All African Americans visiting this site, take notice that you are reading remarks posted by members of the democratic party. Please help bring attention to this truth. There is a place for you in the Republican party. John McCain is polling 24% of the black vote in Michigan. Educate yourselves. As you read posts at this site, you will realize why your ancestors were a solid republican voting block. Republicans support their black candidates. You are welcome in our party.

African Americans, look at the comments on this site. Bring your votes and your donations to the republican party. Many of you will wait until the real dems defeat Obama. Remember them. Republicans support their Black candidates. Your ancestors were well treated by the republican party. You are also welcome as many of you are people of faith. People of faith have no place in the DEMONcRAT party.

The real democratic or should I say DEMONcRAT party. Full of baby killers, sodomites, welfare leeches, racists and general dummies.

All African American with jobs and pride, please hear me. When Obama loses, come home to the republican party. This is the real democratic party. We republicans depise them. Evidence is here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1992769/posts

Blacks, this is the real democratic party. The party of “black codes” Johnson, George Wallace and the Southern manifesto.

Republicans freed the slaves and gave you your rights. The first black senators were republican. Most of the signers of the civil rights bill were republicans. Ronald Reagan appointed Colin Powell to be National security advisor. George Bush appointed a black and a black woman to be secretary of state. Dems have been killing your babies, ruining your families and putting you on the back of the bus for advancement for hundreds of years. Educate yourselves…because what you see here is the real democratic party. Never ever vote democrat again. They will betray you every time.

Stop whinning, it makes us look weak. If Obama loses in 08 you can kiss Billary's chances ib 2012. Move on and let's make the ticket powerful. Remember she is going to need more than just you whiners to win. Please put Bill in the whitehouse again, I am sure there is some women he has not had sex with you.
Hail Hillary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy campaign.

Holy Hillary, Husband of Bill, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen

You know, Mark, reading this page I want to say to your post, "here, here."

But I think Mr. Sanders' tone is probably the best one to take, here, because nerves are still raw and time for reflection is needed.

I understand that the supporters of either losing candidate would certainly review and debate such a close-fought and intense nomination process.

The real test though is to ask the so-called "dead enders" to listen carefully to Hillary's own words this Saturday - which I believe were genuinely heartfelt and not "pure politics for the DNC." I was an early Clinton supporter who switched my vote to Obama but I was never prouder of Hillary than I was on Saturday, and I still feel she has a lot of potential and a lot to offer this country. She was an eloquent defender of Democratic party principals and the task before us now is to move forward and see our choice clearly. McCain is not a legitimate choice for anyone who cares about the issues that Hillary cares about.

And if Hillary's supporters want to see her ever play a significant role in an administration, the only choice is to vote for Obama. Obama will certainly put her and Bill into any administration he creates. But if Obama loses in 08 because of Hillary Democrats voting for McCain, Hillary's political career will be over - not only will she have no support in 2012, there there would be a backlash from concerted efforts in NY to oust her from her Senate seat. That would probably fail but it would be close and would cost her much in terms of influence in the party, and her Presidential ambitions would be over. That would be a shame, and especially so for those who claim to be her "supporters."

Yes, nice post Mr. Yo: simply ignore those who list the inconvenient truths about your candidate. Obama won and deserved to win the nomination. Sane people will also believe he deserves to win the presidency and will support him. Others like you should just stay in your deluded fantasy world.

That's right, Yo, you've lost, so why not concede by refusing to debate those who you disagree with? After all, what is a refusal to debate those you disagree with or a to pretend that name-calling is the same as making an argument but an admission of defeat?

No, it's Obama's fault that Hillary made mistakes. How can Hillary be responsible for herself and her campaign? Obama is the root of all evil, remember? Always point the finger.

What a sham. Hillary has SET BACK the women's movement in this country.

Good! I don't want your vote! It will be that much sweeter when Obama wins the general election without the bitter-delusional-conspiratorial Hillary crowd.

Why can't you guys just accept the fact Hillary lost fair and square? And don't tell me she was cheated. She started out with the money, the name recognition, the establishment, the inevitability, and the former President on her side.

SHE BLEW IT. She spent too much, too carelessly, listed to the wrong people (and overpaid them), was too overconfident, didn't read the American electorate, didn't compete in caucus states, had no strategy after February 5th, and divided a lot of people.

Obama was responsible for none of that. The sooner you accept this, the sooner you can move on with your lives. You can vote for Obama or not but at least stop kidding yourselves.

It amazes me that Clinton supporters can insist that she somehow deserves the nomination - despite Obama's double-digit lead in national polls of Dems and the fact that he won more states, delegates, supers and yes, raw votes ...

... but we're the cultists?

I trust that the overwhelming majority of Clinton's supporters, after the dust settles and some of the hurt feelings from a tough campaign are soothed, are going to vote for Obama in the fall. The rest are either GOP trolls or people so committed to identity politics that nothing Obama could do short of ceding the nomination would satisfy them.

You want to live in some fantasyland where Obama "stole" the nomination? You want to sit out or vote for McCain in the fall? Be my guest.

Those are four states. In case you've never had any introduction to the field of mathematics, one must win a MAJORITY of the delegates in order to secure the nomination, i.e. "win".

He loses, in short, 40% of registered Democrats right out the shoot.

Ummm...please do the math. He's retaining 60% of Hillary supporters. That means losing 20% of Democratic voters. That's about the same amount that Hillary would have lost if she'd won the nomination. But not mine: I'm tired of the Republicans ruining our country and that's what matters to me.

So, because one candidate of two excellent finalists didn't win the nomination, loyal Democrats are going to forget the past eight years and vote for four more years of a pointless war, shrinking middle class, no healthcare, unstable social security, conservatives on the court to overturn a woman's right to choose, not to mention nix the idea that Hillary and Bill would likely both have significant cabinet posts in an Obama administration?

Those people were never real Democrats: they were anti-Obama fanatics. Let McCain have them: they're the only one's who'll vote for him, since he has no positive message for our country.

The comments here are worse than the article. If Clinton really embodied all that you believe, then I guess you must be a cyncical, say-anything, scruples-free person.

Clinton LOST the election, PERIOD. Even if you counted the disqualified FL and MI contests (the disqualification something Clinton, Penn, and Ickes endorsed from "day one"), guess what? Obama still wins! The nomination is a battle for delegates, everyone knew that. The only conceivable way Clinton "wins" the popular vote is by not giving Obama any of the MI "uncommitted" and by ignoring the four caucus states who don't report total numbers.

You Clinton dead-enders are a disgrace to both your party and the nation. Candidates lose, that's what elections are for. Did any of you cry over the losses of Bill Bradley, Paul Tsongas, or John Edwards?

Check out Time magazine today. Clinton lost the womens vote for crying out loud. Maybe those women saw no feminist in Clinton. Her entire career was a model of unfeminism: her entire experience argument is derivative of her husband's, a serial sexual predator who she enabled all of these years. Had she divorced him before her Senate run and went back to "Rodham" I may have had an ounce of respect for her.

Obama did nothing wrong but run an excellent campaign. He took numerous negatives from Clinton ("young", "kid", "fairy tale", "Jesse Jackson", "as far as I know", the Kenyan native dress photo, to name just a few). But he stuck to his positive message and won FAIR and SQUARE.

Get over it.
