Righteous Indignation Fully Described
By Uppity Woman on June 7, 2008 at 2:00 PM in Barack Obama, DNC, DoD, Donna Brazile, General Election, Misogyny, Sexism
I have read quite a few articles of Outrage since the deliberately sexist press and revoltingly smarmy Chosen thug candidate have heretofore succeeded in the Doing In of Hillary Clinton and the ongoing insulting onslaught upon her nearly 18,000,000 supporters that the party someone thinks they can win an election without. But nothing I have read describes the thoughts we harbor as well as Savage in his piece, Righteous Indignation.
As the threats and the insults continue, we are getting a glimpse of the intent to subjugate America’s blue collar workers, Senior Citizens, Jews, Latinos, White Women, and other groups that are no longer “of use” to the intended Marxist society. Donna Brazile proclaimed on National Television that the Democratic Party doesn’t need these voters any longer and they “can all stay home”. I am sure that is what she would like us all to do, but it is not what were are going to do. All the more reason to make certain that everyone who has been insulted, threatened or demeaned by the horror show we have witnessed in this Primary Fix votes against Barack Obama on November 4.
Much like the fear generated by the McGovern and Dukakis maniacs, only with the internet as a stark, recordable addition, the deliberate provocation of anyone who does not support Barack Obama is a good thing in the end. It ensures that the Incensed do not stay home on Election Day as Donna Brazile wishes. Being incensed, harassed and in fear always results in a healthy resistance vote.
In November, there will be no caucuses with busloads of threatening college kids terrorizing the opposition and deciding what the numbers will be. There will be no threats at the polls. Nobody will be able to stand next to you while you vote. There will be no taunting and fear. And vote you will. Just like the last times the whackjob fringe of the Democratic Party tried to threaten Americans into submission and chaos. I am grateful I have seen this play out before, because it confirms my resolve that the answer to Marxism in America will always be NO.
We can expect more harassment, insults and threats, and worse, once Hillary is forced to give her speech of “support” for Barack Obama today, for these are truly malicious followers. But in his typical delusionary Narcissist manner, Barack Obama imagines we will all fall into place. He imagines that women, for example, or Jews, or Latinos, or The Elderly do not recognize dangers to their freedom when they see it. Very well.
Savage says it all so well. So well, I really feel his work needs to be printed here in its entirety:
This entire election has been a sham. An almost comical farce in which the Mainstream Media, along with the ideological Left fringes within the Democratic Party have decided AHEAD OF TIME, who should become President of the United States. In this manner, and with full knowledge and intent, they have decided to re-write history, dismiss entire demographics, and besmirch the reputation of countless individuals, for the sake of political power and the ‘almighty dollar’. They have courted and laid with the ugly specter of sexism and anti-White racism, insulting the very same people who have literally fed them over the years, with their vast economic and moral support. As many of you may already know, Hillary Clinton has officially declared, via a letter to her supporters and to the Media, that she will suspend her campaign and endorse Barack Hussein Obama. This may seem like a very sad moment for a lot of her supporters, but it was nonetheless expected by many others (some even see it as a ’strategy for eventual victory’). The legacy of her husband’s Democratic presidency may simply be too large to casually overlook for the sake of a general election that she could probably never win as an independent. Will she serve better by running again in 4 years, after the hustler of Obama is defeated this November? The probability of this may be high, and for the sake of our Country, we should all pray that she only supports Obama with minimal effort if she wishes to somehow sustain her reputation among millions of her supporters. But this election is NOT about the Clintons’, it is about AMERICA. It is about SELF RESPECT.
ALL Americans must understand that the Media and the Democratic Party did not insult Hillary Clinton as a person, they insulted what she REPRESENTED to all of her supporters. They insulted her ‘CLASS’: White Women (and men) in particular, and Latinos in general. These two important groups were told by countless pundits that their power was minimal, that they did not matter in the “grand scheme of things”, that Latinos and Whites were being “racists” when they voted for a White woman by 60%, while they simultaneously characterized other groups (AA) who voted for Obama by 90% as “informed and motivated by the issues”. Many democratic insiders (Brazile et al) wrote columns in which they made the ridiculous case that Latinos and Whites were not as important as young and Black voters, and that “they can stay home” in November if they wish. Unfortunately for them, they seem to have overplayed their hand too far.
But African Americans were NOT spared from this lunacy either. They have been utilized by both entities (Media and Dems) as a hook and line joke, all aimed to besmirch their reputations as uninformed racists who only support Obama because of his pigmentation. They have done this by slowly convincing said community that they were somehow being attacked by White Clintonistas (soon to be McCainiacs!), who rabidly wanted to “take away” the nomination/presidency from the “Black man”. In response, they were easily duped into confirming what many White Americans suspected; that this election was going to be a referendum on race and not on policy. In other words, the Media has brought out the worst in African Americans to the surface for all to see, and have thus also encouraged the worst in the rest of America in response to them. All of it, in the name of “unity”, “change” and “hope”.
Today, we find that the Media’s objective has been realized, and that the utter marginalization of the real base of the Democratic Party has been firmly shoved aside. In return, said base is being offered the scraps of condescension and blind loyalty. After being spat upon by the countless sycophantic maniacs within the Barack Hussein Obama Campaign, they now want to visit and offer ‘roses and candy’. Almost paying homage to the Abused Wife Syndrome”, they wish to convince their counterparts that they will “never do it again” and even bluntly present the old fashioned “I can change” line, thinking that many of those who were the object of all of their hatred and scorn should now get on their knees and submit to their will. But I suggest that this time everything will be quite different.
The heart of this matter has been stabbed once to many times by the unscrupulous corporations that manhandle our populace. They now bluntly offer their victims a chance to accept their abusers back, all in the name of “the kids” or “the family”. What about the larger family (America)? What about dignity? What about honor? What about integrity? These things have always been alien to them, so don’t expect a straight answer.
Barack Hussein Obama is not a horrendous candidate BECAUSE of his skin color (some might say he is in spite of it), but race WAS and IS a factor in this election. Obama has become one of the most corrupting influences in our political/public life, exactly because of his race-baiting and dishonesty. The Media and the Democratic Party have basically insulted hundreds of years of struggle for racial solidarity and equality, by purposefully choosing the least capable Black man that they could have found within their own ranks, and have vested him with a credibility he never earned.
And now the last of the Democratic elites, the ones who had endorsed and supported Hillary Clinton all this time, are now ready to somehow pitch new arguments of why everyone should jump into Obama’s ship, even if they all disagree with his capacity and decency as a candidate (and even while it is slowly sinking). Does anyone else notice the stench of submission and servility fuming out of these individuals? If we ALL know that Obama is a bold faced liar, a thief, a sexist and a racist; does it really matter if he sells the idea of democratic policies which were not only thought out by someone else, but of which he has no power to enforce?
The anger of most Democrats who supported Clinton should be palpable today, and I submit that it will last until November. In stark contrast with Obama, McCain’s more than 30 year-long record of service to our Country has never accumulated so many ’stains’ as Obama’s own after a few years in the public eye. Of course, we all know that McCain is not the most honest man in public life (no politician is!), but in contrast with the Democrat’s now “presumptive” nominee, he is a saint. And that is the true travesty of this election, in which a mainstream party and their corporate Media have decided to pick a candidate that represents the worst that this Nation has to offer, all for the sake of “saving face”, and we are all expected to follow the cheese until we get snapped.
This election IS crucial, and it will deal with the heart and soul of this Nation. The error of following the party line behind an incompetent fool without any credentials has led us to 8 years of George W. Bush. Today, a minority of the Democratic base, along with their elite puppet masters, have chosen their own Politically Correct version of Bush and want everyone to fall in line so that he get elected. Ironically, I believe that it will indeed be the Democratic base (and independents) who will truly save this Country from the recent ignominious years of Presidential inexperience and arrogance. After all, it will be the newly formed coalition of Reagan (McCain?) Democrats who will thankfully negate the presidency to a man who truly represents 4 more years of foolishness and Bush-like egocentrics: Barack Hussein Obama.
Republicans did not listen to McCain’s pleads in the year 2000, when he told his supporters (and his party) that Bush’s rhetoric was complete nonsense and dangerously naive. But they FOOLISHLY did listen to his suggestions after he was defeated by Bush and was forced to concede and endorse him. Now, in an almost eerie similarity, many Democrats did not listen to Hillary Clinton when she warned them about Obama’s dangerous inexperience, and now they might be tempted to foolishly listen to her when she does her ‘walk of shame’ towards endorsing Obama. But history can not only change, IT HAS TO CHANGE.
Americans can not and will not follow the corrupting leadership of the Democrat’s Pied Piper. We are now at war, and I am not only referring to the one that we are engaging around the world against foreign enemies, but the one that we must all wage today to protect our homeland from those who wish to harm it from within. This reality cannot be escaped by any of us, and we have a responsibility and duty to fight it until the end. Barack Obama can not win the Presidency of the United States, unless we wish our Nation harm. The line has been drawn in the sand, and we are definitely staring into the heart of darkness that the radical left wing of the Democratic Party has in store for all of those who do not conform. They have already proven that their main objective is to bring a new era of anti-White racism, institutionalized sexism, self inflicted ignorance, reality-show messianic pretensions, and utter submission to corporate interests. For these reasons, I will NOT allow these people to achieve victory, for in their success we will all find our doom, and I expect many of you to follow my lead.
This is NOT about revenge, since most of us have no personal affinity towards Hillary Clinton, this is about HONOR. This election was NEVER about one politician over another, it has always been about symbolism. Barack Obama has proven, and our modern history has confirmed, that every single policy proposal that a politician makes while campaigning is in all true estimation IRRELEVANT to what he/she can actually achieve once he comes into office (don’t forget about the other two branches of government!). Therefore, the presidency is primarily a symbol of who we are as Americans and what values we hold dear. Obama OPENLY sells the glorification of empty change, false hopes, blatant inexperience (as if it were a virtue!), arrogance, and cultural elitism. John McCain OPENLY sells honor, patriotism, dignity, respect, humility, service, strength, and sacrifice (in his case LITERALLY). Even if we didn’t have a right to look “under the hood” of these candidacies, the RIGHT choice should be quite OBVIOUS.
In all of these issues the Democratic Party has failed it’s own members, and now it is time to teach the world a strong lesson about how true democracy works. The line HAS been drawn, and this war MUST be fought by all of us. Barack Hussein Obama, his corrupt Democratic lackeys, and their corporate media stooges CAN NOT be allowed to take control of our elections and freely choose our symbols. This November, we will save ALL of our citizens from making an even bigger mistake than the one made in the year 2000. This November, they will know the TRUE meaning of strength and dignity.

fabulous
Who could have dreamed that the dnc is actually the fifth column we’ve all heard about. I believe these marxists have made their move too soon. There are still people who remember the past. They should have waited to pull this stuff when the children they are bamboozling come of age. Our schools are so lacking in teaching kids in all areas that they will fall for anything as long as they can indulge themselves. Enemies from within are the most dangerous, as we are now finding out.
Just because I support Obama, hardly makes me an enemy from within. Are you now saying Senator Hilary Clinton is an enemy from within? You lost, get over it. Now you can either vote for McCain, which means you were never a Democrat, not vote, or vote for Obama, which is what Senator Clinton advises.
I’ve been a member of the Democratic Party since before you were even a twinkle, so say what you think you need to about anyone being a REAL Democratic member.
Republicans run his style of campaign, one reason (amoung many) that I’ve not been a Republican. But, hey, B.O. just brought my party down to a low that I never thought it could sink. And she hasn’t really lost, but if so, Sen. Clinton lost this primary election the same way other Democrats in years past have lost to Republicans in the General Election–slimy campaigning, media complicity, and just plain, old-fashioned voter manipulation. Thanks to B.O., I’m not so proud to be a Democrat these days.
First, and foremost, I am an American, and I will vote in the General Election for whomever I please, while I still have that option.
No thanks. Rather than get over it, I’ll try turning it into something productive.
And that means unseating the insider boyz who foisted this folly upon us.
Let’s just review what Marxism is about:
While there are many theoretical and practical differences among the various forms of Marxism, most forms of Marxism share:
> a belief that capitalism is based on the exploitation of workers by the owners of capital
> a belief that people’s consciousness of the conditions of their lives reflects the dominant ideology which is in turn shaped by material conditions and relations of production
> an understanding of class in terms of differing relations of production, and as a particular position within such relations
> an understanding of material conditions and social relations as historically malleable
> a view of history according to which class struggle, the evolving conflict between classes with opposing interests, structures each historical period and drives historical change
> a belief that this dialectical historical process will ultimately result in a replacement of the current class structure of society with a system that manages society for the good of all, resulting in the dissolution of the class structure and its support (more often than not including the nation state)
Now, assuming that you don’t consider “America’s blue collar workers, Senior Citizens, Jews, Latinos, White Women, and other groups” people, then your argument is fine.
If not, your argument is a fallacy.
Also good to note that Obama is not a Marxist, which renders your comments completely useless. Either way, you’re not making any sense whatsoever.
Well golly I just can’t wait! Where do I send my 401k??????
In other words, you are full of shit. I am not interested in the Marxism of Black Liberation Theology. And surely you DO know it is Marxist. If not, finish your brilliant research. And don’t tell me Barack Obama isn’t part and parcel to that believe. He made it part of his life for 20 years. Are we to believe he was just using that church? Just wondering.
How full of shit?
I mean, are we talking “Paid shill for McCain pretending to be a disgruntled Hillary Democrat” full of shit, or “Someone who actually supported Hillary Clinton and her policies which would increase the size of the government (i.e. universal health care) actually calling another Democratic candidate a Marxist” full of shit?
I was a democrat when you were pissing your diapers, you Maxist pissant. I remember people like you from other times and places and we stopped your type then and we will stop your type now.
Ah, so I take it nationalizing our health care system is only Marxist when a candidate you dislike endorses it.
But since I’m feeling like responding in kind to your insults, I’m now a Democrat, and you’re a Republican who’s pissing in your diapers. We stopped your type before and we’ll stop your type now.
Have fun spending your McCain Action Points on a brand new pony!
Obama’s health care plan is useless. I shows either a clear lack of understanding of the relationship between states and the Health Insurance Industry which owns the leglislators……or it’s a hoax. You pick.
And telling someone proudly that you will reduce the yearly cost of health insurance by $2500 shows a REAL lack of understanding of exactly how much a single pay health insurance policy costs. In my state, you would pay 2k Per Month for an family HMO policy that will surely let you die if you sign on and get sick. And that’s a fact. I can assure you that a family that can’t afford $24,000 a year can’t afford $21,500 a year. A single pay for a single person for that same policy is roughly $900 per month. Giving “incentives” to states is tanatamount to giving the health insurers another freebee, while they still raise the rates double digits to make up for the people barack Obama says don’t have to get insurance.
This is not universal health care. In fact, John Mccain will give me a $5k write off. Hell, I’m better of with his plan.
Barry’s so called plan pandered to the special interest groups backing him financially. Once you go all out for comprehensive health care you’re stuck - there’s no half way anymore. You’re either for it or against it. Edwards had to come out for it too. Barry’s so-called plan gave him leg room. It’s a reform - the ’same old same old’. And deliberately. It deliberately jerks the health care sector predators and also speaks to the somewhat wealthier (but nevertheless shit-for-brains) who resent others getting something free that they had to work hard for.
Above all: Barry’s so called plan is a carefully structured Axelrod campaign lie who told the New York Times long ago he couldn’t win on policies - only on monosyllabic slogans like ‘change’ and ‘hope’ and only by making sure you can’t pin his candidate down to any specific proposals.
Offering a ‘reform’ is the same old same old. The US remains the only country in the entire blithering western world without comprehensive essentially free health and social care and Barry is offering ‘reform’?
Want someone to top off that beaker of Kool-Aid you got there?
Agree. In fact, Obama’s plan is disastrous for CA. Our problem is the uninsured illegal immigrants. His plan leaves them out.
But I still think that his plan is not even legal. He has a clause forcing parents to purchase the insurance for children. I believe it’ll be tossed out due to unfair discrimination.
You’re NOW a Democrat? What the hell were you before? If you knew your history you’d be aware that the Democrats have only “stopped” the Republicans three times in the last forty plus years and two of those times it was Bill Clinton. WHY? Because they keep putting up weak ass candidates like Hope a dope. That’s why I’m NOW an Independent voting for McCain.
Obama’s health care plan is universal…If you’re going to use that reason to say that we should vote for Obama, it’s not going to work.
And even if his plan is universal, should I trust him to keep his promise? Didn’t his foreign policy advisor and his economics advisor said they were just rhetoric?
Obama’s health care plan is universal
No it is not, shit for brains.
I pray you are right Uppity. I really want you to be right about this. We cannot afford this fraud to get into the WH. It will be our demise and I would suspect that we will see rioting in the streets if he does not get it and if he does get in. There will be great civil unrest that we’ve not seen since the l960s. Watts all over again only multiply ad infinitum.
Send your 401(k) to McCain, and he’ll make sure it’s wasted on invading more countries and killing more of our soldiers, meanwhile making the US Stock Market (which supports your 401(k)) TANK. If you’re gonna throw your money down the toilet, it’s probably better to do it now and get it over with.
Even if Trinity is Marxist (which it isn’t), it would not mean Obama is a Marxist.
Many Catholics are pro-choice and use contraception.
None of Obama’s policies are Marxist.
He doesn’t even support something mild like a single payer health care system which Canada has even with a conservative government.
GO HOME, TWIT.
look tard…take your silly self outside to the freeway and go play
Damn straight.

Apropos handle.
Aw, isn’t it sad? Pampers Ovomit’s brownshirts are running around with their hair on fire screaming because we won’t ride the Unity Pony with them. Why would an American who believes in democracy ever back Ovomit, or stand shoulder to shoulder with a throng of fascist buttwipes? Not this Jew boy.
Had the RBC sat MI and FL at full strength, and fair reflection, Senator Clinton would not only ended the primaries as the popular vote leader, but as the pledged delgate leader as well.
This coup d’etat will not stand.
If his candidacy survives the summer (then we could honestly say Ovomit performed a miracle), it will be my esteemed pleasure to vote against him for a second time, and bring down the Stalinists at the DNC. In fact, I’ll throw a party.
Shutey
Yeah! Amen!
A double amen from us!!!
This is a stolen election and I can’t believe that I actually did not see Taylor Marsh refer to this.
I think that one line drawn has to do with who does and who does not recognize this theft.
No matter what comes out about Obama in the next 10 weeks, what we all needed to abandon the Dem Party was on parade with the DNC ’s RBC and their public (and behind closed doors) hijacking of this election.
I had to stop visiting TM’s blog and just stick with No Quarter now.
Right on! They do say he is the ONE…so a miracle will be no problem, yes? They will need all 18 million of them.
There is no unity. There is no pony. It’s all fake.
Obama will throw those suckers under the bus one day. He’s for you until he’s against you.
Actually Obambi is only for Obambi… anyone else he uses and abuses until “….um um um, they are not the person I knew.” Can’t wait to see the mega-bus he will need when all his supporters get the finger.
Had the RBC sat MI and FL at full strength, and fair reflection, Senator Clinton would not only ended the primaries as the popular vote leader, but as the pledged delgate leader as well.
This is true? Got a link? I’d love to see published stats about this.
read all about it at the Confluence. I trust Riverdaughter’s analysis of the numbers.

Pampers Ovomit’s brownshirts are running around with their hair on fire screaming because we won’t ride the Unity Pony with them.
Yeah like when they’re in COLLEGE and they want you to send more money.
Good to see you here Shtuey. This Jew girl agrees with you 100%
missbehavinmaven, you naughty Jew girl you!
I second that amen
Idiot Howie Dean just sent a “unity” email.
I responded — with my usual nasty responses.
Then I thought of more nasty responses and sent another email.
I think I’ll keep responding — I wonder what would happen if we ALL responded and kept responding to this “unity” email.
OBAMA — go to hell — you racist, chauvinist pig.
Oh — you dimwitted trolls still wearing diapers — go to hell as well.
It truly feels like they are trying to kidnap us at gunpoint. I lived far too long with a bratty f**ing teenager who thought he was entitled to the world and then some. I don’t take kindly to these vicious children. Their problem is they’ve been handed everything on a high-tech platter. They never know their boundaries and never stop to think that others have lives that MUST be respected.
Our very way of life is being threatened by these bunch of bullies. It isn’t going to stop. Hillary has closed down her campaign and you should all go over to that idiot Huffington Post to read what they are saying about her over there. They have no grace! They can’t say one good thing about her eve now, even after she put her full weight behind that disgusting anti-white,anti-semitic brat of a presumptive candidate Barack Hussein Obama.
I am truly torn. I feel the pain as a Hillary supporter. At the same time, I was proud of my candidate as she gave a profoundly historical speech. To clarify, I have always been proud of Hillary. I just have mixed feelings about all the infighting. I am educated and well informed (yes, a Hillary supporter). I understand what is at stake, and I understand the difference between a Republican or a Democrat in the White House. Yet, I cannot forgive that the so-called party leaders did not speak out sooner against the blatant sexist attacks and misogyny that was largely perpetrated and promoted by the MSM and Obama supporters/surrogates.
Hillary’s speech was truly moving, inspiring. I AM ONE OF 18 MILLION. Although, I can appreciate why Hillary has endorsed Obama, I do not have to follow. This is now bigger than her. This party use to stand for something. I see no evidence of that, when the party decides to meet in secret and votes to ignore the “fair reflection” of the will of the people.
Nonetheless, Hillary has won more votes, 18 MILLION, than anyone ever running for President. She is the first woman to win a major primary and she started a movement. Yes, a movement. Women have taken notice to the latent misogyny that was let out of the gate like a race horse. No more. WE ARE MAS AS HELL, AND WE ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!
My vote counts as a full vote, not this half nonsense. To Howard, Donna, Nancy, and Reid, I say goodbye. Never felt so good to leave.
I never believed Hillary was entitled to the presidency. However, she was deserving of fair and civilized treatment.
To Howard, Donna, Nancy, and Reid, I say goodbye. Never felt so good to leave.
They’re pathetic losers and they have to go.
RESIST!
Well, I went to McCain’s site to let them know I am coming over, and Clinton supporters are deluging the blog! Wow! I think this may be the most historical election ever when hard party lines keeping us from the Republicans dissolved as a result of the DNC going nuts. Amazing.
Here’s a good thread to see what’s going on there.
John McCain Blog: Path to Victory
[Give it time - servers are a bit weak yet. There must be a lot of Obama haters hitting it hard.]
Somehow, I don’t think this was the Change Obama was Hoping for.
Yes, I went there too! All Clinton forums are on the move. I donated too. I’m soooo glad that millions of us are uniting against the DNC and the candidate they selected (Obama did not win an election). I’ve also joined PUMA “Party Unity My Ass.” I love it! I’ll campaign just as hard as I can for McCain, our war hero!
Well said. WAKE UP AMERICA !!!
Just to clarify…Not persuaded to vote for Obama. I also meant to write, MAD AS HELL, AND NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!
ONE OF 18 MILLION, I like the sound of it.
I really really REALLY like that graphic..
Simple. Says it all.
There is no tape.
It does not exist.
Goodbye.
It should have been unity pony’s ass giving a concession speech instead of Hillary. If he really wanted to do the “Wright” thing. The reason the trolls are still screwing with everyone on all the blogs is they know the tape exists and they have been instructed to let the LightMaster know when and if it appears so they can get ready to defunk it.
If we all settle down and do an honest review, I think we’ll see that the demise of the current dem party leadership is long overdue. We gave them more power in Congress in the last election - and what did they do with it? No good of significance.
We gave them backing with MoveOn in the last Presidential race and what did they do with it? Used it to steamroll Hillary out with their bankroll and volunteers given to her unqualiied, disreputable opponent on a silver platter.
We gave them Congressional seats and Super Delegate power in the primaries of our party. And what did they do with it? Use it to sell out to obama’s war chest and turn the tide of the voters, by turning their Super Delegate powers against the clear Will of the People.
We gave them our trust to organize a fair selection practice and what did they do with it? Used it to fractionalize our voting power, not only with paid off power driven Super Delegates, but as an insurance policy they took out in advance, fixing the selection process with non-representational caucuses.
We put them in charge of a schedule for primaries and what did they do with it? Stacked the deck with early caucuses where fraudulent ‘voters’ reigned supreme - while they sold out the early votes of FLA & MI at less than 50% value, with no plausible explanation for this primary schedule - except to exclaim they need to stay ‘in control” of the process.
We still worked hard for said party by sacrificing our time, money and personal lives to work for a qualified candidate, and what did they do with it? Ignored a historic voter turn out for this candidate, disparaged and bullied both her, the million or more who worked for her votes along with the 18 million who voted for her.
We carried on, in spite of all this, and wrote letters, by the tens of thousands to those left in power of our non-democratic process and what did they do with them? They wrote an occasional abusive response and otherwise pretended they never received them.
We asked for support in the use of free air time, as guaranteed by the FCC, to observe discussion of issues and respectful, equal representation by the candidates and what did they do about that? They hid under a rock and only came out when their pre-selected candidate was given any scrutiny.
In view of all this, what do we ask for now? Absolutely nothing. We now take the reins for ourselves and admit what was once the democratic party is no more. Certainly not under its current leadership. Certainly not in view of its arrogant indifference to the voters and volunteers and donors who have kept it alive. We would ask to be left alone but we know that request will be no more respected than any other we’ve made.
So, we prepare ourselves to be beleaguered, threatened, reviled and bullied in alternate waves of pleas, implausible arguments, MSM brainwashing campaigns and false promises - if only we will stick around and participate in a group that has contempt for us, through and through.
Best to set our sites now on ignoring the assault yet to come, and to use our energy, instead, to seek out and find alternative ways of standing up for democracy and supporting candidates who better represent our ideals and value.
We will survive. We are even more motivated than ever to thrive. And the party we knew, worked for and trusted will reach its dark demise with the help of obama and friends.
Good. Good. But I still don’t see what they intend to gain.
I read several reports about obama’s database and his financing machine. It is all about the money, it is all about the voter information he has on everyone who visited his sites and campaign offics and divulged information about themselves from phone numbers to age and history.
They don’t care if they win the top office.
They can use the voter records and put anyone they want into congressional, senate, mayoral races etc. It is the nu-party they want.
They did it by having uncommitted delegates make a pact to not endorse Hillary at the convention.
The electability arguement is meaningless to them.
They then put pressure on her to GET OUT NOW.
They are handing it to McCain, they don’t care.
Another interesting story I read about railroading was from a potential delegate to the convention in Montana. They required a pledge that if elected as a delegate the person could not publicly support or campaign for any other candidate for President or Vice-President other than the nominess of the DNC.
So Hillary delegates to the convention end up having to support obama if they chose him at the convention. It is locked in.
What the hell is going on? This might explain it.
Pity, I bought it for so many years.
Now I know why people don’t bother to vote.
Well said and yes, the DNC is clutching defeat out of the mouth of victory again. Leave it to the losers of seven out of the last ten presidential elections to blow this one too.
I realized I was in an abusive relationship about five months ago and promised I’d walk out if things didn’t change. Well things changed - for the worse.
Good bye and good riddance to the Democratic party. I just donated to McCain and I’ll blog and donate throughout this election until that poor excuse for a candidate going against him is run out on a rail.
The dems did absolutely nothing after getting into power. They don’t deserve a win in November!
Yes they did; they managed to get an approval rate even lower than Bush’s.
BRAVO BRAVO
No better words choosen. To all the people that tried to infect our minds with this BS. I say to you, take another guess. We will NOT vote for Obama
You want us to come together,,,only in your dreams.
We are not in Chicago and do not run in fear when one of you try to ram this crap at us or try to corner us up as you did to Senator Leibermann. Money will not buy our votes.
People will “wake up” as Mischelle says about the Blacks” I do NOT think the Blacks are that stupid, when they wake up they will back away
wake up barack and mischelle get out of our America
Clinton Supporter All The Way!!! Will vote John McCain!
The Women who have supported Hillary in THIS campaign need to abandon the DNC in DROVES! Just like the DNC abandoned them.
Women having been doing what they’ve always done in life, in politics, for a long time…supporting. The DNC made a bet this time around, that if they did what was the RIGHT thing to do….which was go with the most electable candidate, Hillary….they would alienate the black voters for Obama. They have gambled that the fallout from throwing Women under the bus will be less. Afterall, when was the last time you saw bands of women riot in the streets, breaking windows, or pulling people out of passing cars?
WOMEN need to hold the DNC accountable for playing them in a political gamble. And they need to do that by voting for the DNC’s opposition. Women have to make this gamble ACTUALLY COST THEM SOMETHING.
Women have been ASKING the DNC to respect them…..They MUST DEMAND it. The Power to make that happen is in THEIR VOTE.
No DNC Ho No Mo!!
we don’t have to riot in the streets to make our point…we can send our message loud and clear in the quiet confines of the voting booth.
I do hope some protest will happen during the convention, because playing nice will not get any media attention. This party is so corrupt; it is shameless. Hillary can’t say anything, but People who lost their votes should just take it.
OT, but I have a question.
Now, by this question I’m not implying anything about obama’s character but considering his Chicago connections it has to be asked.
What happens if a party’s nominee is indicted? Does the party get a do-over or what?
Bambi is not the candidate till the convention, if indicted prior to the convention, he is toast, indicted after the convention and Obama is the candidate of the DNP, he is toast and still the nominee for the DNP for POTUS!
To indict Barry you have to get shit to throw on him. I think the FBI in Chicago are probably formidable but getting TR is one thing and getting the mayor or someone close to him is another. TR didn’t hold political office. He was a profiteer, not the boss. The boss has too much clout.
The USA that indicted Rezko is Patrick Fitzgerald, the same one that brought Scooter Libby to justice, until Bush let him off the hook. He is not going to stop with Rezko. If and, I say if, obama’s hands are dirty, I wouldn’t want to be him.
Fitz is going after Blago next. The Chicago papers today had a story about them getting together a plan to impeach him - so he isn’t in office when the indictment - which they all expect to come fairly soon - is handed down.
It will take 50 votes impeach - they expect Emil Jones - to try to sway them to not do it.
Whether they impeach soon or wait a few weeks till he gets the indictment - I’m happy.
Just hope they do it before August…
Good thing they can’t buy FITGERALD!
The links are on Rezkowatch.
Getting hot for all of ob’s friends lately.
Another interesting link is about a letter from the Gay community to Ob, they are pretty mad about Meeks remarks and want him to throw his superdelegate under the bus.
That’s 2 supers he’ll lose.
OK?
From obama supporters answering complaints by Clinton supporters about the shennagians pulled at the caucuses, the nominating procedure isn’t subject to Constitutional rules. To me this means that they (the delegates) could have a do over and nominate or draft some one else to run.
well if you look at the dnc’s website…he’s already the nominee. also check out how they have a miniature hillary with the words thank you next to her. everything about their actions and decisions have shown them pushing HRC to the side out of view. these people are pricks! every last one of them.
Condescending assholes. Pat the little woman on the head and tell her to step aside like politics is “man’s work”. I would love to know why Emily’s List, NARAL, and other progressive women’s organizations think supporting Obama will help their causes. Supporting Obama is nothing more than business as usual–keep the highly qualified woman handy to either blame for the mess Obama will make or let her clean it up and then give Obama credit for her brilliance.
I will never forgive the DNC for this, and any organization that backs Obama best not ask me for money. One word to the wise for McCain, though–he best keep the Clinton haters out of my sight because right now I am one pissed off person and don’t intend to take any crap off of either side.
what you have to ask yourself…
with the DNC a co-consirator in stealing votes from americans how much further will they go to pull strings to stop an indictment of “their” nominee?
no doubt Obama has been claiming to be the nominee for the last few months hoping that that will save him from the FBI knocking on his door…
Bush of course has shown that if one has the power, one can fire federal prosecuters in order to save his cronies from going to jail… much cleaner and quicker than having to pardon a crony, no?
so of course Obama must no doubt have a list of potential pardons and already be looking at who is going to get fired at the justice department etc etc…

Bush and his assorted minions of evil couldn’t stop Patrick Fitzgerald going after Libby, what makes you think someone as ineffectual as Harry or Nancy could. Hypothetically speaking of course.
But Fitzgerald should have *gotten* more than Libby. I would’t hold out any hopes in that direction.
Uppity,
They already started registering dead people and pets, too:

Check what I wrote above…
This fits that too. He is gathering all these fake voter registrations to make the DNC members think they have real huge numbers of new voters in his database that he is using as a bribe.
It isn’t even real. The joke is on the DNC for their coup!
This needs all the ends tied together and a few missing puzzle pieces, but by jove I think we got it.
They are sooooo screwing themselves. The REAL voter have started to mass mutiny!
He sold it to them, what a con man and what traitors they are.
If Obama is the ‘president’, they will Kill The World.
We have to prevent this from occurring.
By voting out of Islamic Hussein Obama and putting Hillary as the Democratic president nominee, we are in fact is saving the world from destruction by all these Islamic fanatics.
All the Obama supporters and medias suck.
We Kill The World
he is not islamist…
he is just a corrupt sleazy greedy politics as usual vote stealing ignorant scumbag…
he is worse than Bush because at least Bush knows he is stupid…

I disagree….90 percent of Obama’s associations are with pro-islamic factions or terrorist sympathizers - let’s see Rezko, Soros, Khalisi, Auchi, Meeks, Zbrezinski, Malley, Wright, Farrakhan….look at Obama’s book where he says he will side with the arabs should the political winds turn against them. He also thinks the most beautiful sound on the earth is the Islamic call to prayer at sunset.
fair enough… i don’t agree, i think he is just posturing to try and attract their votes… but hey i respect your opinion…
i just think he is a corrupt vote stealing sleazy politics as usual scumbag…

How Many Rights Are Democrats Willing to Forfeit?
The Fifth Column Frank Salvato, Managing Editor
June 6, 2008
With the announcement that Hillary Clinton is abandoning her quest for the Oval Office the Democrat National Committee (DNC) – and specifically the DNC’s Rules and Bylaws Committee – has effectively selected the candidate for their party. I say selected because, by construct, the decision making process was taken away from the party faithful and placed in the hands of an elitist class of party insiders. These party insiders – superdelegates and the DNC Executive Committee – have literally usurped the will of the people by marginalizing the popular vote in deference to manipulated vote worth and their own self-importance.
The right to vote – the right to have our votes count – is the fundamental bedrock of our Constitutional Republic. It is through this fundamental right, this Constitutional Right, that We the People affect our control over government. Through our ballot choices we select delegates to the Electoral College who represent our amassed votes. These delegates, in turn, vote for the President of the United States. This process serves as a safeguard against mob rule and the bad choices to which emotionalism can lead. The Framers were brilliant in this respect.
Party politics is a bit different, although it has been based on this model in the past.
Through the primary process the electorate selects delegates to represent them at the party conventions. These delegates, representing the will of the people and bound to the victorious candidate in each respective state – at least in the first round of voting – then cast their votes for their party’s presidential nominee. At least that’s how it is supposed to work.
Enter the superdelegate.
In 1982, the Hunt Commission recommended to the DNC a rule that set aside delegate slots for select congressional Democrats and state party chairs and vice chairs. Ironically, the commission felt that by empowering an elitist class of delegate they would safeguard the process from being manipulated by the party leadership.
In 1988 the category of superdelegate ballooned to include all Democrat governors and DNC committee members. In 1992 additional superdelegate slots were allocated to the states to cover party leaders and elected officials not covered by previous definitions. And in 1996 each Democrat member of Congress was awarded superdelegate status. At the August 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, superdelegates will make up approximately one-fifth of the total number of delegates. Please keep in mind that these superdelegates were not elected by the people to represent anything at the party convention.
Enter the DNC Executive Committee under Howard Dean; the über elitists of the DNC.
During the 2008 primary election cycle the DNC Executive Committee penalized the states of Michigan and Florida for executing their primaries before the committee said it could execute them. Initially, both of these states were to lose their delegates to the convention and have their state’s vote totals ignored. As we all know, the DNC’s Rules and Bylaws Committee voted last week to allow the Michigan and Florida delegates to be seated but in doing so devalued their votes to only half that of the other states’ delegates.
These initial and subsequent decisions by the DNC and the DNC’s Rules and Bylaws Committee have resulted in Hillary Clinton having received a majority of the popular vote and Barack Obama receiving an adjusted majority of the delegates.
Further, without the role of the superdelegates neither of the candidates would have attained an unbeatable number of delegates for the nominating process at the convention, thus creating the need for an open convention, a convention where the candidates would literally have to court each vote from each delegate.
By manipulating the worth of the votes that will be cast by the Florida and Michigan delegates and by the existence of superdelegates to the weight of 20% of the total vote, the DNC under Howard Dean has literally selected their party’s candidate over the will of the Democrat populace, evidenced by the total popular vote.
This is astounding.
The very idea of the “superdelegate” (and yes, the GOP has them as well but in vastly smaller numbers) lends itself to the Socialist dogma of the elitist class; a class of government official and politician that knows better what is good for the party – for the nation – than those they would govern. Regardless of the fact that these superdelegates were elected at one point, they were elected to do a much different job then that of electing a candidate to represent the party. In essence, they represent the party and not the proletariat…I mean party members.
Then there is the decision by the DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee that literally resurrected the concept of a human’s worth being just three-fifths (in this case one-half) the worth of another. By slashing the value of the Florida and Michigan delegates’ votes the DNC has literally told the voters in Michigan and Florida that they – politically – are worth half that of the voters in every other state. It matters not that these Florida and Michigan Democrats have donated hard-earned money to the party, money that the party willingly took and spent. It matters not that honest and hardworking Florida and Michigan Democrats knocked on doors, put up yard signs, got petitions signed, etc. The Florida and Michigan Democrat organizations usurped the authority of Howard Dean and the voters are to be punished for it.
Perhaps I am being too literal here, too beholden to our rights as they are afforded under the US Constitution, maybe I adhere to the reality that our country is governed by We the People and not a group of elitists who want to emulate the Socialist class system of government, but it seems to me that the DNC hierarchy is disenfranchising their own party members. It seems to me that from the DNC’s refusal to “count every vote” and their refusal to recognize the one-man-one-vote system of representative government we embrace in this country they are refusing to recognize each citizen’s right to vote; each citizen’s right of governmental oversight. In essence, the DNC has stolen this election from their own party members by commandeering the candidate selection process. Talk about affirmative action!
All this said, two questions stand out as questions each and every Democrat must ask themselves as they head into this election: What other constitutional rights are you willing to forfeit? And what other constitutional rights is the DNC preparing to deny?

I don’t know about you, but I expect gas prices to go even higher, food prices to continue upward, people to die every day, and the government to suck just as much as it always has. Those things worry me a lot more than complete strangers on the intranetz getting into flame wars over Hillary and Obama.
It’s a joy to see people who have their priorities straight.
I firmly think Americans deserves Huckabee. I was against him at first, but people are convincing me they really did deserve Huckabee.
Barack Obama isn’t capable of doing anything about gas prices or anything else. he’s a fraud. A media creation, just like Bush was, only at least Bush admitted it. Barack Obama is Dumbo Bush’s flip side of the coin. About the only thing he’s good for is helping out middle eastern thievesd in exchange for their contributions.
We all need to stick together as Americans and do the very best things for OUR county. This is not about electing a particular party. The most dangerous thing for this county at this time in history is electing Obama. It’s not about the political party he represent but what he believes. Read as much as you can about Black Liberation Theology(Trinity Church doctrine) and if this does not scare you, nothing will.
The biggest insult is the Democrats pushing Obama as a viable Hillary substitute. Even Hillary is saying it their policies are not that difference. Unfortunately, there’s a lot of difference of character between Hillary and Obama. And good policies are achieved by President with strong character not just by any politicians who pander with sweet promises, while throwing people with liabilities under the bus for their ambition.
The biggest insult was that SOB playing golf while Hillary was paraded before the nation. Once again she showed why she should be the nominee, instead of that arrogant prick.
That doesn’t bother me. Who cares? He can watch it anytime.
Here is my take on Obama the Marxist.
I call it CheBama. Someone on his staff evidently thinks Obama should have the image of Che, and I say that is sooo fitting…
Since I can’t copy the image here, visit my blog for a view…. http://nobho.blogspot.com/ …..
The DNC “NEVER” really cared about any of us! They only worship the almighty dollar. This is who “THEY” answer to. Not you or I. Never have, never will! The only way we can take back the party many of us fought so hard for, the party many of us worked and suffered for is to stop the flow of dollars!
It amazes me when I see all these “TROLLS” wander in here and ask us to ride the Unity Poney out of one side of their mouth, then when they do not get what they want, they attack! Seems schizophrenic if you ask me. What I DO want to know is, where were they when the Iraq War started? Where were they when the RePugs slammed in those Conservative judges? ( You know, over the whimpering of OUR democratic representatives). Where was their “OUTRAGE” when Bush and his cronies outed a CIA “UNDERCOVER” operative? Where where they when Gonzales fired those DA’s for political reasons? Where were they when those speculaters decided to RAPE the American People at the Gas Pump? Where were they when a “WOMAN” was being verbally assaulted on our “AIRWAVES” daily? Where were they when their candidate decided to use the “RACE CARD” against Bill Clinton and Hillary in South Carolina?
I realize we have to Accept that our DNC is a corrupt institution! i get that. But WE do not have to LIVE with it! We do not have to Accept the Man they are forcing us to vote for. We do not have to accept Racial politics! We do not have to accept Sexism! We dont dont have to accept anything these people tell us! We refuse to Drink the Kool-Aid! We refuse to smoke the Hopium! We refuse to follow them, like Lemmings over the cliff!
We will not be told to kiss and make up! we will no longer allow anyone to humiliate women! we will not be told to look the other way whaen someone is burglarizing our Home!! Don’t come here and tell us we are NOT DEMOCRATES! You don’t know shit about us! you have no idea WHO we are! We are the people that cook your meals, fix your roads, build your homes, bring you electricity on those wires you want to hang us from!
We are the ones who watch your kids, clean your floors, pick up your trash!
We are the ones who fight the Wars and we are the ones who die for you!
We are the ones who marched with King and cried with the Kennedy’s. We are the ones who sent man to the moon and explored the deep oceans!
We are the ones who fought for a Woman’s right to choose and we are the ones helped to build this thing you call Democracy!
We AR Democrates. We did not come out yesterday. We are the ones that were called traitors for speaking out against the abuses of Bush!
Don’t you EVER call me a republican! I am an American FIRST! A Democrate second and I WILL NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA, no matter how much you beg, promise and insult us. You can call me a racist all you want. But if standing up for what I believe is racism, than I guess that is what I am! I am sorry you feel the need to come here and laugh, insult and generally be confused as to why we feel this way, but we ARE the Democratic Party, we built it and now we will help to Destroy it!
WE WILL NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA!
Clinton Supporter All The Way!!! Will vote John McCain!

I could not agree more.
The Democratic Party showed no loyalty to us or the Clintons, but now have the brass to demand Our Loyalty?
Just say NOBAMA!
I was a Hillary supporter, and although I am peed about how the party and media failed her, and annointed idiot Obama, I am not voting for McCain out of spite. I am voting for McCain because he will be a much better president than Obambi.
The US needs someone with more experience than “Community Organizer”. Obama has shown he can register voters. That hardly qualifies him for the toughest job on the planet.
Great commentary, Uppity. I have been blown away by the great writing here…but especially today! We’re not going anywhere. Who has the friend that made “Hillary, Democrat with a Spine” for us? We need a shirt that reads “1 of the 18,000,000″.
I like what the section in quotes implies. A vote for McCain in 2008 is a vote for Hillary in 2012.
Uppity: Thank you so so much for this post. I have just now had a chance to read your writing as well as J. Cifre’s analysis at Savage Politics and both are absoluely outstanding. Thank You. I am extremely impressed. If there is something that is as true as Hillary is it is teh quality of intellect and level of discourse of her supporters on these blogs. Day and night with all those other trashy and pathetic ones that can only resort to vulgarity, lies and insults because they have neither the intellect nor the arguments to make a point.
Thank you again for the article. It has been like breathing pure oxygen in a day full of smog.
One request: I love the image. Do you know how/what to do so that that image
can be made into an 8 x 11″ poster to plaster around? I really would like to have a bunch but have no idea how to do this; and I guess we would need permission from its author.
Could you let me now?
Thanks again Uppity.
Uppity - Fantastic article. Thanks for sharing it with us!
wow. i can’t believe i just found this site (sight)! i feel like i’ve been battling at 10 to 1 odds out there on Politico, etc.. What a relief to find the Calvary. Great to meet you all. Reading these posts has given me great faith that this is still a damn great country with people willing/able/insisting on thinking for themselves.
Boycott Oprah. Boycott MSNBC. Boycott the Dem Party.
Response to the DNC:
UNITY? LOL. I am dropping the dem party on Monday–how’s that. I’ll be independent.
–I actually feel pretty relaxed…it’s the Obama folks who have to worry about their pride if they lose the WH–maybe they will figure out that he mainly won the red republican states by caucus, that superdelegates went against their own states that Hilalry won to endorse Obama, that Obama coasted on a propaganda machine of lies built by the media, that MI and FL was one big cheat, that Hillary won the popular vote, that Hillary got the majority of the women vote, white working class vote, the rural white vote, the hispanics, the seniors, the catholics, the jews…that absolutley NO ONE can win the White House without, and maybe they will figure out that Hillary won all the big blue states and purple swing states needed to win…I still find it sort of insane that she won New York, California, and Ohio, PA, Florida, etc…and Obama won places like hard-core republican Alaska…and people thought it mattered for Obama only–lol, craziness. Maybe they will figure out that the electoral maps all showed Hillary beating McCain easily and Obama either tied or losing to McCain, and maybe they will all figure out that all those exit polls of more people in Hillary’s group saying that they would never vote for Obama than Obama’s people who would support her. Or maybe they will figure out that Hillary was sometimes outspent 4 to 1, like in PA, but she kept winning and winning and winning, and especially huge in many of the latest contests. OH, and how many of Obama’s votes are now buyer’s remorse votes since Obama’s church CRAP, Rezko conviction, terrorist ties, and Michelle and Barack’s controversial comments came out?
Obama did indeed limp across the finish line…he never even made the nom number, he only got there because of superdelegate promises…it’s a very weak win for Obama. Hillary was the stronger candidate to go up against McCain, and she would have killed him in debates, etc.
Now, Obama, a man who served ONE year in the U.S. Senate before running for president will go up against a 5-year POW American War hero, a man who held two terms in the House of Representatives and has 20 YEARS as a U.S. Senator.
LOL!
Maybe they will figure all this out one day–but really it doesn’t matter what they think.
**Never Obama.
Brilliant.
“Fight until hell freezes over, then fight on the ice.”
NO on BO. NO to the DNC.
NO means NO.
