General Elections are for the ‘big boys’. Compromises are needed to win them. I am not sure you guys can cut it! But, you just keep having your boyish fun criticizing us, calling us names, and telling us we don’t count. Then out of the side of his mouth, your chosen candidate and his cronies ask us to vote ‘party Unity’.

I am not seeing Unity. Are any of you guys seeing Unity? Wasn’t that your chosen candidates mantra through this primary? As in any relationship, unity requires compromise. But, arrogant, egotistical, people are not capable of compromise.

Obama won in february contests because Hillary’s campaign of inevitability was a lame one. Voters wanted change not a coronation, and Obama offered ‘more change’.
Hillary won since Mar 4th because the voters got to see the real depth (or lack thereof ) of the candidates. Hillary bounced back, too late, and Obama was exposed as having radical and flakey associates and an elitist view (’clinging’ comment). Obama’s campaign is simply a disingenuous one, selling something he is not. Had timing been different, Obama would have lost the nomination race. The real Obama didnt come out until more than 30 states had voted.

Obama had a better campaign but was and is the inferior candidate.

I hope people vote in November as *citizens* not as Party Loyalists. This is still the USA not the USSR, and party loyalty is responsible for some of the worst politicians we’ve had.

Preach it, brother! McCain and Obama need to be judged on the above, not on the label they wear. Our first President G. Washington warned about mindless factionalism. Heed it!

Obama can’t win on his qualifications, since he is manifestly un-ready to be President. The Wright, Ayers, Pfleger issue prove that Obama lacks both good judgment and in the pinch lack courage. He stood by these radicals when it suited and threw them under the bus when it didnt.

Democrats have to be loyal? What about loyalty to country first, ie, the best person for the job?

The GOP has nominated the most un-Republican candidate in a long time, McCain, who has done more for the Democrat signature issues like CFR, etc. than Obama would even if Obama had 20 more years in the Senate.

McCain is the kind of centrist many moderate Democrats would flock to if he wore the D label. And Lieberman is supporting him even with an R label. If you dont like extremism in either party, voting for McCain will be a rebuke both to the leftwing and rightwing in our politics.

Bashing Democrats who arent warming up to Obama is a great way to send them over the edge to the other side.
