I believe the most recent hypnotic spell ocurred just after 9/11 when we invaded, bombed, stole, raped, occupied, tortued and killed for our leader–and he wasn’t even charismatic.

Why is following in the name of hope such a bad thing?

Jesus, Buddha, Mohammed and others also had a following. Maybe sometimes leaders are worth following. We will soon see.

What? I think this is entirely correct and not satirical at all.

Given the number of days he’s skipped at his current job as senator, and the number of “present” votes he racked up working in Chicago; the “honorary” titled jobs he’s had…

Obama really is a light worker. He doesn’t put forth a lot of effort at all into anything he’s hired or elected to…

Oh, “Lightworker” … well that’s different. I don’t see that at all.

In my opinion this writer is absolutely correct. Obama IS an extraordinary lightworker. Before January I had no idea who he was and probably would have voted for Senator Clinton in the election.

I started paying attention to the debates and eagerly watching primary results. Back in January on a Tuesday night while I sat in front of the TV my spirit guide said, “He is the one.” My spirit guide never speaks negatively and is NEVER wrong.

No, Obama is not the second coming of Christ, but he IS a special soul. Some knew this immediately. Some are learning it now. Some will never know and/or don’t care. Ignorance and apathy on your part does not make Senator Obama any less special.

You don’t have to love, like, or even vote for him, but don’t knock those that do. Have a blessed day!

I wondered. I read it a few times myself and read the comments. I thought bits were kinda “out there” but then other bits sounded awfully serious. So, I’m glad to see someone who knows his stuff comment here!

It sounds to me like the Frisco author is trying to say Obama is a messiah figure without saying that he is a Messiah. In other words, he’s “spiritual” instead of “religious”. I have a friend who’s atheistic, but claims to be spiritual–but he doesn’t believe in either gods or spirits. Then I’ve read blogs from Obama supporters who claim he thinks in a different way from regular politicians or just regular citizens, that he somehow transcends the ordinary person. I’ve never seen evidence presented to support such claims, though. I read where Oprah said he’s “highly evolved”, meaning spiritually of course. I understand that some people have tremendous charisma. Bill Clinton assuredly does, and I think Mike Huckabee does. I would vote, however, on what I think of their platforms, not on how likeable each guy is. I don’t understand the swoon over Obama, though. He’s very arrogant and self-assured to the point of hubris. I, like millions of others, think the adoration of his followers is cult-like, and people, especially youth, who fall for this are often those without a firm basis in a religious faith.

It is a relief that more people are seeing the cult aspect of Obama.

One of the things you will see in cult members is that they will believe anything their messiah says — and he can talk pure garbage — but they will repeat the garbage like it is from GOD.

Cult members can be made to do anything for their messiah — even kill themselves or others.

Some people seem to be immune — and that would be the strongly anti Obama folks we see here.

We see cult behavior from the trolls — they want us to believe in their messiah — because if EVERYONE believes then the world will be perfect — everyone will live in total harmony — the cult members really believe this.

Of course the cult is dominated by an authoritarian power hungry psychopath.

With Obama — he has these advisers who plan to rule their little piece of the empire. Everyone has a good game going — sucker the population — promise them anything.

Obama has been marketed — like a washing machine or a car or dish soap.

Obama is as phony as they come — he’s a con man. He figured out how to use the color of his skin to dupe the suckers. The biggest suckers of all have been the African Americans — Obama — a poor boy, raised by a single mom. He has a story for everyone.

The Obamabots keep coming — trying to convert the non-believers. The can go to HELL. (I sure hope there is a hell– because I’ve been telling a whole lot of idiots to go to hell lately.)
