Jesse Jackson compared it to OJ killing a white woman.

How terrible.

As bad as you think it is, I think it's worse. Here's my take on your comments:

BO supporters are still here for two reasons. First, they need to slow their opponents down. The more time spent in answering their "comments" the less time available to work towards thwarting their success.

Second, in answering their comments they keep the communication on their terms. The responses are to their statements and questions. This provides two-fold success:

... a) The responder is "stuck" trying to figure out why they don't understand logic, and simultaneously diverts needed brain power from developing ways to truly defeat them. In the worst case scenario, such as the 24/7 news propaganda the recipient of the information begins to think it's true.

... b) They get information they need. As we all know, information is power. Without knowing what is planned they are blind when planning to prevent it from public acceptance. They need an army of people reporting back what's being said in the blogosphere and elsewhere so they can have spin prepared in advance to stop the masses from knowing what's really happening.

Third, they will continue to attack Hillary. It's not just that they want her fundraisers. They need her negatives maintained in the public arena. If Hillary were viewed in a positive light, it's easier to expose Obama and have the public accept her as the nominee. He must be the sympathetic character, he must be the "anointed one."

Fourth, if I am right about all of the above they will prevent the first vote without Super Delegates from happening if they have to. They will wave their RBC wand as they did a week ago to accomplish this. Already yesterday Cafferty was ballistic that Clinton wasn't turning over all her delegates to Obama. Perhaps they'll find they can spin that effectively enough to have the public demand she do it. That's a tough one, but who knows?

Finally, while I agree with you that we have the voting power, I won't provide "them" with my thoughts on what obstacles and challenges we face in wielding it effectively from now through November. Nor am I willing to say what might work best against them. If this post has meaning to any who oppose Obama's quest for the Presidency I hope there's enough food for thought here for everyone to come up with their own ideas. And if they're good ones, I certainly would use a telephone and face-to-face meetings, not the internet, when developing a course for their implementation.

Did you see the reaction to her speech Tuesday night? It looked like time for a stroke when she didn't concede. You could see she and her family were totally enjoying themselves. Not only is she an amazingly strong women, she is smart enough to take it to them. It must have been real hard for Mr. Obama and his wife to go out on stage and smile and say nice things about the Clintons. I'm sure his whole campaign was mad as hell. Hillary will RISE like the phoenix.

TL22,

I agree country does come first and party second. That is the very reason I feel Obama is the best candidate,

I like your post about bitching and moaning. I implore you not to crawl back under your rock. We need you to remind us day after day why it is so important to stand steadfast for Hillary. If we give up our watch, you and your ilk will have jet another victory over democracy, moral standing and courage.

In the mean while you can read the rules of the Democratic Party and there you may discover that

1.The punishment of halving the votes of the Michigan and Florida delegates was against their own rules after both states showed good faith efforts to remedy the rule-braking by offering re-vote. It was your idol who prevented that, thus effectively ending any punishment.
2.The RBC had no authority to re-allocate the Michigan delegates. Hillary won 73 delegates, the rest was 'uncommitted'. 'Uncommitted' is recognized by the Democratic Party just like if it was a real person. It should have been left as such. There were a few delegates won by other candidates. How did those end up in BO's pocket?
3.BO took off his name from the ballot by his own political decision. It was a mistake that can not be fixed now.
4.If the delegates would have been allowed as they should, Hillary Clinton would have had the lead in pledged delegates.
5.Hillary won the popular vote. If I remember correctly, GW Bush lost the popular vote against Al Gore. If you were out of your diapers in 2000, you can remember the Democrat's outrage over that.
6.Against the rules of the Democratic Party, votes were cast in secret, after lunch and the proceedings were according to the results of those votes. There are references made to those votes. Donna Brazile said that “we had the votes”.... The rules don't allow secret voting. It has to be public. This makes the RBC decision invalid. Just like it never happened.

Hillary may be forced to support BO in the general election campaign. This is the ultimate humiliation of Hillary Clinton and her supporters as well.

The BO administration would be built on dead bodies (metaphorically speaking). GW Bush and Karl Rove has committed much fewer rapes on our democracy. They fixed only Florida.

Obama is a very dangerous man.

Our country, our democracy need our fighting spirit.

I'm having a hard time understanding why BO supporters are still here and spewing hate. Hillary's voters are the most important people in politics right now. McCain wants us. Obama wants us. We will decide this election so we have power. Where is your power? What can you do to change the outcome?

In November you will see a revolt that will turn the Democratic Party on it's head. Harriett Christian, Geraldine Ferraro and several million other women will make our voices heard. We are leaving the Party by the hundreds and taking our financial support with us. A report from Denver; The Convention Committee has raised only half of the forty million needed.

Obama wants Hillary's financial supporters too. Months and months of accusing Hillary of taking money from special interest groups and now he wants their help. The media and the DNC want Hillary to go away, but she has close to 2,000 delegates. They can't force her to release them and even if she does, they cannot force them to vote for Obama.

Their worst nightmare. The rules call for a first vote without superdelegates and he will not have the required number. No one can stop that. They will call for a vote by aclimation and they will not get that either because Hillary and her supporters have been called names and disrespcted. This isn't just about Hillary. It is about Geraldine Ferarro and every woman who is sick to death of Obama, the DNC and their supporters.

It is so clear some who are full of venom and arrogance know nothing about the real process. Why do you think they keep talking about party unity and Obama is saying nice things about Hillary and Bill Clinton? Makes me want to vomit.

I too can Google her civil rights record. I hate to tell you but a lot of her stuff are just speeches and points made in a debate. I admit it took guts to bring her friends to church. Depending on your view the DOMA is a slap in the face to gays and lesbians. She has never put forth a bill to formerly apologize for slavery, campaigning in Iowa she didn't talk about the proportional high imprisonment of blacks, she voted to loosen restrictions on wiretapping, she did not to my knowledge try to stop her husband's disastrous welfare reform. I will be fair Obama is guilty of the some of the same sins. I think it would be political suicide to address some of theses things. Hillary Clinton is a politician and acts as such. She criticizes inequality when it suits her but does little about it in the end. I don't think she is bad just human.

I would like your opinion on these links it has no bearing on the present conversation

By the way Digiones2008 I enjoy talking to you. We don't agree but it is interesting.

I still think the Sinclair story is reaching. The same type of crap has been put out against Bill Clinton- the Clinton Body Count, the death of Vince Foster. In fact some of the same arguments have been made about why the cases were hushed up. I think these were lies just as I think Sinclair is untrustworthy.

Jimmy

Let's say you wanted to play a joke on some influential politician too. Why don't you have a sworn affidavit submitted to a major urban city police department, where that politician lives and wields his greatest power.

Then have your attorney arrange to sit down with those in the police department who are investigating the murder. How likely do you think it is they'd spend 10 seconds to even set up a meeting with you?

But I digress. Now they take your sworn information and continue on their investigation. They assure your attorney you are not a target of the investigation, and state they will check the info provided.

Now let's also say some time passes and you and your attorney are not told the case is closed and your information had no value. You are not threatened with prosecution for making a false, sworn affidavit to the authorities.

How much of a joke are you now?

As to the others who have spoken with the CPD, you're correct. They haven't gone along with the joke and been willing to subject themselves to further stress by going public. Shame on them, right?

Have you seen the sworn affidavit submitted to the CPD? It's been posted.

Personally I think the politician should be grateful that everybody agrees there should be no publicity until the facts are fully documented.

Jimmy,

Ah, thanks for pointing me to the truth. I see what you mean. Bill Clinton's remark caused a majority of black voters to believe Hillary had been faking it all along in her speeches and actions like:

1962: met MLK Jr. preaching a sermon in Chicago. (Jul 2007)
1965: brought black classmates to all-white church. (Jul 2007)
Supports DOMA, which Bill Clinton signed. (Jul 2007)
We've come a long way on race, but we have a long way to go. (Jun 2007)
1995: Politely criticized China's human rights. (Jun 2007)
1988: Instituted gender diversity Report Card within ABA. (Jun 2007)
Developmental thread: tragedy of race must be made right. (Jun 2007)
Pushing for privacy bill of rights. (Jun 2006)
Argued with Bill Clinton about diluting affirmative action. (Oct 2005)
1972: Worked with Edelman on school desegregation in South. (Nov 2003)
Apologize for slavery, but concentrate on civil rights now. (Oct 2000)
Crack down on sex trafficking of women and girls. (Jan 2000)
Human rights are women’s rights. (Jan 2000)
Women’s rights are human rights. (Dec 1999)
Support National Endowment for the Arts. (Feb 1997)
Affirmative living: involve entire village against racism. (Sep 1996)
Sex selection, prostitution & war rape: human rights issues. (Sep 1995)

See, if you hadn't clarified things for me I'd be thinking the majority of black voters were thinking the way Sugar explained it.

I did some checking the only thing I can find about this story is from Larry Sinclair. This man is a joke. You are going to have show me something concrete and not from him. Didn't he fail a lie detector test. To me this equal to the Clinton body count rumor. Everything bad you hear is not true about the Clintons or Obama.

Sugar,

The Clinton's lost the black vote period by Bill Clinton's stupid remarks. That is why Hillary went to the State of the Black Union to mend fences.

excellent comment, tina. agree completely that the election is over - even before it began. the dnc, so-called party "leaders," and complicit media made sure of that by anointing mr unelectable.

we need to vote for mccain, though, rather than just stay home - to add 1 vote to the number obama will need to come up with and to send a loud and clear message to the party that their tactics have backfired.

i don't know that i trust him to, but i don't think he will do a total 180 and be against everything the democratic platform is about.

but i do KNOW and TRUST that john mccain and the gop will do what they do to uphold their platform, one i disagree with wholeheartedly.

thats one of the things that turned me off to obama, what has he done? what do we know about his ability to deliver? we don't. and i don't like that at all. i wanted hillary to be our nominee. but i turn to the bigger picture: what i don't like even more is what we DO know about the republicans and john mccain.

thats enough for me at this point.
