I learned over the weekend why the Republicans who have seen the tape of Michelle Obama ranting about “whitey” describe it as “STUNNING.” I have not seen it but I have heard from five separate sources who have spoken directly with people who have seen the tape. It features Michelle Obama and Louis Farrakhan. They are sitting on a panel at Jeremiah Wright’s Church when Michelle makes her intemperate remarks. Whoops!! When that image comes out it will enter the politcal ads hall of fame. It will be right up there with the little girl plucking daisy petals in the famous 1964 ad LBJ used against Barry Goldwater.
That ain’t a “lie” Barky. It is a fact. Of course, most Barack supporters have trouble grasping this concept. Maybe that’s why they support Barack–does not require much intellectual effort. Simply close eyes and hold your nose.

WASHINGTON (AP) – Democrat Barack Obama’s campaign said Thursday that Michelle Obama never used the word “whitey” in a speech from the church pulpit as it launched a Web site to debunk rumors about him and his wife.
The rumor that Michelle Obama railed against “whitey” in a diatribe at Chicago’s Trinity United Church of Christ has circulated on conservative Republican blogs for weeks and was repeated by radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh. The rumor included claims of a videotape of the speech that would be used to bring down Obama’s candidacy this fall.
“No such tape exists,” the campaign responds on the site, . “Michelle Obama has not spoken from the pulpit at Trinity and has not used that word.”http://www.fightthesmears.com
The site is a response to the realities of a brave new world, where information travels 24 hours a day on blogs and voters are increasingly turning to the Internet for information. It’s a particular problem for Obama, a relative newcomer to national politics who is still unknown to many voters and has been the target of persistent misinformation campaigns online.
In another sign of the campaign moving into the general election race, the Democratic National Committee’s spokeswoman said Thursday its political and field operations are relocating to Chicago, where Obama’s campaign is based. While other departments will remain in Washington, it’s an effort to streamline the campaign and party efforts in one strategy instead of the overlapping efforts of past presidential elections.

Wow, this place is a real sewer. I find it totally ironic that those that support Larry can do little more than call people who disagree with them “stupid” and “troll”.
I mean, after all as has been pointed out, Larry posted an item where he claims – not that he saw the tape, not that he talked to someone that saw the tape, but that he talked to someone who talked to someone that saw the tape. Now that’s stupid.
In addition (and has also been pointed out) this “black politician says whitey on tape” bull is the plot of a novel for pete’s sake by Steven Frey called “The Power Brokers”. Mistaking a book for reality is really stupid.
What I would like to know tho, is come October, when this video makes no appearance anywhere in the real world, will Larry Johnson apologize for such a ridiculous smear? I bet Rush Limbaugh just loves the hell out of you Larry!
