 – His peculiar aversion to wearing an American flag pin. (BTW, he wants to be President of America.)
6 – He especially doesn’t want to be questioned about his many unusual friends and associates, like William Ayres.
7 – Anything to do with the differing accounts of his upbringing
This is my first time here and I am so glad to be in the company of people with brains….Fox news just posted an article saying the “big” Dems are wanting our Hillary to enthusiastically endorse OB, thought I was gonna puke!!!!!!!! They are leaving her NO choice but to stand behind this obnoxious idiot, and I for one feel she does not have to. I really wish she would defect to the GOP and run with McCain, and since he’s only going to be a 1 termer, she can be PR in 2012…just a thought….
Elaine dont give up YET…more bad news about Obama and His Wife are coming. Rezko is a criminalist, and Obama is His great Friend!!!!
I hope you are right. I have had a strong feeling for awhile now that there is something, maybe alot of somethings out there bad about him and they are going to come out, but my problem is I don’t think it’s going to benefit Hillary, because if it was it would have come out by now..I do believe the GOP has the goods on him and they are waiting till the end of October to let it loose, becuz if they did it now, Hillary would be the nominee and we all know Hill can beat McCain and they don’t want that… Here’s how much I dilike BO.. during the debates with Hillary I use to mute the tv when he talked, guess it didn’t make a difference anyways, SNL had it right, he just repeated Hillary’s answers with just a few changes and the hundreds of ummm’s to fill in the gaps…lol
An eloquent cartoon. The neither fair nor democratic conduct of DNC is a strange way to try to achieve unity.
Oh – no sooner does a new site called Hillary Cklinton Supporters for John McCain launch, the second post in the comments section is by a PAID OBAMABOT.
Get ready — these are the OBAMABOT TALKING POINTS designed to change the minds of Hillary Supporters. Don;t fall for it:
User Name Please, remember what’s at stake
Comments McCain will nominate the Supreme Court justice that will tip the scales and overturn Roe v. Wade.
McCain will keep sending our Soldiers and Marines to Iraq to fight and die in a war that never should’ve been waged in the first place.
McCain will extend the Bush tax cuts which are bankrupting this country and which benefit only the rich.
McCain will make sure national health care fails.
McCain will be exactly the same as four more years of George W. Bush.
I’m an Obama supporter, but I would’ve gladly supported Hillary if she’d won the nominating contest. She believes in many of the same things I believe in, and many of the things the majority of Americans believe in. So does Obama. Like Hillary, he comes from a modest background, went to good schools, and has worked his whole life to make life better for the people around him. That my candidate won actually makes me sad, because between two history-making candidates, only one of them can go on to the general election to knock the Republicans out of the White House.
It’s amazing how many people are involved in this election. This is truly no ordinary presidential contest.
http://www.hcsfjm.com/commments.html
I can’ help but think (and it does sound crazy) that when the Republicans stole the election, they tried to cover it up (I mean it was the least they could do right?). The DNC & RBC didn’t even do that – they tried to legitimize it. How could anybody feel good about that?
The Republicans did the same thing
Voting for Ibama for Ethical Change would be like screwing for Virginity.
Your guys disappointment/anger over your candidates loss has seriously clouded your judgement! Are you suggesting there should be no penalty for breaking the rules? Anybody who would vote to strip MI and FL of delegates (like Ickes), better be prepared to follow through, or else in 2012 EVERY state will move their primary without fear of punishment!
If I threaten my child with “If you don’t listen to me, you get no dessert!” and the child doesn’t listen. . . should I give in and let the kid have dessert???
What did Terry Mcauliff say about MI in 2004???
What did Hillary say about MI in 2008???
They’re in denial. For some reason the Republicans’ decision to split the delegates in half isn’t the same thing to them.
Are you folks serious? They made a GUESS at what Obama Would Have/ Could Have received and gave him those delegates! Stop your crazy talk!
no delegates from Hillary (IF)untill November, the fight is far from over. Hillary is not going anywere. She dont have to give Obama 1/2 of votes, no way!!!It is Her way(now, or no way! For 16 monts was Obama and His fanatics way
DNC steal votes from Hillary, now is time to get those votes back, or DNC will fell upart. That is fair play and only way!!!
Obama continues to be (except for GW BUSH) the most incompetent, crooked, spineless, and unqualified person running for president (with lousy judgment, too); THAT he can do nothing about.
obama is not a liberal . . . obama doesn’t have principles so he’s like play-do; his handlers can bend and shape him at will; he has no loyalty to anyone but himself and he’s a DANGER to America and the American people.
I am pretty healthy, no healing for me. No vote for Obama, no support for Obama, NO for Obama.
Yes for Hillary all the way. Mt advise to all Hillary supporters, stay were You are, no support for Obama, Hillary is not done The third part od this election is coming. Hillary will be back. True supporters and Friends will stay behind Hillary untill November. No rush, chill out!!!
Pat great picture!
Keep at it. There a dearth of materialto choose from eh?
Hey Pat: Another ‘right on target’ cartoon.
As a life-long Democrat and activist, I am so upset at Howard Dean. He has desroyed our party.
Under the Dem. rules, “Uncommitted” go to the convention Uncommitted. The Rules committee awarded the votes as Uncommitted to be given to Obama. This is a violation of the rules (speaking of Michigan).
The Sample ballot in Michigan says right on the ballot “Instructions: For the office of President, you may vote for candidate or you may vote “Uncommitted”…Write-In To vote for a candidate whose name is not printed on the ballot, write or place the name of that candidate
in the blank space provided …”
How could the Rules commitee break the rules?
Also, Obama advertised in a National TV buy that covered Florida, IN VIOLATION OF THE RULES. He should be SANCTIONED, according to the rules and GET NO DELEGATES FROM FLORIDA.
Zero Delegates from Mich and Florida for Obama as called for in the Rules.
The Rules committee and the Supreme Court are picking our leaders, not the voters.
That is HILarious!! And they are serious about the unity – duh, they own idiocy!
Can reasonable people here see that Michigan and FLorida was a total mess, and that it was not in fact fair to credit the delegates at full-strength according to the vote?
Sure, the outcome was unfortunate, but it was caused by FL and MI flouting the process, where the results were VERY CLEAR.
This is not an issue of voting rights; this is an issue of party rules that were seriously compromised by two states hoping to promote themselves above everyone else….
Reasonable disagreement anyone?
