The Tipping Point?

Obama, issues

Why has Obama’s lemonade never turned into lemons sour enough to make everyone (and that includes the media) sit up and take notice? It always felt like a “tipping point” was just around the corner, but it never quite spilled over.

Was it because Hillary Clinton’s campaign (as well as her supporters) were likely to be labeled as racist or playing “dirty politics” if they made any critical comment or asked the hard questions about his experience and background?

When even some of the most liberal blogs deleted the posts and banned their creators for the slightest disapproval of Obama, we all learned the hard way that free speech where you might most expect it does not exist.

Before the Republicans take full hold of this pitcher’s handle, Obama’s supporters should encourage him to give some very straight and complete answers to some of the puzzling questions suggested by what all is floating around in the lemonade.

There should have been a tipping point, but Howard Dean, Pelosi, Kennedy, Reid, Kerry, The DNC made sure it didn’t happen. End of story.

However, do not think for a moment that the American people have forgotten any of it.

The only problem is older individuals who do not have computers and do not watch a fair and balanced news source.

Comment by Jeremiah God Damn AmeriKKKa Wright | 2008-06-12 17:15:27

Older individuals are not a problem. Don’t forget the vast majority of older democratic voters were on Hillary’s Side. They never bought into the Hope and Change you can laugh at.

The fact of the matter is that the DNC is now divided.

Even if a large portion of the Hillary supporters fall in line and vote Obama, a significant portion will not.

And please stop thinking Hillary only has 18 million supporters.

Its a lot lot more.

I for example was unable to vote in the primaries but will be voting in the general.

And I am not an isolated incedent.

Primaries and caucuses are one thing but the general election is another.

If we assume that the country is divided approxiamately 50/50 rep/dem, the 50% that Obama thieved his way to representing are not 100% behind him.

even if he loses 5% of the democratic voters he is landslide history.

Thats why they are panicing so much right now. Despite all the chest puffing they are scared shitless.

They know they propped up a straw puppet and handed him the nomination,

THey know he can’t win the general

They know that his maniac supporter base will riot on the night of and day after the elections when he loses.

They know that they just fucked themselves royally.

They know it.

Thats why they are screaming and panicing and going into suppress the speech gestapo mind police mode.

Their problem is their Orgasmassiah came too soon.

The Climax is over.

THe race card was played prematurely.

The hatemongering has tainted them severely.

They unity message turned out to be the divide at all costs message.

The Hope was dope and the change was a change for the worse.

It all turned out to be even worse than the politics of the past and thier messianic candidate is continually proveing to be just a typical dirty flip flopping politician.

What they don’t know is how big the revolt against Obama will be.

That’s the last big surprise in this election season.

And boy is it going to be a whopper!

Comment by jadwiga | 2008-06-12 18:06:39

Just imagine how great of a movement Hillary created that she could stand up against the Obama-DNC machine for the entire primary season, and win the popular vote and – if she wouldn’t have been defrauded on May 31, she would have the majority of the pledged delegates as well!

Hillary rocks!

Unity is gone with the wind.

You are right. The primaries should have been wrapped up swiftly and now BO would be un-exposed.

God works mysterious ways.

Comment by Doomandgloom | 2008-06-12 18:20:33

In Indiana alone, at least 7% of Hillary’s votes are thought to have been a part of Rush Limbaugh’s “Operation Chaos”. Check out his archives to hear him gloat more about how his “operatives” kept the race she lost long ago alive. Many of the “18 million votes” were not cast by Hillary supporters. Likewise, I’m sure many Obama supporters vote generals only as well.

Comment by Colin | 2008-06-12 18:38:51

More Indiana Republicans voted Obama.

Comment by POdVet | 2008-06-12 19:32:01

Obama had knowingly been courting Republicans and Independents to vote for him in the primary even though they would never vote for him in the general election. His whole Democrat for a day program was centered around Hillary Hate. So while you sit spouting off the Obamessiahs BS talking point on the Rush effect, remember it was Obama who started it, and unlike the Rush effect that was shown to be at best a fraction of a percent, many of the Republicans who crossed over to vote for him have plainly said they did it because he gave them an easy win come November.

Those you see following the Obamessiah are not Democrats, though the species may try to look similar. They are in fact nothing but JACKASSES!

Comment by David Axisrutt | 2008-06-12 17:27:21

I don’t think Daley is going to run anything. I think he’s only going to host it. I’m not sure what’s going on but my gut tells me Daley’s a minor player here.

Comment by jadwiga | 2008-06-12 18:10:59

This is not ridiculous. This is very dangerous. This is how Lenin took over in Russia. Exactly the same recipe.
Than the Russian civil war followed. I don’t expect that to happen here, but the methods, the playbook is just too similar.

Very-very dangerous.

For all the reasons cited above, the “tipping point” has not yet happened. However, as you point out, once the Repubs get a firm grip on the pitcher handle. the liquid refreshment is going to flow.

Our job, as I see it, is to keep bringing attention to the pitcher, so it overflows its container before the convention.

It makes you wonder to which special interest they’re covertly pandering–it just makes no sense, otherwise. Steal a nomination from the most qualified candidate, foster party division with blatantly unfair practices designed to piss off and alienate the “reliable” wing of the party….WHY?

They can’t possibly think these kids will be giving up their pot and pizza money FOREVER. The DNC fools are cutting off the financial lifeblood of the party by pissing off Old Paycheck Pattie and Dollar Bill Dave, working class Dems who actually contributed, faithfully, for years…but who won’t send any more dough to a group of punkass, smartass bullies that don’t represent them anymore.

Are they all covertly shilling for McCain? They couldn’t have played it any better if they were, actually.

Many of the pissed off Democrats-for-decades, if they aren’t voting McCain as a hearty FUCK YOU to the DNC, are either staying home or voting PRESENT.

A fair number, too, are switching parties, and becoming INDEPENDENTS/Unaffilateds.

I’m one of them.

Comment by Jeremiah God Damn AmeriKKKa Wright | 2008-06-12 17:24:45

Pot and Pizza Money?

Are you on the Hopium?

Thats not pot and Pizza money.

Thats Abu and Abdul’s Money from the middle east bundled as small time untrackable donations by his swarming mass of lobbyist bundlers who are not really lobbyists wink wink.

Comment by David Axisrutt | 2008-06-12 17:35:01

LOL. It’s true.

Comment by Clinton Fan | 2008-06-12 18:02:47

Plenty of those little shitbirds ARE sending their pot and pizza money. Certainly, it’s not the only source of The Messiah’s income, and I never suggested that it was.

The bundled non-lobbyist lobbyist money is coming from the sources you mention, but that’s for BHO, to crown him King, NOT for Howard Dean.

Someone’s gonna have to make up the difference–a lot of former Democrats just aren’t donating to PACs, to the DNC, to Congressional relection efforts any more…because we’ve LEFT the party, see?

The Pot and Pizza crowd are gonna have to dig deep. You think they have the motivation? I don’t. I think Howard and the DNC have fucked themselves.

If you read my post contextually, you’d plainly realize that I’m not “on the Hopium” and not even close enough to get one of those contact highs. I’m a PRESENT voter who supported Clinton, and will support Clinton in four years. I won’t vote for the Bullshitting Halfassed Obama. I just think he sucks as a candidate. If The Anointed One crashes and burns, I’ll reopen my checkbook and resume sending cash to HRC. Otherwise, I’m writing in PRESENT, if I don’t vote for Johnny “just to be an asshole.”

The republicans aren’t shaking in their boots over your chicago thug. They are going to swiftboat his ass back to Pakistan where he belongs. He will be vetted. And so will his wife whether he finds it “unacceptable” or not.

The Republican party must have fallen on the floor laughing when he said “They had better watch it”. You are going to watch it and wince.

The majority of America watches TV. They don’t have time for DKos or mybarackobama or some pissant website. That’s for children and us die-hard political junkies. What they have time for is that TV spot. Real life isn’t the internet. All those ‘hicks” and blue collars will be watching. All those Jews will be watching. Everybody will be watching. Barack Obama will be vetted. He doesn’t make the rules. He just thinks he does. Get ready to meet a taller Mike Dukakis.

Has the takeover of the DNC ever happened before. This doesn’t pass the smell test. To move the operations to Chicago? Hillary, and Bill, need to start a third party and now. I no longer consider myself a Democrat, but this isn’t right. Today, I got a letter from the Obama campaign-disgusting with his logo all over the outside, and the “yes we can”, busshit on the front. Wrote back, no way, no how-go to hell, and I ripped up the part that said yes we can, crossed it out, and wrote no you won’t. That felt pretty good. This takeover is wrong, wrong, wrong.

To remind Tony Rezko to keep the faith (no squealing, Tony baby, if you know what’s good for you)? To find the new Democratic federal prosecutor to replace Patrick Fitzgerald? To hear Reverend Wright’s or Father Pfleger’s sermons so they can be sure God is on their side?

Hey Pat: Another great cartoon !

I think that the pitcher has an unseen crack in it,
and that is the Judgment crack. OB shows his lack of depth when talking without a teleprompter, or in front of his OBots. The Dean Campaign to get one of their own elected as President looks like they may get the nomination, but the actions of the Dean DNC will lead to another McGovern-like defeat.

DNC Rules Committee decision = losing in November.
Maybe there’s two cracks in the pitcher. The DNC is giving us 4 more years of failed policies. I’m so pissed off, there’s no way to correct their error, and Ob will take the DEAN DNC down.

The backlash against Obama is in progress. The weakness in his positions on the crucial issues is becoming increasingly evident. This man of many fancy words is holding a house of cards. McCains a fraud too. Why do you think he’s not exposing Obama right now? Two choices were given, and they’re both bought and paid for. McCain will say a little bit here and there to keep it going?
Do you really think McCain’s not corrupt? Have you looked?
Anyway, I hope it’s a tipping point on Obama, because soon, like the Iraq war, knowledge may be too little too late, but this time it will affect us at home.

I know he is, I’m counting on the Democrats to keep him sterile…(making the sign of the cross here)but the DNC must understand that they belong to us, Goddamn it.

It’s fake. McCain is having his stoogies go after Obama’s stooges in a fake cat and mouse.
It’s a rigged boxing match, I tell ya, with America taking the fall.
