What happened is that a single estate was divided into 2 lots for sale. The condition was that both sales had to be closed on the same day. To say, as “No to B.O.” does that “you had to buy both as per the deal for the sale” is just flat out wrong.

The Obamas bought the house for 1.6 million, which was, yes, 300,000 less than the asking price! But you live in a strange universe indeed if the only possible accounting for this is corruption.

“No to B.O.” himself admits that the Obamas only purchased a small portion of the Rezko’s land so even by his own accounting of the facts this wouldn’t be a “$600K discount/corrupt money”, it would be a small portion of that.

Finally with a couple of minutes spent googling a person can find out: a) the amount of land the Obamas purchased was about 1500 sq. ft b) it was about 1/6 of the Rezko property.

Meaning the Rezko property is still about 7500 sq ft. I am going to take a guess here and say that isn’t “officially too small to build on”.

There’s no reason to be telling lies like this about Obama when you can accomplish the same thing by telling the truth about Obama.

I’ve heard black folks say and write that they will vote obama JUST because he’s black!! thats brutally racist!! he’s not qualified..bottom line..this guy cannot work with republicans at all! look at his record for proof!! if barack is elected our country will splinter apart and fall apart!! If Obama actually has good traits (he sure is good at COPYING stuff he thinks will work from others, I have yet to see ANYTHING ORIGINAL from him at all), the ASSHOLES who support him are sure managing to obscure them with their own ASSHOLE-ish behavior!

The explanation I’m seeing is that he wrote 2 books and profited well from them. But the first book was written in 1995 and apparently didn’t do that great until he wrote the second book in 2006, at which time the first book was rereleased and then did well.
